OR The soulmate AU where Liam and Theo have soulmarks that reveal each other’s names once their bond is strong enough or one of them dies, set during the events of 6A finale and 6B.

My first ever Thiam drabble lol

A/N: This might not exactly fall under the Soulmates AU for #thiamweek, but I do have a cute little drabble for you guys! And please, be kind because I hardly ever post any of my work anywhere, xD. Enjoy!!

 Fall has finally begun to show it's colours in Beacon Hills. To the dark grey skies, to the orange leaves filling the yards and driveways of every house and business. The crisp air hitting your nose and smelling the smoke of leaves burning off in a distance. This was Theo Raeken's favourite time of the year. He sat outside, bundled in a fluffy duvet and a cup of coffee in his hands. The view from his apartment wasn't the best. He could easily see inside a neighbor's apartment and a cat planted right at the sliding door. Toys were strewn about another neighbor's yard. Theo considered how lucky he was to have been able to get the apartment in the first place. A smile grew on his face when he remembered the day he signed the lease.

“Wait... You want me to what?” The shorter werewolf choked out, mouth half full of the cereal he had been eating. The chimera smirked, hopping off the counter where he was sitting. He sat down at the table and took Liam's hand into his, a glimmer of hope in the chimera's eyes.

“I want you to co-sign on that apartment with me.” A wave of heat rushed to Liam's face. He didn't know what to say. He and Theo had only been together for 6 months and this was a big step in their relationship. “So, what do you say?”Theo pushed for an answer, trying to find it etched on Liam's face. Liam couldn't stop thinking about leaving his parents house. All the nights and times he's had to sneak Theo in and out. He wouldn't have to sneak out anywhere. Wouldn't have to lie about where he was going or who he was seeing. It made Liam grin widely.

“Let's do it.” Theo's eyes lit up at the beta, pulling him into an embrace and kissing his temple.

Theo hadn't realized how long he was lost in thought until he heard his own sliding glass door open and a groggy Liam emerged outside with a cup of coffee in his hand. “Good morning,” Theo welcomed his boyfriend. The beta smiled sleepily and brought the cup to his mouth. The smile on Theo's face never ceased as he reached across the arms of the chairs he and Liam were in, caressing the growing belly that had begun showing on his boyfriend. Theo will never forget that day. That day where he finally got to begin his new life and with someone to spend the rest of his new life with.

A Peek Inside:  Soulmates were a cosmic joke. Liam was sure of it. He didn't see the point in having a soulmate if it was so damn hard to find them. Surely, if two people were destined to be together they should be able to find each other easily, they should know the second they meet. It shouldn't be left to this pitiful hell of chance.

Notes: This story is a bit sad, and it hurts. But it is sooo good!
