oh gosh,,, honestly i wasn't even thinking about anything in particular,,, 😭

i just really wanted to incorporate that scar into his design because it just randomly dawned on me like yesterday that his hand looks completely fine in the official arts (that i've seen) where he's not wearing the glove. and realistically, it'd make sense if it pretty much healed to the point of not really being visible anymore anyway, but i've kinda assumed it might still be at least somewhat noticeable for him to keep wearing the glove at all, probably?

-- which is also based on me not knowing when the chromatus actually started to leave a mark on his hand, so my interpretation is that the scar never faded completely, so he continued to wear the glove until he had to keep wearing it

so in my head w/ this i was like………. yeah sure, i can draw this and pretend it's just him from at least 1+ years before the events of the game, during a rare instance of ludger spotting him without it on 😭😭😭 (instances that, at some point, stop happening entirely)
