So I've been asked what my ideal relationship timeline is winx would be like for the canon relationships (on discord), so here it is!!!
Bloom/Sky:
This fucking relationship was a mess! Not even a mess in the way Rivusa was a mess, I mean them both imagining a kiss at the end of s1 fucking mess. Help what is wrong with them
For them I would like them to get in a relationship before the Trix try and convince Bloom that she was made by the ancestral witches (Valtor foreshadowing?) and then they break up during the Diaspro event. He gets his ass DUMPED!!! Consequences for your actions you little asshole!!!
They make up during the s1 finale and Sky is like "can we start dating again 🥺" and Bloom is like "No💙". The imagined kiss can still happen, it was so insane, you can keep it
Then s2 happens and Sky is trying so hard to be a good bf "plz take me backkk" and then hes like "I hate Avalon. I'm not even like doing this bc I want you back, that man is CREEPY. Riven agrees and we had an entire civil conversation about it. Baby plz." Bloom is not listening 💙💙💙 and then the dark Bloom thing happens and Sky fights tooth and nail to save her and they make up form like everything from s1 and s2!!! Yaya
After all that they are dating now, good for them, good for them. WAIT? WHATS GOING ON?? ITS VALTOR WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!!! SKLOOM IS ON THE FUCKING FLOOR!!! God they are such a fucking mess goddamn
Riven very quickly points out that Sky was under mind control and Bloom feels bad and she goes to save him and they talk about it and they're fine mostly. They talk about it, it hurt them both but it doesn't fuck them up completely
The first movie is the same except they don't get engaged, please calm down both of you, think about this for a little longer, but they're happy and good for them
Stella/Brandon:
Literally the only thing I would change is that they are obviously in a relationship early in s1 and they DON'T break up after the reveal, even though Brandon thinks they're broken up
That's it, aside from that no notes
Musa/Riven:
The show ends after the first movie, the later seasons don't exist and can't hurt me (<- are currently hurting me)
In season one it's established that Musa and Riven met before the season and Musa remembers the interaction a better than Riven does, instead of her seeing Riven act like a dick and then suddenly liking him. She's already seen the soft side of him and she wants the "mean to everyone but me" relationship bc Musa is insane too ❤️
S1 and s2 should vibe most untouched aside from this and Riven and Musa should both acknowledge that they like each other at the beginning of s2 but don't get in a relationship bc Riven isn't emotionally ready 4 another relationship so soon after Darcy and Musa is nomral about it (she's not).
S3 except the golden Kingdom is slightly different, the worry Riven is feeling is shown over anything else. Yeah I'll keep the motorcycle thing in, Riven can't communicate and Musa has a mood disorder they're gonna get into a couple dump fights at first. That's just being mentally ill they're fine. They should like immediately make up tho, like as someone who knows people like this the apologies for being insane bc you had a mood swing or can't read social cues are like so quick
Keep the first movie but Riven doesn't have to relearn any lessons, he is simply vibing and in love with Musa and breaks out of mind control bc of his resounding guilt after being forced to hurt her
Tecna/Timmy:
TIMMY DOESN'T HAVE TO PROVE HIMSELF IN S2!!!! EVERYTHING STAYS THE SAME BUT THAT
Okay and Tecna doesn't explicitly state she doesn't want a relationship bc then it feels weird when she gets into one
But like in s2 when Tecna gets pissed at Timmy for not intentionally picking a fight he can't win that could get him killed?? She's treated as the one in the wrong and has to learn to be more chill than Timmy having to do anything, he literally wasn't in the wrong
S2 was so disrespectful to Timmy I SWEAR
Flora/Helia:
GIVE THEM MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER TRAIT!!!!!
Flora stops having a personality after this, please let her yell at people in begging you. Give Flora a character arc I'm begging you
Helia doesn't have a personality!! He has a bunch of implications and he's literally never around in s2 OR s3!! So often it's the winx and specialists except Helia!!
Let them like express different sides of their personality and give Helia more screen time, that's all I ask
I'm on my knees begging you
I can't even say anything because there's literally nothing to go off of
Take the shab stone comic and put it into the show
Aisha/Nabu:
Please imagine a world where Aisha is arranged to marry someone and that person and her love interest are two different ppl
Keep it the same except Nabu isn't her arranged partner, they meet while fighting on Andros and Nabu keeps showing up because he ran away from home and has no idea what the fuck he's doing without all his servants and he's asking Aisha for help djwbdbwjsbwnwbs
That would be MY ideal for them but if have to keep the large plot points the same I wouldn't change anything, like my problem is the inciting incident of their relationship the development itself is cute, but id want them to become official in s4 instead. Only Florelia (sane people) and Brella (soulmates) can get away with the one season romance and make it feel natural, Aisha would not get into a relationship that quickly, but that's a nitpick if anything
No other Aisha relationships exist and if they did they'd be with Roy and not Nex shut up

The Wizards are Sad Pieces of Toast, change my mind.
The Wizards are this seasons big bad villains. Or, the attempt at villains, ig. The way they are introduced, set against all the other villains the Winx have already beaten, it sets the expectation for the audience that the Wizards are even more evil, cruel and dangerous than all the villains that came before. And I guess on paper they are. Theoretically they are responsible for the genocide on the Terrestrial Fairies, which is pretty horrifying. Even Faragonda doesn’t dare speak of them out loud. And initially that’s intriguing. But when we meet them properly, they are just so boring and ineffective in comparison to Valtor or the Trix. Or even Darkar and he mostly hung out in his creepy cave castle.
I like the Wizards entrance, sort of. I like that they initially are after Bloom and want to steal her power (we’ll disregard for a moment the fact we learned in season 1 that a fairy’s power can’t be stolen) and when they realise, she isn’t the one they were looking for, they just yeet her to the side. That’s funny and unexpected. Every other villain before was after Bloom, and now for the first time, she isn’t the main centre of attention. She’ll make herself into that, later. But back to the Wizards.
We quickly realise that the Wizards are just…ridiculous, not menacing. Their actions don’t live up to the expectation set by their introduction and I think that is the main problem I have with them. How am I supposed to take them as a serious threat when the first two thirds of the season, the Wizards spend their time essentially playing pranks on the Winx? All they do in their brief moments of screen time, is to stand around and complain about the Winx. Then they try to ruin the Winx reputation and get so angry over the people of Gardenia liking these girlies. How very high school mean girl of them. It gets to a point where even the Winx are just annoyed when the Wizards show up and treat them more like an inconvenience than the evil final bosses that they end up being. Well, unless the plot demands otherwise.
It doesn’t help that, until the Winx get Believix at the end of the sixth episode, the Wizards could beat them at any point, since they canonically created a spell that renders Fairy Magic basically mute. But they don’t do anything with their advantage. Instead, they are absent for a good chunk of episodes and then only start messing with the Love & Pet shop, for no other reason than that they don’t like the Winx and find them annoying. After Episode 7, when the Winx insta-defeated them, they just sometimes attack randomly, but not with any sort of plan they want to achieve. Even though Roxy is not very protected, like the Winx don’t organise a watch for her or coordinate schedules so that someone is always with her, the Wizards only try to kidnap Roxy once. Unsuccessfully, because they conveniently forget to take her powers that particular time.
At the end, when they reveal themselves to be the Big Evils after all, I couldn’t take them seriously, with all the silly bullshit they pulled. They don’t even have any memorable personalities either. I can’t even recall all their names: there’s Ogron and Duman. Gantlos? And??? I'm sure there's a fourth one, but I couldn't remember his name if you'd held a gun to my head.
Ogron, or more like budget Valtor, in a sad attempt to be the next “charming” villain, monologues all over the place, throwing around threats and sassy lines. When Valtor did it, at least he made his threats reality thus giving his words weight. Ogron just talks shit and then gets jobbed by the Winx.
Another aspect to the detriment of the Wizards is that we don’t really get to spend much time with them. In season one and season three we spend a good chunk of most episodes with the Trix and Valtor and get to know them, their plans, and personalities. That’s why they are so memorable. The Wizards don’t get the same treatment. We barely cut away to see what they are up to, and when we do, they mostly complain about the popularity of the Winx. I’m serious. These are our villains!
We never learn their plans either. Why do they want the Terrestrial Fairies powers so badly? Just to have it? Because that’s an evil villain thing to do? Why did they start the genocide in the first place? What is their end goal now? Why do they want the White Circle? What are they planning? The audience not knowing the villains plan is a problem. That’s our frame of reference for the stakes of the season. Whenever the Winx and Wizards fight, we should clearly know what happens should the Winx lose. When we don’t understand the Wizards ulterior motives, their actions become meaningless and confusing. I would go so far to speculate that there never was a concrete plan for them, writing-wise. They are just a trope, a vessel, a hinderance for the Winx to fill this season with something. They aren’t real characters.
Let’s look at their plan, or lack there-of: At first, they want to steal Roxy’s power, then they leave her alone for a bit, messing with the Winx instead. Then they suddenly forget about Roxy and want the White Circle. Then they play more pranks and inconvenience the Winx some more. And in the end, they want to destroy Tir Na Nog…for some reason??? Because the show needs an evil final boss? With the other villains in previous season, the audience always clearly understood what their next steps would be. That adds suspense and urgency, like “Oh no! The Trix are about to steal a codex, can the Winx stop them in time???” Because we understood, that if Darkar gets all Codex pieces, he would be super powerful and destroy the Magical Dimension, the audience understood the gravity whenever the Trix managed to steal another piece. Now granted, that’s not a particularly original plan, but that’s not the point. The Wizards just randomly show up to fight, not really following any plan, or rather, whatever this episode’s plot requires. They don’t have an overarching plan. I’d argue because they don’t need one, because they will lose at the end regardless, but there not being any really just makes the Wizards seem like nothing more than a mild inconveniences to the Winx. Depending on the episode, of course, and whether we need to bring in artificial tension.
The fact that they don’t even have a proper villain’s lair speaks volumes. The Trix had Cloud Tower in season one. Darkar had his fancy underground castle. Valtor first had his cave on Andros, then Cloud Tower. What do the Wizards get? An unspecified industrial looking area and then…the sewer. They hide out in the sewer. Ewwwww. They don’t have a creepy castle, nothing. They could have had a sort of Tir Na Nog foil, a creepy old castle maybe, or even lived in the Ruins of Tir Na Nog. No. They hide in the sewers of this random Californian town.
I cannot stress enough how the majority of the season the Wizards are just sad pieces of toast and then at the last minute, they are revealed to be the big bad final boss. Their tactic of feigning their surrender could have been interesting, but by that point they already had lost all their intrigue. The Winx had already won against them every time they fought, so why should I feel any sort of threat or danger?

You didn't understand this mess. You looked between the two as you were tied to a bed. You blinked. "What the is going on here?!" You exclaimed. Valtor grinned at you. Palladium was just staring at you thinking deeply. He then smiled realizing you were awake.
"Hello dear," Palladium said. "I am sorry for this but this ass wanted to try and prove something." He sighed. Valtor huffed at this and rolled his eyes.
"I am the one in control Professor Palladium so shut it be glad you are here." Valtor sneered. Vatlor smirked turning his attention to you. "So pet, we both got in a little argument when I was about to mark him under my control..." He said. "About you and who was better for you," Valtor added last and sat on the bed and took your chin in his hand turning it so you were facing him.
Palladium looked annoyed at this before going to the other side. He rubbed your arm trying to calm you down. It relaxed you enough and you nodded. Maybe this could have worked to your advantage. You had a crush on both of them. Each night one of them was in your dreams.
You had met Palladium when he started teaching at Alfea and you were to show him around. You became close friends. Nothing happened before now. You were excited without realizing it.
Meeting Valtor was during your fight with me during your time with the Company of Light. For a bit, he had you on his side but that was broken by your best friend and mom figure Faragonda. She had accepted you back and you were the key to defeating Valtor the first time.
You still wonder how he got free. You had to admit something was still about him that you loved. Most likely the bad boy vibes. You were snapped out of your thoughts when both men had stripped down. You just stared between the two. You just blushed.
"Is this okay dear?" Palladium asked you concerned about how you felt. You nodded that it was fine. You didn't trust your voice. Valtor grinned and removed the visible chains before using magic ones. Both of them went to either side of you. Palladium rubbed your inner thigh before kissing your neck gently. Valtor was not as gentle and completely opened your legs before starting to finger you with two fingers. He only watched your reaction.
Your reaction was to just gasp. He continued to do this getting rougher. Each time he hit your sweet spot. You mewled. Palladium just kissed your neck and moved down as he gave your breasts love as well. Both of them were doing something amazing. You moaned and arched your back. Valtor pushed you down.
"Stay down." He commanded. You nodded. He decided to pull out of your pussy causing you to whine. Valtor smirked at Palladium. "I'll take her mouth. I already took her virginity in the past so that doesn't need to be proven. Palladium nodded. He smiled at you. He melted at this. Both pulled away and admired you.
Valtor helped you move to hang your head off the side of the bed while splatting out for Palladium. Palladium gently got lined up and Valtor stuffed your mouth. Palladium entered you gently and groaned.
Valtor started to move out and in going deeper into your throat and moaned. He had missed this. Palladium wasn't rough and was gently thrusting in and out of you. You started to shake after a few minutes. Valtor and Palladium just moaned and groaned. You just mewled all the noises from feeling rough and gentle from the both of them. Soon all three of you came. Palladium then pampered you with kisses. Valtor helped you get your jaw back to normal. No one said a thing.
"So which one pet?" Valtor said. You couldn't choose and looked between the two.
"Both?" You said. Palladium and Valtor looked at each other and smirked.
"That works dear," Palladium said. All three of you ended up falling asleep on the bed after they gave you some aftercare.

my ranks based on each seasons from Winx Club
Tumblr media
season 3 is at ALL times my favourite, best storyline, transformations, villains, strongest attacks, it's perfect season 2 is a improvement from season 1, Bloom got corrupted a few times, Aisha started to appear, same for the pixies, the winx earning Charmix, it's the 2nd best after season 3 season 1 is where everything have started, some scenes are rather boring but i actually like season 1 since it's the history about Bloom and how she started at Alfea thanks to Stella, it was the first season so i'm letting some flaws slide season 4 is quite good too and the last season they didn't messed things up too much, a story plot based on Roxy, the villains are great too and the only season the Trix didn't appear in any of the episodes season 5 is not bad but could've done better, it should've been based on Aisha instead of Bloom, i liked the harmonix they went on a quest to find something so they can earn their sirenix, i just wished it lasted a little longer and some things don't make sense, that's why it's in the decent list season 8 is not that bad compared to the lowest 2 of the ranks, the mission is for real this time, going on a another planet to save the day and eventually to try to get the primestar, the transformations are good in their Cosmix form but the first Sirenix form looks terrible except Bloom, i wished they went with the season 5 Sirenix form, Crystal Sirenix form not too bad but nothing can beat the Sirenix form in season 5, they're lazy with Valtor, the animation looks weird as if it's made for kids, what's with the whitewashing? the specialist and the winx looks like little kids, even Kiko looks kind of weird there, why didn't Roxy and Daphne appear? and what's with their voices? the plot is quite good, the specialist appears a little more, Cosmix is good but i have so many questions why they've changed season 8 so much? very close to "thin ice" list but the plot is the reason i decided NOT to put it in the "thin ice" list season 7 is quite bad, they could've done better with Roxy, not make everybody looks the same with Butterflix, the plot looks like it's made for little kids since there are NO real battle compared to all the other seasons, the villains didn't do much except travel into the past and let others do the fight instead and i could've put it on the last list but atleast it's not too dark, the mini world is stunning, each had their own times to shine and i was SO glad Riven completely dissapeared with just a few flashbacks untill season 8 came out season 6 is the worse of all, too dark, too dramatic, everything have to be about Bloom, i wished we saw more of Selina's history with Eldora and Bloom, the way of earning Bloomix is poorly made except Flora and Bloom, everybody is so dramatic especially Musa and Riven, and speaking of Musa, she's the MOST useless winx in general, especially Mythix, Flora is the only possibly flawless person in season 6 except her drama with Helia about the plants, she went to Mythix on her own first before the others did, she was the first one earning her Bloomix form, Flora is one of the less who earned her Bloomix well, the other being Bloom, she's still the peacemaker from the group and this time it was Flora's idea to go after Bloom in gardenia and i do love her redemption when she defeated icy TWICE and healed Helia from the freeze, i possibly vibe a little with Tecna but the other 4 winx i don't vibe with them in this season
these are all the ranks based on each seasons from Winx Club i like when it have its dark sides in the series, especially in season 1, 2 and 3 but season 6 is too dark, the LEAST balanced season from all the other seasons with so little to no fun times, it's for that reason i like this season the LEAST season 7 is the most kid-friendly season from all the other seasons based on the plot, like there's so little to no battles in most episodes, it's only like saving the other animals from the disasters instead of the actual battles like in the first few seasons season 8 have a terrible animation compared to the earlier seasons, i can't stand most of the voices neither, i could've ranked it either lower or higher on the list but i just can't stand the animation

ship you've unwillingly come around to
9. worst part of canon
Already answered here.
17. there should be more of this type of fic/art
Driven!
21. part of canon you think is overhyped
Oh, like everyone I have to say season 3. I will never argue that it is an exiting season with a good villain and a good concept. But it feels like by the middle of the season the writers themselves didn’t know where to go. It really feels like they did not imagine the end yet and this is why it feels so rushed and why Valtor is suddenly so boring and useless. I miss the epic finale. It also handled the different stories very badly. The fact that it starts with all the mess on Solaria and then it goes on for several episodes not being mentioned again. It just doesn’t make sense, that Stella would easily give up on her father no matter if Valtor on Andros and later in Magix was the bigger threat at the moment. While I rewatched it I waited desperately for the things on Solaria to get fixed. But it didn’t happen until episode 19? Wtf. It’s also a shame that besides Stella, none of the Winx really has a lot screentime like in season 2. We got the Enchantix arcs, yes, but they only lasted on episode each. The Crystal Labyrinth was such a good idea to show the different characters and their problems again but then again it only lasted one episode and the other characters were just left out. It was just too much Bloom, Bloom, Bloom to me. Talking of Bloom: Tecna just “died” and Bloom goes to Pyros to earn her ego-Enchantix and the Winx are SOO worried about Bloom and don’t waste a single thought on Tecna? Wtf, girls? If Timmy hadn’t been there, Tecna would still be in the Omega Dimension.
22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores
SEASON 1?!?! Everyone just forgets it or claims that it’s only about Bloom? Like, yes, the focus is on Bloom because she is the fkn main character, but we see a lot from the other girls too. Especially Flora and Stella have their moments and episodes they shine in. In the other episodes every character is very strongly portrayed as well. They are all individuals and act as those, not like in s5+ where everyone is just a long-haired glitter babe. Season 1 built up a very good fantasy world and had a red string when it comes to storytelling. It was all about exploring Magix and Bloom’s origin and one was curious to find out more and more things! It is also the season of the Trix, come on. Those bad bitches have their golden moments in there and nearly take over the whole magic dimension. They are cunning and clever and know what they do unlike the later seasons where they become first minions to Darkar and have only few episodes in s2 and later have their thing with Valtor. They had a goal, which got lost in the later seasons. What was exactly their goal when working with Darkar and Valtor? A place in the bed of the latter for sure but come on, they are the heirs to the ancestral witches. Someone like that shouldn’t be reduced to a minion or bed-bunny. So back to season 1: We also had morals transported through the story as well. We had real problems, be they interpersonal with the Winx actually being allowed to argue and making up with each other again or moral questions like the thing with the letter in 1x15. So to sum this up:  Strong characters, strong story and the best part of my childhood. *applause*
23. ship you've unwillingly come around to
This won’t surprise anyone. It’s Rivusa. Since my earliest childhood, I never got why they had to become a couple. I felt uncomfortable watching them. It is just too much arguing to me and I also have to say, they are very poorly written. We know, that Musa had a crush on Riven early in season 1 but Riven wasn’t into her. She was just that one of the fairies he found the least annoying but then turned to Darcy because of….reasons. This “betrayal” Musa had to face was a total punch in her face. (It was no betrayal, we all know that, they had nothing ongoing and all blah blah. It is just from her point of view of course.) She felt left alone and even worse didn’t receive help from Riven when the witches were hunting her. There have to be so many, so deep scars left in Musa’s soul that I don’t get what s2 was doing with them. It would have been logical, if Musa had big trust issues now, like BIG trust issues from the beginning. But she seems just happy to finally have his attention. And Riven himself should have trust issues too after all the stuff that happened with Darcy. They are both broken souls who need fkn therapy but for sure not each other. Because when they are together, they argue. The whole time. It’s always Musa expecting the world from Riven (where from, Musa? Where do you take this right from? I just don’t get it) and Riven being unmotivated and either impulsive or hides his emotions completely. They are just no healthy couple. Look at brella. Look at them. This is how a healthy relationship works. Look at Helia and Flora and Tecna and Timmy. Both couples have communication problems, but they always find a way (talking of s1-3). I won’t keep on bitching over s4 now because that made Rivusa even more problematic (on both sides, Riven might be a jealous jerk but Musa is a bitch who wants to betray him with her music producer?? Wtf rainbow?? Why???). So all in all: I just think the writing should have focused more on their healing process and when they have to couple them up, then write it in a better way.

ohmygosh this was such a fun read 😭😭😩 now im already so hyped lol I will definitely check that cafe when (🥴) i shift there
And yes please tell us about red fountain (what was training/studying there like since u stayed there for longer 😯) and the guys!
Alsooo if u can/if u like, what were the trix like? 👀 and if u got to go, was cloud tower scary? How bout valtor? (Goth king i presume) Lmfao
And how did you control your powers? How did it feel when using it? Is it like having to control ur emotions like on netflix’s winx saga? What was transforming like ! 🤭
Alsoo this is irrelevant but its always a thing that comes to my mind when thinking of shifting to 2D drs but are their eyes like... this? 💀
Im sorry for so many questions 😭 please feel free to answer which one u like and againn the answers dont have to be long at all 😅 and thank you for taking the time to share! 🥺
- winx club anon 🦋✨
AHHH I'm glad you liked it!! (And "winx club anon" that's so cute please 🥺)
Okay so, Red Fountain is so much fun!! It definitely depends on personal taste but I love martial arts and physically fighting so I loved Red. It's actually a lot stricter than people assume! Red has manners and diplomacy classes just like Alfea and they're actually more in depth to account for war diplomacy. The teachers are very strict (literally all of them) but that's just for our safety so it's not too bad. They have this room for flight training that's full of flight simulators which was sooo much fun (of course we had competitions for that). We also did monthly games! They had so many classes and training that were designed to help team bonding so we played things like capture the flag all the time (that one was intense holy shit make sure you wear the padding they give you for the game - the amount of times i got fucking BODIED For No Reason???)
Overall, training is really fun! There's a lot of technical stuff in your first three years (first year is the worst) but after that most of it is practical application. We have to take mandatory medical training for three years and then at least one boot camp a year to make sure you remember everything (and if you mess up at all, you have to take another class).
There are like... two-three phases(?) for teams! For your first three years, you can switch teams to find one that really matches you. They assign teams based on specialties and skills to ensure that everyone is well matched but sometimes people just don't get along (*cough* Riven). For the first couple of months, they won't let you switch so you can at least get to know them but after that, if you offer substantial evidence for why you should join another team they let you! BUT. After three years, you're no longer able to join another team unless there's a serious problem (like arguing getting in the way during missions). And during your fifth year, your team gets registered as an official team under the Specialist Registry (which is basically just a list of all the teams). Our fifth year was in season 4 so we got officially registered and going to Earth was our first mission as a registered team!!
As for the guys! Like I said before, they're all attractive 😌 Sky has this really insane duality actually. When he's all dressed up as a prince, he has this prince charming kind of vibe but he hates being dressed up so in our free time he dresses super comfortably and has more of a "boy next door/tiktok golden retriever boy" kinda vibe! Brandon is so hot, literally everything about him is super masculine and he has this "90s heartthrob" look. Timmy is super cute! But he had this major growth spurt in year four (so like season three ish) and he ended up looking very handsome. Riven of course is hot too. Definitely has that "bad boy" image but also sometimes he just looks like a punk. Helia is very beautiful! He has a masc-leaning androgynous look (we agreed that Brandon was the most handsome and Helia was the prettiest). Nabu was also really handsome! He has this like... soft dom (😳) handsome feel (another prince charming kind of guy).
The Trix are also really beautiful! But also really scary... I was actually surprised at how scary they were. At first, they seemed like regular school bullies but as they get older they seem crazier and crazier. Icy especially gets this crazed look in her eyes when she gets mad, especially when she's fighting Bloom. Like... they really aren't the kind of villains you want to mess with (despite us regularly kicking their asses, they always get back up, and most if not all of us have had nightmares about them).
Valtor was a lot scarier in person. The Winx had nightmares of him for years and Flora even had to go to sleep therapy for it. In the cartoon, he just looks like a gay goth aljhgdaljdg but in person, he's super charismatic and egotistic. He truly believed that he would take over the universe and kill anyone he wanted. That kind of confidence from that kind of person can be really terrifying. He literally acted like a bad guy from a horror movie. Just... ew.
Powers! It was actually easy for me to control my magic because I scripted that but, I can tell you that you do have to control it to a point. I hated Fate so there really wasn't a lot of inspo from there but the whole emotions affect your magic thing was spot on. It wasn't as serious as Fate but your emotions do affect your magic! Bloom is a really good example I feel? But anyway, fairy magic is based on positivity which can be really dangerous if you know... you don't feel happy or don't have any hope. Witch magic is based more on which emotion you feel the strongest! There's a big misconception that it's only negative emotions but really they just use whichever emotion they feel the strongest at that moment. So they can still use magic if they're sad or angry (it just might backfire or get out of their control).
Cloud Tower actually isn't scary to me? There were students who did get scared but I think that was mostly just from being near witches and dark magic. But honestly, I thought the school itself was really beautiful! It has this dark academia meets dark witch look so like... lots of candles and books and just super cute all around. ALSO the witches at Cloud consistently threw the best parties.
Using magic feels really natural! It's kind of just like... you think of what you want it to, sometimes say a spell to help direct it, then it happens. It can backfire or do something else but that usually means you have an issue with not believing in your magic!
Transforming was fun! On the outside, it happens in less than a second. There's a flash of light and then you're transformed! But when you actually transform, it feels a lot longer and you do see the actual transformation. You don't have to move or dance but it can help to boost your spirits!
And no they didn't look like that 😭 I scripted that they would look just like we do! Although! I will say their eyes are a lot.. brighter? Shinier? Not bigger but their eyes seem magical too in a weird way?
This got way longer than I thought sorry about that 😭

#Prompt 15 could be a good time 👀
You ask, i deliver🥰
"Each of my thoughts about you is improper."
Bloom sighed as she let the warm water of her bath wash away the five days worth of stress. She moaned as she submerged her body in almost boiling hot water, wet ends of her hair hanging over the edge of the bathtub. She closed her eyes and with a flick of her finger, the light in the bathroom turned off and strategically placed candles lit on fire giving the whole room romantic and relaxing atmosphere.
Her whole week has been spent running between planets in order to accommodate both pairs of her parents without having the other feeling left out. Not to mention the special training girls had to take in order to test their abilities to the maximum, training which was lead by Griselda. Even after so many years, that woman somehow always managed to make them nervous and she surely knew how to make their muscles quake in exhaustion after the practice. Between all those obligations, Bloom barely had energy to take a quick shower at the end of the day before she collapsed into her bed in Alfea. Sleep wouldn't catch up with her though, no matter how tired her body was.
Valtor was off doing some errands most of the days so the fact that she barely saw her boyfriend this week seemed to contribute to her bad mood and her insomnia.
Bloom couldn't remember the last time she felt so exhausted. Even the continuous fights against enemies of magic dimension never left her feeling so drained. If she was confident enough in herself not to drown, she wouldn't even leave this bath tonight. But as it is, she decided to enjoy the bath for as long as she could milk it, which in her case was, until the water got cold. She was fortunate enough that she managed to snag a night on Domino where she had a big enough bathtub to enjoy solitude.
Bloom was so engrossed in her thoughts, which could be the reason she didn't hear door of her room open, nor did she hear the shuffling of feet across the hardwood floor despite the fact bathroom door has been left open. A low wolf whistle made her jump, however, as she met the mischievous gray eyes of her boyfriend that stood leaning on a doorframe, seemingly enjoying the show.
"Now that's a sight for sore eyes."
Bloom sighed. "Though I appreciate the flattery, I'm pretty sure I look like I could work in a circus as a clown double right now."
Valtor raised one sharp eyebrow. "Do I need to have a chat with Faragonda about Griselda laying off a bit?"
Bloom shook her head. "No." Valtor came closer, his bare feet stepping into puddles that collected on the floor due to a steam. His eyes narrowed as he caught the sight of the bags underneath her eyes. "I've been having trouble sleeping this week. Maybe that's why I'm looking... awful."
Valtor came to sit at the edge of her bathtub. His fingers gently removed a wet lock from Bloom's unusually pale face. The bags underneath her eyes were indeed present, and it made her eyes look sunken and dull compared to its normal bright hue. "You're stunning, as always."
Bloom snorted. "Don't be getting any improper thoughts there mister."
Valtor stood up and took off his shirt in a single moment making Bloom's breath catch in her throat as low lights of candles perfectly accentuated his lean muscles. He was left standing in his signature purple pants but he showed no desire to remove them even as he gathered his hair in a messy bun at the top of his head and stepped into the bath behind Bloom.
Bloom squealed as the water spilled over the edge thanks to the added weight. Valtor pushed her forward a bit, making her bend her legs slightly as he settled himself comfortably behind her, still dressed in his pants. The water continued spilling over as he pulled Bloom to rest her back against his front, but all that Bloom could think about was the heart attack maids will get when one of them inevitably stumbles upon the mess. He leaned towards her, his abdominal muscles practically glued to her back as his hand removed the wet strands of her hair from her shoulders and neck.
He trailed a path of gentle, barely there, kisses across her collarbone. "Don't you know?" He spoke in a low voice that made butterflies scatter all across Bloom's lower abdomen.
"Know what?" She didn't sound breathless, that's what she kept telling herself as Valtor's hands started massaging her shoulders gently.
"Each of my thoughts about you is improper."
Bloom gasped as Valtor's hands started roaming across her chest, his skillful fingers dancing across her skin and lighting her on fire. The butterflies in her abdomen seemed to have evaporated into a pool of steaming hot want, and she gripped the edge of the bath as she felt the heat rushing south. His name was a prayer on her lips as he continued placing feather light kisses where he could reach. His hands slipped underneath the water, one of them around her waist, supporting her as the other one continued its path towards the place she needed him the most.
Valtor avoided the place she wanted him to touch and instead he gripped the soft flesh of her inner thigh as Bloom moaned and threw her head back, giving Valtor more access to her neck. With her head resting on his shoulder, he took the opportunity to explore the thin column of her neck, sucking a bruise to the place he knew clothes wouldn't be able to cover. The thumb of his hand that supported her waist grazed the excited flesh with every movement and Bloom's toes clenched in anticipation.
She heard Valtor chuckle next to her ear, his teeth gently nibbling on the shell, the sound sending bolts of lightning all across her body. She gripped the flesh of his arm as his fingers came dangerously close to her core, but not close enough to alleviate her of the frenzy she found herself in. How he managed to make her so worked up in such short period of time was a complete mystery to her. The flame in her chest burned brighter every time his fingers danced across an erogenous zone but failed to stick around long enough to be anything but a teasing graze.
"Please." It wasn't necessarily the plea as much as the needy, desperate tone of her voice that made Valtor give in and finally place his hand where she desperately needed him to touch her. At the first touch of hot fingers against the wet flesh, Bloom's hips snapped upwards, her spine curved as she let a small, breathless "Fuck yes." slip between her lips. The temperature in the bathroom rose for several degrees as Valtor spoke encouraging things against the skin of Bloom's cheek, the friction his fingers caused forcing her to curve in a way that allowed her maximum contact. At the end, it was the combined effort his touches provided together with his voice telling her to let go, that made her snap like a string of coiled rubber band. The tension broke as waves of ecstasy rushed across her body, her toes clenching as she sobbed softly while Valtor's fingers continued gliding across her skin. She collapsed, utterly boneless, against his chest when the final bolt of pleasure ran through her, making her twitch.
She closed her eyes under the thick mist of blissful silence and endorphin rush, Valtor's voice in her ear seemingly miles away. She felt the water disappearing around her as the feeling of being lifted into the air reached her. She instinctively wrapped her legs around Valtor as he carried her outside, the air turning dry and slightly cold against her heated skin. Her eyes stayed closed even as he muttered a quick spell to dry them both off and lower her onto the bed. She listened as he finally got rid of his pants and shuffled quietly to the bed before slipping in as carefully as possible.
Valtor wrapped his arms around her protectively as Bloom snuggled deeper into his chest. The last thought that ran through her head before she finally slipped into the unconsciousness was that perhaps, it was him, or lack of him in this case, that caused her to loose sleep.

Any villian that you don’t actually see as a villian? ( or evil )
I think witches in general shouldn’t be seen as evil characters, for an example Griffin the Headmaster of CloudTower
In season 1 it can come off as an misunderstanding that Griffin is evil because she encourages her students (the Trix) to go and wreck the party or go and mess with the Winx.
But the witches has become like outcasts of the society? And then Faragonda throws a party for Alfea students and Red Fountains students, to then try be like “me and Griffin is old colleges and friends”. I would have also been pissed and been the classic “so I’m the bad one here? Fine, then I’m bad guy” especially after that she had been accepted to work against the evil and work along with the other schools. And this is the thanks she gets? This is the thanks her students get? Not being invited and find new friends or start to work along with fairies.
I also think that Griffin is a good headmaster, she knew Trix were powerful in season 1 and only knew they were only having bad relationship with the Winx. So she said “Go and beat them if you want to, but don’t get caught or I have to deal with it.” Because when they DO get caught, Griffin didn’t hesitate at all to ban them from the school.
Faragonda also kinda does this but is more like “Girls don’t do this” but still allows it to happen. And the girls are fine, they only had their powers taken away 1 time. She let the Winx pass, she knows FULLY what they do is wrong but they are the “heroes” and she knows they can and will save everyones asses, she then doesn’t have to deal with saving the world.
Griffin was a fair headmaster and didn’t hold back secrets to the Winx when they needed information (what I remember). She doesn’t really spy on her students or else she would have long ago know what Trix was up to when wanting to steal the Dragon Flame from Bloom. They gave her a good small backstory and that she becomes part of the Light (what are they calling themselves?) that Faragonda offers her to join after leaving Valtor.
I’m glad they treat Griffin better in later seasons but c’mon, they treat that ALL witches are bad. It is girls like Mirta who “I choose to leave the witches and become a fairy instead!” that get a pass a good person. I don’t know how the Winx reacted to Seline (season 6) being a witch but to think how they were towards witches earlier seasons, meh.
So I have never seen Griffin as a villain even if early seasons made it seem like it.

Musa and Aisha in their enchantix! I still haven’t figured out how I want the wings to look but that’s ok I think.
Info on their relationship in my version of Winx Club below!
So when Aisha arrives at Alfea in season 2, it’s pretty much the same as in the original show. She doesn’t really know what to do. Anne was the only person her age she had ever really interacted with. The rest of the time she was pretty isolated and surrounded by adults. She has trouble figuring out exactly how to act around the winx and is really scared of messing things up.
Musa is also used to feeling like that. She has a lot of separation anxiety and fear of abandonment which she had manifest in the defense mechanism of not letting people get close so she couldn’t get hurt. She’s gotten better at handling it though ever since joining Alfea and getting a super close knit group of friends. As a result though, she can understand best how Aisha is feeling and is able to help in little ways the others can’t.
Musa does the most to make her feel more comfortable and at ease (the others do too but it just hits a little different coming from someone who really gets it, ya know?) and as a result they become much closer much faster. They find themselves talking more openly about their fears and insecurities and experiences when they’re alone and a they just end up having a really strong bond.
In my version of this, Musa and Riven did get together at the end of season 1, but they breakup around ¾ths of the way through season 2. They realize it just isn’t really healthy for either of them and they both bring out the worst in each other. They both have some insecurities from previous relationships and just their family life in general (Riven’s mom abandoned him, Musa’s mom is dead and her relationship with her father is pretty strained although it does start to get better after the concert episode in season 2), so Musa is the one who ultimately takes the initiative to break it off. They both aren’t happy and Riven takes it especially hard, but Timmy talks some sense into him and he starts working to get better around the end of season 2/beginning of season 3.
Another reason Musa breaks it off is along with realizing how much worse she feels with Riven and along with how much worse she is as a person with him, she has a moment of realization where she just goes “oh, but with Aisha, I DO want to be better, and I trust her so much more completley,, oh no.” and she’s basically like “now we don’t have time to unpack ALL of that right now” but along with ending her relationship being better for both Riven and her, she needs to think some stuff about that over.
Musa is in denial about liking Aisha for a while and tries to stifle it and convince herself it’s nothing or that it’ll go away. This isn’t because she’s having a Gay Panic or something though (in my thing she’s bi and has had partners of other genders before). The panic comes from at this point, Aisha is one of the closest people in her life despite them only knowing each other for about a year and she doesn’t want to ruin something good (cue abandonment issues). Musa handles this physically by being more shy and easily flustered and also by eventually talking to the winx about it. Tecna ties but in my thing, Tecna is borderline Aromantic (demi is what I’m thinking of for her, still haven’t figured it all out though) so she’s not very good at giving advice for it, but she’s happy to listen. Flora gives soft advice and a listening ear, ever the romantic, and Stella is too but she’s much more loud (she also feels bad about trying to hook Musa up with so many dates and her and Riven broke up now that she knows Musa was having a crisis the whole time, granted the date with Jared was a good thing since Jared and Musa became good friends so Stella won’t apologize for that one and Musa decides that’s fair), and Bloom is pretty awkward with relationship stuff so she does the “are ya winning, son?” approach to all of this. Musa appreciates that they’re all trying though, despite the various degrees of success.
Aisha doesn’t really talk to anyone about her feelings for Musa, which she realizes she has shortly after gaining her enchantix. During the first attack on Alfea in the their third year of school, when she sees her enchantix for the first time, and how sure of herself she was about doing what she could to save Galatea’s life and save all the ancient texts and tomes, she’s like “yup that pretty much confirms everything for me.”
In my version Aisha is a lesbian and she’s known for a WHILE. Anne was her first crush and she also liked some of the princesses and nobles that she would meet or see at the many fancy diplomatic meetings she would be dragged to. She’s very secure in her sexuality and romantic attraction (homophobia isn’t really a Thing in my version per se, but there are some concerns about lineage in upper circles for royalty and leaders, since not all queer couples can have children biologically and sometimes adoption is hard depending on the circumstances, ESPECIALLY if there is a form of magic that is needed to be transferred from one member of a family to the next member and it isn’t a guarantee or even possible for some magic to latch onto someone and become apart of their core if they aren’t biologically related). Aisha hadn’t mentioned it to her parents though. Her parents and her don’t have the most open relationship due to the very controlling and stifling nature of both the court her parents rule over and just their general demeanor which leads to the next issue: arranged marriage on Andros, which is something her parents still partake in, and that really makes both Musa and Aisha feel like their hearts are being grabbed and twisted. Once they tell her, she’s about to tell them but they leave soon after telling her because they have stuff to do and also they would rather speak to Aisha once she’s “calmed down some.” The next time she has time to tell them, shit with Valtor starts to hit the fan and it gets put on the backburner.
By the time Nabu shows up, it’s pretty rough. Once Aisha realizes who he is she’s mad because of course she is, this is the person she’s expecting to be with. Nabu is understanding of this, and gets it completely, especially since he originally lied about his identity. Aisha does take a breather though and they talk it out some. He wanted to see who he was arranged to marry like in the show, and Aisha says she honestly never wanted to see him, and he laughs and says that’s fair. They do end up having a “best bros” dynamic though eventually. AIsha tells him about Musa, and he says he’s so sorry about this whole thing and eventually they do meet up with their parents like in the show and they talk to them about everything finally and their parents tell them that the arranged marriage isn’t necessary in the end. It works out and Aisha and Nabu do a sickass secret handshake they made and all is well. The relationship between their kingdoms is also really strong regardless of marriage too due to their eventual life long friendship.
Aisha also eventually talks to Flora some about how she should go about asking Musa out and about whether or not she thinks it would be a good idea and Flora and Chatta (ESPECIALLY CHATTA) are doing EVERYTHING they can to not blurt out that Musa hasn’t been able to shut up about liking Aisha for over a year and a half at this point.
Over the season their relationship continues to get stronger.
TW: talk of e*ting disorder. Please skip this paragraph if that is triggering to you. I will have the next paragraph start with -paragraph over- so skip to that if you would like
I also have a thing in my version where Musa struggles with an e*ting disorder some just do to anxiety and insecurities and that was one of the ways those things ended up manifesting (that’s how it was for me and I’ve put a little bit of myself into each of these gals and pal (Tecna is nonbinary in my version and although they’re fine with being perceived as a woman and is cool with she/her pronouns and general slang terms like “gal,” “dude,” “bro,” etc., they still prefer overall being acknowledged as a nonbinary person by people who don’t know them very well (all pronouns are cool with them also. This stuff I just mentioned is how I am as a nonbinary person and I thought it fit Tecna too). This is why I have her looking a little thinner in my earlier sketches, since those take place in season 1 and 2. Aisha goes out of her way to help her however she can and Musa feels guilty but eventually Aisha just tells her to accept the help because she cares about her, she knows that Musa wants to get better (she started wanting to really work to stop skipping meals in the middle of season 2 and being less afraid of putting on weight. Her relationship with Riven wasn’t helping her mental state and this was around the point where she realized things probably weren’t going to get better unless she worked really hard on both herself and with setting better boundaries. Aisha was the only one to know about her skipping meals more than was healthy as it ended up coming out on one of their many late night heart to heart convos they like to have) and because it isn’t taking a toll on her mental health, and she promises to let her know if it does (Aisha also learned more about healthy boundaries during her time with the winx way to go, queen). They do meal preps together, get a healthy workout routine that doesn’t involve Musa dropping dead from exhaustion every time, and they get help pamphlets and Musa ends up seeing a counselor on campus to get some help and by the middle of season 3, things are a lot better, and while it’s still something that Musa is going to struggle with off and on during her life because that’s how this stuff tends to work, she has the tools to help herself better and she also has a really good support system and knows therapy is still an option if she needs it after her time at Alfea. The rest of the winx find out eventually too and are, of course, super supportive and proud of her.
-end paragraph-
The main takeaway from that paragraph is that Aisha and Musa are very close and supportive of each other and that I mention Tecna is nonbinary (all pronouns acceptable, although tends to prefer they/them)
Along with that being yet another huge thing that relates to them wanting to help each other grow and become better people, they just end up realizing that if they could choose a day where they could choose anyone to spend time with for the whole time, it would be each other.
By the end of their third year at alfea/the movie (unsure which yet exactly, but it’s in that time frame) they get together and they stay together for the rest of everything:)

Prompt 9 for tecmy? 🥰
9: There's only one bed and we sleep as far away from each other as possible but wake up cuddling
There were supposed to be two beds. How hard was it to make sure there were two beds? Tecna wouldn’t consider herself a normally violent person, but she had half a mind to beat whoever had messed up senseless. It took a minute before she remembered that Musa had been the one to make the reservations and the realization that Musa had likely messed up on purpose hit her hard – like she would possibly do to Musa.
She and Timmy had been sent to Oppositus on a scouting mission to see the state of the realm after Valtor’s attack and to figure out what they could about the attack and Valtor. When the girls had learned Timmy would be the only specialist going, they’d instantly and mercilessly volunteered Tecna to go with him. Honestly, Tecna was happy to go – she and Timmy were a couple, after all, and it was a great opportunity to spend some time together – but this single bed scenario was too far out of her comfort zone. They’d hadn’t kissed that much; they were nowhere near sharing a bed.
“Well, looks like they don’t have any other rooms available” Timmy announced as he entered the hotel room. “Apparently a lot of homes were destroyed, and people have been staying in hotels.”
Tecna nodded silently, running her hands over her thighs nervously. Timmy took a seat on the plush bed beside her and stopped her hands from rubbing through her pants. Once he was certain she wouldn’t inadvertently start a fire, he laid back on the bed, stretching his arms out into the down comforter. At least Musa had had the foresight to get a double bed and book them in a nice hotel instead of a cheap motel. That didn’t mean Tecna would forgive her though.
“I think there’s a sleeping bag in the ship” Timmy told her, sitting back up beside her. “I can sleep on the floor while we’re here.”
“We’re here for two nights, Timmy. I don’t want you to be tired and uncomfortable because of me.”
Timmy shrugged and gave her a soft laugh that made her heart bounce out of her chest. “I’ve slept in more uncomfortable places than a hotel room floor. I don’t mind.”
Tecna was about to object, but the redhead was out of the room and on his way to the ship they’d parked out front that took up much more than their allotted single parking space before she could speak. He returned five minutes later with a blue bag the colour of the Red Fountain uniform rolled under his arm. His head swiveled trying to figure out where to set up before he accepted that the only spot was beside the bed; the room was nice, but it was far from big.
Once the sleeping bag was unrolled, Timmy came to the unfortunate realization that he would not be able to sleep in it. “This must be the one Brandon accidentally spilled coffee on during our last mission... I guess he forgot to get it cleaned...”
“It’s okay, Timmy. We can share the bed.”
“Are you sure?” He looked up at Tecna, who wore an inscrutable expression. He knew Tecna had boundaries and that she took time to open up to certain things. Besides their first kiss after their time in the resort realm, they’d only kissed a handful of times and Tecna was only now beginning to initiate them. This would be beyond her comfort zone; he had no doubts about that, and the very last thing he wanted to do was pressure her.
Tecna insisted it was fine and abruptly announced that she was going to get ready for bed before Timmy could argue or she could change her mind. She wasn’t convinced that it was a good idea, but it was the only option besides Timmy sleeping on the floor – which she refused to let happen. As she brushed her teeth, Tecna tried to rationalise that it would be fine; it was a big bed, there was plenty of space for both of them.
When she exited, Timmy was already in his pajamas. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, legs crossed under him, snacking on a donut hole. He offered her one, but she refused, citing her freshly brushed teeth. Timmy brushed his own teeth and the two of them settled into the bed. As if sensing her discomfort, Timmy kept himself on the far side of the bed. If he moved anymore, Tecna worried that he might fall off the edge. She worried she might fall of the bed as she herself was also precariously close to the edge of the bed.
It took Tecna close to two hours to fall asleep. She was too distracted by her pounding heart, Timmy’s light snores and the heat that she could feel radiating off of him. Eventually, somewhere close to 1am, she drifted off to sleep.
When the alarm they’d set the night before rang, Timmy grabbed the phone from the bedside table and turned it off without ever opening his eyes - a bad habit he’d developed during his first year at Red Fountain when they’d been forced to get up at 4:30 for drills. He returned his arm to its previous placement and was surprised to find that the torso wasn’t his. He finally opened his eyes, and was even more surprised to find Tecna’s head on his chest. The fairy was mumbling something about telling Musa to turn her music off. Most shocking, however, was that he was still near the edge of the bed and Tecna had scooted across the king-sized mattress to him.
Timmy considered waking her, but he was very much enjoying the proximity. A few more minutes wouldn’t hurt, he told himself as he rested his cheek against the top of her head. He hooked his arms around her and nestled in closer.
When Tecna woke half an hour later, she was a combination of shocked and embarrassed. The proximity, however, was nowhere near as uncomfortable as she feared it would be. In fact, it was nice. Really nice. Nice enough that once she’d gotten over the shock, she laid her head back on his chest and threw her arm over his body. Maybe she could understand why the other girls loved cuddling with their boyfriends so much.
Eventually they’d had to get out of bed to work on their mission, but when they went to bed that second night, there made no pretense of trying to staying apart. They laid in the middle of the bed with Tecna’s head on Timmy’s chest and his arms wrapped around her. The couple fell asleep almost instantly and remained curled up together until the next morning. The next evening when they’d get back to Alfea, Musa would ask how everything went and Tecna would have forgotten all about her desire to assault the musical fairy. Instead, she’d give Musa no satisfaction, just a quick ‘fine’ and an enigmatic smile.

2, 3 and 4 :)?
Thanks! :D
This one is from a Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries AU that I haven't talked about yet because it's still a mess in my head and I don't particularly care about the murders if I'm being honest, just about the setup they provide. So if this ever gets written, it's only going to be the emotional scenes with character development and barely anything on the actual crime solving.
2. What’s your favorite relationship in your story? Could be the main one, one your characters shares with a friend, etc.
My favorite relationship is between Griffin (the main character) and Bloom, who she takes in at the end of the first episode since Bloom has nowhere to go (or that's what she tells her) and isn't quite of age yet. I love the way they rely on each other since both of them are loners of their own doing because they're both convinced they are dangerous to the people around them and keep their distance to keep everyone else safe from themselves. It turns out that Griffin was friends with Bloom's dead parents and the relationship between the two of them helps Griffin come to terms with her past and her involvement in the events that killed Bloom's parents. Griffin helps Bloom break away from her fear of herself and learn more about herself and her abilities. They just really make each other's lives livable and much more and I love how they bring out so much positive change in the other.
3. If you had to direct a scene from your fic, what would you choose? Why? What would it look like? What techniques would you use to convey certain emotions? What would the set look like?
I think I'd pick the scene where Griffin's best friend - Faragonda - is brought in for questioning on suspicion of murder. I choose this scene because it brings out the most emotions from Faragonda. She's a warm person but she has a lot of trauma and hurt buried deep down and this scene brings all of that to the surface. Her private life and her emotional state are undergoing scrutiny by a person who's a stranger to her and by her best friend and she has things she would like to keep private from both of them. There's a big moment in the scene where feelings of hurt and pain between Griffin and Faragonda come out and there's a very tense feeling because that is a big reveal that they need to deal with to keep their friendship going but in the current moment they need to push it down in order to be able to prove Faragonda's innocence and there are these opposing impulses that are both aimed at saving their friendship in completely different ways. There's a lot of unwillingness on Faragonda's part to admit the truth even when she knows that not admitting it could get her in jail for murder and there's a lot of desperation on Griffin's part to help her friend only to be slapped in the face with how detrimental her past decisions have been to their friendship. On top of that, there's also the matter of them both a) mourning their shared friend that was killed, b) find the killer in order to honor their friend and find justice for her murder and c) shame that neither of them knows their dead friend well enough to be of more use to the investigation. It's a very emotional scene and one that speaks volumes of their characters and friendship.
Now I don't know much about directing but the scene would take place in a room for questioning and I would keep it as decluttered as possible. Only a table and chairs and the characters inside. Both as a way of leaving them nowhere to hide from the truth and so that there won't be anything to distract from the emotions that are taking place. Even their clothing would probably be an idea plainer than usual for that purpose. There will be, of course, fidgeting with any part of their outfits and avoidance of eye contact. I would mostly focus the camera on Griffin and Faragonda with enough time for the words that are said to sink in for both of them. There will only be quick shots of Valtor to remind that he is there both as an outsider to their friendship (something that will annoy Faragonda) and as the new variable that they desperately need to get out of the mess they've made (since left to their own devices, they managed to end up with suspicions of murder and bitterness between them). I could see Griffin standing while Faragonda and Valtor are sitting and towering over them as the one with the highest drive to get everything resolved (since she doesn't have any notions that are holding her back like the other two do). There's definitely a distance between her and Faragonda and it doesn't grow when the reveals happen but it's there to show the way they are stuck at a certain distance from each other thanks to their choices. Valtor is very much the one directing the conversation, though, and handling the impact that the confessions make on the two of them. That's all I can think of for now. I tried my best but you tell me if you'd hire me as a director. XD
4. What are your main character(s)’ motivations? What do you consider their main drivers?
Griffin's motivation in coming back to Magix City and solving crimes is to make up for her past mistakes. She's done some bad things that she can't make her peace with despite the long time that's passed (over 17 years) and she is trying to do the right thing now. Or at least that's what she tells herself. In fact, she is trying to run away from the overwhelming guilt she feels about her mother's death and she's trying to protect her father from herself because she's making him suffer with her inability to let go of that as she's still hunting for the killer over two decades later. She feels that if she finds out who murdered her mother and finds firm evidence of the motive, it would help her put the past to rest (and maybe feel less guilty).
The motivation of the other main character - Valtor - is actually a big twist so like MAJOR SPOILERS (I say like I'm confident this will definitely see the light of day and it might very well never see the light of day but still)). Valtor's main focus is finding a way out of the situation he's in where he's being blackmailed into working for the wrong side of the law. He did some things he shouldn't have (much like Griffin) and now they're being hung over his head by the big baddies and he needs to do what he's told which makes Griffin feel wildly betrayed when she learns about that in the last season. And I still haven't figured out what his cover-up motivation will be while he's hiding his true intentions because I haven't had time yet to consider all the characters individually while I'm piecing together the big picture.
There are several other characters who make appearances in almost every episode but I haven't yet figured out all of this AU so I'd rather not talk about them before I've decided what goes where.

Issue Thirty-Five: The Trial
Tumblr media
Ah yes because of the safety and defense of Andros, Solaria, ect is the responsibility of the magic schools on Magix
I wasn't aware that they were military outposts and not schools!!!
The way they treat the schools in the comics bothers me soooo much
Tumblr media
Kiko has wings now, asking questions will only confuse you more
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"here let me show you what my students were doing" *immediately shows two people from a different school*
Bravo actually
Tumblr media
HOW THE FUCK DID THEY EVEN GET TO VALTOR!!!! WHO LET THEM INTO THE OMEGA DIMENSION!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!
And expelled.....god the comics are worse than the show about sensical punishments for the Trix
Tumblr media
This fucking idiot is annoying and stupid but he has a fucking point, who the fuck was watching the Trix and how did they let them end up on Omega in the first place
But like it's not anyone's fault that the Trix in the comics are just naturally evil
You're both so stupid. When they immediately betray your dumbasses and nearly gets you two killed I hope it will be worth it
Tumblr media
A TRUE FUCKING NECK BEARD OH MY GODDD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why is Stormy pretending to be Flora??? Darcy makes more sense and Flora and Stormy are VERY different
This only worked because there were fat away
Also, reverse S8 shape shifting
Tumblr media
If Helia got closer, the other guy is a literal tree, he would have figured out this was a trap but he doesn't
He kinda follows them around from a polite distance, which is really funny
FLORA DOESN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO FEEL SAD!!! GIRL FEEL BAD FOR YOURSELF FOR ONE MINUTE, YOUR MOM FRIEND ENERGY IS MAKING ME TIRED
Tumblr media
You know this dream had her actually communicating with Brandon so I got to wonder if that's actually Valtor
Tumblr media
This sequence is so beautiful!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How Stella spoke to Brandon in her dreams is brushed off, she simply did, power of LOVE baby
Tumblr media
When Riven fucked up and nearly got the squad killed Helia was all like "I must take responsibility and accept this because I was leader while it happened and it's my fault" but now he's lying
He's embarrassed!!! Helia bby nooo it's okay
.... Actually I agree with dumb and dumber now, you are one stupid ass mother fucker and I don't know how anyone in the light council made it into adulthood being that idiotic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BCJDHFJSJD HELIA WHY ARE YOU BEING SO DRAMATIC HELP FNSNDJSK A SIMPLE EXPLANATION WOULD SUFFICE
He's soooo busy being in his own feelings and upset with himself he forgot about how Flora must feel gjsnfjsks he's such a little idiot Im starting to love him
Tumblr media
Riven: *fucks up and nearly gets himself and Timmy killed*
Helia: well we all make mistakes, as long as he apologizes and promises to not do it again
Later
Helia: *makes one mistake*
Helia: I AM A FAILURE OF THE HIGHEST ORDER, I MESS UP EVERYTHING, I CANT BE ALLOW TO CONTINUE TO RUIN THE GOOD NAME OF SPECIALISTS
This boy has NO self esteem babyyyyyyy
I love him, please get therapy your self esteem has broken though the floor and is underground

- Break up Flora x Helia or Tecna x Timmy
- Break up Bloom x Sky or Musa x Riven
- Make Blicy or Driven endgame
- Cancel Fate or reboot the cartoon
- Reveal who’s behind anon asks or never be able to send anon asks
under the read more just cause it's a little long!
-gonna cheat and say neither. i hate elevators and i don't use them so i wouldn't even get trapped hahah gottem. okay but actually, i'd pick musa first but only if she's having a good day. stella if musa's being pissy about something.
-tecna! she has the focus and drive that would allow us to get the lab done properly without anyone screwing up or not pulling their fair share. don't get me wrong, i love flora and she's canonically one of the best students, but she daydreams a little too much for me to want to partner with her aldhgljadgh
-i wanna fight aisha so bad it makes me look stupid
-good lord they'd both suck as bosses. i choose icy on the slight chance that i think i could act unhinged enough for her to fall in love with me and she wouldn't be as mean
-i love stormy and she would be so much fun to be around.. but i have to go with darcy because she would at least get the work done (ik stormy would ditch.. i know she would.)
-lmao brandon????? obviously brandon. i'm sorry i love riven and i know he's tries his hardest but i'm not getting advice from mr "timmy give up already she's dead >:(" pissy pants over here
-cheating again i choose both >:) (if i absolutely have to choose one,, probably helia. it would be completely silent the entire time and i'd hate it but i'd get too self-conscious around nabu. s3 nabu however i'd choose in a heartbeat!)
-griffin's hot i choose her
-diaspro!! i literally think about that one comic issue where she actually tried to get over sky and attempted to make peace with bloom every single day. i genuinely think they wanted to put her story to an end and it was nick's fault that she came back (like. genuinely. i believe that with all my heart).
-hmm i'm gonna go with tecna! i don't like the idea of almost drowning
-stella baby i'm so sorry but i'm gonna have to go with stella losing her face. i genuinely think she could learn to live with that and i know the others would still love her regardless. tecna on the other hand,, that's too much. taking away her emotions is like taking away her humanity.
-.... Stella Baby I'm So Sorry but i'm gonna have to pick break up brella! both of them are lovely people and they could find someone else aljdghljadgh i like aibu too much to do that to them
-obviously, i have to break up florelia. again they could both find someone else alkdghladhg tecmy is too good 😌
-hmmmm.... that's actually kind of tough...... i think. i'm going to choose skoom. rivusa at least try to make their relationship work and if we're ignoring later seasons crimes, they were pretty solid by the end of s4. skoom on the other hand,,, rainbow will never let them get past acting like children so nah. bloom can't call him out where she needs to and sky's just.. Sky.... so no aljdghljadgh
-blicy! i.. don't love them as much as others but i do find their dynamics interesting! driven i only find interesting in canon and them getting together would be a little boring for me i think.
-cancel fate. (they tried rebooting the cartoon and it got us s5+ and s8 so.. if the reboot was more like wow and also not racist at all then i'd consider that! but as of right now, i really don't want to see more of what fate has to offer. it's already bad enough and i think managing to get it canceled would send a small message that audiences won't stand for that mess. it's not gonna happen but one can dream!)
-probably reveal who's behind anon! i get too nervous to send things off anon sometimes alkgdhlajdg

Deep Dive: Diaspro! Season three
When things really heat up for our favorite bad girl!
We meet Disa late in episode seven, she’s on Eraklyon and looking out a window at the happy people below, with an evil expression on her face.  Her maid brought her this slinky red dress for the Millennium Party. But Diaspro is super grumpy!  She knows her ex will be there with Bloom and she can’t stand it!
Poor Disa!  Why does she have to be at the party?  I assume royal obligations.  Y’know, it occurs to me that we never hear anything about her royal parents trying to set her up with someone else.  I mean, it’s been at least a year since Sky officially broke the engagement in season one but Disa’s not on the market for a new prince.  Maybe her folks are waiting for her to get over Sky a little.
Diaspro walks over to a mirror.  Rai Disa says “Sky thinks Bloom is prettier than me?  Ridiculous!” while 4kids Disa makes a wish to get rid of Bloom.  And here’s Valtor! Stepping out of the mirror. Both Diaspros threaten to call the guards, but Valtor says he’s here to help, and gives Diaspro a potion.
It’s a love potion but Valtor doesn’t actually say that.  And even if he did, he could be lying.  When Sky drinks the potion later Valtor’s mark appears in his eyes suggesting the potion puts Sky in Valtor’s power, not Diaspro’s.  Not Diaspro’s smartest moment, giving her sweetie a potion from a villain!  But maybe she magically tested it later, if you want to think of her as smarter than is shown on screen.
Right there Diaspro goes from victim to villainess by being willing to mess with Sky’s free will to get him and by dealing with shady characters.  Later on we see that Rai Diaspro knows that was Valtor and 4kids Diaspro at least knows who Valtor is, so it seems Disa worked with a major villain of her own free will!
In the next episode the Winx arrive at the Millennium Party.  Diaspro’s hiding in the bushes with her potion.  Sky asks Bloom for a dance, after which he’ll announce to the world that they’re a couple!  But before he can, here comes Diaspro with a drink!  Both Skys say, “Oh.  Hi, Diaspro.” without any enthusiasm.  Diaspro says that’s no way to greet an old friend, and more than a friend!  Sky says all that is in the past but Diaspro requests one last toast.  And makes an evil lil smirk.
Ok, in a world where potions exist… Sky, you bonehead! He gets up and announces he’s gonna marry Diaspro.  She runs to him and hugs him.  With an evil smirk.  Rai Diaspro thinks, “Valtor’s potion worked; you’re finally mine!” so at least one Diaspro knew who Valtor was.
And… an evil smirk.  Gloating.  NOT bone-deep relief that her life was finally right again after falling so far off track, not desperate joy that she could hug the man she loves again.
Bloom immediately goes, “He must’ve realized he loves her!” while Stella is the one to suspect foul play.  The Winx charge in to demand answers!  Diaspro tells her honey, “Those girls are out to get us, they’re dangerous!  They’re witches working for Valtor!”  She gets Sky to call the guards on the Winx.  Run awaaaay!
In cloudy evil land 4kidsValtor praises Diaspro’s “ruthlessness, her looks and her witchy temper” and wants her to join team evil!  The Trix are not in favor.  Rai Valtor just explains that his potion started all this, but he also thinks Disa would make a good fourth Trix then says he was just teasing.  Were the writers considering that?!
There’s more running and shouting and Sky comes after the girls on a dragon, with Rai Sky delivering a chilling, “In the olden days witches were punished with fire, and that’s what I’ve got in store for you.” The voice actor just nails this line, he’s terrifying.  So, Disa’s turned her sweetie into a terrifying murderbot!
Some days pass, Bloom goes back to Gardenia like she does when bad stuff happens, the Winx and the boys try to figure out what’s up with Sky.  The boys can tell Sky’s under a spell but Sky’s parents don’t seem to realize it, and they don’t let Brandon in to SEE Sky.  Erendor’s kinda a bonehead but really, no suspicions?
Sky announces he and Diaspro are getting married as soon as possible. Diaspro smirks evilly. Rai Erendor actually announces the engagement. The people of Eraklyon cheer.
We jump ahead to the engagement party where Diaspro is complaining about Sky’s clothes even though she’s the one who chose them.  Sky repeats her words in a super hypnotized fashion.  4Kids Diaspro even says it’s nice having an obedient boyfriend.
The girls break in, Bloom confronts Sky, he calls them witches and attacks! He gets all crazy-eyes and says he wants Bloom out of his life for good, but Stella Enchantix-magics him out of the game.  When he goes down the girls see he’s got Valtor’s mark on his shoulder!  It’s a spell, but fairy dust takes care of that!
Diaspro sics the guards on everybody and the girls run away but Diaspro’s plan is ruined.  Rai Diaspro leaves them with, “You haven’t heard the last of me, Bloom! Sky will be mine!” but we don’t see her again.  The wiki says we hear from Sky later that guards caught her and exiled her, but I watched that episode and didn’t hear the line.  Maybe it’s only in whichever version I didn’t watch.
So!
In this season Diaspro jumps from mean girl to criminal.  And it… doesn’t make a huge amount of sense, really.  We know she “wants Sky to be hers” but she doesn’t care if he really likes her or is just mind-controlled to like her.  She doesn’t care if he’s himself or a hypnotized zombie.  She doesn’t care if she has to work with the big bad or risk giving her ‘true love’ an unknown potion.  And then she’s happy to put the Winx’s lives in danger.  So she’s happy to do things she knows Sky would never forgive her for.
But she doesn’t tell us what she’s thinking when she does these things, so even though she does a lot of stuff this season’s Diaspro appearance doesn’t give us much to go on!
How can we make this character make sense?  From where we’re standing as watchers of the show it’s clear the writers just went, “Let’s do this plot with Diaspro!” and it’s a good plot but it confuses Diaspro’s character between mean girl and actual baddie. But from within the story, what can we say?  Maybe she’s under a spell.  In a later episode Valtor needs an invitation to enter Cloud Tower, so maybe when Diaspro accepted the potion it let Valtor get his magical hooks into her and his evil influence twisted her feelings for Sky into evil.
The only other explanation I can think of is Diaspro just fell into obsession.  After being raised with marriage to Sky as the point of her life she just can’t change direction, even to look for another suitable prince.  Her obsession replaced her love for Sky, since she was happy to have a hypnotized zombie boyfriend.  All of Sky’s personality was gone so he barely even counts as Sky.  And her parents either agree that no other prince will do or just don’t realize how out of control their daughter is getting.  We don’t see much of Diaspro’s parents so maybe she lives at the palace and her folks live elsewhere.
And I can only imagine Sky doesn’t know what’s up with his ex.  I get the impression that Sky was the center of Diaspro’s life but Diaspro was never the center of Sky’s.  She he just didn’t realize what he was doing to Diaspro when he dumped her.  Of course he still should have; marrying someone to save them doesn’t work. But he could have talked to Diaspro’s parents to make sure they helped her recover and get a new life plan and maybe some professional counseling.
But instead of help Diaspro gets left off screen for all of season four and returns in season five for more  mean girl/villain antics.  Which we’ll look into… eventually.

What are you planning to do with the Winx earning Enchantix in your rewrite? Will the Omega arc be included?
The fine details are subject to change until the season is finished being written but I can give you a vaguer outline of what's happening, the Enchantix are pretty entwined with the plot but for the most part, there are similarities from the canon. The one I've changed the most is Bloom, who is actually earning her Enchatix rather than 'Main Character privileging' her way to a half assed form.
Season three (The very abridged edition) spoilers below (the plot points mentioned are the ones that affect the Winx and their Enchantix
Enchantix Master list:AishaGuest FairiesStellaMusa + Guest FairyFloraTecnaBloomWinx's B-teamFinal Word
Life or death situations and discussions there of:
Aisha gets her Enchantix is a similar way to canon, but the context is changed by the fact that when she set out to rescue her aunt, she set out to rescue her aunt and the other survivors, there was no intention of finding the Coral Sceptre to restore her eyes.
The chance to heal herself is a there and dismissed moment, part of a larger “I'm doing what I have to for my people, I'll worry about myself later” moment. It's a more quiet sacrifice, and one that can easily be passed by, but it felt more true to the girl that climbed Darkar's fortress by herself and tried to punch a magical force field down.
It's also less... I don't know if forced or contrived would suit better, but the fact that in the show she went specifically for the thing that she had to give up only to get what she was after all along... it doesn't sit quite right in my head sometimes?
-
Nova got her Enchantix when she agreed to stay behind despite the obvious danger to herself, but I didn't say so explicitly in the text.
Next to get her Enchantix is actually the first to get her Enchantix, special guest star 'princess' Varanda of Callisto. (She'll be joining the team on Solaria for a bit.) Her earning is left at a vague 'I made the right choice to stay on Callisto instead of attending Alfea, some shit went down, now I'm Enchantix.' (off screen back in season 1)
-
Stella is up next, and her Enchantix is a little more than canon, but also some of the same focus. With the ritual interrupted, Solaria is suffering an instability, and while some people are doing what they can, it hasn't been enough because Valtor was using the instability to make a play for the Second Sun of Solaria. To do that he needed to weaken it to the point where it was itself becoming unstable.
So someone has to fix it, and as the Heir of the Sun, that someone is king Radius, freshly freed from Cassandra's grasp. Stella steps in with a screw that, because more than her duty to her people, is her love for her family and she's not going to let her father die, even if it kills her. She makes the potential sacrifice so her father won't have to. Unlike the show in which Stella 'ran out of magic' and desperate-act! threw herself in front of her father, this is a deliberate choice she considered to be the best option. (This is also where Stella picks up her extra Transformation (Cosmix/Astralix) which will come into play later.)
At About this time, the Winx split their party further as they realise that Valtor is trying to collect powerful artefacts and spells and go to warn various people.
-
Musa travels home to Melody to speak with the royal family, expecting more resistance, only to find princess Galatea recognises her from the concert several weeks prior. Having been at the concert and having seen Musa in action, the princess is prepared to give Musa the benefit of the doubt and the duo set of to ensure the Magical McGuffin of Melody is secured. When they arrive they find suspicious activity and discover Valtor inside. Both Galatea and Musa give their all, Galatea thinking of her people, and Musa thinking of her friends and all those she'd seen suffering as a result of Valtor's return, both know they cannot back down, and both decide their lives are nothing compared to what they're trying to protect. (It is one of only a few very rare instances of multiple fairies earning their Enchantix at the same time.)
Since the girls are still on break, it didn't make sense to send them back to Alfea just for the Enchantix, and given that Galatea was prepared to die to protect a legacy (the Alfea Library), that pays off this time. Musa refusing to back down in the face of danger though is very her, so I just adapted that to the new location.
-
Flora on the other hand has called Helia, whom she recalls mentioning during a double group hang out knows princess Krystal. Helia is with Saladin when the call arrives, so he understands that Flora's not messing around, and agrees to make introductions. With Helia by her side, Flora is able to convince princess Krystal that things are dire, and she in turn tells her parents. Then while the adults are taking care of things, Krystal and Flora perform a convergence type spell to vibe with the planet and locate any trouble that might be Valtor. They locate the Trix by an Ancient Tree known as the Black Willow, this is bad but it will take time for a task force to get mobilised, so Flora and Krystal head out to scout the situation. On the way they meet up with Miele who has noticed the plants feeling troubled and gone to investigate. Flora tries to play the big sister card, but Miele gets her way, so the trio go on. Obviously they end up fighting with the Trix and Miele goes into the water which has Temporal properties. And Miele can't swim. The Trix realise they won't be getting what they're after and take off.
Flora's Earning is more personal than combative, her sacrifice isn't some greater good, it's her sister. Her sister will drown if she does nothing, but if she jumps in the water it will cause a reversal of time in her, stripping her of everything she has become and she still might not make it to Miele which Krystal reminds her of before Flora can dive in.
But it's her sister so of course she's going to try, Flora shoves Krystal away and dives after Miele.
In canon Flora went to save her sister and then... chose to stay behind and drown? Maybe? It felt a little unclear what she thought she was doing, but it seemed a little dumb and completely avoidable, so I'm making the stakes a little more clear cut and relevant to Flora's character arc. Alt Con Flora's sacrifice is the willingness to give up everything she has become, every piece of character growth, every memory she's made in order to save her sister. Unlike the other Winx, Flora's sacrifice is about one single person, no added bonus of saving the world. (“Besides, if I can't save one of my most important people, if I'm not willing to even try, what the hell good am I as a Fairy?!”)
Flora's Enchantix happens, mystical Tree shenanigans ensue and everything is fine, Flora finishes at Lynphea and heads back to Andros to regroup.
-
While on Andros a few b-plots happen and the Winx get a call from the Magix guard who questioned them after the big wave, just to touch base and see if they had any more information on the situation. Through her, the Winx realise the Museum of Magix might be a target and split the party once more to go see about some security measures.
Tecna stays on Andros with Musa and Flora, while Aisha goes with Stella and Bloom to Magix. Aisha's just been told about the engagement and is pissed because the middle of a crisis is neither the time nor the place and it's not okay - even if it was the time or place - for them to engage her without asking, so she wants some breathing space.
The reason the girls split is because Tecna has been working with some other folks to see if they can fix the problem with the Tidal Gate (the forced connection to Omega) which has been warping the energies of the area and making combating the bad guys way harder than it needs to be.
You can probably guess what happens now.
-
Tecna leads a team out to the Tidal Gate to close it, the way the Gate was forced open from Omega damaged the Gate. Omega doesn't have an Ocean Gate, it is completely cut off from the system, and more, Omega devours magical energy not native to it, which is basically everything. The Trix show up as the team begins to close the portal to screw things up.
They manage to take out most of the team, leaving Tecna to try to finish closing the portal by herself or release the half completed spell. They ran the numbers, they hypothesised the risks, logic tells her to stop and try again under better circumstances, but Tecna feels the energy flow.
She knows that the numbers and calculations of risk were wrong, if she stops now, if the portal isn't closed, the damage to the Tidal Gate caused by the backlash of this attempt will ensure the forced connection becomes irreversible. The natural protections around Omega that make it the perfect prison also protect the rest of the Magical Dimension from the world's effects, and the portal has none of them. The Tidal Gate will effectively become a black hole.
Logic tells her one thing, her instincts tell her another. Tecna trusts herself and calculates the best way to close the portal alone, able to see that the Trix aren't going to let up. She realises she'll have to close it all the way back along the path, back to the other end on Omega. Tecna sends a goodbye message to her friends over the comm bracelets and dives into the portal, fully expecting to come out the other side dead.
In a way Tecna's Enchantix is the closest to canon, and again there's more of a deliberate choice even though there's no choice at all. The only issues I really had with the canon version was that it called into question the die hard rules the canon set for Enchantix, and it took so long for the gate to act up that it was obviously contrived, the girls have had enough time in canon to go back to school and do several other side quests things. It felt like it only happened so Tecna could get her Enchantix, "the Enchantix is the cause the portal is the result" rather than "the portal is the cause and the Enchantix is the result".
In the Alt Con the whole season takes not very long at all, it's very much an on going issue, very much a crisis. So the biggest change here was just trying to make it more natural.
Since Tecna left a message, the Winx know exactly what she's doing, understand why she's doing. They also know this means she'll be popping out on Omega (potentially dead) and they decide “bugger that for a joke, let's go get our girl”, and make plans to take The Sparx to Omega to find Tecna.
(Seriously everyone but Timmy giving her up for dead/lost when they knew where the portal lead and how to get there was DUMB!!! and done only so Timmy could score shipping points I s2g.)
-
The Team on Magix were joined by Ophir and they discovered the Museum had already been robbed, and Bloom is getting 'proximity sick' because Valtor is still on planet, Aisha discovers Ophir is Nabu (her surprise fiancé) who explains “parents will parent” and they get over it and decide to try dating once the crisis is over.
Shortly after Tecna's message, Bloom gets the very strong sense that something is wrong with Daphne.
Bloom tells the others to go get Tecna while she goes to check on Daphne, the Winx try to argue but Bloom reminds them that Tecna will need all possible help if she's going to stand any kind of chance of surviving (if she's managed to survive the portal).
(Bonds of friendship mentions re:finding a single fairy on a hell planet is why they don't call recovery experts who may already be busy with the Valtor Crisis, and no one is crazy enough to willingly go to Omega. Also Stella's new Space Form is the only thing that's going to get them back out of Omega.)
Bloom puts in a call to Alfea on her way to Roccaluce, and finds Griselda and Faragonda are there trying to organise help for Andros and a way to find and stop Valtor. Bloom tells them what she's been sensing, and they promise to meet her at Lake Roccaluce.
Bloom Arrives first to find Valtor has summoned some kind of freaky ass shrine and has Daphne somehow pinned to it. Valtor seems confused by Bloom's presence, but determined to finish what he's doing, so Bloom tries to free Daphne who's in intense pain.
Daphne explains that Valtor is trying to pull Daphne back into the corporeal world, that he's using a device that will keep her alive if he succeeds in returning her... but he'll also try to take the Vault of Domino which Daphne has in a subspace pocket, and worse, he'll have the Crystal of Power Kiko had accidentally stolen form Relix. There's some back and forth and light, almost combat, and Daphne says that Valtor is way more insane than last time they met, and Valtor reveals that if Bloom wants to free Daphne, she'll have to destroy the device holding the spectral fairy, which would kill her super dead, like no more ghost dead.
If Daphne dies the vault will be locked, lost forever, out of Valtor's hands. But Daphne will be Dead.
If Daphne is restored to life, the vault can be forced open and its contents taken. But Daphne will be Alive.
Daphne and Bloom have a heart to heart and Bloom sees not just her big sister who loves her more than anything, she sees Crown Princess Daphne, Leader of the Nymphs of Magix.
Faragonda and Griselda arrive just in time to shield Bloom as the young fairy destroys the device.
Bloom's canon Enchantix gain was dumb, the idea that it had to be a person from one's own home-world was dumb, especially when Tecna saved hers by proxy of saving the universe. It was done to show what a special princess Bloom was, it wasn't even a “the Dragon Fire Privileges” thing, it was an "MC privilege" thing. Let's Be Honest.
Alt Con Bloom manages to earn her Enchantix fully, in the most horrific way of all the Winx, because Bloom's sacrifice was Daphne. The chance to get her back, to save her, to hold her, the chance to ever learn anything from her again.
It mirrors her interactions in Stella's Enchantix, where Bloom had to let Stella sacrifice herself to save solaria, but in that instance all Bloom had to do was stand aside and do nothing (except hold back bad guys), and she never truly believed that Stella wouldn't come back.
In Bloom's Enchantix she takes an active role with hard line consequences she has no reason to doubt. There are two horrible options before her, one of which could have turned out good maybe if they were implausibly lucky, but Bloom has to weigh the options and do whatever has the best outcome for the most people, even if it sucks for her. (It's what Daphne wanted, but that doesn't make it easier.)
-
Diaspro and Mirta won't be getting their Enchantix this season. Diaspro is going to be facing a “die or be used to hurt your people again” situation and “would rather die thanks”, and Mirta... I would like for her to have a similar scene to episode 311, where she tried to shield Lucy (only it was an illusion) because I feel like she got robbed in canon when that didn't earn her an Enchantix (because on noes, fake!Lucy! so it doesn't count).
-
The thing I think is the most different between the Alt Con and the Canon Enchantix is that the Alt Con isn't something you can luck into. Canon felt very “I reacted and luckily my Enchantix”, where as I'm trying to add an insinuation in the Alt Con that the sacrifice needed to earn the Enchantix is... not necessarily deliberate, but definitely a choice. Fairies, by nature of who and what they are often making sacrifices and give of themselves for others, typically as a reflex ie. jump in front of someone with a shield to try and catch a spell. Not every selfless act of sacrifice earns an Enchantix or there would be far more of them. Enchantix is earned when the stakes are high and a fairy has to face how far they would go, deliberately make the choice.
One other note: Fairy Dust and Miniaturisation, once earned can be used from any form, it's just trickier.
