Rät by Penelope Scott has been a Nezu song in my head for years. Glad to finally be able to put down some of the vibe of why.

could've been you: aizawa x reader x hawks
You're the new teacher at UA with a rocky past with one of their beloved teachers, Shouta Aizawa aka Eraserhead. You'd rather never see him again but alas, such is life. You also meet Keigo, aka Hawks, who is the opposite of Aizawa. Smiley, golden retriever energy. Nothing could go wrong... right? relationships: aizawa x fem!reader, hawks x fem!reader warnings: some chapters will be NSFW, they will have a warning on them in bold.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CHAPTER ONE
The air reeks of teenagers and sweat. As you walk through the long hallway, you glance at the photos on the walls. They're filled with photos of Pro Heros - All Might, Endeavor, and Best Jeanist.
You sigh when you see your own portrait. You look younger, probably just a couple of years after you graduated from UA.
Mirage the nameplate read.
"UA is so happy to have you back, Mirage!" Nezu caught up to your space in the hallway.
"Please, use my real name. You've known me since I was a student myself." You shifted the weight of the boxes in your hands.
"Always so humble. Anyways, your room is this way. Thank you for offering to stay on campus, sometimes these students get into trouble."
"Who would say no to free housing? And it'll be harder for me to be late." You watch as Nezu opens the door to your room. It's more like an apartment - you have your kitchen, living room, bedroom, a 2nd bedroom and a bathroom. It looks like it was newly constructed too.
"You'll be teaching the Strategy class starting next week. I want you to observe a few classes before your first official day as a teacher though." He hopped on your counter to get closer to your eye level. "Though I'm afraid what you'll think when I tell you who the instructor is."
You start to unpack a box as you hear Nezu's words. You let out a light laugh as you pull out some of your trinkets.
"As long as it's not Eraserhead, I'll be okay."
Silence.
"I said, as long as it's not Eraserhead." You turn your body to face Nezu. You furrow your eyebrows as you stare at him. "This where you say, 'Of course it's not him! It's Endeavor!'"
"Endeavor doesn't teach. He has no patience for his own children, let alone students he doesn't know."
"Nezu. You're telling me I'll be observing fucking ERASERHEAD teaching?! Who even let him teach in the first place?"
"I did. He is a fine instructor, the children love him."
You roll your eyes. You and Eraserhead have always had a tough time getting along. Always disagreements, always arguing, never compromising.
"Let me remind you of the last time I saw Eraserhead." You used your quirk, mind manipulation, to show Nezu your last memory of Eraserhead.
Mirage. Quirk: Mind Manipulation.
Your quirk allows you to show a person an image you control using mind manipulation. You can put them anywhere in the world, they will think they're there. You can also pull a memory from their mind and place them back to that time. The drawback is you can only do this on one person at a time, however everyone in the vicinity will see the same thing the designated target does.
You, Eraserhead, and Endeavor were patrolling the city when a group of villains decided to cause destruction and havoc on an elementary school.
It was mid day, a weird time for villains to be out.
"Eraserhead, use your quirk on the one in the middle!" Endeavor said as he blasted flames out of his hands. "He's the leader!"
"No, he's not. It's the one that's in the back - he's been saving his power."
"Endeavor is right, he's been calling all the shots. What leader would just lay back and let their team do all the work?"
"A lot." His eyes turned red as he stopped the man he was targeting from using his quirk.
"Eraserhead, why can't you just fucking listen?" You tried to get into the mind of the leader, but he had something that was keeping you at bay. Was it his quirk? "Please, use your quirk on him! I can't get into his head!"
But Eraserhead didn't listen.
He never did.
And it cost you to be in a coma for a few months.
The villain used some sort of dark magic to surpress your quirk, sending your brain into shock.
Everything went black.
You waved your hand to bring Nezu out of the vision you brought to him. "It was because of HIM that I was out cold for months."
"I'm sorry, but this is what's going to happen. We don't have many teachers here as it is, and Aizawa is at your level. You're both very strong."
"I should take that as a compliment, right?" You scoff. "Send me what room he teaches in and I'll be there at 8AM when classes begin."
"I appreciate you're willingness to cooperate." Nezu nods, jumping off the counter and walking to the door. "And I'm sorry that you experienced that."
You only nod as he shuts the door gently. You let out a sigh as he left, letting the anxiety that filled your body go. You learned this through therapy since you experience anxiety through physical symptoms.
"Breathe." You murmured. Time to start unpacking.
___________________________________
Your mattress and other furniture was delivered so you set everything up. Your bed looked like a cloud with muted earthy tones on your comforter and around your room.
You felt your stomach grumble as you flattened out your blanket. Guess it was time to grab some food. You slip on a pair of leggings, a thin strapped tank top and a cropped zip up sweatshirt that hands off one of your shoulders as you zip it. You slide your feet into your chunky tennis shoes and head out the door.
You're still familiar with the campus at UA, even though some of the buildings have been redone. You made your way to the cafeteria where you see a few Pro Heroes talking at a table. They must've just finished a demonstration or something.
"Mirage?" You hear Endeavors voice boom. You couldn't not hear him.
"That's me." You walk over to the table he was at. He looked... happy to see you.
"I never thought I would see you again. We've needed you, villains are at an all time high."
"That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me." You look up at him - he's so much taller than you. Usually people are put off by Endeavor and his personality, but you have a soft spot for him. "I'm teaching here starting next week."
"No way!" You hear another recognizable voice. Present Mic.
"Yamada!" You ran up to him and gave him a squeeze. "I haven't seen you in years!"
"You look great! Your body looks so much different than high school, your curves are unbelievable."
Yamada has always been once to compliment women - he's never scared. You're also not stick thin like a lot of female heroes these days. Your body has muscle, but you're soft at the same time. You have full, plush hips and thighs and an ass to match. You're also blessed in the chest area, but you cover that up the best you can.
"Yamada, can you please go a couple of minutes without objectifying women." Endeavor rolled his eyes.
"Lighten up, Enji. He was just giving a compliment." A new voice chimed in. You saw a man with dirty blonde hair look your way, a pair of dark red wings behind him. "My name is Keigo, Hawks is my hero name." He held out his hand. He's cute.
"You must be one of the newer Pro Heroes all of the women in town are talking about." You shake his hand and look into his honey colored eyes. "You have quite a fanbase."
Keigo chuckled, his teeth shining as he smiled. It was a warm, comforting smile that you needed after reliving the last time you saw Eraserhead.
"Would you like to eat with us? We just finished introducing ourselves to the students since it's the start of the year." Keigo patted the seat next to him.
"Sure, let me grab some food first." You turn to the food stations and grab a chicken sandwich and fries. You feel Keigo glancing at you as you walk through the cafeteria, careful not to stare too hard.
Cute.
You, Enji, Yamada and Keigo talk for what feels like hours. Catching up, sharing stories and getting to know one another. Enji told you about how his youngest son, Shoto is enrolled at UA. He said he shows a lot of promise, and that he's trying to rebuild a relationship with him.
Yamanda went on and on about his online dating life, and how he's having trouble finding his 'one true love'.
Keigo is full of smiles and laughs, which was so refreshing.
"Can I walk you back to your room?" Keigo jogged to catch up with you as you walked toward the dorms.
"What, you think a villain is gonna pop on me on my walk back?" You giggle. "Sure you can." You start walking in sync together.
"So, what's your quirk exactly?" He tilts his head down as he walks.
"Mind manipulation. I can make someone see anything I want them too. I also can manipulate objects too, but I don't use that as much."
"So are you making me see one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen or is this my reality?"
How is he so smooth?
"I'm not using my quirk right now, scouts honor." You put two fingers up and giggled. "That's me." You point to your door as you approach it.
Then you spot a tall, dark haired man standing near your door, leaning on the wall.
Fucking Eraserhead.

Yall really like your Dadzawa fics lmao. I opted to not take the header image seriously, you’re welcome

I was walking home from school, had an earbud in listening to some city pop. I live in an apartment with my father near my school, U.A. high school, my dad’s a teacher there.
I was down a less busy street, had some shops here and there but it was a bit more sketchy than the more crowded streets.
I felt a tingle up my spine, you know that feeling when you’re being watched, or followed.
I look down and to the side, try to see in my peripherals just in case I am being followed and sure enough, someone was there. I kept walking, maybe a coincidence. I knew I was being followed for sure after taking 3 right turns and he was still there.
I ducked into a store and pulled out my phone. I dialed my emergency contact, it only took one ring until it answered.
“Is everything okay?”
“No I think I’m being followed. I’m at Midwest on 1 Chrome-6-1. Next to Whitely.” I gave him my location.
“Okay, is there people in the store?”
“Yes, it’s a bit crowded.”
“Stay close to the counter. I’ll be there soon.”
Dad hung up the phone and I presume left where he was.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
AIZAWA
“My daughter needs some help somewhere in town. I’m just letting you know I’ll be gone.”
“Take all the time you need. Hopefully everything is okay.” Nezu says. With that, I’m off.
I run down to Midwest and it’s empty. Merchandise is everywhere, you can hardly see the store floor. Glass is shattered everywhere, shelving is uneven and some even thrown off the walls, displays knocked over. This place is a wreak.
I rush to a back room, behind the counter, look under bigger shelving and displays, there is nobody, everybody who was originally reported here is gone, including my daughter.
“Hey man, you gotta get out of here. Some big dude just wreaked the place.” Some guy, I’d imagine the owner, said from the front door, he came from somewhere on the street.
“Did you see a girl? Teenage, black long hair, school uniform come through here?” I questioned. I have to find my daughter.
“Oh yeah. She stumbled in here all panicked and what not. She was on her phone, then looking behind her, then on her phone again. She was a mess. She stood up at the counter with me, the dude came in here and wreaked the place trying to get her. She put up one hell of a fight though. He got her and got away. I called the cops rights after.” His voice was shaky, all of him was very shaken up.
“Which way did they go?” I asked, he pointed to the manhole on the ground.
“Shit. Thank you for your help. Get somewhere safe until police arrive.” I phoned a personal contact on my end.
“Tsukauchi, I need some help over at Midwest on 1 Chrome-6-1. There was a villain attack here and a kidnapping. The owner said the villain took off with the victim in the manhole closest to the street. I’m going down but I’m going to need assistance.”
“Do not go down there alone. I’m coming along with some of the force. Stay put.”
“There’s no time, I’m going down.” I hung up, sent him my location, removed the cover and dropped in. Typically I would not have been this reckless but considering this is my daughter here, I’d say it’s justified. I’m not saying I wouldn’t do this for anybody else, this particular matter is just… personal.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
Luckily, I know the underground system well enough to figure out where he went due to past chases. The underground system gets used a lot, it’s convenient and very open. It’d be a risk to shut them completely so we installed safety features to ensure our success in stopping and capturing villains. I move to my phone and open the security software all pros have enabled. It allows us to look through certain security footage around our home bases. The store front isn’t one of the locations I can see, but the underground system sure is. I scan the footage for any sign of him or my daughter. I manage to track them, she’s unconscious and slung over his shoulder and he’s bolting for the outskirts of the city. I continue on this trail until I come up near an old warehouse. A little cliché honestly.
I climbed out of the manhole and scoped out the area. Some voices inside trading details and information about deals, money, a big boss, and “the girl.”
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
I look in through a worn part of the warehouse and see her, still unconscious, on the floor. The men are huddled around her. I don’t see any intention of hostility so I remain put, listening to what they’re saying. If they’ve done this to my daughter, what if they’d done it to others? Or plan to? This could bust them all together.
After a couple minutes of listening I’ve gathered that these men are from the Hassaikai. A know Yakuza group around here. We’ve had issues with them in the past that led to much, much bigger things. This one needs to stop here. They’re looking for powerful quirks. My daughter has a quirk like mine which I would argue, is powerful. One that can temporarily disable a quirk. And if it’s combined with the enhancers they used previously, she may even be able to completely get rid of a quirk. Knows to really say and I’m not attempting to find out.
I hear rattling behind me, it’s Tsukauchi and some members of the force following on the surface level. I give the gesture to slow down and keep quiet.
“I told you not to run off, what’s going on?”
“They took my daughter. They’re with the Hassaikai, still on the hunt for powerful quirks. I don’t know how many times they’ve done this or if they plan to continue.” I relay to the detective.
“What? We put a stop to them. The leader is still in a coma in the hospital.”
“That’s what I thought. I’m guessing someone stepped up to carry on the organization.”
“They took your daughter?”
I pointed to her on the floor. Tsukauchi stepped away to converse with the other guys and report this issue to higher ups before making his way back over to me.
“Okay. This is your kid in there, what’s the plan?”
Tsukauchi and I devise a strategy.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
Then we start kicking ass.
Mostly me to be fair. I have the badass quirk and combat experience, not that the others do, but this is also my job.
I take out the two guards they had positioned at the front. The first one went down easy but the second put up a fight. After seeing what happened to his buddy, and on a sneaky attack, he sure as hell wasn’t going to put up with it.
Tsukauchi and a couple men go around the back to secure my daughter. The men that were with my daughter attempted to stop them but my scarf got to them first.
The rest of the force charge with me. We had contained the main villains that we’re discussing plans over my daughter and we bring them in for questioning.
I left that to the police, I’m more concerned about somebody else who’s remained unconscious, I have no idea what they did to her, for precaution, I brought her to the hospital.
She was hit with some kind of sleep quirk. They put her on an IV to maintain hydration. I refused to leave her side the entire stay. This happened because I couldn’t make it to her quick enough. Or I let her go home alone. Some things may have to change if I want to keep her safe.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
She woke up after about three hours.
“Dad?”
“Musume?*”
“What’s going on?”
“The villain you called me about got to you. We took care of them, you’re safe and in the hospital. They just have you on an IV, nothing else is wrong I promise.”
“I’m so sorry.” She apologized.
“What are you sorry for? You did everything right. I need to be apologizing to you. You never should have been put in that position.” I tried to reassure her. She’s already been through a lot today as it is, I don’t want her to stress over this.
“I should’ve been smarter, I don’t know. Not have gotten myself caught. I tried using my quirk but nothing happened to him.”
“What do you mean?” Her quirk should have worked just fine. She should’ve been able to stop his quirks effect easily. She knows how to. I’ve had her practice on me and other hero’s at the school since she first developed her power. She’s practically mastered it.
“I don’t know. I did it, I know I activated it, but he remained as he was.”
“What was his quirk, do you remember?”
“I thought it would have been strength or speed, or some kind of enhanced abilities with the way he tore up the shop, and how quick he moved. But he just kept going and going.”
Is he naturally that strong? Or fast? I need to report this to Tsukauchi when I’m done here. That’s something that needs to be looked into because that was only the doings of a quirk. Naturally, that should be impossible.
“Dad?”
“Yes Musume?”
“Can we go home?”
“Of course. Let me check you out of here and we’ll go. You need rest. And you won’t be going to school tomorrow. I want to keep an eye on you just in case anything else happens with that sleep quirk they hit you with.”
“No complaints here.” She doesn’t hate school by any means, but if she gets the chance to ditch, she’ll take it. Given her grades are excellent. Frankly, they could use some work, but she gets a pass today.
After I get her checked out, we stop by a shop before heading home.
“Dango? Really?”
“Yeah. I was thinking you could use a little pick me up. Or an ‘I’m sorry you got kidnapped’ treat.” She laughed, that bright smile of hers.
“Thank you.” She kept smiling. I purchased the treat, we snacked for a moment then headed home.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
“Are you sure you’re okay? You’re very quiet.” I questioned. Usually we talk a lot while we walk home and yes, she’s been through something traumatic but this is still slightly out of character. Just consider it good fatherly love and checking on his daughter.
“Yeah. Just shaken up. Tired. I really want to sleep.”
“Okay. We’ll get you to bed as soon as you get inside.”
“Okay.”
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
We reach the apartment, she gives me a hug goodnight and heads to her room. Her light is off a minute or two after shutting her door. I stay out in the living room an extra hour or so, to make sure she doesn’t need anything and so I can finish grading papers.
I finish my stack and head to bed. Tomorrow’s a different day, and hopefully a safer one at that.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
*Musume (mu-su-mei) - Daughter
I try to keep the main character as nameless as possible. I do this for self-insert reasons and a general lack of knowledge for Japanese culture in which names are a part of. This is why I use Musume a bit, it one of the only words I’ve done the research to use properly and still have it go with the story and even then, I use it when absolutely necessary.
I was thinking of using Rei as her name but I believe that’s Todorokis mother’s name and just decided to her her nameless.
Thank you for the suggestion! :)

(They/Them) Shadow is a Gen-Ed student at UA, coming in as a first year a year after canon's class 1-A. They chickened out from applying to the hero course because they have trauma from being in combat when they were little in a quirk trafficking ring. Their quirk is "Shadow Puppet", and allows them to change their bodily shape to whatever they please, and blend into shadows on the occasion. (Owned by me)
Shadow Kuragari:
Tumblr media
Maxim Kontsevitch:
(He/Him) The head scientist running the organization that experimented on Nezu, Takeda Labs. Reasonably, Nezu is not fond of this guy. When Tomura ran into him, he was performing some experiments of a very Nomu-like quality, and that was the only way Tomura could get along with him. Currently, Nezu has him stashed in the UA basement lab with Garaki, to which the two get along somewhat well. His quirk is unknown, but has something to do with either elemental or emotional manipulation. (Owned by Nezu_Is_Watching on Ao3)
(Image made using artbreeder in 2021. Missing glasses.)
Tumblr media
Evelyn Reynolds:
(She/They) A former member of the Hero Commission Child Recruitment program, and current student in the Hero Course at UA. Her quirk is Teleport, she can use it on any location she's seen before, including in photos. She inexplicably has a knife on her anywhere she goes, no matter what. She got into hot water with the russian mafia at some point, and is dating Jinni Katima. Also has a computer AI keeping tabs on her. (Owned by eris_of_chaos24 on Ao3)
Tumblr media
Ace Hitori:
(She/Her) Another former member of the Hero Commission Child Recruitment Program. Part of the Hero Course as well, but works in support too. A very intense character, to say the least- Brutally sarcastic, formerly dating another character, Uiko Nemuri, but broke up because their relationship was toxic. Quirk: Deck Of Cards, cards that appear on her skin contain different abilities to which she can use. Most frequently pictured using a blue fire akin to Dabi's. She also gets along with Kyuudai Garaki pretty well. (Owned by ThatFlowerGirl on Ao3)
Tumblr media
A.V.A.:
(She? Idk man they're a computer) A program created to keep track of Evelyn, hidden in an underground bunker. Most relevant appearance is when Evelyn was kidnapped and held hostage by AFO to use against Jinni Katima for an emotional upper hand. A.V.A. located Evelyn in AFO's underground lab below Tokyo where both he, Kyuudai Garaki, and the Nomus resided. (Owned by eris_of_chaos24 on Ao3)
(No canon appearance)
Daichi Yamada:
(He/Him) The most normal guy you'd probably meet in MHA. He's a college student at Musutafu University, where he participates in a journalism and gardening club. He has a pet rescue eurasian eagle owl from a cafe he goes to. He's Present Mic's one and only younger cousin, and apparently has several autographs from top heroes because he was a cute kid with Mic's connections. He's kind of a tsundere /j. Can you tell he's my favorite. He also is besties with new and reformed villain Tomura Shigaraki, and apparently did not recognize him as such when they first met. (Owned by Nezu_Is_Watching on Ao3)
Tumblr media
Regis Gladiolus:
(He/Him) A very sarcastic and kind of nihilistic guy, tends to make a lot of accusations. A UA student in the Management Course, and gun enthusiast. His quirk is Zombie, essentially giving him Deadpool syndrome. This means he can be hurt as badly, and lose as many appendages as possible without ever dying, doesn't mean he can't feel the pain, though. This was unfortunately turned against him when in an arc not included in the fanfic version, a bully of his at UA ended up... pickling him, in many severed pieces. He also attempted to get accepted into the League of Villains by one-upping them. His points were neither feasible nor did the League want him at that point, even if Toga was willing to advocate. Currently he's working at an internship with Best Jeanist. (Owned by someone I can't necessarily tag)
Tumblr media
Jinni Katima:
(She/Her) Jinni, in contrast, was someone who successfully infiltrated the league and found a familial connection in Kurogiri, and unfortunately got caught up emotionally and physically in it, when AFO used her girlfriend Evelyn Reynolds and Kurogiri as a bargaining chip. Other than that, she's an orphan who was abandoned by her parents, and left with a confusing quirk, called "Random." In seemingly entirely random sequences, she'd be able to call upon one quirk out of many that she posessed. She'd come to know much later that similar quirks returned when in specific emotional states, and then "Random" was not so random anymore. (Owned by SnowChild4180 on Twitch)
Tumblr media
Kishoka Tanaka:
(He/Him) Chairman/Manager of the Child Recruitment Department of the HPSC, also Hawks' boss. He's generally a morally grey asshole who does anything to get what he wants, which makes his dynamic with All For One very entertaining. In fact, he breaks AFO out of Tartarus for the second time in this universe's timeline, because Hawks is being housed at UA along with Tomura, and Tanaka figures they could both get something out of it. In addition, he's a widow. His wife was killed by a hero, leaving him as a single father of one, and he's never trusted heroes since. He also has a very affectionate cat named Anakin, which AFO is very fond of. (Image edit by me, owned by a friend I'm not necessarily able to link to directly)
Tumblr media
Lumen Vekard and Lumine Vekard:
(He/Him for both) The twins are a couple of silly American transfer student anthros with unrelated quirks haha. Lumine has a very similar quirk to Todoroki, Elemental Manipulation; while Lumen has a Ghost quirk that functions as his only way out of their shared body. Turns out, they used to be two separate people until they came across Overhaul. Various experiments went down, and ended up merging together their bodies in a very odd way. They're in the Hero Course at UA, and Lumine miiight have a slight crush on Todoroki. (Image drawn by me, owned by lumine_vekard on Twitch)
Tumblr media
Hibiki Tsukasa:
(He/They) This guy's a guard at Tartarus (which is much inferior to canon Tartarus), and the only one to really be responsible when AFO escapes. He was the messenger to Nezu the first time it happened, and tried to stop AFO escaping the second time himself. His quirk is Poison Breath, which is why he wears a mask. He's also the older brother to the villain Mustard. (Owned/drawn by by me)
Tumblr media
Alice Delpher:
(She/They) Last, but not least: Alice- She's an orphan born with a voice quirk that hypnotizes others, Siren. She was shamed for it to the point of voluntarily going mute. An ex of hers from middle school was particularly to blame for this. (Said ex was... really bad to say the least. Stalker, yandere, etc.) She's enrolled in the Hero Course at UA, and eventually she became very close friends to then adopted siblings with Tomura. (art by, and owned by Theseus_Innit on Toyhouse)

Help your poll made me want to write Yeehaw Dad and tiny gunslinger Izuku. I cannot get the image of Izuku in a green cowboy hat out of my head.
Oh, so I shouldn’t say: think about Snipe finding young Izuku at age six/seven after a hero fight killed Inko? I shouldn’t say that Snipe looks at this kid and sees himself in the loneliness in the green eyes (Because honing was a Quirk hard to prove and many thought he lied about it, making it difficult).
I shouldn’t talk about Snipe taking him in after Hisashi washed his hands of his son? Snipe helping make a safe room for Izuku where the kid can be himself. Snipe learning of Izuku’s safe fabrics and foods to help his child. I shouldn’t talk about Snipe taking Izuku to a hero gala where Izuku meets Present Mic and has an epiphany that gender isn’t just biology?
I shouldn’t talk about Snipe encouraging his little child to learn about guns as partly a way of protection and partly because that fire in those eyes makes Snipe aware that he’s gonna have a hero or vigilante on his hands one day. I shouldn’t talk about Snipe, a himbo of a man who is very straight and cis, having no clue about gender or sexuality but basically begging Mic, Tiger and so many for help as Izuku experiments? I should talk about Snipe fist fighting assholes who say shit about his kid?
I shouldn’t talk about Izuku living at a gun range ih their off hours and Snipe taking his kid to UA when he lands a job. Nezu liking the little child and teaching all he knows. I shouldn’t talk about the play dates Snipe sets up with other legacy kids?
I shouldn’t talk about Izuku getting into UA through recommendations and being so proud to be there? I shouldn’t talk about them seeing their friends in class, walking past a boy they only has dim memories of, who reacts angrily. I shouldn’t talk about Snipe being very unhappy and pushing for a transfer of the angry child to replace him with another blond boy?
I mean, if you want help… I shouldn’t, right?

Nephophilia pt. 3
Aizawa x POC! Reader
MINORS DNI. AGELESS AND MINOR BLOGS WILL BE BLOCKED
Synopsis: You're a 20 year old sophomore university student from NYU. All your life you've wanted to be a hero , but a law in the US has banned the use of mind control quirks in the hero field and labeled them as too dangerous and "violate the concept of free will". To pursue your dreams as a hero you move to Japan and enroll in an international mentor ship program to get your overseas hero license. On your first day you meet your mentor, Shota Aizawa: he's aloof, rude, and irrational, but what starts of as a clash between two polar opposite personalities turns into a romantic relationship that you didn't expect.
Quirk: Servant Hero name (Maestro) Y/N has a second voice with a hallucinogenic rhythm, when ever you speak to someone while using your quirk they instantly fall under your control for 15 minutes or until you say "stop". The only problem is you can only give them one word commands (Example: retreat, sit, freeze, jump, cry etc.) On ONE occasion you can give a person a multiple word command. If you tell them "obey" they will follow anything you say for the full 15 minutes or until you say "stop". But you avoid saying "obey" whenever you can because it can become too dangerous if the directions are not specific enough.
Warnings: Smut, bullying, strong language, attempts at sexual coercion and other forms of manipulation, racism, descriptions of violence and blood
A/N: Sorry this took so long to put out! I hope this is okay I was having trouble coming up with a storyline for this chapter. Anyways enjoy, Y/N is gonna show the full extent of her quirk in the next chapter !
Tumblr media
Present Mic: "God where could she be?!" he circled each and every corner of the city for hours looking for you with Aizawa. The leather on his steering wheel squeaked from how hard he was clenching it
Aizawa: “Why did I say that? Why the fuck would I say something so stupid?!” He cursed to himself while his mind tortured him with the image of your heartbroken expression, the last thing he could remember before everything went blank. He leaned against the passenger window in guilt. He did it again, he lashed out and embarrassed you for no reason and even worse you had to use your quirk just to get away from him. What kind of hero was he? A pretty shitty one...
Aizawa: "This is all my fault..."
Present Mic: "Yeah no shit sherlock tell me something I don't know…” waiting at the stoplight allowed enough time for long exhale escaped his mouth as he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. Mic was a gentleman through and through, chivalrous to even the most underserving of men and women, so Aizawa knew he was in for far more than a few harsh words from his blonde friend
Present Mic: “What the HELL is wrong with you Shota? Are you stupid or just temporarily insane? Talking to a young girl like that, you know all she wants is to be like you and me she doesn’t need another add on to the countless people saying she can’t do it. You better have a damn good apology up your sleeve or I’ll request a mentor transfer from Nezu MYSELF!”
Aizawa wanted to retaliate, he was stunned at Hizashis willingness to go against him so quickly, but who was he kidding? He deserved it. Contrary to popular belief Aizawa wasn’t like this with everyone, of course he was gloomy and aloof but he was also protective and kind as seen with his students. It wasn’t like him to hold anyone to the standards of someone else as a teacher he knew better than that. But something about you, your excitement from the first time you came to UA, your unwavering desire to be better, even the way you get along with Hizashi almost instantly, it was like he was viewing an old flame through a different lens.
Aizawa: “I know, I know you’re right. God, you’re right…I’ve been nothing but a menace from the beginning. I don’t even know how to explain why, but…it’s like I keep expecting her to be like someone else and the second she isn’t the way I need her to be I just get furious. She’s so much like him sometimes I forget she isn’t actually him.”
Present Mic: “Like who?…Oboro?” He asked, red light now changing green leading them farther down the streets of downtown Osaka
Aizawa nodded in shame. It was selfish
Present Mic: “You…you can’t do that Shota. I understand you miss him, I miss him too but you don’t see me going around trying to make other people into him. If you can’t see Y/N as just Y/N then just let her g— SHIT THERE SHE IS!!” There you were, out of the corner of his eye he spotted your signature H/C hair slumped against the window of a scummy 24 hour diner. Hizashi turned into the parking lot like a mad man and the two men jumped out
You were a babbling mess, laughing and causing a ruckus with two drunk older men they’d never seen before who grabbed at you like they had other intentions than just having drinks. Your original orange and vanilla scent was now blanketed by a thick layer of booze and syrup when the two approached you. Hizashi screamed at the employees for serving an underage girl so much alcohol but all he was met with was "fuck off" and "eat shit".
Present Mic: “Y/N get up we’re leaving right now” he said with a far more abrasive tone than usual. Aizawa threw your purse and sweater over his shoulder as Hizashi attempted to grab your arm and lead you out of the diner
Y/N: “EW GET OFF ME YOU CREEP! *hiccup* I’m having fun with *hiccup* my friends. Why don’t you and your emo boyfriend *hiccup* FUCK OFF!” You shouted followed by more rowdy laughter from you and the other men
Present Mic: “We’re your friends Y/N, these are just perverts trying to get in your pants. Get up, NOW.” Hizashi made another attempt to take you by the hand but it proved once again to be futile. This time he was met with a hard shove making him stumble backwards, knocking into Aizawa who was still too stunned to even look at your intoxicated state.
Y/N: “I SAID GET OFF ME!”, You kicked at his kneecaps making him buckle over and cackled maniacally, “There’s a bathroom over there *hiccup* why don’t you go get another handjob in it from Best Jeanist!”
Hizashis cheeked reddened in embarrassment, of course he wouldn’t hold it against you for letting out one of his most private moments, after all you were an emotional drunk mess. But betrayal was to great of an emotion to keep under control, and it send him into a hate filled rage.
Present Mic: “FINE STAY HERE THEN! ID RATHER GET HANDJOBS IN A BATHROOM THAN BE A GLORIFIED WALKING POCKET PUSSY!” Hizashi didnt mean any of what he was saying, and in a few hours he would come to regret those words but he was too emotional to recognize the weight of what he was saying. He snatched your belongings off of Aizawas shoulder and threw them back to you before leaving the diner in a huff
Y/N: “What are YOU still doing here?! GO! leave like him ‘HERO’! Go play hero for your other students and leave me behind LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO!” you’re soft interior now began to poke through with tears pricking at the inner corners of your eyes. Even you're most intoxicated state couldn't hide the fact that under it all you were just angry and hurting.
Aizawa: “Y/N please I—
“She’s made up her mind mate, now get lost…”
This couldn't be what you really want. You wanted warmth and kindness in your moment of vulnerability. You wanted hands as gentle as yours to reassure you and give you the same generosity you so willingly give out to others. So if Aizawa knew that why was he walking away from you?
“Tch, look she’s so pretty when she cries…” the man slurred, putting a tight grip on your thigh making his rings imprint in your skin. His fingers inching dangerously close to your sex, a place that even in the most drunkest state you knew to protect, but it was hopeless. You squirmed and shifted to avoid their roaming hands but your head was so fuzzy you could barely function.
Y/N: “I…I think I wanna go home *sniffle* I don’t wanna be here anymore.“ You stated in barely a whisper but it was silenced with another drink being forced to your lips.
Y/N: “No i don’t want it! Where’s N-Natsuo!? Natty!!” now screaming you shoved the side of his face away leaving a scratch mark on the corner of his lip, doing nothing but make him more aggressive
“Don’t be a fucking tease you fucking bit—
SLAM
Suddenly the man’s head smashed face first into the table making blood from his nose splatter across the lipstick stained shot glasses. Above you was a sight you’d never seen before, Aizawa peered over his unconscious body. With a fist full of the man’s greasy hair he dragged him out of the booth and then picking you up after, unfortunately your body was too wobbly to stand on its own so you just slid down on the floor behind him.
“I-I WASNT GONNA TOUCH HER I SWEAR MAN, W-WE WERE JUST MESSING AROUND!” The other man pleaded for mercy in front of Aizawas hauntingly blood red eyes but it didn’t stop the bottom of Aizawas shoe from kicking in 2 of his incisors.
It took Aizawa everything inside him to beat both of them to a pulp. Seeing them put their hands on you made him reach a different kind of fury that he didn’t quite understand yet— and deep down didn’t really want to— because understanding it meant accepting a truth he wasn’t ready for yet. How he felt about you. But for now that didn’t matter, he picked you up bridal style and carried you back to Hizashis car who was still too emotional to say anything or even look at you.
The car ride back to Musutafu was long and quiet. Aizawa could feel you’re shaky breathing as you slept on his lap in the back seat, he silenced all 32 missed calls and 21 unread messages from Emi out of fear it would wake you up. He swore he felt his heart flutter as you muttered cute nothings in your sleep, but brushed it off claiming it was just the left over adrenaline. After all he knew better as an engaged man than to think like that of anyone else, right?
Tumblr media
The headache you felt as you awakened was astronomical and the sun beaming in through the window didn’t help one bit. You took a quick look at your phone to read any new messages and alerts, mostly from Natsuo who sent a few pictures of the food places he stopped at in Tokyo. Even in your messy state you knew you were still mad at him for leaving you last minute like he did, so you made it a point to ignore all his attempts to talk to. You took a quick look at the top of the screen
‘Saturday. Thank fucking god’
You thought to yourself, happy that you didn’t have to make any type of effort today to be productive. Nothing sounded better than curling up in your puffy bed sheets and sleeping the day away. But to your surprise when you dragged your arms along the fabric it wasn’t puffy instead it was light and silky. The bed was decorated in a black silk duvet covers with dark grey silk sheets underneath. As you looked around you took note of the bare walls apart from the single college degree framed above the door, the furniture was dark and minimal— it was a man’s room…
Panic was already starting to set in as you wondered what had happened last night. Did you cheat on Natsuo? Had you been roofied? No you couldn’t have been your clothes were still intact??? It made your stomach turn thinking about the possibilities, but thinking was a waste of time if you were in danger it was in your best interest to act as soon as possible.
The sound of footsteps coming up the stairs sent you into fight mode. You’re head hurt too badly to use your quirk effectively so you had no choice but to look for a defense weapon, but there was nothing not even a sharpened pencil on the empty desk in the corner. With them only a few seconds away from the door you bet your safety all on your own strength and shot your best round house kick to the side of their face only for it to be blocked immediately.
Aizawa: “Take it easy…” he muttered. He bent over to pick up the to pick up the items he dropped while blocking your attack: a spare toothbrush, a clean t shirt , a green loofah, and a hair brush— presumably all for you.
Y/N: “Aizawa? Oh my god I-Im so sorry I didn’t realize it was you…”
Aizawa: “No need to apologize, I’d be the same if I woke up in another persons bedroom”, he handed you the toiletries, “the bathroom is down the hall to the left, you’re free to use whatever is in there.”
You nodded, not knowing what else to say you hurried to his bathroom to wash up and rinse the smell of liquor from your skin. You brushed your teeth and wiped the smudged mascara from your eyes before stepping in the large walk in shower. The hot steam from the shower and fresh air from the small bathroom window above you helped you sober up and relieve a bit of the headache. It gave you a brief moment to finally think clearly, suddenly you remembered EVERYTHING. You let out a small gasp at the thought of it all: the argument you and Aizawa had, the foul words you said to Hizashi, the two men, it was all still fuzzy but the pieces were slowly connecting and you sank against the wall in utter humiliation.
After your little self pity session you mustered the strength to leave to bathroom, throwing on the large oversized tee Aizawa had lended you and your pair of jeans from yesterday. You giggled after seeing it was a Gang Orca merch tee shirt, probably belonged to a cousin or nephew of his.
In the kitchen Aizawa was getting together a sad excuse of a breakfast for you; the bacon was burnt and the eggs over salted but he was putting his last efforts into making these blueberries pancakes he saw on Hizashis Pinterest board
Aizawa: “Damn it, was it supposed to be baking powder or baking sod—
Y/N: “morning”, you muttered softly, he turned around and felt the gravity around him stop working as he looked at you in his tee shirt hanging gently off your shoulder. His efforts to fight his feelings by giving you the least attractive shirt he were failing miserably. He turned around after bidding a small ‘morning’ to you, and returned back to his cooking. Breakfast was dead silent as you waited for your taxi.
Y/N: “Aizawa…did…did we fuck last night?”
His muscles tensed and his cheeks turned a pale red at the sudden question
Aizawa: “What?! No why would you ask that? I wouldn’t do that to you.”
Y/N: “Oh yeah, I forgot you hate me you’d never stoop so low to have sex with someone like me right?” You got up pushing the empty plate away from you
Aizawa: “No that’s not what I meant. I’ve never hated you Y/N!” he said maneuvering around the kitchen counter to catch you from walking out the door, “I’m sorry for everything, but if you just let me explain why I acted the way I did—
Y/N: “I’m putting in a request for a different mentor on Monday, I’ll be switching to Midnight or maybe Cementoss, so don’t even worry I won’t be your parasite anymore.” Your words left him with nothing to say, it’s not like he could convince you he thought otherwise when none of his actions showed that he respected or cared for you, “you won’t have to worry about me wasting anymore time and money, bye Aizawa…”
You opened the front door only to be met with a shorter woman with cyan hair and a nasty scowl plastered across her face that grew the more she looked at you
Y/N: “Your boyfriends a cunt.” You spat before finally leaving the complex, the sound of arguing coming from the apartment following immediately after…
Tumblr media
“Y/N!! Y/N!! Y/N!! Y/N!!” Class 1A chanted as you took on another student in the combat training battles before heading to USJ.
It turns out transferring to another mentor is easier said than done especially when dealing with international students, so you had about a week before you could officially switch to Midnight. Making the most of it seemed like the best option. Before the transfer week ended you were able to patched things up with Hizashi in a two hour long crying session between the both of you, however, nothing changed between you and Aizawa. He made multiple attempts to apologize but it was no use, you avoided him everywhere: in class, in the hallways, in the break room and even in one on one training, you never said a word and only nodded when he gave you advice. Occasionally you’d catch him glance at you from his desk but your eyes never latched for more than a second before he returned back to his work. The both of your were strangers.
Y/N: “ There’s no shame in tapping out Bakugo! Our combat styles are wildly different, admit kid it you’re not winning this one!” he laughed as you locked him in with a double under hook
Bakugo: “RRRR SHUT UP YOU REJECT—“ you cut him off finishing with a power twist and slamming him into the mats, his face blushing beet red when you helped him to his feet
Mina: “Y/N THAT WAS SO FUCKIN AWESOME! YOU EVEN TOOK DOWN TODOROKI!”
Todoroki: “Yeah, maybe be a little less aggressive next time…”
Kirishima: “Alright alright move aside I’m fighting next!”
Y/N: “Maybe next time Kiri you guys should go get your hero suits on and get ready for your USJ training today! I’ll see you guys at lunch time!” You waved goodbye to the children
The next hour was peaceful you spent it with Hizashi tweaking some parts of your newhero suit. Your old on was admittedly, well, a hunk of shit. You put it together yourself in your college dorm since you couldn’t get help from your schools support department, obviously you were never meant to be a hero so in their eyes what was the point? So you took some skinny jeans and a sleeveless top and attached holsters to the side with fabric glue and gorilla glue to hold your weapons, but it was NOTHING in comparison to what Hatsume prepared. In as little as 2 hours she crafted a red and purple one piece suit with a voice mask to carry the sound of your quirk farther, it had a utility belt to hold one of your stun guns on each side and a small med kit in the front, and two back straps to hold your ninjatōs. It was the finest piece of hero material you’ve ever been given, but it needed some last touches…
Hizashi: “Who would ruin such a beautiful piece of metal like that?! Who even is Jaylen?” He asked as he watched you carve into the side of your sword
Y/N: “He’s my…he was my big brother. I always put his name on my material to honor him” You muttered in response
Hizashi: “Oh I-I’m so sorry…I couldn’t imagine how it feels to lose a sibling. Losing him must have been like losing a part of yourself.” He sunk into his seat embarrassed by his poor manners
Y/N: “For someone who’s never experienced it you explained the feeling pretty well” you chuckled lightly while finishing up the last letter, “there must be some skeletons in your closet too huh?”
Hizashi: “Something like that…”
Y/N: “WHAT?! HIZASHI WERE ON FIRST NAME BASIS NOW YOU CANT CLIFFHANGER ME LIKE THAT!” You flailed like a child having an episode
Hizashi: “PAYBACKS A BITCH Y/N!!” You both cackled before hearing an urgent knock on his classroom door. If you had known what the emergency was you wouldn’t have taken so long to answer it.
Y/N: “Iida? Oh my god are you okay?! Your sweating like a dog!!”
Iida: “MISS Y/N…THE USJ…VILLAINS ARE ATTACKING THE USJ!!” He yelled in between violent huffs
You felt your body go numb and hot at the same time.
This isn’t real? This isn’t happening right now is it? You thought to yourself
But it was. All the teachers racing to the USJ center, Hizashi motioning you to get your hero suit on, Nezu staying behind and comforting the other students while Recovery girl called the police. It was all real, and you were right in the middle of it running right along side them to fight an enemy you knew nothing about.
Please be okay, don’t you dare fucking die you mangy haired idiot. I still need to give you your shirt back, I still need to show you how wrong you were about me!
I still need the chance to make you proud even if I hate it!
Just stay alive!
Your thoughts moved too fast for you too keep up with, then silenced at the sight. Everything was destroyed, students hurt and screaming, a monster…towering over Aizawas crushed body.
Y/N: “What the hell is that Hizashi?”
Hizashi: “…It’s a Nomu.”

Mimic Chapter 19
Tumblr media
With two students missing, heroes and students race to rescue them unaware of the biggest threat finally making its appearance.
Words- 5378
Reader x MHA (Platonic)
Warnings: Injury, angst, and battles
Out of the 40 students, 15 were in critical condition due to that one villain’s gas quirk. Eleven had other injuries of varying degrees and thirteen got off with a scratch, and…two students were missing. Of the six Pros, one suffered a serious head injury. Another couldn’t be found, having left behind anything but a massive bloodstain. Three villains were captured but the rest had disappeared with a trace…the summer training camp we’d all been looking forward to…ended in the worst way imaginable.
Back at U.A. the following day the main teachers regrouped with Nezu for an emergency meeting. “We established the training camp to prepare for the battle against the villains, and then they attacked it. The irony of it is embarrassing. The whole ‘Villain Revival’ we took it too lightly. They’ve already begun their war…the war to destroy the hero society.” Nezu says to his fellow heroes.
“Even if we’d taken it more seriously, could we have prevented…this relentless flurry of attacks?” Midnight questions, “Most organized crime has been eliminated since the rise of All Might, so all that’s is left is the best of the worst…”
“Basically, we got too complacent in this peaceful era. Otherwise, there’d be no need for preparations..when we realized what was happening.” Present Mic says the seemingly most upbeat but still, there was a concern for the school and the students. All Might the hero known to keep a smile on his face was uncharacteristically downtrodden his head in his hands.
“I’m just mad about how useless I was…I was relaxing in the bath while they were out there fighting for their lives!”
“I reckon we can’t pretend to be undaunted no longer…like how we went and held the Sports Festival just after that other attack. Lettin’ our students get wrangled…is one serious failure for U.A.” Snipe says placing his hands on the conference table, “Wasn’t just Bakugo those varmints stole. They took away the public’s trust in us heroes.”
Nezu pulls out a newspaper that is tearing U.A. to shreds as well as I article on a tablet, “And the media’s having a field day censuring U.A. We can assume that they intentionally targeted Bakugo because of that crazed, violent image of him at the sports festival. If they can win him over then this institution is finished.”
“Well, it seems this institution is already done for due to L/n,” Mic says and the room drops in temperature. It still wasn’t released to the public of your apparent betrayal only that you had gone missing as well with Bakugo. But with Aoyama as a witness, it was clear to see that you had left to join the League.
A hand slams against the table starling the heroes who turn to see All Might silent his hand moving where there is a small crack in the table, “I refuse to believe she has betrayed us.” When he was told that you had joined them leaving with them he felt his whole world shatter, his master’s granddaughter joining the group with a villain that was the one to kill her. A part of One For All broken joining All For One.
“Cut it out Mic.” Midnight says, “Like hell I would, one of our students saw her join them and leave, she is most likely the mole. No one else knew of the location but us and the Pussycats!” Mic says stating the clear facts.
“Can you even prove that you’re in clear, there must be a reason for her to join them. We can’t just pin someone as the traitor!” Snipe says siding with All Might, there had to be some logical reason you went with them. Aoyama only saw you joined them maybe they said something to force her to come along with.
“In light of what happened, I trust you all and hope L/n’s reasoning was for the greater good. But the possibility of a mole has been something I’ve been considering for a while now.” Nezu says, while remaining neutral he could sense the good spirit within you.
“That is..” “A phone call is here! A phone call is here!” All Might gets up quickly excusing himself and entering the hall. What kind of Symbol of Peace can’t even save his own students?! Some hero I am…
“Sorry, what’s up Tsukauchi?” All Might greets him though still upset.
“I’m getting statements from your two colleagues right now, but we’ve got a shocking development in the case! We may have pinpointed the League of Villains’ hideout.” Tsukauchi says shocking the Number One Hero,
“About two weeks ago, one of my men was out canvassing for information. One witness saw a man with a ‘patchwork face’ enter a building. A building that didn’t have any tenants. We searched the database for convicted criminals around 20 years of age but none fit the profile. When we contacted the building owner, we learned that there’s a bar inside. A hidden one, though, like a shelter. It didn’t seem connected to the investigation at the time so we moved on, but now the description matches one of the villains who kidnapped your student! Given the situation, we’re going to raid the place as soon as we’ve got enough evidence! This is all top secret but I figured you should know!” All Might was in a state of shock and silence as he listened in.
“For this rescue and search-and-destroy operation, I’d like to ask you to join us! All Might?”
“You’re one heck of a pal...When we find those criminals, I’m gonna say…I am here to fight back!” All Might says shifting from his regular form to his hero form.
Tsukauchi smiles hearing the determination through the phone, “Oh one more thing All Might. Eraserhead said something about Sh-L/n.” All Might pause hearing his another student’s name, “He said during training camp she used this quirk that even she didn’t know about, super-strong almost to your level of strength these like red sparks coming from her. But when she used it she like was out of it, she attack one of the Pussycats and wasn’t affected when her quirk was erased. It was like someone took over her body I don’t know. They kept her contained for the rest of the trip until the attack and that’s when she disappeared.” All Might felt his heart stop hearing this. What quirk had you found to do this to you that even you had no control over?
“Eraserhead said that he saw her use it during the night of the attack and the same thing happened to her like before…she may not have been in control when she joined the League.”
“Tsukauchi…I will save Young Bakugo from the League…and I will save Young Shimura from whatever quirk has taken hold of her.”
In the League of Villains hideout, Bakugo is restrained surrounded by villains the broadcast of the U.A. staff turned lowered as Shigaraki spoke, “Why’re they criticizing the heroes huh?! Their only crime was doing too little, too late! It’s their job to protect people, but anyone can screw up now and then right?! Why’re people expecting them to be perfect? Heroes today sure have it rough, I’d say. Am I right, Bakugo?”
“The minute that protecting people started coming with a paycheck…heroes stopped being heroes this is what Stain has taught us!” Spinner said leaning against the wall.
“Save someone, and you get money. You get fame. Sounds weird to me. And in this society where the precious rules are everything..the people aren’t cheering for the losers, telling them to fight another day they’re blaming them. Our war is based on a few simple questions. What is a hero? What is justice? Is this what society’s really supposed to be like? Once we get people thinking about this stuff, that’s when we’ve won.” Shigaraki says staring at the U.A. student.
“And I know…you love to win!” Bakugo is silent looking at the ground before Shigaraki turns to Dabi, “Dabi. untie him.”
“Yeah no, he’ll go wild, for sure,” Dabi responds not wanting to get blown up on the spot by the aggressive blonde.
“It’s okay. We gotta treat him as an equal. We’re scouting him, after all. Besides.. Before he throws a tantrum, our little U.A. student here should be smart enough to know he can’t win.” Shigaraki says giving a look to the blonde.
Dabi sighs before turning to Twice, “Twice do it.” “Huh, me?! No thanks!”
Dabi gives the masked villain a look before he goes over to Bakugo and begins undoing his restraints,
“We apologize for the rather forceful measures taken to get you here and yet… We need you to understand that we’re no mere thugs working in the name of aimless evil. Not in the least. It wasn’t by accident that we spirited you away.” Mr. Compress explains and Bakugo rubs his sore wrist getting feeling back into his hands.
“Everyone here has a different story to tell, but we’ve all suffered thanks to other people. Thanks to rules. Thanks to heroes. We’ve felt suffocated…you more than anyone should-” A large explosion to Shigaraki’s face stuns the group as Bakugo holds his hands out.
“Thought I was gonna croak of old age while you idiots yapped away! Can’t stand maroons like you who can’t get to the damned point! Basically, you’re saying, ‘We wanna cause trouble be our pal!’ What a joke!” Bakugo scoffs at the villains as Shigaraki is silent staring at the floor.
“I’ve always admired All Might’s triumphs. No matter what any of you jerks say nothing ever gonna change that.” Bakugo says this is a promise to himself and to the villains.
“Father…”
“Quite amusing, Katsuki Bakugo…I’m truly impressed by your tenacity.” A familiar voice to the blonde comes from the doorway by the bar. Footsteps get closer and Bakugo is shocked to see you come from the doorway but something seemed off about you the way you’re presenting yourself and the energy that filled the room by your entrance.
“Master I apologize…” Kurogiri begins but you hold up your hand silencing him as you round the bar kneeling down to grab the hand rising up to face Shigaraki.
“There is nothing to apologize for. Clearly, we haven’t been good hosts ourselves. Bakugo you must understand our reasoning for your acceptance in the League.” You say and Shigaraki slowly takes the hand from your grasp. He can feel how cold your hand is almost as if you were dead, you were always warm, gentle to the touch.
“The hell is wrong with you copy-cat bastard? Why the hell are you siding with these damn idiots.” Bakugo says to you his glare sharp but seems to have no effect on your attitude.
“I must apologize Bakugo, it is quite meticulous getting a handle on this new body. Rest assured the girl you know is of no matter.” Your voice is cold as you look at the blonde. If this wasn’t you talking to him who the hell was using your body. A sudden jerk and your own hand is at your throat choking yourself, shocking the villains and the student. You laugh though slightly wheezy by the pressure on your throat.
“I guess I was wrong! Shimura, you truly surprise me..” You say before your face quickly fills with pain as you start breathing heavily.
“Get the hell out of my body.” You growl out before giving Bakugo a fearful look before it disappears before you straighten up.
“Apologizes. It will be much easier to handle her once we fully meet.” You say, your voice steady again. Whoever was controlling your body was someone none of them wanted to mess with even the villains that could sense this powerful aura coming off you.
“Kurogiri. Compress. Let’s put him to sleep again.” Shigaraki says as the magician starts to get closer, “I’m actually impressed by how unwilling he is to listen to reason.”
“You want me to listen get on your knees and beg!” Bakugo says his hands at his side ready to attack anyone who got closer enough. A knock on the door has everyone pausing.
“Hello. Kamino Pizza Delivery.”
Your head whips towards the wall right as it smashes open, “All Might…”
“SMASSSSHHH!” The wall comes knocking down shocking the villains, Kurogiri immediately goes to protect both Shigaraki and the girl but is stopped in his place by wood.
“Preemptive binding…Lacquered Chain Prison!!” All the villains except the two students are free.
“Till we meet for the final battle..” Your cold voice whispers before you drop to the ground, gasping for air having control of your body. Your felt disoriented having no control being forced to watch everything while stuck in a prison you couldn’t break free from, only for a moment your controller had a moment of weakness but that was quickly snuffed.
You quickly notice All Might, Gran Torino, and Kamui Woods in the room having saved the two of you. Shigaraki was next to you wrapped in Kamui’s binding. He was looking at you, was it really you or the person controlling your body. The fearful look in your eyes was all he needed to know you had returned.
“Must’ve been scary…good job you two for holding out. I’m sorry but you’re okay now!” All Might says looking at the two of you and Bakugo blows up,
“Scar...Scary? As if! I almost had ‘em!!”
“After all our scheming and plotting…the final boss foes and shows up on our doorstep..” Shigaraki says glaring at the Pro Hero, “No use then…We’re not the only ones you gotta worry about…Kurogiri..Bring them all over to play.” Shigaraki yells at the warp villain who is silent.
“I’m sorry Tomura Shigaraki..but the Nomu set aside for us..they’re gone!” Kurogiri says taking a quick glance at you to see if you would do anything but you looked more fearful than before.
“Looks like you’ve still got a lot to learn Shigaraki. Your little League has gone and taken some things too lightly..like this boy’s indomitable spirit. The relentless police investigation. It ends here Tomura Shigaraki!” All Might to the villain who starts to break from reality into madness.
“Ends here, huh…? Don’t be stupid. It’s only just starting. Justice this and peace that…all these vague things have kept the lid on our society’s filthy underbelly…We’re smashing through, though, and to do that, we’re removing you from the picture All Might..” Shigaraki says looking at the Number One through the hand on his face,
“I’ve already started finding allies. So make no mistake, this is where it all begins. Kurogiri..” The warp villain starts to use his quirk but a quick attack from Edgeshot has him unconscious.
“Like I just said. You’ll all be better off…if you take it easy.” Gran Torino says, “Kenji Hikiishi. Atsuhiro Sako. Shuichi Iguchi. Himiko Toga. Jin Bubaigawara. Working with little intel and even less time, the police burned the midnight oil to figure out your identities. Get it?” Gran Torino reveals each of their identities shocking them,
“There’s nowhere left to run. So, Shigaraki…Lemme ask you..where’s your boss?” A sharp pain enters your head and you press your hand against your head.
“Ahh Shimura’s old friend, I’ll enjoy crushing his bones between my hands…” His voice echos and you press your hand against your head trying to block out the voice. Get the hell out of my head you think to yourself. From the Heroes yelling to Shigaraki yelling back, none seem to notice the pain going on with you as you fight an internal battle to keep control.
“Save Shigaraki? Only I can do that.” Stop it no.
“All Might is weak, you could kill him right now.” I won’t do that.
“Give me the body.” NO!
“You will submit to me!” “Where is he?! SHIGARAKI!” “I HATE YOU!!” Multiple people scream out and your arm flicks out and black portals of ooze appear with Nomus coming out.
“Nomu?! From where? And what’s that black liquid?” Kamui says as he holds the villains with his quirk.
“Edgeshot! Did Kurogiri?” Gran Torino questions and Edgeshot shakes his head, “It wasn’t him! He’s out cold!”
“Don’t you dare let them go, Kaumi Woods!” All Might screams at the Pro as more Nomu appear. Rising up your hand moves and the same black goo starts to come out of Bakugo’s mouth.
“NO!” All Might tries to reach for his student but is too late to get him as he disappears, turning to face his other student his blood runs cold seeing someone else looking at him. It may have been your face but it wasn’t you.
“All Might… I’ve waited years for this moment and you’ve brought her straight to me..” You say though it’s cold your arms out as you point at yourself. Gran Torino is shocked to see this different version of you.
“Shimura has created the perfect vessel for me. If only I hadn’t killed her before I could thank her.” You grin your eyes dark and it was the same eyes that All Might remembers seeing all those years ago.
“All For One..” All Might whispers and your grin grows wider.
“It is time to reunite with her and take her as my own. I will only say this once to you but thank you..” All For One says through you before you feel control come back to your body before black ooze starts coming out of your mouth.
“All Might!” You cry, reaching your hand out towards the hero racing over to save you. His hand slides through your own before you disappear into the ooze.
“SHIMURA!!” All Might screams out into the room, he had Young Bakugo slip from his grasp and you, All For One had gotten you.
In Kamino Ward already large destruction has occurred with the arrival of him, slow clapping could be heard as the heroes were quickly defeated and the students have hidden away frozen in fear.
“That’s the #4 hero for you! Best Jeanist! I was planning to blast them all straight to hell! But you grabbed them by their clothes and threw them aside in the nick of time! Such quick decision-making, such technique…such incredible reflexes.” All For One says as Best Jeanist pushes himself up to his elbows, a quick attack barely lifting a finger creates a massive hole in Best Jeanist’s chest who quickly falls over bleeding.
“Your strength is the product of an endless amount of training and a wealth of experience. But I don’t need it. Because your quirk wouldn’t suit Tomura.” All For One says. Behind a wall just feet away from this major villain are Midoriya and other students. This was him, the one All Might warned him and L/n about. He needed to move. He needed to fight. But the arrival of two people had the boy stop.
“Ugh, what the hell!” “Oh god..” You land on the ground trying to catch your breath as Bakugo stands next to you.
“Apologizes…Bakugo..Shimura..” Bakugo gives you a look at hearing a different last name than what everyone else calls you.
“RUN HE WILL KILL YOU!” You almost cried out hearing her voice again. You see Nana standing a few feet away banging her hands on an invisible barrier separating the two of you. This was him… All For One. More portals open and the rest of the League quickly appears.
“You’ve failed again, Tomura.” All For One says to the male who is looking back at him, from where you are on your knees you were in between All For One and Shigaraki close to All For One though.
“But you mustn't lose heart. There will be more chances to set things right. That’s why I’ve brought along your little band,” All For One says pointing to the League beside him, “And the boy…because you determined that he is an important pawn. And I have reunited you with her…you will have her by your side.” You feel your body move without your control making you cry out. Forced to stand and face Shigaraki your body mirroring All For One’s as you both hold out your hand to Shigaraki’s.
“So try again. That’s what I’m here to help you to do. It’s All For You.” Shigaraki looks at you, your face was fearful as your body was forced under All For One’s will but you were here. Just a step away from him, holding your hand out to take his, to join him and be with him.
“Shigaraki don’t do this please!” You cry out and your hands rush up to your throat as you begin to choke yourself, Bakugo yells out at the villain to stop but knows he is useless against him. Your face was getting blue at the lack of oxygen as you choke out words to the villain standing before you silent.
“p-please…” You wheeze out as All For One tightens his grip before he senses something,
“I knew you’d come..” Letting go of control of you making you fall to your knees to catch your breath All For One quickly counters All Might’s attack,
“You’re gonna give it all back. All For One!” “Here to kill me again? All Might?”
The pressure from their attack creates a shockwave sending you all flying back to the ground being destroyed.
“What took you so long?” All For One taunts her enemy, he deflected All Might’s attack. “It’s about five kilometers from the bar to here…and it took you a whole 30 seconds to arrive after I sent the Nomu...You’re losing it, All Might.”
“So are you. What’s with that industrial-looking mask?! Are you sure you should be up and about in that state?!” All Might spits back at the villain stretching his arm back as the two prepare to attack again.
“I’m not gonna make the same mistake I did five years ago… All For One!” Reaching towards the villain at breakneck speeds his fist reared back, “I’m taking Bakugo and Shimura! And this time, I’m smashing you into a prison cell! You and your little League of Villains!”
“Sounds like..there’s a lot on your to-do list…” All For One raises his hand and it seems to enlarge with the same red sparks that you were able to use, “You and me both.” Without even touching the Number One, All Might is sent flying away crashing through buildings rumble getting kicked up in the process. Did he kill him…
“That’s air cannon..plus springlike limbs, kinetically boosted by four and the strength enhanced by three. It’s a fun little combination but I want to add in a few more power-up type quirks..” All For One says you're shocked looking in the direction All Might was sent to.
“All Might!!” Bakugo screams out shocked as well. “Don’t fret that won’t be enough to kill him. So…you need to flee Tomura. And take the boy and my vessel with me.” All For One says and his left hand grows these red and black spikes before they shoot out toward Kurogiri who is still knocked out.
“Kurogiri will help with your escape.” Kurogiri seizes up,
“Hey, you! The poor fellow’s been knocked unconscious!! I’m not sure how you do it but couldn’t you use your warp ability to help us get away?” One of the villains calls out to All For One who shakes his head.
“My version’s still not complete, Magne. It only works over extremely short distances, and it’s not like his, which can target specific coordinates. All I can do is bring things to me or sen them away from me. What’s more…the destination has to be a person that I’m well acquainted with.” All For One explains before a large portal opens from Kurogiri. “Now Go.”
“And you, Master…?” Shigaraki says looking at the man. A large crash as All Might appears again.
“You won’t get away!” “Always think ahead, Tomura. You still have much room to grow.” All For One says before floating up and stopping a punch from All Might creating a shockwave of wind.
“Bakugo you have to get out of here I’ll try to hold them back.” You say to the blonde who is still in shock seeing the Number One Hero fight the Number One Villain. Snapping out of shock he looks over at you,
“The hell I’m letting stay behind you think I’m weak or something?!”
“That’s not it at all. All For One could take control of my body at any moment, you need to get away so I don’t end up hurting you in the process.” You say and Bakugo scoffs his palm heating up ready to fight.
“And I’ll beat you up if that happens. I’m not leaving!” He says and you knew you could persuade him otherwise. The League quickly jumps to Bakugo who dodges their attacks. You rush to help him when a hand grasps your wrist and pulls you back. Turning to see who is holding your fist reared back to attack you pause seeing Shigaraki holding your wrist.
“Let go of me.” You say and he shakes his head still staring at you, “Shigaraki you can stop this, please.” You beg him but he is still silent.
“It’s you right? Not All For One or anyone else. You are Y/n..” He says his voice sounded fearful wanting to prove to himself you weren’t being controlled again.
You pause twisting your hand that he is holding so your hand could hold his wrist, he keeps at least one finger off you. Your hand is warm and soft unlike before when it was cold and lifeless. “Please you can stop All For One. You can be a hero.” You say softly and his eyes widen behind the mask covering his face hearing your words he shakes his head.
“No…no this was all for you..for us! What they did, I’m doing it for us.” He says shaking his head and you’re confused what did he mean by us. He was doing all this for you?
“What are you talking about, please stop One For All! I know you can do it.” You shout grabbing both of his arms to redirect his focus to you.
“I know how you’re family died!” He shouts out and despite the battle rushing behind you it was quiet between you two. Why would he say that? Your family died in a freak accident…right.
“No my family died in an accident. Stop it!” You shout back at him shaking your head and he looks distraught as well.
“I’ll tell you everything just come with me.” He says holding his hand out and you stare at it. You could find out about your past that seemed so clouded and missing, but you couldn’t betray your friends, All Might, or One For All. Taking a step away from him Shigaraki feels his heart shatter, you rejected him. You never wanted to be with him, side by side. You feel something in your chest hurt from rejecting his offer.
A loud rumble has you turning back and a large slope of ice appears along with a blob of people up in the air. Is that.. Midoriya?! You see Bakugo moving towards you, “LET’S GO!” He yells out and you start moving when Shigaraki grabs you again.
“Don’t go...Please don’t leave me..” He begs you and a small part of you tells you to stay but you knew you couldn’t. Bringing your hand up to his face and holding it though you can’t touch his skin due to the hand covering it.
“I will save you Shigaraki I promise.” “Tenko.” He cuts you off and a rush of deja vu hits you hearing that name. “My name is Tenko.” You smile softly at him before pulling away from him, his arm still outstretches as you rush towards Bakugo. Away from him again...he is alone.
“YOU WILL NOT LEAVE ME SHIMURA!!” All For One roars shooting himself over to you to take a hold of you but All Might cuts in pushing him back.
“GET OUT OF HERE!” All Might yells as you reach Bakugo,
“Hold on!” He yells and you wrap your arms around his neck, the rest of the League rushes over to stop you two but with one large explosion you’re soaring into the air, Bakugo’s hand latches onto Kirishima's the two of you free from the League’s grasp.
“You idiots!” Bakugo yells. The five of you soar through the air, looking back you see one of the League members up in the air as well.
“Guys we got company!” You yell but before Compress could get any far Mt. Lady shoots up stopping the attack with her face.
“Get out of here you damn kids!” She says before collapsing. Landing back on the ground a fair distance away the five of you catch your breath from the intensity of the fight and rescue.
“Come on we need to get further away, in case they’re still after us,” Iida says and you all begin walking when you feel your arm move without your control lunging for Bakugo. Feeling the air move behind him he dodges at the last second, your hand makes contact with a rumble which decays instantly.
“L/n!” “Get out of here now!” You yell to the four boys grabbing your wrist and holding it back as it twitches with control from All For One.
“If he takes over! He’ll kill you all!” You cry out and your hand lunges towards Kirishima who slides back out of the way.
“Hey, All For One!” Bakugo yells out and your hand turns your entire body to face him right as a fist comes hurtling towards your face. You’re sent back hitting the ground and you feel your nose crack from the blow. Did he just fucking punch you.
“Bakugo!” “Dude!” “Kacchan!” The three other boys yell at the blonde who is still looking at you as you push yourself up clutching your nose as blood pours from it. The pounding in your head as you try to get your ears to stop ringing as well as your vision to clear up.
“Did you just fucking punch me!” You shout at the blonde wincing at your own volume as the pounding got worse.
“Is he still in your head?” Bakugo ask getting straight to the point, you couldn’t really hear any voices just the pounding in your head, but he was right All For One wasn’t there.
“You asshole…thanks.” You spit at him and he reaches his hand out for you to pull you back up. Blood was still dripping from your nose down your chin.
The three other boys look at you concerned but by how you seemed alright despite the broken nose and possible concussion, they couldn’t wait any longer. Kirishima had given you a ripped piece of his shirt to clean the blood from your face, the bleeding had stopped but the bridge of your nose was crooked due to the broken bones. Returned to civilization a large mob had crowded around one of the large billboards projecting the fight happening.
Back at Kamino Ward, the League had just escaped from All Might’s grasp with Gran Torino now joined with him. All Might grabs All For One’s arm, “Shut up! That’s what you do. You toy with people’s very lives! You break them! You steal from them! You take advantage and manipulate them!” All Might yells at his enemy rearing his fist back,
“You sneer at them when they’re just trying to live their everyday lives! And for that…I can’t forgive you!!” Sending All For One into the ground All Might’s fist breaks the heavy-duty mask covering All For One’s face. With the force of the battle and that one punch, All Might was at his limit as half of his face was reverting back to his regular form.
“Getting awfully emotional, aren’t you, All Might? I seem to remember hearing that exact line once before. From the previous person to inherit One For All…Nana Shimura.”

WAIT okay. Hurt/comfort mentor!danny where bakugou dies at kamino (maybe a stray chunk of rubble, maybe a dusted chest, maybe katsuki just missed the hand kirishima offers) and becomes a ghost. Now danny has to teach the newly formed Dynamight how to a) be a ghost and b) how to be human enough to not be suspected of being a ghost. Lots of hidden trauma, lots of parental danny (and maybe a Ghost Adoption, whos to say).
Danny's knees buckled as he stared down at his student's broken body.
The move had been risky. He doesn't think he's ever seen Bakugou try and fly like that. And he had been so close to catching Kirishima's hand.
Danny had been so close to catching him as he fell.
There was that familiar ball of guilt and anger rising up in his chest as he looked at Bakugou's blank expression. There was a crater where he had tried to slow his fall, but it hadn't been enough.
Danny held Bakugou's face gently, like he was a fine piece of china. He thumbed some soot off of the kid's face, and allowed a couple tears to finally shed.
But then his ghost sense went off.
He jerked his head up, a gasp getting locked in his throat. Because standing before him was one Katsuki Bakugou.
He looked almost exactly how he had died. The only difference was a faint glow, and a tinny echo that appeared when he spoke.
"What the fuck is happening?" He asked.
"You-I didn't catch you," Danny told him, unable to hide the anguish in his voice. "You died, Bakugou. You're a ghost now."
As if realizing this for the first time, Bakugou glanced down at his own body, pale and lifeless, and then back at Danny.
"Hide it," he said. "Hide my body."
"What? Bakugou, I can't do that. You need to-"
"What I need to do is become a hero," Bakugou said. He seemed to accept this far faster than most ghosts. Danny would have been impressed if it weren't for what he was being asked to do.
"Bakugou," Danny said as the boy's image flickered. "You're unstable. I need to take you to the Zone so you can recharge. And then we can talk about-talk about what's going to happen next."
"Tch," Bakugou said, crossing his arms over his chest. Because while he may have processed the fact that he was dead, and a ghost, Danny was still reeling with the loss of one of his students. Even if he was back as a ghost just to spite him. "I'm gonna be a hero," he said. "Not even dying is going to stop me from doing what I was born to do."
This is Bakugou's obsession at work. It's new and violent and clouding his thoughts, but the chances of Bakugou losing control as a ghost is high, and it would be just as devastating as what's happening behind them. Danny needs to tread carefully. Bakugou was already obsessed with becoming a hero when he was alive, that much was true, but now that he's a ghost it's even worse. Ghosts are a bundle of emotions and ectoplasm, after all.
"I'm not saying you can't still be a hero, Bakugou," he said. "Just look at me," he gestures to himself. "The Ghost King isn't just some pompous title I came up with, kid. But there are a few things we need to do first, okay?"
Bakugou looked at him for an unnervingly long time. He seemed unbothered by the explosions of the fight that's off in the distance.
"Fine. But you better teach me how all of this ghost bullshit works."
------------
"We have a bit of a problem," Danny said. Nezu, Aizawa, and Bakugou's parents stared back at him expectantly.
"What's happened to my son?" Mrs. Bakugou asked, full of fire and rage and drive that Bakugou no doubt inherited.
"It...I couldn't save him," he said after some silence. "But he's not...Gone. It doens't make much sense, but I need everybody's word that what is said in this room stays in this room. Nobody else can know."
"I don't see how this has anything to do with Katsuki's...His-"
"-With all do respect, Mr. Bakugou, it has everything to do with him. Bakugou, you can show youself now."
His parents jumped back in surprise, and Aizawa's brows shot up to his hairline as Bakugou appeared before them. Over the course of the week Danny has been in the Zone coaching him on his ghost powers and ghost anatomy. He still has his explosions, thank time. But now he has to deal with the added stress of being able to control the rest of his powers.
"What...What's happening?" Mrs. Bakugou asks as she shakily walks over to her son. Bakugou can read a room, at least, so he lets his mother pull him into a tight hug. She buries her face in his hair as she hold him tight, tears streaming down her face. Mr. Bakugou isn't far behind.
"So he's like you?" Aizawa asked. Because they've been friends since high school, and he's always been good at putting two and two together.
"Sort of. He's full, not half," Danny explains quietly in a vain attempt to give the Bakugou's a semblance of privacy. Aizawa pales, and he sucks in a deep, deep breath. He didn't want to break the news to him this way, but he couldn't not tell the kid's homeroom teacher. He was, after all, the second best person capable to deal with ghost bullshit.
After about fifteen or so minutes, the Bakugous all pulled apart. Nezu handed them tissues, and Bakugou looked away. Danny pointedly ignored the tear stains on his face in favor of an explanation.
"So, Bakugou is a ghost. And because of that, there are certain things he needs that can't be found in the mortal realm," Danny calmly explains.
"You seem to know from experience," Mr. Bakugou tells him. Danny gives him a smile, but it lacks its usual warmth.
"The Ghost King title in my hero name isn't just for show," he tells them. "There's this pocket dimension where ghosts who are determined enough to stay live. It's a whole world that's made of ectoplasm-the thing us ghosts are all made of. Instead of sleeping or eating to recharge, he'll need to go there. For now, at least overnight for the foreseeable future. He's still a new ghost, so he can't be out of the Zone for very long. Eventually he'll get strong enough to last a few days, or even a few weeks without returning.
"All of that being said, Bakugou is still determined to become a hero," he says this while looking at Nezu and Aizawa in particular. "All ghosts have an obsession-a reason for staying, if you will. A reason for, lack of a better word, living. It's the very essence of a ghost, the very reason they're created. Bakugou's obsession is being a hero."
"What are you saying?" Aizawa asked him.
"I'm saying not even death is going to stop the kid from being a hero," Danny explains. "Since it's his obsession, there's quite literally no stopping him. But, well, we've already proven it can be done," he gestures to himself. "I can train Bakugou on how to be a ghost, and while he's in the mortal realm he can stick to just using his explosions."
"You stubborn brat," Mrs. Bakugou says with a proud smile. Bakugou rolls his eyes.
"Whatever, you old hag," though there's no real heat behind it. He's very aware of the gravity of the situation. In death, there's a solumn undertone to his movements and his speech. His tone, too, is a bit quieter, but that could just be him getting tired. Danny glances down at Bakugou's hands. His fingers are flickering in and out of existence.
"This is all...So much," Mrs. Bakugou says.
"It is," Danny agrees. "And I'm sorry I couldn't do more for him. But he's in good hands. Now, I'm sorry to cut this meeting short, but I need to get Bakugou back to the Zone so he can recharge. If you need me for anything at all just talk to Aizawa, he knows how to contact me when I'm in the Ghost Zone."
Aizawa sends him a tired glare, but nods resolutely. Danny shoots him a thankful smile before opening up a portal to the Ghost Zone. Bakugou says one last goodbye over his shoulder, Danny gives one last thank you to the group, and then they're gone.
--------------
Bakugou honestly doesn't know how to feel about being dead.
He can't tell Midoriya because then he'll never shut up, though he'll probably be the first to notice something is wrong with him. He can't tell Kirishima because then it'll be nothing but guilt, and he doesn't need his friend feeling that way. Not over a mistake Bakugou himself made. If he hadn't hesitate, if he had propelled himself a little bit farther, none of this would have happened.
He doesn't remember hitting the pavement, half buried under debris from the fallen buildings. He does remember a cool calm washing over him. It was dark, but when he opened his eyes he was staring at his teacher-who's apparently also dead-holding his limp body.
Needless to say, it's a lot to process.
Phantom once asks him if he wants to talk to somebody about it. Bakugou nearly explodes his face off, and Phantom doesn't bring it up again.
Getting the hang of his new body though is enough of a distraction for him. Sure, he can't use it in his hero work without people getting suspicious, but it's something else to master. Another hurdle to jump over, and he welcomes it with open arms.
The biggest problem with his ghost powers is them being tied to emotion. Apparently, according to Phantom, ghosts are made through intense emotions mixing with ectoplasm. Some ghosts have different powers that either stem from their quirk or the way they died. Bakugou is glad he only has his explosions to deal with in that regard. He doesn't think he could be bothered to learn a new quirk on top of the baseline powers that all ghosts apparently have.
He's got a strong hold on his invisibility. Phantom had said that's the most important one, because if a flight or fight response is triggered, even subconsciously, it would activate. It's best not to avoid that if he doesn't want to be hounded and expose both their secrets. Intangibility is next, but it's a lot less obvious if he slips up most of the time.
Phantom later has him try out ectoblasts. They're one of Phantom's go to, so it doesn't surprise him. What does surprise him, however, is what comes out. Instead of a clean beam of energy like Phantom's, his normal explosions come. But instead of the usual fiery red, they're the same toxic green as the world around them.
"Interesting," Phantom said. "Unsurprising. But channeling your ectoplasm like you would your quirk somehow merges the two. Try using your explosions normally."
He does, and he's thankful that they're back to normal. Phantom hums like he's in deep thought, but doesn't say much about it.
But, it does make Bakugou curious.
"What was your quirk?" he asks Phantom. "Before you died, what kind of power did you have?"
"Hm?" Phantom asks, momentarily knocked out of his daze. He takes a second to process the question before waving him off. "I didn't have one. I was born quirkless."
Bakugou carefully doesn't comment. He's been getting better, and while it can't make up for the shit he did in middle school he does realize that he was wrong. He lives with the guilt of telling Deku to kill himself every day. But it's still a bit of a shock to his system, figuring out that one of the most powerful heroes in the nation was just some quirkless schmuck who got the short end of the stick.
"How...How did you die?" Bakugou asks after a couple minutes of silent contemplation.
"My parents built a portal to this place, but it didn't work. Or, at least, it wouldn't have if I hadn't stepped inside of it. They put the power switch on the inside, and when I tripped I turned it on. Let me tell you, electricity is not the way to die."
"So you're just an accident?" He asks. He's dimly aware in the back of his head that that's a rude question, but he's never cared about that kind of stuff before. He's not going to start now. Phantom though, he takes it like a champ. He throws his head back and barks out a laugh.
"Most premature deaths are, kid," he says. There's something sad in his tone that squashes Bakugou's curiosity. He'll ask his other questions another day. "Oh, before I forget, here." Phantom hands him a jar of green spices. "To eat. You can't eat normal food, but I had a friend of mine whip that up. Just sprinkle it on your food and you should be able to eat it normally. Same with any drinks. Plus, it's ectoplasm, so if you eat consistently you'll be able to last a bit longer outside of the Zone."
"Thanks," he says, taking the jar.
"No problem. Just...Only make sure it's in your own food. If anybody else eats it they're gonna get really sick. And, let me tell you, ghost sickness is also not the way to go out. Got it?"
Bakugou can only nod.
------------------
"How did you get over it?"
Phantom turns to look at him, confused for a moment before giving him a shrug. They're in Phantom's Keep today because he's got back to back meetings with the Ancients, who are apparently big and powerful who are older then he can truly comprehend. He's got a crown of ice floating over his head, and he's wearing a cape with moving constellations on the inside of it, held in place around his collarbones by two glowing skulls. He looks every bit the king he evidently is, and Bakugou can feel the commanding aura emanating from him.
"I had support," he tells Bakugou. "I had friends who helped me along the way, including Aizawa. I made friends here, too, though they all hated me at first. There are only three halfas in the world, and I was the only one keeping them from taking over downtown Musatafu. Ghosts are all emotion, most of them tend to hold a grudge more often than not. But...I talked to people. I let them help me."
Hm. Food for thought, he guesses.
-------------
The first couple of days in the dorms is loud and obnoxious, and it puts him on edge. He puts all of his focus into staying seen and solid more so than yelling at his dumb friends. The only one who's noticed a true difference is, of course, Deku, but he's smart enough to not say shit in front of everybody else.
The others take his more subdued behavior in stride, thinking it's a side affect of being kidnapped by a nutsack looking motherfucker instead of actually dying. It's obvious they're gad he's just here. Somehow that makes him feel worse.
Still, being around his friends makes him feel normal. As if him dying never happened. There's still this ache in his chest knowing that he doesn't even need to breath anymore-that it's just habit at this point-but with Kirishima hanging off his shoulders as he talks excitedly about some dome shit Kaminari did, he feels normal. He feels alive.
He even almost feels okay.

Aizawa x Reader - A Decisive Bid
A/n: I was going to work on a Fantasy AU, but I thought of whatever this is instead. For anyone who might not know, a bachelor auction is when bid in hopes of getting a date with a hot guy. Usually the money goes towards raising money. (I literally got this inspiration from a Hallmark movie I saw a long time ago)
And Emi Fukukado is Ms. Joke. (No Ms. Joke slander allowed)
(Masterlist)

“You’re going to what?!” You shrieked. You keeled over, desperately trying to hold in your laughter.
“I can’t believe it either!” Mic screamed, laughing his heart out.
“Mmmmm, how romantic! This could be the start of a passionate love affair. OH I CAN’T-”
“Shut up. I’m only doing this because it’s for a good cause.”
Aizawa glared at you, trying to murder you all with his look.
“I just… it’s really hard to believe that you’re going to participate in a bachelor auction,” you said, trying to keep your voice even and not break out laughing.
Aizawa sighed, “It’s the last thing I want to do. But Nezu said it’d be good for the school, and besides, any profit will go to the orphanage for the kids whose parents died in any villain attacks.”
“Yeah, I’m gonna participate too! I’m definitely gonna be a huge hit with the ladiiieesss!” Mic yelled.
“Yeah, you’ll definitely knock them out with that voice of yours, Mic.”
“Well, there’s only one way this is sure to end,” Midnight sang.
“Oh yeah, you’re right,” Mic laughed.
“What are you talking about?” Aizawa eyed them with suspicion.
“Oh, don’t tell me you’ve forgotten about the lonely vixen who’s spent years of her life pining after you!” Midnight swooned.
‘Hey wait, she doesn’t mean me, does she?’ You thought to yourself. Nemuri really wasn’t about to do this again, was she-
“Emi Fukukado!”
Oh.
Oh.
“Oh no,” he groaned.
“Yeah dude, looks like you’ll be stuck with her for a date!” Mic grinned. “Unless of course, someone else bids higher,” he said, looking at you from the corner of his eye.
“It doesn’t matter who bids on me, either way I’ll be miserable.”
“Come on, aren’t you tired of being alone all the time?” Mic asked.
“Just drop it, Mic,” Aizawa huffed. “Anyway, I should go prepare,” he said, not even waving goodbye as he walked away.
“This is your chance, (Y/n)!” Mic said, grabbing you by the shoulders.
“It’s quite sad that you haven’t made a single move in 15 years. You shouldn’t waste any chances or time will be out,” Midnight agreed.
“If I haven’t made a move in 15 years, what makes you guys think I’ll make one now?” You asked, annoyed.
“Don’t tell me you don’t have hot jealousy coursing through your veins at the thought of Aizawa being bought by another woman! You-”
“Enough, Nemuri. I’m a thirty year old woman, not some hormonal teenager.”
“Yeah, (Y/n) doesn’t do immature stuff like that. What she does do, is kindness,” Mic grinned.
“Kindness? What is that even supposed to mean?” You asked, confused.
“Well, since you love all of your friends so much, that probably means that the thought of Aizawa spending a bunch of time with a girl he doesn’t like makes you feel really guilty, right? So, if you want your friend to be happy, naturally you’ll bid the highest so that he doesn’t have to have an awful time!”
“Are you seriously taking advantage of my kindness?”
“We’re just thinking of what’s most likely to happen.”
The thought of Aizawa being miserable did make you feel really bad but… it was just one day! He’d be fine.
“I’m not going to do anything. That’s final.”
**
‘How did I get here?’
And sure enough, your friends were right. You really had tried to resist, but you couldn’t stand the image of an unhappy, suffering Aizawa.
And maybe you were a little jealous.
So here you were, sitting at a table, money in hand, ready to begin bidding.
But what you weren’t expecting, was sitting at the table right next to another where none other than Ms. Joke sat.
“Oh, (H/n)! I wasn’t expecting to see you here!” She said, turning around to greet you.
“Yeah, me neither…”
“So, are you here to bid on someone?” She asked.
‘What do I even tell her? I wasn’t expecting to come face to face with her like this!’ You panicked internally.
“It’s… a surprise!” You exclaimed, instantly regretting your statement. ‘Surprise? Now she’s just going to be even more suspicious!’
“Surprise? Aw, come on! Are you sure you can’t tell me?”
“Heh, nope!”
“Not even a little hint?”
“You’ll see when it comes.”
Oh how you wanted the earth to swallow you up.
The auction finally began. Several times you were tempted to bid on someone else, even Mic, but your darn conscience told you to save Aizawa.
‘Joke may annoy him but it’s not like he hates her. How bad could it be?’ You tried to persuade yourself. ‘That’s right, I can just leave now and pretend like there was an emergency or something-’
“Next up is the mysterious Erasure Hero, Eraserhead!” The auctioneer cheered.
Aizawa walked up to the platform. He had cleaned up a bit, but he still looked completely dead in the eyes.
“His dark eyes really pull you in, don’t they? Do I hear one hundred dollars?”
“ONE HUNDRED!” A lady in the crowd shouted.
‘Shoot, do I bid now?’ To be honest, you didn’t have the slightest idea how bidding really worked, and Joke’s silence was unnerving.
Casting a glance at her, you noticed her smug smile.
‘She couldn’t possibly have that much money, does she?’
“THREE HUNDRED FIFTY!” Another woman screamed.
‘Wait, what?!’ When had the bidding gone up so high?
“FOUR HUNDRED!”
“FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY!”
“FIVE HUNDRED!”
The prices kept increasing until finally,
“ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!” Joke screamed, standing up.
‘One thousand dollars?! She jumped to one thousand dollars?!’ You screamed internally.
“Do I hear one thousand fifty? No? Going once, going twice…”
“ONE THOUSAND FIFTY!” You screamed.
Joke whirled around. “So, this is who you were bidding on?” She giggled. “I didn’t know you had it for Aizawa! Looks like we have ourselves a bidding war!” She laughed hysterically.
You felt yourself begin to laugh, much to your chagrin. “Yup, are you gonna raise the price?”
“You bet! ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED!”
“HAH! You… you really just raised the price by four hundred and fifty dollars??” You laughed.
“Yup! What’re you gonna do about it?”
“ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY!”
“TWO THOUSAND!”
“WHAT?!”
“You gonna go higher than that?”
“Hahahaha, TWO THOUSAND FIFTY!”
“TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED!”
“HAHAHAHA WHY DO YOU KEEP RAISING THE PRICE BY SO MUCH???”
“HAH! IT’S FOR A GOOD CAUSE!”
“THREE THOUSAND!”
“FOUR THOUSAND!” “FIVE THOUSAND!”
You two kept increasing the price more and more, having little concern for how much many you were spending.
“SIX THOUSAND!” “SEVEN THOUSAND!”
“EIGHT THOUS-”
“NINE THOUSAND!” “TEN THOUSAND!” Joke screamed triumphantly.
“Haha, ha…” Were you really going to do this?
“Going once, going twice…”
“TEN THOUSAND AND FIVE DOLLARS!” You screamed, hoping, begging, that Joke wouldn’t go any further.
You warily turned to look at her.
“Going once, going twice…”
“...”
“SOLD! To the lady at table 3!”
You kept your eyes on her, trying to gauge how she would react.
“HAH!” She bellowed. “Well would you look at that, (H/n), you beat me, HAHAHA!”
“Haha,” you laughed dryly.
“Come claim your ravishing prize!”
As you started walking past her to the stage, she stopped you.
“What is it?” You asked, unsure of what she would say.
“You don’t have to look so guilty. Besides,” she said, casting her gaze away from you, “he probably will have a better time with you than with me.”
You paused. She was handling this rather well. Maybe you were too harsh, thinking she was nothing but an Aizawa fangirl.
“Come on, don’t leave him standing there!” She smiled.
“Oh yeah,” you muttered, not sure of how to react.
You walked to the front and didn’t bother listening as the lady told you to “have the date of your life!” You barely even acknowledged Aizawa either, feeling like a fool for having spent TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS on him.
'Just remember the orphans, (Y/n).'
He didn’t say anything either until you got outside.
“I hope you know you made a fool of yourself.”
“Yea, I know,” you snapped, blushing out of shame.
“Why did you do that?”
“Well…” you trailed off. If you told him he would probably just call you stupid, right? But what else could you tell him?
“I know that going on a date with Ms. Joke is probably the last thing you would want, so I decided to bid on you so that you wouldn’t have to be so miserable,” you said, once again avoiding eye contact. “Besides, since you have the day off I figured you could take advantage to create lesson plans or get some sleep.”
Aizawa reflected for a moment, then sighed, “I didn’t ask for you to create a scene or try to save me.”
You looked away, feeling rather sheepish.
“But,” he continued, “you did it with the best intentions and I appreciate the thought. We both have the day off and… it would only be proper for me to thank you. Is there anywhere you want to go?”
You stared at him, wondering if you were hearing things.
He sighed again, “I asked for you to tell me if there was anywhere you want to go, not stare at me.”
“Oh, yeah, sorry,” you said, pulling yourself together. “Um, we probably shouldn’t go anywhere with a lot of people.”
“While that would be preferable, why not?” He asked.
“I mean, it’s not like we would want people spreading rumors about us going on a date, right? After all these years of friendship, I wouldn’t want you to become uncomfortable around me,” you laughed lightly, trying to see what his reaction would be.
“I’m not dumb enough to become uncomfortable around someone because of a rumor. I didn’t think you were either.”
“I’m not!” You said defensively.
“Good, then we don’t have to worry. Besides,” he added, “it’s not like they’d be saying anything that isn’t true.”
“I- what?” Your face reddened. Was he saying what you thought he was saying?
His pace slowed down the tiniest bit. “The whole point of this was to go on a date, right?”
“Yeah. So then this is a date?” You asked.
“I just asked you that.”
You smiled.
“Well, it’s a date then.”
And after fifteen years, you had finally made the first move.
Or had you? After all, when Aizawa agreed to the whole deal, he did have the smallest hope that you would bid on him.
But what did it matter, knowing who made the first move or not? After fifteen years, you were finally going to get to call the one you loved yours.

Tease - Aizawa Shouta x Fem!Reader
Warnings: 18+, daddy kink, creampie, smut up the ass, teasing, choking, sex toy use, sexting
A/N: I’ve been obsessed with the idea of Aizawa being tortured by his SO and then fucking them furiously so I made it and I definitely wrote it all in one night so there’s probably a lot of mistakes so pls be kind I haven’t written in a long time ;-;
You were about to be murdered. You definitely had the feeling that you were going to enjoy what whatever was coming to you but you were definitely going to die sometime tonight.
Aizawa’s eyes were burning holes into the sheer blouse that settled gently around your shoulders but you paid him no mind, continuing to prattle on whatever ridiculous subject Nezu had requested you speak about. All of Aizawa’s students paid rapturous attention, leaning forward in their seats as you spoke. The thoughts of the number ten hero, y/h/n, were important stuff after all.
“Okay, does anyone have any questions?” your perky voice shook Aizawa out of his stupor. Shame, anger and arousal crawled over his skin in turn as he lifted his gaze to meet your piercing y/e/c eyes. Try as he might, Aizawa couldn’t shake the vision of the filthy fucking photos you had sent him right before you entered his classroom. Unsuspecting of your true intentions, he had opened the files and choked on his coffee. The chatter of the classroom had stilled as a few of his students asked frantically if he was okay. He brushed them off as he scrolled through the photos you had sent him. The first ones had been innocent enough pictures of you getting dressed but the next few were… lewd to say the least. In one, you were flashing the soft dove grey lingerie set he had gotten you for your birthday to the camera, breasts pushed high by the bra. That was enough to make his mouth water but the next photo was you lifting the long, modest skirt you were wearing to show your fingers pressed against your dripping, wet pussy. The lacy thong was dark with your slick and you had evidently been playing with your pussy for a while because your fingers were wet up to the knuckles. He had shivered at the image, cock already getting hard as he yearned to take a taste and it took everything in him not to lick the surface of the phone itself.
The last photo was the true reason why he was currently so feral and why he was rock hard under his black joggers. It must have taken you forever to get the angle right in the mirror but you had bent over, hiked up the skirt and peeking from underneath the lace thong, was a gold princess plug with a red stone on the end. You had taken the photos this morning right before leaving the house and made sure to hit send to Aizawa before you walked in the room just to rile him up. You knew exactly what that would do to him: the thought of you pressing the plug into your ass and then strutting into his classroom like you owned the place. You hoped it would drive him wild and by the absolutely irritated look he had on his face when you walked in, you accomplished your goal and then some.
Aizawa ground his teeth together as hands shot up into the air, clenching his hands at his side. The softness of his pants grounded him reality. He was about to crawl right out of his skin if he didn’t get his hands on you like, yesterday, but these damn brats won’t stop asking questions. He didn’t blame them for being starstruck, you were pretty incredible but lord help him. He instead focused on how your voice sounded as it cheerily and sweetly answered all the inane questions that the brats asked, focused on how your eyes sparkled with pure, liquid evil, focused on how he was going to get his revenge on you later.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
After class was dismissed for the day, Aizawa had requested that you meet him in his classroom so you could have go home together since you took the bus over.
And, you hoped, for a naughty rendezvous in his classroom.
You rubbed your thighs together in anticipation, the cool, wetness between your legs only hastening your stride. You had been toying with this idea of teasing Aizawa at school for a few months now so when Principal Nezu called to ask if you could speak to the class, you accepted without hesitating. The purchasing of the outfit and the plug were a little difficult since you lived with your boyfriend and his prying eyes but thankfully you had a very deep hall closet where things tended to get… “lost”. The get up for today had been squirrelled away and had been thrown on in a rush as soon as Aizawa had left to teach this morning.
Judging by the thunderous expression on your boyfriend’s face as you entered his classroom, you were going to get exactly what you wanted.
“Hi baby!” You strode across the room and fell into his lap to give him a kiss but he pushed you away. Hurt bloomed in your chest. Was he… That upset about the photos?
Aizawa closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, his brows knitted together in annoyance. He inhaled deeply, exhaling through his nose, a clear sign that he was stressed beyond measure. Your heart stuttered in your chest, suddenly regretful and unsure of yourself and your behavior today. Was it too much? It was probably too much.
“I fucking hate you.” You flinched at his words, a cold slap of words shocking you. Your head dropped in shame, the burning spreading across your cheeks and threatening to spill out of your eyes. Damnit, you really miscalculated this one.
“Get on the fucking desk.”
Your head snapped up, shocked as hell.
What?
Black, burning eyes met your gaze when you lifted your head. Aizawa’s eyes burned with fury, desire, and a hunger you’ve only seen a couple times from him. Boy oh boy, did it make you weak in your knees and your thighs squeezed together in reflex. With just with one look, your boyfriend already had you in the palm of his hand, dripping wet to the point you could feel strings of your slick sliding down your thighs.
He clicked his tongue in exasperation. “Kitten, I don’t like repeating myself. Get on the fucking desk or you’re going to be punished even more than I had initially planned.” Aizawa impatiently thumped the surface of the desk with his fingers and you didn’t hesitate to scramble up, crossing your legs as you did so but your boyfriend shook his head at this. “Don’t be shy now kitten, spread your legs so I can see that fucking pussy.” His voice was low, almost a growl as he ordered you to expose yourself to the cool air of the classroom. As he spoke, he smoothed his large palms up your calves. You shivered at his touch, tensing up slightly in anticipation of what was to come. Aizawa slid his hands under your skirt as his hazy black eyes zeroed in on your legs, pushing it up as he caressed your thighs in almost worshipful tenderness. Your heart softened for a second: he was always like this, touching you like you were something precious and delicate.
The soft touches quickly turned rough as your boyfriend forced your legs apart and hooked his fingers into your lacy thong in one motion. His voice hardened as he spoke. “You’re such a fucking slut, Y/N. Coming into my classroom with a goddamn buttplug in, talking to my fucking kids about school when I know all you want is to be plugged full of my fucking cum.” You shivered as you let out an involuntary mewl. Your boyfriend was the best at dirty talk and when he was furious like this, it only increased a hundredfold.
“Oh come on baby,” you tease breathlessly, your pussy clenching as your panties were pulled unceremoniously off. “You know you-“ The rest of your sentence was choked off as your boyfriend brought the completely soaked material up to his nose and inhaled the scent of your arousal. You whimpered, wishing it was your pussy next to his mouth. His tongue slipped out from between his lips and he lapped at the slick that coated the lace trapped between his fingers. His eyes fluttered shut as he could taste how turned on you were.
“What a filthy fucking slut. You’re so wet, look at you.” Without preamble, Aizawa dropped his hand to between your thighs and shoved two of his long fingers into your sloppy cunt causing you to throw your head back with a groan.
Oh fuck. Aizawa’s fingers filled you up in ways you had been needing all day and you rocked your hips in desperation, trying to get him to move them inside you but he remained still.
“Shouta plea-“ Your pleas were cut off by Aizawa’s sudden grip on your throat. Your breath caught and your eyes widened as you felt his fingers flex in a silent threat. “If the next words out of your mouth aren’t ‘please’, ‘more’, or ‘Daddy’, I don’t want to fucking hear it, kitten,” he spat out, his face twisting with lust and anger. “Got it?” You nod furiously, thankful that he was holding onto your throat or you would have been crying for his fat cock. Already, the slight lack of oxygen was making your head swim in the most delicious way as Aizawa gently leaned you back onto the table. He released you for a brief moment to snag a hair tie from his desk. With the darkest, smoldering look in his eyes, he tied his long hair back into a loose bun and renewed his grip on your throat.
Slightly reclining, his forearm was pressed against your chest to ensure that you didn’t move and that his grip stayed on your throat. Aizawa lowered his head between your thighs and you could feel yourself get wetter as he exhaled on your pussy. He admired the glistening shine of your arousal that coated your thighs and was leaking out of your pussy before diving in. Your shout of surprise turned into a cry of pleasure. Your dark haired boyfriend ate your pussy like a man starved, tongue fucking you as he pumped his fingers in and out of you. His tongue was slithering up and down your slit, dipping into your hole as his fingers pulled out. Occasionally, he would give a gentle suck to your clit which made you thrash, threatening to throw his hand off your neck.
“D-Daddy,” you whimper, slapping your hand over your mouth in hopes of strangling the cries before they came out. Aizawa pulled away from your pussy and in a low, dangerous voice that sent shockwaves straight to your pussy, he said “Don’t do that, I want to hear you cry.” His piercing black eyes latched onto yours as you shakily let your hand fall from your mouth. This entire time, he hadn’t stopped fingerfucking you, the desk slightly squeaking across the linoleum from the force of his pumping. You nodded at him and let out a high moan, the wet squelching of his fingers in your pussy sending your hormones through the roof. Your orgasm rapidly approaching, you let your head fall backwards and your eyes rolled back, fingers grasping at the loose fabric of your boyfriend’s black sweater.
All of the sudden, you were too empty and your eyes flew open.
“W-Wha, Daddy! Please!” You stuttered in betrayal at being brought to the edge and then left hanging. You were so close to cumming, you would have done anything but Aizawa had other ideas. His expression was cool but his eyes still burned with the same anger and lust from before as he sat backwards into his teacher’s chair.
“Filthy slut, you don’t get to cum before I do.” Your breath caught in your throat as you watched his heavy cock spring free of his sweats. His cock looked angry and dark, head purpling and wet with precum and you couldn’t wait to get it inside of you. Aizawa lazily picked up your abandoned thong, still soaked with your arousal and gripped it in his palm with his cock.
Black eyes bored into your own as he began to stroke his cock with your panties. The slick sound of his cock against the fabric was so hot, you were surprised that you didn’t burst into flames. As much as you wanted to reach for him, you knew that he would continue to deny you your orgasm if you misbehaved so you fidgeted in your spot, wishing it was your cunt wrapped lovingly around his cock, slicking it up with your wetness instead.  Aizawa let his head drop back, letting out a guttural groan as he stroked his cock, already imaging your tightness wrapped around him.
“Fuck baby, do you know what the fuck you did to me today? How badly I wanted to fuck you all fucking day?” You whimpered and snuck a hand between your thighs, a couple of fingers pressing deep into your pussy hoping to take the empty ache away. The soft wet noises of you both touching yourselves filled the room. “Your slutty little cunt is just waiting to be filled with my load, isn’t it baby?” Aizawa grunted, twisting his wrist a little as he continued to jerk off. “You want to be bred, baby? You’ll really be able to call me Daddy then, won’t you?” You jerk your head in agreement, desperately scissoring your fingers inside yourself as you tried to find that spot in you that would see stars.
“Come over here baby, come ride Daddy’s fucking dick,” the dark haired man growled, tossing your panties to the side and you threw yourself off the desk and into his lap. With one fluid motion, your boyfriend had turned you around and spread your legs. You marveled at his strength, he had your leg hiked up in the air with one arm, exposing you to the silent room. With the other hand, he grabbed his cock and gently tapped it against your slit, the tackiness of your slick dripping down his cock. You helped him guide his cock into your waiting entrance and let out a long, low moan at the feeling of your boyfriend’s fat fucking cock stretching your tight cunt. As soon as he got the head of his cock in, Aizawa got impatient and dropped you onto his cock, punching a shout of surprise from your lungs.
You hooked your arm around his neck so you could see his face as you experimentally rolled your hips. Both of your eyes rolled back as you started to move, your tight channel sucking him in deeper and deeper and his girth stretching you in ways you had been craving all day. As he filled you, you could feel the plug that was in your ass moving in tandem, seperated from his cock by only a thin layer in your body. You were so full but you couldn’t help yourself, you kept fucking yourself back on his cock. With every bounce, you jostled the plug inside you and it just felt so good to be so full that you continued to ride your boyfriend. The lewd slapping sounds of your bodies moving together made you both moan in lust. Aizawa attempted to muffle his moans by sucking one of your nipples into his mouth, grazing his teeth across the skin. This earned him a high pitched whine from you and you bounced even harder on his cock, feeling your orgasm nearing.
“D-Daddy,” you gasped, sparks firing off low in your belly.
“Yeah, yeah baby, you gonna cum?” Aizawa panted, reaching around and gently stroking your clit. “Cum on baby, cum on Daddy’s dick.”
Hearing your boyfriend give you permission to cum was all you needed to push you over the edge. You screamed as the force of your orgasm hit you like a truck, slick squirting out over Aizawa’s fingers and dripping down his cock. Your boyfriend wasn’t far behind, biting into your shoulder to mask his cry as he came inside you, the pulsing of his cock almost arousing you again.
As you both came down from your highs, you could feel Aizawa laughing into your shoulder.
“Nasty, naughty fucking girl.”

BNHA Chapter 319 Spoiler Analysis: Found Family
Holy crap what a phenomenal chapter!  This arc in general has been great, but this chapter might be one of my favorites of the arc.  Not just because it focuses on Class 1-A (I’m so glad to see the kids again), but because of the growth we see in these kids in general especially Bakugo and Shoto IMO.  Like, holy shit ESPECIALLY BAKUGO!  I stand by my opinion that Bakugo is one of the best developed characters in the series.  There’s so much I want to say about this chapter and I’ll try my best to do so if my poor injured left hand will let me 😭:
The chapter starts off with the first of 3 colored pages we’re going to get over the next few weeks to celebrate 7 YEARS OF MY HERO ACADEMIA!!!  CONGRATS, HORIKOSHI-SENSEI!!!  This series revived my love of anime/manga and really helped me in some really rough spots in my life.  I will forever be grateful towards Horikoshi for bringing this series to life and blessing us with such an incredible story full of beautiful characters.  MHA may be a little overrated, but I still think it deserves all the love it can get.
Anyway, the color page.  It shows Uraraka, Iida (who has red eyes here, so IDK why the anime gives him blue eyes though I do think they work better for him personally *shrugs*), Shoto, Tokoyami, and Bakugo after basically figuring out where Deku went.  Bakugo is shown tearing up his letter (which says something like “Thank you for being there, Kacchan”; there’s more but I can’t translate it 😭) and you can kinda see some bandage wrap around his arm where he was stabbed.  Also, both Bakugo and Shoto still have some visible injuries on their faces and Bakugo’s hands, so they’re still recovering from the War.  It’s a really pretty page in general and I can’t wait to see what the next 2 color pages are going to look like.  I also kinda want Horikoshi to take a break after this too again so he doesn’t overwork himself.  Maybe he’ll treat himself to the MHA: World Heroes Mission movie 🍿.
So, Shoto and Bakugo have figured out that Deku is most likely with Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist.  Problem is that none of them are answering their phones.  I like that Bakugo calls Best Jeanist “Pair of Denim Pants” 😂 and Shoto’s image of Endeavor is still a very angry version of his old man.  Shoto’s still making amends with his father, but he’s still not THERE yet.  Regardless, these kids are smart enough to know that something’s up.  Especially since All Might hasn’t returned to UA either.
It’s basically confirmed by Ojiro that because classes have been suspended, our Class 1-A kids are still 1-A; they haven’t moved into their second year yet.  That clears up the confusion on whether we should still refer these group of kids as 1-A still or not.
Now Bakugo’s showing how much of a genius he really is despite his personality.  Bakugo figures out that the Top 3 and All Might are working together as a group based on how they all connected with each other back at Central Hospital.  Also, Bakugo concludes that All Might snuck Deku’s letters under their doors while Deku started running.  Ultimately, Bakugo does know more about Deku and All Might more than anyone else does.  He’s been around his childhood friend and he’s admired his idol longer than most people have.  Bakugo understands how bad the situation is and he’s ready to take action.
As are the other kids.  You can see how determined they are and you can see Kirishima’s black roots coming in 🥺!  Even Uraraka gets some shine here by bringing up the idea to trick Endeavor to come via getting help from Principle Nezu as Endeavor was a UA student.  It’s really interesting to see Ochako in a more serious roll than usual, but I actually like it.  I hope she’s still as bubbly as she always was at the end of the day, but she’s definitely matured and grown a lot over the corse of the series.  Even the simple things like her hair show it as it’s not as floaty as it was before.  I love it when Horikoshi shows small details like this.  It adds to the characters and stories a lot.  Also, the art in this chapter is amazing.
And now it’s Endeavor vs. Class 1-A in a much needed conversation.  All the kids are wearing their school uniforms to make this as formal and serious as they can.  EVEN BAKUGO IS PROPERLY WEARING HIS TIE YOU KNOW SHIT’S ABOUT TO GO DOWN!!!  And, I must say, Bakugo looks damn good with a tie 😳.  You can also get a decent height measurement on the kids here if you want.  Ngl, sometimes I forget that Shoto’s about 2 inches taller than Bakugo.  It’s definitely the hair.
Shoto’s the first to step up and he scolds the hell out of his old man.  Rightfully so tbh.  Endeavor shouldn’t have ignored Shoto’s calls even though I kind of understood why.  Shoto reminds Endeavor of their plan to stop Dabi though thankfully that’s what’s pushing Endeavor forward so he hasn’t forgotten.  Shoto calls his father “Endeavor” and gets mad at him fro leaving Deku and All Might alone.  The rough translations say he called Izuku “Deku” here too btw.  Endeavor has no response.  I think this anger Shoto’s unleashing is very justified and has been burning inside him since Deku left UA.  His best friend just up and left him and his friends with nothing but a letter to kinda explain things.  Also, Shoto and the rest of 1-A (minus Bakugo) have basically been lied to for about a year.  I’d want answers too if someone did that to me.
Bakugo steps in by putting a hand on Shoto’s shoulder (🥺) to calm him down a bit and to say his piece.  Ultimately, he thinks what Deku is doing is right, but that the way they’re all doing it is wrong.  I love Deku and All Might, but they’re sacrificial idiots.  They care more about others than they probably ever will themselves.  That’s how All Might lost his OFA in the first place.  It’s because of that that All Might doesn’t have it in him to stop Deku from going down this path.  They shouldn’t have been left alone.  Someone should’ve kept a closer eye on them.  I know the Top 3 were all worried about getting too close to Deku before, but really, someone should’ve been watching them closer on the sidelines.
The next page is a really cool drawing of Endeavor flinging his phone to the kids to catch.  The previous panels showed Endeavor with this face that’s regretful and I think he realized something: That Bakugo is right and that the kids might be better off finding Deku than he is.  So he basically gives the kids his GPS on his phone.  Those are just my thoughts, but it does look like that.  I don't think Endeavor’s just going to up and give up though.  He’s probably going to start rethinking things though.
As Sero manages to catch Endeavor’s phone, he and the rest of the kids think about how even though they’ve only known Deku for a year, they still think of him as family and cannot let him go down this thorny path alone.  They’ll carry the OFA burden with him if they have to.  They can’t smile without Deku around.  These kids truly have become a family over the year.  It’s amazing to see.  Everyone’s like a brother and sister and it’s really nice to see.  I just love Found Family stories, guys 😭❤️
And really quick, I want to focus on my ❄️🔥 boy, Shoto, really quick.  As he’s thinking about Deku, he mentions how shocked he still is about Deku keeping OFA from them and how Deku thought just a letter would suffice.  He has this sad look on his face like he’s trying to say: “I still can’t believe my best friend hid this from me for so long.  Why?  Did he not trust me?”  That’s just my interpretation.  Still, I can’t imagine how upset Shoto must feel.  I think he still cares a lot about Deku enough to go out and find him, but he’s gotta feel some sort of betrayal.  More so than the other students outside of Bakugo because, again, Deku was essentially Shoto’s best and closest friend 💙😭
Endeavor is rightfully worried about letting the kids out in the state of Japan right now, but now Principle Nezu speaks up and praises the kids on growing up so well.  He’s also took into account Deku's feelings about his mission which is why he agreed to the team up.  Also, Deku’s still welcome back to UA whenever he wants thank god ☺️.  He’s a student who has to be protected.  There’s a cute panel of Uraraka and her mom crying happily after getting her acceptance letter too.  Not 100% why this is shown other than Acceptance Letter part, but it’s cute to see.  Maybe Ochako realizes how much Deku needs to be protected or something.
As for the refugees, Nezu had the security system strengthened in time for the Cultural Festival earlier, but they never used it before.  It’s call The UA Barrier.  God, how strong is this thing?  Is it strong enough to stop Shigaraki who was able to Decay the last barrier?  This seems like something that’ll be used in the final battle TBH.
So, Nezu trust the 1-A kids to bring Deku back home.  Which is exactly what they plan to do as all 19 of them enter Kamino in a badass full page.  I actually wasn’t sure if all 19 of them were there at first since I couldn’t find Shoto for the life of me, but then my eyes saw the BIG-ASS ICE WALL IN THE BACK AND I THOUGHT “OH THERE HE IS!!!” LOL 😂
The next panel actually does show Shoto with Momo as they capture the villain from the last chapter.  Momo politely calls Bakugo “Bakugo-san”, but Bakugo demands that he be called his insane hero name: “GREAT EXPLOSION MURDER GOD DYNAMIGHT”!  I CAN’T WITH THIS DUDE SOMETIMES WHY DO I LOVE HIM SO MUCH 💥🧡
Deku sees his friend and wonders why they came.  Ochako answers because that they were worried about him, but Deku tries to convince everyone (including himself) that he’s fine.  He’s obviously not and Bakugo calls TF out on him!  He even drops a good F-bomb for good measure.  Bakugo mocks Deku for trying to act like All Might and asks Deku if he can even smile right now.  I actually really like it that Bakugo’s calling Deku out on his shit.  I think Deku needs some good tough love right now to knock some sense into him.  Who would be better to do that than Katsuki Bakugo himself?
As Deku is trying to convince everyone that’s he’s fine (while still looking like a demon btw), there’s a small focus on Iida.  Actually, a few panels this chapter have focused on Iida.  Maybe he’s remembering the time Deku saved him back when they went up against Stain.  Deku saved him then so it’s now Iida’s turn to save Deku.  Also, Iida hasn’t gotten much focus lately and I really like his character, so I’m glad he’s being brought back to the forefront again.  Also, I like hearing Kaito-san’s voice in general so I’d be happy to hear him again (thanks for that one, Haikyuu).
The final spread shows Deku telling everyone to move away while Bakugo, Iida, and Ochako get ready to stop him.  IT’S DEKU VS. CLASS 1-A!!!  WE’RE ENTERING CIVIL WAR FOLKS!!!  Seriously, though, this is great.  I was thinking that it would be just Bakugo and a few other students finding Deku.  Instead we got the whole class.  And looks like that “helping hand” thing will happen later because we got a battle to fight first.
Bakugo’s become a damn fine leader and I love to see his growth every freaking time🧡! I like how Iida has his hand on Bakugo’s back to support him btw.  It’s weird that Shoto’s not in this page though.  He’s one of Deku’s best friends, so I would think he would be in this page along with Bakugo and his first 2 friends (Ochako and Iida).  Maybe Horikoshi’s saving Shoto for a more 1-on-1 conversation with Deku.  God, I hope that happens because I think along with Bakugo, Shoto deserves a good talk with Deku the most.
Honestly, I’m not sure who would win this battle.  I’ve been going through scenarios in my head on who would win, but I can’t come to a solid answer.  Class 1-A has 19 versatile Quirks under their belt and they have more energy than Deku to fight, but Deku still has 6 insanely powerful Quirks that he’s been practicing for a while.  The kids could probably win if they strategize enough and use Deku’s exhaustion against him, but again, Deku has OFA and multiple other Quirks.  If he could beat Lady Nagant, one of the best snipers around, he might be able to beat the 1-A kids.  He could just escape with Smoakscreen, Black Whip, and Float if he wants to really.  That would put 1-A on another wild goose chase.  There’s also Deku’s Danger Sense which will be a pain to deal with.  Also, Deku said that he’s as strong as All Might was in his prime with Fa-Jin and OFA combined.  Only AFO and Shigaraki were strong enough to take on THAT.  Plus, we still don’t know what the 2nd OFA Holder’s Quirk is yet.  Deku might use it in this battle.  God, I have so many theories in my head now.  I think this battle will be awesome, but ultimately, I want Deku to come home 😭💚

PAIRING ~ Aizawa x reader
GENRE ~ fluff/comfort
SUMMARY ~ Hospital visits are not fun at all, and when Aizawa got notice that his wife was in the hospital, he quickly came to you with no hesitation but with  overwhelming love and support.
WORD COUNT ~ 1.2k
Tumblr media
Aizawa Shouta is usually calm during frantic situations. From being a pro-hero for so long and a teacher at U.A, he had his fair share of quick-thinking during catastrophic events. With his rational, cool mind and his intelligent wits, he knows what to do during emergencies.
But today was not such a case.
…Your wife is currently at Musutafu’s General Hospital…
Those words just couldn’t get out of his head. He received a phone call lunch break while he was grading papers from yesterday at the teachers’ office and hearing those words made his heart raced immediately into fight-or-flight mode. Excusing himself from U.A during the middle of the day was probably one of the most irrational things he may have ever done (especially at the fact that he was literally homeroom teacher of U.A), and even though Principal Nezu has given him full permission to leave early with total understandable approval, one will still probably feel a slight embarrassed or ashamed…but to Aizawa, he couldn’t care less at the moment.
He just needed to see you. Now.
What if you are— He thought as he ran to the entrance of the hospital with brows furrowed and raven-black hair as messily as ever from racing through it with his fingers for the millionth time (a habit he does when he’s stress).
No. You are alive. Aizawa’s other side replied back. With a low grunt, he paced to the front counter, exchanged names and ID with the lady, and headed straight to your located room.
Heart pounding in his ears, Aizawa felt that he could crumble any second now as he slid the door to see you bandaged up around your ribs and arms. Your head was facing the other side, not noticing the door being opened.
“Y/N,” Aizawa croaked as he immediately walked towards you.
You turned your head to see your husband right next to you and your eyes widened in surprise.
“Shouta?” You exclaimed. “Why are you-“ You stammered as you realized that it is the middle of the day and he should be in U.A.  “I’m so sorry for disturbing you at work.”
Aizawa sat down next to you and grabbed your hand softly. “Don’t you dare apologize, Y/N. I- I should have been there…I could have-“
“It’s not as bad as it looks, Shouta. Really. It is just a small concussion and a few minor bruises on my ribs and arms, but nothing’s broken,” you said to him as you curled your fingers easily to prove it. But that didn’t seem to erase the distress on Aizawa’s face. “Hey, who was the one who was all bandaged up that Hizashi Yamada began calling you ‘mummy man’?”
Aizawa couldn’t help but smile at your teasing as he glided his hand to your cheek.
“Ok, we are not going to be comparing injuries.”
As Aizawa caressed your forehead, you felt warm at the heart. It may be selfish of you for feeling this given that your husband sacrificed his work time to see you, but you were so glad that he was there by your side at the moment. The scene from this morning’s incident couldn’t go away and you swelled up as you told him your story.
“The villain can copy people’s voices exactly. It was a mimic quirk,” you explained looking down at your bed so your eyes wouldn’t meet his. “After splitting up, I heard a wail from my teammate upstairs, and I quickly ran up to help her. But instead of seeing my partner, it was just the villain hiding behind one of the corners…and I was too late to notice…I couldn’t-“ you curled your fingers into a fist as anguished filled your lungs. “I couldn’t capture him and instead I was stupidly knocked unconscious.” You finished bitterly as you reflected back on your failure. Hearing your teammate scream in pain pushed your buttons to move, but instead of seeing your teammate, you felt an eerie presence behind you and all you could remember was the villain’s smug smile and a painful knock on your head.
You have failed in missions before, but if you had been a tad bit wiser or quicker, you might have sensed that something was odd immediately when you couldn’t find your teammate.
“Hey, look at me,” Aizawa said in a stern voice, popping you back into reality from your bitter thoughts. He lifted your chin up so you could see his face. “You didn’t do anything wrong. His quirk wasn’t revealed yet until you found out.”
“But I was so weak-“
“And what if that voice was your teammate calling for help? You did your best Y/N, don’t put all the blame to yourself. It’s okay to feel bad…but remember to let go.” His tone was deep and gentle. “And plus…failure doesn’t mean you’re weak because true weakness is holding onto that image of yourself and not moving forward.”
You were stunned to hear such powerful words coming out of your husband’s mouth. Sure, Aizawa has lifted your moods with his comforting supportive talks, but the gaze he held was full of sincerity that it not only soothed your fired emotions, but it also made you feel a strange surge of determination and hope.
“Thank you, Socrates,” you joked with a twinkle in you eye that made Aizawa’s lips twitch a smile as he rolled his eyes and leaned forward to give you a kiss on the forehead.
“Anytime.” He replied back softly with his half-lidded eyes more mesmerizing than ever.
Aizawa then headed out the door to come back carrying a bag of takeout with a familiar logo on it. “You must be hungry,” he said as he laid the bag on the table next to you, popped open the lid of the container, and fed you your favorite warm soup that you always order from that restaurant.
As Aizawa fed you (he refused for you to do any work, including lifting up a spoon with your bandaged arms), he began to talk to you about his day so far, making you laugh and smile as you listen to his stories. Sometimes it is just the mundane things—like talking about one’s day— that eases your mind and body back to a familiar state that makes you feel cozily content.
As you exchanged conversations and finished your meal, your eyes began to droop and before you could reach to grab the blankets, Aizawa swooped down and grabbed them for you.
“No. Let me,” he said ever so smoothly.
Gosh, he really was perfect.
You smiled warmly at him as you grasped the back of his neck and pulled him close for a kiss.
As Aizawa caressed your cheek softly, you noticed him still sitting next to you comfortably.
“Shouldn’t you return to U.A?” You asked.
Aizawa shook his head. “I’m staying here with you.”
You intertwined his fingers with his and hummed happily in reply as you propped your head comfortably on the pillow.
“Love you, Shouta,” you mumbled as your finally closed your eyes.
You didn’t see it, but Aizawa smiled at you with a smile that would probably make his whole class turn to stone in shock (and perhaps endless teasing from Present Mic), because it was just that beautiful.
“I love you too, Y/N. Always.”

Long Night in the Valley chapter 12
The scene shifted the moment Tempest woke up. They were outside, on a street in the middle of the city.  Storm clouds circled overhead.
Tempest stood in front of them, hands in her pockets, a bland expression on her face.
“So,” she drawled.  “You’re Nine’s friends.”
“Uh,” said Ochako, taken aback.  Right after Four had said she wouldn’t talk to them, this was disconcerting.   “Yes?”
“I’m his teacher,” said Aizawa, stepping forward.
“Yeah?  You think you’re doing a good job raising up little child soldiers?”
“Excuse me?” said Aizawa.
“You heard me.”  She shifted her gaze to Ochako, then to Todoroki and Iida.  “I bet Souma told you I wouldn’t be talking to you.”
“He did say something along those lines, yes,” said Iida, even as Ochako worked very hard to elbow him.
“I can follow why he’d think that,” Tempest said. “I spent most of my life fighting against the government.  Lord knows I wouldn’t have approved of him choosing a ‘pro hero’ to follow after him.”  She took her hands out of her pockets to make air quotes.  She was wearing brass knuckles.  “Whatever a pro hero is supposed to be.  Government lackeys.  Cops and war criminals with a different name.  I’m shocked he pulled a halfway decent person from the muck.”
“We’re not war criminals!” protested Iida.
“Oh, yeah?  I forgot, the Geneva convention was nixed, wasn’t it?  They had this big meeting and decided none of it applied to metahumans, and then, bam!  Everyone’s a metahuman, so it doesn’t apply at all, huh?  Neat, right?”
“What we’re doing now might not be what you’re used to,” said Ochako, “but it’s the way society works, now.”
“And we’re not killing people, like you did,” said Iida.  Ochako winced at his combative addition.
“I did what I had to, to get people out of the torture camps,” said Tempest.  “People like my little sister.  You know what they did to her?  They thought her power was just controlled by her voice.  So, they cut out her vocal cords.”
“They don’t do that anymore,” said Todoroki.
“You think a government like that is just going to stop doing things?  Without people making them?  Without being forced?”  Tempest laughed and looked up at the swirling sky.  “Maybe you do.  You’re just kids, after all.  But tell me this, do you think they didn’t know exactly what was happening to your family, Todoroki Shouto?”
Aizawa cleared his throat.  “What’s your point, here?” he asked.  “What do you want from us?”
Tempest looked back at Aizawa.  The coldness in her brown eyes made Ochako shiver.  “We could have kept you out,” she said. “That Suzuki idiot, too.  Do you know why we didn’t?”
“Enlighten us,” said Aizawa.
“Because the way we do it would cause irreparable brain damage.  We know, because we’ve done it before.  I thought it was worth it, but the others didn’t want to hurt ‘Nine’s friends.’”
“Are you implying that we aren’t Midoriya’s friends?” asked Todoroki, frowning.
Tempest huffed and wind whipped down the road, making Ochako cover her face.
“No.  To be honest, I’m not completely sold on Nine, either.  He wanted to part of the system so bad, and that’s not to mention—” she huffed again.  “At least he knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the equation.  You four, though… I’m stuck with Nine.  I don’t owe you anything and you’re causing all these problems.  What I want from you—”
Behind her, lightning snapped down from the sky.
“—is to prove to me you’re worth it.”
.
“Vlad, the police were able to find your car,” said Powerloader, holding his hand over the receiver of the staff room telephone.
“Oh, thank goodness,” said Vlad.  “I hate taking public transportation.”  He paused. “I mean, uh, did they find Yagi?  Is he alright?”
“No, they didn’t find Yagi.”
“Great,” said Vlad.  “So, ask them when I can pick it up.  Why are you making that face?  Did Yagi total it?  I bet he did.  ‘Symbol of Peace,’ my—”
“No,” interrupted Powerloader.  “Yagi didn’t total it.  Or crash it.  It was parked in an alley near the Musutafu entertainment district.”
“Where Midoriya had that fight with Hawks,” said Vlad, putting his head in his hands.  “It got wrecked by one of them, didn’t it?”
“No,” said Powerloader.  “It was parked in an alley.  They found it on a security camera.  It isn’t there anymore.”
“They took it again?”
“The League of Villains took it.”
“You’re joking.”
“I wish I was.”
.
The bus felt empty with half the class missing. The remaining 1-A students (plus Shinso) were all huddled together at the front, mooching off of the teachers mobile hotspots.
“Did my email go through yet, kero?” asked Tsuyu, leaning over her seat to look at Denki’s computer.
“Not yet,” said Denki.  “I’ve got all the pictures you guys sent arranged, but I wish we had more video material.  Ashido was the one with the most…”  He sighed. “Ashido, gossip queen, when you wake up I will apologize for all my comments about your hobbies.”
“I have some videos of Midoriya.”
“Trust us, Mineta, no one want your videos,” said Yaoyorozu.
“Huh?  Why not?”
“Tell us this.  How many of your videos are actually of Midoriya and don’t just have him incidentally in the background while you try to film girls.”
“None of them,” said Mineta, obviously not seeing why this was wrong.  “Why would I film Midoriya?”
“Mic,” said Midnight, “please remind me to sign up the walking lawsuit for some sensitivity classes.  How did Eraser miss this?”
“Unfortunately, Shouta is about as sexual as the average rock, so…”
“Remind me to sign him up for some training, too, then.”
“Will do.”
“Walking lawsuit?” asked Mineta.
Everyone else sighed.  Then Denki’s laptop pinged.
“Huh.  I just got an email from Principal Nezu.”
The adults, including Green Light, the bus driver, blanched.  Adults were bothered by the weirdest things.  In the end, Nezu was just a guy with a quirk, right?  A hero, even!  Principal Nezu, the Education Hero!
Okay, he’d scared Denki (Mr. Terrible Grades) a lot in elementary and middle school, but really.
(Okay, the crane thing at the Final Exam had been high-key terrifying, but he was trying to get past that.)
“Huh,” repeated Denki, having read the email. “That’s interesting.”
“What is it, my electric friend?” asked Aoyama, drapping himself sideways across his seat.
“Aoyama-san,” said Midnight, “don’t put your feet on the windows.”
“Principal Nezu sent me a link to an ‘All Might adopt a kid’ fanfiction, and it’s by—”
“Midoriya writes fanfiction?” asked Shouji, evidently surprised into using his real mouth to speak.
“That’s cute, kero,” said Tsuyu.  “It must have been before he met the real All Might, though.”
“No,” said Denki, “it was last updated just a couple of weeks ago, and, well… Midoriya didn’t write it.”
“So, who did?” asked Yaoyorozu.
“Not Nezu, right?” asked Jiro, winding her earphone jack around her finger.
“There’s no way, right, Kaminari-san?” asked Present Mic, nervously.
“Uh, no, no, it’s, uh, it’s All Might. According to Nezu.”
A beat of silence.
“What?”
Denki inserted his pinky into his right ear, trying to clear it.  Man, if the Bakusquad had been here rather than the quiet half of the class…
“Yeah, it says here that this serves All Might right for working on this during school hours?”
More silence.
“Green Light, the road!”
“Oops, sorry!”
“Hey, guys, are we sure that All Might didn’t, you know, kidnap Midoriya rather than the other way around?  Guys?”
.
Gran Torino, also known as Torino Sorahiko, was an active hero.  That meant late nights and late mornings.  He was also an old man.  A very old man.  Late mornings often turned into noons and afternoons.
Sometimes, during those noons and afternoons, he liked to ignore technology and the outside world for a good long while.  Maybe read the paper a little bit.  Or one of those terrible romance novels Nana had left him in her will.
Still, he was a hero, one wrapped up in something best described as a two-hundred-year-long shadow war, so eventually he did turn on the news.
Only to see Toshinori’s boy fighting Hawks on live television.
Not to mention Toshinori hanging out in the background with a shaved head.
And the ticker said UA student Midoriya Izuku kidnaps Symbol of Peace.
(Which was the dumbest thing he had ever heard, and under other circumstances, he would have been rolling on the floor laughing.)
Gran Torino was an old man, but, luckily, he only felt like he was simultaneously having a heart attack and a stroke.  His body was more than functional enough to place a not-at-all panicked phone call to one Tsukauchi Naomasa.
.
Tsukauchi Naomasa was incredibly busy.  That busy-ness was divided mostly evenly between desperately trying to find his best friend (who had evidently decided to make a hopefully brief foray into kidnapping teenagers) and trying to figure out what the commission was taking, because it had to be illegal.  Oh, and putting together a complaint that the commission was infringing on police prerogatives.
Honestly, he wasn’t sure how much traction that last would get, since pro heroes had been steadily gaining more and more responsibilities even as the police were losing both them and the power that came with them.  Not to mention Midoriya’s stunt with Hawks… Which… Naomasa just wanted to know why?  What had the point of that been?  On either side?
(Sometimes he wished he were friends with normal people.  Like… he didn’t know… an accountant, maybe?)
(Not that he would give Toshinori up for the world. Just, some normalcy would be nice, too.)
He took a deep breath, remembered what he always told Toshinori about stress, and took a mouthful of room-temperature coffee.
In that thirty-second period, two more problems presented themselves to him.
One, his cell phone began to ring, displaying the contact information for Gran Torino.
Two, his email softly pinged, and a message from Principal Nezu asking for any images or videos Toshinori might have sent him slid into his inbox.
Briefly, Naomasa considered ignoring both of them, but that wasn’t a realistic option and was irresponsible besides.  Contrary to his character.
He picked the lesser of two evils and answered Gran Torino’s call.
.
Garaki was going to have a mental breakdown.  This was fitting because his car had broken down.  Midoriya Inko was asking him if he thought that his ‘friend’ might come pick them up, if it was safe.  If his ‘friend’ had a car.
This last had almost sent him into hysterics. Gigantomachia in a car oh-ho!
Except it wasn’t funny at all, as this was almost certainly going to result in his death at the hands of All for One.  No matter that he considered the man his very dearest of friends, he was under no illusions about what All for One would do to him over this inexcusable error.
Perhaps he should just cut his losses and get one of the remote-activated noumu to come for them.
Then, inexorably and inevitably, things managed to get even worse.
.
“Stop the car!” shouted Tomura.
“But you said not to—”
“I know what I said!  Stop the car!”
Tomura twisted to see out the rear passenger window. Everyone else turned to follow his gaze, effectively blocking his view.
“Get out of my way!” demanded Tomura.
There was some awkward, half-hearted shuffling.
“Does that look like anyone to you?” Tomura hissed.
“Yeah!  Like the doctor!” said Toga.
“I’ve never seen him standing up, though,” said Spinner, dubiously.  “It seems out of character.”
“I didn’t know he owned a car,” mused Compress, rubbing the bottom edge of his mask.
“Not him!” snapped Tomura.  “The woman!”  He pointed angrily at the rapidly approaching woman with green hair, narrowly avoiding dusting Mr. Compress’s top hat.
“Eh?  What about her?” asked Spinner.
“Doesn’t she look familiar to you?”
“To be honest, everyone without mutation quirks looks kind of the same to me.”
“Someone without face blindness.”
“Oh!  She looks like Izu-kun!  Do you think that’s his mom?”
The woman knocked on the window of the car.  Twice, unhelpfully rolled it down.
“Thank you so much for stopping, we—Oh!”  She took a step back.
She apparently recognized them.  Joy.  He was going to unpack his feelings about this woman later.
“Hey, doc,” rasped Tomura, annoyed.  “What the hell have you been doing?”
“Ahem,” said Garaki, finally stepping out from behind the car.  “I didn’t expect to see you here, Shigaraki Tomura.”
“Because you blew us off and stranded us in the middle of Musutafu?”
“No,” said Garaki, in a way that absolutely meant ‘yes.’  “I knew you were resourceful enough to safely make it out of the city.”
“Oh, yeah?  Really?  You—”
Compress chose that moment to slam his face into the back of Tomura’s head.  Tomura steadied himself automatically on one of the car’s uprights, which cracked dangerously under his hand.  He pulled back as if burned.
When he looked up, the gremlin’s mother was halfway to the tree line with – What was that in her hand?
He looked back over his shoulder.
That was Twice’s goddamn mask.
Compress, for some reason, was also missing his stupid mask (and covering his face like the dramatic weirdo he was), and Toga basically had hearts in her eyes.  Spinner was being Spinner, and therefore ninety percent useless.  He was lucky he was fun to play games with.
How to make her stop?
“Hey!” he shouted.  “We have your son!”
This was a lie, as far as he knew (unless Dabi had snatched him on his way back; it wasn’t impossible), but, he was a villain.
The green-haired woman stopped and turned back, allowing Tomura a full view of her expression.
He decided that he regretted everything.
.
“Okay,” said Izuku, multitasking by letting Two pick the lock on the League’s safe, “considering Gigantomachia’s ability to track by smell and the questionable running water, we can’t just sneak out.  He’ll find us.  So… I think our best play is getting him to attack Shigaraki, and then when they’re both distracted, we run for it.”
Toshinori nodded and sighed.  “If only we had a giant jug of perfume.  We could throw it at his face and disrupt his ability to smell us.”
“I mean, I found a whole bunch of garbage a way back.  That isn’t perfume, but it does stink.”
“No, no, your plan is superior.  We’d draw too much suspicion if we attacked him like that. Perfume could be written off.”
“Yeah, I can see that.  Because perfume is a ‘nice’ thing.”
“Indeed.”
“It isn’t actually very nice to have it all over you, though,” said Izuku.
“No,” agreed Toshinori.  “It isn’t.”
The safe popped open.
“I won’t ask if you don’t.”
“Deal.”
“But, anyway, assuming we do get away, what then? Where do we go?  And—Wow.  The League of Villains is broke.  I almost feel bad.”
I was going to say Deika, but that’s too far, now, and we don’t know if Gigantomachia will come after us,” said Toshinori.  “Drawing him to a place full of civilians would be irresponsible.”
“Yeah,” said Izuku.  He frowned, pulling his head from the safe, and glanced out the window. “What about the Wild Wild Pussycats?”
“What about them?” asked Toshinori.
“They’re near here, aren’t they?  And they’ve got that whole complex, so, I mean…  I don’t know how they feel about us right now, but it wouldn’t be a terrible place to hide.  Would it?”
“I’d hate to bring all of this down on them as well,” said Toshinori.  “But… That being said, I don’t believe they’re actually there.  They were taking some time off because of what happened to Ragdoll.”
“That makes sense,” said Izuku.  “Should we take the risk?”
“I’m unsure if we have a choice, my boy.  We could try roughing it, but that puts us in a very vulnerable position.”
“And we can’t stay here, with the League.”
“No, we can’t.”
“Okay.”  Izuku sighed and started to thumb through the League’s collection of fake IDs, looking for something he could use.  “Wild Wild Pussycats it is.  We’ve got to convince Machia to attack Shigaraki, and… then we sneak out the back while they’re fighting.”  He shook his head.  “It sounds really unheroic when I put it that way.”
“Under these circumstances, I think heroic is the set of actions where no one dies.”
His mentor was right.  Izuku still felt weird about this, though.  (The pettiness was completely different.)
Not to mention…
He put the last of the fake IDs away and massaged his temples.  “They’re doing something weird in there,” he said.  “I’m going to check on them.  I might be out of it.”
“Don’t worry,” said Toshinori, patting Izuku on the shoulder.  “I’ll keep an eye on things out here.”
(Perhaps all of this could have gone unsaid, what with their connection, but saying things out loud made them easier to organize.)
.
“Hey!” shouted Izuku over the roaring wind. “Stop that!”
“Are you going to fight me, Nine?  All by yourself?”
“No,” said Izuku, somehow contriving to look down his nose at her despite the height difference and the fact that Tempest was floating several meters in the air.  “I won’t have to.  Because I have a secret weapon.”
Ochako could almost see Tempest roll her eyes.
“And,” shouted Izuku, “do you seriously think I just wanted to be part of the system?  Are you serious?  I wanted to help people.  People the system failed.  It isn’t like they’re responsible for the system either!”  He waved his hand to indicate Ochako, Iida, Todoroki, and Aizawa.
“I’d argue about your hobo teacher.  Is this your secret weapon?”
“No, this is, Great-Aunt Miranda.”
Tempest opened her mouth, then closed it again. The wind began to die down.  “I’m – I don’t know what the point of that was—"
“Neither do I!  What’s the point of this?”
“The point is determining whether or not you have people you can rely on, or a bunch of backstabbers who’ll hand you over to a government lab as soon as it’s convenient!”  She stabbed a finger at Ochako.  “She’s just in ‘heroics’ for the money!”  She pointed at Iida.  “He’s only here because it’s traditional for his family.”   She gestured at Todoroki with her other hand.  “He’s doing it mostly out of spite.  And who knows what your hobo teacher is doing this for!”
“There’s nothing wrong with any of that!” protested Ochako.  “You must have your own motivations, too!”
“She does!” shouted Izuku.  “Considering what they are, you have no room to be criticizing Iida!  Besides, you don’t even like me!”
“This isn’t about liking you or disliking!  You’re the—” Tempest visibly cut herself off, then took a deep breath.  She set herself down on the street.  “Knowing what we do now about certain things, a fourteen-year-old would not have been my first choice.”
“Excuse me!  We’re all sixteen!” said Iida.
“You’re sixteen now, it’s – The fact of the matter is that you’re children.  Naïve children.”
“Oh my gosh, you were younger than I was when you—”
“I was kidnapped and tortured—”
“I know, but why are you taking it out on—”
“By the government that you are trying to lick the boot of—”
“Did you see what they did to Suzuki?”
Ochako felt like she was spectating a very passionate tennis match.
“If it means anything,” said Aizawa, dragging himself out of the pile of rubble he’d been thrown into by the wind, “I’m just trying to keep my kids alive as long as possible.”
“Then expel them!  Stop them from becoming literal child soldiers!”
“I do,” said Aizawa.
“He does,” confirmed Ochako, who was well acquainted with Aizawa’s reputation.
“He really does,” seconded Todoroki.
“I used to see Tensei’s group chat, and every time he expelled someone…”  Iida shivered.
“Huh,” said Todoroki.  “Is that why you’re so… insistent about rules?”
“Of course not!  Rules are important regardless of why so many students were expelled during the first month of school!”
“So, why didn’t you expel these ones?”
“If you honestly believe the problem child wouldn’t have flung himself at the first villain he saw after that and dove straight into vigilantism, you don’t know him very well.”  He sighed, standing, and brushed dust and pebbles out of his tracksuit. “That goes for these three as well. They’re insane and it’s not my fault.”
“Isn’t saving others what heroes do?” asked Izuku, walking closer to Tempest.  Ochako wanted to run out and grab him, but this whole ordeal had just shown how useless that would be.  “No matter what?”
“Not no matter what.  This is why I…”  She shook her head, sighing.  “Not no matter what.”  She leaned forward, her hands on her hips.  “Don’t die. You do realize what will happen if you die, right?  I don’t have to spell it out for you?”
“N-no,” said Izuku.
“Besides which, I’m not a hero.”
“You saved people,” protested Izuku.
“And, as your friends pointed out, I’ve killed, too.”
“I know,” said Izuku.  “But you aren’t a bad person.”
“Lots of people kill during wars,” said Ochako, going to stand by Izuku, “and that’s what you were fighting in, wasn’t it?  I mean, I don’t know a lot about that time, but…”
“You wouldn’t.  It’s been over a hundred years.”
Izuku nodded.  “This fight isn’t doing anything, though.  None of us want them here if the vault opens.”
“The what?” asked Iida.  “The vault.”
“Hopefully,” said Izuku, “you won’t have to worry about it.”
“The fight did do something, though,” said Tempest.
“What?” asked Izuku.
“For one,” said Tempest, “it made you think. For the other…”  Her eyes flicked over Ochako and the others.  “Everyone you fight will have their own reasons. Remember that.”
.
As they walked down the street, storms still brewing overhead, Ochako kept catching glimpses of children in the alleyways and cross streets.
“Who are they?” she asked, unable to help herself.
“My sister and I,” answered Tempest, brusquely. Ochako, watching the back of the woman’s head, saw her twitch slightly towards one of the alleys.  “About the time we were taken.”
“Taken by who?” asked Todoroki.
Tempest laughed.  The sound was entirely humorless.  “That government you’re so eager to serve.  You’ve noticed, I hope, that my sister and I aren’t completely Japanese?”
“Yes?” said Todoroki.  “I’m not blind, after all.”
“Todoroki,” said Aizawa in a warning tone.
“Good for you.  Our mother was Japanese.  Dad was American.  We went back and forth to see the family.  Problem was, everyone on Mom’s side quirks.  We didn’t even realize it.  The government tracked the weather disturbances to our movements and raided our family reunion.  Never saw my parents again.  Never saw anyone, for that matter, except my sister and my aunt – Dad’s side – who tried to smuggle us out and got shot for it.  We spent four years in that hell before Ryuji rescued us.”
“You’re more open about this than I would have expected,” said Aizawa.
Tempest sneered.  “Why wouldn’t I be?  I’m a terrorist, and people only become terrorists if they want to make a statement. Which I did.  Trust me when I say this, Nine, if the hero commission took you into ‘custody,’” she spat the word like it was dirty, “you’d be in the same boat. What do you children think they do to all those high-profile criminals in Tartarus?  The ones that are held indefinitely in a private prison without even a show trial?”
“I know, Three,” said Izuku, far more calmly that Ochako would have been able to.  “That’s one of the reasons I wanted to be a hero.  It’s easier to change systems from the inside.”
“Not this system.”
“No,” said Izuku, “but then I had no idea this part of the system even existed.  They do a lot to hide it, after all.”
“Hm,” grunted Tempest, skeptically.
The buildings began to thin out, interspersed with wilderness.  The road rapidly graded narrowed into a one-lane road, then gravel.
“Is this normal?” asked Ochako.
“We have more control over our environments than the other ones.  You’ve noticed that only Eight and Nine had multiple versions of themselves running around and being confusing.”
“I didn’t do that on purpose,” said Izuku.
“Exactly.  Any of us could send an army of ourselves against you.  Only those two don’t have a choice about it.  Amateurs.”
“Shouldn’t they have had the same amount of time as—” started Ochako.  She broke off as a series of concrete walls topped with barbed wire rose up in front of them, scraping at the surrounding trees, shedding clumps of dirt.
The trees fell away, leaving a clear, baren space between the walls and the trees.  Slightly beyond the structure moonlight glinted off the surface of a lake.
“Well.  Welcome to Jinoshi Lake Camp, kids.”  Tempest turned, putting her hands on her hips.  “This is where I met Ryuji.  And…” She glanced up at the walls.  “This is as far as I go.”
“You aren’t going to show us where to find this ‘Ryuji?’” asked Aizawa.
“I promised myself I’d never go back there.” She jerked her head over her shoulder. “I’m not revisiting it for you.” She started walking away.  “Have fun.”

Blood of the Father (early Dad Might ficlet)
Disclaimer: we played fast and loose with the medical side of this story so please just focus on the Dad Might.  XD
Trigger warning for blood and injury.
As always, all the fondest gratitude to @my-favorite-aesthetics
Now then, on with the story!  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plit...plit...plit... As Toshinori stumbled into his office, his blood dripped down in a ghastly trail behind him.  He was quick to shut the door then hobbled to his desk. The bottom left drawer held bandages,, the bottom right cleaning supplies.  He pressed his hand against his side with a grimace, fumbling out paper towels and cleaning solution. Leaving the drawer open, he awkwardly wiped the tile floor, soaking up the crimson spots.
"...and your office will of course have luxurious carpet in whatever color you choose," Principal Nezu had chirped. "Tile," Toshinori had quietly but firmly replied. "Hmm?  But why?" "I imagine I may be called upon even while I teach here.  And it's imperative that no one know my secret, sir." "Well of course, but how would carpet--" The tall blond had burst into a sudden fit of coughing at that moment.  Embarrassed, he had fought to regain control then held his blood speckled hand out. "Tile can be washed" he explained, eyes elsewhere.  "Carpet stains." The principal had regarded Toshinori with his bright beady eyes then nodded.  "Oh I quite understand!" he replied amicably.
A few moments later, he was at his desk and glanced back to make sure he  got all the spots Toshi swore darkly. The trail was still there, thicker and darker.  Idiot, he scolded himself.  In such a hurry, I didn't think.   He quickly dug into the left drawer now, his internal anxiety clock ticking loudly.  Sure that any moment, someone would burst through the door. Hurry hurry hurry!
Izuku's footsteps were loud in the silent hallway as he headed to All Might's office as he did every day after school. Sometimes Toshi was there, sometimes he wasn't, but he was okay with Izuku waiting for him and doing some homework. Then they would usually work side-by-side, Toshi on paperwork, Izuku on more homework, the only sounds turning pages and the clicking keyboard. Unless I take a nap... can I afford the time? Will he let me? Well, he's never objected... I've never asked, strictly speaking, but. He shifted the backpack on his shoulders. I can at least take my shoes and jacket off, that'll be nice. He smiled softly, glad to have a place to be so comfortable and casual in. As he approached Toshi's office, he heard the small clicking and thumping of someone interacting with the desk in there. Oh, good, he's in. He tapped on the door, opening it a crack. "Hi..."
Toshinori froze guiltily as he heard the tap, watched the door begin to swing open.  Nononono shi--!! Then heard the voice and relaxed fractionally.  At least the kid already knows my secret.  But he doesn't need to see me like this. He grabbed at the bandage roll, hoping to cover his wounds before Midoriya saw them... then groaned as he lost his hold on it.  The roll seemed to almost gleefully bounce off the desk and tumble toward the boy at the door, unraveling like mad.
Izuku froze, eyes wide, heart spiking in his chest. Then... "...Dang. What happened to you?" He opened the door all the way, picking up what was left of the bandage roll and walking over to the desk, trying to keep his voice casual. I'm probably succeeding... don't overact it... or just don't be worried, I'm sure this happens a lot. Keep yourself a pleasant presence, yes....
Don't freak the kid out.  He may know your secret but let's not ruin his idea of heroes for now. "Runaway Quirk," he explained, accepting the limp bundle that had been a tightly wound bandage roll.  "This poor woman had something like massive porcupine quills.  She was having a bad day and I tried my best to help her."  His upper left arm was sliced in several spots, his right forearm a bit as well.  His dress shirt was understandably in tatters, barely hiding the puncture wound on his right side.  "Easily fixed.  Was just trying when you showed up."
Izuku winced sympathetically, hissing through his teeth. "Ooh. Yeah, that stinks. Can I help at all?"
Don't show weakness. Toshinori sat up stiffly, grinning.  "Nah, I should be fine!"  He attempted to wrap his upper arm in the bandages, grimacing in pain and growling in soft frustration as the bandage thwarted his attempts to control it.
"..." Aahh... "...Are...you sure?" Izuku's voice sounded somewhere between concerned and puzzled. Surely he can't be serious... does he dislike my help for some reason? Does he not think I can do it? "I know how to wrap a bandage, it's okay..." He tilted his head, eyebrows wrinkling.
Toshinori fought with the bandage a moment longer as what he had managed to wrap was already staining red.  "I don't want to trouble you," he replied.  "This is noth--"  He hissed sharply through his teeth as his wounds began to painfully throb in immediate disagreement.
"...Forgive me, but I think I'll be more distressed if I walk away," Izuku pointed out matter-of-factly.
Toshi's head began to ache in tandem with his wounds.  "Perhaps," he said with some difficulty, clutching his side, "you're right.  Some medical practice.  A grand idea.  All right, come here."  He gestured toward the bottom left drawer before wincing again.
Izuku knelt on one knee, opening the drawer. His movements became softer and more fluid in response to Toshi's strained voice. He looked up attentively, waiting for the next instruction.
"Antiseptic," he wheezed.  "Some thicker bandaging material."  He began to realize the steps he had skipped in his wasted haste.  "I'll need you to...ah..."  He looked guiltily at Izuku, the dark circles under his eyes very evident.  "This could get unpleasant.  Are you sure?"
Izuku’s eyes were soft, but expressionless, as was his voice. He nodded once. “I’m sure.”
Toshi gazed at the boy for a moment and felt something stir within his chest.  Gratitude?  Pride in this boy?  Sudden determination to be as brave as young Midoriya was being at the moment? Kid.... He opened his mouth to say something then shook his head, ears pinking.  "All right.  I'll need you to pour some of that antiseptic on that cloth and press it against these slashes on my upper arm.  I might get...ah...loud..."
Izuku’s jaw tightened for a moment, but he hoped it wasn’t noticeable. “Alright,” he nodded again, putting the antiseptic on the cloth as requested, then standing, ready to put it on. He paused, asking, “...Do you need anything to bite on? I usually use my sleeve, but...” he motioned to Toshi’s ragged business-shirt sleeve. “Well, that’s not gonna work.”
Toshi seemed to only half hear him, resigning himself to being about to destroy his fan's image of him.  "Hmm?  No no, nothing like that.  I promise you, if it were that bad I would be visiting Recovery Girl."  He rolled back the tatters of his sleeve and took a deep breath.  "Whenever you're ready."
"Well-- if you're sure... do you want a countdown or not?" No, wait, I shouldn't have said that, that's one sentence too many, don't keep him waiting-- but I can't DO it now, that'd be rude...
Toshi regarded his student with a gentle smile.  "That's thoughtful of you.  But no," he added, tensing up once more.  "Let's go ahead and power through this, what do you say?"
"Alright." He put the cloth on, being as gentle as he could.
Toshi's reaction was immediate.  His back arched rigidly and he bared his teeth in a dangerous scowl.  His eyes squeezed shut as cords stood out on his neck. Don't scream, it'll freak the kid out, don't scream don't don't don't
"I'm sorry," Izuku whispered quietly. I know it hurts a lot.
Tears stood in his eyes as he tried to smile.  "No, I'm sorry for making you do this," he rasped out.  "You don't have to continue if you don't want to."
You don't have to smile. "I don't want to stop." He kept it on the wound a moment longer, counting to ten in his head, then took it off. "That's good, right?"
Toshi's muscles untensed as he smiled for real.  Kid....!  "Yeah," he replied in a somewhat strained voice.  "Yeah, that's true."
"Oh you mean the--"  Toshi peeked at the bandage and grimaced at the amount it had soaked up.  "--uh, yeah, yeah, you're doing great.  Just a few more spots to get." Haven't even checked my back yet.
"Okay. Where next?"
"Up to you, really.  Plenty to choose from, heheheh--ow."
Izuku winced in commiseration again. "You got any pain relievers anywhere?"
Toshi's eyes grew wide.  "Oh YEAH!"  He almost slapped his own forehead... if it wasn't for the headache he'd surely give himself doing so.  "Dig in that drawer some more for me, please."
"Sure!" He crouched down again, rummaging about, looking for bottles. He held one up. "This one?"
Pain-bright eyes squinted at the bottle and Toshi nodded.  "That's the one.  Thank you, young Mi--" Weak. Torino's voice.  Toshi tried not to squirm.
Izuku read the instructions on the bottle and shook out a pill, holding it out to Toshi. "You need water?"
Can't even sort out your own medicine let alone bandage yourself. ...stop... Toshi rubbed his aching head, trying to listen to his student. Some great hero, tcha!  You shouldn't even need medicine.  If you had taken care of One for All like you were supposed to-- Stop. Young Midoriya asked him something but Toshi couldn't hear him over the relentless Torino gremlin running amok in his head now. --then you wouldn't even need help.  Back in my day--your MASTER'S day--we were actually made of sterner stuff.  But here you are, whimpering like  some lost abandoned puppy with a thorn in its paw.  Shaming every hero that came before you, shaming your Master-- "I said STOP!"
Izuku froze, shrunk against the desk, eyes wide. N-no you didn't!! What did I do wrong?? I'm sorry!!
Toshi looked up, his heart freezing as he realized he said the last aloud. Your fault. His breathing was ragged, his eyes remorseful.  "Forgive me," he mumbled.  "That was not directed at you, I swear."
Izuku's face morphed to concern, though his body stayed frozen. "Then-- who..."
And now he thinks you're crazy.  Perfect.  Just keep digging that hole, junior. Toshi stared at his hands miserably, wanting to talk but not wishing to burden so young a face with such adult problems.  "...water, please," he whispered, hating himself for shutting Izuku out.
"...Okay...." Izuku placed the pill in Toshi's hand carefully, making sure his hand was gentle when it brushed against the large, shaking one. Standing up from where he crouched, he set his backpack on a mostly-clear part of the desk, pulling out a partially-empty sports bottle and holding it out. "Is this good? I can go and get a cup from the break room if no."
"This is perfect," Toshi replied, really meaning it.
"Okay." Izuku smiled softly, more in his eyes and voice than his mouth.
Coddled by a child. Toshi placed the pill in his mouth and sipped water.  ...and what is wrong with feeling cared for? The Torino voice fell silent at that.
"You're still bleeding," Izuku half-whispered. "That's a lot of blood gone so far, are you sure you shouldn't be worried?"
Toshinori's face crinkled pleasantly.  "Kind of goes with the job," he confessed.  "I uh... can you ah..."  His ears blushed red now.
"Yeah?" He tilted his head. ...Keep going? Do something else? Oh dear, I should hurry... he's still bleeding, that's bad....
"I haven't really looked at my back.  Could you ah..." I need a new shirt. He pulled out more bandages and poured antiseptic on them.  "...check it for me while I get my arm here, please?"
"Yeah, I can." Izuku moved around to the back of the chair. "How did she get your back, anyway?"
"She was like that one blue character in your video games--the speedy hedgehog?  Mach?  ...anyway, she was moving kind of like that and I was shielding some bystanders."
Izuku blinked. "Ma--Sonic, but yeah." Didn't they have Sonic when you were a kid?? "--Oompf, yeah. That must have been really hard." Did you not get to play video games? ...Aaww, that's sad.... Right away, he noticed a large patch of blood staining a mostly-intact patch of shirt on Toshi's shoulder. "Okay yeah, there's definitely something there... I can't really get a look at it, though." He took a look at the rest of the ruined garment. "Your shirt is... pretty much done for, though..." He grimaced. "Do you think I should cut it instead of you taking it off?"
Toshi gave an embarrassed smile.  "Maybe.  I'm sure me trying to take it off would prove both futile and possibly pull some muscles I shouldn't be moving at the moment.  Ah, scissors are in the other drawer."
Izuku nodded (which Toshi couldn’t see) and moved to poke in the other drawer.
Toshi bit his lip.  The kid might have to dig some bits out, too.  That's asking a lot, even from someone as devoted as him.
Izuku pulled out the scissors, keeping them angled down and away from Toshi as he moved to the back of the chair again, then carefully and quickly snipping through the remnants of the bloodied shirt.
Toshi cringed and waited for the pull of shredded fabric from skin... completely unaware of the three inch piece of Quirk quill still embedded just below his shoulder blade, like some large splinter.
Izuku carefully snipped around it, leaving a small piece of fabric stuck with the quill in Toshi's back, his lips pressed into a thin line.
"How is it back there?"   A tiny snort of a giggle--oh no a pun ee hee!--quickly dissolved as he remembered he needed to remain professional. Also, laughing hurt. ...but it was a nice pun.  Maybe--does young Midoriya like puns?
"...nnh." Izuku let his head thunk onto the headrest of the chair. A muffled snort escaped.
Toshi heard the groan and began to apologize for the words...when he heard the snort.  Turning his head carefully, he looked to Izuku with faintly impish eyes.  "You caught that, huh?"
“I did.”
A smile was threatening to sneak out.  "....my apologies, I kinda like wordplay.  Must be a hero thing," he explained quickly.  "The quippy one liners and all.  Yeah!"
“I’ve noticed,” Izuku continued to snip, grinning. “And they’re all very funny...” he got stuck at the collar.
A warmth was flickering in Toshi's chest now, hopeful.  "Y-yeah?  ...oh hey, having trouble there?  ....wait, what is THAT?"  And he pointed the piece of fabric still lodged below his shoulderblade.
"...Ahm."
One eyebrow rose, the other scrunched down.  "Ahm?"
"That's a piece I couldn't get out. That, if her quills work like porcupine quills, I probably can't get out." His voice softened regretfully. "...All Might..."
Toshi's breath caught sharply in his throat, not at this new information but at the tone the boy used saying his name.  It sounded...concerned?  worried?  scared?
Izuku's voice was so low and small it was almost a whisper. "I don't... think I can do this properly. You've lost a lot of blood, n... I've never taken care of anything this serious before. Do you think...."
You IDIOT. The Torino voice was back. "Oh my boy, please forgive me.  I foolishly thought that I--" Admitting you screwed up? Toshi's gaze dropped.  "Let me call Recovery Girl.  Could you....could you stay with me?"
"Of course..." His hand curled carefully around an unhurt part of Toshi's arm. "I'm sorry. Believe me, I would have avoided her too if I could," he said with a small, lopsided smile.
"Don't get the wrong idea," Toshi replied firmly.  "If you are hurt like this--though I pray it won't happen often--please, please seek medical help as soon as possible."  He looked guiltily at his stained shirt tatters.  "I came here because I thought I could-- I mean, because her office is much farther than mine.  And people would have worried."  And discovered my secret.  "I don't want that."
"Yeah, I would. I don't think I could move much in the position you're in." He grimaced, finally managing to get through the shirt collar. "...Though to be fair, I think people would worry more if they saw you with infected old wounds... of course, I'm sure you didn't know how bad it was, given your surprise at... that." He gestured towards the quill, gently moving the shirt and discovering an entirely new form of panic. "...Ah."
"You keep making new noises that I'm not entirely sure I'm comfortable with," Toshi teased.  "What is ah?"
"Sorry. Uhm." Izuku looked a bit like a nervous frog, his voice squeaky. "I maaaaay have uhhmmmmm snippedatinybitofyourhairimsorry"
Toshi b l i n k e d.  Very.  S l o w l y. "HERE, EAT THIS!" "Ah," he replied in the same tone young Midoriya used, unsure how to respond to this new information amid all the rest.
"It's just a tiny bit, I promise! You can't even notice, it's just..." he gently brushed at the little snippings of Toshi's dandelion floof. "There's, ahm. Bits."
"Bits," Toshi squeaked. Did he shiver just now as the kid brushed the newly snipped bits?  Goosebumps speckled his arms and the warm feeling in his chest grew a bit more. I'm torn up, losing blood, getting a haircut while having a spine imbedded in me....and yet I'm ok with this.    ....??????
"You can't even tell, really... it's just-- I don't want it to get into the wounds... a-and of course it's your hair, I didn't mean to obviously but--"
Toshi snorted.  Then giggled.  The giggles became laughter.  And though it hurt, the laughter grew louder.
"aaAaAaaAA"
Toshi jumped at that, then winced in pain.  "Good or bad?" he gasped.
"--Huh? ...Oh. Sorry. I was just still freaking out that I cut your hair."
"Oh right!"  Toshi snorted again and then winced again.  "Doncha worry, my power doesn't leak out of my hair!  That was a one time thing."
"...Oh. That's good." Didn't even think of that....
Even so, Toshi tried to peek at the golden snippets.  "Oh right, I was calling Recovery Girl."
Izuku nodded. "I think it's safest, yes. I don't think I could pull that spine out without... well." He made a face. "Doing a lot of damage I'd rather not describe." He looked at the chair. And the floor. And his hands. "Also, you're bleeding Everywhere. And I'm not sure you can keep that up for long."
Toshi made a moue of distaste, glancing about the room.  "Hrhm.  True."  Is it bad that I'm super curious to see the spine?  How did I not even notice--wait.  ow.  OW.  Oh there it is.  O W.  frack. He held up one of his few unstained fingers to silence Izuku as he called the nurse's office.
Izuku nodded, placing the slightly sticky scissors on the desk. He watched Toshi make the call, wondering if there was anywhere he was supposed to be applying pressure until medical assistance got there.
👀 Maybe possible one more before the New Year please.
Izumi clutched Tomoe tightly, abandoning the train headed to the daycare to wait for the one heading to UA. She ignored the looks she got standing there in her UA uniform, clutching a little girl to her side, a headphone in her ear as she stared at her phone. Tomoe had been wearing a hooded shirt that Izumi took care in pulling up to hide her face, and as such Izumi felt safe to continue keeping an eye on the phone
“We brought them here from the future,” the leader of the group, or Izumi assumed he was, continued. The man was tall and bulky, his face covered in a white featureless mask like the others. “One of men is able to connect to a Quirk and reach out to grab the children the Quirk user has in the future. Do not look for him on a registry- he was presumed weak and useless.” The man’s voice sounded like a sneer. Izumi barely heard him begin his rant about overlooked Quirks and society’s fault. Frankly it was a speech she’d heard time and time again.
Instead she hyper focused on one thing. Connecting to a Quirk to bring forth the children the user had. All Might had given up his Quirk… to her. Those were her kids. She would have more kids then just Tomoe.
She stared at the screen, watching the kids. She could only tell the youngest was a girl since she wore a dress which… probably wasn’t great to assume but she’d default to that. The twins were harder to tell. And they also had stopped struggling to give the man speaking the most deadpan looks they could. Troublemakers, she could just tell.
“They had ID on them,” the speaker continued. He held up a collection of four wallets. One was black with purple tentacles covering it, the word ‘Tentacole’ on it. Two were identical, white ones with the face of Principal Nezu on them. The last was a green one with what looked like one of Izumi’s classmate’s faces on it, Asui she thought, the word ‘Froppy’ on it. Hero name? Probably.
The man dug into the green wallet to pull out an ID card, the same card everyone carried to identify their Quirks. Mostly they were used in case of an accident where someone was knocked out, and their Quirks could react. Now though, Izumi watched as the man showed the card to the camera.
A picture of the little girl with snakes for hair was on the card, a brilliant grin on her face. Her glasses still hid her eyes but the joy the girl had was obvious. Next to her image, words were on the card.
Name: Amajiki Noriko
Age: 6
Quirk: Medusa
WARNING: Do not remove glasses. Quirk is uncontrollable.
Noriko? What a pretty name.
Let’s summarize what happened
Ok, so the MHA fandom kind of exploded last night, and I wanted to take a second and sort out what’s going on. I’ve seen a lot of misinformation spread based on early assumptions made last night, so I’ll walk you through what happened. I was awake and saw everything unfurling live, so I figured this would be helpful for people who just woke up to see... well everything.
(Spoilers for the leaks below, duh)
~ The Timeline of Events ~
So last night, at 11:02pm, Atsushi on Twitter posted “Big time chapter this week”, which was our first hint that something big was coming. We had no idea what we were in for.
Tumblr media
9 minutes later at 11:11 they tweeted “My Hero Academia CH306 Title: ‘Opening Of Final Chapter’”. This sent people wild because of the ominous wording of the title. However, this is not the official title, and we likely won’t know the actual title for a few days. With that in mind, many people recalled how in December 2020, Horikoshi had mentioned that MHA was coming to an end soon. This title seemed to imply that this would be the the beginning of the final arc.
However, since we had no context of what actually happened in the chapter yet, a lot of people misunderstood and took this to literally mean “the final chapter”. I saw a few people last night thinking that we only had 2 or 3 chapters left, which I don’t think is the case. (I’ll discuss this more later)
Tumblr media
10 minutes later at 11:21, they posted “‘It's April. Deku-kun has left Hero Academia. Deku: It's a big Villain.’” Once again, with no pictures and no context to go on, a lot of people started making assumptions. A few people thought he went full on villain, others thought he was deliberately abandoning his friends. Some thought he gave up on heroes, while others guessed he was doing it to keep AFO off his trail. Some interpreted it as “he left UA because he didn’t want to be there any more” and others interpreted it as “he left UA because he wants to handle this alone”
Tumblr media
5 minutes later at 11:26 they said, “Deku was discharged from the Hospital and then he left UA. He left a letter for his friends, who were all shocked reading it, Uraraka is shocked too.” The letter was posted shortly afterward, but since we didn’t know what it said at this point, a lot of people took this as confirmation that Deku just left in the dead of night, or possibly just disappeared from the Hospital and left the letters as explanation.
Tumblr media
7 minutes later at 11:33 we get “In the last 2 pages, Deku is shown standing over something and looking down on the city, he has a bag and also he’s wearing torn/short version of Torino’s cape (it seems). In the next panel he has that kind of depressing look and he says “It’s a big villain”” At this point, we had no idea what this panel actually looked like. Many people, myself included, weren’t sure what the “it’s a big villain” comment meant, but now we get it (he sees destruction happening below and comments how it’s a big villain attacking)
Tumblr media
From there, we got a few posts about Endeavour, but none of these leaks caused the same stir as the Deku ones. However, it’s worth noting that the first image spoilers were posted at 4:33am, 5 hours after the last Deku leak.
The full chapter summary wasn’t up until 8:34am, at which point we were able to calm down slightly. However, a lot of the damage had been done, and a lot of false rumours had started spreading around the tag.
~ Clarification ~
First: we have no actual confirmation (as of now) that Deku is a vigilante. People can make assumptions, and it’s a logical leap since he’s no longer associated with UA and is instead working (seemingly) alone. Personally, I agree that he’s still out there doing “hero” work, but I’m waiting for more confirmation before I get my hopes up.
Second: We don’t know if he’s actually given up on hero society. I’ll be honest, I have no idea where this one came from. Deku looks a little sad in the last panel, but as far as we know, there is no reason to believe that Deku gave up on being a hero. The implication is that he left UA to protect his friends (because AFO could hunt him down) but I think a few people missed the nuance and instead took it as “Deku left UA because he doesn’t want to be a hero”. No. We don't know that yet.
Third: We don’t know how his departure from UA went, and we don’t know who he told. While the letters to his classmates were probably all they heard form him before his departure, it’s very possible that he actually explained the situation to Nezu and All Might and stuff before heading out. People made a lot of jokes early in the night about Deku just peacing out, but in reality we still don’t know how it went down.
Fourth: We don’t actually know how much more MHA we’ll have left. Like I said earlier, Horikoshi mentioned in December that MHA would be coming to an end soon...
Tumblr media
... but that doesn’t actually tell us how much time we have left. My personal prediction is that this will simply be the final arc. That means we could still have a solid year of content before the finale. Alternatively, I’ve also seen people guess that there will only be a few chapters of “My Hero Academia” left, before switching to a different title because it’s no longer set around a school. Both are based on nothing more than personal opinion, and we’ll honestly just have to wait to see what happens.
Fifth: We don’t know whether he’s actually in America. This theory comes from the fact that the gargoyle he’s standing on resembles the one on the Chrysler Building in New York, but as of now there is no indication that this is actually the case. People have also drawn comparisons to how All Might went to America, and while this is all good speculation that may be confirmed in the upcoming chapters, it is not confirmed in 306.
I hope this clarified some of the confusion. Remember to wait until the official translation before jumping to any conclusions, and as always, support the official release when it comes out!
