Not even 30 minutes into the new episode, but I’m gonna make a prediction based solely on how Will introduced the town.

Did he misspeak? Probably. But tossing XX behind 1950 makes 195XX meaning we’re over 17000 years in the future and not 70 years in the past. Could be one of those post apocalypses where society takes ages to heal and then kind of reverts back to a past era and things are fucked UP outside of Peachyville……

Or it could be that Will meant 195X/didn’t want to get too committed to the date/wanted to make a reference to other things and I’m taking this too seriously and ruining the fun fhdhdjgjfbfh

Arlo love aside- can we talk about the shit we learned this episode? like HELLO??? the entire information segments from the projector had me wanting to drop everything and write it all down to study and understand and think/theorize on

I was gasping so much during this episode as well as like, so invested.

One, Carly and Shane are together? That's fanfiction material as it is, like Francis would be pretty shattered but Carly would be absolutely shook if she knew Francis was the one who hurt Shane.

Two, Francis is just going through a crisis. I think him being terrified of how much he wants to hurt and kill is very compelling for this horror story. But seriously someone give this actual child a hug.

Three, TUCKER TROUT! Everything just kinda clicked into place with that one. That's what he's so busy with! That's why he doesn't want anyone in the basement (that and the trudies), that might be what those photographs the cop teased about were, and that's why he wants Trudy out of the house! There's still some answers that need to be found, but a lot just clicked into place and the fact Tucker is here is wild.

'trudy hates re-boots' was so psychically damaging as a pun that I didn't even think about the dark implications. If she doesn't function correctly she gets rebooted. She's aware of that. Does she remember it happen or does she only wake up with lost time and a certain feeling? Feeling too good, too structured, everything running a bit too smooth while the edges of her consciousness are still ragged and sharp? I understand why she wouldn't like that
