I'm not sure how much of it was intentional, but I'm still very amused by TLOVM including a red dragonborn mage from Draconia whose main problems are:

She resents Kima and Allura being together, because she wanted a relationship with one of them

She felt entitled to the spotlight and couldn't stand it when her party members got it instead

She failed to communicate effectively with any of her friends

And then Vorugal stomps her to death with his talons.

I'm eight episodes into Critical Role. So far my favorite bit is whenever Vox Machina starts making a pretty simple and well-thought-out plan, but then someone (usually Scanlan or Keyleth) will add a tiny detail that derails into something absolutely absurd. Like Keyleth turning into a giant scorpion so Tiberius can mount on her and together they can pretend to be a god.

Don't know if it's a trend of this group, but I love it!

Keyleth & Tiberius: arrested for illegally using magic and bribing/lying to officials about it

Vex: flashed the entire crowd on a poorly thought out attempt to inspire Grog (while Vax flips his shit behind her)

Scanlan: lost money because he bet against his friend but then helped him win the fight

Percy: quadrupled his money and was generally the only well-mannered one

Grog: fishing around the arena for his missing upper lip so the clerics can fucking reattach it to his face

Have I mentioned that I adore this group of chaotic bastards? Because I really fucking do.

Grog: Scanlan told me that people put it in hot water to speed up the tea-ification process and I didn't know there was an actual reason.

Vex: *Looking at Scanlan* You don't have the patience to ask Tiberius to hold your cup for an hour?

Scanlan: Why are you using Tiberius to boil your tea?

Vex: Do you think I have the patience to boil water in a pot on a campfire?

Vax: It takes less than a minute!

Vex: Brother, do you think a campfire has the power of the sun?

Vax: How long does it take to boil a pot of water on a campfire?

Vex: Like seven minutes.

Vax: Just put your mug of water in the pot. It boils in like two minutes. Less than that if Tiberius already held it for a minute.

Vex: You're putting the mug in the pot? Is your mug enchanted?

Percy: Every single person sitting here beside myself and Tiberius are lunatics.

Tiberius: Do none of you own kettles?!

DnD

So BG3 really got me into DnD and I recently started watching critical roll (I'll get to the show next). But all I could think of was Astarion meeting Vex and Vax and how much havoc they would wage on the world.

Like Vex and Vax would help kill Cazador as long as they get to take what they want out of the castle. Also they bond over their mutual issues with their "father" figures.

Trinket is at camp bonding with Halsin.

I also think that Gale would either talk to Tiberius or Percy. Gale definitely info dumps/shares with Tiberius.

Tav is just happy to collect more friends.

Me, watching Campaign 1 after watching Campaign 2 first, watching Grog flirt with Lady Kima and Tiberius flirt with Allura:

Currently watching through Critical Role Campaign 1 for the first time and just finished episode 64, which ends with Vox Machina finding Tiberius’ body.  

I think it’d have been really easy for everyone to just never mention Tibbs again, but instead they decided to give his story a conclusion when it made sense, which I think is nice.  But what’s really incredible is the emotion the cast bring to this scene. Despite whatever went down behind the scenes, the cast still clearly cared about this character.  I wasn’t even really that attached to this character but the cast was making me get emotional here! They really showed how much this Tiberius meant to their characters. I just love how authentic the cast make their characters feel.  Great stuff.  So mad I didn’t get into this show sooner.

First time binging Critical Role Campaign 1 and I did it, I made it past episode 27.

So, my best friend wanted to check out campaign one because of the Vox Machina show to see how the campaign went. Of course, I had to give her a heads up on Tiberius Stormwind cause I know she'd ask questions about him and why he wasn't in the show.

However, I recommended not to skip sessions cause there are some fun stuff in the earlier parts. Some even got referenced and altered in season one.

Honestly, I didn't hate Tiberius when watching campaign one. I was just disappointed in how he was portrayed many times by the player.

Vex and the others are back before too long, Tiberius’ light illuminating the space around them, revealing shorn-off stalagmites thick with rings of stone. Percy had been too out of it before but now - they’re in a massive cave. A cave. Not a cell. Not a cell. As they get closer Percy realises that Vex is talking to Tiberius, more than a little angrily, and that Tiberius is huffier than usual.
