What the fuck #The different ways they talk to the therapist #Being sarcastic when asked why they’re miserable #Asking if they’re crazier than other patients #Just. Feeling like you’ve been doing so much for everyone and being the best person you can but the kindness never comes back around #Feeling like you’ve been giving everything you have and getting nothing in return #And can we talk about neotheater’s musical identity? I took a 6yo boy to his placement and as soon as I got him situated in the back he saw my SpongeBob driver’s license air freshener hanging on my rearview mirror. He asked if that’s really SpongeBob’s driver’s license and I said yeah it’s real. Then he asked where I got it if SpongeBob’s underwater so I told him I wore a helmet like Sandy and stole it from SpongeBob when he slept, and without missing a beat he goes “That’s identity fraud”

#kids are probably the funnest people on the planet #I love working with them #we spent the rest of the ride singing the SpongeBob theme song #and he did an almost perfect impersonation of the French guy #whenever I’d say we’re almost there he’d go ‘2 years later’#he was a whole hoot and a half

I will admit, it's a little embarrassing since you can easily see the patterns of what I've been listening to for the past year or two. I swear I listen to more than just videogame OSTs, these songs just jive well with the story and I often find lyrics distracting when brainstorming scenes. Regardless, the music I listen to is such an important part of my creative process and some of these songs really defined the scenes I now have locked in my head. So I figured it was only fair to give them the credit they're due.

I will continue to add to this playlist, and will note in comic updates when one of these songs is applicable!
