I’ll admit I have never watched Eurovision but I do enjoy the gifs lmao
Haha. How do one explain the music bloodbath that is Eurovision?
In brief terms, the majority of Europe, some African (Israel) countries and Euroasia countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and formerly Turkey and recently Australia because why the hell not the European Broadcasting Union said and adopted them as European - they all selected an artist to represent their country in a singing contest.
Think American Idol, but much bigger, more elaborate than the Grammys and the Super Bowl halftime show and much more camp and gayer.
youtube
It’s the one week in which we take over social media and Americans are often like “Eurovision? What is Eurovision?”
Expect me to be spamming folks with gifs and perhaps videos. @fictionxlover has fallen pray as I sent her Australia’s entry because of the staging and then I sent her Iceland - which is the gifs you saw with Hatari.
She keeps saying that Killing Eve is kinky and I’m like “Not as kinky as Hatari…”

do you watch friends? there was a scene where phoebe complains that she's 30 but still hasn't had the perfect kiss. joey runs out of the coffee shop, kisses her & then says "now you can say you've had your perfect kiss." it was quite sweet. can you write a mini klaroline prompt based off that?
Thanks for the prompt nonnie and I’m sorry this took so long to do, I actually had it half written then managed to delete it and have had trouble getting the motivation again. And yes I adore Friends and this scene : )
I also want to tag @thenerdyunhealthybrit who gave me a Friends drabble prompt AGES ago and I never got around to it. Hope this will suffice, luv : )
I’ll Be There For You
“Well, that’s three months of my life I’ll never get back,” Caroline sighed, flopping onto the café’s couch next to Bonnie defeatedly.
“And another one bites the dust,” Enzo murmured, not even bothering to look up from his newspaper as Kol began to hum the melody of the aforementioned Queen song.
“It’s a little too early for your poor excuse of a comedy duo sketch, isn’t it?” She scowled in their direction. “Urgh. What’s wrong with me?”
“Well…” Kol began.
“You’re not being helpful,” Bonnie chided, giving her boyfriend a knowing look.
“She makes it too easy,” he argued, poking out his tongue.
“I meant,” she replied tersely, choosing to ignore his usually childish behaviour. “Why do I always pick the wrong guys?”
“I thought James was perfect relationship material,” Elijah offered, mimicking her premature and totally unfounded predictions and calmly taking a sip of his tea. “If I recall correctly he’s a lawyer, Harvard Rhode Scholar, has an impressive stock portfolio and likes the opera.”
“You really should have known from that opera nonsense,” Klaus interjected.
Caroline turned to give the middle Mikaelson a weary glance. When they’d first met the Mikaelson siblings after Kol and Bonnie began to date all those years ago, his crimson lips and dimples had disarmed her briefly but then she found out just what an arrogant smartass and womaniser he was and the spell was well and truly broken.
“It’s times like these I wish you’d not listen to anything I say just like your brothers,” Caroline said to Elijah, while choosing to ignore Klaus. She figured that unusual perceptiveness he possessed was due to Katherine’s influence over the eldest brother since they’d recently begun dating.
“Well, he must have done something wrong,” Katherine observed, snatching the last salted caramel macaron before Enzo could get his greedy hands on it.
“Oh yeah, he did.”
“Oh, let me guess,” Rebekah offered. “He couldn’t dance like that Max fellow with the two left feet?
“Yeah, you had bruises for weeks from memory,” Klaus shared.
“No, it has to be Sam and his questionable fashion choices,” Enzo observed. “But between you and me, I don’t mind a good turtleneck. It can get a little nippy in New York City in the winter, after all.”
“Turtlenecks haven’t been in fashion for a long time and anyone who’d pay so little for a suit needs to have his head examined,” Klaus interjected again.
“No, it had to of been the laugh,” Kol chuckled. “Do we all remember Nathan and that weird noise he emitted that sounded like a dinosaur dying?”
“How in the world do you know what a dying dinosaur sounds like?” Katherine baulked.
“I concur with Kol’s comments, just this once.” Klaus mumbled. For someone who showed zero interest in her love life certainly had a lot of unexpected opinions.
“You have to admit, it was pretty bad,” Bonnie whispered, not quietly enough though to avoid a dirty look from her best friend.
“Is my love life really that entertaining to everyone?”
“Well…”
“Kol, zip it,” Rebekah warned, slapping him across the head for extra effect and some sisterly revenge. “It can be very difficult to find a good man, believe me.”
“Well, when the woman in question is your bossy, big sister then it’s not that surprising,” Kol shrugged.
“Enzo? Are you going to defend me here?” She baulked, looking to her boyfriend who was still immersed in his newspaper.
“You let him get to you every time, darling. You know just saying,” he murmured, his hand finding hers comfortingly.
“Don’t take any notice,” Katherine said. “He’s hopped up on caffeine. As soon as he’s coming down from his high we can all pester him incessantly and pepper him with retaliatory insults.”
Caroline wasn’t unfamiliar with their usual banter and while she mostly found it entertaining, today she wasn’t in the mood. When would she find the guy who was going to change her perception on things, challenge her daily and give her the perfect kiss she’d craved? Call her a pathetic romantic but she’d been waiting for that kiss for almost thirty years and right now wasn’t sure it would ever happen.
Her birthday was coming up in a month and it had taken all her strength to stay with James to that point. Yes, he was perfect on the outside and she was pretty sure would kill any job interview or parental interrogation but she wanted more. She wanted her perfect kiss and couldn’t wait any longer. She was running against the clock, after all.
“Care?” Bonnie interrupted waving her hand in front of her face. “We lost you there, which isn’t entirely unexpected in this crowd. What was wrong with him?”
“It doesn’t really matter. I suppose he just wasn’t right for me,” she mumbled, feeling the hot water welling in her eyes and dreading having to explain her sudden reaction. “I actually need to get to work.” Before anyone could object she left, pulling her coat across her chest to ward off the winter chill.
“Caroline,” he shouted, she’d know that familiar accent anywhere given its ability to cause a few niggling sensations down below. Why did her name have to sound so good rolling off his tongue? “Wait up.”
“What do you want Klaus?” She growled, turning around on her heel quickly and somehow finding herself rubbing against his chest teasingly, those necklaces in full view peaking out teasingly beneath his familiar henley.
“What was wrong with him?”
“Huh?”
“You didn’t say, no doubt due to my brother’s lack of tact as usual.”
“Oh come on, it’s growing on me,” she shot back sarcastically.
“That’s when I know you’re delirious,” Klaus joked. Caroline was trying to ignore just how handsome he looked in that charcoal, fitted jacket and dark jeans.
“And you must be too wanting to know about my latest relationship, I mean you’ve barely batted an eyelid.”
“Not sure where you’ve been all this time, love,” he smiled. Moving closer and fastening a stray lock of hair behind her ear, surprisingly her slightly. “Now, what did that ass do exactly and should I kick his ass?”
She was momentarily winded, struggling to breath because he felt so warm against her body and his spicy aftershave so enticing as it filled her nostrils.
“All I wanted was the perfect kiss before I turned thirty, let’s just say he couldn’t oblige.” She noticed a slight tugging at the corners of his mouth, afraid she’d summonsed the arrogant monster from within.
“I can’t promise perfect but I’d be willing to try and help you out?” She was frozen now, wondering exactly what this would mean for their friendship but his close proximity only made her want him more. She figured you were only thirty once and as his mouth covered hers she realised just how good it felt.
His lips massaged hers, slowly at first, almost like Klaus was relishing in the initial contact as Caroline melted into his embrace. She felt his tongue slip into into her warm and waiting mouth. She groaned against his lips unable to stifle the unfamiliar feelings he’d caused from just one kiss.
The sound of a car horn broke them from their reverie and moving apart, albeit reluctantly. They continued to stare, their blue eyes unwavering their breathing slightly ragged.
“I suppose I should, uh, get going,” Caroline said, finally managing to find her voice.
“I suppose you should then, love,” Klaus smiled, those dimples making a sudden appearance. She managed to tear away her gaze and make her way down the sidewalk even if her legs felt like jelly and her heart was racing that much faster.
Fast forward three years and her friends relished in telling that particular story at their wedding reception but both the bride and groom liked to argue who really was the one to make the first move and if in fact it was the perfect kiss.
Caroline liked to play her cards close to her chest to avoid inflating that already impressive ego but Klaus figured he had the winning hand given she’d agreed to marry him at all.

Prepare for the antis to come out at full force, showing their true colours by picking on DG and the cast, while us as well. Just like they did with Carina (who they don't seem to comprehend that a) She's never said that she ships Klaroline or said that they are healthy and b) Is a writer first. The antis are like spoilt children throwing their toys out of the pram.
Which is rather rich considering they said all that, and more, to us back in the day. As if we didn’t have a reason to be ticked off. No one likes being bait and switched.

thenerdyunhealthybrit replied to your post “Can I just say that I've been loving your Klaroline drabbles, they...”
Hehe, thanks for the suggestion. I've been recommended ACOTAR multiple times, so I'll definitely check it out. I've also been suggested the Shatter Me Series, but they don't have a UK publisher! I'm planning to get into writing fanfiction after I've finished my year at Uni, if I started now while I have work, I just guilt myself thinking I should of done work.
Oh, I’ve read Shatter Me as well. Personally, I thought the last book was a bit disappointing but that might be because I had too big expectations and it just felt like they saved the conclusion to the last 50 pages, making a big part of the book feel like filler. I did really enjoy the first two though (and the third in shipping).
Wait they don’t publish it in the UK? That’s weird! I live in the Netherlands and I can buy it here xD You could try bookdepository. They have a great collection of books for lower prices and ship worldwide for free.

garglyswoof replied to your post: “Vatanım Sensin is a period drama, set in the early 20th Century...”
“I’m weirdly attracted to him in a dirty cockroach-y way” is the best part tbh ahaha. You put a ton of work into this, looks great despite tumblr being a dick.
Haha, it’s true though. Like the villains in Turkish dramas tend to be quite one-sided. Like if you think of it as a telenovela they would fill the villain trope. They tend to not be as multi-layered as the villains in UK or US dramas (Shout out to Klaus Mikaelson, pre-TO!). But with Tevfik, at first I thought he and Azize are cute, the looks he served. Even when I fully was shipping Azize and Cevdet, the main couple. Then Tevfik turns out to be a shady bastard and I just hate him. And he does some VERY IRREDEEMABLE things...in later episodes you find out he’s pining for Azize and plotting to marry her while sleeping with this singer Eftelya and poor Eftelya. She’s in love with him and he’s just an abusive piece of shit towards her and is a dick to her dad and he gets her dad to do the dirty work by threatening Eftelya.
But there is something in Onur Saylak’s performance that makes him engaging to watch, and slightly attractive to watch in a smarmy way. And he is a cockroach because of how much he does shady, evil shit and how much he gets away with it. It takes forever for the revelation that he shot Cevdet and stole 7 years of his life to come out.
And thanks for the compliment lol. I thought screencaps would be the best way to describe it. The hardest bit was trying to work out how much to spoil because the episodes are super long, a lot of stuff happens. Especially with Vatanım Sensin which takes you on an emotional rollercoaster in the first episode and the second one.
Also depending on Turkish dramas, they don’t always reveal the plot through teasers and trailers that it’s not until you watch it that you know what the plot is. Luckily with Vatanım Sensin, the trailer pretty much tells you what the plot is about, while still keeping particular details hidden from the audiences for shock.
On a sidenote: One thing I learnt from the show, that I found interesting is that before Turkey got independence, they didn’t have surnames. So to differentiate people will be like [Name] married to [Name], son of [Name] etc. It wasn’t until like the 30s(?) when a law came in and they had to have a surname. I think a lot of people used the man’s name for the family name.

gorqeousally replied to your post: “those last cin scenes were so funny and that music...”
They aren’t getting shitty writing they actually getting something that the other couples are the show should get development & a slow burn relationship. Actually it is anything Rob promised he promised Cin fans a relationship that would have their up & downs but in the end it would be good . The fact that y’all are pressed the show is playing up their sexual tense is kinda stupid . Jordan baby will be Rafe & Elani is involves because Lani gets attached & starts overstepping.
Well considering the fact that you felt the need to respond to a post that was clearly an ‘Unpopular opinion’ - I mean, I literally bolded it to stress that - I’d say that you are the pressed one and not me. Since you can’t seem to handle anyone criticising Cin and the content they get.
It wasn’t even an Anti-Cin post. I just want more from them, I like my smut with the ships, the scenes that make me fangirl but I also like content with it. There are a lot of scenes - not just Cin where nothing is actually accomplished, that they could replace that actually progresses and develops the narrative as well as the characters and the relationships.
And my issue is with it was also because the Cin scenes were clearly being used as fan bait - there are a lot of storylines in that episode that many don’t really care about and they advertised and used Cin to get people to watch when if the scenes were removed it wouldn’t make much difference on the progression of things.
And ultimately, this is a SOAP! Drama is how things get going. If you want to watch a romance series then this isn’t the show for you, it’s an ongoing soap drama! If you want your favourites to be happy, they will eventually be pushed off screen because ultimately that is the only way for characters to be truly happy - by having no storylines.
So just to stress it out I love Cin, they have supercouple potential but they aren’t getting that material yet. And the thing is, my favourite supercouples from US Soaps are the ones with the external conflict as well, Sam and Jason - at their peak they had external conflict from Carly, Alexis, Elizabeth etc. EJ and Sami had pretty much the whole Brady’s against them and even in the end of their saga, they still had people against them, but they also cared about Sami and the kids happiness.
And for a bit of context, my main soaps are British soaps and Aussie soaps where the structure is different and they are more about storylines, telling realistic stories with a genuine effort to raise issues. And when they do their smut, there is a reason for it, it’s part of the storyline, part of the development.
And because I don’t live in the US, I don’t have access to all those US soap mags that you like to read, so the first I heard about Jordan’s kid was Friday, the first I heard about Lani getting attached was today - and why is she even with the baby?

cbk1000 replied to your post: “I wonder how many people on here assume my name is Brit or Britney?”
I always assumed it was a reference to your nationality, because it's 'the' nerdy unhealthy brit, and it sounds a little weird if that's your name and you're referring to yourself in the third person.
Fair point, I just use this handle on other things as well like discord - I’m trying to limit different usernames to sort of create an identity - especially with social media and then with fandom stuff separately. But because I use TheNerdyUnhealthyBrit on discord, I get people calling me Brit or Britney. So I was curious if anyone had pegged on that Brit stood for British and not a name. I don’t mind it as like a pseudonym, especially when it comes to doing creative stuff like fan art or fanfic etc. Like I completely understand the anonymity on that part - since you read all about how work can find stuff about you online.
But it just feels a bit awkward when mutual that I speak to on Tumblr, or people that I speak to generally on Tumblr, I know their names - and they don’t know my real name. Especially since I realised recently, that a lot of the people I actually speak to a lot on Tumblr now, I’ve spoken to them for at least a year now.

garglyswoof replied to your post: “So my Film course is full of tools…So students on...”
Yeah, it’s never ok to have a poll on something like that unless it’s a joke between friends, and then I’d still question it. Why do something that’s almost guaranteed to make someone feel bad? And why do it in gc? It sounds like every 90s teen movie where someone finds their name in a burn book lol
My thoughts exactly, but if it was all guys on the poll and they were all friends then it wouldn’t be as bad as long that the people involved didn’t mind and I’d assume that it’s part of the lad culture, the toxic masculinity kind of thing.
But it’s now kicking off in the chat, because this girl saw, got offended and left the chat, meanwhile a guy and two girls are calling the guy that made the poll out - although he’s conveniently now nowhere to be seen. They are rightfully cooling out how trash this poll is, how they act like they are the dog’s bollocks and think they are all that in lectures and seminars where they disrupt the lectures and seminars.
Then of course, his friends are acting like it was all a joke and acting like the victim when the others are calling them cunts. They just keep acting like they are being victimised while acting like the poll is a joke, completely missing the point that they added two girls on that poll who aren’t even friends with them in that ‘Ugly’ poll and the fact that some people actually voted in this poll for them. Then some of his friends in the poll are acting like they are owed an apology because people voted them - even though just before they were acting like this was a joke and no one had any right to be upset.
It’s just a mess in the chat, and that same group of guys seem to like to act like it’s their own personal chat. And some of the people calling them out on their shit said that it’s not the first time that the guy caused drama in the chat then hid when shit started kicking off.
Honestly, I can’t remember when. all I remember was when there was drama kicking between a guy and a girl (or two girls) - the same ones calling these guys out on being dicks - because one was angry their friend got raped and the rapist is apparently on our course so he named him and the girl was upset because the victim didn’t want all this, to come forward - and the same guys, from the poll group decided to make a joke of it, make light of it. While others at the time, tried to end it because it was a private matter in the chat and we can’t do anything because we don’t know who it is, the details.
Honestly, these guys are like 20-21 year olds and they were acting like those kids in that Netflix show, 13 Reasons Why.

garglyswoof replied to your post: “I think I might start doing a little review series...”
i loved bron/broen season 1! i havent heard of the other ones but always interested to hear about tv from other countries
Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Bron/Broen (The Bridge), I’m currently watching the second season because in the UK, BBC iPlayer have the first 3 seasons on there, presumably for people to catch up before the fourth season comes out in the UK. The second season isn’t lighting me up much. I’m not as hooked and invested in the plot, whereas in the first season I was and even though it lagged in the middle, I enjoyed the ending even though in hindsight it went really off from the first episode, I think it was definitely overcomplicated but still enough to keep you interested. But so far, based off the second season (I’m halfway through) it does feel like a huge case of a show written like a limited series but it becomes so popular they bring it back and it kind of loses its original plot a bit.
As for the other shows, Deutschland ‘83 I’d highly recommend. It’s a German spy thriller about a young adult (I said young, I think he’s 18 or 20?) who lives in East Germany and is recruited (by his aunt) to infiltrate West Germany as a solider. I watched it when it aired and went through a foreign TV phase afterwards (and maybe a Jonas Nay phase). I’ve seen the first episode of Borgen which is a Danish political drama years ago, but haven’t been able to watch the rest because when I started it, the show just finished and all the episodes where off BBC iPlayer, but it stars Pilou Asbæk before he became Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones.
And here is a tip about Turkish dramas: They are long. And I mean long. An episode can last between 90 minutes up to 2 hours and 30 minutes and the seasons are often 28-32 episodes long, sometimes longer depending on the popularity of the show. Binbir Gece (One Thousand and One Nights) is basically a Turkish Telenovela, which I didn’t realise until I was hooked and had to watch the rest of the first season on Netflix. It’s loosely based on the 1001 Arabian Nights book, and I say loosely. There are references to the book, but it has its’ own storyline. Once you embrace the soapiness of it, it‘s fun to watch and I love the ethnic Turkish music in it. Muhteşem Yüzyıl (Magnificent Century) is an interesting one, because when I read the synopsis and the trailer, I just thought it was like the Turkish version of The Tudors but with Turkish History, The Ottoman Empire. But as I watched it, it’s not like that because the show is Turkish, Eastern European/Middle East shows do their shows slightly differently in how they portray romance. Where Westerners can have steamy love scenes, passionate moments, Turkish shows can’t get away with that, they have to display passion through angst and tension at times, through dialogue etc. But with Muhteşem Yüzyıl, what is interesting is that based off the promotional material, you’d think that Halit Ergenç is the star, it’s his show, but the women is where all the drama is at and they steal the show. But at the same time, they make it so hard to like a lot of the women. From the first episode you see things through Alexandra/ Hürrem’s eyes but early on you start to hate her and other characters. The show highly embellishes the truth and history for the sake of drama and entertainment. But for me, it’s quite interesting learning from the history side, the customs and traditions of The Ottoman Empire. Like the Sultan has a Harem which is filled with women and is almost like a brothel. It’s interesting how it’s almost like a completely different world to England at that time. But from the drama aspect, the character aspect, based on what I’ve seen so far, the characters do really test you.
Netflix tends to have a lot of Turkish shows in their catalogue, but they are only the first season often. Also Netflix split the episodes up, so 1 episode can be split into 2 x 45-60 minute episodes.
Lol, I went off on one.

garglyswoof replied to your post: “Remember that Twitter spat I had yesterday, the one where…”
Theres nothing hypocritical about choosing to watch or not watch the show. I don’t really get how anyone could make that argument. If they’re referring to not having watched the show until now, there is nothing hypocritical about that. You can dislike the shows first four seasons and still want to see the current. Even if a s5 watcher ends up liking the rest of the cast….still not hypocritical lol
It’s just stuff, I’ve been seeing online a lot. I admit part of the reason I’m watching S5 is because of Klaroline, but the truth is I would have gone back to the show regardless. I hate leaving things unfinished and at the end of the day, I love Klaus, Kol and Rebekah. Me and my friend even planned to binge watch the show when the Klaroline gag on The Originals was still on and Caroline wasn’t appearing on The Originals (We got through to 4 episodes, my friends Wi-Fi was bad, shockingly bad).
But after hearing all your thoughts about it, it really does put it into perspective because I can see where some of their fans annoyances come from. There are a portion of fans coming back solely for Klaroline and you feel like you aren’t getting your way - but many are hiding it under the excuse of family when it’s really all about ships. I’ve seen Klaroline stans resign themselves to the fact that Klaroline was unlikely happening on the show and they just wanted the show to be about family, treat their POCs with respect, not have misogynistic writing...but they dismissed it as us being haters, yet now that something is happening that they don’t like, suddenly they are preaching the same stuff we have been preaching for years.
Also I’ve seen many ignore that The Originals is a spinoff show, that The Mikaelsons did have a life and story before Mystic Falls and Julie is bringing Mystic Falls in to honour that (as well as to satisfy her TVD boner). They also ignore that before all their ship, The Originals fans were made of fans of the family as well as fans of Klaroline. Klaroline were not only there at Day 1, they were there at it’s conception, when it was just a fan idea on social media and fandoms, when it was announced to be in development. We were there when it started and when we first met The Originals, so we equally have a right as fans of not only Klaroline (because we’ve criticised the hell out of Caroline in TVD) but also as fans of The Original family to judge the show and the direction that a set of writers are taking our faves. Especially when they don’t bother honouring it’s past on The Vampire Diaries and enjoy making their own rules.
Angel was able to perfectly stand on their own two feet and still was able to honour it’s history on Buffy.
Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures were able to stand on their own two feet and was still about to not only honour Doctor Who, but also extend the Universe, exploring Aliens on Earth when the Doctor isn’t around.

cmonkarenscastle replied to your post: “When people say that Drew is Danny’s father and Jason wouldn’t be one because of CarSon...”
Jason is Danny/Jake father and has right be in their life. However Danny and Jake are not babies. They have looked up to Drew has their dad. I think they won’t really push him aside. I won’t be surprised if one of bros are like idc lmao. However, Jason does have a right in his sons lives. He missed so much.
I agree, but people just assume that Drew will be their dad, while Jason will remain a stranger, Jason before 2012, wanted to be a father, he wanted to be a father to Danny, regardless of his job and Sam wanted that. He regretted that he never got to raise Jake. He’s not going to go “Oh, I missed 5 years, guess they aren’t mine, bye!“ Jake and Danny are also intelligent kids, Jake is old enough to know what is going on, while Danny is also smart. They aren’t going to suddenly ditch Drew, but they should be the ones to decide if they want to know Jason. They could end up with two father figures.
However, if the writers have Jason give up his parental rights, they don’t have a grasp of his character. Yes, Jason is selfless, but we already seen him give up his parental rights with Jake to Lucky, and he regretted a lot, every time he saw Jake around Port Charles, and especially when Jake “died“. He’s should want a role in their lives.
But I’m not confident in the writers view of Jason, Steve’s Jason because of how they make it seem like CarSon is all that matters to him, when by the end of Steve’s tenure in 2012, he‘d evolved and had Sam and Danny as his priority.

From what I hear the Stan’s of any ship on twitter seem like the worst. I’m so glad I stick to tumblr where everyone is much nicer and easier to get along with when it comes to gh lol.
I agree, but I’ve just seen some very extra comments form Killy a lot on Twitter, I find the Killy fandom quite obnoxious on Twitter and rude, and I’m going to shoutout to a particular one @NuJasamFan on Twitter, because they need to be reported, they have sent abuse not other to other people but to the actors, even if their characters have nothing to do with Jason or at not on the show anymore, they send abuse about Steve Burton or abuse for someone just mentioning Steve as a friend. Also another Killy stan, talks about unreliable sources and how they are always right, but I remember them from The Vampire Diaries fandom and they said that Klaroline was dead and was never going to happen and that Steroline were endgame and were going to get a happy ending and raise a family with the twins. Cue near the end of 2017, Klaroline are appearing in Season 5 of The Originals after years of the writers ignoring the show’s connection to The Vampire Diaries and insulting the fans that criticise the show. So I struggle to believe them, also they are one of those put that constantly write in capitals which makes it sound like they are shouting and forcing their opinion on me.

I mean if u have no context Friz can be cute sometimes but with context its ugh. I get some don’t apply what old Franco did to Roger cuz he plays it like Todd in an AU but…they could have had Roger play another character but they choose not to. Idk why they expect not apply Franco’s past cuz its Roger playing him…
I just started get into Liric and I Love them? The only prob I feel Liz tries to act like she is morally better than Ric but its like no Liz your no better than him so just accept the dark side! ;D
I agree, I have no issues with no context Friz and if you separate Old Franco with New, then good for you, but the reality is that in the world of Soap Opera, James! Franco and Roger! Franco are the same people. Therefore all the actions that James! Franco did are also all on Roger! Franco, people shouldn’t be willing to forgive him. I still can’t believe that Carly dated him for a while.
I feel like the only reason they brought Franco back was perhaps to keep the ghost of Jason alive without recasting him. I got the feeling they were reluctant to do that, until they had to.
Now interestingly, I never saw Liric together. Not the original Liric back in 2003/2004 nor the recent one. So I can’t judge, I just remember thinking that it was an odd pairing when I first heard about it. All the Ric stuff I remember was the Sonny/Carly and Alexis stuff. While Elizabeth/Lucky/Emily/Nikolas were the other stuff.
I must research on Liric, because you make them sound interesting. I get the impression that perhaps Ric was the only one that didn’t put her on a pedestal or look at her with rose tinted glasses.
Personally I find Liz and men rarely work well. Look at Lucky, Jason etc. I think secretly she tries so hard to provide stability for her boys and project that white picket fence life that she wants, that she eventually loses herself in the man. But at the same time she wants that white picket fence life, she also wants drama and excitement. However that isn’t long term.
