The smiler takeover is (unfortunately) officially over! I hope everyone who went there had fun and to the brave ones who got through the Fear test good job! I missed it but I did celebrate it from here and will continue to celebrate since the actual birthday of the ride is May 30. I made this cool little drawing to fit the end of the festival. I hope that in this year's scarefest (which there's a chance I'll go to) has some MOJ themed stuff even though I doubt it.

Festival of Thrills - The Smiler Takeover by Alton Towers Resort

Well, thanks to Valicer Polyship Week, I didn’t have a Song Saturday for the first Saturday of The Smiler Takeover at Alton Towers, so let’s do a double post today to make up for it! And we may as well start with the trailer for the whole kit-and-kaboodle, right? There is a little bit of flashing, along with a few spinning effects and dizzying patterns -- standard for The Smiler, but just take some care if you’re affected by that kind of thing!

Original price: £15.00 Price i paid: As of right now i am unsure but if i manage to remember i will update. However i don't remember it being over £20. Unsure if purchased off Ebay as my purchase history has no record. (it is a mystery!) Area sold: Towers Trading and BUY THE SMILER. Comes attached to a smaller cardboard piece after taking out of box and is attached to the smaller cardboard with a plastic tag you will need to cut. Items box was damaged when it arrived, i have done my best to fix up parts of the box but i am still working to restore and have it more secure. Originally published in 2022 and based on the real life Smiler Takeover event, This is still one of my favorite stories I've ever made. It seemed like the perfect candidate to become my very first physical print. Originally I just wanted a copy for myself, but so many people asked for one I decided to sell them proper! I undertook a massive effort to refine the original pages and fix the story this time around.

Printed on 8.5"x11" comic grade paper, this book contains the complete remastered version of the story with new pages, tweaked story, redone lettering and remastered drawings! You can also get an option to have the comic signed by yours truly. (There may even be a doodle included!)
