Yeah, she was originally Inuzuka. Akiko looks sad here, becouse she's been told that her husband can, and probably would, erase everything about clan she's come from. (And tho he loved her, Butsuma did exactly that).

Headcanon: Tobirama gets his looks from his mom

I know it's the most widely used HC, but by my own personal hedcanons Tobirama looks almost nothing like his mom. 

Their mother, Haruna, rather passed on 90% of her looks to Kawarama, and down the line also a bit to Tsunade and Nawaki. 

Tobirama on the other hand got his appearance from their paternal grandmother: Senju Ema. 

Ema was the mother of Butsuma and his five siblings (two older sisters and three younger half-brothers), the head of the Senju clan before him, and one of the most renowned, feared and ruthless shinobi of her time. 

She had narrow ruby eyes, lips painted the color of blood contrasting her pale skin, and her hair was straight and silvery white, 

She died just a few weeks before Tobirama was born. 

The Senju did prosper and had a fearsome, ruthless reputation under her leadership, some still thought her a little too brutal and she wasn't particularly personable. Even members of her clan feared her, even her own children. 

When she died many were relieved, although Butsuma had to work hard to try and maintain the status that the Senju had risen to under his mother's rule.

Compressed timeline AU where the Hokages retire younger instead of mostly dying (Minato still kicks the bucket, sorry man, should have called Hashirama to deal with Kurama instead of trying to tackle it yourself) and you just have them wandering around the village when Naruto's growing up

Bonus points for Kakashi's mom being a Senju so he ends up adopted by Tobirama. Hashirama would have volunteered but he already has Tsunade and Yamato and Mito said they weren't taking any more.

Sakura low-key loves Tobirama's work but she pretends to hate him at first because Sasuke does. Tobirama never quite respects her for that but after the Character Development where she learns to do things for herself he might teach her a few things if Tsunade asks.

People still keep ripping off Tobirama's jutsu and forgetting he invented it and yes he's still salty about it

He and Orochimaru got along very well before Orochimaru left the village

Naruto was upset at first but later if Tobirama scolds Kakashi for reading Icha Icha when he's supposed to be teaching this 12 year old is 1000% ready to throw down with the Lord Second for being mildly disrespectful to Kakashi-sensei

Kakashi is mildly embarrassed. Tobirama is vaguely nonplussed. Kagami is laughing so hard he can't breathe.

Shisui still dies but Kagami finds out and grabs Itachi and he and Madara get a confession out of him and killing Danzou is the only thing Madara and Tobirama have ever agreed on. They hate it but Tobirama still tells Hashirama to shut up when Madara lights Danzou on fire. It goes a ways towards the younger Uchiha stopping calling him the White Demon of the Senju.

This is Kinda Dumb

MadaTobi reincarnation soulmates AU that nobody asked for.

It turns out that having the entirety of a former life shoved into your brain in the matter of seconds hurts like a bitch, Tobirama thinks.  (And no, he will not feel guilty for cursing in his own mind.  Nii-san can't hear him.)

He presses the ice pack harder against his aching head and eyes.  It's bad enough that his eyes are light sensitive on a normal day, and now with the raging migraine it's even worse.  Everything looks like a high saturation filter has been put over it alongside occasional rainbows.

"Here," a rough voice says.  It shoves something into his free hand and forces his fingers to close around it.  "My mom says that sugar and caffeine help with bad headaches.  They didn't have any soda so I got you a candy bar."

Uchiha Madara is three years older than Tobirama, making him the amazing age of thirteen to Tobirama's ten.  He is also one of the new kids in school.

Hashirama had wanted Tobirama to meet his new friend who just moved in and now he was in the nurse's office.  Of course.  Nii-san was the root of most of his problems.

In this life, and, apparently, his last.

"Thanks," he says.  "Can you talk quieter?"

"Oh," Madara says and Tobirama can hear him rustling around.  "Yeah.  Sorry."

The silence between them is awkward.  Tobirama leaves the ice pack lying on his face and fumbles open the candy bar.  The chocolate is oversweet on his tongue and he's not sure it helps but… it does make him feel a bit better anyway.

Madara clears his throat and Tobirama can hear him rustling around again.  Tobirama realizes that he's fidgeting.  "So…."

"I hate you," Tobirama says.

Madara sucks in a breath and in the smallest voice Tobirama has ever heard, says, "Okay."

Tobirama flaps his candy bar at him.  "Stop.  I mean I hate you for not getting a headache."

The laugh he gets is worth it, and Tobirama smiles under the cold press of his ice pack.  "I did," Madara confesses.  "Just not as bad I guess."  There's another pause and then:  "Glad you don't hate me for being the epic villain anyway."

Tobirama snorts and moves his ice pack aside so he can squint blearily at Madara's blurry form out of one eye.  "Drama queen."

"Hey, I had a great motivation!"  Tobirama winces at the volume and Madara immediately looks contrite.  "Sorry," Madara says much more quietly.  "...But you gotta admit that being badass magical ninja is a pretty cool former life.  Even if it sucked big time."

Madara leans back on the plastic chair he's perched in, pressing against the back and Tobirama watches him for a second before humming in agreement.  It was like something out of a TV show or a movie.  He wondered if Hashirama would remember the same life or if he'd lived something in between— a world where Tobirama wasn't, or maybe Tobirama never met Madara in that life.

Whatever.

"If Izuna keeps making fun of my glasses," Tobirama says.  "I'm going to fight him."  New kid or not Uchiha Izuna was an ass and Tobirama was absolutely going to throw hands even if it meant getting detention.

Detention was just extra homework time without trying to hide from Dad anyway.

Madara makes a soft noise.  "I'll tell him to knock it off or I'll noogie him until he can't stand," he says with all the vindictive love of an elder brother annoyed by his younger sibling.  "You're my soulmate so he better get used to it and stop being a brat."

Tobirama's chest feels warm and fuzzy.  He realizes he's smiling again.  "Okay," he says. 

That sounded good to him.

I'd like to also add that Hashirama was Madara's only true friend; and Hashirama and Mito actually got into each other because they both bonded over classical music and joined the orchestra together. You can definitely bet that Madara was very jealous about the way Hashirama was giving Mito a lot of attention, and lowkey had a crush on him too; but of course he was too prideful to admit it. XDD

Also, Tobirama was the class president; a good leader that knows how to force people to do what he asked them to do, but yeah, he made enemies but he doesn't give a shit.

"I will spend every moment of my life making sure you never regret choosing me." He said, though I knew I never would either way. I smiled and rolled my eyes, pecking his lips and looking out the window for a moment, trying to guess the time but with the snow, everything always looked bright out. No car coming down the driveway though.

"I'll never regret it. I promise." I told him as I looked back at his eyes, seeing his smile made it feel like fireworks were exploding around me, what used to be a rare sight in his old world, now almost constant when with me here and it made me so proud to be the one that made him this happy. I wished there was a way I could prove I'd never regret it, knowing he's a person to believe actions rather then words for something important like this, but I didn't know what; until I remembered our earlier conversation. I should really take a test soon, today if possible, but if it's positive already what should I do? I guess I could make it a private Christmas present to Madara as a way to tell him, or maybe for New Years? My parents will already be a little fishy about it if I don't drink with them during the countdown like Max and I usually would. I should just take a test and see what it says, then wait to think about what to do. "I am going to have your babies, so I feel my promise should at least mean something in this instance." I said, trying to dismiss my other thoughts until later. He chuckled and nodded, closing his eyes momentarily before looking back at me.

"That is true." He said, pecking my nose. "I'm going to give you as many of children as you want, you're going to look so beautiful when you're pregnant." He said making me give a happy sigh, wishing we could jump to us making our own family right now, but I know it would take time for a few different factors at the moment.

"I can't wait to see this house full of our kids." I mused, kissing his cheek as I buried my nose in his neck. He hummed and kissed my shoulder softly, rubbing my sides as he took in a deep breath.

"You said that you should take a test earlier, what do you mean?" He asked making me sigh and look at him. Guess there wont be any surprise like I wanted.

"We have little tests to detect early pregnancy at home. My mom made me keep a few in the house just in case; she wanted me to at least have them for her own peace of mind. I'm not sure why she was so anxious about it, but it's coming in handy I guess." I told him making him hum, looking at me curiously.

"Would you be okay taking one before Tobirama and Max got here?" He asked making me chuckle and nod, moving to get up which he followed suit in. Guess it could be a surprise next time if he's asking me to take one right now. "H-how long does it take?" He asked making me chuckle.

"Only about 5 minutes." I said making him nod, he seemed excited.

"Is there anything I can help with?" He asked which just made me chuckle again at how adorable he was truly being.

"Madara, I know you're excited to see if I am pregnant or not, but its a very simple test, and I am perfectly capable of doing it on my own. Now sit down and wait here, okay?" I asked him softly, leading him to sit back down as he sighed, Seth jumping up to lay his front over his thigh. He'd gotten pretty big in the last month, especially with Madara training him, he wasn't my little pup anymore just by looking at him, but he sure was still just as playful as before.

"Alright.. Just, please tell me as soon as it's done." He said making me smile, standing between his legs as I kissed his head.

"I swear, as soon as I know the results, I will come straight to you, okay?" I asked him, he nodded and pulled me down for one more kiss before ushering me off to take the test.

I'm pregnant.

Am I happy? Of course! Is this really fucking early? Yes.

I stared at the two tests I took, the Clearblue digital screen reading 2-3 weeks while the other held two pink lines on it showing I was indeed pregnant. I could feel my hands shake as I looked up in the mirror before a knock at the front door and Seth's barking broke me out of my thoughts. Fuck! Are Max and Tobirama already here? The one time Max is early, of course! I could hear muffled talking and footsteps before I took a deep breath and stepped out, putting the two tests in my hoodies pocket as I walked to the main hallway where I saw Max and Tobirama standing there with Madara, Max was playing with Seth and gushing over him as all of them turning to me when I entered. I looked at them nervously, Madara looking at me questioningly as I seemed a little off after coming out of the bathroom. Max grinned as soon as she saw me and literally threw her arms around me.

"Alex! You never told me Seth was basically a mini bear." She laughed making me smile, chuckling as the puppy tried to jump on Tobirama.

"Seth, down!" I called to him, the fluffy dog stepping back from the uncomfortable looking Senju and bounding up to Max and I. "It's great to see you again." I told Max, squeezing her back before she took a step back and grabbed Tobirama's hand to lead him to me.

"Tobirama, this is Alex, my favourite cousin. We practically grew up like sisters." She said as I smiled, holding a hand out to shake though with how he looked at me, he could tell something was a little off too. Damn these ninja for being so observant, he must know something's up by the way he's staring at me will cautious eyes.

"It's nice to finally meet you. I look forward to eventually meeting Hashirama too." I said, trying to be as polite as possible as he gave my hand a slight shake.

"I'm glad the rest of Max's family doesn't seem to be as crazy as her." He said making me sweatdrop as Max laughed.

"Don't use me as an example for everyone. I'm sure her and I are both dreading ever introducing you to our mothers side of the family." I told him, seeing the slight irk in his look as he glanced at her and sighed. Madara came to stand by me, putting an arm around my shoulders as he looked down at the Senju.

"Try not to make a fool out of yourself while you're here. Alex's parents will be here in a few days and I don't need you tarnishing my first impression on them." He said making the Senju roll his eyes, scoffing at Madara.

"I highly doubt I'd need to do anything to do that, given who you are." He said arrogantly, I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Tobirama, this is my house and I will not tolerate disrespect from you to me or Madara. You may not have chosen to come to this world, but you have chosen to stay here, so you should be grateful you actually have people willing to help." I said, he looked at me in slight surprise, Madara looking both surprised and slightly smug to see me defending him. "I understand if you two do not get along, I don't expect you to, however if you're staying here I don't want any fighting. Do you understand?" I asked, Madara giving a slight snicker making me roll my eyes.

"I'm talking to you too, Mada." I said, his amused expression turning to one of reluctance but he nodded anyways, turning to me.

"Alright, I got it. No fighting." He said, his hands resting on my arms as he gave a small charming smile making me sigh, smiling as I nodded.

"I do not come here to cause issues for you, I apologize for my behavior." Tobirama said as I looked at him, Max by his side as he rubbed his head a little.

"It's alright, I kind of expected some kind of minor conflict with you two seeing each other again. I'm just hoping it isn't a constant issue." I said, Max smiled slightly.

"I'm pretty sure as soon as your dad gets here, he'll be the one dealing with them if they get into arguments." She said making me scratch the side of my face sheepishly.

"Yea, that's kinda what I'm worried about." I laughed nervously as Tobirama furrowed his brows.

"Her dad is from the military, one of this worlds types of shinobi." Madara told him, putting an arm around my shoulders before he looked down at me. "Navy, right? You said they had the hardest training out of the different types." He asked and I chuckled, nodding.

"Yea, from what my dad and brothers have told me, the Navy tend to have the roughest training, though that's partially because they get deployed faster and more frequently then most branches of the military, as well as the fact of having to make sure you don't get seasick if you're on the water." I said, shrugging a little. I truthfully didn't know much about it despite my families involvement.

"I see.." Tobirama said, an awkward pause coming across the room but I chose to ignore it.

"So, Max, I believe you remember where Porter and Eric's old room is, we've cleaned it for you guys of course, but feel free to settle in and look around. Just a small warning that there are currently a few wolves in the area roaming around, Madara's spotted them a few times, so I'd suggest keeping an eye out if you go outside." I told them, Max nodded and smiled, taking Tobi's hand as she lead him up the stairs. I turned to Madara after they were completely out of range and bit my lip, he turned to me with a raised eyebrow.

"Is something wrong?" He asked making me chuckle, taking the two tests out of my pocket and handing them to him. He looked at the pieces of plastic confused for a moment, not understanding until he looked at the blue and white one, the digital icon reading 'Pregnant 2-3 weeks' in bold black letters as I saw realization cross his face and he looked at the other one to see the positive pink plus on the white background. 

He looked at me in shock, clearly he hadn't actually expected me to be pregnant yet; neither did I but as the seconds ticked by with Madara's shock, he quickly dropped the tests, putting his arms around me as he picked me up and kissed me passionately. I wrapped my arms around him tight as I smiled into the kiss, feeling the pure joy that he radiated at the news the two small plastic sticks provided him. I was pregnant, now there was no doubt I would always be his, even if I already was before. He pulled back and smiled widely at me, his dark eyes shining in a way I had only just begun to see glimpses of in the last few days.

"You, are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I swear on my soul, I will cherish you and our children for as long as I breathe." He whispered to me, the oath bringing a shy smile and blush to my face, my hands cupping his cheeks as I leaned my forehead against his.

"I know you will. You will always have my unconditional love and trust, not just because I love you now, but because you are so much more then just my partner." I said softly, trying to put into words how much I truly cared for him in this relationship and in general. "You are a strong shinobi, an amazing lover, a thoughtful teacher, a surprisingly good gamer, and now, the father of my child. Our child. You mean so much to me I can barely breath without you." I told him, meaning every single word I spoke knowing it was the whole truth of what I thought of him. 

This wasn't Madara Uchiha from the Naruto manga or anime; this was Madara Uchiha, my boyfriend, future husband, father of my child, best friend to Seth, my protector, my love, my whole world at this point. He was just, my Madara. A normal man in this world with nothing but the wish for a happy and safe family with the woman he loved and craved most. He was a whole different man in terms of wants and goals in life it seems, as if his whole perspective on life had changed, but I know it was just because he was actually happy now. He had finally found someone to call family again, to help make him feel whole after all he'd been through.

"I love you." He said making me grin, laying a kiss on his lips softly.

"I love you too."

In the original timeline Izuna died when he was 24 (50 bnb) and the same year Konoha was build. I think Tobirama would be faster and tries to press for marriage and peace earlier.

57 bnb - Hashirama marries Mito when he's 19.

56 bnb - There's no info about when Butsuma dies so let's say he dies when Hashirama and Madara are 20 (Tobi and Itama 17) but honestly it doesn't really matter.

56 - About this year Mito should give birth to their first kid (no official info i just want their kid be at least 17 when Tsunade is born)

55 bnb - So they start pressing for peace this year, but they actually sign peace treaty year later (Hashi Mada - 21, Tobi 18) and Tobi is engaged to Madara.

54 bnb - They marry a year later (22 and 19) after Konoha got basics done as a celebration.

According to timeline Fugaku was born when Tobi is 40. Hikaku is probably older than him, so we can safely say that Hikaku is Fugaku's grandfather Or maybe mikoto is from his line, but whatever, Hikaku is Itachi and Sasuke's grand grandfather

also at 14 bnb Mito (she's like about 62 if she's Hashiramas age?) dies cuz she gave Kishina Kuubi. But Madara never left, never brought him near village and Mito didn't have to seal him inside of her so she doesn't die.

Kushina goes into village cuz maybe she studies seals under Mito (we need Naruto to happen ok)

Just some kakuhida headcanons I found in my drafts~ Who hogs the blankets Hidan does, especially when he’s not feeling like he wants to snuggle and just wants to be left alone. With all those hearts Kakuzu doesn’t feel cold until it’s *really cold* so he doesn’t mind letting Hidan have the blankets if he wants them. Who cooks best Definitely Kakuzu, it’s cheaper than going out and he’s learned to cook really well over the years. Hidan can actually make basic foods though, but often gets distracted and burns things a lot if he steps away from the stove.  Who likes to playfully tease the other I’m going to say Kakuzu for this one, Hidan is just so easy to tease and get worked up and Kakuzu loves getting a rise out of him (in more ways than one…). Who always wants to take selfies of the other Hidan does, he wants to show off his man and prove to all his haters that someone out there actually does love and care about him, even if Kakuzu is just as awful as he is, they’re in love and he’s hot. He also loves to look through the pictures when he’s by himself and feeling down. Kakuzu does however like to take the rare picture with Hidan when he doesn’t realize it, in quiet moments like when he’s fallen asleep on top of him. Who cuts the others hair Neither. Kakuzu will either cut his own hair or just go get it done somewhere, but he rarely cuts it, he just likes letting it grow and do its own thing. Hidan is too concerned about his appearance to get an at home hair cut and goes somewhere for it. Who is the most ticklish Hidan is, of course, and sometimes it gets in the way of sexy times, when he can’t stop laughing and almost kicks Kakuzu in the face for touching the back of his knee. Who initiates kisses I’d say they both do pretty well so it’s mostly 50/50. Hidan might just initiate slightly more often though. Who sings along to the radio Hidan, and he's surprisingly good at it. Kakuzu wouldn't be caught dead singing. Favorite non-sexual activity to do together Eating, and having some quiet time together, usually where Kakuzu reads and Hidan lays beside him and either prays quietly to himself, naps, or maybe even reads a book as well (rare but it can happen). Or bathing together which sure, it could turn sexual but doesn’t always. Who makes the other coffee in the morning Kakuzu, but it’s more he’s made himself coffee because he wakes up early, and there’s (usually) some left in the pot for Hidan when he wakes up. But Hidan doesn’t drink much coffee, it makes him too jittery. Who asks the weird question in the middle of the night Hidan does, when he’s contemplating his faith, his existence, or when he’s just in a mood to think about and ask weird questions. Kakuzu would honestly rather they wait for the morning, or while they’re in the shower together, at other times he finds those conversations rather interesting and endearing.  Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times Hidan does, but Kakuzu just turns right around and whispers even more inappropriate things back and makes Hidan get all flustered.

I got an idea but i'm gonna make it quick cause currently brewing a potion of Fuck You for me to drink come tomorrow morning to start pushing out new chapter of FUBAR's next arc

Madatobi, slowburn, Modern!AU, Highschool!AU, i'm about to fuck your shit up if you are, were, or becoming an angry teenager

Story is all told in Mada's POV (maybe with little breaks of Tobirama) and he in his family live in the perfect picket fence household and Mada is a straight-A student, over stressed student body president, really gives off the dad-friend vibe cause he's also a nerd but don't think he's weak for thinking that hanging out with the Naruto-weeb kids during lunch is cool cause he's not afraid to throw hands. On the other hand Hashi, his best friend, his captain of the football team and all about school pride and their childhood friendship is a match made in heaven They promised to be each other's best man at the weddings, probably get stuck in the same nursing home together, that type of childhood best friend.

Except Mada knows that Hashi's homelife isn't that good.

He knows nothing explicit cause his friends keeps him fairly distracted and over the years Mada stopped questioning why he's never invited over at the Senju's house and other subtle signs that shit ain't right.

Another thing to ignore is Tobirama.

Hashirama's younger brother by only a year, a junior in highschool to Mada's senior. The pale senju is one of those feral punk teens that have safetypins pierced up and down his ears, EYELINER, blackpainted fingernails and an attitude like a cactus on fire and emitting poisonous fumes. Really caustic personality, gets in trouble ALOT by the school and Hashi has let it slip once or twice that he's not afraid to act mean at home either. Kinda a depressing kid really, like a shadow no one wants to acknowledge.

Until Madara gets into a situation.

idk for what, all i know is that he needs outside 'illegal' help in order to get out and who is the most 'criminal' person within his reach? Tobirama. So he goes to Tobirama asking for help and after hearing the story Tobirama helps.

The thing is though Madara thought the whole interaction was going to be worse than it was...but...it turns out Tobirama is funny? Really dry, sarcastic, morbid humor and it catches Mada completely off guard and turns out afterwards he realizes...he actually kinda enjoyed hanging out with the emo kid.

So let's have an arc of the usual Highschool!AU tropes where the straight-A student is trying to help the emo kid. the usual "I can fix him!" attitude mixed with the "he's not really that bad" and the "I didn't know you were THIS smart."

Except everytime it's brought up Hashi makes a face like he sucked a sour lemon. tries to kindly warn off Mada like his own brother is a ticking time bomb.

Why?

Stop the musical number, change the lighting and filters and let's take a look at the Senju homelife.

Dad's a cop.

A mom ain't afraid to lash out.

Oh, they'd never hurt their kids or each other cause they're a 'perfect' family (despite having their embarressing second son) but that doesn't mean Daddy don't drink till he passes out and screams at Mom about anything and everything. And Mommy is so nice and smiley until she's hurt and then she lashes out with her tongue in anger, fear, and pain before crying her eyes out like she's the victim.

Tobirama. fucking. hates. being at home.

But he's got two little brothers, Kawa and Ita in Middle and Elementary school, that only has him going up to bat when Daddy turns to yell at his kids so Tobirama stands in the line of fire and shouts back. And when Mommy tries to play both the victim and aggressor card Tobirama still stands and doesn't let her focus on his brothers.

In this; Tobirama is turning out just like their dad. And that's why Hashi can't help but fear and resent his younger brother. But at the same time Hashi is just like their mom, willing to smile and gloss over the abuse, lashing out when something doesn't go their way, and playing the victim card to get out of trouble.

And Madara is stepping a little too close to the landmine for comfort.

It's gonna blow up on him.

Kakashi is NOT beating the mother hen allegations.

I honestly think it'd be kind of funny if u stick to canon and like, he's actually a little bad with kids / genuinley wants nothing to do with his team. BUT the Hatake thing ab them being serial adopters + not being good when left alone is also real. (Kakashi is just either an outlier or his instincts are buried under all that trauma + general avoidance of children as a whole)

So like. Kakashi is standing there, arms filled with children (that he did not ask for!!!) and everyone who looks at him is going "oh no,,, his Hatake instincts have overtaken him,,, he got so desperate he stole children this is literally so sad,,"

BUT NO !!! THESE ARE NOT HIS KIDS !!!! HE WANTS OUT !!!!!!!

But like. Also they've time traveled. There's no one to pass them off to or place to hide from them he's now their legal guardian as their sensei and also the only adult who can reasonably be trusted to care for them till they can get back home.

It's like one of those situations where ur mother is constantly asking when you're going to get married/have kids, and you can't just tell her to fuck off bc that's your MOM. So you just kind of squirm in ur seat and deflect

(And then eventually he slowly slips from genuinley wanting out to actually seeing them as his kids but also being DEEP in denial about it

Kids?? What kids?? He doesn't have any kids. Those brats??? Nah he hates them (he says while pausing to buy their favorite foods in the middle of a life or death chase)

Anyways ->

B) I wanna propose an alternative, the Uchiha hear him out and decide he has to do a ghost marriage to Obito in order to keep the eye. So instead of Kakashi lying ab being married to Obito he is actually now legally married to his (not actually all that dead) ghost (oops)

Not that he fuckin knows it tho!

Also this way the Uchiha get to own his ass (and sharingan) + also get Sasuke and the other bonus children (they mostly care about Sasuke)

Anyways uhh.

Really big fan of taking the half-hatake Tobirama train and then also saying he's Kakashi's uncle (his mother was sisters with Kakashi's grandma) and saying Kakashi actually resembles him a decent amount

It's shown up a couple times in my fics actually. Every time I sprinkle a little "When he glares he resembles Tobirama" line in my fics my depression gets a little better

But my point is -> there's SOME kind of implications with Sasuke being a little Izuna look alike running around w a guy who resembles Tobirama. I don't know what implications (Tobirama doesn't have his reputation for being a mad scientist yet or else I'd say someone do a "clones gone wrong" theory) but like. Idk there's potential for smthn there

Team 7 gets zapped into the warring states era but it's like, team 7 either mid or directly after wave-arc.

They're babies!! They're untrained little babies!!! None of them have gotten that good good character development yet!! Kakashi is still actively desperately wanting to not teach them!! (tho he may have just gotten his "ahh fuck. I actually have to teach them, huh." Moment)

Sasuke looks like a carbon copy of a younger Izuna and it's going to cause problems

Naruto thankfully doesn't look much like an Uzumaki, but his tendency to very loudly introduce himself is going to get him into trouble

Going w my usual flavor of "the Hatake are a very small but very famous clan known for being fucking insane", people are seeing Kakashi and going "oh god oh fuck what are one of THOSE guys doing here oh sage preserve us please don't eat me" as Kakashi just kinda stands there like 🧍‍♂️

Sakura is the only one safe from not being fucked up and over her clan, good for her!

-> back to the Hatake thing.

The kids still know virtually nothing about their sensei so they're learning all this stuff about his clan and believing every word of it, from the believable rumors to the insane.

Sakura, in a hushed, worried voice: "Sensei,, is it true ur clan eats people??"

Kakashi, who's father died before he could tell him almost anything about their clan and genuinely doesn't know but at this point is starting to get a little worried about it:

Kakashi, who also never passes up the opportunity to fuck with someone: "only stupid little students who ask stupid little questions <3"

Sakura and Sasuke: *worriedly look at a confused Naruto*

For convoluted reasons they run into the Hatake of the era and after introductions they look at the kids and are like,

"Oh!!! Ok, so this is your kid, right? :)" pointing at Sakura.

And Kakashi is like. ",,no."

"Ohhh, ok. So this one is your kid then?" *points at Naruto*

",,,,,,,,no."

They look at him confused then nod at Sasuke. "So then that one's your kid, right?"

"None of them are my children."

*visibly disapproving / disbelieving side eye*

One big difference between this and the team ro time travel one is how much less trustworthy Kakashi comes off to literally everyone who looks at him.

He's a trained adult shinobi, probable bloodline thief (with no way to prove his innocence), and he has 3 children from 3 different clans (2 of which are indirectly enemies bc the Uzumaki is a Senju ally) (1 of which might have a direct relation to the Uchiha main house) and comes from an infamously volatile "wild clan" from another country entirely (Iron country)

He is NOT getting out of this with talk no jutsu bullshit. He has a target on his back from day 1 and it will take a minor miracle to get even a single person hear him out

Anyways uhh—

Saying Tajima and Butsuma are still alive but due to die in some months (till team 7 accidentally interfere and somehow accidentally save Tajima, maybe also Butsuma but I'm more biased towards Tajima so I'm thinking just him actually)

Kakashi sees baby Kagami and feels like he's been hit by a truck bc he looks just like a miniature Shisui and he has hang-ups about his "suicide"

Half-Hatake Tobirama is catching HEAT from Kakashi's antics. Why does one of ur cousins have a sharingan. Where did he get those children. Do you know anything about this. Is it your duty to help hunt him down bc hes your blood. If not yours then it's definatley the Hatake's, call them immediately and tell them to clean up their mess.

Bloodline theft is like THE ultimate no-no for all shinobi, especially in this era. To the point that even ancient enemies will sometimes temporarily set aside grudges to kill bloodline theives. Kakashi is so fucked, someone get him out of there

My brain: -already off in a corner playing with a shiny- so what if Meguru or Taka was still alive and Izuna was startled by Tobirama's eyes just enough to get killed so still-grieving atheist Madara becomes the hell hag when their mom dies and meanwhile Tobirama can see Izuna's spirit bc reasons (maybe can't tell he's Uchiha?) and Izuna's both trying to help Madara and, y'know, sticking around the only person who can see him. Tho if Taka lived and Meguru didn't it's probably all murder all the time in the background. Also something something divine favor something something soul connection Izuna comes back to life bc I don't have it in me to kill him for realsies

Oh if Taka was alive and Meguru wasn't Taka would be FUCKED UP.

Like, how they died in (our head) canon is basically: Taka and Meguru were on missions, they got herded together because one or both missions were actually traps, they got attacked, Meguru was killed, Taka got the mangekyou, and then Taka consciously chose to die while taking down as many of the people that killed Hako as he could rather than, say, using his new bullshit OP eyes to escape so he could survive. If he kills everyone at that battle he'll find the clan responsible and suicide attack their compound. Fuck responsibilities to the clan, fuck (now) being the only trained heir the Uchiha have, Taka isn't going to live without Hako.

So for Taka to survive... he could have just not been on that mission, or some other Uchiha could have arrived at exactly the right time to rescue him while being too late for Meguru. And then have to live with Taka hating them for it for the rest of his life. Taka proooobably wouldn't kill himself outright, but he'd be very reckless, and also the sort of depression that's all anger and lashing out. More so at other clans but the Uchiha aren't immune.

(Probably the someone who arrives has to be Tajima, because no one else has the authority to make Taka go home; anyone else he'd just take with him on his new avenge Meguru + suicide combo quest.)

Also Taka and Hako really are a team, so even without destroying Taka's mental health Taka is just way less effective and more militant as a leader on his own. Though he also would just be the heir at this point, not clan head yet.

Conversely if Taka died (definitely protecting Meguru) and Meguru survived Meguru would cope a little better initially, but then he'd be under even more pressure because he'd be expected to pick up all Taka's responsibilities as heir and become a better fighter so he can lead the clan in battle and keep up all his prior diplomacy and perfection. And without Taka he has literally no one that he's willing to confide anything in ever. So he'd take longer to break but he would eventually.

You can actually leave Izuna alive the whole time though! If Taka or Meguru was alive Madara would be the first pick for YS anyway, since he's both older and stronger than Izuna. The only reason he isn't YS in BSAU is because he's already the heir and thus unavailable.

Izuna, meanwhile, gets drafted into being the inferior replacement for whichever died of Taka and Meguru. He... might be able to convince the clan to stop thinking of him as a lesser Taka if Meguru lived because Izuna (once he grows up) is a stronger fighter, he's not in the exact same role, and nobody liked Taka. If Meguru died though Madara's the only Uchiha in their generation who's ever going to look at Izuna and not go "well he tries but he's not as pretty/graceful/diplomatic as Hako was :/" Sooooo that's going to Suck for him.

Of course once Madara is YS we have to figure out why he doesn't succeed in kidnapping (or killing) Tobirama because otherwise that's how we get gilded cage bad end AU. Probably a combination of Madara holding back (he's not a heretic until Izuna becomes YS, so if Madara does instead he still cares about the traditions at least a little) and Hashirama interfering.

(At least, gilded cage until Hashirama breaks in to rescue him. Several years of the Uchiha repeatedly kidnapping Tobirama and Tobirama breaking out or being rescued within a month every time is unreasonably funny to me. Still a bad end full of trauma for the characters because that probably means no end to the war, but hilarious.)

You mentioned how in your Naruto AU Uzumaki land being destroyed is gonna have consequences for sealing. But how would we know it didn't? Naruto starts when Naruto is starting his Ninja career. His mom was a child when the village got destroyed. That's probably at least 20 years between what we see and Uzumaki village falling. Plus considering Nagato, Naruto and Karin we know that it wasn't like every Uzumaki died when Uzumaki-land was destroyed. Plus sealing isn't exclusively an Uzumaki thing.

Tobirama- made a teleportation thing that uses sealing

Minato- was able to seal the Kyuubi without using the Uzumaki thing will Naruto have the Uzumaki chains or their equivalent in your AU?

Orochimaru- He did create the cursed seals afterall

Kakashi- He was able to deal with the cursed seal for a bit

Jiraiya- He's known for seals.

So if you're doing it like Naruto does and having focus on a specific character's journey to become the greatest how are you gonna show how Uzumaki-land's equivalent destruction effected a field when the place was destroyed at least 20 years before the character who's starting their path to become strong was even born?

I mean, to be pretty frank with you darling you're kind of asking me to explain a lot of the background world-building I'd like to do for a story I haven't started yet.

And, really I do feel like this is the most important point, it's obviously not Naruto canon-compliant.

And I said that the creation of Seals ground to a halt. As in new Seals were no longer being produced, not that all previously discovered/developed Seals everywhere suddenly disappeared.

Everyone you mentioned who used Seals for something very easily could have gotten them from sources that trace back to a single origin point because that's how information/resource distribution works. Especially when all of the above-mentioned people were at one point in time part of an entity that was directly allied to Uzushio.

Showing the impact of the destruction of an entire island/clan/village/way of life can be done in a number of ways. From seeding tidbits here and there throughout the story or just having one character look the MC and the audience straight in the face and go "much knowledge of the Sealing arts were lost when the island fell which really sucks for the rest of the world because nobody did Seals like the Uzumaki did Seals. No one could. What we have left now are echoes, copies being made and used. The act of true Seal Creation died with the island".

You can build a world out and show consequences of actions not directly 1:1 related to your pov character through a number of methods.

So i was watching those fillers about kakashi’s anbu days and an question came to my mind Why did tachi directly choose to kill the clan instead of trying to warn their parents and/or the uchiha clan first did he think they were too prideful to back down or completely leave the village or maybe he didn’t trust his OWN family

I mean if i was in that kinda of a situation (or heck even in any kinda of situation) the first thing I would’ve done; go to mom dad warn them/ask them what should i do, what should ‘we’ do and cannonically speaking itachi was 13 at the time and fugaku really seemed to be the most reasonable person to go to(while other uchihas were unnecessary being harsh to civilians during taking them into custody fugaku was the one to warn them) so itachi either, A) was kinda of an idiot who didn’t really think things through (wich I don’t think so cause he was supposed to be a genius at the very least a very smart person) or B) he was so arrogant thet he thought (an exceptional 13yo kid A FUCKING CHILD) he might be more suited and experienced! to handle the coup instead of going to his parents and I know ppl say that he got manipulated n stuff but c’mon wasn’t he basically the king of manipulation I don’t understand how he couldn’t thought anything besides killing everyone, wouldn’t taking sasuke and running should’ve been an option to what do you think

no ur so right anon the way itachi handled the massacre was so strange? and that’s why i like to headcanon that itachi had a really strained relationship with his parents (albeit slightly better with fugaku) where he never came to them with any of his emotions/problems growing up and internalised that until the massacre. i think the second option is more probable. we know he didn’t like most of the clan members and we even see him fighting some. what with all his achievements as a shinobi and his anbu status, itachi seems like the kind of person.

i think taking sasuke and running away would have halted the coup, with the clan heir and second son gone, however i am of the belief that the coup would have been inevitable. maybe due to strained relations or danzo’s machinations, konoha doesn’t help out much with trying to find itachi and sasuke and that increases tensions even further. we know that uchihas love fiercely and it could even lead to the clan more determined to go forward with the coup and then use further resources to find sasuke and itachi. it seems like a short term solution to marginalisation that’s been simmering for decades. it’s a far better alternative to him outright committing genocide however.

maybe itachi did think telling them he was being pressured into killing the clan would have gone badly. he’s very against the coup and has made this clear with his antagonistic actions after shisui’s death. i’m almost certain people in the clan didn’t trust him at all. he was definitely of the belief that more vocal members of the clan would use that as a further incentive to go ahead with the coup, even kill danzo and the elders. (danzo’s root however would be a major obstacle)

i think fugaku would have listened to itachi though. the uchiha coup is one that could be interpreted as a last ditch retaliation from a clan who were shoved to a corner. fugaku clearly loves the village—the coup was intended to be bloodless if it went according to plan. the elders wouldn’t even be aware of it if itachi stayed silent. (but i do think the other clans would not support an uchiha hokage because their reputation worsened after the kyuubi attack) and let’s be real, the elders were insanely corrupt. (but I am of the belief the corruption is only possible because of the shinobi system in place but then that’s a whoooole other topic) itachi’s spy status already puts him as a traitor to the clan which would be a huge betrayal for fugaku who believed in itachi when others didn’t. itachi would be disgraced by his people for even being considered as someone who would be asked to kill them, you know? in that sense, itachi must have seen everything as a lose-lose scenario and went with the option that wouldn’t hinder konoha that much and as such the “peace”

leaving the village is an interesting option. i feel like unless the uchiha clan find a secure place to hide (they do have those hideouts) that ultimately konoha is the safest bet for them at the moment but the possibility of even konoha being unsafe is very real with the threat of danzo. the fact that the elders even considered genocide shows the uchiha’s standing in konoha. hidden villages must have loads of safety measures in place to stop shit like kidnappings for bloodline limits (hinata’s kidnapping attempt was only possible to happen because of the treaty being signed) and state secrets, that i’m sure the uchiha clan have. in short, the uchiha are way too intergreted into the village’s foundations to simply leave without repercussions. it’s interesting because they aren’t actually intergreted into the village at all. i’m sure they don’t know that many actual secrets about the village. they aren’t trusted—tobirama mentions this. but if they ever decided to turn against konoha or join another village their insight into how konoha shinobi and clans work as previous comrades would be invaluable. essentially, the only way for the uchiha clan to survive if they decide to leave would be to go into hiding, really insane crazy genjutsu hiding (which i believe is possible with such a strong clan) in that case, then Yes, the uchiha clan leaving would work. but i think itachi’s of the belief that uchiha pride would prevent them from ever considering hiding. so i’m more inclined to agree with the second option B

But somehow the feel of hashirama so near, with her fingers combing through his lock longs to pull him closer, sends an electrifying zing right from where their lips met, Down to the tip of her toes and the feel of it is so overwhelming that she’s forced to pull back.

Here’s a few I can see 😁

Tobirama was very relieved that Aori doesn’t find his sternness off putting, it was a not so small concern of his when they first started talking.

Tobirama’s her first boyfriend so he’s going to get all her blushy-dorky moments

Including but not limited to her shaky voice asking if he wants to come to her place, not knowing how to kiss, ears blushing when they hold hands, etc..

But after Tobirama makes it clear he’s not judging her for that other things? Sometimes. He can’t help that part of him She relaxes quite a bit and starts showering him with love

Aori is going to hug him at least once a day just because. He just looks like he needs a good hug

He can be prickly all he wants. He’s still getting hugged and notes wishing him a good and successful day.

He is glad she can keep up with most of his ideologies and cares about his well being when it comes to work.

He’s not going to simply stop being a workaholic, but it’s touching that she cares so much. And he will try to get home early when he can.

Also enjoys when she joins him while doing paperwork. Most times she’s bring some sort of snack or lunch/dinner for them to share

They often spar with one another, to Aori it’s all fun and games, she doesn’t know he’s actually seriously assessing her skills each time

He’s so serious about her continuing to improve because he’s worried she might get a mission she won’t be able to come back from if she doesn’t. So he’s willing to push her to her limits.

Luckily for him, Aori doesn’t mind bumps, cuts, scrapes, and bruises. She just smiles and tells him she’ll get him next time

They have fishing dates (Aori’s idea) to catch fish for dinner

Aori will try to get him to join her for a swim too while they’re there

Both of them enjoy talking about their students. They can do that all day and probably have.

First time she introduced him to her cat, he was alarmed with how hefty and fluffy this creature truly was. Not a ninja tool in the least.

Tobirama lets Sasa join him on the couch where he will aimlessly pet him and play with his paws

If Tobirama is particularly “cranky” Aori knows to give him space, but she will make him so tea in hopes it will relax him a bit.

If he seems stressed Aori will have him lay his head in her lap while she massages his scalp, shoulders, and chest.

Probably will have him flip over so she can get his back too.

Unlike her sister, she can’t bake to save her life because she eyes her ingredients verses measuring them. BUT she’s a really good cook do you years of playing mom for Katsura and her brutal honesty

It’s the only thing outside of being a shinobi that she’s good at so she doesn’t mind cooking most of the meals they share.

Gets super bashful at the slightest compliment from him about her cooking.

Dinner dates with Hashirama are definitely a thing

Aori enjoys seeing the brothers chat and she double enjoys Mito’s divine company

First time Tobirama called her his woman in front of guest, Aori spent the rest of the night fighting a goofy smile

Tobirama isn’t the most romantic guy all the time but if he knows there’s something she wants, he’ll make sure to get it.

He can tell when Aori isn’t feeling well by how quiet she is. Not humming a little song, not striking up conversation?? He’s worried

Won’t say anything unless she’s feverish but he will be the one to make tea or try his best to get home early to check on her.

She also falls asleep on the floor quite a bit when she’s studying and Sasa usually sleeps right next to her face, practically on her head. It’s the most ridiculous and sort of endearing thing he’s seen.

Aori likes to fall asleep cuddling. Lowkey will pout if he doesn’t pull her into an embrace.

Tobirama likes the closeness too. Let’s him know she’s not mad at him and he can drift off to the soft scent of her.

They have hair maintenance days because they both are picky about their hair lengths. So they will trim the others hair at home.
