[ 🌼 ] what kind of first impression does your muse leave?

Warmth. Yuuki aims to have her first impression be showered with warmth and happiness. She tries to always smile with the smile she spent years perfecting. One that conveys her happiness and warmth. You never know what kind of day someone is having, so she makes it her mission to improve it. Even if all she can do is make them realize they just have to smile.

For a moment, the Magus pauses. She's never had to think much about these sorts of things. She grabs a strand of hair, playing with it absentmindedly. Her mouth curls and uncurls at the corners as she plays with words in her mind, feeling them out, feeling the sincerity and honesty of each one. Do they feel right? Are they really how she feels?

After a few brief moments, she nods, certain with her feelings. Her usual warmth returns to her face and she smiles softly.

"I do. Despite the immense pain I would feel from being hurt, I would wholeheartedly give second chances. No one is perfect, and we all make mistakes, big and small. No matter how mindful we try to be, we all will hurt someone, sometimes more than we ever intend to.." She trails off, shaking her head gently. "Regardless of that fact, I will always give someone a second chance."

Yuuki just does not cuss! She’s 25 years old and just refuses to curse. She’s never been around it much besides what other Servants have said in her time around them. She just, doesn’t. She doesn’t mind cursing, doesn’t see it as a bad thing, she just doesn’t curse. So if she does, something is definitely wrong.

Headcanon of The Magus

Yuuki knows how to play the piano. Not perfectly, but well enough to enjoy playing it for others if they asked, or if she feels like it. It’s another past time she uses to help calm herself down when her mind won’t stop running, or she cannot sleep. It’s not uncommon for her to sing or play songs from Disney movies or just random tunes she comes up with that are lullabies. She does this as a coping mechanism for her past, and the fights she’s enduring for Humanity’s sake.

Because of Yuuki’s upbringing and irrational fear that her time at Chaldea is just a dream, she’s obsessed with making sure everyone is smiling. Even if it costs her dearly, she wants to see everyone’s smile at least once. It’s the least she can do. All she ever dreamed of was to see her own parents smile, and never fully succeeding in such endeavors, it’s spilt over into her entire life. She would spend hours perfecting the warm genuine smile she’s come to give everyone.

I felt this headcanon should be posted now, thanks to Jade and Charlie.

As a child growing up, Yuuki always imagined a Knight, much like one of the 12 Knights of Charlemagne or Of the Round Table to come and save her. She trained hard, specializing in Familiars to try and be able to recreate a knight, one that would “Storm the Castle and Save the Princess from her Isolation.” So, as such, she has a bit of a soft spot for Knights, and anything Knight-like. 

Despite the pain of growing up and realizing a Knight would never come, she never gave up on that childish hope, that a Knight in Shining Armor would come to save her. Which is why you hear her complain that “I am a lady!”, it’s the one part of her childhood coming out. She wants to be swept off her feet, and treated like a Princess. But, she will vehemently deny such things, as she is an Adult Woman, not a child.

[ 🎈 ] does your muse have many regrets? what are they?

Yuuki has a few regrets, a lot revolve around not being able to help her mother more than she did. She became the head of the family and one of the first things she did was run away to the clock tower, and never looked back. She wanted nothing to do with her family after the tragedy of losing her father struck. She regrets deeply hating him and her mother for keeping her so isolated, but most of all, she regrets not appreciating them more. Despite being harsh in a lot of things, namely her isolation and continuation of it as she grew, she could understand it. She was their only child, and they were so afraid of losing her they made rushed judgements, but all they wanted was to protect her. She regrets never thanking them, and now she may never get the chance. She regrets never appreciating the times her mother did do nice things, like cooking birthday cakes here and there, as well as allowing her some extra time reading her YA books, as opposed to books filled of Mage Craft.

[ 🐣 ] does your muse have anyone they look up to?

Yuuki looks up to Da Vinci, Holmes, Saber!EMIYA, Shirou, Kimoi, Hana, Hakuno, Makoto, Hilla She will deny it, but she does. She is very inexperienced, so these people are very kind to her and she looks up to them for experience as well as how to better herself in some ways. They're all very intelligent and have different experiences in their lives, which led them to have great advice for different things.

[ 💭 ] does your muse have imaginary friends? did they have any as a child?

Do Servants count?? Kidding! Yuuki does not have imaginary friends as an adult, but she definitely did as a child. She was entirely isolated, only allowed to have gone to Elementary school for just a few months before being pulled because she came home injured. Her parents took 'Over Protective' seriously, refraining from letting her do a lot of things. Thus, causing her to have imaginary friends so she wouldn't be lonely, though her parents caught on and ended that quickly. Despite something being so normal for a kid, her parents did not want her to think of anything else beyond her Mage Craft. She was the only child, and as such had to become head of the family. Everything else was useless, which is why she is very sheltered and unknowing of the real world.

[ 🧸 ] does your muse have any guilty pleasures or hobbies that make them embarrassed?

All of her hobbies are a guilty pleasure to her, since growing up she wasn't really allowed. She's extremely embarrassed about her notebook that has crude doodles of everyone, and notes about them. She doesn't want many others to know she's struggling to keep up with everyone and their likes and dislikes. She does try drawing certain characteristics of her Servants down, like Angra's tattoos/headband/wraps on his hands and feet, Saber's cape pattern, Muramasa's pattern on his sleeve/some discarded weapons of his, Fran's horn and electricity pieces/weapon, etc. They're not the best drawings, nor does she want them to realize she is focusing on them that much, so it's definitely embarrassing for her.

[ 👥 ] does your muse have many friends? do people feel they can rely on your muse?

Yuuki has quite a bit of Servants so far and considers all of them her friends! As well as the Masters she's been meeting. So far we have, around 24 people that Yuuki considers her friends, including her servants. (I would type them all, as I began to but oh my lord it was a lot of people and I felt as if I was forgetting them and did not wanna do that.) It is her deepest desire to make everyone smile, and feel as if they can rely on her for anything. She may not be strong in combat, but she will run head first if that was asked of her to protect everyone, servants included.

[ 🩹 ] what does your muse do to de-stress?

Sing, play the piano, write in her notebooks about her friends and servants, as well as read books. All those are very calming to her, as it focuses her mind on small things, allowing herself to take a break while the rest processes subconsciously.

[ 🎨 ] is your muse artistic? do they want to be?

She is not very crafty in the drawing area, but she is very artistic when it comes to singing and creating music. She was allowed to play the piano a few times when her parents allowed her around the house as opposed to being in just her room or her training room. She used Youtube videos to learn how to play correctly, but she's still not sure of herself and makes mistakes often.

She takes it in stride. It hurts her, deeply, to know someone has lied to her. She wants people to feel comfortable to just tell the truth. She probably wouldn't stop them anyways, depending on what the lie was to begin with. She would forgive them, and hide her pain.

Yuuki has a notepad for her Servants, for important information to not forget. Example: Background information about Kotaro, Types of Flowers Fran enjoys the most, the little things. She tries to hide it, but it’s not always possible. She wants to connect with her Servants more than anything, and she knows she can forget, so to fight it, she takes notes.

Yuuki found herself playing the piano. While she wasn’t the best at it, she was doing rather decently. She was playing an old tune from a disney movie. A dream is a wish your heart makes.

She began to sing, continuing the rest of the song in a hum. She was in a sort of, nostalgic mood as she spent the time playing the piano. She did make a mistake here and there, but all in all the song was slow and good. She was hoping that having the song playing would help someone feel calm, as her mind was spinning.

Headcanon of The Magus

She is obsessed with flowers. Her Room has multiple types of flowers in them. She found a way to add a bit of mana to the flowers to keep them vibrant despite the hard environments in Chaldea. She’s also had a discussion with Da Vinci and was allowed to set up a sort of green room for flowers. It’s a sort of community project that she started, and maintains. Flowers always made her feel better during her isolated childhood, so she decided to bring that with her no matter where she goes.
