Hi everyone,

I apologize about the delays on the next chapter of Yuuto and Léandre. Sincerely, a lot of situations popped up out of nowhere-- bills going higher, less people coming to cons to help said bills, and my cat eating damn thread so she needed emergency surgery :( So, I'm struggling a bit financially.

Therefore, I've recently started a patreon so that I can, hopefully, make time to finish the next part of the comic and create more in the future.

Saaki is such fun because they are the incarnation of 'I'm learning to be kind in spite of all that atrocities that have been done to me as well as the one's I've committed in the name of survival'.

Saaki has grown up on the streets, has seen bounty hunters as they walked the streets, confident and secure and thought it to be their only choice. And so they did. And they were good at it.

Saaki has always been but a ghost, something haunting people and they've killed as a child in the name of self protection and kept going since then in ways that others couldn't even perceive.

And it's that moment, where they lay dying on some junkyard in lower Coruscant, realizing that they were dying with not even the sun reaching their skin, that they accepted it, accepted their death. They died in that moment. But they let the part they've always wanted to live be their pillar because of the kindness of a stranger. And they never thought that would be a possibility for them. But they want it. Desperatly.

So they choose it. They choose kindness every single day in spite of it all. And they have reactions and movements that are ingrained in their soul, where they move to the simple touch of someone and think 'kill'.

But they fight on. They try and grow plants. They help people across the street. They carry groceries. Feed stray tookas. Because that's what you do if you're kind, right? And they're awkward and strange but they keep going because they want to, want this.

And they end up as this funky human making prosthesis for people that need it, protecting their neighborhood and they battle their own, self ingrained training each and every day as they know that death is still but an ends meet in their mind.

They'll get there. And they fight on every day.

No shade to OP as a person but believe me, this is a sign that something is DEEPLY fucking broken. Like they announced ONE new IP out of like eight films. I genuinely think within the decade they're just gonna stop making original films all together. That's what they learned from Elemental and Wish, just don't make anything new if you can help it.

Like they've unironically turned into what people pretend Dreamworks is, a sequel mill. The real downside is that Dreamworks actually knows how to make a good sequel, Disney never really figured that one out, bar a couple of outliers, and I have no faith in them pulling any of these off. Absolutely soul-crushingly pathetic. Thank god other animation studios exist.
