finally sending my busted old montblanc in for repairs after sitting on it for over a decade everyone wish me a not too expensive quote

#fountain pens #it was properly messed up. i spent a long time trying to fix it myself to little avail #its so special to me i really wanna see it working again someday and parts for its particular make are SUPER RARE #old man gave my mom a big bag of old pens as thanks for her help back when she worked at the bank and she gave it to me #and the montblanc was the one fountain pen in there and it was like a magical treasure to me #especially cus the nib feels SOOO good. it feels amazing #i can only assume the old man was left handed cus it's worn down in such a perfect way for me specifically #also embarrassing and sad but the damage was entirely caused by 14 year old me trying to take apart the piston to clean it #its my one big regret #whenever i think about the time machine to go back and fix something scenario the first thing that comes to mind is this pen #going back to teen me and saying PUT THE PEN DOWN IT LITERALLY JUST NEEDS TO SOAK IN SOME WATER AND A LITTLE FRESH SILICONE GREASE #my bemoanings

Fic prompt: The Pink Ladies and the T-Birds become convinced that Cynthia’s dating someone and won’t leave her alone until she tells them so she freaks out and tells them she’s dating Buddy

Immediately afterwards she rushes to Buddy’s house and pretty much goes “hey so I know that I’ve told you over and over again how much I hate you but can you pretty please pretend to date me” and he’s like ok fine but you owe me

And so the entire thing is just those two fumbling around trying to convince everyone that they’re dating (which is much harder for Cynthia than it is for Buddy) and the two of them becoming actual friends

i gotta be honest, while i loved dungeon meshi and i'm glad it had this effect for other people, i definitely do not have the 'senshi in my brain has inspired me to eat better' effect. senshi in my brain will be like 'you should have a balanced and nutritious breakfast' and my lazy ass will be like 'okay but: the instant gratification of eating like 5 cookies'

however, LGR's cooking channel DOES make me want to make sandwiches.

blehhh my estrogen levels were like twice what we were aiming for so they gotta lower my dose... I do have a family history of cardiac disorders tho so the hard & I drilled into myself with the imperative to "live a long & truthful life" is doing me good...

anyhow. got my tblockers which is epic. do have 2 wonder why my levels were twice what they were expected to be, considering I was, as prescribed, injecting intramuscularly .25ml of 20mg/ml estradiol once weekly alongside my prog & spiro... I'm very diligent with my medications, including my HRT, so I know without a doubt I was following the prescribed dosage regimen...
