Townie Makeover WIP: The Jang Family

Or: if a hair inspires an entire family makeover. This afternoon, I came across @sheabuttyr's Hobie hair. My first thought was how it might look on Baako. It suits him. Don't you think? And when I'm here already, I might just as well make over the entire family. Son-in-law Tim and granddaughter Jenny included. Btw. Jenny needs a better name. I'll show you the little one as soon as I age her up to an infant. Maybe you have a better idea than the game's randomizer.

Townie Makeover WIP: Mystery Adami

Actually, I was playing with another Sim, Drago. Who met a young woman at the Gnome's Arms. They chatted for a bit. Unfortunately, Mystery's Simlish isn't the best yet, so there were a lot of misunderstandings. Ultimately, Drago finds out Mystery is an Alien. And, erm, yeah… I looked her up on the household screen, went to CAS, and got distracted.

In CAS, I ran into a new problem. I can't change Mystery's eye color or skin color. Not a single swatch is showing up in her Alien form. Her human disguise has access to everything. Currently, I'm 50/50ing anyway since one of the mods I use wrecks the UI. If anyone has an idea what to look for in case of the missing eye color and skin color swatches, let me know, please.

Why did I add the Pancakes as a bonus to fill the template? Well. A few days ago, screenshots of a perma-paywalled "Beautification Mod" made their rounds on Tumblr. As usual, a lot of whitewashing was going on. And they did the Pancakes dirty. Bob was whitewashed so much that he turned into Robert Waffles. Eliza was a blob of white paint. Come on, Eliza is light-skinned but not #ffffff kind of white.

All screenshots were taken in CAS with @rebouks Nightgaze Cas lighting, @vyxated Black Mirror Floor CAS background, and Possumsim's Hermes reShade preset that adds some oomph to the colors and sharpness to the image.

PS: If you want to look up the usernames on Pillowfort, do so if you're 18+. Some of the bloggers's contents aren't meant for minors. Don't tell me later, I didn't warn you.

Townie Makeover: Leslie Holland

Leslie is my favorite makeover out of those six suggestions. My second favorite is Ukupanipo's merman form. If I can take a detailed screenshot of that, I'll share that as well. You can't suggest an occult Sim to me and expect me to make over their human form only, can you?

Btw. I'm still working on Luna and Hugo. But I don't think I'll change a lot about them besides their wardrobes and their hairstyles. Teenagers don't differ very much from young adults in Sims anyway, hence I don't have to change their skin details from their first makeover.

Thanks to @madeofcc for helping me with Max's short sentence. I had French in school but my knowledge is barely existing today.

Townie Makeover: Young Jacques Villareal

As some of you might know I have two story ideas I put on indefinite hiatus for now. Since I have no problem messing up EA's timelines, here's younger Jacques from my second story idea Forbidden Fruit.

Jacques Villareal, alleged crime lord, widower, and single father of three. Best buddy of businessman and founder of Straud Pharmaceuticals Count Vladislaus Straud. Lately, both are often seen at Oasis Springs's new hot spot: Lord Vaughn's Solar Flare.

Townie Makeover WIP: The Virtuous Vampires

Following the results of my latest poll, I'm making over the Virtuous Vampires right now. Honestly, I was surprised Brandy and Samantha are teenagers. This is the current state of Demetrius, Brandy, and Samantha. I'm not satisfied with Brandy right now. She looks too grown up for a teenager. Maybe making her face less contoured and her makeup more subtle will help. Demetrius was easy. He is the white middle-class kid to me. Sam still looks like an annoying brat. None of the Virtuous Vampires has a dark form, but I just had to give them a subtle one. Luckily the Aqua Trigger CC eyes I use have brightly colored unnatural swatches, so I matched those to the color of the EA vampire eyes they had. Their dark form has my beloved Aloha Eyes recolors. Add a light blue skin tint, and some veins, done.

I know that's not how a hiatus works. I know I said I won't return until I deep-cleaned and rebuilt my mods folder. On the other hand, I have always been like that overexcited child that made something awesome and has to show it to everyone right now here. So enjoy some more tweaks on Forbidden Fruit's Vladislaus Straud. Although you'll never see this detail on average-sized screenshots, @pralinesims Pale Secret facepaint eyes over the game's default glowing blue vampire eyes look really neat and creepy.

WIP Townie Makeover: Jacques Villareal

After making over Jacques as an elder already @rainymoodlet 's latest post about Jacques made me think about how Jacques could have looked in his younger years. The pic on the left shows my rather cautious attempt, keeping the skin details from his first makeover. I like the skin details in the second pic, but the eye bags added by the face overlay break the continuity somehow. Well, it's a WIP for my Forbidden Fruit save anyway.
