(Part 2 for this piece) --- Two years later...

The night air was crisp as Kira took a deep breath and went to do some last minute fix up around the camp site. This ran her rather ragged, as she was busy with official Alliance Lunar New Year celebrations. She kept this to herself, with a few alliance droids assisting in lifting some heavier stuff to the woods.

At the end of the first night of the lunar new year, Kira had slipped a note for Theron to meet her here, along with a gift, wrapped in red and gold. She sucked her breath, having a feeling that Theron knew what she asked. After all, he was a spy boy and kept tabs on everything around, even small stuff like Kira sneaking off with extra lanterns. Or getting a pot to heat up water. Or ordering extra items that wasn’t on the official list that Hylo and herself had ordered.

Just as she was fixing up the last lantern, she heard slight footsteps. Quickly, she turned to see Theron with a bashful smile. Kira approved at his arrival, as relief swept upon her that he was wearing the gift she had left for him. Admittedly, Kira was rather worried as she was a bit too risqué for Theron’s taste. But he wore the lunar new year outfit she left him, much to Kira’s delight at the sight of the intentional wardrobe malfunction.

“You’ve been rather busy Kira,” Theron took a glance around as he turned back, a faint blush developing across his cheek. “I didn’t have time to bring anything…”

Kira waved a hand. “No need, handsome. It’s not as grand as a few years ago but it’s just for us…”

“Along with the official celebrations.” Theron walked up to her and gave her a soft squeeze. “I thought what you were planning was going to be yesterday but I was surprised when you left me the note to meet here.”

Kira leaned into his warmth for a moment. “I had been planning this for months.” Regrettably, Kira lets go and gestures to the sitting area for them. “Let’s sit down and enjoy the snacks and the moon.”

She paused a little, awkwardness setting in. Even with Kira forgiving him during the last year and Theron relieved beyond measure, she was still relearning what they had before. But she knew things were different and they were both older. Probably not much wiser but it was a step forward for them. “And each other’s company.”

Kira felt the urge to smack herself, as she was not used to being rather needy of Theron. It was a normal thing in a relationship, one so precocious in their rebuilding as theirs.

Theron probably had sensed what she felt and gave her a small kiss. “I would love that,” Theron spoke softly, pulling them down to the sitting area before leaning in to kiss her again.

A laugh came to Kira’s lips as she didn’t expect the sudden movement to be plopped down on top of him. “Slow down there, handsome.”

Theron gave her another kiss on her cheek before moving away. “Sorry, got a bit carried away there…”

Kira got herself comfortable with the dress she wore and snuggled up to Theron. “One more kiss before we admire the stars for the rest of the night?” she asked, grinning in happiness.

Theron answered her with another kiss before they settled in for the night of quiet, for the new year.

Another sketch page. I really like figuring out the dynamics between my dudes (maybe one day I’ll roll some men folk even. I think blueberry boys are in my future!)

I think Mass Effect sketches in a similar fashion may be next as I work through my insanity Soldier run.

As last time a bunch of info dumping on my Legacy.

Theron & Charlie just before Nathema. She’s very in love and therefore about to be real pissed. Just so furious because it’s easier than being heartbroken. In my canon run it’s Winter, Charlie, Codex & Lana that ultimately track him down.

Codex and Emer (pronounced ey-mer) passing some time on Odessen. Codex hasn’t found Vector yet at that point, and they enjoy fooling around with Emer. Not just for the physical connection but because it brings them a greater understanding of the inner workings of the Sith and Dark Council.

Codex is the product of their Cipher training, they’re calm, collected and nearly impossible to read. They typically report directly to Lana and actually become very close with Esskelle who shares many of their personality traits. They both also have a bit of a masochistic streak.

Emer didn’t romance Quinn. I’m considering Risha, Elara or even Senya. Emer is fairly typical Sith she’s passionate and full of rage she readily brings to battle. She’s also petty and egotistical. However she’s fiercely loyal to those in her good graces. She loves Vette like a sister and it is to Vette’s credit that Emer is not a complete monster.

Esskelle taking a hit in training. Showing off her tattoo that is a massive pita. I still need to work out a full design for her arm. I also need to work out how she lost it. I want to say as an injury while being trapped in carbonite, or during an encounter with Vaylin. She’s still clunky with it but is quickly learning how to use the weight to her advantage.

Aric doing some training. Mostly cause I love cat man and his VA, but also cause I need to practice drawing masc folks.

Izzy (Isra’fael) doing some exercising. She’s a smuggler who has a decent reputation and joined the Alliance to make money (which she has). She’s hyper competitive with Charlie and it frustrates her to no end that Charlie is better than her in most things despite being (in her mind) dumber and less prepared. In pushing herself constantly she’s become a valuable asset that Hylo is particularly fond of. She also gets on very well with Vette as they share similar backgrounds and a love for a good caper.

Aric and Leyliana’s reunion makes me feel stuff. Him thinking she’s been dead for five years and then she appears out of the blue and he’s skeptical and nervous but she smells and looks and speaks just like he remembers. I’m gonna have to write about it for real here soon.

Oro'a romanced Andronikos and took him back when he returned at the end KOTET.

Zaedesh romanced Quinn, but I'm planning on having her romance Arcann after redeeming him.

Nivirhy romanced Doc but is now romancing Lana.

Sorla didn't have a base romance since I intended her to always romance Theron.

Dedalera romanced Torian and I'm looking forward to their reunion on Darvannis. Mando Power Couple FTW!

Leyka romanced Vector and I'm excited to get him back.

Teeubo romanced Corso, but now I'm having her romance Koth. *gag*

And finally, Zenahi romanced Jorgan and was reunited with him at last!

I was just thinking about Theron, as one does when they wake up in the morning.

I had this image of him finding my smuggler's ship and just sitting inside it thinking about her. I think he just used it himself, in that five years, to feel somehow closer to her. That is ofc until Lana went to save her and she came back.
