woke up this morning and realized that if Neil had died in Baltimore, his last words to Andrew would have been "Thank you. You were amazing." And that is devastating to me.

If Neil had died, that would have probably haunted Andrew FOREVER.

i’m not the first to say it and i won’t be the last, but one of the most fucked up aspects of satosugu’s relationship and their downfall to ME is how suguru goes from being the only person, the number one person that understands satoru the most and then at the end not understanding him at all. especially because of all the questions gege answered about satoru’s background, even if they were vague, which showed how clearly ostracized he is (even tho we all already guessed that but ykwim 😭) can you IMAGINE how relieving it would’ve been to go to jujustu high looking for a fresh start away from the constant pressures and eyes on him from his clan and then being able to become best friends with somebody who sees your title and your power only as a vague part of you. and then his last parting words to you are all about how strong you are. LIKEEE

We got it with a league of their own, so now where's my mini series adaptation of fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe? The one that includes more of the book, especially the more overt elements of queerness and racism that weren't included in the movie? With the extended mystery over who is breaking into train cars and throwing food out? With Big George's kids? That expands on other little things the movie nods at, but don't mean much unless you've read the book? With queer people and black people and queer black people in the writers room and behind the cameras to get things right?
