In any case, here's another one, and this one definitely has that unsettling sense of some creepy or forbidden world just beneath the veneer of our own reality. What is... happening. I knew this movie well from the many gifs I've seen of key scenes featuring that guy with the drill guitar, but that stuff doesn't even happen until 85% of the way into the movie. In other words, it's mostly Slumber Party before it gets to Massacre, and it's also a musical, and it's all nonsensical but it still works.

Some fun stuff happened for this week. The community did its best to rally around poor Nick Jackson. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to get him over the 50% smash mark. However, he received the sixth most votes out of all the polls so far. He just also received the second most pass votes out of all the polls (second only to Vince McMahon back in week 2). Meanwhile, Matt received the ninth most total votes, but he came in at 59.2% smash.

The apple fell pretty far from the tree for nepo baby Charlie Dempsey. For those who aren't aware, he's William Regal's son. William Regal's vote was 65.6% smash, while Charlie Dempsey's result was 22.1% smash. Maybe he'll grow up and get more smashable over time. These polls do seem to trend toward Sexualizing That Old Man. Someday I'm gonna use this data to make some charts, and one of them is gonna be wrestler age vs smash rating.

September 10, 2009 Atlanta's Police Vice Squad and paramilitary 'Red Dog' unit illegally raided the Atlanta Eagle Bar

Settlements from lawsuits filed by victims of the raid reached over 1 million.

Per a court order, the APD created a one-hour training video which all officers have to watch and answer an accompanying set of questions.

The 'Red Dog Unit' was disbanded and replaced with another unit — currently named 'Titan'.

The Titan Unit "will have to be more aggressive," Police Chief Rodney Bryant told a House committee. But, Bryant also assured lawmakers "in no way" would it "replace what Red Dog was." — 2021

'Red Dog' was at one point was led by Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn "C.J." Davis, who then created the 'Scorpion Unit' in Memphis — the 'Scorpion Unit' subsequently responsible for the murder of Tyre Nichols.
