I think Nico's ability to survive is less so about his will to live and more so about his refusal (less so personal and more so narrative-wise) to die. Nico, for the lack of a better word, is like a cockroach: you cannot kill him in a way that matters so he survives and keeps haunting the scene.
There was once a marvelous post on Nico's function as a narrative tool and it was so beautifully pointed out that he's a near-omniscient deus ex machina (to simplify) which cannot be overlooked when characterizing him. Nico carries so much narrative weight on his back (which arguably could be an example of either good or bad writing depending on your perspective) that he cannot just go and die.
His road towards healing (though definitely not walked alone/individually) is his own, that's his choice to make as a character, but his disposition as a guy that perseveres resides more within his function, in my opinion.
He's not the tragic prince doomed for self-destruction people often draw him out to be but his capacity for survival is also not a product of his continuous work as a character, at least not just that — but is rather a result of his narrative function. Simply saying, you cannot, narratively, kill off Nico di Angelo.

Hello do you have any Zenistu-centric fic recs bls I am starving
heh
yes
(but it’s under read more bc this got out of hand) (also none of these are shippy, but if u want some of those fics yall can just send an ask for that )
Follow Me [Multi-chap, Inc]
When the only people Zenitsu considers family are killed off by an upper moon. It leaves the scared boy all alone in a dangerous world, or well, that is until a pillar finds him and tries in his own awkward ways to train him for the final selection.
Or, In which Obanai doesn't want to but still somehow ends up taking Zenitsu under his wing
The Sound Before the Strike [One-shot]
Before Zenitsu ever was the unlikeliest survivor of the Final Selection, he was an accidental student.
Pre-manga, slight spoiler at the end.
This Time It’ll Work [Multi-chap, Inc]
Zenitsu Agatsuma will try again, for the gods didn’t give a second chance for no reason. So this time, he’ll aid them— he’ll save them. As best as he can.
Prodigal Song [Multi-chap, Inc]
"He's active again. He's on a mission, but reluctantly."
Zenitsu's latest assignment sends him right back to where he started. Of all the markets for a demon to prowl, it just had to pick his hometown.
It figures.
(Takes place just before Chapter 100, following the entertainment district arc.)
You Slot Right Into My Life [Multi-chap, Complete]
The Journey of Zenitsu and how he managed, without trying, to win over Obanai Iguro, and become the snake Pillar's unofficial baby brother.
Overwhelming [One-shot]
Zenitsu wasn't sure why but the sound that came from her was concerning.
golden [One-shot]
zenitsu's sword is golden.
and so is he.
Electrolysis [One-shot]
Zenitsu loves girls. He loves their voices, loves their faces, loves their pretty clothes and the ornaments they put in their hair. Girls are amazing, in a way boys can't be, in a way he will simply never be.
A Good Hearing (But A Better Sight) [Multi-chap, Inc]
As a matter of fact, Zenitsu didn't want that "gift" or whatever that was, because ghosts were loud and hurt his ears and he had enough problems as it was.
But we don't get to choose what we can and cannot see, and Zenitsu sees and hears a lot of things. Way too much, if you ask him.
night knuckles [Multi-chap, Inc]
Besides his tendencies to scream and complain about missions to no end- there was another condition that led him to the unending questions of whether the world wanted him dead or alive for yet another day of suffering.
He had a certain kind of ‘illness’ on where he just, loses consciousness- he falls asleep.
((the ones below here arent zenitsu-centric but they feat. him and i just think they’re neat))
Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day [Multi-chap, Complete]
Sanemi gets hit by a car, and is reminded that he is surrounded by idiots.
Perseverance [One-shot]
Murata is plain normal. He does his job, does what he can, and does it well. He wants to live a life he can be proud of, as a man and as a Demon Slayer. If he falls, he gets up and starts working again. If the mission requires him to work in a team with the most annoying person he's ever met, he will. Because Murata just wants to do what he can, and do it well. That's all. (If Agatsuma could stop whining for a second though, that would be great.)
Something Old (Something Beautiful) [One-shot(?)]
Agatsuma Yoshiteru is fascinated by his great-grandfather's writing. There's something about it, telling him it's important.
He just has to figure it out.
Feeling Blue [One-shot]
There was only one time her family ever spoke at the dining table, and it wasn't a good one.
In which a life-altering event leaves a girl grasping for some semblance of stability, and others take notice.
The Cat Song [One-shot that’s a part of a series]
“I’ve been thinking about cats.” Zenitsu says pensively.
“What about your midterm?” Tanjirou asks, defeatedly.
“I’ve been thinking about cats.” Zenitsu repeats, just a tad louder this time as he sits up, “Specifically about their paws.”
Tanjirou blinks. Then he shifts in his seat and faces Zenitsu. Learning through osmosis can wait for this conversation to be over. “Their paws.”
————————————
Otherwise known as: Tanjirou and Zenitsu procrastinate studying for midterms by discussing the very important subject that is a cat’s toe beans. They’re dorks and probably ooc but we die like men.
Stylish Stuffy Democracy Collective [One-shot]
"We are Stylish Stuffy Democracy and we're here to blow your mind with our wickedly explosive sound! Prepare to be brought to tears!" "Wait, are we allowed to actually say that? Isn't that too aggressive?"
Tengen groans. This is an actual mistake.
(or: Uzui Tengen is a jaded art teacher who just wants to feel like himself again and thinks starting a music club slash school band will help.)
(me adding the fics below: kaigaku may have some rights, as a lil treat)
Cyanide At The Center Of A Peach [One-shot]
In another life, after killing a Lower Moon and establishing himself as the sole survivor of a terrible massacre, Kaigaku became a Hashira. This... does not change much.
In which grandfathers plot, crybabys cry, and one poisonous man's headache gets worse and worse.
breath of reincarnation [Multi-chap, Inc]
It was as Kaigaku closed his eyes for the final time that he lamented how pitiful his life was. Then he opened them again and realized that he found himself in his old master's house as if nothing had happened.
Alternatively named: Kaigaku is reincarnated and he accidentally changes a lot of things without meaning to.
Zero Sum [Multi-chap, Complete]
“Can you get the hell on with it? I swear to god, if you’re just calling to waste my - ”
“It’s Gramps.”
The rest of his threat dies in the back of his throat. A weird sort of buzzing noise fills his ears, and he’s suddenly, so awfully, aware of his own heartbeat.
Modern AU Thunder Family fic where Kaigaku comes home and maybe learns how to be part of a social unit.
---
annnnddd that’s all, i would’ve fukin, GUSHED about each one of these fics, believe me, but that would’ve taken too long, and anyways PLEASE give love to these authors by leaving kudos to their works, they honestly deserve it!!!! (except for that one fic that was written by me that i discreetly added in here lol, that one can choke)

i hate seeing so much raven negativity in the tags, but honestly what do we expect when the show hasn’t brought us inside her head at all?? we know from experience that a grieving raven tends to lash out at the nearest person but c stans are acting like she’s the devil for it. if the writers knew how to write raven, we’d get like 3-5 minutes of uninterrupted screentime for her to talk through her trauma about raven + issues w clarke with someone she trusts, like bellamy, emori, or even murphy +
but rn all the writers care about is “she’s being a bitch to clarke” and the stans have latched on to that as a reason why she’s the world’s biggest hypocrite. it’s a prime example of what you were talking about, not letting the characters feel things bc they have to move the plot forward. also really not here for them shoving her straight into another relationship. i’m just a tired raven stan who wants her to get the respect she deserves from writers and fandom :(
I’m sorry you have to deal with the fandom being negative and hateful and I feel the same way on most of this. :(
Raven’s storyline has been so disappointing this season. I feel like they haven’t really known what to do with Raven for the past few seasons (she’s kind of trapped in a repetitive loop of be sad about something, be injured, persevere, save the day with her smarts) but at least last season we got to explore her new dynamic with Murphy and her relationship with Echo. This season they really have just shoved her to the side.
The thing is that what the Clarke side of the fandom is angry about is probably the most in-character Raven’s been all season - and the parts of her storyline most rooted in her emotions (even though….like you’ve said and I’ve said, this season really is not giving characters much room to express or have emotions).
Raven DOES lash out when she’s upset. And that was true even before Shaw died, because Clarke’s actions led to her and Shaw getting tortured and she’s feeling betrayed by Abby. And of course after Shaw dies, it’s very in-character for Raven to lash out even MORE. And since she’s ALREADY upset with Clarke, she already feels like Clarke is to blame for her and Shaw being tortured by McCreary, it makes perfect sense that she would place all of her anger on Clarke.
Her speech to Clarke about apologizing is actually one of my favorite scenes this season so far and it’s definitely one of my favorite Raven scenes. Because you do get to actually see Raven’s emotions AND it’s exactly what I’ve wanted someone to say to Clarke for AGES - apologizing isn’t the problem, because Clarke says “I’m sorry” all the time. But it means nothing when Clarke turns around and does the exact same things over again.
I do think we need to see into Raven’s head more (just like most of the cast) and we need to have moments where she can express her emotions and we can see her talk to the people she is close with about what happened - but frankly, I think even if we did have that, people would still hate her for being mad at Clarke because unfortunately there’s a group of the fandom that thinks Clarke can do no wrong and no one can ever be angry with her or else they’re absolutely terrible. Even if what Raven said is EXACTLY WHAT CLARKE NEEDS TO HEAR SO SHE CAN CHANGE. It’s actually exactly what she needs to hear to recognize what WHY people are angry and change so she can repair her relationships again. (though the writing certainly isn’t holding her accountable. They just let Raven say that to cause tension between them and now Clarke will be forgiven without actually changing.)
The biggest problem to me is that this show was an ensemble show and this season it feels like everything is meant to serve Clarke’s story. Even that scene - which, like I said, I think is Raven’s best AND reveals the most about what she’s thinking and feeling - isn’t even ABOUT RAVEN. Because as soon as she says it, Raven goes back to being fine and doesn’t seem at all concerned about Shaw or being tortured again. That scene was all meant to serve Clarke’s story by making Clarke upset and causing more tension between Clarke and everyone else.
And that’s frustrating. Because the other characters deserve more this season than to just serve Clarke’s story.
And yeah - I’m so, so, so upset that they’re setting Raven up with another man. SHE’S STILL MOURNING. Setting her up with someone new immediately makes it seem like Shaw really didn’t matter to her. And I don’t like the implication that Raven needs to immediately have a new man after she’s lost Shaw. Can’t she have some time to herself? Processing her emotions and what happened last season and getting support from the people she ALREADY HAS CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH?
It seems like Raven’s whole storyline so far was yelling at Clarke - which is in-character and could have been fine if we also explored Raven’s grief and anger outside of Clarke (and didn’t drop the Abby conflict immediately too) - and hooking up with a new man and I don’t like that.
So I feel your pain. I’m sorry the fandom is being the worst. My best suggestion is just start blocking everyone in the Raven tag posting negativity. And I hope the show will start giving us better Raven content that you enjoy.

“bioshock infinity 2: detroit: become human: resistance is bad :)”
What’s all the bad stuff to happen so far?
we just finished watching a playthrough and oh man it’s so so so bad.
under the cut bc its long and discusses heavy shit
like david cage literally just took the oppression of black americans and redid it poorly with androids. he literally believes in benevolent slave masters, like markus got the idea that he has worth like a human being literally from his owner. Owner. a guy who Owned him but was also nice to him. gag. and markus is non stop struggling with how oh no they are being violent in their quest to get basic human rights like what the hell else are literal slaves supposed to do? ask nicely to their nice slave masters to be seen as human? that literally was not what happened in america.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but here david cage has no resorvations to use a black female character to parrot his bullshit about how black people were freed by nice white people and how they couldn’t have done it alone wuwuwuwu
talking of racism..... it’s supposedly isn’t a thing in detroit become human? in less than 2 decades america has completely gotten it’s systematic racism. not just macro agressions but micro agressions are all gone. how the hell did usa have complete liberation for people of colour without getting rid of the police OR poverty, BOTH which are a HUGE part of oppression of poc in america! like it makes no sense!
but altho racism is (SUPPOSEDLY) eradicated, sexism still perseveres! that’s right! characters will still yell BITCH!
altho at the same time the game has a .... brother, i guess? with androids as sex workers. and it has this weird “it’s equality” thing going on where there are as many male androids being showed off as there are female androids. like the attraction of androids for sex is w/o a doubt the androids inability to not consent (making it also unable to consent!) and like since sexism still exists from the fact that womanhood is devalued, how come are those places not explicitly marketed towards men who want to be sexual/violent towards women?
am i to believe that homophobia is such a non issue also in 20 years that gay men may openly seek out sex toys at a same place as straight men? like if we look at the statistics on male victims of rape, the rapists are more men. and that is because of society not caring for gay men being victims of rape, so male rapists can operate long without being caught if they target vulnerable gay men. so in this universe does homophobia exist still or not? it just makes no sense.
the lesbian sex androids that fight in heels and underwear is so gross i don’t even wanna talk about it. im just gonna ask how can you write and masturbate at the same time?
and from that to my final complaint: kara & alice
so like this i can critique with the most insight since i am An Abused Child
and i knew we were in for some shit when i saw this
Tumblr media
uhhh yeah. i also take antidepressants. so i don’t *** ********. and like it has a list of 280928389 side effects (none of which i’ve noticed to have so yay for me!) and the fact that they highlight that one. that fucking one.
ANTIDEPRESSANT
Warning: this might turn you from a nice person to an abuser. :( but its ok i know this isnt u, its the meds <3
yeah.
so before we witness the abuse we learn that the dad a) is taking that drug. b) lost their job (still had money for an android??? fuck me) and c) their wife left him and started a relationship with another person after that or possibly cheated on him.
and the game is telling us these things as to say this is the reason this man is who he is.
being an abuser has no relation to any of that stuff tho! and portraying an abuser like this has no relation to reality!
and most importantly: in this time of sexual abuse in entertainment, politics, everywhere is being uncovered WE DO NOT NEED TO SYMPATHIZE WITH ABUSERS. we do not need to be made sympathize with the abusers when they are already given more sympathy than they deserve and victims are getting more abuse.
and to come back to this story has no connection to reality... we live in a society that devalues women and worships men so in entertainment we are constantly showed stories of men being cheated on by women to get sympathy for the men. and the amount of men being shown cheating on women is nothing compared to the other way around, even though in reality men, powered by their male privilege, cheat on women statistically so much more.
what is reality though? women leaving their husbands because he is abusive. that is a story that david cage could have told that would not have been completely disgusting, but no.
and just the way alice is written... like someone just read like synopsis of a book on how children react to abuse from a parent and just wrote her parroting lines form the book. its so bad, unnatural, not at all how children react to abuse at that age and just creates plot holes. so alice whishes she could be like the other girls... how does she know what is and is not a normal home life. did she discuss her situation with other people and they shared their different, healthier experiances with their parents? if so why wasn’t the goverment or school or neighborhood involved?
also racism is supposedly eradicated but when kara and alice meet luther for the first time they flinch away....?! just because he’s a tall black man?!?
sooooooo when luther gains independence from his programming (being inspired by 2 white people.... gag) and joins them & they start having this family dynamic its super uncomfortable racist. a black man protecting white womanhood.
and rose, a black woman, takes that role after luther.... like literally they just have black characters protect these white women with all they have.....
and the game is so........ dude-y. all full of dudes. what does being human mean to the very few women in the game? protectin others => motherhood.
sigh. and that is why i ask you to go donate to my gofundme to get a hitman on david cage.

CRISIS CORE VS BEFORE CRISIS - TEENAGE CLOUD INTERPRETATION
For the most part I let it go, but my most recent post on a set of screenshots from Before Crisis has reminded me of why I find it challenging and sometimes even annoying to play Cloud pre-game. The FFVII Compilation is full of flaws, especially when it comes to continuity. One area that’s always irked me is the inconsistency in Cloud’s personality / character between Before Crisis (BC) and Crisis Core (CC).
BC and CC show very different types of personality for Cloud. BC takes a more assertive (sometimes reckless) approach, while CC takes a more passive, submissive approach. I’ve seen in both fiction and artwork how Cloud is portrayed as shy, timid, and wholly dependent on other people (most commonly this is Zack; sometimes he’s a blushing, mushy mess in front of Sephiroth). Nevermind that a lot of fanart completely erase the concept of him having muscles --- a yaoi thing, I’m assuming? --- the theme of timorous behavior is glaring.
As a teenager, it isn’t unlikely for Cloud to experience mood swings or dips in confidence. As someone who lacked a father or proper male role model when he was young, there are various different ways he could cope with that. Relying on another, older male figure isn’t illogical. Hell, he saw Sephiroth as a perfect example of strength and success --- the sort of man who can win the hearts and respect of many. (For Cloud, this personally lands on gaining Tifa’s attention, but that’s a topic for another day.)
However, though he has some insecurity, he does still show he has some headstrong qualities. It can’t be said that all of Cloud’s personality in the original game (OG) is Zack’s. As the player progresses through the story, and collectively both player and characters / Cloud learn about the truth behind Nibelheim’s incident and the twisted plot between Sephiroth, Jenova, Meteor, and Shinra, it’s seen that Cloud actions sometimes contradict each other. You could almost say it’s like two people are fighting for the steering wheel. Cloud still exists in himself, his memories are just screwed up. So, on that note, he exhibits leadership qualities, and possesses the perseverance to carry out a mission / task to its end (even when it tears him apart inside) that don’t necessarily stem from Zack.
That sort of fortitude generally isn’t born from someone who, just five-ish years prior, had a very timid, submissive personality as seen in CC, where Cloud very much takes a backseat in various conversations or tasks. Granted, CC was meant to focus heavily on Zack, but that shouldn’t mean Cloud cannot still be strong-willed. In BC, which happens almost simultaneously with CC (plus or minus a couple years), Cloud shows he has that same willfulness in the OG. That same recklessness. Even though Cloud only cameos in BC, those two or three brief scenes more accurately portray a precursor to Cloud in the OG, than the various cutscenes and interactions in CC. He hints at the Cloud that we, the players, recognize to exist even after Zack’s disguise (I use this word loosely) disappears.
Fans are welcome to interpret as they please, and favor whichever version that suits them, but personally, I find CC’s version of Cloud to be a bit distasteful. While it does show that Cloud has vulnerabilities, insecurities, and a need to seek out someone perceived as stronger --- just as you’d imagine any young person would look to a role model, whether biological or not --- it eliminates the other side of him that shows he isn’t weak, he isn’t helpless, he isn’t some submissive pup in a yard full of hounds. He’s young, yes. He’s inexperienced, yes. But he still has teeth and willing to use them, even if it gets him a kick or bite in return. He’s still capable of holding a conversation with a high head and straight back. He’s still capable of raising his weapon without shaking arms.
Cloud isn’t weak. He has his weaknesses, but he isn’t weak. He isn’t inept. He isn’t easy. He needs a good kick in the ass once in a while, but once he’s moving, you can damn well bet he’ll run to the finish.

Finished Princess Agents last night. My heart kind of hurts, but the ending wasn’t all that bad compared to how everyone described it. I guess it was because we had so many expectations for the whole plot line to happen. Everyone was very focused on how Yanxun and Chuqiao would fall apart, when/how Chuqiao would go to Yuwenyue, Chuqiao’s background story and etc. I think we were just too set on a million expectations. The novel readers basically wanted the whole detailed story to playout. They gave everyone so many expectations. The series did drag a bit and they didn’t draw out some parts of the drama well enough, but it ended at a part that would reignite the second part. But without the original cast, I think it might not cut it for the viewers. My blurb about the drama was a long time coming haha. I haven’t been this obsessed with a drama for a while. I went to online forums and read about what people were saying; and I even wanted to respond! But here’s my gibberish.
I’m always so astonished at how intricate and complicated Chinese series can be and surprisingly I can still keep up. Chinese drama series really ingrain a lot of values and lessons. When I have children, I will make them watch these too haha.
Yuwenyue: he is such a patient character. I like how he slowly puts down his privileged and cool side; and becomes more down to earth. He seems like a little boy with his feelings, but it’s refreshing to see him not be afraid to show his feelings towards Xinger although at times it was cheesy and hilarious. When he finally puts down his family’s honor and starts fighting for what he believes, I find him way more attractive. Finally shaking off the family chains that tied him down against his true heart. Side note, Lingengxin has a huge nose LOL. We all knew he was a genius, but I like how his character was balanced out with his stupid love. He always seemed one step ahead with everything, but when it came to Xinger, he was always chasing behind. His patient love for Xinger really drew on my heartstrings. When he tells her to rest a little and then be strong again ;_; When he doesn’t let any possibility of danger prevent him from protecting Xinger....he didn’t want to keep her by his side because he wanted her to live the way she wanted to, oh god. This selfless love is too much. Too soon to talk about this after finishing the series last night ;_;
Yanxun: He has the most drastic transformation of all characters. From a carefree, humorous prince to a dark, ruthless ruler. Really didn’t find him attractive at all at the beginning, but his character grew on me. I thought his form after he had the transformation was a little extra, but I guess it drives home his new side with the dark eyeliner, hair and clothes. His story is so tragic....first half of the drama, he’s a puppet. The three episode long tragedy with his family was heart wrenching. Literally cried all night in bed when I saw the episodes. His powerless character at that time was unbearable to watch. I liked the bromance that he and Yuwenyue had, things that were out of character for Yuwenyue to do, he would help him. Maybe for his own likings, but he was a good sidekick to Yuwenyue when there were that many enemies. His love for Chuqiao was so wrong, but so understandable. His quiet love...soon to be blinded by his own hatred and vengeance. It’s sad how it panned out, but I guess it also shows another turning point of the story when Yanxun loses the last thing he loves genuinely. He picked this path. I thought he would be smart enough to realize that Chuqiao has a very strong sense of will and righteousness so his actions would definitely cause some sort of rift between them. He gambled on Chuqiao’s love and trust with him. He basically pushed her buttons until she couldn’t handle it anymore. He always expected her to understand him without any explanations. It’s slightly frustrating, but what’s a drama without such a torn character right?
Xinger/Chuqiao (Xinger when in context with Yuwenyue): Where do we even start with her....she had so many forces against her throughout the drama. Surviving as a slave, death of various family members, jailed with Yanxun, leaving Yuwenyue, having her beliefs challenged one by one, leading an abandoned army....talking about her character makes me tired. You really don’t realize all the shit she’s gone through until you sit down and think about it. Literally a laundry list of constant struggles. There doesn’t seem like a moment where she isn’t fighting. I love and hate her character. She was so strong, but stubborn. It was hard seeing her be passionate about Yanxun’s dream only to be slowly torn apart by his true dream. I wish we knew a little more about her past throughout the series instead of getting it chucked at us in the last episodes. The way they sprinkled her past throughout the series was weird. I like Xinger’s childish side that she showed with Yuwenyue bc it seemed like she could be herself and be carefree which you really don’t see with anyone else that she interacts with. Her silent love for Yuwenyue was a little unbearable. She couldn’t do anything for him ;_; Replay all their carefree, bickering moments x230945735894. Yanxun and Chuqiao’s bond was basically the second half of the drama. Their struggles together....Chuqiao ready to give her life at every moment for him compared to what she would do for Yuwenyue at the time. Complete 180 of bonds with each of our male leads. I guess that’s what makes her so interesting. She was so hard on herself throughout the series. Even when Yanxun made it hard for her, she felt it like she could’ve done something. I love her courageous and self-help attitude. She always feels like she can do something. I like seeing her soft side with Yuwenyue. Heartaches, but it’s a fuller character development. I love that she kicks everyone’s ass. She does have some damsel in distress moments, but she is nonetheless a Chinese Wonder woman.
Yuancun Princess: wow, I hated her so much throughout the series, but in the end, I felt sympathy for her. The many misfortunes and tragedies that were around her. She, herself was to blame most of the drama, but then I started understanding her craziness and feel sympathy for her. She didn’t deserve everything she received and in the end, got a “sorry” from Yanxun and everything seemed just that much more heartbreaking. Her own tragedy added on the deaths of everyone she ever loved or loved her....jeez. She was naive and stuck up, but wrath came upon her and never stopped. To live like she did one tragedy after another, she is so resilient. I would even dare compare her will to live as strong as Chuqiao’s. Both of our female characters are so strong willed and persevere, i’m a fan.
Xiaoce Prince: oooooo I love him. Not really an important character, but he is so adorable!!! I love how ridiculous he is. He was probably the funniest part of the drama. It’s unfortunate that he fell in love with Chuqiao, but he was the type to quietly protect her. I like that he looked clueless, but ended up being cunning too. He was a very understanding and mature character. Although I know his eventual tragedy, I want him to live forever!!! He seemed like the most righteous character.
Yuansong Prince: most childish, adorable character until he suffers his misfortune. His love for Chuqiao was so pure and cute. Multiple times, he was very upfront about his love which is refreshing to see compared to Yuwenyue’s silent love and Yanxun’s assumed love. I really enjoyed seeing Yuansong go from being a high up prince to someone down to earth and caring of the people. Even going through all the tragedies, he was never hateful and vengeful which is basically apparent in every single person in the drama. Kind-hearted little fella. In the second part, I hope he ends up finding new love with Mengfeng!
Emperor: he’s an idiot. Doubted all his subjects, used his children, killed the innocent people of his nation. Such a despicable character....on his death bed, he finally has some sense to cease war. He is the biggest antagonist and trigger of the drama.
Daliang Princess: not sure why she had such a large part in the drama....but sucks for her Romeo and Juliet one sided love.
Actually need to do some work now......maybe continue later.
I thought I was obsessed about Princess Agents, but definitely not bc there’s people that created a google doc to translate the Princess Agents novel ._.
