An interesting thing I've noticed is that now, if you say you grew up going to Disney parks/liking Disney, there's this assumption that you grew up super wealthy. Like, no, my parents weren't rich, Disney parks just used to have more reasonable ticket prices (also, if you lived locally there were chances you knew an employee who could get you entry)

do you think the low attendances are attributed to higher ticket prices? or the popularity of the men is overshadowing the women? surely we should be filling it up after the success of last season!
you would think it would be the reverse situation, but it's been a steady drop off in attendances, with the last two home matches being less than 4.000 fans.
a few things:
yes, high ticket prices are contributing to it. also, match times in the middle of the day aren't popular, as the fans prefer the evening matches.
it was coincidental that the men's team weren't doing as well when the women's team became popular, but fans aren't really filling montjuïc either. last year, the average attendance of montjuïc (much smaller than camp nou) was only 80% because of location and price too. yes, this year the men's team is doing better. and with the economy as bad as it is, there are fans that may make the decision to cut down on expenses too and/or only choose to spend on the men's team now.
barça as a club has been doing the bare minimum when it comes to marketing and community outreach. we just have not been taking advantage of the fact that we are the back to back champions league winners, have most of the world cup winning roster on our team, and have two of the ballon d'or winners.
so anyway, i think there's things out of our control (the economy) but things in our control (marketing, outreach efforts, setting tickets prices), and we need to be more aware of how external factors are playing into fan mhtchday attendance. 🙏

well, i wouldn't go that far. the men's team have supported the women for events like the ballon d'or and the supercopa victory. so overall, i feel like we do a lot of things collectively with the men and women's team. sure, it could be better.
but we are miles ahead of other top clubs in europe in terms of integration with the men and women.
the barça one to one series is just one example of that.

The new tour is making the black parade a dictators national band, right? What if the outrageous ticket prices have something to do with that (bcz dictators are mean)

Broadway ticket prices (and why they're more and more outrageously priced)
When a trip to NYC to see a show costs roughly the same as a trip to Europe, there's something wrong.

honestly i'd tolerate the high prices for f1 tickets if it happened to be a junior series weekend. like yeah, i'm willing to pay more if i get to spend the day watching the entire ladder of motorsport. like idk how much spain's tickets are this year, but it seems like a good price to see F1, F2, F3, and F1 Aca all at once
like japan doesn't host any junior series, so that's the perfect price imo, but for something like las vegas???? where there are no support series and it's basically one big show with a side of racing? the show's nice i guess, but i'm here for the racing

To purchase 2 LTour tickets in my country cost me to work 1 whole month. The salaries are not equal in all countries.
oh my anon that’s mad! 🥺 and no they’re not , not at all I know. I would hope ticket prices are somewhat adjusted to compensate that.. but in some locations it might be difficult to keep prices down because the costs of putting on a tour is significantly higher in some places compared to others.
I’ve talked about this before when the first asian tour got cancelled; touring in both asia and latam is a lot more logistically challenging than touring in europe and the US where you can get pretty much everywhere on a tour bus. for the first latam tour louis and his team travelled on a private jet between every show. and because there was never more than two to zero days between shows all the gear and stage setup would likely have to travel by air too. whereas in europe and the US everything travelled on trucks which isn’t as cost heavy. add to that the expense of flying a 50-something people crew halfway across the globe + hotels (as opposed to sleeping on a bus most nights), venue hire, visas etc etc.
and when you then add how all those things have become increasingly more costly in the past couple of years.. I think that’s what we’re seeing with louis not being able to tour in asia for a while now ☹️

"Madonna charges $50 a ticket?” *flabbergasted*
...but seriously how do kids afford concert tickets these days??? Lots of young people go to these incredibly expensive concerts and they can’t all have rich parents right?

Inside Elgin Cathedral - Is it worth the money?
We visited the beautiful historic ruins of Elgin Cathedral, built in 1224, to see if it was worth a look around! We'd never been before so it was all a new experience. I loved the stone carvings - incredible! I didn't enjoy the spiral staircases however - not anyone's fault, but they were very hard to walk up and down! Hope you enjoy this look around! 😀

I wonder if Jack’s doing this.

It would explain why his resale tickets are so ridiculous and why the promoters keep giving him presents.
