My dad paid for a tank and filter so that we could bring the three gold fish inside for the winter. They were like the size of a bottle cap when I bought them and they're now at least three times that size, it's wild.

#They were just feeder fish i bought for like 0.50$ each to deal with mosquito larva filling the giant pot my dad uses to hold his umbrella #honestly i expected them to get snatched up by a cat or bird or something or get some disease as pet store fish are wont to do #but theyre still kicking and ate all the larvae so they 'earned their keep' as my dad said #anyways its the law of our household that eventually we buy a fish tank #one of these days we will just put it in storage instead of getting rid of it
