1. Matterhorn: Located on the border of Switzerland and Italy, the Matterhorn is a world-famous peak. For generations, visitors and mountaineers have been drawn to its unusual pyramid form and towering top. Whether seen from the lovely town of Zermatt or up close on a trek or cable car ride, the Matterhorn is a must-see destination in Switzerland.

3. Jungfrau: At 4,158 meters above sea level, the Jungfrau is one of the Swiss Alps' tallest peaks. The Jungfrau Railway, which travels through tunnels and emerges at the Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe," provides tourists with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. In addition, outdoor enthusiasts may explore hiking paths and ski slopes in the Jungfrau area.
4. Titlis: Located in the Uri Alps, Mount Titlis offers year-round snow and ice, making it a popular winter sports destination. Visitors may ride the spinning Rotair cable car to the summit, which offers amazing views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Europe's tallest suspension bridge, the Titlis Cliff Walk, offers stunning vistas and an adrenaline-pumping experience.
5. Pilatus: Mount Pilatus, often known as the "Dragon Mountain," offers stunning views of Lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. Legend has it that dragons once lived atop the mountain, contributing to its magical charm.
6. Schilthorn: The Schilthorn, made famous by the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," provides panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. Visitors may enjoy amazing perspectives from the spinning Piz Gloria restaurant and explore hiking routes with stunning alpine landscapes, which are accessible by cable car from Mürren hamlet.
7. Monte Rosa: Located on the boundary of Switzerland and Italy, Monte Rosa is the second-highest summit in the Alps. Visitors may explore the scenic mountain communities of Zermatt and Saas-Fee or join guided treks to reach the peak of Monte Rosa.
8. Dufourspitze: Dufourspitze is Switzerland's highest peak, reaching 4,634 meters above sea level. Located in the Monte Rosa range, this massive summit provides stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Climbers can try the difficult ascent to the peak, while less experienced tourists can admire the breathtaking view from the comfort of mountain lodges and hiking routes.
9. Piz Bernina: Located in the Eastern Alps, Piz Bernina is the highest summit in the Bernina Range and the only one above 4,000 meters. Its remarkable beauty and easily accessible paths make it a popular choice for mountaineers and hikers. Easter Break!
Terkacau leg terakhir perjalanan sih. 17 jam. My poor butt.
Pertama kali nyampe di Zurich, kita langsung menuju mesin tiket buat beli tiket kereta pp Zurich - Engelberg dan MAHALLL BGGTTT AMPUN jadi Widya salah cek di website, dia lihatnya pp 33 euro tapi ternyata itu adalah half-fare. Harga aslinya adalah 70 euro. Huks. Dilanjut beli tiket pp cable car sampe Mt. Titlis 50 euro.
Hadu tapi gunung memang sangatlah majestic. Naik cable car sampe puncak, lanjut naik Rotair, nyobain ice flyer dan cliff walk lalu turun lagi untuk nyobain tubing. Last cable car turunnya adalah jam 5 sore.
Ok I’m ready to face Quarter 4!!

This was a day in the mountains for us. We started at Stanserhorn with a trip up a cogwheel train and a double decker open cable car to over 6,000 feet, which was in the clouds during the morning when we were there. Then we travelled to Engelberg to go up 10,000 feet to Mount Titlis. We rode a cable car and the rotating “Rotair”to the top, where we enjoyed great views and even walked (briefly) on the overhanging cliff walk.

Destination Management Company in Switzerland
Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederation, is located at the centre of Europe and is a country of historic towns, Mediterranean coastal landscapes, shimmering lakes, alpine mountain regions, business hubs, delicious chocolate, incredible beer, and friendly, welcoming people with four different languages – German, French, Italian and Romansh. Switzerland is intrinsically more culturally diverse than perhaps any other European country.
No matter what time of year your client want to visit, the Country always rocks.
What to See?
Chapel Bridge (Lucerne)
700-year-old bridge situated on river Reuss is the most photographed subject in Lucerne. The 14th century Chapel Bridge is famous for the painted roof panels that depict the most important events from Swiss history. This is an interesting art gallery.
Mt. Pilatus (Lucerne)
Maker of weather, dragon’s lair, home to giants and grave of rulers: Lucerne’s very own mountain,Pilatus, is one of the most legendary places in Central Switzerland.
Mt. Rigi (Lucerne)
Nicknamed the “Queen of the Mountains,”, Encircled by a trio of lakes—Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug, and Lake Lauerz—and adjacent to the neighboring peaks of Mount Pilatus and Brunnistock, Mount Rigi is the enduring postcard star of Central Switzerland.
Mt. Titlis (Engelberg)

Suggest your client to take the famous Bernina Express, known for its panoramic view windows and slow speed, so that they can make the most of this sightseeing.

New cable car to the Matterhorn at the start | DW Travel | DW
In the world of cable cars, Switzerland is a good address. After the world’s first rotating cableway “Titlis Rotair”, whose gondola rotates 360 degrees during the ride, the “Matterhorn Glacier Ride” cableway is now back at the start with a technical speciality, the three-cable circulating technology (3S). This should make the cable car particularly fast, safe and comfortable.
Visualization Matterhorn Glacier Ride mountain station in 3,883 meters
The route runs at a maximum height of 198 metres over only three supports, the furthest of which are 2,732 metres apart. The 25 cabins, each with 28 heated seats, are barrier-free. The design was created by the studio Pininfarina. Some cabins are even decorated with crystals from the famous Swarowski company.
A “Crystal Ride” cabin
At 4,478 meters (14,692 ft), the Matterhorn is one of the highest mountains in the Alps. Its striking shape and freestanding position make it a popular photo motif. It was climbed for the first time on 14th July 1865. Thus, the Matterhorn was the last famous 4,000m peak in the Alps that had not yet been conquered. The most famous ascent route is the Hörnligrat.

Thank You, Secretary Kim.
Be with someone who doesn’t feel weird with your weirdness.
Lonely Traveler
Free like a bird! bebas mau jungkir balik, naik gunung, tidur, ngemol, makan junk food, semua bisa kamu lakukan sesukamu. Mulai dari pertanyaan simple seperti ‘Where do you come from?’ or something they wear like ‘Hey! what a nice Mickey Mouse Jacket. Where did you buy it?’ or something that makes them tell a story like ‘What’s the coolest thing you have seen so far in here?’
Never judge someone, don’t compare your Chapter 10 to someone else’s Chapter 1. So, be happy and keep on traveling, because good things happen to those who book flights! Berani, Berangkat, Pulang, Ketagihan, Repeat!
We were enchanted by the scenic valleys and snowcapped mountains
When we arrived, we were greeted by a pure fresh mountain air.Bluish mountain, palm trees, and a cute houses on the background are all marvellous!
It’s like a classic Disney fairy tale. For me, it’s more like a scene in The Witcher 3 game
Mount Titlis Cable Car
Tapi kalo dinginnya hardcore kaya gini, lumayan bikin tangan ga beku.
The view of Engelberg city as we ascended via the cable car. Wonderful scenery with snow covered-roofs
‘Let it go, let it go. Can’t hold it back anymore. Let it go, let it go. Turn away and slam the door. I don’t care what they’re going to say. Let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway’
Charming views where we took a cable car to the mountain top. The landscape was full of white snow and traces of dry trees
The Rotair – a revolving cable car. The world’s first rotating gondola. As you’re moving upward, the entire floor slowly rotates in a circle, giving you a 360 degree view. The final ride before you reach the peak of Mount Titlis
The Rotair – a revolving cable car.
Snow Paradise. Nothing can be more beautiful than this, right?
What’s Mount Titlis’s weather like in December?
Mount Titlis hanya mengenal satu musim sepanjang tahun, yaitu musim dingin.
I love it when the day is sunny, the sky and snow look clear as crystal
Europe’s highest suspension bridge that scary enough when the wind blows. It’s 3,041 metres above sea level and 500 metres off the ground
Mount Titlis Cliff Walk and Suspension Bridge
As i looked down at the thick snow cover, i felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. Just like what Elsa said “The cold never bother me anyway”
Di ujung jembatan gantung, saya menyaksikan panorama tertinggi pegunungan Alpen. I felt like on the top of the world!
I travel so i can experience the spectacular!
Switzerland is simply heaven on earth, every corner is extraordinary beautiful
Glacier Cave
Sub-Zero, where are you?
An ice cave where you can walk through a tunnel with the walls of the cave being made of ice
We’re not doing the ski activities but we enjoyed watching the locals skiing along the high mountain. Next time, i would love to try
Mount Titlis, 3020 Metres and 10,000 Feet above sea level
Everything was covered in white flakes, everyone happily play outside
Lindt Chocolate. Master Swiss Chocolatier since 1845
Pengalaman pertama selalu bikin deg-degan, setelah mensetubuhinya, kemudian saya menggenggam salju. Rasanya persis kaya es serut yang mengeras. Disini saya melihat banyak orang belajar bermain ski. Karena keterbatasan waktu ikut tur, saya ga sempat nyobain main prosotan pake papan ini. Maybe next time!
This is what happen when Jones meet snow. Snow hug, Happily ever after
Saya pun minta tolong mereka buat motretin. Kemudian saya berpose tidur tengkurap tanpa rasa malu, pura pura memeluk dan mencium salju, bercinta tanpa akal.
‘Cekrik’
‘Udah belom?’ tanya saya seperti anak kecil yang sedang main petak umpet.
‘Belom, tar… sekali lagi’ Jawab Kei.
‘Crash!’ punggung saya kena timpuk salju.
‘Woi…. ‘ teriak saya sewot. Sambil bangun membalikkan badan.
Yak, saya memang profesional kalo nyuruh orang fotoin. Setelah selesai foto, ga terima ditimpukin, saya membentuk bola salju dan membalas menimpuk mereka. Kamipun saling membalas lempar lemparan salju. Masa dewasa kami terlihat begitu bahagia.
Sliding from the top like a snail. Stuck in my butt. That was fun! #titlis #mounttitlis #switzerland #igers #igdaily #video #fun

It didn’t matter that the temperature was 9 degrees below freezing point. What mattered was the beautiful view from the top while holding this ❄️
At 10,000 feet above the ground, the view was spectacular and mesmerizing. I had never experienced anything like this
The stunning view of the snow-covered mountains. Everything just white and blue
Switzerland’s loftiest peak. Freezing beauty!
We spent some time playing on the snow and taking pictures of the breathtaking sceneries
Cutout poster of popular Bollywood actors from Bollywood that shooted in here
Covering an altitude difference of 2,000 metres from the glacier to the village down below, this mountain is the perfect destination for snowboarders
We spotted some skiers racing downhill leaving behind crisscrossing trails on the slopes of the mountain
The views from cable car ride coming up and going down here were fantastic
What’s cooler than being cool? Froze
Pegunungan yang puncaknya tertutup salju, perbukitan hijau yang luas nan cantik. Dreamy other world with Mother of nature as the main character.
Parking Car with a view
When the snow loves the trees
This is what happen after Doo Min Joon stops the time, kiss Cheon Song Yi and let her go, he is “baper” and became Ice Prince statue
Melihat dataran salju begini, membuat saya kena demam merebah.
I took thousands of pictures. I really like my travel posts to be story-telling like, to make you feel like you were there if possible

This is the first time I see snow in my life! Mendadak saya menjadi anak kecil lagi. I fell in love like ‘yesterday afternoon child’ alias anak kemarin sore!
“If you have done it right, being adult is more fun than being a child. Especially being adult that act like a child in the snow paradise”

Mt.Titlis , Engelberg
As the train from Lucerne chugged along the long dark tunnel in what seemed to be a final one - S hinted that the view on the other end would be a stunning one. And boy, was it true or what.. There was light and snow and a fairy-tale style chalet-filled town at the other end of the tunnel. That resulted in the best exhilarating collective sigh that I ever witnessed and was a part of. I have seen people going awestruck many times but this one will always be special.. We were in Engelberg after all - the home to Mt.Titlis, often called as a glacier that boasts permanent ice and snow all through the year no matter what the season is.
Even though it was late November , on Day 2 of our swiss trip - we were blessed with a superb day. So we decided it should Mt.Titlis day:
Views from the ascent in the cable car:
And there were many skiers making the most out of the powdery paths:
Mt.Titlis summit can be reached via an excellent cable car system. The first cable car takes you half way up. More skiers as seen from the cable car #1:
Mt.Titlis is also famous for the worlds first rotating cable car. Simply called “Rotair”- this is the second cable car that one takes to reach the summit. And as you stand in , Rotair slowly rotates in its ascent offering more world class views:
SRK may live 4000 miles away and DDLJ might be more than two decades old but this standee proves what the movie did to Switzerland Tourism.. SRK and this movie are synonymous to Switzerland. As a result of which you would see hordes of Indians where ever you go in Switzerland. Indian food is quite common too.
A DDLJ standee at the top of the summit:
The beauty of Switzerland is that even a 90 year old can go up to Mt.Titlis without sweating even a bit. I remember eons ago to visit places like Auli and Gurudongmar what I had to endure. If you compare India in terms of infrastructure with Switzerland , it feels like India may be light years away to build something like Mt. Titlis ..
Once you are at the summit , you would have 360* views of the Alps:
To satiate the kid in you, there are multiple activities on Mt. Titlis. We roamed up and down the hill in a Chairlift Ice flyer:
We also did a dangerously swinging Cliff Walk and the further you walk away from the summit station the better the views get:
All that heavy clothing and walking made us hungry by noon. And we opted for an all you can eat style Indian buffet.. The lengths were serpentine and we spent a good 2 hours to queue and eat up. Something that you can only afford if you are not on a time bound package style trip. Needless to say, it was the most scenic lunch we ever had..
Skiers relax on that bright November sunny day in Engelberg:
Post Lunch, we did a bit more of mountain walking and experienced the Glacier Cave. It baffles me till date thinking how could they have pulled it off. Glacier Cave is technically a nicely carved walkway deep in the mountain.. A freezed flower bunch as seen in the Glacier cave:
We also chilled in the warm panoramic lounge offering more views. Pulling your feet up with a cuppa in that lounge (as done by some one here) adds perspective to the phrase : “World at your feet”
We played with the snow, built snowman's and had fun until we were dead tired to take the cable car down.
The cable cars vanish into a thick cloud before descending back:
The ever efficient Swiss transport system meant exactly an hour later, we were at the hotel. We ended the day with a superb Swiss Dinner in the hotel we stayed.
As the days pass and I reminisce , I realise that up above the clouds those Sun drenched Alps exist in a different world all together..
