you should watch alien stage 😁 it’s a really wholesome and heartwarming web series on YouTube by VIVINOS. Nothing bad happens! And I think that you would like it!

So before I checked out Alien Stage, I asked an irl about it to get a feel for the series. They jokingly described Alien Stage to me as "Hunger Games with doomed yuri and yaoi plus some toxic het on the side", and after catching up with the playlist of hits... yeah, that's pretty accurate. I'm so invested in this now 🤡

I have Ruler of My Heart stuck in my head, specifically this English cover of it! To probably no one's surprise, I'm really gravitating to Luka... WHAT CAN I SAY, I LOVE ANGELIC LOOKING CHARACTERS WITH PRINCELY AND CHARISMATIC PERSONAS THAT ARE ACTUALLY SO MANIPULATIVE AND SCUMMY. AFSLFAYOEFIYFAEEAF; AND HOW CAN I NOT ADORE A GUY THAT PULLS THSI KINDA FACE:

I think part of his charm is that contrast between how he's seen as a "prince" by his fans when he's anything but. The artists outdid themselves with the MV; it perfectly conveys how truly terrible Luka is. I was so uncomfortable watching the video play out. The way he progressively creeps closer and keeps invading Mizi's personal space, taunting her, imitating her dead bestie/crush, putting his hands all over her, AND THAT GROSS WHISTLE HE DOES IN THE BEGINNING???? That made my skin CRAWL. Luka is for real so awful and I love that for him-- MIZI WAS RIGHT TO SWING AT HIM, IT WAS CATHARTIC 💀

I wanna give big props to Mizi's facial expressions too... They're so despair-filled and delicious, even when it's just her widened eyes repeating on the screen. The animation specifically for the line "I don't believe you're a liar" is top tier 👌 It's nothing fancy, but it conveys just how distressed Mizi is and how that's impacting her ability to sing. The way she gulps is so punchy and visceral. THE HATE IN MIZI'S EYES AS SHE'S RESTRAINED FROM COMING AT HIM AGAIN???? Good stuff. The twist at the end where the stage gets smoke bombed (?) and Mizi is rescued by the rebellion was great too. It robs Luka of the satisfaction of seeing his rival gunned down and him being declared as the victor. (P.S. I thought Hyuna was Jamil when I first saw her design; this is proof that Jamil has cool onee-san energy/j) Super looking forward to seeing Luka square off against Till, who is another favorite of mine. The eyebags— Till the End is probably my second favorite song so far; it's so intense in the close-up shots of Till singing his heart out to the audience. (Poor Mob-kun though, bro's getting DESTROYED out here...) I admire Till's fighting spirit but at the same time I feel so bad every time he's subdued 💦 Whereas I want Luka to get knocked down a peg, I want Till to find happiness and safety...

I don’t think Eren cares much about that or at least he doesn’t until you explain to him that he needs to ask before pulling the shower curtain open and randomly jumping in. “You said you were gonna take a shower, y/n, and I wanted to come and see.” With pouty eyes.

He calls you a bunch of times during the day, just so you can be on facetime together. You don’t even have to speak much, especially if you’re at work. He just wants to feel closer to you. (You can also read the clingy!bf eren headcanons!)

Eren has the time of his life when you’re going grocery shopping together. He’s being goofy and tries to get you to only buy snacks or asks you the most random questions about this thing he read in the ingredient list and you’re – somehow – supposed to know the answer. But the real reason he’s enjoying himself is that he’s lowkey upsetting you, and he finds it hot when you’re angry. That man needs a therapist, I swear.

DEMANDS cuddles. He doesn’t have to beg for them, but he likes to think he can get them anytime he wants to. Which is true, but you feel me. You don’t need to be persuaded to cuddle him.

He’s bought you guys matching cups for your morning coffee but, at some point, he decided he preferred your cup and proceeded to stealing it from you every now and then.

At first, you didn’t take him for a guy who gossips, he always seemed so ignorant about it. That was until you had some work/friend drama and you didn’t update him on the new deets. Frankly, you didn’t want to, talking about this topic drained emotionally. “But I need to know, y/n! What did his bitch ass say to Caitlyn? You shouldn’t be keeping it to yourself, come on, spill!” He’d taken the seat across from you on the couch and demanded that you tell him all about it.

He sees nobody else but you. You might bring it up in conversation that this person seemed to be interested in him or that they paid extra attention or whatever, but he honestly hadn’t noticed. He was busy watching you have fun wherever you were at and taking pictures of your cute face.

Will send you unsolicited d*ck pics. He was at the gym and he looked good, what’s your problem? “Didn’t see you complaining the other day now, did you?” “Just warn me before you send me that kind of photos, Eren, I’m working!” He might give it a second thought next time.

He makes so much noise, it’s embarrassing. Especially when you stumble upon your neighbours the morning after. But Eren is so proud of his loud ass and takes greater pride if manages to get you to be louder than him. The man is so whipped, he actually believes only the two of you exist. Everyone else is just here to fill up the simulation or something.

Eren unironically suggest that you film yourselves during it. Which isn’t gonna happen of course, but he’s convinced you’d be so good at it “people would pay to watch it”. Honestly, he knows he’s really pretty, and so are you. You’re like a top modle power couple in his eyes. It’s his arrogance speaking.

Connie Springer

I feel like connie is the type to text you the most random things throughout the day, from his food to the receipt he got from a convenience store because “you won’t believe how much they charged me for a tube of pringles babe!”

He will call you because he tried to cook dinner and misplaced some ingredient only for you to tell him you’d never had that ingredient to begin with. Turns out he confused the name of said spice/sauce and was looking for an everyday item, like black pepper or something. Baby boy was so ready to come at you because “we’ve ALWAYS had horseradish, y/n, WHERE IS IT??”

He looks up at you a lot, especially if your interests don’t collide. It’s not necessarily that he wants to learn from you (the way Armin would for example) but he’s really curious about anything you say you’re interested in and just wants to be included, you know?

Say you like this particular film genre, he’s made it his life’s mission to check if such a film was out in theatres and he forwards you the links so you can decide if you want to go watch it together.

He’s very open about his friend group and invites you to join them even early on in the relationship. He’s the type of guy with minimal boundaries, not in a bad way of course, just in the sense that he’s not private about his friends or hobbies etc. He wants you to know about him, same way he wants to know about you.

You know, I hate it when people make Connie be a pothead and nothing but that (if you’ve read the domestic!connie headcanons you know all about it) but I can’t deny that he does strike me like the guy who loves his mari. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how he originally confessed to you too. He’s not shy, on the contrary, but maybe you were hanging out at his place or with his friends, casually passing smoke when he admitted that “I’ve had my eye on you for ages, but I never knew how to bring it up in conversation”. You giggled for ages at his words, because who would’ve thought that he just didn’t know how to come about it, right?

Connie wakes you up in the middle of the fucking night to show you a funny video of a raccoon and be like “that you, y/n hehe”.

He also wakes you up in the middle of the night because he popped a boner and needs your attention. I think he’d play all pouty like “this only happens because I’m dating you, the hottest person in the world, y/n...”

I KNOW he whimpers, okay? I’ve heard him. But if you point it out, he’ll play coy and deny it.

BETTER THAN REVENGE! ━━━ tooru oikawa & rintarou suna

14. we game? ♡

You sit behind the camera on a black chair with your name on it, a notebook rest on your knees. On your right, Rin's pulled his chair up close and is looking at your notebook, copying what you write into his own. On your left, Atsumu bounces his knee up and down as he intensely focuses on the scene. He's been told off three times by the director for invading his personal space, much to you and Rin's embarrassment.

The director yells out, announcing they would be taking a ten minute break to regroup and get touch-ups on makeup. Almost instantly, Atsumu is on his feet. He yells he'll be back whilst racing to the door, almost tripping over the loose wires on the floor. Rin yells out a series of curses at his friend, shaking his head in disappointment.

"Why the fuck did we take him? Where is he going so urgently?" he mutters, leaning back in his seat and stretching out his cramping hand.

You keep writing in your notebook, shrugging one of your shoulders without sparing him a glance. "More booze, probably." You straighten up, read over what you've written, and look at Rin with a smile. "I've got an idea for this scene already. We can have a rap session later, if you're up for it?"

"Yeah, rap session sounds good. What have you got?"

You show him the notebook, your attention being stolen by the director waving you over from your chair. You flash a smile at him, excusing yourself from Rin and making your way over towards the director. You take a quick glance at the name on the back of his chair before stopping by his side.

"Have you found any of this useful? If this method doesn't work we can try-"

"No, this is working really well," you cut him off, waving your hands. "I actually have ideas for this scene already. So, they're obviously going to get into this huge argument, and all through the back of the lead-up, the song will be really slow, calm, and then when they start fighting, that's when the beat drops and the sing picks up the pace and gets really angry. Um, we have a few songs that go like that already, but none of them would fit this scene. I've been taking notes, I hope that's okay. It's just so later on we can have a rap session and-"

Takahashi cuts you off by holding up a finger, instantly shutting you up. You try not to retract into yourself when you feel haunting presences on either side of you. "Sorry, l/n, to interrupt. But I was thinking that Oikawa and Sato could have a sit-down meeting with the band. That way, they can talk to you about their characters and give you as much information possible to make the soundtrack that much more accurate. What do you say?"

You take a step back so you can face the newcomers, your heart falling into your stomach. "Oh, that's... Um, we don't-"

"I think it's a great idea!" Emiko exclaims with a grin, wrapping an arm around Oikawa's. She outstretches a hand for you to shake. "We haven't met properly. I'm a huge fan! What are the chances of this, right? I mean, I didn't think that you guys would accept when I suggested REVIVAL."

Your jaw drops at her statement. "What? You recommended us?"

An arm wraps around your neck, Rin giving Emiko as fake of a smile as he could muster. "Wow. I have to say, that's a bit of a surprise."

An awkward laugh slips past Oikawa's lips. "I was surprised too. We don't have to have meetings or anything. I don't want you to feel awkward or uncomfortable in the workplace."

Immediately, you straighten yourself up and wrap your arm around Rin's waist. You smile widely up at Oikawa. "We have no reason to feel uncomfortable. Do you feel uncomfortable, Rinnie?"

He shakes his head and agrees with you, matching your expression. "Nope. Not unless Oikawa had any ill feelings about it. Do you?"

Emiko looks up at him expectantly, trying to fight her smile from growing any wider.

"Not at all."

"Great. How about tomorrow after we finish up? We'll let Atsumu know," you say, looking over your shoulder when the door swings open behind you. Atsumu steps in slower than expected considering the amount of force he put into opening the door. He carefully strides over to you, and you have to stop yourself from laughing. "Um, I'll go... See what's wrong."

Rin pats you on the back as you walk away, raising your eyebrows at the guitarist. Suspiciously, you stop him from walking any further. "What's wrong with you?"

Atsumu shrugs his shoulders innocently, looking around himself. "Nothing."

"You look like you've shit yourself."

He gasps, crossing his arms over his chest. "Ya look like ya grown a boyfriend." He cringes, shrinking back into himself at his words. "I mean..."

"Rude much? Your breath stinks. Did you..." You look behind yourself to where Rin still stands with the others, appearing to be scaring the shit out of Oikawa. You lower your voice, leaning in closer to take a proper smell. "God, you did. How much did you drink?"

He shrugs his shoulders. "Had to make up for the fact I won't get many more breaks," he mumbles, ducking his head.

Shaking your head, you hand him a stick of gum before approaching Rin once again. "Sorry. He's actually a child. But we're all game if you are?"

Through gritted teeth, Oikawa plasters on a smile. "Perfect. See you tomorrow."

like i love the idea of ghost being withdrawn and uncomfortable with physical touch a lot of the time given the horrific trauma he's been through in his life. and we're not talking the quiet kind of nervous uncomfortable, we're talking the makes-his-skin-itch-and-if-the-wrong-person-touches-him-he'll-put-his-fist-through-their-face kind of uncomfortable.

but when it's someone he loves, someone he feels safe with? he's gonna be fucking all over them. not necessarily in a grossly PDA kinda way, because that's not him, but in a quietly possessive kind of way.

he'll keep a hand on you always, he'll walk super close to you, linger so close behind you that you can feel his big chest pressed to your back. loves putting his hands on your waist and hips, because he feels like his palms just fit so nicely in the curve of your body. gets a real fucking kick out of how soft you are, especially in comparison to the enormous bulk of his own body, which is mostly all hard planes and angles.

he's touch-starved, though he's not necessarily aware of it. enjoys contact with his team; a hand on his shoulder from price, soap invading his space, gaz clapping their hands together after an op well done. they're people that he trusts, so he enjoys the contact once he settles into it.

i also headcanon that he has a super sensitive scalp and reallyyyy likes when you play with his hair, because it's one place that no one ever really touches.

he loves soft things, and he wants to crawl inside your skin and burrow down in your chest. since that's not possible, he'll just have to settle for laying his whole body across you with his full weight, crushing your bodies together until you're wheezing from the pressure. he just wants to absorb you right up

Cool. On the other hand there's a decline in kudos and comments. People consume fic like they're paying for it and don't interact with the person that's writing the fic. So yeah, no. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with wanting engagement in return for your fic. If writers were just writing for themselves they wouldn't put it on ao3. Writers want to share their work with the fandom. And the fandom silently takes and doesn't even have the decency to leave feedback.

i have never once said that wanting engagement is a bad thing. i want engagement on my fic. that’s why i reblog it over and over when i post it.

what i personally think is bad, is this trend of people saying they won’t post a fic until they get 500 more followers etc etc. because that’s not asking for engagement on your fic. that’s using your fic - or art, or whatever it is - to farm engagement for your twitter account. how does 500 more followers get you more kudos or comments on a fic? because i promise you, when my fic gets recommended on twitter, it doesn’t give me any extra kudos or comments. hits, maybe. so it’s incredible disingenuous to pretend that holding back posting fic to hit a follower goal or a certain number of likes on a twitter is something inherently good or something that’s going to actually get fic writers more feedback on their work.

and if you had read my post in full (which i assume you didn’t based on how you’ve interpreted it) you’d already know that for me, the truly uncomfortable thing here, is the contentification and commodification of fic and how that relates to the way capitalism is invading fandom spaces and how this hawking your fic for engagement just feels like another way of monetising a hobby, and sorry to be all radical left wing about it but I don’t think you should have to monetise your hobbies. I also don’t think you should be using your fic as a way to become some sort of fandom influencer and hit certain following numbers, but call me old fashioned.

people not leaving comments on fic is an entirely separate issue - and truly, from my experience in the 911 fandom, I always get comments on my fic. some more than others, sure, but I’ve never posted a fic that didn’t get some kind of feedback. we all post our fic on ao3 to share it and because we like attention, yes, but if you’re angry enough that you seem think fic should only operate on some sort of a quid pro system where every hit has to result in a comment, I’m not sure you’re writing for the love of it - and I think you should write for the love of it. I love getting comments and I think feedback is an important thing to give writers you love but it makes me equally as happy to look at one of my fics and go wow, it’s got 1000 hits and that means 1000 people read my silly little fic and maybe it made their day a little better.

This is a genuine question (I’m not trying to sound demeaning or insensitive). If an online creator wants to be anon then why post a picture of themselves, then get uncomfy when they get recognized? Personally, if I was a fan of a certain writer and recognized them in a picture I would definitely say something to them because I would think it’s so cool that I’d seen them around.

because we're not ~online creators~ or influencers or celebrities or any of these things that certain readers seem to want to claim we are. we're literally just normal people with a hobby. posting a selfie online is not an invitation to have our privacy or space invaded. also the main issue in this situation is that the person who messaged han did it anonymously, which raises a huge red flag and is undeniably creepy. if someone had DMed her privately from their blog it'd be a different story. and as someone who saw the message firsthand, it was quite rude and worded in a really odd way that anyone would've found uncomfortable.

also, separate from what you said (but i think it needs to be stated), i would completely warn against going up to anyone you might recognize from an online space. dm them first, make sure they're okay with you knowing who they are and potentially wanting to say hi. being caught off guard like that can be really startling for a lot of people. especially because most of us keep our internet life and personal life very separate.

tldr; it's all about context and the comfort of the author. please reach out off anon if you recognize someone. be kind and understanding and treat them with respect.

They're sat in a similar way and move at the same/similar way. With their arms resting in the same way, chins up, then leaning forward. They're head is also tilting to in the same direction. A good indication that people get along and great to know if those people are happy in the relationship (whatever kind) at that moment.

When people spend a lot of time together and like one another, they tend to pick up certain mannerisms from the other. Way of sitting, ticks, doing the same motion at the same time, choice of words, etc. This is mirroring. They're also obviously very enthusiastic.

David waits and listens attentively. Leans his head a bit closer, stares off taking in what Michael is saying, and reacts to the conversation. He smiles when Michael laughs. Michael talks with his hands and smiles a lot, clearly comfortable enough to talk and express what he's saying.

MS answers - To read, David scoots closer to Michael, but Michael doesn't move away. When the question is asked, David crossed his left leg over his right and lays his left arm over it, then puts his right arm behind Michael. All his attention is on Michael and the rest can wait. He's blocking the outside, not out of uneasiness, but because all his focus is on Michael. He scoots up, turns his head to be able to see Michaels face clearly, and completely ignores anything outside of them.

His arm is touching Michael, leg and/or hand is touching Michaels leg, but David leaves space between his torso and Michaels arm, making not so overbearing. David is flirting/teasing Michael. They're both smiles and neither of them is uncomfortable with how close they are. When Michael puts his hand down (image 11) the space between his arm and David's torso becomes smaller, but again, neither of them pull back.

Content with the answer, David nods, smiles to the camera, adjusts his suit, and continues smiling as he turns to Michael, leaning into the chair and close to Michael. Adjusting the jacket could mean he really is just adjusting it, but with the smile at the camera and the faltering smile, makes me think he could have been on edge (nervous: 'what did I just do?') and calming himself down by putting a bit of distance. The next image if of him, smiling more proximately at Michael. Michael, is just staring at David with a smile. Just happy and amused at what happened.

His initial reaction is 'oh it's this…" his eyebrows are relaxed/not furrowed and his eyes are more open than usual. It doesn't piss him off. He's not angry that Michael is bring it up or not angry about what Michael did. It's just a realization. 23,24,25 David then relaxes his face as he looks up, remembering the event, with a smile. It's not an unpleasant memory. 26,27

Michael comments that the dance was hard for David and David furrows his eyebrows and says it wasn't difficult for him. David genuinely disagrees, but Michael got the reaction that he was hoping for. Michael smiles when David disagrees and goes on playfully that David made it look hard. 28,29,30,31,32,33

This is a happy memory for the both of them. Michael is having a blast as he's sharing and David is looking down with a smiling going over the event in his head, with a genuine smile. Fond, reminiscing smile. At the end. David laughs looking down (something he doesn't do often with Michael around). He's embarrassed and/or bashful. 38,39

There's a cut, then we see David with his arms crossed. Could be he's getting in a comfy position or that for some reason, he's closed off to answering the question. At the end, he never does give a answer. Michael says that being a nice person will cause people to be nice back and David laughs at this looking down. Again, could be embarrassment and not knowing what to do/say or disbelief of what Michael learned ('really? You just learned that?'). David and Michael both laugh and then Michael looks away.

There's an obvious huge difference between now and then.

Michael is not bothered at all with their proximity. Neither one of them move away or are stiff in order to not invade personal space. Michael, more than David, is more mindful of not going over the line, but he's still moving his hands around and turning to David to see him more directly. He continues to stare at David (when David is busy talking) and following David's movements with his head/eyes.

David doesn't avoid Michael anymore. He seeks out Michaels face, is somehow always leaning or moving closer to Michael he talks a lot more relaxed and has more tone in his voice. He also stares now, unlike before where he would stare off into nothing or at the camera/interviewer. He's more receptive to Michaels comments more often.

They're both relaxed with each other. Sitting close was probably not a choice. We see Nina and Maggie sitting just as close, but more upright and stiff, but with Michael and David, they're moving towards the other or in the same direction. They both make more eye contact and are playful, genuinely smile, add on, moving their hands when talking. There's familiarity now. Enough for them to be relaxed and take everything the other says playfully and expecting/hoping for a specific reaction.

I just got reminded of an experience of mine a year ago now that serves as a pretty good example of the kind of shit trans men, transmascs, and transneutrals often go through.

So I'm sitting with my new friends at the same spot in the hallway as always. We aren't exactly a small group. We're all different, but one thing that's obvious is that in the eyes of bullies we're all fucking losers.

So this one group comes up to us and starts to make fun of us. Every fucking day. Like clockwork. They're puny little shitheads who have barely started puberty. Their leader, who was shorter than me, couldn't even say "cavalry" correctly and was pronouncing it as "chavalry" for some fucking reason.

Every day, this kid and his buds come up and try to harass us, often by asking us about gay shit and asking me about my pronouns. Every day, I roast him and the group into oblivion and they sulk away to regroup and come back the next day.

One day, this kid is mad enough about me making him look like a small-dicked loser in front of his friends, that while walking away he calls out at me "I would fight you but I don't know if you're a boy or a girl"

He never acted on the threat thankfully (Probably cuz I literally chucked him out of a classroom), but the point still stands that this fucker and his friends were threatening to attack me for being trans.

This fucker and his friends looked at me, someone they knew had a vagina and tits, but used a deep voice and had short hair, and they couldn't tell if I were a binary tranny, a nonbinary tranny, or an ugly dyke. They wanted to beat me up for it, and also cuz my tranny/dyke self was making them feel emasculated.

This is the kind of shit that trans men, transmascs, and transneutral people put up with more often than some of yall realize.

We're still threatened with violence. Our existence makes perisex cis men uncomfortable, makes perisex cis women disgusted, and makes both scared for one reason or another. The more masculine an "afab" queer person is, the appropriate it is to beat the shit out of them. Because she's a man, right? If she wants to be a guy and wear guy's clothes and speak with a guy's voice, then she can take the fucking beating that we give her, because that's just what guys do.

So transmascs will walk into a queer space and become the emotional punching bag of insecure queers, and then turn around and walk into a cishet space and become the literal punching bag of insecure cishets. We just can't win.

Obviously the queer space is still safer, which is why we're still invading with our disgusting testosterone-filled bodies. But it isn't exactly fun to try and engage with people we see as "like us" (queer) only to be pushed away because we're men, and if we're men we never deal with oppression, right? We can handle violence, cuz that's what men do. As men, it's our job to let the ladies and fems verbally diminish us because they were hurt by men and so they have a right to take out their pain on us. If we don't agree to this, then we're misogynistic pigs, and then "trans men really are the men of the trans community".

Transmascs with functioning uterus' are conveniently left out of abortion rights discussions, and when we try to announce our presence we're told to shut up. Transmascs who are passing are conveniently left out of trans discussions, and when we try to announce our presence we're told that we don't count because we aren't oppressed because we fully pass now. Transmascs who don't pass are conveniently left out of safety discussions, and when we try to announce our presence we're told that we don't count because we pass as cis women, and cis women have more privilege than trans women. (That last one is a real line I've seen on this site btw)

Trying to say "I want acknowledgement" as a transmasc present at a more friendly queer space doesn't result in vitriol, but what happens instead is that there will be a "transgender recognition" night that has maybe one trans man if we're lucky, and then dozens of trans women and more feminine-looking nonbinary people.

I'm gonna cut this post off right here before I accidentally type out a full-blown book of all the gripes I got, but the point is that you can't apply the baby-level radfem idea of "man bad, woman good" to the queer community. It's dumb as fuck in the cishet world, and it's so much worse in lgbt spaces. Literally the point of being queer is to fuck with gender roles. This doesn't just mean everyone is feminine. You can't walk into a queer space and go "men are evil" without it affecting half of the queer population. Trans men aren't attacking trans women by saying "I want to be respected as a human being, please". Trans men aren't trying to trick gay men into fucking them by saying "I want to be respected as a gay man, please". Trans men aren't trying to trick lesbians into fucking them by saying "I want to be respected as a boydyke, please".

If everyone in the community were to take a fraction of the energy and love they dedicate to feminine queers and use it to "reach across the isle" and try to connect with and understand masculine queers, the community as a whole benefits. Also masculine queers deserve to be treated well even if it doesn't give good things to the entire community, cuz we're people too. We deserve decent treatment because we're human. Who woulda thought.

Sinner Adam and Lucifer hook up at some point and they have some sort of schrodinger relationship but the more Adam spends time with Lucifer, the more he becomes disillusion. Sure, the sex was nice, but Adam just find being with Lucifer exhausting, he keeps teasing him in a way that is just a little out of line, invading his personal space, trying to control him in little ways that just make him uncomfortable, to the point that the sex doesn't feels as good. On Lucifer part, it's not intentional malice, it's just he got issues and their messy history got him acting a sort of way. It just built up and eventually, during a hotee activity where they're doing "I' statement comunication and Lucifer went out of line and Adam just, straight up say he doesn't want to be with him, saying all his grieviances and ending with him saying he's leaving the hotel to seek redemption else where because he does not want to be here, the place where their toxic relationship start, he doesn't want to be around Lucifer, anymore

For Adam it had never been a problem to separate sex and feelings, one was simply for entertainment, the other caused more problems than the first man was able or willing to handle. For Lucifer that mindset didn’t apply, the devil was neither able nor willing to separate sex and feelings, one came with the other, it was a package deal. So to the devil it seemed quite normal to be close to Adam after their hook-up and even though the first man wasn’t really interested in being in a relationship with the person who ruined his life, the relationship did mean good sex. And don’t get him wrong, he liked Lucifer, the short king was quite handsome in the first man’s eyes, but he wouldn’t dare to call it love. Maybe that had to do with the fact that he had grown sort of scared of love because love meant commitment and the last time he was willing to commit himself to someone else it didn’t end well at all.

And yet there was certainly something going on between the blonde and the brunette - was it entirely one-sided? No. But Lucifer obviously did so much more to keep their relationship steady. Well, as steady as a depressed, mentally unstable person could.

And while Lucifer seemed to quite enjoy Adam’s company, Adam didn’t. To the first man Lucifer was more of a burden, it felt like the devil tried his hardest to make him feel like he was trapped in a golden cage even though he was meant to fly. Adam wanted to fuck around and find out but he wasn’t able to do that with Lucifer basically attached to his hip - whereever Adam went, Lucifer was right behind him. And it wasn’t in a cute ‘he just wants to spend time with his partner’ way, it was almost as if the blonde was watching Adam’s every move to make sure he behaved and the brunette hated it. He hated it with every cell of his body and yet he remained silent.

“Whatcha doin’~” the devil hummed in delight as he sat down on Adam’s lap. The brunette groaned, shoving the blonde off his lap, he simply needed some space, what was so hard to understand about that? “Trying to enjoy some fucking peace,” he grumbled in response, avoiding to look at the much smaller male. The short king however didn’t seem to understand that he was not welcome at the moment and simply flopped down onto the couch right next to Adam. It was only a moment later that Lucifer laid his head down on Adam’s lap, curious big eyes looking up at the first man. Adam wanted to scream, he wanted to tell Lucifer to fuck off and leave him alone for five fucking mintues, but he didn’t. He just sat there in silence, staring at the wall and hoping the king of Hell would leave. But he didn’t.

“Enjoying peace sounds good,” Lucifer mumbled as he squirmed his body, seemingly trying to get comfortable. Oh God have mercy, all Adam wanted was some alone time before Charlie’s next scheduled bonding exercise but the big G did not hear Adam because Lucifer stayed right where he was, without Adam’s consent.

The brunette sighed.

And then Charlie and her sinful friends entered the room as well, fucking great. The former angel was pissed off already, he wanted to push the devil away and lock himself in his room, but Charlie always gave him shit for skipping exercises and so did Vaggie and while Lucifer’s presence was bad, his former exorcist was worse. So he swallowed his anger and simply went along with whatever was about to come.

“Okay guys, today we’ll do something different,” the hellspawn said happily, clearly excited with what would follow - Adam immediately knew he wouldn’t like whatever the princess of Hell had planned. “To get to know each other better,” she looked at Adam while she said that, “We’ll be doing I statements, tell us something about yourself - whatever it might be.” That really didn’t sound too bad, Adam was great about talking about himself and there was plenty to tell. But before he had the chance to say anything, Lucifer spoke up and the brunette groaned again.

“I love the way Adam moans my name when I fuck him,” the devil grinned and while Angel seemed fairly interested in that, Charlie scrunched up her face in disgust, she clearly did not want to know shit about her father’s sex life and Adam really couldn’t blame her for that. The former angel himself snapped at the devil’s words though - he had heard enough, he had seen enough and he had enough of Lucifer in general. He harshly pushed the blonde’s head off his lap and before the smaller one was able to complain he got up from the couch.

“Okay you know what? Fuck you. You think you can fuck around without a care in the fucking world? Pushing my buttons like it doesn’t mean jack shit? Well, you very much fucking can’t, cunt,” he yelled at the blonde, towering over the king who was still laying on the couch. Lucifer’s face reflected the confusion he must be feeling and he looked quite vulnerable, but Adam did not care a single bit. “You keep pushing me around like a fucking slave, you talk about me like I’m your personal fucking sex toy and I’m fucking over that bullshit. I’m fucking over you. I’m a fucking person, y’know?” His anger turned into sarcasm, his body language made it oh so clear that he was so fed up by Lucifer and the way the devil treated their relationship. “What do you-” Adam cut Lucifer off.

“That’s what I’m fucking talking about, you don’t even fucking know that you did something wrong. You,” he turned around furiously to look at the devil’s daughter who had been surprisingly quiet. “You can eat dick and fucking die, try to redeem those cunts, you’ll fail. I’m fucking outta here.” The former angel snapped his fingers, a bag with his belongings packed appeared next to him. “And you,” he gave Lucifer one last look, his eyes were filled with disgust and hatred and so was his voice, “You stay the fuck away from me.” And with those last words he stormed out of the door, leaving the hotel behind.

He didn’t need redemption anyway, surely the angelic court would decide to bring Adam back to Heaven soon enough, maybe they already sent someone to seek for Adam in the overcrowded pride ring of Hell and they weren’t able to find him because he had been staying at Charlie’s useless excuse of a hotel. Adam didn’t need Charlie and her traitor girlfriend, he didn’t need their hotel filled with fuck-ups and he most importantly didn’t need nor want Lucifer.

Ice cube anon is a mood. Having f/os who you know for a fact that, at least initially, you would be scared of is. Something.

For me, it's my mild social anxiety. Almost all my f/os either fall into loud and boisterous and extroverted and oblivious to how they come off to a stranger, OR they're mysterious and intimidating and clever, so they'd, like, give you full attention and eye contact in a conversation because they're sizing you up and trying to learn as much about you as possible. (Or a little bit of both for my main)

There's just so much irony in it, I guess? I find f/os giving me direct eye contact INCREDIBLY attractive, when I know for a fact from experience that there were people I liked that I had trouble speaking to because the amount and kind of eye contact they gave me made me nervous. On a bad day, being in a social situation where the people around me are loud, even if friendly, I can end up just staring at the clock, waiting to leave.

My current main beloved is a salesman - a really loud, pushy, personal-space-invading one in canon (probably outing myself with that and the signoff... If y'all know, you know). And when I watch or read him doing his shtick, I find it endearing! But one of the only times I was approached by a sales guy in a mall and he tried to sell us something by testing a lotion sample on my hand (because he offered it and I said yes like an idiot), I nearly had a meltdown afterwards from how uncomfortable it made me.

I guess there's something about those traits I find more attractive in fiction because they scare me? Or because the parts of them that scare me don't apply (because I'm not actually interacting with someone directly)? Idk, I'm not a psychologist. It's just a fascinating little fact to me...

he's not very skilled at taking care of sick people. he just listens to what they want and ask for, and he doesnt try and bug them unless he truly feels like he needs to (ex. if someone is violently coughing their lungs out or throwing up)

Gluttony: he's reduced to a baby. thats it thats the tweet /j

he tries to stay in bed for the most part, but he does also do his regular work out routines and makes his own food. he typically just makes a stew or a salad for himself and only drinks warm things when he's sick. he's the type of guy that you kind of have to force into bed instead of running around and doing stuff

when it comes to taking care of others he coddles them a ton 😭. he makes their food, makes sure they're okay, and stays close so they don't have to go very far to ask for something. he'll encourage them to do some workouts with him but he respects it if they dont want to

Pride (guys pretend its yellow plz): he's dramatic asf but we love him. he complains a lot about his sickness and makes it known that he isn't happy about it in the slightest. unlike wrath he enjoys getting all the extra attention especially if they make him feel superior even while sick

when it comes to taking care of people it's kind of like tough love. he really only takes care of people he truly cares about and even after that it's followed with a "you should be glad i spent time out of my day to take care of you!" but he does take the time to actually make sure you're okay. he feeds you the medicine himself and probably tries to make you feel fancy, even if you're all stuffy and snotty

Envy: oh wow okay

envy's already kind of bad at taking care of himself, so when he's sick it's pretty bad. he has to practically drag himself out of bed to make himself food or to just use the bathroom, and he either forgets to take medication or takes an awkward amount of it. it's safe to say that a caregiver would benefit him, but he hates being a burden to anyone, and he doesn't like feeling vulnerable either

he worries a lot when it comes to taking care of another person while they're sick. he tries not to come off as pushy or annoying as he tries to make them feel better, but sometimes that doesn't work. he's not a great cook but he does follow some recipes for the person so they can at least eat some good food

Greed: ew. anyway

i think greed would probably hate being sick since he feels like nobody actually takes him seriously, which ticks him off because he likes to have power, and a lot of people don't take him seriously in the first place. he doesn't like to come off as weak either

however if he was taking care of someone else i feel like he'd be so overly nice it's uncomfortable. it feels more like a fake kindness than anything, and of course he'd find a way to fuck around with you any chance he could get.

Sloth: sloth is pretty prone to falling sick. he's very similar to envy, not really taking care of himself properly, but he does a lot of sleeping. i think he'd probably end up sleeping more than he already does while hes sick.

he's always kind of in a daze when he's sick. he's honestly in a daze in general but it seems like whenever he's awake he's dissociated or just delirious

he's pretty bad at taking care of people however he does have good intentions. he makes the bed as comfy as he can, but he is pretty lazy so he's probably not the best person to be taking care of someone. he does get the person whatever they want if they ask for it though.

Lust: he tends to be kind of dramatic too, but not as dramatic as pride. he loves self care and making sure that he's healthy, so he reminds himself to take medication and even logs when he takes it so he can measure how much time should pass before he takes another. he likes eating oatmeal and other soups for the most part, and he's likely drinking broth or some hot chocolate.

when he takes care of people he pampers them with everything they could possibly need. he logs everything in a notebook so he knows when the person needs to take more medication, and he's there for comfort and company. he feels pretty alone when he's sick, so he wants to make sure that the person feels happy despite not being in the best shape.

"Update" Blogs and Gossip

I think to an extent it makes sense that we would become attached to the music artists we listen to. Music is inherently a personal thing, and when they share that with us they share a part of themselves. I believe that it's okay to find comfort in a person and the stuff that they write. 

What I don't think is okay is trying to dig up more personal information than what they have already shared. What I don't think is okay is spreading rumors and gossiping about them, especially when it's negative. I don't think we deserve to know anything more than what they choose to share with us, and I have come across a few blogs that are dedicated to sharing information about music artists that they haven't shared themselves. These blogs may disguise themselves as "Update Pages", but I think that's a bit of a lie. It's not an update page if you're sharing rumors and gossip and trying to stir people up or cause a panic. The artists we love do not owe us anything. It is generous of them to share their music with us, and asking for or trying to find anything else is just outright selfish. You don't get to call yourself a fan of somebody if you're pushing past boundaries and trying to dig up information about the personal life that they intentionally keep private.

I know that the conversation around RPF (real person fanfiction) has always been pretty split up. Regardless of how you feel about it, I don't feel like it's right to bundle everybody who engages with it in some way into one group. 

Like anything else, it's always possible to take it too far. I don't necessarily see an issue in self-insert stuff, especially when it's not sexually charged in any way and is simply to find comfort and safety in. It does get a little more complicated when you start writing about personal relationships between real people, but I'm not going to talk much about that because that isn't the point of this post. I do find issue with people who only write RPF to share their extremely sexual fantasies with the internet. Personally, I find it as a form of objectifying someone--seeing them only as a sexual object and someone to have smut written about them. It makes me so uncomfortable to think that people are online making whole blogs with the purpose of writing inappropriate scenarios about people. I especially find issue with the objectification when it's involving a man, because everyone has seemed to agree somehow that that's not as bad as objectifying a woman, which is so far from the truth. I think it's alright to find a sense of comfort in someone and want to share that comfort with other people who may need it, but using your platform to write explicit (and honestly, usually inaccurate) stories about someone is such an uncomfortable thought. 

There is also a very hard line between fantasy and reality that needs to be taken into account. Even when the fanfics are sexual, it's so important to remember that it's not real. It is a fantasy, and it won't ever happen. There are some people who seem to believe that these are real things that could happen, which they aren't. It's sickening to hear about people who are sending these fanfics to the people they were written about, reaching out to them, invading their personal lives to try and--I don't know. Date them? I really don't understand the end goal here. It's totally okay and normal to fantasize about these things, especially for teenagers, but that's just the thing--they're fantasies. They are not reality, and there always needs to be a line between fandom spaces and the artists themselves. It is not okay to send sexually charged messages, or, God forbid, letters, to anybody. Ever.

I find this sentiment so inhumane, honestly. I understand that there are some incredibly rich, narcissistic billionaires who totally deserve to be disrespected, but for the most part our favorite artists don't fall into this category. They are real people with real lives and real feelings, and they do deserve respect and for their boundaries not to be crossed. That's it. End of statement. There are no situations I can currently think of in which it would be okay to go out of your way to disrespect someone and make them uncomfortable.

Which brings my question, how would they react if MC was avoiding them or giving the silent treatment because they're jealous (for some reason-) or upset at them? (Of course, MC is still doing their jobs perfectly because of professionalism but-)

Watches you in cold evaluation, wondering what on earth has gotten into you. But, doesn't feel the need to broach the subject unless your strange behaviour interferes with any missions or the team's training.

But, they are a little offended watching you behave normally with everyone else. Causing One to become a little colder towards you in turn.

Zero

They smile when they notice your attempts to avoid them, finding the act cute. Purposely invading your personal space and going out of their way to speak to you, making it difficult for you to keep your distance. Zero also flirts with others to get to you, enjoying your adorable reactions.

Viper

Burns a hole in the side of your head, staring you down any time that you're around. Constantly watching you with predatory eyes, resulting in both you and everyone else feeling wholly uncomfortable.

Wolfe

Asks everyone if they think that you seem any different from usual, wondering if it's all in his head but when he realises that, it in fact isn't. Wolfe tries to casually ask you if he's done something wrong...you know? Different from usual.

When you run away from him, he goes around asking everyone if he's done anything really bad recently that would warrant this type of behaviour. Quickly becoming fed up, he corners you, demanding that you tell him what he's done wrong.

Vice Virtue

Nicholas/Nicholette

Tries to ask you if they've done something to upset you, not convinced when you tell them "no." Nicholas/Nicolette charms you into having a civil conversation to discuss the cause of your strange behaviour. Well, after manipulating the situation, trapping you into a space where it's just the two of you with no way of escape that is.

Tobias/Tahlia

They corner you, quite literally blocking your path with a sneer. Demanding that you tell them why you're acting weird as f*ck around them, refusing to let you move until you put on your big girl panties/big boy draws and speak the f*ck up.

Elias/Elia

Stares you down whenever you're around, watching you in silent observation. Raising a slight brow at your antics, though they make no attempt to speak to you. Instead, complying with your sudden aversion towards them, they pay you little to no mind.

Kacey

They try to go out of their way to hang out with you, but when one ridiculous reason after another piles up as to why you can't spend time with them. They sulk instead, whining to their teammates about your sudden change in behaviour. And why they seem to be the only one getting the cold shoulder, afraid they might have done something to upset or freak you out somehow.

i wanted to ask about your recent post where you were talking about zuko's fear of azula and how he shows it? sorry if you've had similar asks before and i missed them, but i saw you mentioning the emotional incest in zuko and azula's relationship and i was really intrigued by that, couldn't really figure out where that came into play in the show. I'd love to know more of your thoughts?

Emotional incest is a term that usually refers to a parent being inappropriately enmeshed with their child and relying on them for emotional support, which does define Ozai's relationship with his children, and that's also why Azula treats Zuko the way she does. Ozai relies on Azula to make him look better and projects all his self-loathing onto Zuko. This kind of relationship crosses the boundary of what a parent-child relationship should be.

Emotional incest often looks like a parent treating a child almost like a spouse, and I've argued that Ozai using his kids as psychological warfare against Ursa has shades of this. It's almost like Azula is a replacement for Ursa, who it is implied that Ozai was once close to or at least relied on at one time for emotional support. I think Ozai made Azula his because he resented that Ursa wasn't what he wanted, and I think that relationship only became worse once Ursa left.

I think that boundary crossing translates to Azula and Zuko's relationship as well, which is not surprising in a household where the normal boundaries of family relationships have already been crossed. In the above-linked post I talked about Azula invading Zuko's personal space, playing with his emotions sometimes just because she can, and taking enjoyment in the fact that she can. In their very first scene together she interrupts him and puts words in his mouth and tries to subtly coach him on how to think about the situation, while he looks confused and uncomfortable. I also talked in that other post about her physically touching him or getting in his face when she's manipulating him.

There's also the fact that he ends up dating one of his sister's best friends, in a relationship which was heavily influenced by her. Which is also why Azula feels entitled to interrupt them when they're having a romantic moment, not just because she feels entitled to both of them, separately (although she does) but also because she feels like she has ownership of that relationship itself. Which is why she also thinks that Mai will help her kill Zuko as easily as she got together with him because Azula wanted it to happen.

And then when Zuko seeks out relationships of his own, with the gaang, Azula goes after him with intent to eliminate him, because she can't let him do that.
