Reveal Yourself 🧡☮ The early issues of Penthouse Magazine from the sixties and seventies really captured the spirit of that era when people were exploring their sexuality, breaking social norms, and living life to the fullest. The magazine’s bold content became a symbol of freedom, pushing back against traditional views and celebrating a more open lifestyle. It makes you think: will we ever see another movement like that, one that pushes limits and embraces freedom?

Album Number Four Hundred Sixty Four. “Free” is the eponymous second studio album by this English rock band, recorded and released in 1969. The band had spent time touring their debut album Tons of Sobs (1969) the previous year, and there is a marked difference in the musicianship of the band as well as #paulrodgers 's voice. Both albums were released by #islandrecords , with #freealbum being produced by #chrisblackwell , the head of Island, taking over from #guystevens , who produced the first album. My copy is a reissue on #aandmrecords - SP 4204 (the U.S. release) The album is notable for having innovative artwork from #ronraffaelli of The Visual Thing Inc. It is featured in the book 100 Best Album Covers. Raffaelli made the cover by photographing his model with strobe lights to make a silhouette of her against a background, on which he could then overlay the design. Hence, the album has a design of a woman made of stars leaping across the sky. The band's name is printed in extremely small letters at the top of the cover. #thesixties #rockandroll #andyfraser #paulkossoff #simonkirke #freeband https://www.instagram.com/p/Cnr1GdtuM9w/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

No matter How hard the past is you can always begin again.
Given a second chance at life, with no possibility of returning to your old life, would you take it? No matter how strange, improbable, and challenging the circumstances of this new life? Would you do the same if you were Alice? Find out. A Kafkaesque allegory to make you rethink who you are and why making the best of a situation could turn out to be much more than you expected. Take a trip back to the 1960s and experience living a life that will set you thinking... “Easy to read, my novels are like icebergs. Don’t be fooled by what you see on the surface. It’s what you find beneath the surface that counts.” John Knight

EVERAFTER
"...This is a day I never went on the train, a scene never had by the marina and swan-shaped paddle-boats..." There's a new poem up at Nebulous- "Everafter" by Patrick Wright! Check it out now at nebulousmag.com. Let us know what you think!
by Patrick Wright This is a postcard I never bought. Instead, it sitson a stall by a vending machine: pink candy-floss.I picture swimmers by a lido—sometime in theSixties—with caps and suits, prizewinning. Thisis a day I never went on the train, a scene neverhad by the marina and swan-shaped paddle-boats.      On the reverse side, I imagine a love-note      with rain-smudged curlicues. Not for…
