Even if the smoke didn’t affect Y/N’s asthma, she would still hate the cancer sticks her boyfriend smokes. It makes his lips taste burnt and the smell is even worse. The smoke fuses with his clothes so it takes forever for her to get the smell out of it. Now, while she isn’t a fan of cigarettes, she isn’t the type of person to force a grown adult to quit. He can make his own decision. However, she also isn’t going to encourage the habit or make herself uncomfortable with it. Drew has some college friends over and they are all hanging out in the backyard. Y/N sits on his lap with her head on his chest and her hands playing with the hair at the base of his neck. She is tired, but she doesn’t want to go to sleep without him so she is forcing herself to stay awake. Drew can see her tiredness and is thankful that she isn’t pestering him about getting his friends to go. 

Luke reaches into his pocket and pulls out a box of darts. He takes one out, passing the box to the person next to him. The box and a lighter are passed to Drew and he takes a cigarette out. Y/N doesn’t notice until she hears the spark of a lighter. She turns in his hold to face forward, watching as the flame hits the white tip. He brings the stick to his lips and breathes in. Smoke releases from his lips and she scrunches her nose. “Really, Drew?” she complains. She buries her nose in his neck. He looks down at her with a shrug, “I’m sorry, Baby, but this is the first one I’ve had today. I promise.” She stands up with a frown and heads to the patio door. Before she heads inside to head to bed, she takes one last look at Drew. He looks upset at himself as he takes a drag from the cigarette. He nods mindlessly at what Luke says. Her boyfriend’s back is pressed against the deck chair and his legs are spread apart. He blows out the smoke, dropping his hand over the armrest to tap the ash off the tip. Y/N hates to admit that the sight has the place between her thighs grow wet and she decides to let him out of the dog house a little. “After you are done with your cancer stick, change and brush your teeth. I’ll be waiting for you in bed.

Hi!!!! I've been reading through this webnovel after seeing @ot3's pitch for it and started writing down some thoughts on the characters and worldbuilding and imminent murdering. This story is very, very long and I only reacted up to about chapter 33, so most of my thoughts will involve the worldbuilding and less the murder mystery aspect -- so if you're looking for theorizing you won't find much of that here. Since I'll be continuing eventually, I wanted to post what I did make note of to revisit later!

Most of these are not marked by chapter/section because I was lazy and I'm not sure how easy it will be to follow as a result, but everything is chronological.

The visual I'm getting of the solar system/local system/dimension they inhabit is kind of a blend of steampunk and fantasy and uhh some secret third thing. With the walls of their "universe" painted in that puella dollhouse witch lair style. Does the sun bounce around like a screensaver. Does it orbit their earth or is it on a fixed axis flung out into “space”? Does “space” even exist anymore? I’m assuming they’re in an enclosed area that they've created. Do they actively use arcane resources to keep objects (ie star and planets) sustaining themselves, or have they made them self sufficient?

What triggered the need for cloning surely medicine is advanced enough that childbirth or test tube babies are feasible? Can bodies be cloned and reinhabited to inhibit aging? Is there some disturbing psychological element to seeing someone with the same face as you? Does it make your brain short circuit? Kam mentioned having children earlier which I assume means people still give birth or have test tube babies, so i don’t know if it’s the result of cloning…but it does sound like a sameface sort of thing. What else would it be if not that though?

Actually, if they’ve figured out teleportation (whatever it was called when they went up the aetherbridge) - let's say they can atomize a body and reforming it elsewhere (though we don't know for sure yet, could also be a fold in spacetime) - transferring consciousness to an empty clone of yourself (and therefore effectively doing away with aging or death wholesale) sounds a lot more efficient and technologically practical than maintaining an organic system that naturally decays. Why keep on finding ways to push the human body past its limits when you could simply transfer a person to a new, identical vessel?

I feel like the key to immortality isn’t maintaining an organic body, which naturally tends towards systems of entropy (being a biological thing, entropy=decay), but rather delineating and separating human consciousness from its host and replicating its original environment perfectly. I’m not talking about making a copy of consciousness, which is just glorified cloning - I’m talking about *transferring* a consciousness.

You could almost call dementia itself the mind's tendency towards its own kind of entropy?

Though if you transfer a consciousness to a younger body, the dementia issue could still potentially remain. Depends on if it the author sees it as a solely physical phenomena (atrophy/buildup of inhibitors of the brain) or there's some metaphysical anomaly about amassing too many memories/"existing" too long in general

The way spellwork is described is really cool and feels super believable. Optimizing multiple concurrent spells into one “function” is intricate and sophisticated, and you have to dedicate a lot of brainpower to doing the math in your head. It’s like they’re coding the real world. I love the way lurina describes this it's awesome.

What you said about punarvasu men is literally my dad💀

He’s a punarvasu moon (I thought he was an ardra moon bc he lacks self discipline with alcohol/spending/food but I think Jupiter suits him more), with revati venus sun and mercury conjunction all within one degree.

As for his ascendant, it can only be from purvaphalguni to anuradha. My main theories are actually those two naks themselves or just leo/scorpio rashi in general because I think he might have pp mars 1H or Jyestha ketu 1H. Also I think he might be UP asc.

He also is very similar in many ways to my brother, who is dhanishta moon, hasta sun, magha asc (my brother is an actual menace but based off his placements I doubt I need to elaborate much further as to why). Anyway lmk what you think👀

But yeah here are some things about my punarvasu dad:

-He does have himbo vibes sometimes and is quite confident in his femininity. For example, growing up he would wear pink sometimes and do sweet things for me, like give me food at school that he’d bought if he just happened to be in the area

-However do not be fooled guys, he is huge misogynist😬 he regularly makes degrading comments towards women who act a certain way (calling them “bimbos”/”barbie”), and whenever someone is driving badly on the road he automatically assumes they’re a woman.

-Literally so rude and disrespectful to everyone except his mother (passed for unknown reasons years ago) and this 90 yr old woman he knows😭 I imagine he’s not rude to his customers at work but that man always has something bad to say! He talks shit about people constantly.

-Has anyone else noticed that punarvasu moons have weird relationships with their mothers? They’re either obsessed or they hate them

- He’s a huge megalomaniac and needs to be in control of us at all times. He needs to have everything a certain way and gets very angry at you if you deviate from it. He often spoils my brother (who is still a child) with the intention of getting him to like him more than my mother. This includes buying him expensive gifts, and when my mother scolds my brother over his bad behaviour, he goes crying to my dad who proceeds to coddle him and act like she’s the bad guy.

My dad has encouraged my brother when he’s been physically abusive or degrading to my mother several times😬

He once told my brother at the airport “I don’t care if you don’t listen to your mother or any of your teachers at school, but you must listen to me. I’m the boss. Ok?” It sounded way more controlling irl but I’m just paraphrasing.

- He’s very into tarot, thelemism and astral projection and gets very preachy about it lol

- He is very disrespectful towards my mothers family (my mother is from an Eastern European 2nd world country) and degrades them for being stupid/unmarried/etc. He has this longstanding beef with my maternal grandma (UBP moon, mula sun, certified girlboss) for being eratic and controlling esp towards my mother growing up (he literally acts the exact same way)

- He is very erratic and gets angry very easily. He’s broken a several things in our house just from his temper tantrums

- Talking about erratic, he is so mean when he’s pissed off you. My brother got in trouble at school when he was ~10 yo once and my dad had a rant at him about how he’s going nowhere in life, he’s going to be a bum, he’s clumsy, etc. He once told me I was tearing the family apart bc I annoyed my brother at the dinner table💀 but we can’t criticise him for this bc it’s “his business”. It’s all just a huge power trip.

-After getting angry at you, he’ll do the whole I’m sorry🥺 act. GIRL GET OUT😂

-Very irresponsible, acts impulsively and expects everyone else to just work around his schedule

- He either has weaponised incompetence or has this one household chore that only he does bc he’s “better” at it than anyone else

going insane about Hamlet: Act 2 edition. let’s get straight into it

- firstly, Polonius makes me feel many things. Mostly rage. Frustration. Vague annoyance. The need to stab something through a curtain. I don’t know what he’s trying to accomplish by paying someone to slander his son (a lie, I know his reasoning and I think it’s dumb) but he’s just a strange old man and I don’t like him. Polonius enjoyers (if you exist) please make your case because I don’t know if there is anything I’m supposed to be seeing in this guy. only redeeming quality was having generally okay kids and being killed off in Act 3

- the scene where Hamlet startles Ophelia in her chambers is so endlessly funny to me. you have to really visualise the scene to get it, the imagery is silly. imagine you’re having a normal day and your bf walks in with his pants down except this is like pre 1600s Catholic Europe so you freak out and then he just acts really weird and walks out weirder. poor Ophelia your boyfriend’s only going to get worse and more unrecognisable from here but we’re staying silly until then

- I’ve never been able to read any of the scenes with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern quite the same after the banger play that is Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. I thank Tom Stoppard for taking what was originally two characters I didn’t know where my feelings lay towards and making them the silliest little guys under the sun. I sort of change my feelings on how ‘canon’ I consider the interpretation each time I read the book, but I like having the option

- Hamlet’s letter to Ophelia also makes me feel many things. ‘Doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love (I never loved you)’. I’m on the bandwagon that Hamlet did truly love Ophelia at least prior to the events of the play (and then I switch up depending on the readings again), but I find again that it adds to the tragic element to spend time considering the lives they led before the King’s death. I’ll probably delve mostly into the relationship of these two in my Act 3 ramblings (starring such wonderful quotes as ‘Get thee to a nunnery’ and ‘That’s a fair thought, to lie between maid’s legs’) but goodness. ‘Thine evermore most dear Lady, whilst this machine is to him, Hamlet.’

- Hamlet’s habit of using wordplay to mock and annoy the people he doesn’t respect will always be funny to me, but it’s increased prominence whenever in the presence of Polonius is excessively so. This man is taking every single opportunity to twist this old man’s words into some odd pun or another and it’s so very silly. ‘Excellent, you are a fishmonger.’ ‘Have you a daughter? Let her not walk i’ th’ sun’ also blatantly making comments about your girlfriend in front of her conservative dad is insane but. I guess that’s the angle

- ‘What do you read my Lord?’ ‘Words, words, words’ oh he hates this man

- ‘You cannot sir take from my anything that I will more willingly part withal (except my life)’ has lived in my head rent free since reading. icon

- I’ve annotated my irl copy of Hamlet with pink markers every time he makes a misogynistic comment, and within roughly 30 seconds of meeting his childhood friends, he’s found an excuse to pull another one out of the bag. I suppose it is interesting how his misogyny does seem to be a very direct result of his glaring mother issues however, specifically his mother’s sexual promiscuity (of a kind) distressing him so much that it’s tainted his entire view of women as a whole.

- and then he drops two of the hardest lines back-to-back, ‘There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so’, and ‘O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a King of infinite space; were it not that I have bad dreams’. like okay slayy

- immediately calling R&G out on their bs. It’s not paranoia if they’re out to get you, or something

- ‘My Lord, I have news to tell you-‘ ‘mY lOrD, I hAvE nEwS tO tElL yOu. when Roscius was an actor in Rome-‘ oh he HATES this man

- we as a society don’t talk enough about Hamlet being a theatre kid methinks

- ooh I love the ‘rogue and peasant slave am I’ soliloquy. at this point, it’s been four months since the King was murdered, and two months since his ghost has asked Hamlet to take revenge. and still nothing has happened. Hamlet’s pretended to go mad, but hasn’t been able to make up his mind on what to actually do just yet, and he’s starting to hate himself for it. I also love getting to see the thought process behind his actions, and honestly things are still making sense from his perspective at this point. Yes it’s been a while, but he also has no definitive proof that the murder actually happened. For all he knows, the ghost was a devilish apparition trying to trick him into committing an unforgivable sin. And we’re still at the point where we can justify this, even if we might consider it a little indecisive of him a whole two months after. It’s just a silly little spiel that leads well into the next act, and I just like to read it out loud

i feel really silly asking this, but how do you view dd’s relationship with his fans? what do you think about it?

i’m new to the fandom so i’m kinda confused, and really don’t know if this has been addressed already.

i feel like every time i see him interacting with fans he looks really annoyed? maybe fed up?

i know lately there has been a lot of instances where he got his privacy invaded by “fans”, and that strains the relationship. but i don’t really know how it was before.

i really really like and support him in everything he does, and i know my thoughts might be misplaced. but i wanted to know your thoughts, if you’re willing to share.

Sorry that I'm so late in answering some of these asks. I've been very busy IRL and haven't had much time lately for Tumblr. I'm trying to get to the ones that are still somewhat relevant.

I got a few asks along the same lines of this one, after DD's recent Chunzhen live (more on that event here).

Disclaimer: This response is for all the anons who asked me this question, not just the Anon above. In fact, the above ask is the least judgmental/critical version of this ask I could find, which is why I'm answering it and not some of the others.

This question comes up a LOT whenever new fans see DD in interviews or at fan events, and especially at live endorsement event fan meets, which I believe he mostly hates (because they're boring and contrived and call upon him to be fake, and he's not fake).

Here is the Chunzhen event with Eng Subs.

People seemed to have an especially big reaction to his response (at 50:15) when he was asked if there's anything he wanted to do with his fans and he said, "Nothing." Which is just a very honest answer, quite typical of the DD we know and love.

And let's face it, what a STUPID question. What on earth would DD want to do with his fans? They don't treat him like a human being. What does he even have in common with most of them? As a star, what's he supposed to want to go camping with them or something? They'd spend the whole time screaming and fawning over him.

Anyway, this sort of response always gets negatively interpreted, and fans read a lot into it and often he gets painted as harsh, ungrateful and mean.

I think a lot of it comes from the toxic positivity that is rampant in most cultures - the idea that we have to come across as exuberantly pleasant or else we're being negative or bad.

DD is a very honest, straightforward person who tells it like it is. That means that sometimes he comes across as harsh to some people, but that's just the cultural judgments/assumptions talking - it's not an accurate assessment of who DD is or what he's really like.

There are expectations around how people should look and behave, and when those expectations aren't met, their behavior is interpreted as negative.

As an autistic person I get this a LOT in my life, and I absolutely hate it. It's one of the things I most loathe about interacting with neurotypical and mixed groups of random people who I'm not familiar with and don't have a trust bond with.

Because I don't have a lot of facial expressions, because I don't deal in subtext and I am forthright and honest, I very frequently get interpreted in negative ways - as 'harsh', 'cold', 'rude', 'blunt' or 'intimidating' - when in fact I'm just talking normally, and when in reality I'm actually happy or cheerful about what I'm talking about. People misread me entirely and take everything I say as having a negative tone, and project all these negative ideas, motives and subtext onto me about what they think I really mean or what they think I'm thinking about them. (More on all that here).

It even happens here on my blog.

It's a big part of why I identify with Lan Zhan so much. In fact, that's how I first learned about GG and DD - because my sister saw The Untamed and thought Lan Zhan was just like me, and urged me to watch the show.

We can hopefully all agree that Lan Zhan isn't a hateful, mean, harsh person. We can agree that he's actually a kind, loving, noble person with a lot of deep emotions and a compassionate heart. It's just that his way of expressing that is different from most other people's way of expressing it. Wei Ying is one of the few people who can see and accept Lan Zhan for who he is, and in return he gets the gift of seeing how funny Lan Zhan really is, how soft-hearted and kind.

DD is like this. He's sweet, charming, funny, kind. And he's also very unique, not like everyone else. He has his own way of expressing himself, and he has never been one to put on a fake face for fans - at least, not in his solo career where he's been at liberty to be himself.

We shouldn't read anything negative or judgmental into this.

Whenever DD has a live fanmeet for an endorsement brand my inbox fills with asks about his supposedly being 'off' or 'upset' or even 'angry', and I think if he is any of those things, it's not about what fans seem to assume. It's not some personal thing or some beef he has with fans. It's quite simply discomfort about being put into an event he doesn't enjoy and feels bored by.

DD isn't a salesman. He's not that kind of guy. And these events, they really call upon those kinds of skills and behaviors. They call upon the star to be a cheerful, up-beat shill for whatever ware is being hawked, and that's not something DD seems to feel comfortable with.

If it was a cool Lego set or some skateboard parts and accessories or a motorcycle helmet he'd probably light right up and knock it out of the park. He'd probably sell the shit out of those things. But drinkable yogurt or massage equipment or facial masques - not really something he's going to get fired up about.

DD isn't fake and isn't really capable of pretending to be interested in something he's not interested in. That's a feature, not a bug. That's a good thing, not a bad thing. HE'S SINCERE.

Once you've become more familiar with DD as a person you'll start to see that it's just his personality. And his fans - the ones who've been with him for a while and know him well - they see him for who he is and they love him for it. They know that he's not going to blow smoke up their ass or give them a bunch of fake sweetness. They appreciate his honesty and accept him for who he is.

Someone is likely to ask me if maybe he was upset about the way Chunzhen was handling the event/the situation with turtles, or if he was sticking it to solo fans after the fucked up demands they've been making and the way they've been abusing his team, so I'll address that here as well:

I doubt it, but it's possible.

Whether solos accept it or not, DD does care about turtles. At the very least, turtles are an important part of DD's fan base (and are not involved with the demands and other BS), and I doubt he would appreciate seeing them mistreated by one of his brands.

Turtles aside, I doubt he enjoys dealing with controversies, or with fan demands or with the way they've been slandering his team online. It's possible either one of those issues - or even both - impacted his demeanour in the event.

But like I said, I really doubt it. He was behaving how he usually does at these things - bored and eager to get it all over with. I didn't see anything unusual to suggest he was particularly upset or angry. He was just doing his job, earning his pay. Nothing more.

I get that – feeling unwanted can really make you feel awful and mess you up. It can be good to keep in mind that the only way to know what they’re thinking is to ask (which yeah, that’s terrifying haha). Sure, you can’t know if they’re thinking anything good about you, but you also can’t know if they’re thinking anything bad! Unfortunately there is always the risk that someone we adore doesn’t quite feel the same (I mean this platonically if that’s not obvious lol), but there could also be a million reasons why they’re making faces!

They could be working themselves really hard outside of when they see you, and are exhausted, but don’t want to bother you, so they try and smile and act like nothings wrong, until they think you can’t see them, because they don’t want to worry you, or bring down the mood.

It could be that they’ve got work or school or a sport they don’t want to do or they’re going to visit that one family member who always pushes their buttons whenever they see them after they’re done hanging out with you, and they’re thinking about that, and when they’re not talking to someone who makes them smile, it really distracts them and they make a face

Maybe that’s just their face, when they’re not really making any expression it looks like they’re frowning, or annoyed, so they always try to smile whenever someone’s looking. There’s a thousand different maybes

And here on tumblr – everyone has their own writing style, you can’t see expressions, etc etc. If you’re worried you’re bothering someone, send them an anon asking if they mind being @ ed or answering asks. I’m positive that the people you talk to care a great deal about you, and absolutely don’t mind you interacting with them :], we’re all just kinda hanging around

People can be exhausting, and terrifying, and confusing, but don’t give up on them, or yourself. Relationships of any kind take work and effort, even with the people you click with. You didn’t say you were going to and you didn’t ask for advice, so sorry if this a a bit unsolicited, but from personal experience, don’t try and pull away from them (unless you don’t like them or the relationship is toxic). If they’re still hanging out with you then they probably do still like and care about you, plus, there might be comfort in loneliness, but it also hurts more than you ever expect. It really is terrifying, but communication can go a long way, even if it’s just asking them if they’re in the mood to talk, or listen to you talk, or if they’d prefer to just hang out in silence

And most importantly – we are human. We are here to annoy and bug our friends and family. Everyone hates to hear it, but we are here to be, at least somewhat of a burden. That is what friendship is; to hold and to be held up by others. Everyone wants to be there for the people we love but never let them do the same – but that’s not how a good, healthy relationship works. It is a mutual give and take, it works both ways.

Being a burden or annoying at times does not make us any less loved. It is not a bad thing. We, as humans, are meant to be held up by those who love us. We are meant to have a shoulder to cry on. We are not perfect, and we are loved regardless

Even if it doesn’t feel like it you are wanted. And as you grow and live, people will leave, and people will stay, and you will find new people to want you

And one day, you will laugh, and you will stare up at the stars and see that they are never alone, no matter how far apart they are, just like you. And you will smile, and you will call someone you love, and you will be wanted.

Ok, I honestly don’t know where I got the idea to write Blue the way I did. In the manga he’s a very angry and tough guy but he has a soft spot (he cries when they say goodbye :() so imagined it all goes a lot deeper than just anger. Originally I was gonna have Leon comfort Blue in the end but I decided it would’ve been better if the colors comforted him so that I have all of them in one fic you know? Now, I’m not a neat person, I don’t keep my room clean and while I do occasionally organize things, I’m not neat like Blue is. However I think I am very shy and reclusive and I really projected that onto him. I mean he doesn’t have that many connections in the manga. Green is the most like Link and is the leader and so I imagine that he and Zelda get along the best, Vio was close with Shadow, and while he’s rude too I don’t think he’d be shy. And Red is just a little Angel who I feel like would keep in touch with Erune and the kids! But Blue didn’t have that many connections to me. Except with the colors of course

Now the part where he looks for Green and Zelda and hears their laughter and decides not to join them is def something I’ve felt. The self consciousness and believing that people really don’t enjoy being around you is rough, they probably feel obligated to be around you and are just being polite. And it’s hard when you don’t know if they’re being genuine or polite. So you start to spiral into overthinking it all. Blue feels sad hearing Green and Zelda having fun and he doesn’t want to ruin anything, so he decides to stay alone. You know in movies or irl when you hear laughter and it just makes you feel hollow? Yeah that’s what I was trying to convey there.

The most frustrating part of being very shy and introverted is that you do eventually feel lonely. Whether you like it or not, humans are social creatures and we NEED connections. Even tho I can be alone for a while, I need to at least talk to someone. Blue has spent a lot of time alone and he begins to feel left out and hated and all that stuff. He can handle being alone, but not for a long time. And the most annoying thing is that there’s a simple solution to loneliness, go out, socialize, make friends, all that. But it’s really not that easy. I’ve been told so many times that I need to go out and be with people more, and I KNOW that, I know that I get lonely and I know that I need to at least hang out with some people sometimes, but It’s HARD. It’s so hard and people who don’t struggle socially DO NOT understand how hard it is. I feel like I get super anxious whenever I’m in small groups of people where I have to hold up some conversation, big groups is fine but going to a grocery store or trying to find a job or calling someone on the phone is scary and I hate it, and no one seems to understand it. I tried to convey this with Blue, and even the blame that I put on myself on him. He keeps saying that it’s his fault that he’s lonely and that he’s friendless. He won’t go out and talk to people, he won’t make the effort to reach out, therefore HE shouldn’t have the right to even complain about it because HE can solve the issue so easily. And he doesn’t feel like he can talk to people about it because they’ll say “you need to go out and socialize” or something like that so he doesn’t say anything cuz it’s his fault. I just kinda wish that some people understood that not everyone’s strong enough to reach out on their own. And that just talking to people can be terrifying.

And the part where Blue is watching everyone have fun, and the feeling of being left out. It HURTS. It’s hurts so bad, and it’s worse cuz you know that the problem will be solved if you just move to join them and to have fun but you’re so upset that you don’t know how to do anything else except to curl up alone in your room. You don’t know if you’ll even be in the write mood to have fun, you don’t know if you’ll ruin their fun with your presence, you don’t know if they even want you there. I’ve def felt that too many times and it’s so so hard. Now the part where the colors come in and comfort him hasn’t actually happened to me eheh…. But it was needed for him. The colors love Blue and they do want to be with him, Blue was just overthinking and they didn’t know that he was feeling that way because he didn’t say anything. Also the nickname blueberry I felt was very cute lol. And it’s def something Red would call him.

Idk I’m not a touchy person but sometimes a hug goes a long way, sometimes you may need a hug. And yeah, that’s all I have to say about that dhksbsksbsk hope it was a fun read and I’m glad you like it!

Sometimes I get really sad and lonely and then I scroll through tumblr.

I think I have to start making a routine to walk outside, but i keep making excuses not too. The only outside place I want to be is on my porch and a park that’s 30 minutes away.

I’m really lonely apparently. It’s a side effect of having very little of a social life (aside from the few interactions on here. Since I don’t interact with anyone on any other site tbh.)

I think it’s just easy for me to be alone. Like I’m sure I developed some kind of abandonment issues and I’m fully aware of how it makes me feel- and that might be why i keep avoiding irl interactions.

Everything feels easier here. No anxiety no pressure. I know people here are okay and already know my goofy little self. I don’t have to worry about appearances and present how I desire. I don’t feel trapped.

I can scream into the void here. I can keep screaming and maybe one day, someone might just scream back. It’s a good feeling.

I keep feeling guilty for posting or rebloging so much. I look at other people getting asks or interactions as “successes”. I see comments and tags and it’s “success”. At what? Hell if I know. Perhaps some social game like popularity, or the fact that somebody is liked enough to have people talk to them.

Ugh, I used to read my old blog posts from an account long abandoned. Reeked of insecurity. I see myself falling back into that spiral over and over again whenever the darkness creeps up a little to closely. Like I can only eve ignore it for so long, until I’m back to screaming again like I am now.

It’s like that stupid feeling, like someone in the back of my mind is screaming “please be with me.” It’s crying all the time.

I don’t know what freindship is, I only see people in black and whites of “useful” and “not useful” the definition of useful isnt exact and varies person to person, but I recognize this is my thought process.

I guess there’s the guilt of it all too. Some underlying shame or guilt constantly pestering me. I hate annoying things and it’s really annoying.

I’m young, and I’m still figuring things out. Though that doesn’t really invalidate or solve how I feel now. Idk.

At some point in time I forgot how to talk to people in real life. It’s like when I do my soul leaves my body and I just go on autopilot. Only to return to a state of constant evaluation and analysis (which are my saviors).

Sometimes I just want to stay broken. Or maybe I was never broken to begin with. I don’t know. I’m sad and buttnaked writing this at 11:54 because I’m slowly developing a fear of sleeping (technically I just have s very strong desire to stay awake for no reason in particular.)

I fucked up with the alt descriptions for my art. I’m unsure if I’m making excuses not to make alts because it’s too much effort-or it’s something else.all I know is that I feel guilty about it.

I hate guilt (or is what I feel shame? I’m uncertain). I wish I never felt it. It’s a disgusting feeling that only does me bad. Usually I can just determine via logic when ive fucked up. But if what I feel is guilt then I do not like it. I wish it wasn’t there I wish it didn’t exist because it annoys me.

I cleared out my wounds too. I’m hopping I made it better by opening up a covered path that was clogging the infection gunk from getting out- and some dead skin. Getting hurt sucks.I thought I would be stronger. But I am reminded I am frail.

Screaming into the void in hopes of a freind. It’s a strange habit to have. Always screaming never a reply. I wish I could make things like this one person I follow. I’ve never seen them ever sad about their lack of interactions (atleast in this platform). I’m trying to be like that. But it sucks that I can’t register likes Orin the same way I do as reason people’s tags or comments or seeing their reblogs.

Since I’m always reblogging other peoples stuff, there’s always that nagging feeling when ever I make my own shit that it’s never enough.

i’ve been trying to add in little details like that!! as well as behaviors from different animals that the pokémon are based on just to give it a more realistic and immersive feel as well as to give the pokémon more personality?? like i hope it came through but barou’s houndour is much gruffer/more protective/warier than reader’s houndour (not unlike their respective trainers) as well there isn’t really any canon backing for psychic types hating dark types but imo it was a fun inclusion HAHA that’s also why the espurr and grumpig were constantly side-eyeing reader!! she always had houndour with her and they didn’t like the energy even before houndour was released LMAO it’s fun coming up with random stuff (such as the on-account stuff in the pokémart) and expanding on lore to make the world feel richer

DHJKFLSKDJ that’s literally reader’s entire team if you think about it 😭 none of them live up to their reputations except aegislash and kind of hydreigon?? although hydreigon is also rlly sweet w reader it’s just kinda emotional and throws tantrums a lot (gyarados learns ice beam specifically so that it can use it on hydreigon when it’s being annoying HAHA) so it’s not fiercely evil or malevolent or anything just a bit of a sensitive which given that reader rescued it from the pokémon abuse ring as a baby deino is understandable 🥹 aegislash is the only one that’s like genuinely just problematic but because it respects reader (and her houndoom + hydreigon) it behaves itself…other than that though like houndoom and gyarados especially are just big puppies with hearts of gold despite how villainous they may appear

I honestly feel that after season 4 Luke will be done with Bridgerton and after the completely unhinged reaction over his girlfriend and her not being Nicola, I don’t blame him.

Also, what do you think of his girlfriend? I know we don’t like him, and a lot of the fandom have bad vibes with her, I can’t help but somewhat agree with them for some reason; her mum apparently liked a lot of fat shaming tweets (not seen proof of them) but seems like he’s been travelling a lot since promo, and I hope he’s actually seen his family, and she’s not purposely keeping him away from them.

While Mc doesn’t give a shit that the bros and Datables aren’t comfy around them, they can still let them know that their behavior to them as a guest is very rude and unacceptable regardless or whatever MC is since they haven’t done warranting their reaction to them aside from exist. “Like sure, fear me but at least hide it while I haven’t done anything inherently scary” kinda vibe.

MC would overhear them talking about them while they were avoiding them and they just barge in and say something like “Yeah, Yeah. I get it you all fear/hate me because you don’t know what I am or who I am and refuse to even respect the bare minimum of my boundaries of keeping my personal information and past classified, which is why I say little to nothing about it. (Because they know how some of the guys are trying to figure out what MC is) But riddle me this, I was randomly dropped here against my consent, I have to most likely deal with this shit for a year, and haven’t you all (to the Brothers) threatened my well being and even (to Belphegor) attempted to killed me? If anything, I should be the one uneasy and pissed here. Yes, I can defend myself from you all with no problem but here’s the thing: I haven’t done anything to receive the poorly hidden hostility I get whenever I’m around or mentioned. And they just leave with their teleportation ability (random but MC is a Jack of all trades, teleportation is easy for em). While I do enjoy seeing everyone feel at unease with Inhuman!MC it’s not like they really did any harm or caused any problems. After the recent incident at RAD grounds no one could stop talking about MC. You had become in matter of seconds the new topic of discussion on all devil media. It was only a matter of time until Diavolo prepared a council meeting to talk this problem.

Everyone sat at their respective chairs, wondering what the prince would say next. You werent invited to this discussion as it mainly involved figuring out what to do with you. Diavolo took a good second as to think on what to say, this was pretty much his fault after all, had he done better research onto you the other student wouldnt have gotten so servearly injured and pretty much nothing that has happened with you until now wouldnt had happened. Still the damage had been done and diavolo could only do so much now.

"Diavolo.." lucifer cough out as he noticed how the royal was awfully quite. The last couple of nights had been a pain for the brothers since none if them really knew what to do with you. The recent attention they had been recieving werent pleasing and instead quite annoying. One could only imagine about your emotions then. The prince looks over at his right hand man who stares back with a awkuard look and then stands up.

"Well friends of mine.." started diavolo finally, "as we all know there has been a recent incident with our human exchange student recently, i suppose you all have already seen the videos that have been spread around" the other could tell how the prince pronounced human in away that makes it clear that there is in some way a lie. Everyone here, from demon to angel to human, knew what you really were.

"Now while most videos have been taken down by my order, the issue is still with us all. Fortunately the student responsible for harrasing MC didnt suffer deadly injuries as most suspected, however too be honest... im not sure how to tackle the situation with them" diavolo continued. "Well that does make sense, i mean, when have we ever dealt with such a... thing like this before?" States Mammon as to not leave the prince speaking alone. While the greed avatar enjoying being your guardian during the program, this whole event of recently just proved that any sort of bad vibes he recieved from you were correct, he couldnt just stay quite.

"Mammon has a point, whatever it is the MC is has only been considered a myth or an urban legend, there are no rules so far that could be applied against their species" satan follows up. As a demon who reads alot you can tell he'd know the devildom rules. He can also tell where this reunion will go.

"You two are very correct" diavolo says as he looks over at them. He the look back at everyone and states that he doesnt know how to deal with you. He cant really send you back to the human realm and replace you with an actual human since it would just be too messed up. He doesnt feel comfortable asking Barbatos to go back in time or similar to avlid having you be in said program in the first place, as it would be very tiring for the poor butler. And just like the two brothers stated, there are no laws against you specifically that could really affect you. Yeah sure he could incarcelate you for attacking the other student and leaving them in terrible conditions, but what punishment could be placed to a being that can fight back a demon?

While the brothers processed what to do with you and the accident you headed to the council room. You havent seen the brothers in the last couple or hours and with the recent exposure of yours you didnt really feel like dealing with the other students questions and comments.

You stood at the room's door ready to open it when you listen to them talking. They didnt dven bother to refer to you by your name anymore... your were now just the thing.

You could only stand there and listen to them go on as to how to prosecute you, IF they even could. You chuckled melancolically, you even scared the prince himself... well isnt that just funny? The worst part about all of this recent slander is that it isnt the first time youve dealt with it, in fact you've dealt with worse, much much worse.

You opened the shutting them all inmediately. Luke couldnt helo but grab Simeon's hand. The twins stood slightly more closer to one another and even Barbatos and Lucifer seemed shaken by your presence.

"Wow... i wasnt told a meeting was happening at this hour" you say as you take a good glance at them all. "M-MC... we were just-" "discussing my punishment? For defending my friends and myself by the harrasment of another student? Its fine Diavolo no need to come up with some shitty excuse you can feel free to tell me the truth." You interupt him with quite the tone. "MC there is no need to use such language ok? Besides you have things all wrong-" lucifer is also interupted by you inmediately, "No lucifer i dont have things wrong i know what i heard!"

Every person that has discovered your true nature has reacted afraid, showing hatred and calling you a monster or worse. You'd think a demon would understand this type of treatment but it seems to be that they really are no different.

"You all have attempted multiple times to break my boundaries by asking and investigating again and again my past, specially when i make it clear that i dont wanna talk about it, you guys keep talking shit about me on my back even though i've done no harm to you guys and you brothers have even attempted to kill me" as you tell them that part you look over to belphegor and assure him that the only reason you didnt stop him at the time is because it would've done no good to anyone then.

"You seven have stated many times how i shouldnt overmind my business, but none of you all have followed your own words when its about me!" You point acussingly at the eldest which makes him quite surprised. Lucifer takes a step forward, lowering eyebrows and speaks to you in a now more serious tone. "MC im sorry for that invasion of space, however your lack of information of your portafolio at the time of picking you told us little to nothing about you. We only wished to make sure you were as comfortable as posible".

"Oh yeah, of course, how dare i forget about that part" you say looking upwards to the ceiling and bringing a hand up to your head. "Why then domt we talk about that then?" You ask while facing the eldest. "You and Diavolo really sat down when picking random humans for this program and dont even consult us for our consent to it until after we are stuck here for a year, and you royals treat me too like im really some lower demon except im somehow lower! When given a guardian he quickly starts complaining and doesnt really seem to do his job right for as you can see i was left alone in hell with a bunch of demons who most definetely want me dead. Im lucky enough to be able to defend myself on my own but would an actual human have been left alone in a habitat the prince himself and his right hand man warned could be dangerous. But oh no! I did ended up defending myself and left the person who provocked me into doing such a thing in terrible conditions!"

While attacking someone is never a good thing, you really did so in self defense and those who were there and who saw the original footage can confirm this.

You follow your statement by turning away from Diavolo and Barbatos and saying still in a sarcastic tone "Guess we'll have to prosecute the human we promised protection to and who we ended up leaving alone and who we didnt treat human alone".

This leaves the royals surprised, even worse is that they cant really deny your words. You really should have recieved better treatment.

"And dont even get me started with the other exchange students!" You say while looking towards the angels and Solomon. "Not even the angels..." you stop for a second as you feel a sharp pain in your chest, most likely sadness, and take a deep breath. "Not even the angels, creatures from heaven and are rumoured to be the sweetest things to ever exist, not even you two could treat me like another individual and even show openly your fear towards me."

"And what about you Solomon? What happened with "if you ever feel tired just come over and talk to me" or whatever you said huh? What happened there?" Solomon just stays quite.

"You're literally inmortal, you have questioned so many timed your own humanity, by all we know you are older than me. Just because i can change my form im the weird one? Im the scary one?"

You finally address everyone again before deciding to leave the council room. "I was brought here without consent and have been treated in a very ugly manner, the only reason im not dead yet is because of what im actually am, if the entire plan was to try and reconect the three realms then dont be surprised if actual humans wouldnt enjoy the "exchange program" cause i, an non-human, sure as hell have not!"

Wiith that you leave. Everyone is now silent. Lucifer looks over at his boss wondering what to do now but he is only met with a heartbroken face. "Young master..." Barbatos says as he also notices the upset face of the prince.

"Me and my brothers will look for MC and solve this once and for all Diavolo, im sorry-" Lucifer is stopped by Diavolo who walks over to where you were standing just moments ago. "No, they have a point. They deserved better treatment, even if they werent actually human that shouldnt change our intentions with them, and yet we did and now they are hurt because of it." The faces the younger brothers show seems to confirm that they agree with the prince.

"As the future heir of the throne i should've done a better job with my plans and MC really shouldve been treated better like Simeon, Solomon and Luke, but i also failed on working on that inclusivity for eveyone... i failed..." Diavolo's tone sounded shaky when he recognized he ruined his own dream, by negligence he messed it up and ruined everything. He doesnt cry however, no, that would be a waste of time, he needed to find you, they all needed to find you.

"I cant leave things like this, We have to find MC and apologize, and try to solve this terrible treatment whatever way we can" Diavolo orders as he composes himself quickly. He looks at the others in the room, at his friends with the intention that they feel the same way as well as they show the same energy to lool for you and make peace with you.

Instead he only recieves one question "where would we even start?"
