Mahlzeit,
ok since I´m a firm believer that every merc is a perfect combination of smart and stupid, I feel comfortable saying that everyone is wrong about engineer.
like no he isn´t the only one who would be capacle of realising the benefits of a union. he´s very much unable to see it because he definetely gets too tunnelvisioned as soon as his work is involved and everything not directly linked to his tasks is unnecessary.
Malzheit!
Okay, real, but do you want a TF2 political affiliations post? Because that's how you get a TF2 political affiliations post.
Scout:
The most susceptible to propaganda after maybe Soldier.
Cares about celebrities way too much and therefore is unable to recognize the utmost necessity of taxing the rich.
Probably believes in the American Dream or something.
Would not start a labor union but would join one because while dumb as a baseball, he at least understands that his ma worked really hard to support him and his gajillion brothers growing up, and that's kinda unfair and all that. Or something.
Soldier:
Can be convinced to do anything. Seems to have political affiliations, what with his anti-communist shtick, but really it's just whatever. If you sit him down and explain the actual communist ideas and how what he's actually against is dictatorship, he'll listen to you. Might take some time, but he will.
Would not start a union but would assassinate the president.
Pyro:
Mmmph?
I don't even know. Anarcho-transhumanism.
*lights self on fire and fights the cops*
Engie:
Okay I have THOUGHTS
He is a bit of a utilitarian, I think. What with him solving practical problems and all.
Graduated into the upper middle class and can't see past that because his mind is 99% the digits of Pi and all that.
Hasn't voted once in his life.
Probably actually has some misguided beliefs about labor exploitation due to being American. Like Pauling, has one vacation a year and leaves his phone on in case someone needs to reach him in an urgent work matter.
People bring up his hand as if it were the result of an OSHA violation, but like. No. He did that. He did done cut it off himself. It doesn't count.
Everything he builds is an OSHA violation.
Heavy:
Was a pioneer. You know, that Soviet thing? Kinda like an American boy scout, but with more propaganda. He got better though.
He'd be a bit wary of unions but I think he's educated enough to recognize the difference. It's just a subconscious bias, is all.
He wouldn't start a union because, while educated, he's not diplomatic. Much like Engineer "I'll break you in half" TF2, he's more used to killing the authorities than to legally opposing them.
Also his father was a revolutionary. And died for it. So yeah. Maybe he wouldn't be quite so eager to follow in his footsteps.
Demo:
I actually don't know much about labor unions in Scotland but I think Demo would be a union man.
Like. His father killed the queen for a nickel. I think the man knows enough about oppression and workers' rights to be angry about that.
Explode the rich.
"But Demo, you are rich!" - "Aye..." *killbinds*
Medic:
Already in a union.
Not politically aligned but LOVES shoplifting.
Sniper:
Individualism on main.
Would not start a union because he hasn't talked to a human being in seventeen years.
You ask him if he wants to start a union and he stares into the void for five minutes before quietly asking "...like ants?"
Can't sign up because he can't write. Why do you think he calls his parents instead of writing letters?
Actually scratch that. Can only write upside down.
Spy:
Supports whatever suits his interests.
A corporate until the labor union is strong enough, then switches sides and becomes an avid proletarian.
Also individualism on main and that's why he and Sniper get along.
Nothing like avoiding your best friend.
I don't even know. None of them would start a union actually. Medic would do it for fun. Demo would do it as a dare. Soldier would do it by accident.

"What's wrong mao?" You ask him as he back away as far as he can with his chair till he gets knock off his chair and almost hit his head if not for you, holding his hand to stable his gravity.
"That was close call!" You pulled him up back to his feet .
"..." He stayed silent for a moment. You wonder what's wrong with him. "Hey--"
"MAO!!! YOU SAID YOULL TREAT US!" Subaru comes running in with a door slam. "Akehoshi!!" Hokke comes trailing in from the door, in shock what Subaru just did, disturbing a moment at that. "Shut up hokke." With bright smile Soob run toward you two after giving a look at his leader.
"Heyyy. You can come with us too, MC~" soob made sure to cover for his buddy as he dragged you out from the room. Leaving mao and hokke who give an apologetic look at his friend. "I tried to stop him. Sorry."
"Geez... So you two where spying..." Mao felt his legs give way as he held his cheeks and wonder what will he do with a hopeless fool like you who can't notice him? Ah... Such a distress.
...
In the other side. A black haired knight stared at a ghost who disappear from his sight. A silly ghost friend of his that comes and go to bother him. Yet he don't feel that it's such a bother.
A soft smile appear in his face as he look up to the beautiful full moon with his dazzling red eyes. He wonder if his going a little bit crazy to imagine things awake. Yet... He can't wait to see that silly ghost friend of his.

April 26, 2023 Pisces General Reading
Pisces (Sun, Moon, Rising)
April 25-May 1
If you feel down for the past few days, please don’t fall back to that cave of darkness you used to dwell in. Don’t let the past accusations hold you back. Focus on the task ahead instead. Transform this energy of dread, anxiety and paranoia to something more productive, Pisces. You’re suffering, yes, but you might as well make profit out of it!
For some reason, you regard yourself as an automated worker ant for others. Listening and following orders has become your norm for the past years. You know your worth and talent, even though other people used you more times than you could count. There is nothing wrong with fulfilling a role you chose, but isn’t it time to do something for yourself? Tsk. Tsk. Dreaming won’t cut it, Pisces, you have to plant the seed in order for it to grow.
The recent conflict may push you to play the devil’s advocate. Just don’t overdo it. Even though they know you as a soft and chill person, you can be mean if you want to. You are not the person to rush and make sudden decisions, either, Pisces. You always take your sweet damn time to decide and analyze.
Nothing surprises you anymore because of the company you keep. You learned a lot from your weaknesses and your experiences. You matured quickly than most, and you don’t know if it is for the better or for the worse. However, hold and protect the precious gift you have inside.
You feel more comfortable when you are surrounded by people who love and appreciates what you do. Your solitude comforts you, but you also long for company and attention like a needy lover. You don’t mind being smothered by affection but learn how to reciprocate somehow, Pisces. At least remember their names.
The hardworking bee will always have the most honey,
Have a happy week, Pisces.
Thank you for reading.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"No love can exist without trust."
The words echoed through (y/n)s head as they wandered through the still dark field. It seemed no use to them to even try to go back to the villa.
Slowly, they came to a stop next to the brook, laying down amongst the bank, one hand on their stomach as they watched the water pass, wondering what they would do.
How could they go on if Eret had left?
"Are you alright?"
(y/n) jumped at the sudden noise, sitting up and turning to see a saytr- no not just any Satyr, they found themself face to face with Tubbo, god of the wild.
"Uhhh...."
He let his head half fall sideways to look at them closer, "You don't look alright. Have you been crying?"
They sniffed, nodding, "I suppose so, yes. I've just had... a rough day."
He nodded, "Does this have anything to do with what I heard Eret shouting earlier, cause that sounded pretty bad."
"It- was actually."
Tubbo winced, "Yikes. You know, though from what I heard, from what I can see now, you really do look like someone who is very much in love. Don't leave yourself to rot here, you must continue on, and win his affections back."
"But how can I? I've lost all of his trust." They sighed.
"You must try, you must." Tubbo insisted, he offered them a hand and helped them to stand, "There is a way, and you will be able to find it. That I am sure of."
So, (y/n) traveled on, through the lands until they at last reached their home nation. Soon, they sought out their sisters, telling them that their deception had caused them to be cast out, not by a beast, but by the god Eret, himself.
When their sisters claimed excuses, and hurried off (perhaps to try and be taken by the god), (y/n) could only sigh and move on.
As they continued the travel, searching for any signs of their husband, he was stuck in Puffy's castle, the splash of oil having done much more damage than she'd originally thought.
All too soon, Puffy had found out where Eret was, and what had happened. Furiously, she rushed into their chambers, utterly pissed that she had gone so far against her instructions as to fall in love with (y/n).
The goddess was in such a rage, that she hardly noticed the state he was in, instead yelling on about how 'that wretched mortal would need to be punished'.
"No!" Eret cried through gritted teeth, "They may have betrayed me, but this is not their fault!"
"She shall be punished!"
It was only the announcement that Ranboo and George had arrived that pulled Puffy out of her yelling.
"Puffy, what's happened?" George asked once she had returned to the main room.
"Do remember that mortal? The one everyone was infatuated with?" Puffy asked, annoyed.
Ranboo nodded, "I thought you had sent Eret to get rid of them."
"The foolish boy went against me, brought her to some place, kept her safe, and now he's been burned because of it." She sighed, "The mortal will have to be dealt with. No simply plots of a forced love. I shall send them straight down to Wilbur's domain."
George bit his lip, "Well, are you sure that he didn't hide them away for good reason?"
"He fell in love with them." Puffy scoffed.
"Oh come on Puffy, don't punish them just because she fell in love. Doesn't he deserve ore than that? They must have fallen in love for a reason? You are the goddess of love, surely you should understand." Ranboo attempted to defend Eret, only to be cut off.
"I do not care what I should or should not understand! I want this mortal punished, and punished they shall be!" Puffy roared.
Meanwhile, (y/n) still wandered the land, looking for their lover, even as their health seemed to decline.
It had been a rather nice day when they stumbled upon the abandoned temple, covered in debris, and tools left behind. Some how, despite everything, it only made sense to clean the temple. To restore, to the best of their ability, to its former glory, or at least till it didn't look a mess.
It was slow work, but soon they had cleared the weeds, moved the old offerings back to their place, and found a place for the abandoned tools.
"You, poor (y/n)!"
They looked up to find Ranboo, towering over them, "M'lord?"
"I have come with a warning. Since your betrayal of Eret, Puffy has been after you, and you have been in great danger. Still despite this, you've come to clear the temple that my followers have abandoned. Why is this?"
"No place should be abandoned as I have been." (y/n) answered softly.
He frowned, sighing, "Well, I value my alliances with Puffy to much to harbor you. But, I will not turn you in, nor alert her in anyway you were every here. Consider yourself blessed."
As he disappeared, (y/n) couldn't help but breath a sigh of relief. They hadn't been met with Puffy's wrath yet. But that did not stop their sorrow.
Wandering farther and farther away from both the valley, and their home, (y/n) came across another temple, taking a rest from the road to step inside.
At the alter, they prayed, "George, queen of Olympus, I beg of you to help me. I am but a mortal, plagued by sorrow, driven out of every place Aphrodite seeks me. I do not wish for my child to be born to this life. Oh, dear George I beg for your help!"
George, hearing these prayers, quietly appeared to them, "Poor dear. I cannot help you, no matter how much I wish too. Puffy's anger stretches far, and even I cannot shield you from it."
When he had disappeared, (y/n) was forced back out the wandering, wondering, if maybe they revealed themself to the goddess, they might receive some mercy.
After a long pondering they set out, and after journey, the found themself at the palace of Puffy. Upon turning themself into the servants, (y/n) found themself dragged before Puffy, who demanded to know what they were doing.
"So you have finally decided to pay me a visit? Or is this just a trick to see your husband, who sufferers from a wound given by your hand!"
It had been a long afternoon for (y/n), until at last the servants, and even Puffy herself, let off, and gave time for the bruises to fully form, as Puffy taunted them, "Such a plain and boring mortal, how could he have fallen for you? And even given you a child? What a pathetic thing it will be."
It didn't take much longer after that for Puffy to decide, "A challenge then, you look to be a maid, lets see how well of one you are. Then you might gain enough favor to see your husband." She called for bags of wheat, barley, beans, lentils and chickpeas to be spread and mixed on the floor, "Have all of this sorted, before the night, and you may win some favor."
And as she disappeared, (y/n) wept, it would be impossible for them to sort the pile, let alone by the time she returned. It had seemed so hopeless, until, droves of Ants, driven by pity made there way into the room.
"Fear not, we shall help you with this task."
Soon the grain was sorted, and the ants disappeared as Puffy returned, looking around incredulously, "This work mustn't be yours! Surely it isn't! You foul thing! This work is far from over!"
The next day, a new challenge was assigned.
"There is a field, a few miles from here, where golden sheep graze all day. Travel there and bring me back a tuft of wool from one by the time the sun sets, or give up on all hope of seeing your husband again." Puffy commanded.
Obediently, (y/n) set out, and as they crossed the river, a soft nymph whispered the secrets to gathering the wool from the dangeours animals.
Carefully, (y/n) waited until noon had passed, until the sheep had settled to one ide of the field, and crept out, gathering the soft tufts from the briars of the bushes.
Yet again, Puffy was surprised by their ability to comply and finish these challenges.
"Surely your husband had some hand in helping you finish this. Quickly mortal, while there is still light, take this, and fetch me the water from the upper most point of that mountain stream."
(y/n) took the pitcher, and slowly began to hike toward the mountain, dreading the dangerous climb ahead. The mountains slowly grew nearer, until (y/n) was forced to fully climb up and over rocks, and the potential fall could prove fatal.
They had paused for a rest, breathing heavy and staring up at the setting sun, there was no way they could make the trip to the top of the mountain and back before night fell.
Yet again, it all seemed helpless, until a kind eagle, indebted to Eret, swooped down, "Give me your jug child, and allow me to help."
When they returned to Puffy's castle, again they were met with surprise. No one had expected their return.
"You have done what I asked, and that makes me suspect you to be a witch. It will take a greater test to determine if you should see your husband again."
(y/n), barley held in a sigh, bowing their head.
"You will journey to the underworld, and meet Niki. She makes a beauty cream, I need you to get some for me. I've exhausted my supply."
(Y/n) began to shake, tears beginning to spill from their eyes, surely this task was impossible. No one could journey to the Underworld and make it back alive.
"Better get going." She scoffed, "And remember, not a single drop
They had no choice but to go.
It was a slow, painful journey, and it took much help, much advice to reach the underworld.
They called upon Niki, who greeted them kindly, and listened to their plight.
"I just wish to see my husband again, so I can explain myself, so I can apologize." (y/n) finished with a sigh.
Niki frowned, "That I cannot help with. But I can supply you with the beauty cream, to bring back to Puffy."
A box was filled and closed out of their view, before Niki presented it to them, with a warning, "The contents of this box, are not meant for mere mortals. It is highly dangerous for you to even look at it. You mustn't open this box, not for anything."
"I understand." They said, taking the box.
The journey back to the overworld seemed to pass quickly, but soon (y/n)s thoughts began to betray her.
Why would they carry this beauty cream if they were not able to take a drop for themself?
How were they suppose to confront their husband if they looked as ragged and hungry as they did now?
Slowly, the temptation took over, surely they would need this beauty cream more than the goddess of beauty.
As soon as the box was opened, they fell to the ground, nearly dead.
While they slept off their injuries, a great fight took place between the gods.
When they had at last awoken, they were greeted with the sight of their lovers face.
"Eret!" They gasped, "I'm sorry! I truly am! I don't know what I was thinking! Please forgive me! I love you!"
She smiled softly, "There is much we have to talk about my sweet."
It had been decided, that (y/n) would join the gods on Olympus, and remarry the god Eret.
Puffy would hurt them no more, and Eret, having heard what lengths they had gone too to get back to them, he couldn't keep them away.

Chapter 91: Return to the Village of Dusk (II)
Two rows of ready-made army of soldiers stood on both sides of the road. The main road of this Underground Ant City connected with the central square, where the new Dragon Ant Queen would hold the enthronement ceremony.
The streets were crowded with people and demons. Looking down from the roof, it was an ocean of colour.
Qi Leren and Ning Zhou walked on the roof and shared in the spirited mood. He and Ning Zhou talked about their experiences in the mission, and also talked about the story of Maria and the Destroyer.
Ning Zhou had been listening quietly, but Qi Leren could feel the undercurrent of sadness in his heart.
What was the end of power? What was his future? Where did this road lead to?
All signs suggested to Ning Zhou that there was only destruction ahead of him, and that he was destined to become a devil.
But when Ning Zhou took Qi Leren's hand, he suddenly had the courage not to bow to fate. He wanted to give it a try. Even if it didn't end well, at least he had this.
"The Sacrifice of the Devil task required one-third of the royal power. What did it mean?" Qi Leren asked.
"That's a third of his demon crystallization, one of which was in his own body, another should be in the hands of his old followers, and the remaining one..." Ning Zhou's hand was on his chest, over the place where his heart was beating, which was also his demon crystal.
Qi Leren looked at his hand and felt sad.
In the Will of the World’s memory, one third of the authority was taken away by Maria, and this one third was in Ning Zhou's body.
"She should have sealed this in her own body to avoid the power, but leaking, but later she had me." Ning Zhou said quietly, "She has foreseen this possibility, so she tried her best to stop me from taking this road. But sometimes, there are some things that cannot be decided by people's will..."
It was like when he was young, when he sat in front of his dying mother's bed and prayed to God again and again, begging Him not to take away his only relative, but she eventually left him.
There was an earth-shaking cheer in the crowd. At the far end of the street, the honor guard of the Dragon Ant Queen was approaching.
The lively hubbub caused the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony to melt away. Qi Leren looked down at it, and the Dragon Ant Queen could already be seen in the distance.
"Aya is coming!" Qi Leren pulled Ning Zhou's sleeve and said excitedly.
"It will take some time for her to get here," Ning Zhou said, calculating the slow speed of the honor guard.
Qi Leren smiled and looked at the group slowly coming. He started another topic: "Speaking of it, the half-field is really good. If my tasks don’t ban half-fields in the future, I can rest in my own."
"Don't use it too much," Ning Zhou warned.
Thinking of Ning Zhou’s own broken half-fiend, Qi Leren felt sad.
In fact, ordinary half-fields were not so fragile, but Ning Zhou had forcibly condensed his half-field with an incompatible original force, which was inherently unstable. In addition, before that task, he had just continuously overused his half-field, causing serious overdraft, and finally it was broken in the Witchcraft Sacrifice task.
Ironically, the half-field condensed by the force of destruction that he hated was so solid that it may even be infinitely close to a field.
Ning Zhou quietly took his hand, and a kind of silent sweetness emerged in Qi Leren's mind. He smiled and rested his hilted head on Ning Zhou's shoulder for a moment, as if he had just told a joke.
"The name of the field, have you thought about it?" Ning Zhou asked.
Qi Leren sighed, "Of course not. Please help me think about it, I really can't name it. When I met Aya in the Dragon Ant Queen's mission, I still used your name in reverse as my pseudonym."
Ning Zhou stunned: "Zhou Ning?"
"Yes, do you like it?" Qi Leren poked Ning Zhou's waist with his elbow.
"Hmm," Ning Zhou responded softly.
Qi Leren stole a glance at him and whispered in his ear, "I see your ears are red."
“……”
"Your face is red, too." Qi Leren laughed.
Ning Zhou looked at him with a serious face. Qi Leren couldn't laugh. He wondered if he was angry.
Qi Leren didn't react until his lips were kissed hard: He was careless! Ning Zhou had tricked him!
But when he looked at Ning Zhou again, he had already turned his blushing face and was looking at the crowd below intently.
Qi Leren shouted "cute" in his heart, and it felt like his heart was dancing as his feelings surged.
"...The Underground Ant City has changed a lot," Ning Zhou suddenly said.
"Ah? Oh, yes." Qi Leren was stunned by this sudden change of topic. "Aya’s worked very hard. When I went to see her the day before yesterday, she sat with me and talked for a long time about her vision of the future of Underground Ant City, which was discussed by her and her subordinates at a meeting overnight. She’s also learning how to manage this field and be a qualified leader. She also told me that she dreamed of the little Queen and she was very grateful to her."
Ning Zhou was silent. At that time, when Qi Leren was chatting with Aya, he and the maid had gone to the Holy Flame to check how it was doing. When he came back, he had found that Qi Leren and Aya had changed from sitting face to face to standing side by side, looking at the plan of the Underground Ant City together. If it weren't for the Dragon Ant Queen’s lower body hidden beneath her large skirt, the two of them probably would have been standing even closer.
It could be seen that Aya really liked Qi Leren. When she looked at Qi Leren, her eyes were full of longing for affirmation and approval, but when he walked into the palace, Aya stopped laughing. She was dignified like a student who had not finished her homework, and her face was full of uneasy introspection in front of the teacher.
He had tried to stand far away, eager to give them the seat in the center of the palace, while he stood in the corner with her maid.
Even after they left the Dragon Ant Queen’s palace, Ning Zhou was still thinking about this question: Why was Aya so afraid of him? When he’d met her in the desert, she was obviously not like this...
The cheers became very loud, and in the noise, the dressed-up Dragon Ant Queen came toward them along the road that was covered with bright red carpet.
The honor guard pounded the drums, played the trumpet, played the rites and music, and surrounded the Queen walking in the center.
She held a scepter and the heavy Canon in her arms. The Queen’s crown was heavy and gorgeous, and a hazy veil hung down before her eyes. Her long skirt was made of gold silk, and the train dragged for more than ten meters. Seven children carried the train for her.
Under the guard of soldiers and ants, the group marched across the street and walked toward the altar, with humans and demons cheering along the way.
The magnificent altar had already been set up in the central square. The new Dragon Ant Queen went up, looked down at her subjects, smiled and waved calmly in the deafening cheers, and started her speech.
"Today, I stand here and see the residents of the city surrounding me on the altar. I feel the heavy responsibility shouldered by me, and am deeply honored and deeply scared.
"...The city has experienced too much suffering. The monthly evil tide causes us to lose our relatives and friends. We are afraid, desperate and helpless. In addition to this natural disaster, man-made disasters have never let us go. In the lower city not far away, every day and every hour is filled with bloody killings and brutal plunder. We have been numb, letting demons bully humans and letting humans crowd out demons. We reject each other and look at each other with suspicion and malice.
"...When I was a young girl, I lived on the Surface. It was not a beautiful heaven, but another hell on earth. The desert destroyed my people all the time. We endured hunger and discrimination, but it didn't bring us hope. My people, they died in a demon attack. Only I, a humble sacrifice dedicated to the Dragon Ant Queen, survived by luck. Now I stand here.
"...Pain and suffering have taught me sacrifice, dedication, and forgiveness, but it is not worth boasting about, and my people should not bear it. Although you live underground and suffer from evil, you may never be able to bathe in the sun again in your whole life. But you are all people of the Ant City, my people. When you live in this field dominated by me, you have crossed the boundary between humans and demons. Demons should restrain your minions. Humans should also let go of your prejudice. Laws and morals make you different from monsters and beasts. You understand rationality, so you are equal.
"...Now, please listen: in my field, no bullying, no tyranny, no discrimination, and no unprovoked killing. You don't need to love each other as family members, but you need to treat each other as you would own kind, and shield them with armor and sword to protect each other against the evil tide every month. You are all my people. You must abide by my rules when you accept my protection. Now, I declare: You are created equal! If the law cannot make you learn to be equal, then death will tell you the answer, and I will not have the slightest tolerance for atrocities, because this is abhorrent.
"...Until now, we have lived in a long night, but my subjects, dawn is not too far away. Don't curse fate for the injustice and darkness that hasn't ended yet, it shouldn't have made us so afraid. For the coming dawn, we have endured, fought, and sacrificed. Let us once again ignite hope and courage, hold the hands of our companions, and bravely meet the coldest night before the dawn!
"...I am full of hope for the future of this field and this world, and we will finally break free from suffering and embrace the real light. Let's live for that day! Live! Live!"
At the end of the speech, Aya looked at the direction of Qi Leren and Ning Zhou if she felt something.
Separated from the cheering crowds, the future Dragon Ant Queen showed a sincere smile, and her anxiety and fear were smoothed out.
She put her hand on the old Canon and silently said to herself, I will do it, and all this will come true one day.

Can I get a matchup for hunter x hunter? I use they/them pronouns, I'm 18, my zodiac sign is Aquarius, and I'm 4'9 ft. I have shoulder length straight black hair, brown eyes, slightly tanned skin, and I wear glasses.
I would like to be matched with an anime-only character and don't mind a villain match. I don't want to be matched with Gon, Killua, or any Chimera ant.
I'm quite guarded and a wallflower when in new situations. I like to observe my surroundings and people around me. When I become more comfortable my hyper personality shines through. I'm very loud when relaxed and love talking about anything. I'm intelligent and like learning from others. I have a headstrong part of myself that will make me fiercely stand up for myself and others. Overall I'm a sarcastic yet caring individual who values the select people I let in my life. My interest and hobbies are true crime, animating/drawing, watching anime, cooking/baking, and reading/writing.
I'm not experienced when it comes to dates but I wouldn't mind stay at home dates, picnic dates, stargazing dates, etc. I think it would depend on my mood and if I want to be adventurous or not. I'm pretty affectionate but choose to show it in subtle and intimate ways instead of grand gestures.
In a partner I would like just the bare minimum lol. Someone who listens to me and cares about what I can say, isn't a stick in the mud, can have conversation with me (meaningful or not), and doesn't judge me for how I express myself.
It doesn't matter the gender I'm paired with and I'm fine with NSFW content. Thank you so much! <3
Anime Matchups 💘
Hunter x Hunter
Hi thanks very much! I also appreciate the follow. I’m sorry this took me a while to get to. I appreciate the patience and your very welcome.
Shalnark
Tumblr media
You’re a good match for Shalnark! He’s in his early to mid 20s and fits many of the qualities and interests you’d like for a partner.
He respects your pronouns and kills anyone that doesn’t
He isn’t one that cares about looks but he will randomly compliment you out of nowhere. I also imagine he’d compliment your glasses especially if you wear the ones he gifts you. He’ll probably snatch some frames he thought would suit you. However his gifts for you are most likely stolen. He’ll also secretly think your dark hair brings out your eyes.
He’d randomly pet your head seeing as he’s much taller than you. If you make a comment about it he’d be surprised but try buttering you up.
He’d like that you’re a wallflower and have an observant side. He’d easily notice both traits about you. Your observant side would be helpful to him when he asks your thoughts on certain tasks he must do. Your wallflower side is such a contrast to him it intrigues him.
Your hyper personality will be loved by him. It will remind him of Uvogin. He’d enjoy your loudness and talkativeness. He’ll give you all his thoughts with a pleasant smile.
Your intelligence is also an admirable trait to him. He’s also knowledgeable so you two will have plenty of intellectual conversations.
You may be headstrong but it won’t bother him. When you defend others he’ll be there at your side. He’ll be happy when you defend him as only his closest friends have ever defended him.
He also enjoys true crime and often read books about them. You two share the same interest in true crime and reading. He’d recommend books and would enjoy reading with you. Library dates will be a must.
He’ll think your cooking, drawing, writing, anime watching, and animating is a ton of interesting hobbies. He’d love to know more about the ones he doesn’t know too much about. He’ll watch you do your hobbies in delight and even help out in anyway he can. Buying you supplies, giving ideas, buying you books or helping you get access to more anime by hacking peoples crunchyroll accounts.
Shalnark most likely isn’t experienced either but he does have his caring side for those he reserves it for including his significant other. I think he’d prefer stay at home dates and stargazing at first since you’re both enjoying each other. He’ll think picnics are cute and will happily bring food from the market. As a hunter all the dates would interest him and when you’re feeling adventurous he’ll have some places in mind to take you to.
His forms of affection are displays of love like gift giving or acts of service. He’ll like that you do it subtly since he’s observant enough to reciprocate it.
As for what you’d like in a partner I think Shalnark checks everything on the list! He’s a good conversationalist, he definitely isn’t judgemental (look where he’s from), he’ll happily listen to all your problems and he’ll try to help in anyway he can. He isn’t a stick in the mud he’ll like a joke, teasing, a good prank, or some fun.
Tumblr media
NSFW Content 🔞
He’s into roleplay the list goes as follows
Teacher/Student, Thief/Royalty, Bandit/Genie, Scientist/Lab Assistant, Boss/Employee and any you’d be interested in
He likes to be rough and tends to get lost in the moment so be prepared. Sometimes he forgets about his strength
Surprisingly he has experience. Maybe not in relationships but he’s had his fair share of flings. He will definitely tease you if you’re bashful in the bedroom. If you’re confident he’s all for it and a bit impressed.
He’s definitely a moaner and a switch. He gets whiny if you top him. He likes being denied and having to beg. Orgasm denial is a big turn on.
He likes incorporating nen in the bedroom too and if you can handle it then he’s incredibly turned on. If you can only handle so much he understands and gives you breaks but he won’t stop pounding into you
He likes torture (receiving) but isn’t opposed to doing the same to his partner. He prefers if his partner is the one to inflict the pain. He’ll be begging for more when this happens.
He also likes getting choked by his partner. Something about getting manhandled turns him on.
Tumblr media
He’s a Cancer and you’re an Aquarius. The match looks to be not the best but when the couple can make it work out it will be a nice match.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and Shalnark vibe well together. You two indulge in a lot of hobbies together and go exploring here and there whenever you’re in the mood to. Interests in books and true crime is how you both became more acquainted. The more you two spend time together the closer you become. It grows into an inseparable bond and you two couldn’t be more happier. I’d say this matchup has a ton of potential.

Tumblr media
You had been imagining the day of your wedding since you were 12 years old, and attended your Aunt Maria’s wedding. It was the first wedding you had ever been too, and it was so much fun. Well, looking back, it was actually a very cheesy and poorly thrown together party in a cheap hotel, but at the time you were amazed.
You have attended quite a few weddings since then, much that were way nicer than Maria’s. Every one you went to, you gathered more and more ideas for what you wanted to do on your own big day (when the time came, of course.) You knew you wanted white roses in the centerpieces, vanilla raspberry cake was a must, and your dream venue was saved a thousand times on your Pinterest boards.
But, nothing ever goes as planned, right? When you started planning your wedding with Spencer, you know you would have to sacrifice a few of your ideas that weren’t exactly plausible. But you never in a million years thought you would be here.
It all started about a week ago, back in the lovely conference room of the BAU. You and Spencer sat next to each other, whispering away about wedding and honeymoon plans, the rest of the team scattering in and preparing to hear about a new case.
“I just don’t know what we’re going to do if my Uncle Mike brings his girlfriend…” you frowned, your stomach doing flips as you stressed more and more about the big day.
“Just have your mom call him and talk to him, he’ll listen to her,” Spencer assured you, squeezing your hand tightly, trying to pull all of your stress away. He hated how much anxiety all of this was bringing you. For him, your wedding was the brightest day of his future, it was all he could think about. And you felt the same, of course, but the planning was exhausting.
“Sorry to bring everyone in again, I know we’ve barely been on the ground a day, but we have a weird one today. Garcia,” Hotch motioned to the tech analyst, who smiled happily as she stood up and began her presentation.
“So, my friends, we are going to Spencer’s favorite place, Las Vegas!” She giggled, trying to bring lightness into a place that had seen so many horrors.
“Oh! I’ll have to call my mom!” Spencer smiled, always excited at any chance to see his mother.
“Let’s focus on getting this creep, first,” Garcia shuttered, pulling up multiple photos of dead bodies on the screen. “These are the two victims that we know of, Jenna Benson and Evan Perry.”
“What was the cause of death?” Morgan asked.
“Gunshot to the head. But, there are two ante mortem shots on each of the victim, one in the leg and one in the… nether regions,” Garcia shuttered, pulling up more pictures of the injuries on the bodies.
“Genital mutilation, that’s a statement,” you responded.
“And it was done before he killed them, so it’s definetly torture.”
“Do you think he could be trying to extort information? One bullet each time you don’t get a question right? You have three strikes to get it right?” JJ suggested.
“I don’t know, but these bodies were only killed a few hours apart, and chances are he’s already moved on to his next victim. Wheels up in 30.”
The group began to dismiss, Spencer’s hand still locked in yours as you left and went back to your desks.
“I’m gonna go grab our bags from the car and call my mom, you’ll be okay for a few minutes?” Spencer questioned, his eyes wide as he awaited your response.
“Yes, I’ll be fine on my own, Spence,” you giggled, rolling your eyes as you turned towards him and back at your desk, mixing thoughts of your big day and the big case racing through your mind.
══════════════════════════════════════════════════════
The plane ride was long, going backwards in time to reach the opposite coast always took a while. The team spoke for a bit about the case, before saying all that could be said and separating into their own comfort. You and Spencer sat close in the chairs, your head resting on his shoulder as he flipped through some case files.
Garcia had popped in earlier with the knowledge that the victims attended high school together, making these killings seem a lot less random.
“Jenna was a freshman when Evan was a senior, it’s probably unlikely they knew each other,” Spencer whispered to you, his brows furrowed as he tried to uncover something between the lines.
“I knew a lot of seniors when I was a freshman,” you shrugged, dismissing his theory.
“Yeah, but you went to a small school, everybody knew everyone. Vegas high schools aren’t like that,” he responded sharply, his knowledge of his hometown showing through.
You decided to let Spencer think silently; he tended to work best that way. You shut your eyes for a bit, only waking back up to feel the plane descending.
You didn’t know how you had managed to let time pass away like that, but the stress of everything must have been wearing you down. Spencer had fallen asleep too, his groggy eyes reopening as the plane hit the ground.
Hotch had already given you your assignments, you and JJ off to the second crime scene, which happened to be Evan’s house. The cars were there when you walked off the plane, and an extra car tasked with delivering your luggage to the hotel you probably wouldn’t have a chance to go to.
As you landed, Hotch took a quick phone call, his face making that familiar look when something happened.
“Another body?” Emily asked as he hung up the phone.
“Two. Let’s all go back to the station, for now. We need to sit down and go over everything. If he’s working this quickly, this is a spree. And we have a lot less time than we thought.”
“I’ll let the Detective know,” Rossi nodded, walking towards the car and hopping in the driver's seat. The rest of the team followed, you and Spencer walking side by side to the car that Derek had claimed as his.
“Glad I took that little nap on the plane, doesn’t seem like we’ll be sleeping for the next 48 hours,” you giggled, getting in the back seat of the SUV.
“Probably 72, if we’re being realistic,” Spencer teased, getting in the passenger's seat. He always got in the passenger's seat when the two of you were in the car with one other person. You never questioned it, but one day he let it slip that he just didn’t want the person in the front to be lonely.
You got to the Field Office about twenty minutes later, partially thanks to Derek’s driving. As the rest of the team continued to arrive, the three of you walked into the building to begin your work. You greeted the Agents and Detectives, avoiding small talk as you knew the urgency of this case. Luckily they had a room and boards all set up for you guys. Spencer and Derek began hanging evidence on the boards, as you called Garcia to get an update on your latest victims.
“Hey baby girl, what do you have for us?” Derek flirted, while neatly hanging photos.
“The two vics were actually killed previous to our two victims. Not graduates of our high school, but! One of them is Jenna Benson’s mother, Cheryl. But I cannot find a connection to the other one.”
“Her mother? So there’s gotta be some dirt in that family. What can you find?” You asked, twirling a pen in your fingers.
“I’m looking, but I can’t find much. Cheryl’s husband and Jenna’s dad, Clint, apparently left them when she was 15. Filed for divorce and just left. Other than that, they look pretty normal.”
“What about hospital records, medical stuff? Are there signs of abuse?” Derek asked.
Your phone started ringing loudly on the desk, which you quickly declined and put in your pocket.
“Sorry, go on Garcia,” you apologized, uncomfortably shoving your phone in your jacket pocket.
“Doesn’t appear so… oh, woah. This is odd.”
“What did you find, baby girl?”
“When Jenna was 14, she had a doctors appointment where they noted she was 6 months pregnant. And there’s no other documentation of it. No other ultrasounds, no birth or death certificate of said baby.” Garcia was clicking away, trying to find any trace of other evidence.
“What year was this?” You asked.
“1991.”
“So if the baby was born, they would be 29 now. Fits the profile of a spree killer,” Spencer shrugged.
“Yeah, but how is there no record of this child anywhere?”
“Children,” Garcia chimed in, her voice filled with dread.
“Come again?” Derek asked.
“According to her doctor, Jenna was pregnant with twins.”
At this point, the rest of the team had finally arrived, coming in just in time for the call. Garcia filled everyone in, each of you silently going over the facts. You tried your best to focus on the case, but your mind was still drudging over the details of your wedding. Your phone kept buzzing in your pocket, and you were certain it was some vendor or family member trying to take your money or beg for a plus one. But you couldn’t think about that, not now. You had to be here, be present. You had to catch this man.
“I have another information bomb that is going to blow your minds,” Garcia chimed in, her voice in shock as she awaited permission to talk.
“What is it?”
“In 1992, Cheryl and Clint Benson deposited two sixty-thousand dollar cash deposits in the same week.”
“That’s about how much a baby would go for on the black market,” Spencer added, his fact bringing you all to the same conclusion.
“We have to find Clint Benson, he’ll be the only one that can help us,” Rossi said.
“Do you think he’ll cooperate? That’s super illegal, he might not indict himself,” Emily added.
“We can offer him some kind of deal. If our unsub is one of the children, he’s the only shot we have at finding him.”
“I’ll work on finding the dad. I’ll talk to you guys soon.”
The team split up into smaller conversations, your phone still vibrating violently in your pocket. Spencer walked up to you, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you close.
“You doing alright, honey? You seemed distracted earlier…” he pouted, kissing the top of your head with ease, showcasing his clear difference in height from you.
“I’m just thinking about all the wedding stuff… it’s stupid,” you answered, shaking your head in defense. “It sure doesn’t help that my phone won't stop ringing!” You groaned, ripping it out of your pocket and slamming it down on the table. The team stopped what they were doing and looked towards you, but Spencer waived them away, as if to say, ‘I’m handing this, don’t worry.’
“I’ll answer, and take care of it whatever it is. You focus on the victims, see if we can find some more connections, okay.” Spencer gave you a reassuring kiss on the lips, holding your phone in his palm and walking out to the hallway to handle your never ending stress.
You turned towards the files, trying to take your finances advice and focus on the victims. You looked at the photos over and over, trying to see if there was something you missed. Something that would make this make more sense. And then you had a thought. Something that might make this make sense.
“What if he’s looking for the dad?” You shouted, hoping someone would be drawn to your thought.
“The two men have nothing in common,” Derek responded.
“No, no. I know. But, like…” you stuttered, trying your best to organize the words into your head so they would understand. “The old man is still an outlier. But this younger victim, Evan. He went to highschool with Jenna. What if all the information he had on his dad was he was a senior at her school. Maybe he had a picture, and he’s hunting guys who might be the one.”
“If he came face to face with his mom, though, why not just ask her directly? If he is shooting them to get information, why wouldn’t she give in?” Emily questioned.
You thought for a moment, but JJ came in with an answer before your brain could think of one. Thank god.
“Maybe she wanted to protect him.”
“How would he have gotten a picture of his supposed dad though? Why would she give him a picture and not a name?”
“We’re missing something here. And unfortunately the only way we’ll find it is with more victims,” Rossi said, crossing his arms in frustration.
“And there are. Two more bodies have been found, this time much more recent. Time of death is only two hours ago,” Spencer added, walking back in from the hallway.
“And identification on them yet?” Hotch asked.
“Yeah, they’re sending their names to Garcia. It’s two more men, though. Roughly the same age as Evan. Same look as well, according to the Agent that told me.”
The phone in the middle of the table started ringing, a sign that Garcia had important information to fill your heads. Her voice always brought a kind of sweetness to your thoughts, making the whole room seem brighter.
“Garcia, what’s up?” Rossi asked her, awaiting the key to unlock this case.
“Two more victims both went to high school with Jenna. And they do look a lot alike…” Garcia said.
“Okay, can I state the obvious here. If these babies were sold, what are the chances either of them make it to 29? Most creeps buying infants don’t want them for longevity,” JJ shuttered, feeling sick at the words she was saying, but knew it needed to be discussed.
“Actually, an alarming amount of babies purchased illegally are bought by real parents looking for children to adopt. The adoption process is incredibly lengthy and difficult, and it’s even more difficult to find a newborn. A lot of… more affluent couples take this route.” Spencer nodded quietly after he spoke, something small you had always noticed about him. It was almost if he was reassuring himself that he did okay, that he said all he needed to say.
“So the only shot at finding either of these babies is through Jenna’s father,” Hotch sighed, realizing again that almost all cases came down to one cruical final piece. Clint Benson was your final piece.
“Lucky for you, Aaron Hotchner, I have found our man of the hour. Clint still lives in beautiful Las Vegas, only about fifteen minutes away from where you are now. Sending the home and work addresses as we speak,” Garcia teased, a few of you giggling as your phone’s received her information. Spencer handed you your cell back and smiled, kissing your forehead.
“I handled everything. No one will bother you again,” he assured, making you feel relaxed for the first time in weeks.
“Well, people can bother me a little, it’s still my wedding,” you teased, pushing Spencer slightly as he rolled his eyes and walked back towards Derek.
“I think we should bring Clint here versus ambushing him at home. He may not know about Jenna and Cheryl yet. It only hit the news cycle an hour ago, and they aren’t even releasing the identities,” JJ spoke, her motherly instinct always kicking in in times like these. She was right, as she usually was. It would be better to hear that kind of news here.
“Reid and Derek, go to his house. JJ and Rossi, go to his work. (Y/N) and Emily, stay here and start working on a profile based on what we have so far. Hopefully we can present something soon after we talk with Clint.” Hotch nodded at you all, making sure you all understood your tasks. You blew a kiss to Spencer as he walked out, feeling calmed by his quick smile before he was gone.
══════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Clint Benson was devastated when he heard the news of his wife and daughter. He still loved them both, but the guilt and shame of what happened was too much for him. According to Clint, the whole thing was his wife's idea. When she found out Jenna was pregnant at 14, she was heart broken. It was too late for an abortion, because they had only officially found out when she was six months.
“Cheryl was humiliated. Pulled her out of school, locked in her room. Didn’t want none of our friends to see her, to know what she did…” Clint sobbed, his voice tripping over itself.
“Which is why she never saw another doctor?” Hotch asked, carefully poking around for answers.
“Yeah… I kept trying to talk to her, ask her what we were going to do. Telling her Jenna needed to see a doctor. But Cheryl just said she was handing it, was taking care of all of it. I… didn’t know what to do. And then when Jenna went into labor, I begged Cheryl to take her to a hospital… but she wouldn’t. She barricaded herself in front of Jenna… until it was too late. She had them… right in her bedroom… a boy and a girl. They were so, so beautiful.” Clint was crying more, his words sounding more garbled with each passing second. You felt sick, horrible for the man.
Times like this made you wish for the distraction of the wedding. You tried picturing the suit you had planned for Spencer. The colors were perfect for him, and would match the rest of the theme perfectly. But then you remembered the guest list, and the caterer not having enough vegan options, and the open bar messing up your signature cocktail… And don’t even start with the DJ!
“Where are the babies now, Clint?” Hotch asked, his voice now rough and full of urgency.
“I… don’t know exactly. There wasn’t much information passed. Just names and cash.”
“What were the names?”
“Uh… the girl… she went to a couple named Ashley and Brian. The boy… Danielle and Andrew…” Clint mumbled, trying to remember more.
“Wait…” you whispered to yourself, something finally clicking in this case. You ran into the interrogation room, interrupting Hotch, much to his shock.
“Do you remember Andrew’s last name? Or what he looked like?”
“Uh… I think his last name started with an M… He had glasses. Does that help?”
“Hotch… our first victim was Andrew Masters.”
“Yes! Masters was his last name! Wait… victim? Did something happen to him? Is this connected to what happened to Cheryl and Jenna?”
You and Hotch looked at each other, a silent understanding between the two of you. You both knew what was happening here. Andrew Masters was killed by his own son. He was one of two babies given away by the Benson family that fateful evening. But why start murdering your family out of the blue? There was still something missing here.
“Have Garcia find out everything she can about Andrew’s son,” Hotch instructed, nodding you away as he readied himself to continue talking to Clint.
You ran into the hallway and called Garcia, looking around for Spencer, trying to tell him about the break in the case. Whenever either of you found something vital to the investigation, you always told each other immediately. You had done that since your first day on the team.
“What can I do for you, beautiful?” Garcia asked, distracting you from your thoughts about Spencer.
“Andrew Masters, our first victim, can you find anything on his son?”
“Uhh, sure. I can do that... what am I looking for exactly?” She questioned, still typing away madly in the background.
“We think he may be the unsub. Any triggers, any red flags?”
“Hmm, well here’s something. Up until two months ago, he was engaged. Can’t find a reason why it ended, but almost two months ago exactly they cancelled the venue, vendors, everything…”
“For no refunds, I’m sure,” you giggled, knowing well how the wedding industry worked. “What’s the ex fiance up to?”
“Well, she moved back in with her parents, Ashley and Brian, who look relatively normal…” Garcia responded.
“Wait, say that again. What were her parents' names?”
“Ashley and Brian Gregg.”
“Holy shit, Garcia. You’re a genius. Thank you!” You kissed loudly into the phone, hanging up the call and running towards the conference room. Everyone except Hotch was there, but you texted him to meet you in the conference room- that it was urgent.
“Guys, you will not believe this,” you finally said, after everyone arrived and was quiet enough to hear you. “Our first victim, Andrew, was the father of the son that Jenna gave away. Now, Jenna also gave away a daughter to another couple. Now, what are the odds of this. These two kids grow up, fall in love and get engaged. Talk about a trigger, finding out the love of your life is your secret twin.”
“You’re joking… evil twins again? Didn’t we already do this?” Emily laughed.
“It’s most likely just the guy. I’ll call Garcia and get her to send us everything she has on him. We gotta find this dude,” Derek instructed, leaving the room to speak to Garcia.
“How did they find out, though? Chances are the parents didn’t even know they were twins,” Rossi asked.
“Most likely not. Clint said the babies were picked up on different days.” Hotch added.
“It doesn’t matter how he found out, what matters is that he’s gonna kill a lot of people until he finds his ‘Dad’. He wants to punish anyone he thinks is involved in this crime.”
“We’ll put his picture out all over the media, and an APB on any vehicles he has. He won’t be able to hide for long. He has a mission, he’ll have to complete it.”
══════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Hotch, as usual, was right about the unsub. He did not stay in hiding for long. The police and FBI searched for six hours in his comfort zone, almost giving up hope, until he finally caved and came looking for another victim. JJ and Derek got to him first, trying to persuade him to drop his gun and come with them.
When it was finally all over, you felt equally ecstatic and exhausted. You couldn’t wait to crawl up onto a leather private jet chair and take an amazing nap. You were sad you didn’t get at least one night in the hotel. Something about hotels made Spencer get in a certain mood… even if you got a night away, there wasn’t much sleeping happening.
But you were grateful to be going home, at least until the next case popped up. You and Rossi were the only two that stayed back while the team went searching, wanting to be here in case any new bodies popped up. Rossi was wrapping up some paperwork with the other Agents out in the main room, and you paced back and forth in the conference room, hating the silence that was left when you were alone.
Rossi walked casually back to the conference room, and you could’ve sworn he had changed clothes. Maybe it was the extreme lack of sleep, but you could’ve sworn he didn’t look so… nice when he left the room.
“You ready to head to the airport? Everyone is gonna meet us there.” Rossi said, holding the door open for you.
“Oh, uh, yeah. Sure,” you responded, slightly confused at why the team didn’t come back here first. They usually did. But, everyone was tired and there really was no need to come back, you and Rossi had taken care of everything you needed to do to leave.
You followed Rossi down to the car, making small talk as he got in the driver’s seat and began heading away. You had only ever been to Vegas on trips for work, so you’d never really seen much of the city. It didn’t help that every street looked almost identical. You felt lost as you stared out the window, wondering how a young Spencer Reid could’ve survived in this massive city.
“Oh, before we get there, I just have to make one quick stop,” Rossi said, turning the turn signal on and pulling to the side of the road.
“Oh, uh, right now?” You questioned, jolting up as he hastily parallel parked the car.
“Yeah, it’ll be real quick. But, this isn’t a great part of town, so maybe you should come in with me…” He instructed, turning the car off and waiting for your answer.
“Um… I think I’ll be okay, Dave.” You laughed, rolling your eyes and turning to look at your phone.
“I really think you should come with me.”
“Are you not gonna go unless I do?”
“Pretty much.”
“Fine!” You rolled your eyes, opening the passenger door and getting out of the car. You stood on the sidewalk, standing angrily as you waited for Rossi to get out and walk to you.
“What are we even doing here-” you asked, turning around and getting smacked in the face with one of the cheesiest and most stereotypical Vegas chapels you had ever seen. Neon flashing lights, Elvis decor, cheap paint. It was amazing.
“Why the hell are we at a Chapel? Are Emily and JJ finally getting hitched?” You laughed, staring at disbelief at the building.
“Why don’t you just go inside…” Rossi instructed, waiting for you to enter the building so he could follow.
“Alright…” you responded, walking in the door and being immediately bombarded by JJ and Emily. They were in dresses, which made you even more confused.
“Come with us! You’ve gotta get ready!” JJ said, grabbing onto your arm and pulling you towards a door down the hallway.
“What is happening? Did we drink too many Margaritas at the taco place again…” you said, still being dragged against your will to a secret room.
And then you saw it. Emily opened the hideously pink painted door to a small dressing room, and in the middle was the single thing about your wedding that had gone right.
The dress. You found it a few months ago, and immediately knew it was the one. It was one of the first dresses you tried on, but you knew immediately it was the one for you.
“How did you… what is happening…”
“You’re gonna put the dress on, and then you’re gonna get married. That’s what's happening,” Emily shrugged, pushing you in the room.
“But… no… what about… and…” you stuttered, sitting down on the cigarette infused couch, the smell of stale smoke so strong it made you gag when you sat down.
“Okay, let’s not sit on that,” JJ laughed, pulling you up and away from the toxic furniture.
“I can’t get married. I’m not ready!” You protested, Emily stripping your clothes as you stood shocked.
“Just get in the dress, everything will be okay,” JJ assured you.
“No… I can’t…”
“Get in the dress, (Y/N), or I swear to God I will have to hurt you,” Emily joked, her eyes trying to be serious but a tiny smirk made it obvious.
“Fine. But I’m not happy about this.”
But then you put the dress on. And they were right. Everything made sense. You loved Spencer, and nothing mattered except marrying him, promising your life to him. The location, the guest list, the food… it didn’t matter. Your love mattered. He mattered.
“I’m ready,” you nodded, a few tears flowing down your cheek.
You walked out of the worst dressing room of all time, your dress dragging on the cheap shag carpet behind you. Emily handed you a bouquet of fake flowers, which made you and JJ laugh as you opened the doors to the chapel.
On the other end of a long red carpet was Spencer Reid, the one person you loved most in this world. He had on his suit, the one you designed in your head. You weren’t sure how he made it possible- you weren’t sure how he made any of this possible. But you couldn’t stop crying, a gush of hot tears flowing down your face as you walked anxiously down the aisle to your new forever.
“You are the most beautiful person in the world,” Spencer whispered to you, taking your hands as you reached the end of the aisle. JJ and Emily sat down next to the rest of the team, the only other guests in attendance. It was perfect, though. You couldn’t have imagined it any other way.
“We are gathered here today to celebrate the love between (Y/N) and Spencer,” the man said. “Thank you all for coming to this beautiful celebration. Spencer and (Y/N) have decided to share their own vows.”
“Um, I don’t have my vows,” you sighed, looking around awkwardly at the crowd.
“Should’ve memorized 'em, like I did,” Spencer winked. You rolled your eyes in annoyance, lightly shoving Spencer on the arm.
“Do we need to do all this? I mean… I know you love me. I know I love you, and I hope you know that. I know that every small thing you do makes me fall more and more in love. And I can’t imagine any day of my life without you by my side. Can’t we just skip to the I do part and get married!” You wrapped your arms around Spencer’s waist and pulled him closer.
“I just want to say one thing before I kiss the bride. Nothing has mattered more to me than you since the moment we met. I would stop the world for you if I could. I wanted to do something to take away all your stress, and although I couldn’t do it perfectly, I think this is going pretty well.” Spencer smiled goofily at you, squeezing on your hand.
“Oh, the rings!” You squealed, looking around for the small box.
“Right here,” Derek smiled, handing the box to Spencer. “Best man duties.”
Spencer slipped the metal circle around your finger, his hands shaky as he slipped it on. You grabbed his ring from the box, putting it delicately on his hand, your heart racing, still unable to process what was happening.
“Is that it?” Spencer asked excitedly, looking up at the ordained Elvis, hoping to be married already.
“Well, I have to say one thing. I now pronounce you married. You may kiss your bride!”
Spencer wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you into him. He kissed you excitedly, his lips moving rapidly with yours.

Natasha Romanoff x Reader : Escape
Summary: The Red Room haunts you, from the moment you stepped foot inside to long after you’ve left. Truth is, you don’t think there is any escaping it.
Warnings: 18+ Violence, Depression, Mentions of Death, Smut
Chapter 13
******
The tool in your hand hums just barely as it melts the metals together, effectively sealing the band to the watch face. You slide it over to cool beside the others.
Across from you, Tony assembles the suits, synthesizing it with the nanotech. Schematics of Scott’s Ant-Man suit hover above the table alongside one of Rocket and Nebula’s space suits.
Just a few hours ago everyone gathered to speak with Tony and came up with an actual plan. It included gathering a team, as it usually does.
The beginnings of the team were easy to pull together. One simple call from Natasha had Rocket and Nebula flying back to earth in a couple hours, followed by Rhodey who had to finish up some business. She couldn’t reach Carol through normal communications, instead using the advanced pager they found from Fury years ago, she’d yet to show up.
From there, they got the run down of the plan and their current assignments. Rocket and Bruce were tasked with going to get Thor. Rhodey had also informed you and Natasha of Clint’s future whereabouts.
The man was headed to Tokyo, hunting down a prominent member of the Yakuza.
You’d been ready to go with Natasha but she told you she had to bring him in alone. Despite your worry, you trust her, and let her go get her best friend.
Steve, Scott, and Rhodey were somewhere around here, no doubt hashing out more details of the plan. And Nebula was all over, occasionally stopping by to offer help to you and Tony. You were impressed with her knowledge of the tech and listened intently to the tips she gave.
Right now though, she isn’t around.
Led Zeppelin blares from the speakers above, setting the lab in a familiar work environment. If it weren’t Tony you’d have complained about it, with him you don’t mind.
While the two of you chat on and off, you actively avoid speaking about the Time Heist. Focusing instead on your separate projects or your families.
Tony rolls his eyes as he mentions Morgan still wanting to play superheroes and Pepper wanting your red velvet cupcake recipe.
As normal as the conversation is, it makes you wonder about the outcome of this whole thing.
You’d yet to have children with the woman you love and while she makes up your family, there’s still the want of children, which could possibly not happen. Nothing is set in stone but the fear is there.
Tony suddenly pushes himself away from the suits,“ I’m gonna need some more coffee, these four can be linked to the watches. You want some more coffee?”
Shaking your head, you watch Tony leave out, before focusing back on the work. By the time you’re finished, six of the eleven suits are ready. You make sure the nanotech is secured in the watches.
Needing Tony to finish the last five before you can finish the watches, you leave out the lab.
Walking through the compound, you notice the added presences. Thor who doesn’t look so well and Clint. He looks different from the pictures you’d seen. Apart from the new haircut, the exhaustion and pain is clearly written on his face.
The God of Thunder, noticing your appearance, exclaims your name. His heavy set form staggers over to you, crumbs sit in his beard along with droplets of beer.
“Hey pal.” You reciprocate his one armed hug, making sure his mess doesn’t transfer to your body.
“Ah, it-it’s so good to see you old friend. Join me in the kitchen for a drink.” He slurs.
“Yeah, I’ll be right there buddy. Drink a water in the mean time.” You instruct.
His mumble of something Vodka related doesn’t miss you but you don’t react, instead shaking your head, and focusing on the shorter brunette man that approaches.
Clint stops in front of you, eyes scanning your form, before settling on your eyes as he speaks,“ you must be Y/N.”
“That I am. Pleasure to meet you Clint, Tasha speaks highly of you.” He shakes the hand you’ve offered.
“Nat’s told me a bit about you as well.” There’s a brief pause,“ I’m glad she’s found someone. Thank you for making her happy.”
You smile softly, warmed at the obvious love he has for Natasha. He’s hurting but still has enough care in himself to be happy for Natasha.
“Speaking of, you know where she disappeared to?” Eyes search the vicinity for her red hair.
“No, she didn’t say and I didn’t see her.”
With a nod, you excuse yourself and head off to find her. You check the most obvious spots: her office, the training room, and your shared room. Not finding her there, you check her room.
Quiet sniffles hit your ears on entry. Instantly going into “wife” mode, you look to comfort her.
She’s leaning over the bathroom sink, face buried in her hands, as her shoulders shake with her cries.
“Tasha, love what’s wrong?” You ask, stopping at the bathroom doorway, noticing her freeze up.
No reply comes for a moment, only for her to move toward you and wrap her arms around you. You instantly return the embrace, holding her close in hopes of making her feel better.
Whatever she mumbles into your shoulder, you don’t hear it.
“Gonna need you to speak up baby.” You whisper quietly.
“Don’t hate me.” She speaks up, though it’s still muffled.
“We need to go through a hell of a lot of shit before I could even consider disliking you. Hating you sounds impossible.” You reassure her.“ Why would I?”
She pulls away from you, walking around you, and back into the bedroom. E/C eyes follow her movements, taking in the nervous wring of her fingers, and her nibbling on her bottom lip.
“I should’ve told you sooner. I forgot myself.”
“I’d love to know what you’re talking about.”
“I’m pregnant.” She sighs, eyes trained on the floor.
Her words circle the room, getting louder, before entering your ears, and then settling in your brain.
She’s pregnant.
There’s a baby inside of her.
Your wife is having a baby.
Your baby.
By the time you’re ready to reply, tears are rolling down her face, dropping off her cheeks to the floor.
Stepping closer to her, you gently grasp her hands in yours,“ you’re pregnant?”
Confusion flickers in her eyes when she sees the pure euphoria written in yours. She frowns,“ yes.”
“We’re gonna be parents?”
Despite her confirming it multiple times you’re still in shock.
“We are.”
A shriek leaves her lips as you pull her into another hug. Spinning her around excitedly, before setting her down, and peppering kisses all over her face and neck.
Tears threaten to fall from your eyes.
“Wait, when did you find out? When did you even have the procedure? Are they healthy?”
She chuckles, still a little confused,“ I went to see the doctor before we got back. I got the procedure about two months ago. And yes, they are very healthy. She said that at nine weeks they already have little hands and little feet and they’re developing toes and fingers.”
The more she spoke about the baby the harder it was to hold back the tears. By the time she’s done, they’re cascading down your cheeks.
“You’re happy about this?” She asks after you’re brief silence.
“God, of course I am.” You pull her into a kiss, certain that your love and excitement pours through it,“ I love you so much, you are my world Tasha. How could I be anything but happy about you being pregnant with our child.”
You kiss again, initiated by her. She mumbles that she loves you over and over after each kiss.
Before she can even allow another apology to leave, you’re kneeling in front of her. As slowly and gently as ever, you raise the bottom of her shirt.
How could you not have noticed? You’ve seen her body more times than you can count, yet you missed the slight bump growing at her abdomen. And now that you know all the signs are obvious.
The random disappearance? She went to see Tony and the doctor for the procedure. Only eating peanut butter sandwiches and ice cream? Cravings. Sleeping longer and still being so tired along with all the mood swings? The pregnancy.
“I can’t wait to meet you little one.” Natasha had seen how soft and loving you could be with her. This was completely new.“ I’m going to do everything that I can to make sure I’m the mom that you deserve. I’ve known about you all of five minutes and I’m so ready to give you the world.”
You feel Natasha’s fingers comb through your hair as you press a kiss on the growing bump.
She genuinely believed you’d be angry at her for keeping it from you. She knew the procedure worked months ago but couldn’t bring herself to tell you. Why? She was simply scared.
Despite having talked about children with you, her anxiousness of the news ate at her until she’d decided to keep quiet at the time.
On the flight home she’d mentioned it to Clint and her best friend wasted no time in telling her she needed to confirm it and tell you.
Looking at you now, the way happy tears fill your eyes and the way you’re smiling like she’s given you the world, she wishes she’d told you sooner.
‘Miss Y/L/N, Mister Stark has requested your help in the lab’
You nearly groan at F.R.I.D.A.Y’s announcement in the room.
Slowly rising to your feet, you cup Natasha’s face in your hands, and place a kiss on her soft lips.
With a promise to continue talking later, you both leave out. Natasha goes to find Clint and you head to the lab with Tony.
Together you both finish up the suits and the watches, then go to help Bruce and Rocket finish the traveling platform. You pass by Thor who’s opening yet another can of beer and spilling it all over the floor and himself.
You hate that his depression led him to drinking but that’s something to be addressed when the fate of the Universe isn’t at precedents.
While Tony finishes up with Rocket, you take a time suit to Scott. He’s supposed to be testing it. The suit uses the Pym Particles to shrink the user to atomic size in order to travel through the Quantum Realm, using the watch as a gps to navigate when and where to go.
Scott steps away to put it on and you chat with Bruce about what’s about to happen.
“Are we sure we trust this imbecile to do this properly?” Nebula asks bluntly.
You laugh and shrug,“ he’s the only one that’s done this before so,” your sentence trails off.
When Scott comes back, Rhodey comes in,“ time travel suit? Not bad.” He nods approvingly.
“Hey, hey, hey!” All eyes fall to Scott whose looking at Bruce bewildered,“ easy, easy!
“I'm being very careful.” Bruce replies.
Shaking his head, Scott argues,“ no, you're being very Hulky.”
Offendedly, Bruce exclaims,“ I'm being careful.”
“These are Pym Particles, alright?” Scott waves the red vial around,“ and ever since Hank Pym got snapped out of existence, this is it. This is what we have. We're not making any more.”
You all frown at the obviously frazzled man. Rhodey tells him to calm down.
“Sorry.” He takes a deep breath.“ We've got enough for one round trip each. That's it. No do-overs. Plus two test runs.”
In the blink of an eye he shrinks down and then resizes,“ one test run.”
He nods, then admitting that he isn’t ready to do this. Only for all your eyes to snap over to Clint who volunteers.
Figuring it’s better than Scott, and seeing as no one else offers, you all wait for Clint to change into the time suit.
Once he’s done Bruce explains some things to him. And Rhodey butts in, offering a plan.
“If we can do this, you know, go back in time, why don't we just find baby Thanos, you know, and-” He demonstrates choking him out.
You shrug at the suggestion. It’s not the worst idea but it wouldn’t work.
“First off that’s horrible,” Bruce starts.
Rhodey argues that it’s Thanos.
“Nice thought, but that’s not how it works. Killing Thanos in the past won’t reverse what he did to our present.”
Bruce nods along with what you say, pointing a finger at you to make his agreement clear.
“Look, we go back, we get the stones before Thanos gets them. Thanos doesn't have the stones. Problem solved.” Scott explains as if that makes perfect sense.
“Bingo.” Clint agrees.
Nebula looks at him,“ that's not how it works.”
He frowns,“ well, that's what I heard.”
When Bruce asks by who, Scott and Rhodey list off a number of movies about time travel.
It amazes you that these guys manage to chip away at your faith in this so easily with their lack of knowledge. Not even lack of, just misconception.
“Those are all movies. Fiction.” You roll your eyes.
Bruce shakes his head, then explaining,“ if you travel to the past, that past becomes your future. And your former present becomes the past. Which can't now be changed by your new future.”
“Right.” You say as Nebula says,“ exactly.”
Clint mumbles about it all being bullshit and you just sigh and walk away.
Everyone is gathered around the platform, preparing for the test run. You nod to Steve and Tony, going to stand beside Natasha as the rest of the team comes out.
Clint steps up to the middle of the platform and Bruce stands in front of the control panel.
Finally being ready, Bruce gives Clint a count down. The man shrinks away, you all wait a minute, before he comes back.
He drops to one knee and Natasha rushes over.
They speak quietly for a second and then Clint stands.“ It worked.” He speaks louder, tossing a baseball glove to Tony.
Steve nods,“ alright everybody, we’ll reconvene later to talk about the stones.”

"I will have war," Thorin growled from atop the front wall of Erebor. He stared down coldly at the three leaders who spoke to him, a disgusted look covering his face. He stared at them as if they were nothing, but ants that he planned to step on.
The entire Company had flinched at his words, all of them knowing Thorin was not in his right mind, but all of them too loyal to oppose his wishes. They all sat silently keeping their thoughts and emotions to themselves, Balin simply shaking his head is disappointment and Bilbo staring at the back of Thorin's head in shock. The small hobbit finally realizing that there was no living creature, that could show him his wrongs. Thorin refused to listen to anyone, but the voice in his head.
Everyone could see their King's mind slowly slipping, the dragon sickness taking more and more from him each day. The greed and darkness overcame him quickly, sparing him no time to realize how cruel his actions were.
Even after Thorin had tried to throw Bilbo over the wall, Bilbo prayed for his lost friend. That very night he prayed to Mahal for help, to send Thorin a sign. He prayed that Mahal takes mercy on the astray king. The rest of the Company secretly prayed for the same thing, hoping that Mahal would help Thorin fix the wrong of his ways.
~ ~
Thorin stood in the throne room. He stood tall, admiring the mounds of gold that covered the floors. He wore his Grandfather's crown and fur coat. His stance was filled with pride and lust for more, impossible plans of how he would defeat the armies that stood just outside the walls brewing within his clouded mind. He was slowly descending further and further into madness.
"My, my look at you." Thorin froze as your voice rang through the silence of the throne room. His eyes darted around the room looking for you. He contemplated whether he had truly heard your voice or if his mind was simply playing tricks on him. "Over here, darling."
Slowly, Thorin turned his head his body following. He turned until he faced the opposite direction of the main doorway of the room. His ice blue orbs carefully falling onto your body. Thorin stared at you in awe and shock, there you stood, clothed in the armor you had worn into the Battle of Moria. The clothing that you had died in. Your hair was carefully braided into that of a warrior, your marriage braid still hanging out proudly. The only wound that your body held, was a small bloodied scratch that lay just under your right eye. You looked nothing near how you had the last time his eyes had seen you.
"Y/N, you live? But h-how?" He choked out his words, not knowing what to say. His mind struggling to believe that you were there, you looked so real, but he had held you in his arms when your life had slipped from your body. He had watched your life die from your delicate, e/c, eyes. The look of death on your face had been engraved into his mind, the image never leaving.
"I live on in your heart, amrâlimê (my love). I wish to be in your mind, but that seems to be a little more occupied at the moment." You teased, watching as his face still contorted into confusion.
"You lie. My wife has long since been dead, she died in my arms. You should leave before I strike you down where you stand." He hissed, his emotions immediately changing. You had believed Thorin to have a little bit of a temper, but this sudden mood change was not your husband's.
"I would love to see you try." You challenged, "I have indeed passed on. However, I have found it rather difficult to find peace." You paced slowly, circling Thorin carefully getting closer and closer to him. You spoked with confidence and authority, yet you held a gentle tone. Your voice soothed Thorin each time you spoke, but he still fought with himself on what to do.
"It is not possible. My wife is gone." He continued to argue.
"Thorin. I may not be with you physically, but I have never left your side. I have watched you, throughout this journey. I have watched over the company, begging Mahal not to bring any of you back to him. I have seen the change in you, just like the rest of the Company. And may I add, if you dare touch that poor hobbit as you did earlier, dead or alive, I will kill you myself."  Your voice became more powerful, you lost much of the softness that you held previously. You watched as the anger returned to his eyes, his stance that had softened only slightly, had tensed once again. You now stood only feet away from him, his face hardening, fire burning in his eyes.
"My wife would never threaten my life over such a pathetic creature. You are simply a trick of my mind, or are you whore that my enemies have sent to seduce me into peace?" He mocked, thinking himself smart as he believed he had solved the mystery. Anger rose within your body.
"I believe you are calling the wrong person, pathetic." You looked Thorin up and down, suggesting the opposite. He immediately started towards you, anger burning in his face. His body was tense as he marched forwards. You could feel the arrogant anger seeping through his pores. You refused to move, standing your ground. You would now see how much of your husband was truly left inside of the body that charged you.
He reached you quickly, his ego was hurt and he planned to make you feel the pain as well. He wound up his hand, bringing it to the opposite shoulder. Immediately he swung the back of his hand at your face, his eyes narrowed at yours. To his surprised, you caught his wrist, as if it were nothing, but a ball of yarn. You watched him, your heartbreaking if it were even possible.
"You are not the king you claim to be. You were once my Ukrad (greatest heart), but who stands before me now I do not recognize this dwarf. He seems to be no better than the Pale Orc himself." You spit. Regret washed over him, as he felt the softness of your touch, the feeling of your severely familiar skin. His heart sank as the realization of his actions hit him, as he realized what he had turned into. His armed fell limp to your hold, as tears rose in his eyes.
How was it possible? You stood, holding his arm. No matter the circumstance, the feeling of your hold made him yearn for you. The nights that he had cried for you, the nights that he wished so desperately to hold you again, the dreams he would have of a future that was no longer possible, all came flooding back to him. Just as his arm had fallen limp to your touch, his knees began to shake. Only a moment later, he fell to his knees, your fist still grasped tightly around his wrist. You watched him, disgust still evident in your eyes.
"You have come back to me..." He whispered, his glossy eyes staring into yours. Your expression softened as you slowly broke through to him. "My mizim (heart), my kurdu (jewel), how have you come back to me."
"As I said, I have never left you, my love. But I can not stay as I have come to you now, we have only but a small while together. You must promise me before Mahal calls me back, you must promise you will end all of this." You begged, you now sat on your knees across from him, both of your hands resting on each of his cheeks. Both of his hands gripped your wrists, hoping that if he never let go, you would stay with him forever. You felt the hot tears hitting your small hands, as they slipped from his eyes. "You must fight the sickness that this gold has cursed you with, you must become the king that I know you are."
"I promise you, my loving wife, I will fix what I have done. I will fight no one, but my true enemies. I know they do not lay just beyond these walls.  I promise you this, but please you must stay. I am no king without my queen." He cried softly as he gripped at your arms, he had lost you once, he did not want to do it again.
"Thorin, I wish more than anything that I had more time to spend with you, but my time has already come. I must go back to Mahal, but you will win any fight you must. You take care of the Company for me. You must tell Fíli and Kíli that their auntie misses them dearly, tell Dwalin he must find a wife soon, and everyone that I miss and love them. You tell that little hobbit, Bilbo, that I am thankful for him, he has done so much for my love." You began to cry, as you felt your time running out. You knew Mahal had only given you a little while to see Thorin, only a little bit to save him from his mistakes.
"I am no one without you, please if you must go take me with you." He breathed out frantically, as you began to stand. You could hear the strong voice of Mahal calling to you, you had only minutes before you would disappear from him again.
"You are Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain, the love of my life and death. When Mahal decides it is your time, then we will be reunited in death. I have lived, I have fulfilled my purpose in the land of the living. There are still tasks you must complete, your time will come and I will be waiting there for you." You both stood now, tears still spilling down your face. "I will see you soon Melhekhul (my king)...Men lananubukhs me (I love you)."
You whispered your last words, quickly crashing your lips onto his. Thorin kissed back, wrapping both of his arms around your body. He kissed you with pure passion and longing. His heart soaring as he felt the soft, smoothness of your plump lips once again. They were so warm and welcoming, he longed for the moment to never end. All of the happy memories he had with you flowing through his head, engulfing his mind, letting him relive some of the most cherished moments of his life.
Just as he had felt your lips, kissing him so deeply, you were gone. Your body that only seconds before he had held in his arms, was now replaced by nothing, but air. His eyes slowly opened as his face fell into agony, as he fell to his knees. Tears poured from his eyes, like a rushing river about to flood over its banks. He sunk to his knees, grabbing the crown that he wore, from his head, and hurled it away from him. He then ripped the fur cloak that sat on his back and tossed it away from him.
"Let me see her soon Mahal." He begged, his head falling limp as he leaned forwards. He braced both his hands on the gold that sat below him, sobbing as the pain of losing you washed through him. He felt as though he was nothing without you.
Dwalin, Balin, Fíli, and Kíli, watched Thorin from the doorway of the throne room. They had heard him calling your name, they saw him talking to himself, he had acted as though he was holding onto you. Thorin's two nephews's feared for their Uncle's sanity, but Dwalin and Balin knew this was a step towards the better.

Mage of Void
There are plenty of people out there who fear the unknown. Whether it be what lurks in the shadows or the brush, what truly exists out in the vast, ever-expanding depths of space, or something as simple as not knowing the secrets that lurk within the basement of that sweet-looking antique shop that all of a sudden popped up in your town, run by a sweet little old lady who always seems to have a bit of cobweb in her gray hair. You don’t know if you want to ever find out where she came from nor what secrets she keeps stowed away in that basement, which she so often ventures into when she needs to “fetch something from the back”, but whenever you watch her open that door and shuffle herself down the stairs, your mind begins to whir awake with words that paint the blank canvases in your mind. Ranging from the mundane image of a dingy old basement, filled with old, rotten wooden shelves - which really should have broken years ago - with brown, cardboard boxes piling up and filled the space, to the more dark and morbid possibilities. A flickering light bulb that hangs from a string, with a chain of beads waiting to be tugged so that the light may breathe once again and illuminate the horrors beneath. A surgery table, the typical metallic ones, with drenched, yet dry, tools next to it, and a person laying conscious atop that cold slab that will surely soon become their deathbed. A creature, or two, that hates the sunlight and so resides in the depths of the basement - perhaps even the vents - though you aren’t sure how it could fit all of those heads and arms and legs into such a tight space. But it could, if it truly wanted to hunt and stalk its prey before telling its owner, who is such a sweet old lady, “that one”. You don’t know what is in the basement, and it would be smart to say you don’t want to. A reasonable person would say that, but if you are not part of that group who would say no, then you may find yourself to be drawn towards the title of Mage of Void.
Those bound to the Aspect of Void do not fear what has yet to be explored, discovered, or established. They only see a possibility for something grand, new, and beautiful to be created where emptiness asks to be filled. While they may not fear it, the Void-bound do have a great disdain for intellectual authority, and often throw countless doubts on what others believe to be official truths. Most importantly, though, especially in the case of the Mage of Void, is that they are the universe’s secret keepers. The Mage of Void, much like its passive counterpart, is another interesting case when it comes to the Class and Aspect clashing together. However, while the Seer of Void was one who many people passively entrusted with their secrets, the Mage of Void is one who could easily be described as a morally gray person from the get-go. They hunger over secrets, lusting to gain more knowledge over the unknown and the secrets of everyone and everything around them. For some, this may sound more befitting for a Mage of Light, but do not be fooled. The Mage of Void does not do these things to gain answers, because the Mage of Void does not have any questions. They simply enjoy the feeling of power that comes from knowing something no one else does - whether it be the dark, forbidden history of a building or organization, or the secrets of all the affairs their boss has had. If there is an inkling of a secret to be found, it’s only a matter of time before the Mage of Void springs into action and chases after it, much like a predator with their prey.
However, this is getting quite a bit ahead of ourselves. What about the beginning of the Mage of Void’s journey? Specifically, what sparked this deep, never ending hunger for secrets? Much like the Mage of Blood, this fascination most likely started when they were quite young. Children are naturally curious, after all, but sometimes are curious for the wrong things. The Mage of Void was most likely the one who always wanted to be places where they shouldn’t have been i.e. their parent’s room without explicit permission or observation, the Janitor’s closet at school, the storage rooms in a grocery store, and so on. If there was a sign telling the Mage of Void to not enter a room, then chances are that they would proudly proclaim that the sign can’t stop them, because they can’t read. This would be when they were a child, after all. Keeping in mind that a Mage often begins their journey with a punch to the face and gut, the Mage of Void would most likely be met with a secret that horrified, scarred, and perhaps even traumatized them, but it would also intrigue them. They don’t try to hold onto these secrets for any malicious and harmful reasoning like that of a Thief, but it is undeniable that the Mage of Void feels a sense of superiority to those who don’t know the real truth of the world they live in.
From that point onward, though, the Mage of Void would slowly become more and more aware of the secrets all around them. There are some that, at least in the beginning, the Mage of Void would not dare go near for one reason or another. Down the line of their journey, though, there will always be some secrets that simply will not leave the Mage of Void alone. Constantly calling their name; luring them closer to discovering another horrific piece of information that very few get to see. These secrets are typically ones that personally affect the Mage of Void, and as such, it is oftentimes a rather difficult challenge for them to face these harsh truths. These secrets are ones the Mage of Void tend to struggle with accepting the most, because to accept it would mean allowing their sense of reality to falter, change, and perhaps even have the foundations crack beneath them. At first, these sudden changes may be terrifying to the Mage of Void, especially if these changes are so near and dear to their heart. Finding out that the dark secrets of a close friend or family member can bring great stress onto most people, and while some have the choice to not acknowledge it, the Mage of Void is not one of those people. They must face the unknown head-on if they so wish to complete their journey.
However, as stated before, do not mistake this behavior for someone bound to the Aspect of Light. The Mage of Void only cares to learn about the unknown; what lurks in the shadows, goes bump in the night, and what hides beneath the bed. They find solace in their suffering for this knowledge, because, much like many other Void-bound, the Mage of Void believes their perception of reality to be the clearest one. When there is a crack in the sidewalk, it is not the light that slithers all the way down that rocky and concrete chasm, for the light can only go so far. When the light cannot reach any further, that is when some people simply shrug and say that everything this crack has to offer has been revealed. The Mage of Void knows, though, that past the point of light within that crack is a world that goes far, far deeper and darker, for it is not the ant colony that lives in the scorching sunlight, but rather in the dark and hidden tunnels beneath the Earth. When there is shadow cast by the piercing rays of Light, the Mage of Void will do whatever is in their power to discover and know what horrid things lurk within the inky darkness of that shadow - big and small - while ignoring everything so blatantly illuminated by the Light.
The Mage of Void is one who often walks a fine line of being that of a social genius - capable of seeing all the secrets and lies created by people, if they so want, as well as witnessing all the hidden injustice woven in the world around them - and succumbing to the endless, existential expanse of Void itself - their mind becoming nothing but an dark ocean of ink, their head heavy from wearing a crown that is more jewels than actual crown, with each jewel being a secret the Mage of Void has learned. After all, what’s the point of seeing what the world, what reality, is truly like if no one will bother to listen? They have all of these secrets, all of this forbidden knowledge that they perceive to be the truth of all that is, was and will be, but when no one wishes to revel in the same ecstasy that comes with this superiority, it becomes a burdernous weight that not many people can bear. The Mage of Void suffers because, outside of fellow Void-bound, no one will listen to them.
While some of the other Mages naturally attract people to them, the Mage of Void is one who very few people would take note of. After all, Void-bound are often those who are easily missed when looking through a crowd of people, whether it be by the Void-bound’s choice or not. In a way, it would be up to the Mage of Void to approach other people and try to win them over as a companion. Although, when considering how Mages can often be quite erratic in their behavior, this can be quite a difficult task. The Mage of Void would only ever want to surround themself with people they deem as “woke” as them, as they have no patience in educating other people on what they have already experienced and learned. Chances are that the Mage of Void is one who lives a rather lonely life - not that they will ever care to admit as to how deeply it affects them. After all, even one who chases after the greatest secrets is bound to have their own. If the Mage of Void is not careful, and if no one has shown up to their Tea Party in Wonderland, then they might allow themself to become more further enveloped by the shadows that come with the Void. If questioned about how this affects them, the Mage of Void may either passively shrug and say they do not mind, as being alone only means they have more time to themself and their discoveries, or they may react harshly, snapping and insisting that it’s fine, that they’re fine, that the loneliness they feel is no big deal at all. In some cases, though, it is indeed the own Mage’s fault that they are left alone and to their own devices.
Although this analysis has mostly been for the Mages of Void who search for knowledge of Void, there are, of course, those who wish to seek knowledge through Void. One may think that this branch of the Mage’s journey is similar to the former. After all, becoming more aware of the secrets around oneself can’t be too different to becoming more aware due to the secrets around oneself, right? That is only partially true, but let’s explore why that is partially wrong. For the Mages who so choose to seek out knowledge through Void are, of course, those who have the harder journey ahead of them. While the Mages who seek out knowledge of Void simply dash into the unknown and darkness, the Mages who seek out knowledge through Void must first allow themselves to become fully engrossed in their Aspect. They must allow the bitter cold to nip and claw at their mind. These Mages of Void are ones who have already become part of the infinite, pure black of the void. They have gazed into it and have felt not one, not two, but millions of eyes of old, forgotten things staring right back at them. Sizing them up, judging them based on their own secret sins, questioning if they are truly worthy to gain such knowledge and wisdom. The Mage does not chase after the Void, but the Void chases after them.
What the Mage does not realize in the beginning, though, is that they have already been caught and ensnared within the claws, teeth, beaks, tendrils of the Void. They have already been caught, and they allowed it to happen. The Void, as cold and distant and suffocating as it may be, is not here to bring about the end of the Mage’s life, though. With a price that only ever seems to go up, and up, and up, the Mage of Void may learn all the secrets the Void itself has to offer. It can not give all the answers, for it does not know many to begin with, but it can give a tool far more powerful to the little Mage: things long forgotten or hidden deep within the minds and hearts of those around them. For with these secrets the Void has given to the Mage, they may use them to twist the arms of whoever they want and bend the rules of wherever they go, but only so that they may get the true knowledge the Mage of Void so deeply hungers after. They are not as nasty or manipulative as a Witch of Void may be, but they most definitely are someone who knows how to get answers when they want them. After all, they may not want all the answers, but simply having the knowledge that they could make anyone fold and buckle with the threat of such secrets getting out is sometimes enough to satisfy the Mage of Void. At least to those who so choose to chase after knowledge through Void.
The Mage of Void walks a fine-line indeed, but it is a line, or rather a tight-rope, that they love oh so much. They think themself to be one of the bravest souls in the world to walk a line so taut, thin, and fine. Even if they fall, they know that they will fall like a true hero, for not many others are courageous enough to dare attempt such a challenge. However, once they reach the other side and have experienced the worst of what their Aspect has to offer, the Mage of Void is most certainly someone not meant to be trifled with. With one simple glance, an awakened and well-minded Mage of Void could know every last secret that someone so desperately wishes to hide, but only if they want to. Not only that, but they could so easily see all the loopholes and weak points of anything they so wished to target. Whether it be a single person, a group, organization, or perhaps even an entire system of government, all it would take is the will and mind of the Mage of Void to find the Achilles’s Heel of those who stand in their way. While they may not have many friends, on purpose or otherwise, those they do allow into their inner circle are those they trust the most out of the entire world. After all, it’s hard to trust many people when given the power to know everyone’s past mistakes, losses, and overall secrets. The Mage of Void may still feel that suffocating weight of the void atop of them, but when they have fully awakened and completed their journey, they are willing to bear that weight if it means not living in a false understanding of the world around them and instead becoming one of the most elusive and daunting people in their group. After all, the Mage of Void has nothing to fear - not even the unknown, or void itself.

will you hold this? (it’s my heart)
a/n: i wanted to write some sad fluff, like well everything is going to be ok, but is it? and it’s kinda just me sharing my experience via college AU!tony.
Of course they could talk without saying anything out loud. They’d been inseparable almost from the first day they met, their childhood codewords evolving into a serious language of gazes and expressions. They could have an entire conversation just by looking into each other’s eyes, far away from anything else that was going on around them. Sometimes their conversations were so fast, you’d miss them if you so much as blinked. Anthony knew Stephen like the back of his hand (and vice versa) and could read him like a book. To be fair, Anthony was of the opinion that reading Stephen’s facial expressions and their subtle changes was more interesting than most books. And that was, in a weird way of arriving at the conclusion, part of the problem.
It wasn’t Stephen’s fault, in fact it had nothing to do with him whatsoever, but books and articles and journals didn’t hold Anthony’s attention sometimes. It didn’t matter how passionate he was about the subject matter, sometimes his brain just didn’t want to absorb anything. He’d stare at the wall, or sometimes at nothing, following a thought process that didn’t always make sense. More often than not, it was just an avalanche of one (1) idea after another, leaving him confused and upset. How come he could sing an entire song in his head or invent a new product, but not focus on the pages in front of him?
And of course Anthony didn’t want to give himself too much credit, he wasn’t that brilliant and his thoughts/mind weren’t the only thing that distracted him. Sometimes he’d click open a new tab and follow internet discourse.
Sometimes he’d scroll through old texts.
Sometimes he’d send some new texts.
Sometimes he’d stand abruptly and wander aimlessly for a few minutes. What he did tended to vary, but his focus consistently left the task at hand. If he was listening to someone, or trying to listen to someone, he’d bite his lip, touch his face, tear at the hole on the knee of his jeans, or something similar just to deal with the realization that he was occupying his body. He was too often gripped by the realization that he was a corporeal being, leaving him desperately needing to feel the environment around him, just as a reminder that he was alive. Sometimes he wondered about how and why he still existed, but today wasn’t one of those days.
Anthony hadn’t asked himself any questions relating to his mortality in awhile, and he didn’t want to. He could deal with fidgeting as a reminder that he was a living thing, he couldn’t deal with wondering why. All of his anxiety was, ironically enough, focused on the fact that he couldn’t focus on a damn thing. There wasn’t time to let his mind wander into any dark corners, but Anthony didn’t know that he’d be able to collect his thoughts if it did. So after picking up his phone for the third time, just to play a quick game and see if Rhodey texted him back (he didn’t, because he was in a lecture and Anthony knew that but still checked his phone every few minutes), Anthony subtly shoved his phone in Stephen’s direction.
Stephen looked up as he saw Anthony’s hand in his peripheral vision, fingertips lingering near the top right corner of his notebook. That was one of the clearest signs that he wanted or needed something but was hesitant to bring it up.
“What’s up Ant?”
“May I ask a small favor?”
Stephen rolled his eyes fondly. “There’s no limit to the things I’d do for you, but go on.”
“Will you hold my phone in your bag?” Anthony asked, a bit sheepishly. “I’ll take it back once we’re home.”
“Sure,” Stephen replied, not thinking twice about the request. He brushed his fingers lightly against Anthony’s as he grabbed his boyfriend’s phone.
Anthony let out a sigh. “Thanks.”
“What’s wrong?” Stephen asked, holding his hand properly.
“I just can’t really focus,” Anthony confessed. “I should’ve finished all of this ages ago, but my mind is just elsewhere. I must be distracted because you’re too pretty.”
“I’m fucking gorgeous, but that’s not why you’re distracted and we both know it,” Stephen replied, his tone firm but sweet.
Anthony shrugged. “I don’t really know what it is. I just can’t seem to concentrate, even as I’m trying to do multiple things at once. I’m trying to make up for lost, wasted time I guess? But I can’t focus on one (1) thing, let alone four (4).”
Stephen frowned at the look of distress on Anthony’s face, letting go of his hand for a moment just to brush his hair back. He smiled as Anthony leaned into the caress, relaxing just a bit.
Every bit counted! But beneath Anthony’s little moment of bliss, he was unsettled and frantic. Stephen reached for his hand again, sending Anthony a knowing smile as he began to draw circles on the back of Stephen’s hand with his thumb.
Anthony cocked his head to the right and frowned, tapping his pen on the desk with his other hand. A look of fear and regret flashed in his eyes as he let go of Stephen’s hand. “I didn’t mean to distract you too.”
“You know I can’t resist you,” Stephen replied teasingly, trying to convey that he wasn’t actually upset.
But Anthony wasn’t convinced, crossing his legs nervously and looking at Stephen with guilt-stricken eyes.
“I’m not actually upset or annoyed or anything like that,” Stephen assured him. “I promise.”
Anthony just nodded and slouched uncomfortably in the chair he’d been sitting in for the past few hours. He eyed the stack of papers in front of him with disinterest, trying to convince himself to just finish reading and start this damn essay. He knew that looking at the articles wasn’t going to help him absorb the information, but he wasn’t getting anywhere by trying to read and it was so FUCKING frustrating.
He sighed and opened his laptop again, mentally committing to just getting the outline of his paper done. It wouldn’t be that painful, right?
Actually it could. Even though Anthony stood up to stretch, walked to the bathroom, got some water, and doodled just to keep his mind busy while he tried to take some notes and start his outline, nothing worked. And again, it was REALLY fucking frustrating.
Beside him, Stephen quietly closed a book. “Want to head home?”
Anthony hesitated, looking for a minute like he was going to decline. Eventually he nodded, feeling a little like he was admitting defeat. He’d come back to the essay later, he always finished his tasks... but he hated how long it took him to do them.
“Come on,” Stephen said gently. He stood up and reached out to hug Anthony against his side. “What should we make for dinner?”

Anthony was uncharacteristically quiet for most of the night, which worried Stephen and their housemates. Stephen knew Anthony was upset and that he always dimmed himself when he was lost in his head, but he was rarely this eerily silent. He didn’t touch his work for the rest of the night, trying to make sense of his day and watching Stephen and Carol argue about movies once she and Pepper came over.
Stephen would glance at him every now and then, finding obvious stress in his tired expression. Even though Anthony seemed relaxed, sitting next to Rhodey and occasionally adding a joke to their conversation, he was tense and edgy. Sometimes his sleepy facade would sort of slip, and Stephen could see how much stress he was hiding in his tired eyes.
After spectating a Mario Kart tournament for a few rounds (Pepper insisted on challenging Rhodey with everyone present, raising the stakes of the competition), Anthony slipped over to the other side of the room where Stephen was. While Stephen was still sitting, Anthony hugged him, clearly enjoying the reversal of their height difference.
Stephen found he didn’t mind it as Anthony rubbed his back and softly kissed his hair. With a smile, Stephen looked up at him and pressed his chin into Anthony’s shoulder. “Hi. I’m surprised you aren’t gloating about being taller than me since I’m sitting down.”
Anthony just shrugged. “I didn’t come over to brag. I think I’m going to bed, though. I’m tired.”
“I’m surprisingly not,” Stephen remarked. “But I don’t blame you, weren’t you up late last night?”
“Yeah. I almost fell asleep in the kitchen trying and failing to write that damn essay,” Anthony muttered.
Stephen frowned. “Go get some rest, love. You deserve it, and you need it. I’ll probably come to bed soon.”
“Sounds good,” Anthony replied, kissing the top of Stephen’s head again. He addressed the group then, saying a quick goodnight and hugging Pepper and Carol before wandering towards his room.
Overcome with tiredness and a need to be close to his boyfriend, Stephen left for bed not 30 minutes later. Anthony was shrouded in the scent of vanilla and residual steam from the shower, his damp hair tucked away under the hood of an old sweatshirt his mother had given him.
He was curled up near the center of the bed, resting on a pile of throw pillows he hadn’t bothered to move, his eyes following the screen of their TV.
“Villager hunting? Who moved out?” Stephen asked, realizing that his boyfriend was playing New Horizons.
“Filbert,” Anthony replied, his avatar running the hell away from some wasps. “I’m looking for Pietro now, Clown Town isn’t complete without him.”
Stephen rolled his eyes. “I still can’t believe that’s what you named your island. I think I have some extra tickets I can give you if you need.”
“This is my first mystery island, but I might take you up on that,” Anthony said, with a soft smile.

“Did you come to bed at all last night?” Stephen asked, resting his cheek against Anthony’s shoulder.
“Yeah, don’t you remember?” Anthony asked softly.
“How would I? I was asleep,” Stephen reminded him.
“No I know, but you do this cute thing whenever I come to bed late, I guess it’s a subconscious thing, where as soon as I lay down you always reach for me and end up holding me,” Anthony replied. “It’s adorable. Kinda like this spooning thing we’re doing right now, except not because I’m usually facing you.”
Stephen smiled, hugging him closer. “Well I do sleep better with you.”
Anthony blushed, amazed that Stephen’s affection could catch him off guard sometimes. “I love you.”
“I love you too, dumbass,” Stephen replied. “Although I still can’t believe you didn’t take Raymond on the last island you were on.”
“I’m not looking for him. If I’m going to bring a smug villager to Clown Town, it’s going to be Pietro!” Anthony said, laughing quietly at Stephen’s sudden outburst.
(Actually, that was only the beginning of Stephen’s outburst.)
“Raymond is my favorite villager, and you know it! This is a betrayal, the greatest disappointment of this century, and I’m so upset,” Stephen complained, exaggerating every word. “I’m absolutely devastated!”
Anthony knew he was joking, but he started to wonder if Stephen could be disappointed in him for not trying harder to concentrate. He shelved that thought for a minute, running in a circle around another villager. Instead of voicing what really bothered him, he asked: “I thought Dizzy is your favorite villager?”
“Dizzy is my favorite on my island, Raymond is my literal dream villager,” Stephen explained. “I was going to visit him on your island! I feel so betrayed, Anthony!”
“Raymond is alright I guess, but—”
“He’s the best villager in the game! And he kind of reminds me of you,” Stephen cut him off.
“Ah, that explains why I dislike him for some reason,” Anthony quipped.
“Anthony.” Stephen changed his tone, his voice soft and loving in contrast to how bitter his boyfriend sounded.
“What? I’m just saying. Nothing that reminds you of me could possibly be a good thing,” Anthony explained.
Stephen frowned, hugging him even closer. “I call bullshit. I’ve never come across anything I think that’s ‘bad’ that reminds me of you. Only good things.”
Anthony scoffed. “If you say so. If nobody moves to my island by tomorrow, will you give me some of your NMTs?”
“Of course,” Stephen replied. He paused before speaking again. “How are you feeling, by the way?”
“Tired,” Anthony said, saving his game and putting his Switch away. He saw Stephen frowning again, this time at his absence, and quickly returned to bed and his boyfriend’s arms. “And also discouraged. Sorry I insisted that you held my phone earlier, I was thinking if it was out of sight I wouldn’t be distracted and it didn’t even work so all I really did was bother you when you were reading and I’m sorry.”
“Hey, remember what I always tell you? It’s never bothersome to support you and be around for you,” Stephen replied. “I know you don’t always believe it, but I’ll just keep telling you. And I’m sorry you had a hard time today.”
“It’s not just today, Steph,” Anthony remarked. “I’ve been thinking about it kind of a lot recently, and I’ve had trouble sitting still, concentrating, not getting distracted, etc. since third grade at least. I’ve just noticed it more recently and it’s made me more anxious since I notice it more.”
Stephen just hummed, softly kissing his cheek. He knew Anthony wasn’t done talking, but always liked to silently offer support/affection/reassurance.
“I don’t have my thoughts together very well, I just feel stupid for not being able to focus,” Anthony continued. “Today I couldn’t focus on more than a sentence without a distraction, and I’m not sure if I hate myself or if I want to be forgiving just this once.”
“Be gentle with yourself,” Stephen urged. “I know you’re trying. You thought about how to minimize your distractions, and I know you like to plan your time. It might be hard to follow your plans, or to keep from getting distracted, but you’re doing your best.”
“I’m going to talk to my mother about this tomorrow,” Anthony said. “Maybe she has some advice on how to deal with it? Is it stupid to hope that I’ll be able to fix myself with just some advice?”
“You’re not broken, Anthony, so there’s nothing to fix. But for the sake of your analogy, no. You are an engineer, after all, and a problem solver. Just promise me you’ll try to be kind to yourself?” Stephen asked.
“No promises. I really fucking hate myself for not completing something as trivial as that essay,” Anthony muttered. “It’ll get done eventually. I guess that’s reassuring.”

hi. im really sorry for bothering you. this is also a long ask so im really sorry. and im sorry if im ranting. i feel like i need to explain and give the entire story and everything. it ends up leaning to overexplaining. and im already doing it. ok. so sorry. so, for the last few months (six or seven) ive been questioning if i have adhd. i show many symptoms such as sensory overload, hyperfocus, emotional dysregulation, rsd, delayed sleep phase syndrome, inattention (1/6)
hyperfixation and emotional hyperarousal, some problems with memory and object permanence, a selective memory like i memorized an entire 369 page book but i forgot where my phone was when i put it out of my direct line of sight,
i stim (drawing, moving, humming, etc) and i need stimulation or i die, I’m bad with remembering to shower/eat/brush my teeth and i will forget to change my outfit for days on end,
I have trouble controlling my volume and all of this: ( Do you feel like you’ve ruined everything when someone tells you that you did something wrong? Do you think you’ve offended people when you haven't? Do you have a hard time judging reality correctly (like you think you’ve offended or hurt someone and you feel awful but it didn’t bother them that much)? ) But I still don't show the "normal" signs of ADHD.
I’m not loud or disruptive in class. i get excellent grades. i took the act in 7th grade and got a 23 (good for a seventh grader).
i don’t struggle with getting things done, if they have a deadline. no deadline, never even going to start. but i’m known in school as the smart kid, with perfect grades and in the gifted program. when I’m at home i get all my homework done immediately. everything is turned in one time or before the deadline.
I don’t have time blindness unless I’m hyperfocusing. otherwise I’m way too acutely aware of time. i can guess what time normally within two minutes without looking at a clock.
I’m constantly stressed about making it to places on time and am never late. and ADHD is a disability, but I’m doing fine, it hasn't affected me really at all, so i don’t feel like I’m valid enough to talk to people about getting a diagnoses or even talk to people that i might have it. i don’t even think they'd believe me. they'd just brush it off that i was lying, i was trying to justify why i forget what I’ve just been told or why i disrespect the teachers by drawing instead of looking them in the eye.
I just don’t know what to do, and so I’m asking you, do you have any advice? should i talk to someone?
It’s not affecting me really. I’m not struggling. i have friends, social skills and i do great in school, i turn things in on time and all that. i don’t have major issues that a lot of ADHD people face. You have to have at least six symptoms interfere with your school, home, social life before you’re 12. I’m 14. but i show so many now i don’t know what to do. sorry for the rant. any advice?
I’m so sorry I didn’t answer this sooner, by the way, I’ve not been able to get on my computer in the past couple of days, so I deeply apologize. But for first looks, by the fact that you made a wall of text, in which I edited down for an easier time reading, you absolutely have ADHD.
I’m going to say this, one thing, it absolutely affects you. Just because you aren’t having bad days, doesn’t mean you never will. And it’s likely that you’re not struggling so much, because you are currently in a structured environment. I was in a similar position when I was still in public school. I didn’t realize that I had ADHD until I was 20 and entered an unstructured environment for college. It was then I began to struggle so much that I wasn’t able to clean my dorm room and had an ant infestation.
And you don’t need to be disruptive to have hyperactivity symptoms, especially if you are assigned female at birth, afab people are taught to mask things, and tend to end up being called drama queens, chatty and daydreamers. So if you feel the need to brush off your symptoms, its because we are unfortunately taught that.
With executive dysfunction, its literally about having a hard time starting tasks, thats what they mean. Also many neurodivergent people can relate to the “gifted kid syndrome”, you are not alone in that.
For time blindness, being stressed about the time or hyperaware can be a sign of overcompensating for the fact that you may not have an internal clock. Time blindness is when you are doing something and next time you check its 2 hours later but it felt like 15 minutes. If you have anxiety about the time its a sign you experience time blindness.
Also its a neurodivergent thing to hate eye contact, and with us who have ADHD, it helps to focus on something visually to listen to them. Stimulating certain senses can be important for not getting distracted, because its a controlled thing to keep you occupied, so your other senses can be used better.
You should talk to your school counsellor and parents if you can, tell them that you relate to specific symptoms on this list. Say you think you deal with executive dysfunction and all this stuff. Because while you may not struggle as much right now, you may struggle worse later and its important to start managing it now for the future.
I hope this helps. Sorry for taking so long!!!

She makes towards the kitchen, feet soundless, hand reaching for her gun. The parsen is still on the set table, waiting to be feasted upon. She looks away, ignoring the pang of her chest, and focuses on the task at hand. No intruders here, either. Jehona figures they must be watching the entrances.
And she is right.
Another Kairanese girl has made base in the living room, facing the front door. She doesn’t hesitate. The girl slumps much like her companion outside. Jehona sweeps through the rest of the house with the same efficiency, finding two more girls, one in each bedroom. Only the last one, a Kairanese that must have been Rumaysa’s age, is vigilant enough to sense her coming into her room and put up a fight. Jehona breaks the only flower vase she owns over the girl’s head. She makes a mental note to replace it and the wilting flowers that have fluttered to the ground before Rumaysa finds out.
Chapter 8
Friend
Another shot pings on the cobblestones. Rumaysa bites her lip to stop from making any noise. Her leg shakes from the strain and she leans against the wall of a building, moving at a crawling pace. Rounding the corner, she drags herself along the wall. Even her head fails her, her eyesight going blurry as she slides down, sitting on the road, the yielding a reprieve for her battered body. Everything hurts: her leg, her shoulder, her hands. The crutches escape her grip, clanging as they hit the ground.
“Who’s there?”
Rumaysa starts, hope blooming in her chest. She knows that voice, the cold uninterested timbre it adapts with strangers. Her eyes, which she didn’t even realize had slid closed of their own volition, fly open. “Jehona?”
And it is indeed her best friend rushing towards her, brown locks flying with the wind, voice frantic. “Rumaysa?” She crouches down in front of her, placing blessedly cool hands on her flaming cheeks. “Are you hurt? What are you even doing here?” Jehona’s eyes do a sweep of her sprawled body, the brown dark with worry and panic.
Chapter 5
Fun
“Can you even worry?” he snips back.
She shrugs. “If I try hard enough. Now, I’ll operate under the assumption that you actually got some information to share with the class—” Hideyoshi nods. “—so we’ll retreat for tonight. I doubt we’d be able to go out again, either way, what with the uproar you’ve caused.”
“That would be advisable,” the gargantuan remarks, pulling a miraculously clean kerchief from somewhere on his person to wipe at his face. “I’d also advise you against wearing that cloak next time we go in. You’ve made an enemy.”
Jehona turns on her heel, leading them back. “All in a day’s work, Hideyoshi,” she throws over her shoulder.
“Of course she’s flippant about it,” he mutters under his breath and she smirks to herself. He’ll make her life hard and, in turn, she’ll make his life hard. Thankfully, riling the gargantuan up is fun.
Chapter 10
(Hideyona, Hideyona!)
Free
“Pity,” she laments, circling again to find the girl’s fingers. “Your poor friend will have a hard time wielding a sword with nine fingers. That is, of course, if she doesn’t contract an infection first and die. I haven’t cleaned this basement in ages.”
The subject of her attention whimpers and Jehona is reminded just how much she absolutely hates her job. She drives one more proverbial knife in.
“If you want to blame someone sweetie, let it be your friend, who keeps her silence while you are threatened.” Jehona unfolds the girl’s fist gently and the girl sobs.
That seems to do the trick. “No, wait! Wait! We don’t know! We don’t know, I swear!” The leader all but screams.
Jehona circles back to meet her eyes. “You don’t know?”
“I swear on my life we don’t. That is information shared on a need-to-know basis and we don’t need to know,” the girl reasons. “For this reason exactly, if nothing else.”
She accepts the explanation with a sigh. It makes sense. These girls are just grunts come to kill her. And she doesn’t have any more time to waste with them.
Jehona sets the dagger on the floor about two meters from the girls, hilt facing them. “That wasn’t so hard, now, was it?” She looks at the tear-faced girl. “You scared your poor friend for nothing. I have to go now. Use this—“ she points to the blade, “—to free yourselves. And do try, please. I’m not keen on coming back to four rotting corpses in my basement. Have a good day, ladies.”
With that, she walks out.
Chapter 8
Air
He smiles at the soldiers. “At ease, Wolves. Mirmengsi to all of you.”
“Section Commander, sir.” Erisa appears at his elbow and salutes. She’s a tiny woman, barely reaching his shoulder, always shrouded in an air of seriousness that he can’t disperse no matter how many stupid jokes he cracks. Even Jehona hasn’t resisted that long in her more serious moments. The two four-pointed stars on her left breast catch the morning light as she faces him.
“Major Arlet, good morning,” Klevis greets, turning on his heel and motioning her to follow. He’s aware of the eyes that closely follow their movements. There’s an ongoing rumor about the nature of his relationship with Erisa, which has now turned into wishful thinking on the Wolves’ part since neither one of them has done anything to encourage the rumor. They’re just a bunch of romantic fools, in his opinion. And they’re going to have to wait a while longer to see a romance blossom between him and her, given he’s aromantic and Erisa is done with his shit. The only pro to the rumor is watching the serious facade crack a little more each time a pair of eyebrows is wagged in their direction. Coincidentally, that is also the only con.
Chapter 11
Break + Clear
She rolls her eyes. “Not in Hideyoshi’s presence, Maysa.”
“Why not?” he protests with narrowed eyes. Jehona likes to think he can feel the jab she’s about to send his way.
“Because,” she starts slowly like she’s talking to a toddler, “in order to explain, I’d need to break the law. I fear you’d faint at such a transgression and, as you can clearly see—” Jehona gestures to the black lump in her lap, “—I can’t move fast enough to catch you, darling.”
He glowers and Maysa snorts, all worry for Klev momentarily forgotten, alongside inquires about RT’s powers. Jehona is too good at this. Hideyoshi stops in front of her chair, impossibly tall from this angle. And, honestly, every angle she can reach at 1.65m. “Even if that were the case, you couldn’t possibly carry me, chīsame no yatsu.”
She leans forward, narrowing her eyes. “Say that last bit in Lukovian, coward.”
He leans down, resting his hands on the table. They’re practically nose to nose. “E vockël.”
Jehona gasps and, from somewhere behind Hideyoshi, Rumaysa snorts. Some best friend she is, laughing when an asshole calls her ‘little one’. Even RT wears an amused smile at that. Klev really found the day to abandon her. “Why don’t I shoot you and then we’ll find out if I can or can’t carry you, you abominable shit giraffe?”
“Can an ant carry a giraffe?”
She scowls. “If the ant tears it to pieces first, it sure as fuck can.”
Hideyoshi straightens with such a saccharine smile, her teeth hurt. “Why so irritable, chīsame no yatsu?”
“Listen here, you uncivilized dickheaded gargantuan,” she starts, ready to inflict bodily harm. Luck, however, seems to favor him as the door slams open at that moment with a bang that has RT starting and Rumaysa glowering.
Chapter 12
(HIDEYONA, HIDEYONA!)
Danger
Rumaysa rolls into the bunker with a disapproving frown, ready to chide Dezi further for wandering. Until she catches sight of Kass clutching him, silently crying and Jehona by her side, smiling like an idiot. She looks from her to her cousin and her cat, then shakes her head. “Nevermind. Seems like I’m already asleep.”
Afraid not, Jehona signs.
The rumble of her wheels sends Kass’ heartbeat through the roof. Rumaysa draws nearer with the sort of look anyone with a grain of common sense wouldn’t want to be directed at them and, fine, Kass is terrified. Dezi wiggles out of her arms as if sensing danger and not wanting to be caught in the crossfire and even Jehona takes a step back when Rumaysa cranes her neck and addresses her by her full name. “Kassiani Trantis.”
Kass swallows. She is screwed.
“How dare you—“ her voice cracks and Kass sees her eyes well with tears. “How dare you not hug me after all these years—“
She doesn’t wait for Rumaysa to finish, dropping to her knees and throwing her arms around her umzadya.
“—you asshole?” Rumaysa finishes with a sob on her shoulder.
Chapter 13
Excite
They clamber to their feet slowly, stiff as Jehona pushes thoughts of an angry Rumaysa from her mind with a shudder. Up on their feet, they’re a head taller than her, all gangly limbs and awkward posture. Most probably a recent growth spurt then. With a messy head of very wet brown strands, blue eyes, and a smarting of faint freckles on their cheeks, they remind her inexplicably of a puppy. A very excited puppy.
“I’m RT,” they say, extending a hand and almost hitting her arm. “Non-binary.”
She smiles despite herself, grasping his hand and shaking twice. “Jehona. A very kind woman, as you can tell.”
They laugh at that, allowing her to place their hand on the crook of her elbow, effectively getting them out of the rain. “Thank you, Jehona. I was starting to lose hope of making it back home tonight.”
“You didn’t. It’s dawn.”
Chapter 1
Suspect
Jehona looks then and what she finds on his face stuns her. It is understanding, written plainly on the arch of his brow and the line of his lips, in the way he looks at her, all of the pieces she’d laid bare for his inspection and does not flinch or judge or hate, as she’d expected him to. “Look at what you’ve done,” he says quietly, running a hand through his hair. “How can I hate you when you’re just like me?”
Her chin trembles.
“Really, siren.” Hideyoshi smiles a small, heavy smile. “That was rather rude of you.”
An inexplicable spark warms her chest, chasing away the terrible cold. “For what it’s worth, I am sorry for what I did to Tomoki and Yukito.”
“I’m not the one you should be apologizing to.”
She snorts. “Well, yes, but I suspect if I went to apologize to them, I’d have injured them for nothing since your clan members would most definitely kill me on sight.”
Chapter 12
(HIDEYONA, HIDEYONA!)
Sick
By the time the parsen is done, the house around her is sparkling clean and orderly, their little dining table set and ready, and Jehona a mess of nerves and anxiety. She has worked herself up into a frenzy and she is sick of it. This must be how her dad felt last night. His anger makes so much more sense now.
Restless energy plagues her and she takes to pacing the length of the living room. Her injured leg throbs dully; she’s overworked herself in her measly attempts to pass time. Jehona plops on the couch, stretching her leg out, and sighs deeply. She is being ridiculous. The events of the previous night have set her on edge and she’s letting hypotheticals get to her. It won’t be long until her father comes back, whining about how he’s ravenous and all will be well. There is no good reason for them to dispatch Captain Trantis’ squad to the third district. They’re usually assigned to the sixth district and they do a damn good job of keeping order there. Whatever reason the President-General has for sending men into that district, he surely wouldn’t endanger good capable men. Not with the threat of Austeria hanging over Lukovia like an axe ready to drop. Avniel may be many things but a fool he is not.
Chapter 4
Safe
Klevis just sighs. “Now that’s out of your system, back to my genius idea. Jehona is going to live with Hide.”
“Klev, dearest, weren’t you harping on about me needing to be safe?” Jehona points at Hideyoshi’s glower. “Does that look like someone who won’t kill me the first chance he gets?”
“I am no murderer.”
“With the right incentive, everyone is.”
Hideyoshi only glares harder. “Fine, then I won’t sully my hands with your blood.”
“You sure about that?” Jehona smirks. “A hasty conclusion, given you haven’t even heard of my latest nefarious deeds.”
He narrows his eyes. “What did you do?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know.”
“This is getting a little out of hand,” RT comments. “Any grownups want to intervene?”
Rumaysa snorts. “Sorry, RT. Those are in short supply around here.”
“Klevis, what did she do?”
Klev shrugs. “How am I supposed to know? Is this about those four Nonaka girls who breached your house?”
Chapter 8
Solid
She shifts in her wheelchair now, finally pulling the infernal device off of her leg and dumping it aside unceremoniously. “Not that I’m not eternally grateful to have found you two there—“ Rumaysa meets Jehona’s eyes, deciding to bite the bullet, so to speak, “—but what were you doing in the third district?”
Her best friend’s anger has always been something akin to spears of solid ice and has been used as such: with calculation and precision. And rarely has it surfaced, a trait Jehona shared with her mother. Both were too adaptable and solution-oriented to be sweeped by emotions. Except for tonight, apparently.
“We?” Jehona’s voice is a burning brand, in the way something too cold feels hot to the touch. “What were you doing there, Rumaysa? Do you think this is a fucking game? That shithead would’ve killed you!”
Rumaysa finds she doesn’t have much patience tonight. “I asked first.” She says matter-of-factly, eliciting a snort from Klevis. Rumaysa can’t quite tell if it’s from amusement or disbelief. It seems he himself can’t either.
Chapter 5
Some of these are a little too long (yes, I’m talking about the Hideyona bits) sue me. I’ll pass this on to @writingamongther0ses, @sleepy-night-child, @fictional-semantics, and anyone else who thinks they can find these words in their manuscripts: smooth, shatter, sliver and smirk.

Zombie Au:
A Whole New World
Chapter 2: Taunting Smile
Inspired by SOCKS Zombie Au on twitter (their @ is o0oSocko0o https://twitter.com/o0oSocko0o?s=21 you should definitely check them out they’re so talented and amazing)
Sapnap’s Pov:
Cold. As the rain poured from the sky, he shivered. It had been several weeks since the incident. After seeing the burning bodies, he had gone as far away from that neighborhood as possible. He had no clue how long he had driven for, or where he was exactly. All he knew was that the world was in shambles.
A couple days ago his car had broken down. Frustrated he had grabbed all of his supplies and had stormed down the road he had been driving on. Now he was still on the path, letting the road carry him to his destination. He had passed a sign saying he was entering Georgia, so that was a sign that he had gotten somewhere.
He had no clue where he was in Georgia, but he still pushed forwards. The rain beat down furiously, causing his vision to become hazy. As a loud crack of thunder roars from above, he jumps a bit, his shoulders hunching up and then going back down.
It was tiring being all alone. Going along some unknown path in the hopes of coming upon another gas station or building to stay at for a while. It was also tiring not knowing if any of his family was okay. After getting out of his neighborhood, he had gone to any of his relatives places in Texas that he could. But with every stop came disappointment and fear.
Any amount of sleep he was able to get nowadays was always filled with nightmares, the same dream playing in his head every night. Shuddering he tries to push it out of his head, the amount of times the scene would replay tormenting him. It always was the same thing. He was stuck, stuck on something watching everyone being ripped and torn apart by those maniacs.
As the rain comes down even harder, he grunts. Looking around for shelter, he stomps his feet, pausing in his tracks. There was nothing around him to even provide him a tiny bit of peace from the chaotic storm. He was in a field, and everything around him was just grass and wheat.
Deciding he needed a break, he walks over to the edge of the road, sitting down trying to ignore the water soaking even more into his pants. Shimming his backpack off, he rips it open, grabbing a granola bar and shoving it into his mouth. Angrily chewing, he stares off into the field of wheat.
‘If only this was like minecraft’ he thought.
After finishing his granola bar, he pulls his knees up and places his head down. As the rain cascades down his back, he tries to focus on his breathing. Everything was too much, it was too stressful, especially all by himself.
He missed his family, he missed his computer, hell he missed his college classes. Now he was abandoned, his family could very well be dead for all he knows.
Balling his hands up, he presses them against his temple, lightly punching himself, trying to make everything go away. As his salty tears mix with the water that fell down upon him, a quick shuffle brings him out of his tantrum.
Quickly looking up, he squinted towards the field that sat in front of him. When nothing happens, he assumes that he was just hearing things. Grunting he stands back up, wiping at his eyes to try and get rid of the wet feeling, which didn’t quite work out like how he wanted it to due to the rain that continuously bombarded him.
Throwing his backpack back over his shoulder, he starts to head back down the road he was treading on earlier. Turning his back to the field, another noise rings out, once again sounding like shuffling. Quickly turning back towards the field, he grips the pistol in his back pocket.
Moving a bit forwards towards the wheat field, his grip on the pistol hardens. Slowly tiptoeing towards the rustling fields, he reaches the start of the wheat, pushing it aside a tiny bit. Looking around in the start of what was a vast field, he cautiously pulls out his gun and points it around. After a close inspection, he concludes nothing is wrong. As he turns back around to head back to the road, the shuffling intensifies. Before he can turn back around towards the field, something grabs him, pulling him down into the wheat.
Struggling on the ground, Sapnap furiously shakes around, trying to get whatever was on him off. Reaching for his pistol that he had dropped in all of the commotion, he grunts as his face is pushed into the ground, the smell of mud filling his senses.
As he continues to reach for the gun, his hand is suddenly pulled back. As his arm is twisted, he screams in pain, trying to get out of the grasp of whatever had him. As the rain clears up, the slight drizzle makes it easier to see. Trying to turn around, he’s able to move his head to look behind him.
“Turn back around” a voice demands. Squinting, Sapnap takes a good look at the man that was on top of him before obeying his orders.
As the person behind him rips off his backpack, he feels them get up and move away. Slowly pushing himself up, Sapnap turns around, kneeling on the ground facing his attacker.
“Dude your stuffs shit” the guy scoffs, before zipping back up the backpack and putting it over his shoulder.
Staring at the man who was in front of him, Sapnap takes in his appearance. He was tall, and he wore a green hoodie that was very dirty. What startled Sapnap was that the man had a mask over his face. The mask was a faded white, spots of dirt and blood speckled here or there. It was attached to him by an elastic band that connected around his head, and the mask seemed to be made out of some sort of hard material. What really terrified Sapnap though was the design on it. It was a simple smiley face, but the more and more he stared at it, the more and more he felt uneasy, as if the mask itself was taunting him.
“Get up!” the man barks, yanking Sapnap up by his arm. Struggling to stand, Sapnap gets thrown around, the man gripping his arm tightly.
“Stand there” the masked man orders, rustling in his pocket for something.
Standing there, Sapnap looks around, trying to figure out which direction he should run in, if he goes towards the road he’ll be out in the open, but he wouldn’t get lost. If he ran through the field, he would be hidden, but he would most likely get caught, and one wrong move would cause him his life.
“I wouldn’t think of running,” the blonde haired masked man hums, taking out some rope from his pockets, “you wouldn’t last a single second no matter where you go” he points out, pointing his gun at Sapnap.
“Why are you doing this?” he asks, putting his hand up, not wanting to risk getting shot.
“Because,” the man laughs out, grabbing Sapnaps hands and forcing them together, tying them tightly with his rope, “if I don’t do this shit, I’m gonna get screwed by my group. It’s already bad enough that I don’t finish the supply hunts by myself, I can’t chance fucking up, simple”.
After securing the knot of the rope around Sapnaps wrists, the masked man tugs harshly at the rope, causing Sapnap to stumble forward. Catching himself with his feet, Sapnap glares towards his captor.
“Come on, let's go” the man tells him, yanking the rope forwards.
With Sapnap following behind like cattle, the masked man drags them through the field of wheat. Nervously looking around, Sapnap tries to stay aware of his surroundings. Going through the field was a risky task, especially since getting lost was so easy, and if one of those maniacs came charging through the wheat, he would definitely be dead.
“Why so glum?” the smiley faced person calls out, turning his head to face Sapnap.
“Lets see, you just stole all of my shit, and kidnapped me. I’m sorry I’m not in the best mood. Not to mention you’re going through a damn field, you know how many maniacs could be hiding in here ready to jump us”
“Maniacs?” the masked man wheezes, laughing at the top of his lungs, “You call those things maniacs, what kind of fucking group are you in man, maniacs thats the dumbest name I’ve heard yet. No wonder you were by yourself, I bet you and your group were a bunch of highschool students who struggled in their English class”
“I’m actually alone, I’ve been alone this whole time” Sapnap whispers, lowering his head down. The laughter of the man who was leading him with a rope dies down, and the once joyful man stays silent. As time goes by, Sapnap stumbles along following the smiley faced man, trying to keep up with the pace he was going out. No words spoken between the two, just silence.
In a burst of confidence, Sapnap raises his head, taking a deep breath, he calls out to the blonde haired man, “What do you call them, ya know the dead? You have a better term than maniac since you think mine is stupid?”
In response the man scoffs, a series of giggles falling from his lips, “We just call them death walkers, they’re dead and they walk, pretty self-explanatory.”
“Death walkers, that’s so boring. At least maniacs has a ring to it” Sapnap scoffs, stepping over an ant pile, “And you don’t even know if they’re really dead”
“No I guess not, but when these things don’t have a pulse and can literally be split in half, I would say a lot in a person dies after that. From what I’ve seen these things just want to tear into warm flesh, they crave it ya know. Not like a cannibal, no something worse than that. Maybe they’re just crazy people, but even crazy people can think and have choices, and these things, they don’t think or have choices”
“Well they’re still people” Sapnap mumbles, staring at the blonde haired boy in front of him.
“People?” the masked man snickers, quickly turning around to face the brown haired guy, “Those things aren’t people” he spits before yanking Sapnap by the rope, bringing him closer to him; face to face, or more like face to mask.
“You listen to me, and you listen to me now, those aren’t human”, he snarls, the dull white mask and its smiley face almost touching Sapnap’s face, “Those things will kill you, as fast and as slow as they want. They aren't human, humans have choices, humans can decide for themselves what they want to do. These things don’t give a single shit about who they’re killing, all they want to do is eat. They don’t think, they don’t decide, they’re just drawn by the blood, and then their stomach does the rest for them; drives them to you, a piece of flesh for their enjoyment. If you think those things are people, then I’m so glad you’re gonna be killed by real people then whatever imaginary fantasy you had. You said you’ve been alone this whole time, well any hope of you reuniting with your family should just disappear from your damn brain. I’ve seen it happen, I know what it’s like to wish for something that’ll never happen, and to see them turn and tell you that they still are human, and then see how they don’t hesitate to eat, because that's all they want to do!” he barked.
With glossy eyes, Sapnap stares back at the masked man, the mask covered in dirt and blood with that damned smiling face making his stomach drop.
“You’re gonna kill me aren’t you” he whispers, tears streaming down his face. As the blonde haired man backs away, lowering his head down, Sapnap accepts that he doesn’t have much longer to live.
