The studio lights cause the sweat to bead down your forehead. Your group’s makeup artist is quick to fix this. She wipes the sweat off and then brushes some powder there again. “Are you alright?” She asks, her black brows furrow together while she fixes the creases around your nose.  

Korean is like English to you now and you don’t even need to translate it anymore. “I’m just like a really big fan so, I’m a bit nervous.” She smiles and then takes a step back. She nods, proud of her work. Jisoo giggles, she is listening in on the conversation. You give her a slight shove. “Don’t even start.” 

She listens to your warning but she does give you a knowing wink. You feel your heartbeat rise when the other studio door opens and The Avengers Endgame actors start to fill the room. They’re on the Korean leg of their press tour. And your band released a song for the movie. And one of the actors has been your crush since the first Thor movie came out. 

You’re sitting right in front of where Chris is supposed to be sitting. Where usually there’d be an interviewer and an interviewee, now you’re both interviewing each other. You sit with the cards in front of you, each member has their own cards. You notice his presence by his delicious scent. Your head is slow to look up but you’re instantly hit with his bright blue eyes. 

You sit up straighter, and your breath gets stuck in your chest. And when he sits down you realise you have to breathe and have no choice but to let out a shaky puff of air. Your eyes glance at your managers, their eyes look dangerous and you know that this isn’t your image. You’re supposed to be the fun one, the confident one. 

The cameraman nods, three, two, one. “Hi, we’re BLACKPINK.” Your group says in unison, some making finger hearts and others a peace sign. Then it’s your turn to speak. “And we’re here to interview The Avengers Endgame cast.” Okay, yeah, it’s cool, you’ve got this. You’re sure you look cool as can be. 

You watch his every move. The way he scratches his beard when he thinks about his reply to a question. The way his bright blue eyes linger on you before quickly looking away when you notice. How he leans in when you speak. Licking his lips as if he stopping himself from saying something. 

Or when he leans back in his chair. His hips move forward as he gets comfortable. The way his slacks stretch around his huge thighs. His thighs make you think of all sorts of filthy things. You imagine yourself in his lap, his big hands on your hips. You can just see yourself bucking into the seams of his pants and- 

He speaks and your eyes snap up to him. He’s looking straight at you, did he see the lust in your eyes? “I have a question.” Chris’ voice is like hot lava against your back. “Let’s hear it.” You reply almost automatically, so badly just wanting to talk to him. His bright blue eyes fall down to his cards, they scan over the words as he reads them over. 

“Which Avenger is each member’s favourite Avenger?” Of course, this has to be the one that he asks. But he’s got this sly grin about it. Previous interviews flash through your mind. You try to think of all the times you’ve gushed over him and you can feel your face turn the same colour as the pink skirt you’re wearing. 

The four other BLACKPINK member’s heads all turn to you. They all have this shit-eating grin on their face. “Go on, tell him,” Lisa speaks, urging you on. Chris raises his brow and then RDJ interrupts. “Y/N, is there something you’d like to tell us?” Then all of the girls begin giggling. You bite your lip, trying to fight off the smile. 

“It’s sort of a...inside joke that I’m kind of...obsessed with Thor.” His eyes go big and he forms a sort of shit-eating grin. His muscular arm reaches back and rests on the chair’s top railing. You feel just about ready for the floor to swallow you whole. But luckily Jisoo saves you the embarrassment. “My favourite is Wanda, 'cause she’s a badass girl.”

“Y/N, we’ve got some good news and some bad news.” The director of your new music video speaks. He’s holding his clipboard like always. You can’t really nod since there are about three different people working on your look for the music video. Luckily you don’t have to. 

“You know how we have that scene where we have you lean against a guy’s chest?” Again he speaks without a reply from you. “Well, that guy cancelled. But strangely enough, we got a call right after they cancelled asking to be their replacement.” Your brows furrow together but then your director steps aside. 

It’s not very hard to see the Chris Hemsworth being oiled up by one of your makeup artists. Those wave blue eyes find you the second you see him. You can feel yourself turn bright red. He just looks so good and you can feel your hands itch to touch him. 

Your heart is racing in your ears. Chris looks so delicious lying on the set. It’s a messy bed, his abs flex as he gets comfortable in the bed. He holds out his hand for you. His hand is so much bigger than yours and so warm too. He’s so gentle when he guides your hips against his. His body heat makes your blushing cheeks so much worse. 

“Just breathe.” He whispers into your ear, his fingers tickling your waist. You try your best to touch him as little as possible. “How can I?” You mumble looking into the camera while they set it up. “Just imagine this is every day for us. Imagine that my hands are always on you like this.” Your breath hitches and the thought only makes your cheeks redder. 

The director speaks, he uses his fingers to count down to one. Then the music begins playing. You lip-sync to the song, you’re in your element, and you remind yourself just how long you’ve been working on this song. But then his lips are on your neck and for just a few seconds you lose focus. 

“Sorry, sorry,” you mutter when the cameras cut. A sigh escapes you and you lean back looking up at him. “That’s not very professional of you.” You scoff but you’re quickly shut up when his thumb grazes over your bottom lip. “How can I be professional when you’re looking at me like that, looking like this?” 

His breath smells so minty and his lips look so soft when he speaks. Breathing feels almost unnatural around him. His fingers pinch your chin and force you to look up at him. His eyes look so stormy when he speaks. “How old are you, little girl?” You understand completely how he feels when he says it’s hard to stay professional. 

“25.” You reply to him. He lets out a groan and then grabs you by the hips. He pulls you closer, higher up, adjusting so just you’re no longer lying on his groin. “Okay, we’re ready to start again.”

His lips are on yours and his hands are all over your body. “Chris...” You mutter into his neck. He pushes you further against the wall. You’re trapped in his arms, in his scent, in his touch. “We shouldn’t be doing this...I’m not allowed to date.” Again you try to get his attention but Chris is just too furious for you. 

He had you cornered after the shoot. Quickly had you in some storage closet. His rugged voice and smooth touch had your knees weak and you just couldn’t resist when he placed the softest gentlest kiss on your lips. It was like his mouth was made of delicious cotton candy. And he tastes just as sweet. 

He sighs, seeing just how serious you are. His hand swipes across his lips. Trying to get rid of the feeling of your lips on his. “Come to my house. No one will see. Just me and you.” He suggests, his big blue eyes look to be pleading with you. Like he needs you more than he needs air. You sigh, crossing your arms. The way he looks at you...you just can’t say no. 

“Please.” It’s like a punch in the gut when his voice cracks. Begging to see you just once more. How are you ever supposed to resist? But the thought of your managers finding out...it could cost you your job. “If anyone asks, we’re just friends. I know the routine. I know how I’ll have to hide.” 

A sigh escapes you. He’s so smooth with his words, he knows exactly what to say. “Okay, but just this once.”

His laugh is like intoxicating incense that makes your head swirl. And when he’s done laughing he fiddles with the rings on his fingers and the watch around his wrist. You look down at the empty plate. Your stomach feels full and your heart too. Your cheeks hurt from just how much he’s made you laugh. 

You look around at his big house. You took the first opportunity you could find to head to Australia and see him. Each time that the thought crossed your mind of just ignoring him you’d see those eyes and the way his voice broke. Begging for you to just see him. Now, you’re glad you came. 

Chris’ house is so empty. Everything looks like it’s come straight out of an Architectural digest. Like it’s been thoroughly cleaned before you came. Very few signs of someone living there. You can’t really imagine someone living here. “Don’t you get lonely, all on your own?” You ask, finally returning to him. It’s as if he just can’t stop looking at you. When you see him, he sees you. 

“I’m rarely home...don’t you get lonely?” He leans his chin on his intertwined hands. You smirk, eyes all over him. “I’m rarely home.” You repeat his words to him. “But...” Again a sigh escapes you. “I haven’t laughed this much in a long. I haven’t eaten this good in so long...” His hand slowly creeps up, grabbing yours in his. 

You feel this sort of magnetic draw towards him. Like the whole world just spins around him. When he smiles, you smile. When he laughs, you laugh. You feel sort of at home. Talking to him moves so smoothly. And everything inside of your heart and soul is telling you to- 

“Stay.” Chris’ deep Australian accent cuts off your obsessive ramblings. It’s as if he’s reading your mind...

Whoa whoa I think I missed some stuff, is it okay to hate TW and how he ruined Thor now? I've been bitter about his treatment of the mcu and his attitude for years but never expected to see any mainstream agreement, what did I miss! haha it's become mainstream to hate on waititi now, friend. we will not be publicly executed the way we'd have been back in 2017 when thor3 released.

i'm not sure how this came about tho. thor4 released and everyone suddenly decided that they will hate on it FOR THE SAME THINGS THEY LOVED THOR3. i don't understand this. make it make sense. the one reason people give for this is - the humor was balanced in thor3 but not in thro4. it is NOT TRUE AT ALL and these people should get some critical thinking instead of regurgitating sexist youtubers.

also, his attitude during thor4 was also picked upon by people to be unacceptable - calling thor's gf useless and boring, saying he set out to make a film that fans would hate and daring them to hate on it, saying he wanted to put cancer jokes in the film, and crapping on the vfx artists who worked to death on his trash film.

anyway, the general consensus of thor4 was that people surely want to see thor again but not at waititi at the helm at any cost. so, marvel kicked him out. fans rejoiced. moreover, marvel specifically wants the next film to be as far away from his 2 films as possible. fans rejoiced even more at this.

waititi had stated his ideas for the future of thor's story during thor4, implying he'll be stuck to thor forever. but then he also said that he'll only come back if chris does, implying that marvel will have to beg him to give his genius to them again and also take care of this side actor mr. hemsworth.

all this came back to bite him when he was unceremoniously discarded. since then, he has went in an overdrive trying to have the last word at any cost. first, saying he knew he won't be invited back and he doesn't care because he has so many films in his kitty anyway. second, backtracking and saying he said no to marvel actually. and third, saying he only made thor3 for money, taking a dig at superhero films in the process and saying he's above them.

this act in particular has incited fans the most. even people who didn't hate on him have now started calling out his sore loser act. this is why you're seeing a serious uptick of people hating on him and his beloved thor3. :)

For everyone asking if this means Loki will be on his throne forever, it’s highly unlikely based on the trajectory of the Marvel Multiverse era that’s set to conclude with Secret Wars!

In the comics it served as a soft relaunch of the MCU. So, similar to how multiple characters and storylines were pulled together for Infinity War/Endgame, Loki will likely serve in a hero role in Secret Wars and/or Kang Dynasty that’s set to air the year before it. Possibly even in Thor 5 if Taika gets the green light for that project.

So we’ll likely see Loki join forces with everyone (Including Thor, as Chris Hemsworth is rumored to be in the cast right now!) and released from their glorious burden in some way or form.

I’m sad about the lack of a season 3 announcement, but also this wrap up on his TV storyline feels the door opening to connect their story to the broader MCU. And, it’s possible we’ll even see him sooner with the Deadpool 3 rumors, reunited with Mobius. 🤎💚

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

... as I write another mini-review of another piece of media that I enjoyed. This time, about a film.

Furiosa is the fifth installment in director George Miller's Mad Max franchise, serving as both a prequel and spin-off to 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road, which I am a huge fan of 'til this day, even more so now since watching it. The movie tells the story of Fury Road's Imperator Furiosa, originally portrayed by Charlize Theron, portrayed here by Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen's Gambit, The Menu) and Alyla Browne, as a younger version of her. Taylor-Joy stars alongside Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Extraction, The Cabin in The Woods) and Tom Burke (The Musketeers, Strike, Mank).

In the film, set in post-apocalyptic Australia, the warlord Dementus (Hemsworth) kidnaps Furiosa as a child (Browne), executes her mother, and sells her to Immortan Joe as a slave. Within a decade, Furiosa manages to escape slavery, adopts a new identity as a mechanic under Joe's army of irradiated War Boys, eventually becomes a soldier (Taylor-Joy) serving under Praetorian Jack (Burke), then avenges her mother by defeating and capturing Dementus, and is promoted to Imperator afterward, leading up to the events of Fury Road, where she, with the aid of Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), helps Joe's "wives" - his remaining sex slaves, referred to in-universe as Breeders - escape to Furiosa's home, the "Green Place of Many Mothers," incurring the wrath of Immortan Joe and his war boys in a lengthy battle across the wasteland.

I saw this film one June weekend ago on a date with my girlfriend, and I must say: personally, there was never a dull moment the whole time, commercial reviews of the film during its opening weekend be damned. Every moment had me at the edge of my seat, in anticipation of what's gonna happen next. Anya Taylor-Joy is well on her way to becoming Hollywood's next big action star. Furiosa's entire character arc, her struggles to survive and rise above, and her desire for revenge were portrayed well. Chris Hemsworth's unhinged delivery as Dementus had truly left its mark on me, as until the time of this writing, my lasting impression of him was his Shakespearean portrayal of Marvel's Norse God of Thunder. It was as if George Miller gave Hemsworth full permission to just let loose as an everyday Aussie, albeit with more villainous bloodlust and melodrama than the average bloke. I swear, the dude goes through so many eras in the movie, that he might as well just compete with Taylor Swift. It had left me both amused and genuinely impressed by his acting chops.

The setting, backdrop, and score are also worthy of my praise. The whole thing just served as a welcome expansion of Fury Road's wonderfully bleak dystopian landscape. No words can ever do justice to Junkie XL's musical accompaniment; it just complements the film's tense high-octane action and more somber dramatic moments really well.

Simply put, I would say that this movie is just one big modern-day Greek epic, and it shall ride forever shiny and chrome, along the hallowed halls of Valhalla.

I mean, of course Tom is more than just "Spider-man", we all know that....

But in ppl's defense, Spider-man IS Tom's biggest, most iconic role to date. He's played Spiderman in like 6 films now lol. 😂

Well the lazy way of doing this is the villain in Die Hard is Hans Gruber who was German and Kiel is in Germany. I could also be like: Oh Bruce Willis was born in Germany and yeah. But I love making things more convoluted than that...

So, we all know that Bruce Willis is in Die Hard, but an even more important role was his role as Tony Amato in one singular episode of Miami Vice, which we all know stars Don Johnson in it, who we all know was in Rian Johnson's movie Knives Out, which we all know. Ok I'll stop, even if this is just for you. You know actually I really wanted to connect this to Knives Out and then to 10 Things I Hate About You or 3rd Rock from the Sun because of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but I have changed my mind, as it turns out Edward James Olmos is in the same Miami Vice episode as Don Johnson. Okay, so Edward James Olmos is Admiral Adama in Battlestar Galactica, which also stars Michael Hogan, from your favorite TV show ever, Teen Wolf. BUT, he is also in Skyrim as General Tullius. Skyrim also has Christopher Plummer as Arngeir, who was also in Knives Out. But that's not as fun as connecting to Charles Martinet, who was in the Mario movie despite not playing Mario but whatever. Now, as much as I love Charlie Day and want to connect through him, I feel the need to connect through Crisp Rat, but I'm resisting that cause I had a revelation. Charlie Day is in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, starring Danny DeVito, but Kim Whalen was in an episode of that show, and I love Starkid. Corey Dorris is also in Starkid and he was in an episode of Future Man, which has our icon, Josh Hutcherson, who was in Journey to the Centre of the Earth with Brendan Frasier, who was in the Mummy with Rachel Weisz, and she is married to Daniel Craig, bringing us BACK to Knives Out. Am I losing track of the mission?? NO!!!! So, Knives Out has many amazing cast members, but one of the more iconic ones, is Frank Oz. I just realized that my goal was to eventually bring my connection to the Lion King, and I can easily do that now cause Frank Oz is Yoda, but also that's lame cause I wanted to bring it to Matthew Broderick, but let it be known that we could just do Frank Oz to James Earl Jones at this point. So, Frank Oz was in Star Wars with Mark Hamill, who is in many, many things, such as Avatar, which features Dee Bradley Baker as Appa. He is also Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb (for some reason my brain broke and almost wrote Despicable Me). Phineas and Ferb features Thomas Brodie-Sangster, which is always very funny to me, but it also has Ashley Tisdale, who was in the wonderful movie, 2009's Aliens in the Attic. Aliens in the Attic features many people, including Austin Butler, someone who was in the After movies, Tim Meadows, and Andy Richter, who played Mort in Madagascar. Ben Stiller is in Madagascar, who was in Night as the Museum, which has Rami Malek, who was in Bohemian Rhapsody with Joe Mazzello, who is in Jurassic Park (AND a movie called Star Kid). Jeff Goldblum is in Jurassic Park and also in Thor: Ragnarok, which also has Sam Neill in it, but unrelated to the goal at hand. Thor has Chris Hemsworth, who was in 2009's Star Trek, starring Chris Pine, who was in Wonder Woman with Robin Wright, who is in the Princess Bride with Cary Elwes, who was in Psych. Since they are not in the same episode, James Roday Rodriguez is in Psych, and so is Ally Sheedy, who was in War Games with Matthew Broderick.

To answer your question, yes, I came to the official conclusion that I really needed to get on track or this would literally last forever. Crazy how I can get myself to do this and not my homework. Ignore the fact that it took me over a month to respond to your question. Matthew Broderick is Simba in the Lion King, which also features Nathan Lane as Timon. Nathan Lane was in The Nutcracker: The Untold Story, which I know about solely because of Danny Gonzalez. Nathan Lane plays Albert Einstein in this movie, and so, within the lore of the movie, we could accurately state that because Albert Einstein exists within the movie, so does Max Planck, who knew Lise Meitner. I just wanted to say that cause I am aware as to how much you love her. But Max Planck was born in Kiel. Thank you and goodnight.

If I wanted to play this seriously, and not in my convoluted "6" Degrees of Michael Sheen way, probably could've connected Die Hard to Charlie Chaplin somehow, who met Albert Einstein but NO!!

Loki is having a season 2? I'm still bitter about this show because i was expecting something completely different, more serious. Like, i thought they would address Loki's identity, his thoughts about his family, the place he came from, his emotions and who he wants to be from now on and even maybe having Chris Hemsworth as a guest so they could have some more heartfelt scenes. I'd love to see him using his powers more cause i feel like mcu portrayed Loki doing half of what he can do when it comes to his strength and intelligence. I mean, imagine him in jotun form, being all proud of who he is and maybe hugging Thor while in this form. Anyways... forever mad about that.

Succumbing The Hemsworth

So I lost my niece this week she died and I wanted to put two stories up until I am ready again soon.

Chris Hemsworth is at the world premiere of the next project for the Thor character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He is literally so handsome standing on the red carpet with the flashing lights of the photographers camera.

The light blinding him brightly with the white flashes covering his entirety bathing him a glow.

He waves his hand in the air attending to the crowd as they shout in excitement at his actions.

I plan to get him for someone I know moving throughout the crowd I move through the sea of them.

Sneaking into the side of door of the venue into the Movie Theatre Premier I knew today was the day.

I smirk with delightful glee digging into my jacket pocket pulling out a sd card handing one employees a few hundred dollar bills.

They shakes his head exiting the area he left the room climbing up the staircase to the movie booth.

Slipping the sd card in into a laptop upload the virus onto the system cloud corrupting it to my whim.

The system is completely eradicated under my control replacing it with a new system lastly updating to the ear coms hitting the senses.

I watch every employee, the entire except of course Chris fall under my sway as the red carpet it empty.

Everyone mindless walks into the seats of the biggest theatre in the building they settle in to.

The door slowly closes behind me standing in the middle of the room tapping the com s sending the signal.

The crowd is ensnared easily by the gigantic multi color spiraling our of control pulling them in to it.

They crowd is frozen in time stuck to their seats they are unable to move lost to the words off of the screen.

Here we go in the midst of the insanity the crate is packed and shipped off to his new owner @MCTF21.

Chris according to program plans a big meet with his family ushering financial coverage for his family.

Oh god where is my thinking cap.

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Uh, I think it's pretty damn obvious now that I love writing atmosphere. It didn't really dawn on me until people started commenting on how I wrote The Storm and how right it felt reading the fic on rainy days/nights. I wrote a lot of bar scenes in my Supernatural fics and the atmosphere, the smokiness and the orange glow of the lights, the tacky counters, the feel of the cushioned booths, is what stands out to me the most. Maybe it's a way of getting myself and the reader to experience what the viewpoint character is experiencing. Create an immersive experience with words, if you will.

I'm not so good with themes and stuff, but I love exploring broken people finding love and healing and acceptance in their friends and family and lover/partner. No need to look too deep into that, haha.

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

There are two fics. Well, there are quite a few fics and I put them all in a series on AO3 called "the worst AUs I ever wrote", but there are two fics and I revisit them time and again because they are breezily written and absolutely ridiculous.

collide [come here, come on] is a Tron Legacy/MCU fic where Sam Flynn works at his father's arcade cafe and Tron is a SHIELD agent. So a barista AU, cranked up to crazy.

born in a thunderstorm is a Star Trek/MCU fic where I had some thoughts about Chris Hemsworth playing George Kirk and Thor and then asked myself, "What if George Kirk was Thor?" and somehow wrote 68k words of the USS Enterprise crossing paths with the Guardians of the Galaxy who are hunting for Valkyrie and Loki because they're looking for an Infinity Stone, meanwhile Valkyrie and Loki are trying to get back to Asgard to destroy it and Hela who's imprisoned on it. They all cross paths on a planet serving as a refuge for Skrulls and the Kree Empire is also after Valkyrie and Loki because they want the Infinity Stone for themselves.

It's... a lot, and I haven't even mentioned what happened on Tarsus IV decades earlier lol.

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?

I answered this already but I listen to a lot of white/background noise generators and ASMRs and also a bunch of playlists. My brain has this terrible habit of looking at a song on the playlist and then looping it nonstop until I look at something else, but I want to call out LeBrock specifically because their songs "Dangerous Dreams", "Hollow", and "Interstellar" argually sum up the entire Dangerous Dreams series and are forever present in all of my playlists now.

Glimpses

Here are small snippets into the life of Deputy Rook, Coy-Wolf and descendant of Fenrir I’ll be adding some of the head canons in a little bit.

 It is a warm summer day when the announcement comes ringing through the halls of Asgård. Ask has taken a Mate. And she is Mortal. And she is not a Wolf. And she is with Child because this was a while ago. Loki can’t exactly say that Odin is timely when it comes to announcements of the Wolf Children. When Loki locates his grandson to inform him he finds that Hati is already gone because Ask’s Mate was due to give birth on this day, also Ask was going by Ash now because modern speech made his name sound stupid. Loki was really going to get Odin back for this.

   The babe is bright and makes her displeasure at no longer being safely within her mother’s belly known with yips and yaps. Loki is stunned by her fur. He had seen many a normal wolf with similar stylings of patches of color and a light underbelly. His son, grandson, and great-grandson did not have these markings they were a solid color. But the little one looked like a ridge of clouds that progressed into inky blackness of a storm before abruptly shifting into a pure snowy white. Her mother’s grey, brown, and crème markings mimicked the patterns on the baby. Her mother is Coyote and that clued Loki in as to why Odin was so late in delivering the news. The Trickster lines had merged here though he could tell she wasn’t actually of natural Trickster Blood.

  “Have you thought of a name for her?” Loki ran a finger down her spine and she gave a small growl of approval.

  “None of the names we picked fit her.” Ash muttered sadly and Hati looked at her fur before smiling, that wolfish smile that meant trouble.

  “Rook is a wonderful name and it is fitting no?” Loki looked down at his first great-great-granddaughter and nodded.

  “Smoke indeed.”

   Hati adored his granddaughter, his only grandchild. Unlike his brother he was much more selective of breeding and mating. She was so tiny. He knew that she would grow, and grow, and grow, and grow but for now she was so tiny, looking more like a flea on her father’s paw than a pup. But his granddaughter was not why he was visiting this day. It was his son’s Mate, Adella that had him visiting. She was dying and he was going to make the final offer.

  “I know why you’re here.” She whispered as they watched Ash play with Rook. “My answer is the same.”

  “You do not wish to see her grow?”

  “Oh, I do. But she needs to be strong.” Hati looked at her. “She will need the reliance of herself alone or else she’ll never stand against them.” He didn’t question her, Adella had always been strange.

  “You’ll be gone in Winter.” She smiled and knelt as her daughter raced toward her.

  “We’ll make it memorable then, won’t we?” She pressed a kiss into the girl’s hair and passed her to Hati when she made grabbing motions.

   Hel understood Adella’s desire not to fight her mortality. The young girl had become quiet with her mother’s passing and was almost constantly in her father’s presence, that though she could protect him from Death. It made the Queen of Helheim smile. She hadn’t said anything but she had a feeling that her father, brother, and nephew were wrong about their little ball of smoke. Many of Sköll’s children showed better defense and it wasn’t until their magic developed as such that they understood. Though the magic had bled out of a few of Sköll’s bloodlines given they weren’t encouraged to wield it. Hel chuckled at her other nephew’s mourning of this. Sköll was a very superficial person. He saw a woman, he liked her, he courted her, he saw another and chased her now that he had caught the one he had previously desired. That didn’t mean he didn’t love all of his offspring. He simply didn’t want to be tied down as Hati and Ash did. He saw having a permanent mate, having a True Pack, as distraction from the Hunt. Only the strongest of his children joined the Hunt, most became Guardians or nothing at all. A yap drew Hel’s mind back to the present as she found herself with paws too big for the little body they were attached to in her lap.

  “Well Pup? What do you think?” She placed a crown of flowers into her hair. Hel had picked up the habit from Freyja, that troublesome Goddess that wouldn’t leave Hel to her gloom and Mansion. Rook considered before panting a smile and licking Hel’s fingers and then nudging them with her snout. “Greedy little thing.” She ran her fingers through her fur and Rook wagged her tail happily.

   Loki snuck his little Rook out into the warm sunshine. He made sure that they were protected from her father’s sight with several large trees. The five-year-old was more than ready to start taking up her mantle of Blood and Magic. She was a Trickster, by blood and half by association.

  “Now pay attention little one. These flowers and plants are some of your greatest weapons and allies.” She nodded with a seriousness that not many children her age held.

  “Grandpa Loki?” She hummed softly as she slowly made small figures of twigs and leaves come alive. “Why did aunt Hel take my mommy?” Loki knew that her mother’s death weighed very heavily on the pair. Ash was heartsick and could not recover while in the Mortal Realm for he could not distance himself from the pain.

  “Hel needed her for the company and to keep her safe.”

  “I could do that.”

  “Oh no little one.” Loki ran a hand through her hair, her little ears twitched but she rubbed closer. “We need you for the Hunt.” Her magic ran into healing and defense. She would be a great Hunter.

   Rook is not often visited by Thor. Thor doesn’t like to appear to be intruding on his adoptive Family on Odin’s behalf. Still he had not gotten a chance to meet the newest member of the Family since her birth and he had given his blessing of protection.

  “Really protection?” Loki sneered at him but Thor tossed the little girl with wolf ears up and down while she squealed happily. “Couldn’t you be more creative O’ Protector of Man?”

  “I think she’ll need someone big and strong when the time comes to scare off the unworthy. They’ll take one look at your ratty red hair or your scrawny muscles and laugh.”

  “Ah! You wound me Brother!” It eased Loki somewhat that Thor was truly acting on his own and not Odin’s Will. Thor could be nosy and not understand that some matters were privet even from Family but his heart was usually in the right place.

   Freyja smiled down at the little girl that was playing with her cats. She was getting much bigger. Hel huffed as another flower crown was placed on her head.

  “Oh, don’t be so upset.” The War Goddess teased. “She’ll be glorious one day. Truly I feel envy of your niece.”

  “Why?”

  “It’s nice to have multiple people assure that yes you are powerful and beautiful. Constantly.”

   At the age of thirteen Rook is old enough to care for herself, provided that she checks in with the sheriff’s department constantly.

  “You have proved not only your strength and prowess in magic,” A dirty look was tossed at her Great-Great-Grandfather at this. “But that you have the drive of the Hunt. Would you serve me upon the coming time instead of Guarding the Family?” Hati asked as they knelt before her Great-Grandfather. She straightened her back and nodded.

  “It would honor me to serve my Patron. I will take the Hunt.” She stares into the bright sapphire eyes of her Patriarch before looking to the eyes of her Ancestor. They are a burning red, deep a smoldering like a cooled fire, still dangerous but the believed threat is diminished. Fenrir lets out a huff and licks her, baptizing her and granting his Blessing. From this point forward, she is Pack Blood. She shifts fully into her human form and lays down between his paws.

  “Here Pup.” Hel places a bone between her teeth and places her head in her lap, having borrowed Freyja’s newest batch of kittens to comfort her. Hati pulls the rib bone of Fenrir that was taken for this purpose and threads the lace into it. They all begin to chant and Rook bites down on the bone. She knows this will take until sunset. She passes out completely despite her best efforts when Hati begins to depict the Hunt, she can take no more.

   Katie is unsure about Rook at first until Rook fully shifts and looks more Coy than Wolf. After that Katie knows that Coy breeds true and there’s nothing to worry about with her friend.

   College is not exactly eye opening in the way that Rook was told it would always be. Thor is shuffling her into her dorm after breaking the nose and jaw of two Wolves.

  “Have those beasts no manners? And the Southerners claim you savage.” He is muttering as he puttered about and tucked her in like when she was a small child. Rook chuckled softly at that. A pair of French Wolves had thought they had an easy mark in her. This just proved to her that she belonged back in Hope. Hope even run by a Wolf Pack, was at least run by proper Wolves.

   Sheriff Whitehorse smiled at her when she walked in to apply. She grinned back. She was glad to be home, glad to finally be able to work for the land that had given her shelter.

Fosterson Week Day 1: Missing Scene

Ever since I realized the scene in the top gif from the Dark World trailer wasn’t in the movie, I’ve wanted to see this scene so badly. (That gif is all we have of that scene, the rest are various BTS pics and gifs I found.) That still hasn’t changed, since it hasn’t been released in any deleted scene collections since the movie came out. I’m guessing it was probably deleted for pacing reasons, because if Thor has time to change into Earth clothes and then back for a romantic scene you lose a lot of tension. That doesn’t stop me from wanting to see it though! There’s precious few Fosterson scenes and I treasure every single one, so the fact that there’s another kiss scene sitting around somewhere in Marvel’s vault that they haven’t shown us is very frustrating.

It looks like this scene would probably be a sort of mirror to the romantic scene on Asgard where Thor explains the Convergence to Jane and they kiss- something where Thor and Jane stop to talk strategy for the fight against Malekith and wind up having another moment. Only this time instead of Jane being in Thor’s world and home, he’s in hers. There’s even the parallel of Jane having worn Asgardian clothes for the scene on Asgard and Thor wearing Midgardian clothes here.

Whatever the context for this scene is, I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s included in the Infinity Saga box set!

Side note: it looks like Jane has some sort of futhark decoration in her house? That’s pretty interesting, I wonder what the story is there. And what it says!

Ok rant time! 😤

Where were all these accusations when captain America came out or Chris Evans became a worldwide star through it? Or the other projects that were released. It's stupid, cause a movie is a movie, a star is a star irrelevant of how they become one. Most of these 'roles' are more iconic paralleled to movies like titanic or avatar.

I think it's quite clear why these are coming around by some influential directors probably because their movies aren't able to compete. Now with such a vast experience, it would be great to have them on board to direct a couple. But instead they want to take a dig at it.

Now I find it EVEN more annoying that all these 'faults' and 'marvelisation' points are coming right after Wakanda Forever. Letitia is being labelled as an anti vaxxer so her rep can go down. Wakanda forever is breaking box office records led fully by WOMEN OF COLOUR and it's labelled as not being human enough. Now marvel stars are labelled as just ordinary people who got cast in a role because just thinking that Tenoch Huerta becoming an overnight Hollywood star is not understandable or acceptable. If he had to become one through one of the well acclaimed directors who comment about these, then he'll be waiting his whole life.

I just find it absolutely disgusting that POC cannot just have one film or one actor representing us in Hollywood or a different culture. It HAS to be shot down. It's name HAS to be tarnished.

Thor is the hero but Chris Hemsworth is the star. Bruh does that not equate to all the characters then unless you're playing somebody else in a biopic?

Maximus is a character but the star is Russel brand

Where's the movie logic? So Brad Pitt in once upon a time in Hollywood is playing himself? Because otherwise he shouldn't be a star.

It's quite clear what these accusations being thrown about are really hinting at. It's almost like anyone who's crying is crying because their movies can't make up or don't want NEW people in their field.

Atleast that's how I'm able to see it and it infuriates me.

Brb gonna go boost Wakanda forever's box office so that Avatar 2 has a tough time to catch up.

Fic: Traversing The Multiverse

Scene: Twenty Questions

“Darcy has taught me a new Midgardian tradition,” Thor announced as he walked into the common room. Kenzie, who had been contemplating the oddities of her new life, looked up from the doodling pad to watch Thor walk farther into the room. He chose to sit on the couch across from the chair that she was in, and she felt some slight apprehension as she placed her pad on the table next to her. The last Midgardian tradition that Darcy had decided to teach was the ol’ back-pat of celebration. Except, Darcy had clearly demonstrated that the pat should be quite low to show proper revelry in victory. Then again, seeing Thor in his full Asgardian gear slapping Hulk on the ass had been hilarious. It was too bad no one had caught it on camera.

“Which tradition would that be?” she asked. While she wouldn’t volunteer the information, Kenzie did enjoy Thor’s presence. He made training together fun, and his stories were always captivating.

“The tradition of twenty questions. You see, first, I will ask you a question that you must answer truthfully. Then you may ask me a question that I must answer truthfully.” That wasn’t how Twenty Questions worked at all, but Darcy was the one in charge of Thor’s Midgardian acclimation. Besides, there was no harm in talking to Thor. Be nice if someone else was around though, just in case she needed a quick out. What was she saying? She survived the destruction of her universe. She could survive a few questions from someone that she thought of as a friend.

“Twenty questions, so ten questions each?” she clarified. Thor’s head tipped to the side as he thought, he straightened as he came to a decision, and then he nodded in acceptance. “Alright. You go first, big guy.”

“What is your favorite comfort food?” he asked first. It wasn’t what she was expecting. Her confusion must have shown, damn her overly expressive face, because he explained for her. “Darcy said it is best to start with simple and easy questions.”

“Darcy was right. My comfort food is pizza,” she answered honestly. The pizza in her universe had been great, but the pizza in this universe was phenomenal. So greasy and cheesy.

“You eat a lot of pizza.” Clearly, Thor observed more than they realized because she knew what his pointed look was saying. She did eat a lot of pizza, because most days she needed a little bit of comfort. Still, they weren’t talking about that.

“It’s my turn to ask a question, and I want to know why you won’t let me cut your hair,” she said and smiled. Tonight, his hair was mostly pulled back into a low bun with some golden locks framing his face. Either he just naturally looked that good, or Darcy had helped him out. Both were a definite possibility.

“I have kept my hair long since boyhood. To change it now.” Thor stopped there and looked to the side, and she remembered the Thor from her universe when his hair had been forcibly cut. It’d been a comedic moment, but maybe there really was a deeper reason. Maybe he didn’t want to lose that last connection to his childhood, when things were simple. That was something she could understand. Clearly he’d been thinking while she had because he continued, “To change it now would be to change the last familiar thing of me.”

“Change doesn’t always have to be a bad thing,” she said like a total hypocrite. She’d spent so much time hating change, and that was before her universe went kaput.

“It is my turn to ask a question now,” Thor reminded her. She bowed her head, and the questions continued.

She talked about the bookstore she had owned, how her favorite part of owning the store had been being surrounded by the smell of books. He told her about growing up with Loki, small pranks that young boys would play on each other. Kenzie’s childhood pet dog, Romeo. Thor’s childhood pet, possibly miniature dragon, Gorm. The time she fell out of a tree and broke her arm. The time he slipped off a cliff and spent weeks waiting for the skin on his back to regrow. Her favorite time of day was sunrise, seeing the dawn of a new day. His favorite pastime was looking up at the stars, seeing galaxies that she couldn’t even imagine. She took gymnastics as a kid. He learned alien languages in school. When she was a little girl, she wanted to be a firefighter because she liked the color of the trucks. When he was a little boy, he wanted to be a Valkyrie because they were the best warriors. If she could have any other superpower, she’d be telekinetic so she could just float things to her instead of getting up. If he could have another superpower, it’d be the ability to talk to all animals. The thing she missed the most from her home universe was her routine, always knowing what needed to be done and where she belonged. The things he missed most from Asgard were his family and close friends, the people that he loved.

“Last question. Hit me,” she said and spread her arms wide.

“Are you truly disappointed that I am not who you expected?” Well, he definitely hit her with that one. He thankfully had the grace and tact to look away as she composed herself, because she had said something to that effect not long after meeting him and did regret the hasty words now. She’d been in shock! Her universe had died, she’d witnessed several universes dying, and she’d been expecting to see Alexander Skarsgard holding Mjolnir. The Chris Hemsworth look alike had been a shock.

“You’re definitely not Skarsgard,” she heard herself say. Her hand was even moving to emphasize her point, and Thor made a fair-enough expression as he took the words in stride. She thought, just maybe, that she could see a little bit of hurt in his eyes. “Don’t tell Mac I said this, because she’d never let me hear the end of it, but you are the best Thor.”

His sudden smile was too bright, too happy, that it made something in her chest flutter and then squeeze tight. Was that her heart? Possibly her lungs as she stopped breathing? Because backlit by the dark city, in his nice maroon jacket and casually messy hair, Thor looked like any other guy while still looking exactly like a god. Not some god on a throne either. An earthly god, that walked amongst mortals and could be touched. Like if she wanted, if he wanted, she could walk over to him and press her fingers against his lips to feel his smile against her skin. All that just because she said a few words? (A few honest words too. Sorry, Skarsgard, but Hemsworth really is Thor.) Kenzie pulled in a breath, laughed off her nerves, and leaned back in her chair to fight off the urge to get out of it.

“The last question is yours,” he said quietly. She suddenly had several questions that she wanted to ask him, but she didn’t think either of them were ready for them to be asked or answered.

“Kenz! I brought back pizza! Better hurry before Steve’s big mouth eats it all!” Mac’s loud voice cut through the common room, and Kenzie startled upwards in her chair. She looked over her shoulder, and she could hear Mac and Steve playfully arguing while Jamie and Bucky egged them on, and she turned back around to look at Thor.

“Would you like to go eat some pizza with me?” she decided to ask. Thor’s answering smile was just as bright as a minute ago, and her chest did that strange fluttery-squeezing thing again. That was probably something she should figure out soon.

“It would be my honor.” When Thor stood up and extended a hand towards her, Kenzie mentally shrugged and slipped her hand into his. She’d do some deep self-analyzing after eating pizza.
