fucking thrips stupid idiot pests i hate them
#i didnt even know there were any on my monstera#my cat just stopped trying to eat it#and over one night these stupid pests do an incredible amount of damage#plant looked fine yesterday#today theres a bunch of very large brown spots :(#i can find empathy for mosquitoes#most things really#i kind of like aphids even though theyre a major pest#weevils too#bc at least aphids have an interesting way of reproducing#and weevils look funny#tbf i know nothing about thrips#other than that theyve killed an ungodly amount of plants in this house and are almost impossible to fully get rid of#if you have hundreds of plants like we do#and ik they like the heat#so ive been finding some around my plants lately#but never with a lot of a damage#so its fine i can deal with that#but this?#what the fuck#i officially hate them forever#mine

My dad paid for a tank and filter so that we could bring the three gold fish inside for the winter. They were like the size of a bottle cap when I bought them and they're now at least three times that size, it's wild.
#They were just feeder fish i bought for like 0.50$ each to deal with mosquito larva filling the giant pot my dad uses to hold his umbrella#honestly i expected them to get snatched up by a cat or bird or something or get some disease as pet store fish are wont to do#but theyre still kicking and ate all the larvae so they 'earned their keep' as my dad said#anyways its the law of our household that eventually we buy a fish tank#one of these days we will just put it in storage instead of getting rid of it

I’ll be honest I think I’m the only one who literally just does not like Lunar whatsoever I mean, I used to like Lunar. But the fandom ruined them for me. It’s always “poor bean!!!” “Lunar’s just a kid he doesn’t deserve this!” “He’s got trauma!” Lunar ain’t even a kid 😭 It’s just annoying tbh, the second anything remotely bad happens to Lunar, everyone takes their side. Like when Sun yelled at Lunar, suddenly Sun’s the bad guy. I’m sorry but what would you do if you were told you were acting like someone who really hurt you and many of your loved ones? heck I even see people sympathizing over evil lunar. I WENT TO PUT A DISH IN THE SINK AND A ROACH WAS CRAWLING OUT OF IT AND THEN I WALKED BY MY BOOKCASE ABD THERE WAS A FUCKING CRICKET!!!!!!!!!!! I CANNNOT FUCKING DO THIS!!!!!!!!

Ok. Those who live in climates where mosquitos reign 24/7, how the FUCK do I keep them from biting me?!!! I tried lemon soap. I tried Irish springs. I even got a dove soap that has rosemary in it, THEY KEEP COMING FOR MY ASS. And my diet is chock full of garlic, I’m of Haitian descent living in ghana, garlic is part of my DNA. So I don’t understand why my ass keep getting bit!!!!!!! I really need y’all help 😩
