Salman Khan is coming back with the third installment of the Tiger franchise sooner than you expected. PeepingMoon.com has learned that the Bhai Jaan, who is preparing for the release of his actioner Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai this Eid, will start shooting for Yash Raj Films’ much-anticipated Tiger 3 right after his Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali next year.

The superstar was earlier supposed to do Kick 2 after the Farhad Samji directorial. But that has again been postponed due to no script being in place. Making way for Ek Tha Tiger’s second sequel. According to sources, Aditya Chopra has locked the basic plot and is currently developing the script that takes the franchise forward exactly from the point Tiger Zinda Hai ended.

The third installment is said to be the last of the series and will be filmed on an even more bigger scale than the previous parts. Katrina Kaif, who plays ISI agent Zoya in the series, is expected to be back again to join hands with Tiger on a new deadly mission.

However, Ali Abbas Zafar who helmed Tiger Zinda Hai will not be directing this episode. Sources claim that Ali decided to opt out of Tiger 3 as he would be busy with his recently announced Mr. India trilogy from November. The makers are now on the hunt for a director. YRF is believed to be in talks with Kabir Khan who directed the first Tiger film to end the series on a high note. Kabir hasn’t given his nod as things stand today but is likely to come on board.

YRF plans to roll the film from February next year and release it during Christmas weekend 2021. Salman is believed to have already given his dates and is excited to explore his much-loved character once more.

The actor who is shooting the last schedule of Prabhu Deva’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will shift to Abhiraj Minawala’s Mulshi Pattern remake where he plays an honest, upright, no-nonsense Sikh cop on a mission against Aayush Sharma’s dreaded Jat gangster. Salman is believed to be playing an extended cameo and will shoot for only 25-30 days. His Eid 2021 offering Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali where he plays a happy-go-lucky character will go on floors by August-end or early September.

Race-3: Will Salman Khan's Movie Make 150 Crore In A Week?

New Delhi: Salman Khan's Race 3 continues to perform well at the box office. It is expected to cross the 150 crore-mark by the end of first week. On wednesday, the film earned Rs. 9.25 crore, making the grand total to Rs. 142.01 as per the reports of business analyst and Censor Board advisory member Atul Mohan. The film earned rs 100 crore within 3 days. Atul Mohan tweeted, "Race mints Rs. 9.25 crore on Day 6, which was a working Wednesday. In just 6 days, the film has collected a total of Rs. 142.01 crore, looking to cross 150 within a week."

Race 3 have continued to do well at the box office. But a drop in collection was seen on Tuesday (Rs. 12.05 crore), but Wednesday witnessed a "normal weekday drop," Box Office India reported.

The film made 77 crore over the weekend. This is Salman's fourth entry to make it to 100 crore club within three days. Other films to feature on the list include, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Race 3 ranks second on the list also made to the top five opening weekend list of 2018 while Deepika Padukone's "Padmaavat"is the chart topper.

Saibal Chatterjee, in his film review for NDTV said, "Directed by Remo D'Souza, Race 3 is a dance of dunces that hits a convoluted track from the moment it kicks off. The game has too many players and not enough rules to keep them sane. It is about the family of an unscrupulous global arms dealer, Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor). They embark on a mission to rob a hard disk from the high-security vault of a Cambodian bank with the intention of blackmailing Indian politicians caught in a prostitution ring."

Tiger Zinda Hai Review – Bollywood Hungama

The festive season and the year-end is around the corner and it’s usually a time when a big, event film hits the theatres. This year it’s the turn of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer TIGER ZINDA HAI and it has a lot of factors going in its favour. Apart from being the sequel of the blockbuster EK THA TIGER [2012], the film boasts of an excellent star cast, slick, action-packed trailer and chartbuster music. So does the year end on a high with TIGER ZINDA HAI? Or does the film disappoint? Let’s analyse.

TIGER ZINDA HAI is the story of an Indian and Pakistani spy coming together for a greater cause. Tiger (Salman Khan) and Zoya (Katrina Kaif) escape from the clutches of ISI and RAW and then they start living an idyllic life somewhere in the snow-covered ranges of Europe. Meanwhile in Ikrit, Iraq, Abu Usman (Sajjad Delafrooz) emerges as the head of ISC which turns into the world’s richest and the most dangerous terrorist organization. The Americans are angry and they launch an attack on Abu and his convoy, and it injures Abu. At the same time, a group of 40 nurses – 25 Indian and 15 Pakistani – are heading to the hospital where they work. Abu’s men force the nurses to take an injured Abu with them for immediate treatment. They also take over the hospital and keep the nurses as hostage. The Americans then decide to launch an airstrike on the hospital within 7 days. Hence, the Indians have just a week to rescue the nurses. Infiltrating into the high security ISC region is next to impossible. The senior officer of RAW, Shenoy (Girish Karnad) suggests that Tiger should be called in as he’s the only one who can successfully complete this mission. Tiger is found and he takes up the job. How Tiger manages to infiltrate the ISC area and rescue the nurses forms the rest of the film.

TIGER ZINDA HAI begins on an engaging note with the sequence of James Forward (Tyler Gowardhan). It very well establishes the terror unleashed by Abu Usman. Tiger’s entry as expected is clapworthy and will be greeted with seetis and taalis. The entire wolf sequence is akin to international standards and it truly makes you feel that Hindi cinema has indeed come of age. An unexpected bit in the film is of the marital problems faced by Tiger and Zoya. Of course, the fun enhances once Tiger reaches Iraq and makes a plan to get to the hospital. The introduction of Firdaus (Paresh Rawal) adds to the fun. The market sequence before the intermission point is quite extended but also highly entertaining. The fun continues in the second half but the pace drops a bit here. Also, the film gets a bit unconvincing which could have been avoided. Tiger and his team didn’t seem that injured that they had to be rushed to the hospital – they could have been easily treated in the refinery itself. Perhaps the makers should have shown them extremely wounded maybe. Moreover, the manner in which Zoya and Firdous convince the Americans to side with them and also Zoya commanding the Americans is difficult to digest. The narrative gets scattered in the middle, however the film picks pace in the last 30 minutes. But thankfully, the positive outweigh the negatives easily. The climax is again quite lengthy but it’s brilliantly done and gives audiences their money’s worth.

Neelesh Misra and Ali Abbas Zafar’s story is a great blend of emotions, action, romance, humour and also patriotism. At the same time, it serves as a nice, organic sequel to EK THA TIGER and that’s definitely praiseworthy. Ali Abbas Zafar’s screenplay is highly engaging. Ali Abbas Zafar’s dialogues are simple but highly effective. The English dialogues are used at a lot of places but again, these are simple ones and the scenes are scripted and directed in such a way that even if one doesn’t understand English well or reads the subtitles, one can still comprehend what’s going on. Ali Abbas Zafar’s direction has a mass appeal and at the same time, he ensures that the film looks like a class product. He establishes the world and characters in no time and gets going with the story instantly. The romantic bit between Tiger and Zoya is also well depicted. One of the most interesting aspects is the entire India-Pakistan angle and it’s sure to leave audiences smiling and even in tears at some places. A very brilliant message of peace is given in this flick and that’s sure to be appreciated!

Talking of performances, Salman Khan delivers a terrific performance yet again. Salman is the lifeline, the real treasure of Tiger Zinda Hai. He sinks his teeth into the character and, in several sequences, peels off the mask of superstardom and brings the actor to the fore. At many places, he underplays his part which goes very well with his spy act. Also, his interaction with his family is a delight to watch. Salman disappointed audiences in TUBELIGHT but in TIGER ZINDA HAI, he compensates for it very well and audiences are sure to enjoy his performance. Katrina Kaif thankfully is not an arm candy. She has a very crucial part and even she gets to be a part of clapworthy action scenes! She looks like a million bucks in the song ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ and also seems quite cool in the action avatar. Sajjad Delafrooz pitches in a remarkable performance and plays his villainous part very well. The film would not have been half as successful if he had given a shaky performance. His face, body language and poise give a clear message that he means business. Watch his confrontations with Salman – the good versus evil clash is truly brilliant. Paresh Rawal is terrific and he’s sure to be remembered for a long time for his performance. He also contributes to the laughter quotient. Angad Bedi (Navin) is fine and shows his worth in the climax scene. Kumud Mishra (Rakesh) essays an interesting character with élan. Paresh Pahuja (Azaan Akbar) leaves a mark despite lesser screen time. Child actors Jineet Rath (Hassan) and Sartaaj Kakkar (Junior) have important parts to play and do very well. Girish Karnad is as usual while Anant Vidhaat (Karan), who did a good job in SULTAN, gives a credible performance. Anupriya Goenkar (Poorna) gets the most scope among the nurses and she shines. The rest of the characters do a fine job.

Tiger Zinda Hai has several strengths: An engaging storyline as well as an enthralling screenplay that’s powered with clap-trap dialogue.

Vishal-Shekhar’s music is melodious and well woven into the script. ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ is very sweet and endearing. ‘Tera Noor’ is the best picturized song of the film and it’s great that such a song is used in such a contrasting situation. ‘Swag Se Swagat’ is a chartbuster and played in the end credits. ‘Zinda Hai’ and ‘Daata Tu’ are missing from the film but no complaints! Julius Packiam’s background score is dramatic and exhilarating and raises the tempo of the film.

Marcin Laskawiec’s cinematography is captivating and gives the film an international feel. Rameshwar S Bhagat’s editing is simple and at places, slick. Tom Struthers’s action is not too gory and would be loved by the masses. Rajnish Hedao’s production design is very authentic. Same goes for YFX’s VFX (Yash Raj Films‘ VFX department) – it will serve as a benchmark for Indian films from now on! Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Ashley Rebello and Leepakshi Ellawadi’s costumes are also quite real and very well researched.

On the whole, TIGER ZINDA HAI is a high-octane masala entertainer that stays true to its genre and delivers what it promises: King-sized entertainment. At the box office, the audiences will give the film an epic ‘swagat’ as it is bound to entertain them thoroughly. This one is a SURE SHOT BLOCKBUSTER and nothing can stop it from setting new records. Get ready for the Tsunami at the Box Office.

The first quarter of 2018 has passed; the Bollywood film industry has given a solid foundation. Some of the films released and have done a very good business at the box office and have kept the flame of hope in the heart of the filmmakers that the good days will definitely come this year.

With the release of top Bollywood movie Padmaavat early this year in Bollywood, it was realized that the month may be cold, but the box office will be hot. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor played main roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Magnum Opus. The three actors of these three are the first entry in the 300 clubs. What could be a great start for trade as well? Although the previously released films Mukkabaaz, 1921 and Kaalakaandi did not go, Padmaavat completed all the shortcomings.

In the second month of the year, Padman, Aiyaary and Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety were released. Directed by R. Balki, where the menstrual cycle was brought to the center of discussion, the film did well at the box office. Padman, released on 9th February, was a hit by 78.95 crores. Though Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary did not happen even after Siddharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpai, but  Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety kept the shame of February. The film, released on February 23, has not yet accumulated a star face, yet it has deposited more than 107 crores. Given its budget and cost, this super hit is being reported.

In the last month of the first trimester, viewers saw a picture of good stories and balanced filmmaking. Ajay Raj Gupta directed Red and Rani Mukherjee Siddharth P Malhotra directed hiccups are kept busy at the box office with the time to speak of the importance of content. The red released on March 16, till March 30, where 91.93 crores collection is going on to 100 crores club, the hiking on March 23 has reached 28.50 crores by March 30. The film had deposited 254.50 million by December 31, 2017. Overall, the first quarter of 2018 has been better than 2017.

Is Salman Khan and Remo D’Souza’s dance film being revived?

Salman Khan is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Race 3’ which is being directed by Remo D’Souza. But, before ‘Race 3’, Remo and Salman were all set to collaborate for a dance movie which also starred Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah. Reportedly, in the movie Salman was going to play a father of a teenager, who was going to learn dancing for his child.

Well, last year in an interview with us, Remo had also confirmed that he would start shooting for the film this year (2017). However, then we didn’t hear any development about the movie and it was delayed.

However, just few days ago, T-Series announced that they are collaborating with Remo D’Souza for a big dance film which will star A-list actors.

The makers have decided to take a 10-year leap in the story and will retain the film’s previous star cast which comprised of Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin.

The movie just beat the lifetime Collection of PK by 0.5 crores and missed the lifetime total of Tiger Zinda Hai by 1.5 crores at the domestic market. Well, beating PK and missing the collection of Tiger Zinda Hai is just a luck factor as all the three movie's collections have a margin of 1-3 crores. So you can not analyse why the movie collected 1 cr. less or more than other when the collections are huge like 300 crores plus. But the movie missed the first spot in the list of Biggest grosser of all time by a huge margin of almost 40 crores. Dangal collected 375 crores nett in India alone. What might be the reason to miss the lifetime collection of Dangal despite falling everything in the right place? The hype of the movie was unprecedented, the trailer created an unbelievable curiosity among the Indian audience as it had some catchy dialogues which were also true as it is based on the life of Sanjay Dutt. As per analysis on social media, the dialogue of "Sanju had more than 300 girlfriends in his lifetime" was the most discussed dialogue among the Indian audience. The opening of the movie was superb and the reviews were also positive. When the movie opened with a bang and sustained well in its first week, trade experts were expecting to cross not even Dangal but also the mark of 400 crores at the domestic market. Then what went wrong with the movie? Here are some reasons which made this Raju Hirani movie the third biggest grosser of all time in spite of the biggest grosser of all time.

Sanju Sixth Sunday Collection The Third Biggest Grosser Of All Time in 38 Days Non Holiday period- All the top grosser whether its Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajarangi Bhaijaan or Sultan got the holiday release. The first two were Christmas release and the last two were EID release. But Sanju released in a non-holiday period. The movie did not get an extra holiday except Sunday which affected the business of movie at least 20-30 crores nett. EID is a big festival in India and four to five extra holidays the movie used to get in its initial run at the box office. Sanju which collected 200 crores in its first week had chances to collect 220 crores plus first week. As it beat Sultan and Dangal first three days collection by a margin of 7-12 crores nett without any holiday. So there were high chances if the movie would have been got holiday release, it had the potential to cross 220-225 crores nett in its first week which itself enough for the movie to come close to the business of Dangal. The Second Half of the movie Well, the second half of the movie especially the last 20-25 minutes are very weak. It affected the movie in long run. The negative review To whitewash the image of Sanjay Dutt Sanju got the negative review to whitewash the image of Sanju. In almost every scene where Sanju is doing mistakes, a reason has been specified in which Sanju is portrayed as a victim. It did not receive well by a certain type of audience especially people who not only discuss but judge the movies after watching it. Almost every critic mentioned in their review which was not effective enough in the initial run as the hype of the movie was unprecedented but it proved to be a negative point in the long run.

Sanju which slows down in the third week itself affected by Dhadak badly. The audience got an alternative to Sanju. Dhadak snatched the business at domestic market for two weeks. Lack of Repeat value When you consider all the weakness of the movie, it always affects the repeat value. The most of the audience which comes to the cinema in the fourth, fifth or six weeks is the repeated audience for the movie. The movie which does not have any repeat value used to finish their business at the end of the second or third week. So lack of repeat value affected the business of Sanju from the third week onwards otherwise Sanju crossed 300 crores marks in the third weekend itself. The movie collected only 25 crores after the third week which clearly shows the lack of repeat value for the movie.
