I went to the one near my job like 20 minutes after they opened and when I tell you they had nothingggg 💀😭, LIKE GOD DAMMITTTT. I have the regular special edition from Barnes and Noble which IS gorgeous.

Okay so I read it Monday which for anyone unfamiliar with me and my shenanigans, I always pre-order books on kindle, then use a VPN to change my location to Australia and it auto delivers a day early cause it’s already release day over there. I’ve been doing it since A Court of Wings and Ruin 10/10 zero regrets.

On Monday when I was like halfway through I saw a TikTok of a girl saying ‘skinny love’ by birdie was on RY’s Onyx Storm playlist and about lost my mind. FOR MY TVD PEEPS, that’s the Jenna funeral song from 2x22 a true heartbreaker of a song, also the way TVD will haunt me for my entire life, like that’s truly my Roman Empire. ANYWAYS so I was reading the whole second 50% of the book quaking in my boots.

I AM OKAY THOUGH??? Like I feel good and we’ll leave it at that until we can speak of all the books details lmao.
