Heyoooo, I'm not sure who you would write for the most but I'm interested in little sibling head cannons(as in reader is Thier little sister/brother/siblings)with the Toyko debunkers cast. I wanna do Jin, Sho and Alan the most. But Lucas and Rui would be the most interesting considering what's going on with them. If you do more the rest is up to you ❤️ thanks a bunch - 😼anon
Siblings Dynamics
Jin:
Jin has a younger sister that came to Darkwick in his 3rd year. His sister is known to be a lot like their mother. Who has sadly passed away. The passing took a toll on both of them. Jon doesn’t look like it, but he cares a lot for his own sister. Secretly Jin told Tohma to watch over her and assist her if needed. He also told Luca and Kaito to be her friends and make sure that her wellbeing is taken care of. Luca and Kaito were already her friends, but now they took it more seriously. One being knightly and the other scared to death about Jin’s wrath, if anything goes wrong.
Jin's sister is complete opposite of him. A air head, adorable, a bit reckless, but in some ways. They are almost the same. Both are kind, loyal, and thoughtful. His sister tends to light up the room with her smile and it attracts a lot of attention. Since she’s a bit of an air head. It leave her with a bit of trouble. Some of the students in Frostheim, might try to gain favors with being her “friend.” Tohma have often stepped in as an interference. Tohma would remind her about being careful with being too trusting. Kaito and Luca tried their hardest to make sure they look after her and keep her out of trouble. Kaito ego expands and Luca still remains the same. Though all of them as a trio makes anything an adventure. Jin’s sister would often play outside with them and Jin as well as Tohma would watch from his room. It makes him happy that there’s a smile on her face after loses they have suffered.
Sho:
Sho has a younger brother. A brother that looks up to him a lot. Maybe more so than with the oldest who happens to be a professor at the school. Sho’s brother wants to have fun and still be respectful. He really wants to be like Sho. Might not be a fully good idea considering who Sho hangs out with. Leo has often teased Sho’s little brother for trying to hard. Sho never liked that and told him to cut it out. Which Leo rolls his eyes and scoffs. When at home, Sho would cook and clean. His brother would often help out when given the chance. After his brother got a little older. Both took turns cooking when at home. Both would also separate the chores around the house. They have a close bond and even look after one another. Though Sho isn’t too sure that he’s a good role model. Often told his brother that he shouldn’t follow his lead. Instead, he should be his own person and try to be a better man than him. This makes Sho’s brother admire him even more.
Both have some similarities as well. I think most siblings do. Sho’s brother is more on the quiet side as well as a respectful person. Even though he’s quiet and respectful. He doesn’t like confrontation that much either. Maybe a bit of the scaredy cat. But tries his hardest to face his fears. Doesn’t like Leo that much, hates the fact that Leo places blames on his brother as well as throwing Sho under the bus for his own gains. It often makes him made that a “friend” would do that to his older brother. Yet never had much of a back bone to stand up to Leo. Not yet at least. Sho’s brother would often work out and exercises when given the chance. He’s actually a bit more buffy than his own brothers. But under those muscles. Is a adorable sweetheart of a brother.
Alan:
Alan has a younger sister. Super protective of her and often checks up on her. A total worrywart. Luckily for him, his sister isn’t in the same dorm as him. She was in Jabberwock, tending the animals with Haru and flowers with Towa. She would also play games with Ren too. It’s a simi safe place. Better than Vagastrom dorm, that her brother is in. She would often come over to talk to him when she had time. The students in the dorm didn’t know that she was Alan’s sister. She was being hit on and when she told them that she wasn’t interested. This cause a bit of a problem. Alan steps in and saves her. Telling them that she was his younger sister and they are to NOT cause her any problems or touch her.
His sister is a sweet heart, with a quiet voice. Which is why Alan is extremely protective. He would often teach her how to protect herself and what to do in a dangerous situation. He would make her repeat what he had told her over and over. Just to make sure it sticks. He would also tell her to not be afraid of hurting any attackers. Fully trust Sho to be around her. Not so much with Leo. It’ll probably take some time. Leo would often tease her to make her blush and Sho would tell him to knock it off. She has started to really like Sho, but isn’t sure if it’s more than friends or just some deep admiration. Alan would not noticed.
Luca:
I can see him with a sister. He already have a twin brother. Luca is also extremely protective. They lost their brother, and he isn’t risking losing another sibling. He would often ask if she is okay. This makes her feel a bit suffocated. Though she understands why, she would often reassure him that if anything happens. He’ll be the first to know about it. Both are loving towards one another. They would look out for each other, take care if one got hurt, one got sick, didn’t eat yet, and etc. They don’t hang out much but they do text constantly.
She’s a bit like him. She thinks about others, loyal, and kind. She’s a bit of a lone wolf though. She doesn’t have many friends and often spends her time drawing or listening to music. That or she goes on a walk around the campus when she’s bored. She has met Kaito, thinks he’s a coward. When Luca got into a fight with Sho. She was worried, she asked him if he had any injuries, luckily he didn’t. Luca’s sister knows about his habit of losing sight of his perspectives. Often when they were little and mean kids picked on her. Luca and his twin would fight them. She loves her brother(s), is often concerned about his obviousness to read the room and his recklessness. She hopes that in the end. They can find their brother and go home.
Rui:
Rui has a younger brother and sister. They are twins! Both of them have the same hair color and eyes as him. The boy twin is more quiet and calm. The twin sister is rowdy and loud. Rui often had a hard time getting the younger sister to calm down and go to sleep when they were smaller. Nothing has changed all that much. Rui would still make their food, pack their lunches, checks up on them, and act motherly towards them. If they got into trouble for pulling pranks again. The school would call for Rui. Poor Rui. After the meeting with the school staff and the twins. Rui would scold them again.
When they had heard about their brother being cursed. This broke their hearts. They loved hugging him when they were younger and they still would if they can do it now. They can’t touch him now due to the curse… Rui still cheers them up by inviting them to play card games or video games with him at his dorm. When they get there, they see their brother overworked. So they chipped in to help. They wanted to make things easier for their big brother since he does a lot. Not only for them, but his dorm mates, friends, and classmates. Rui feels extremely happy to have them here. It’s not the best situation, but it does make it easier on him on some cases. Once his curse is broken. He’s definitely giving them a huge hug.

Not a request (unless you want it to be)! but imagine avatar!reader showing neytiri a little girl on girl action (scissoring) cause Jake's been too busy with the whole clan leader thing to please her 🫣
this had to get its own little moment
a/n: I love her I had to write this when I got it something about her makes me swoon. She has so many layers and she is my queen. I finally formatted it. Not proofread yet oop
pairing(s): Neytiri te Tskaha Mo'at'ite x f!Reader, extremely brief Jake Sully x f!Reader
word count: ~2k
warnings: NSFW / MDNI Caught, Scissoring / Tribbing, Switch x switch couple, Pregnant Neytiri bc she’s a milf it’s more so a plot point then focused on, Praise kink (receiving), Neytiri doesn’t really know what she’s doing but your enthusiasm makes up for it
Neytiri could not bring herself to understand why she was sitting here complaining to you. Her life had finally found some semblance of peace. She knows that she should be thankful for the way her people have risen from ashes; for having such a strong competent mate and a mother who knew what was best for her people. She was thankful still had a family to support her and her beautiful planet that was in the very least safe for now.
She should be at ease but she’s not. She’s frustrated and antsy. Maybe it was because she was pregnant enough to be left behind in things she felt needed her attention- or maybe she did not actually care about all of that and the sun was just too hot. She was no sure what it was but she couldn’t shake all the bitter moments that had accumulated throughout the week and led her to this very moment. Sat lounged out by a stream not so far from the village enjoying lunch with her best friend. Though she loved your daily walks, even your company did not soothe the bubbling anger she ultimately has concluded boiled down to Jake.
“All he does is work!” She snaps at you plopping a round berry in her mouth.
For a second you flinch as if you’re the one she’s scolding for neglect. You’re thankful you’re not at the receiving end of her sour mood as she rants about how annoying her day has been.
“Well, he’s dealing with a lot of guilt I’m sure. Men think too much and get stuck in their own brains.” You shrug as you finish peeling her fruit for her, trying to ease her foul mood while not throwing the friend you greatly admired under the bus.
She thinks it’s sweet how you’re always looking to help her, and how loyal you have been. Almost to a fault.
Jake had given you the order to look out for her and you did the most to make sure you met his expectations- like the good little ex-SEAL you were. She thought it was cute that you were so eager to please. Listened to orders so well.
“I’m dealing with the weight of his tsawl txìm ‘evi,”
Big ass kid. Her joking comment makes you bark out a laugh and throw your head back as you swat at one of her sore legs that lay across your own lap and legs.
“Better hope he doesn’t have his father's big ass head,”
You make her laugh as you point to your skull to annunciate the comment. She likes that she doesn’t have to act properly around you. She didn’t have to be nice. She felt she could act her age. Act like she wasn’t Tsakarem. That you were not an alien who had lived a whole over life before you chose this. That her non-native mate wasn’t tasked with rebuilding the world around her with the help of her mother while Neytiri was forced to focus on being pregnant.
She thought that preparing for motherhood would leave her in isolation and drive her into a solitary pit of despair, lost in her own thoughts- but yet here you were. Like her little shadow. Always there to keep her from feeling so alone. You were a good listener too. You didn’t talk much- would just let her ramble about however she felt so she didn’t have to keep it in and go insane with grief. It’s why she trusted you so much.
“I’ll never have another child again,” She rolls her eyes as she wiggles her sore calf over your lap again,
“Please; continue.”
You smile softly at her, returning to rubbing her swollen calf and thigh that you had previously neglected to peel a particularly rough citrus-like fruit for her.
She can talk about anything to you, and you’ll nod and joke along because ultimately she’s your best friend. The best friend you’ve ever had. You think she’s interesting and you care about the way she feels. That’s probably why she likes you so much right now. Your attentive hands on her anyways.
She tries to occupy herself with the citrus that dances across her tongue but all she can feel is the pad of your thumb massaging her swollen thigh.
“Let me sit up so I can get your other leg and hips.”
Her tail flicks as you move past your leg to sit on your knees. She doesn’t mean to seem so annoyed in her actions. She is not mad at you. She really just hates Jake right now. For how tired he is. How busy he is.
He always makes it up to her but had he not been so busy she wouldn’t have been so enticed by the swift movement of your hands against her sapphire skin.
She can swear you’re teasing her on purpose. The way you prop yourself on your knees and annunciate the pretty dip of your hips. Neytiri can’t help but shift and open her legs a bit more. To give you more room between her. She’d say she was getting comfortable but she isn’t stupid. She knows you know it too. You’re terrible at controlling your body language. It’s almost rude how quickly your tail twisting behind you and the way your ears are pointed right towards her.
Your nose crinkles in concentration as you move her leg to rest on your full hips while your thumb instantly moves to push a firm long stroke up the side of her thigh. The feeling shoots across her nerves and she sighs at the alleviation of pain in her hips. It almost makes her forget how much you had turned her on.
“You are so blessed,” She’s shocked at how quickly your palms pressed running across her sore muscles has begun to ease her tight hips and her sour mood, “You’re doing so well,”
She’s thankful you’re so easily appeased. Tail swishing behind you as you rub where her leg met her hip. She’d encourage you the rest of the day if it meant you didn’t stop.
“I have one order, gotta keep you from killin’ Jake during the day,” a giggle falls from your lips.
You lose good girl points at the mention of Jakes name and for the fact that you tease her for her temper. It is Jakes fault she was so irritated today. You knew that. It was obvious how needy she was for intimacy. Jake was as perfect as he could be to her- he was just so busy. You know she didn’t have the heart to complain to her mate that she was horny and lonely when he was carrying such a burden. You could chalk her well-hidden desperation up to her being pregnant but your face flushes at the thought that maybe she just liked you a little bit. You can’t stop your silly smile at the fact that her hips relax even more when you switch over to her opposite leg. One leg lay lazily on the ground while your knead your hands against her flesh.
“Am I helping the pain a little?”
And though you’re asking her a question you’re not looking up at her from your position between her legs. Too busy watching your hands paw at her swollen hips and thighs.
You’re sweet to her. It’s why she controls the motion of her tail snapping up off the ground to smack right up against what she hopes is just as needy and wet as she is.
You yelp and it makes her laugh and though you’ve been half purposely touching her in the hope she’d recuperate your touches you’re almost shocked at the outcome.
“Why are you wet, huh?”
She hopes her words work you up but the fact that your eyes shoot to hers for only a second before looking down to her core ignites her own needy breath.
“I- uh… I dunno I haven’t had sex since I’ve been on earth… like seven years ago.” It sounded like a long time- five years and some months of those if those years were actually getting to Pandora- and it felt like a nap to you. You still miss it obviously- a little too much as she reaches her fingers to caress your wrist and it has you humming.
She laughs at you of course. Making fun of you even though she knew only the rudimental outside of Jake.
“You’re also very pretty,” your quick addition accompanies a charming smile.
She can tell you admire Jake so much at this moment. You match his same entranced pretty smile. Wide eyes looking all too eagerly up at her.
“You’re very pretty too,”
Your thumb runs under the lining of her tweng as she compliments you back and you practically purr at the soft and wet feeling her lips greet you with.
“Does it hurt here too?” You ask her, and though it’s half in jest she nods.
“Terribly. You’ll have to help me.”
You’re a bit nervous when she reaches her hand down to untie her bottoms. it’s not until her other hand touches your hip that you snap out of your own thoughts.
“I’m afraid I’m a bit clueless though,”
There’s that pretty charming quip in her voice that reminds you she is a princess and it makes your legs clench but ultimately calms you down over the fact that she cannot really judge your performance without comparison.
“I can show you,” you didn’t know why she made you nervous; “It’ll feel good for both of us,”
She just grins and pulls at one of the strings of your bottoms that you’re cursing for being as intricately worn as they are.
She can’t help but dance her hands down your exposed skin and admire how excited you seemed to be at the prospect of relief.
She’s not even all that pregnant yet and you’re still so gentle as to carefully position your leg to avoid her.
You sit against her a little too quickly, plopping down flush against her own swollen slit out of pure excitement before jolting back up slightly. Just allowing your swollen clits to touch.
It’s not that Neytiri didn’t figure this is how women who mated with other women slept together- but no one ever talked about it. She had heard whispers of women preoccupying themselves during heats, but she was clueless as to how it actually happened or how it could possibly feel satisfying.
Then, however, you started rocking your hips forward a little. She finally got the appeal of the feather light weight you started with. How enthusiastically and quickly you rub yourself against her is hypnotizing. She feels bad for being so into the way your dragging across the wetness between your bodies considering she has Jake but she can’t ignore how nice this is. She wonders which one of you is responsible for the mess- she can believe it’s her- it wouldn’t shock her in the least- but she hopes it’s you. Even though your eyes have already started to close as you nestled your face into her leg you used to balance yourself and your hip's movements stutter and messily ruin the steady build towards both of your orgasms every time you feel too close to cumming.
The feeling of you gliding your warm cunt against her swollen clit has her sighing in lenience. If your careful hands rubbing at her hips and thighs didn’t alleviate the pain she felt before then the way you forced her to focus on the desire to cum has cured it.
“Mmm. You’re doing so good for me- ya you’re right- fe’els good.“ she choked on her own pant as she tries to sit up slightly so she can touch your tail, “Go faster please,”
One hand plays with your nipple as the other uses her outstretched legs as an anchor to grind yourself down onto her at the speeds she requests.
The fact that you turn to look at her but instead get distracted by the oscillation of her full breasts has her hips rolling up to meet you.
“Oh-ohhhh,” and she feels your fall forward at her intrusion as to brace yourself onto your hands. She’s so thankful you were so flexible. So easy for you to loosen your hips open a little more and fuck yourself down onto her.
She felt so good. So much better than what you thought dragging your clit against hers would feel like. You get why Jake folded and betrayed everyone so easily. Her nails running across your thigh or back haphazardly in conjunction with the way you feel your clit slot up against hers makes you shutter.
You really hope you aren’t setting a bad example. You hope she’s feeling just as good as you are, it’s hard for you to turn your head to face her so you focus your energy on making sure your grind down accurately.
You try not to be sloppy- you do the best you can even though she whines and makes you want cum before she could.
You thank Eywa when you feel her nails dig into your hips and the gush of her pussy against yours.
Your, “Oh fuck- fucking hell,” is less ceremonious then her moans but you can’t help it when the added slickness of her orgasm makes it all too easy to trib yourself down against her and chase your own high.
You thank divine timing for finishing just in time for your heart to drop into your stomach at the sound of someone crossing the tree line,
“Huh, woulda’ get a load of this,”
It is a gruff masculine voice that you now vividly recall giving you the order to watch out for his wife- not scissor yourself between her thighs and fuck her.

Misa no Uta is an underrated masterpiece that changes Misa's whole characterization fr fr
Misa no uta is one of the most compelling moments in the entire Death Note series, within one of the most compelling episodes of the series (if not just outright the best).
To cement his return as Kira, Light plans to kill L. Light requires Misa to be at risk for this, throwing her under the bus if the plan fails and REM weren’t to save her but guaranteeing the deaths of L and REM both if it succeeds, and it's very likely to do so.
As Misa walks the streets of Japan, she sings this song to herself and the audience that immediately stands out, being the sole musical number in the series.
The song is about her relationship with Light and Kira, her place by his side as the loyal follower turned God herself. It’s about love, trust, fanaticism and the danger of allowing yourself to know something for a fact or to choose the version of reality that provides you the most happiness, whether it’s the full truth or not. Her powerlessness in the face of what he is is not something she’s ignorant to, and the ways he continually takes advantage of this drain her of life a little further everyday, and yet she wouldn’t give it to anybody else. How could she? She is indebted to him, in her eyes.
“Hold my hand in the dark street for if you do I know that I’ll be safe” Kira saved her. He ensured the death of the man who killed her parents and nearly killed her in one of those dark streets she so fears. Misa never recovered, she ran open armed into the belly of the beast before she could ever begin to do so. By the time the consequences of her actions became clear, and Kira's nature was startlingly apparent, it was too late to attempt to stop this. So she lies to herself, and justifies this all with the guarantee of safety she's been provided.
“Even if I'm far away and alone, I can be sure that you’ll find me there. This, I know.” and this is the indisputable fact of the matter, isn't it? That even if she forgets, surrenders the Death Note and lives her life, it is simply the illusion of control. She knows she’ll be back, she knows she’ll be brought to Light’s side again by herself with no memories of what he turned out to be. Then, even if she isn’t? What becomes of her? Surely Light would never let her simply walk away, and she knows that. So the lies she tells herself are cemented by that, and her fanaticism surrounding Kira becomes a pillar of who she is. For if that is lost, if she doesn’t believe that he is attempting to achieve good anymore, then how can she love him despite the way he treats her?
“You draw me close for a while, so quiet, you tell me everything” at the start they operated somewhat as equals, with Misa having the upper hand of REM on her side. Light does keep her informed, does treat her as an equal (outwardly, at least). Yet once they are imprisoned, once the tide shifts entirely, this changes inalterably and in a way Misa has no time or opportunity to change.
“If i forget what you say then you’ll come to me and tell me again, yes you’ll tell me once again…” This once again is cementing her handling of the aftermath of this shift, her now regaining her memories entirely and seeing the forest for the trees. There is no escape for Misa, and any ticket out was lost before she could do a thing. REM will die, though I don’t know if Misa knows of this at this point. I'm certain she couldn’t have been fully ignorant to it being highly likely, and she will serve Kira until her dying breath. She has made her peace with that long ago, deciding it’s for the greater good and serving the life debt she believes she owes him.
But then there’s the question. The one plaguing her throughout the rest of the series, I’d say–The truth that she continuously makes the conscious decision to avoid looking in the face.
“But what happens when I know it all, what should I do after that? What then?”
This is where the fact that this scene has played out as almost a funeral procession, ending with her standing on the very rooftop where she will eventually meet the answer to her question, cements this as an eerie, gorgeous, perfect scene. Misa will have nothing to live for, is the answer. If all she has done has been in the name of helping a madman who not only doesn’t love her, but actively dislikes her? If this life debt was unwanted, if Kira wasn’t all that good at all? If he’s not a god, if her parents were simply a number amongst the many hundreds of thousands Light kills… then why did she survive any of it? Why is she still here?
I’m also fascinated with the choice to have at what point in time this scene takes place in, be somewhat impossible to fully discern. This is the same outfit, the same sunset, the same ledge that Misa’s story ends with. When she kills herself at the end of the series, is that moment one we’ve long ago witnessed already? Is this meant to indicate that anything of Misa truly died then? Or is this the moment she reflects upon when she makes that fateful walk, years from now? Is this the moment she wishes she could go back to? To change?
In all reality, I truly wish that more of the intricacies to Misa's character that are implied heavily would've been made somewhat more text than they ever are in canon. Many people's opinions of her character are somewhat justified, although I think that some of the way that people react is a tad misogynistic at times as well but the way she exists as a woman in service to Light who wants for nothing and lives for nothing else is, too, in it's nature a misogynistic thing. I think that Misa is fascinating as a character and would be infinitely more fascinating if the subtext heavily implied in this scene were made more canonical than it was.

I've been seeing lots of takes lately with people feeling hatred towards part 2 Speedwagon for being a greedy capitalist who probably exploited people and done some shady stuff to become wealthy because there was '''no way he could have become rich just from oil money'''... thoughts?
it's so disappointing to see some bad takes about the Speedwagon Foundation being some "acshually nasty organization" and about Speedwagon supposedly becoming some heartless rich man popping up again. And like, I shouldn't even be surprised at this point considering how the average "Jojo fan" mistreats Part 1 and 2 and alllll the misinformation they love to spread about them and about some characters in particular, often bastardizing them into wildly out of character versions and pretending those fanons are canon for whatever reason (being Speedwagon one of the characters that gets bastardized like that the most), sometimes just to make Blorbo Of Their Choice look better by throwing every other character under the bus, sometimes just because people can't be bothered to pay attention to the og if there are no punching ghosts on sight (and even then, Jojo parts featuring stands get misinterpreted a lot too).
This is gonna be long, so let me start by saying that if y'all really believe that Speedwagon somehow became some nasty ass rich man, then you're completely misinformed and you (and I say "you" in general and not specifically you anon) might benefit from rereading/rewatching the source material and actually paying attention to the plot and details this time.
Like, I've seen people assuming that the Foundation only researched the stone mask and eventually stand stuff, and completely forgetting that one of the literal main goals and also one of the biggest things the Foundation does is seeking for the betterment of the planet as a whole (preserving nature, wildlife, etc) as well as for the betterment of medicine and health care, actually seeking for the best for all humankind, this in addition to all the secret branches it has for the research of supernatural phenomena like stands, stone masks, pillar men, and so on in order to prevent as many incidents with them as possible and prevent the loss of as innocent lives as possible.
Sure, the people working for those latter branches might get into deep trouble sometimes whenever some jerk with a stone mask or a stand starts some shit, but, another thing jojo fans tend to conveniently forget is that those employees are working for the secret/non-public branches of the Foundation. We as audience know about them because we are let into seeing them working as part of the narrative, however, the public in general within the story DO NOT KNOW about the existence of those branches or what they do. Pillar men, stone masks, stands and the research around them are kept in secret in order to prevent any sorts of chaos and ensuing panic, among other safety reasons.
The people working for those branches are specialized or at least have some prior knowledge on those fields they work in (you'd think it is a MUST considering they are being let in on sensitive information that could be super detrimental for the planet and for humankind if it fell in the wrong hands), meaning that those employees already know and are fully aware of the kind of stuff they're going to deal with there from the start. They weren't deceived into it, and the fact that the employees remain loyal to Speedwagon from start to end and respect and follow his will, even long after his death, denotes that there was some deep and mutual respect and appreciation there, something you can't earn through exploitation, and definitely something these people wouldn't have done had Speedwagon been the heartless tyrant rich old man some people with a lack of media literacy want to believe and make others believe he was.
If people paid just a wee bit more attention to earlier Jojo parts, they would have realized it was all spelled out from the beginning too! Speedwagon expressly states from the very start his disgust and hatred towards the rich, being the Joestars the only exception to that due to them being genuinely kind persons, unlike most other wealthy people out there. He was also implied to have been dirt poor for most of his life and was also stated to have lived in the slums at least up to PB's main timeline. There were never any indications or signs that showed that he ever betrayed those roots of his by siding with the rich against the poor over the years. Instead, he's been using his funds to make the whole world a better place for everyone, not only by improving health care and access for all people as well as the environment (which would actually show a sense of duty from him as he is counteracting whatever negative impact his oil company may have had on the planet), but also providing all the aid he can against supernatural threats.
And not just that, but he's also kept some of his connections with the crime world over the years. However, rather than using those connections for selfish goals, he makes use of them to workaround the system in cases like Lisa Lisa's, where he used all those influences he had to help her go successfully into hiding after killing the zombie that murdered George (an undercover zombie that was actually a higher up within the army and who everyone believed to be a regular human, hence their chasing after her to make her pay for that "crime" she had supposedly committed). Additionally, if you know anything about big companies and organizations, you'll know that the law is also not always there to protect regular people, and sometimes, it will cater to the more profitable goals, as well as some businessmen actively being shady af and "hindering" their rivals for their own benefit. The Speedwagon Foundation being an organization that vouches and actively works for the wellbeing of people would have probably ruffled countless feathers among those who seek for a personal gain, to say the least (think of the hijackers that tried to kidnap him, as shown in the flashback in BT, i.e). This is also where those connections he keeps with criminals come into play, as there are never any mentions about Speedwagon doing shady stuff through them nor using them to pursue some personal goal, which hints at the fact that he keeps and uses those nexus as means of protection against actual enemies. Defense rather than offense, if you will.
Also, lets not forget that Speedwagon found his reason to change his ways when he met Jonathan, and that a lot of the things the Foundation does are things Jonathan himself would have gone into had he not passed away (the archaeological research, the deep studying of the stone mask -which eventually led to the discovery of the pillar men just in time before their awakening-, all in order to prevent more incidents like the whole thing with Dio from happening, and so on). It's downright silly to think Speedwagon would even think of betraying Jonathan and his memory by using not only the second chance he received from Jojo himself, but also using the literal monument Speedwagon built to honor the deep bond and mutual affection the two had back when Jonathan was alive for some selfish goal.
And also, lets not forget how disgusted he was with Dio and every single vile thing he did to everyone. Do you really think he would want to follow a path similar to his, in which people are just another step for him to walk all over?? If so, then you sure are completely wrong about who Speedwagon really is like.
Those "he became some nasty capitalist lol", pretending that Spw became some heartless and selfish wealthy man along the way for no reason, all despite the heaps of constant evidence the canon has presented, even long after Speedwagon's passing away in the story, that shows that that was never the case only go to show that people are lazy and that paying attention to the story and the details in it is just something some Jojo fans will actively refuse to do and then will make the worst bullshit takes up about it.
Also?? People do realize that it's possible to become rich and not be some piece of shit?? Like, sure, I do agree that most wealthy people irl ARE shit and scummy af, but there will always be a few exceptions, you just don't always see them because the real kind ones don't go around telling everyone about every single kind act they do, they just put their money to good use to make their own employees lives better, or invest/donate money every chance they get to some organization of their trust and so on. Adding to this, do you all even realize people can't just throw money out of the window and that as a business person you always need to keep some capital to actually make your business thrive and so you can continue helping other people out in this case where BIG SUMS of money are being put to use in favor of actual civilians and people from all walks of life??
((Edit to add yet another Very Obvious display that Speedwagon never sided with the rich, not even in his older years: Smokey Brown! The kid is literally a mirror of Speedwagon’s own younger self in that both were criminals from the streets in a large city (London in Spw’s case, NY in Smokey’s), immersed in crime and poverty and most likely having to resort to crime as a mean to survive in a society that was even more classist (and also racist, and this can actually be seen in BT when one of the mafiosos starts spewing shit towards Smokey due to his skin color) than it is nowadays, both having no known parents or family either and having been most likely orphaned/abandoned. Had Speedwagon been this nasty ass rich man, he could have simply ignored Smokey or treated him poorly, or could have even turned him to authorities, considering Smokey’s criminal record just for the sake of “preventing him from stealing from him” or whatever. There was literally nothing Spw could benefit himself from by keeping Smokey around like he did, which is a core trait in abusive/exploitative people. However, he never did any of that. Instead, and despite the reigning classism and racism at the time, Speedwagon along with Erina always embraced Smokey from the start and basically became his godparents, never letting the kid go back to his life in the streets, providing him with everything he needed and making sure he received a proper education, which was something very few people of color (black people, specially) could receive. And yet, Speedwagon and Erina made it happen, very likely using some of Spw’s influences to allow Smokey go to the school (and eventually college too) of his choice without any stigma or trouble at all and covering all expenses for him. -end of edit-))
If this was, idk, the Metal Gear series or some other media that revolves around the topic of politics, then the whole "cRaPiTaLisM!!! >:O" thing would have some weight and be plausible as it directly impacts the main plot of the story. But here?? In Jojo's?? Where the main focus as stated by it's author himself is the strength of the human spirit overcoming obstacles in the face of actual evil??? Try harder.
And, before I get That One Type of fans yelling at me that "people don't just get rich without exploiting people in real life!!"… do you guys realize we're talking about animanga series where vampires, funky stone masks with spooky powers, pillar men, stands, people who can use some ancient sunpowered martial art, plankton that can turn into a sentient person, and so on can happen, right? And yet I don't see anyone whining that "tHaT DoEsN'T hApPeN iRl!!".
And like, if this whole claim stems from disliking Speedwagon, just say you don't like him and move the fuck on. You don't need to try to justify your disliking for him or for ANY other characters, let alone making up wildly out of character bullshit about them to try to prove to yourself and to everyone else why according to you the character is "bad". I promise you it is not a big deal to simply not vibe with a character.
#the lack of media literacy among some jojo fans is overwhelming i swear#its sad to see people constantly and completely misreading and bastardizing speedwagon into something he's not#like all those LAME takes about him being some soft pure uwu innocent scaredy bby#or the 'topkek reddit funni meemz XD!' abt him that some ppl lazily/unironically take as canon#or these silly and also wildly ooc takes on the foundation and him in part 2#really wish more people took the time to actually see and appreciate his character for what he actually is#sorry this got so long but i wanted to get this out of my chest bc i too saw one of those posts again and was like#BRU not this shit AGAIN#also.if i sound bitter its because i am genuinely sick and tired of the speedwagon slander and people completely misreading him#and turning him into something he is not and often completely ignoring him bc of that fanon image ppl have made of him#along with completely disregarding the fact that he's actually one of the most important characters in all jjba#and instead pretending or wrongly assuming that he was just some 'hehe funni meme uwu guy'#jjba#long post#bit of a vent / rant too#robert e o speedwagon#speedwagon#jojo#character analysis: speedwagon#phantom blood#battle tendency#speedwagon foundation#jojo's bizarre adventure#analysis: speedwagon foundation#character analysis#meta#ok to rb

My thoughts on The Witcher/ The Witcher: Blood Origins situation
Disclaimer: This is going to be a long post. I've been meaning to write this for a while. I might do a 2 parts post because it's going to be really long.
Let's start with that stupid, stupid rumour started by Deuxmoi. First, I think it's idiotic to pay attention to what a sh*tty gossip blog says about Henry, especially when they've talked badly about him in the past - they had shared negative blind items with any legitime source, on the style of "someone told me this alleged thing about him"
So let me post first the stupid rumour and then I'll comment point by point:
"I recently got this message and somebody was like, "do you want to know what really went down?" She doesn't say who the source is and if she verified that the rumour at least came from someone who could actually have access to what happened on set; for the way that the rumour is disclosed, it could've been a random person who hated Henry and Deuxmoi took it as legit.
(...)"A lot of unusual demands" which demands? If they're unusual, they should be specific so people can examine if they're actually unusual and he's behaving like a diva. "that made people feel like he wasn't really a team player" this person is talking about Henry in season 1, the same Henry that dehydrated himself to look ripped for shirtless scenes but, sure, he's not really a team player 🙄.
"But in seasons 2 and 3, something shifted" could it be that right after episode 1 of season 2 there was a global pandemic and he had months of solitude to think about his life goals; also he injured himself while filming (such a bad team player, I know) and he might have re-think if it's worth it to keep pushing himself for a show that doesn't respect the IP as he does and that put him on the background except when it's time to promote the show and they use his likeness to sell the final product he's not happy with? "it became really impossible for women to work with, which is always a big problem" even if this rumour is true, I don't see how this could be his fault; as we're going to see next, he's going to be accused of being "toxic" for being a gamer and use gamer language, well guess what? The Witcher became famous through video games, meaning, the targeted audience and the ones who made the IP well-known are gamers. If women feel uncomfortable working with gamers and people who want to stay loyal to the source material, maybe don't work in a show where the targeted audience is gamers and they tend to be opinionated about the adaptations of the lores they love. "But even worse, because the showrunner is a woman" again, how is this Henry's fault? Lauren is the one who agreed to be the person with most power in a show adaptation of a story who became famous worldwide thanks to video games, it's not like she didn't know they were the ones who would watch the show and the ones who she'd have to please. Also, she worked in comic book adaptations before so she can have an idea how passionate (and sometimes toxic) that kind of fanbase could be yet, she accepted the job and all that comes with it. "He would try to overrule her and try to get changes made last minute across the board without her knowledge" so far, I think the only change he made was the lines after Roach's death and, it was because he felt it was an insult to make a joke. Also, it wasn't completely without her knowledge because they had an argument about it before this and she told him to see if he could find something better to say, according to Lauren herself. "(...) The showrunner has to sign off on every minuscule detail down to the bottoms of a costume" this, this is where I want to put stress on. Lauren a few weeks ago tried to deviate the blame from Eskel's death to the writer, Beau de Mayo, because he was the one who wrote the episode -it's worth mentioning that she tried to throw him under the bus because he's the one who said there were writers who hated the IP. She's the showrunner; she's the maximum authority there; she has to greenlight everything for it to happen and, she could've easily said no if she didn't want Eskel to be killed. Also, yes, Beau was the one who wrote the episode but he might have been told to kill an important character in that episode; again, the showrunner is the one who has to supervise everything and if a writer does something that could hurt the story, like killing a character that survives in every other media, she has to say no or change the writer if this doesn't want to. There's no excuse here for her incompetence. This is on her.
"Female writers and directors were suddenly ignored on set, unable to do their jobs" sorry, what?! 🤣 Writers are never on set, their job has to be done before filming the season starts. The showrunner is the only one who's usually on set. As for the female directors, there are only two listed for S2 and one of them said and I quote "Had the pleasure of directing episodes 6 and 7" (source https://www.instagram.com/p/CW8z6KurW2f/?hl=en ) As for s3, the only director attached it's Stephen Surjik -who in the past said how polite Henry was on the set and that he could become a politician because he was so polite to anyone and took the time to greet everyone (https://youtu.be/kcUgoyQSQ1k?t=84 I marked it on the exact time he speaks about Henry)
"He started making comments. It wasn't a sexual thing: he wasn't grabbing anyone or being lewd, but it was disrespectful and toxic all the same." again being too vague and don't give specifics; how was he being toxic? What kind of comments would he make that would make people, especially women uncomfortable? Could those comments be about the script and how unhappy he's with it? He's a famous actor and his reputation is on the line so, yeah, he has the right to speak when he's not happy about it. His indie movies proved his range as an actor but, he prefers to do comic books and video game adaptations, that's his chosen career path so he wants to keep the reputation as someone who cares for the source material and he's going to be outspoken about it. If anyone behind the scenes cannot take a gamer critiquing the work of an adaptation of an IP they love, maybe those people should be looking for a different job.
Then they talk sh*t about him being an addict because he likes to play video games. "He was distracted, he was late, he was obsessive" funny because Stephen Surjik in the interview that I link above said how he was always on time, prepared and knew all his lines and stunts. Also make-up and hair takes him about 2h so maybe sometimes he could've been a bit late because of that. Also, in case this person forgot, he was injured while filming s2, so maybe he could've been late sometimes because he was in pain? I don't know, I assume it must hurt; I hurt my ankle years ago and I was in pain for months. And, again, this could also be a lie because Stephen said he was always ready. Then again with the bullsh*t about gamer language, what language, Karen, what language did he allegedly use that was so disrespectful?
Then back again with the re-writing scenes, I assume it's the Roach scene and only Freya was there and she had no lines at that moment, so it doesn't affect her.
"He decided he didn't want any romantic scenes at all. No kissing, no shirtless scenes, etc" oh Karen, I'm going to fight you so hard on this. I'm actually pissed. As for romantic scenes, he didn't say no romance, he said no romance with Triss; he felt the real love story was between Geralt and Yennefer and he felt Geralt would be loyal to Yen, the fact that there was no romance was a writers/Lauren issue because they went against what the IP says and made Yennefer a b*tch who tried to sacrifice Ciri for power so of course Geralt wouldn't ignore that and just be romantic with her despite what she did. As for kissing scenes, I call it bullsh*t because Henry himself said in interviews that he had no problem with kissing scenes even when covid was (and is) still a thing; he said he'd only be uncomfortable if there was a kissing scene involved and he saw Anya coughing and sneezing, meaning with clear symptoms of covid (https://youtu.be/JldJ9cDzZ1o?t=1081 source). As for shirtless scenes, is it a crime that he didn't want to have shirtless scenes? Correct me if I'm wrong but, Anya didn't have naked scenes this season either. Why is it a problem only if he doesn't want to do shirtless scenes unless they're necessary? Also, S2 was filmed in the middle of a pandemic; there was a hiatus of filming that lasted months where he couldn't go out to the gym and only had a few weeks to properly train in a gym before they resume filming, it's possible he didn't feel comfortable shirtless after a long period without training.
"He wanted complete control over storylines," I think he wanted Geralt to be more than a grumpy dude that says "hmm" and "fuck" all the time. If he's used as the lead actor for promotion, his character should have more screen time and focus on the show. The part about him not knowing about tv structure and budget is bullsh*t. The problem he had was with the script and characters motivations and stuff, things that didn't require the budget to fix; maybe if they didn't go for the stupid Voleith Meir thing they could have afforded other stuff, just saying.
About the "weird alliance" with the witcher writer who was allegedly fired, who I assume was Beau, the one who exposed them for not liking the source material. Could you, Karen, explain more? So far, the only connection I saw was a text message that Beau send Henry after Nightmare of the Wolf (the movie he wrote) was released to see if Henry saw it. That doesn't seem like two people with a weird alliance. Also, if Beau was so toxic, why was he allowed to write the animated movie?
Here's the receipt to the message; the photo was taken by a paparazzi and posted to DailyMail.
"Henry did anything he could to hold up production and cause problems" How? What did he do to hold up production and cause problems? Was it maybe that he challenged a few script points to better the end result? Maybe he pointed out how uncharacteristic was that Yennefer tried to kidnap Ciri and sacrifice her for her powers because Yennefer loves Ciri as if she was her own daughter. Or maybe he thought it was unrealistic that Vesemir would use Ciri to try to create more Witchers, including Ciri herself. There are lots of plot points that could've worried him that it wasn't going to work out and, guess what, it didn't work. Fans hated it.
Ok, assuming it was right about the HR complaints; then, why would Netflix allow him to be in Enola Holmes 2? That was filmed after S2 wrapped. Why would they allow a person who had lots of complaints to go to work on another movie and do a third season of the show he was an assh*le. If this is true, and the part about him sending an email to the entire writing staff (I doubt, even if this is true, that he'd send an email himself, given that even posting on his social media nowadays is a task of his team) if, and it's a very big if, he sent an email to writers, I assume must have been to apologize because he didn't realize he was being perceived as rude or hard to work with.
For me, this is just bullsh*t. Even if this person actually worked there, it's clearly someone, possibly a writer, that's pissed about the Witcher campaign to fire them and re-hire Henry. And, even if this is true, it's definitely an exaggeration as I proved. It wouldn't prove that Henry is toxic but, actually, if women and people there can't take gaming lingo and people are passionate about the IP they love, maybe they shouldn't seek to work in video game-related adaptations -I know The Witcher is supposed to be an adaptation to the books but it was the game who put the IP in the map, worldwide, so gamers and the targeted audience for this.
Ok, part 1 of my rant/thoughts ends here and continues on a new post (I'll edit the post with the link to the second part once I post it)

Seeing as you’ve been diagnosed the Ace Wiki how does someone unfamiliar with the powerpuff girls write Ace? (Not just as a boyfriend but just in general)
ok Ace is a bit of a tricky character to write (I've made a guide like this before but it was vague and also I can't find it) but it's not so hard once you keep these core traits of his in mind-
Ace is stupid. he just is. it's not bad, he's just kind of dumb. but he THINKS he's smart. and his gang does too (besides Snake sometimes) he's got a big ego and nothing much to show for it. he often doesn't think things through and acts very impulsively, and he gets words and phrases wrong a lot and he doesn't know about a lot of things, but pretends he does (like Shakespeare, calls him the guy that's always shaking the spear)
he likes to get under people's skin and has no accountability. he likes to bully people or annoy them on purpose and then immediately backtrack and say he can explain or someone else told him to do it or something
he is self serving. he puts himself and, to a lesser extent his gang, first (I say to a lesser extent because for the most part he keeps them safe but its not unheard of for him to throw them under the bus)
he's funny! intentionally sometimes, making dumb jokes or puns, and unintentionally other times ("gimme the money or your fish will be swimming with the... fishes" <- not meant as a joke he just didn't think it through)
he's chill for the most part but he does have anger issues
he puts on this air of confidence that's always quick to come down as soon as something goes wrong- he's really really nervous under all that
he's an outcast. nobody likes him, not even other villains, and he's incredibly aware of this
he's a manipulator! he knows how to get on somebody's good side if it means he'll get something out of it
above all else, he's charismatic, at least he thinks he is. you really just have to watch clips of him to understand what I mean by this it's hard to put into words
......yeah I hope that was enough. I feel like I really went ham listing off his bad traits but there is a lot of good in him too- he's been known to comfort people and actually be sad when they die in later seasons, so there is a bit of development there and even in Gorillaz! he says "please can you get out of my way" that would be unheard of in ppg, he only really said please when he was begging for his life, not when he was telling someone to get out of his way. so I will give them that there is a little development there but at the same time he's still the same old scamp (carries around knives, even popped somebody's basketball though he felt bad? about it (though its very possible this is another case of "he does a bad thing and then loses his confidence as a defense mechanism"), carries around brass knuckles implying he gets in a lot of fights, steals toasters, implied to have eaten a cigarette, definitely drank alcohol when he was specifically told by his parent company not to) he's not suddenly some average Joe just because he said please one time you know?
and remember that I left out some traits because they're incredibly scene-specific and not necessarily true for the entire show, like that he melts when he gets excited in Aspirarions and hes incredibly loyal to Sedusa because she promised them a better life, things like that. his character works differently for the purpose of some episodes but he largely remains the same and has consistent traits
I don't think I explained right at all so I definitely encourage you to just kinda like? watch clips of him if you wanna write him. I don't articulate things well and you'll be better off getting it from the source (though I do love talking about him though so thank you >:]) just try to remember he's a scamp first and foremost and don't try to scrub that away. his strong personality is something to be embraced not worked around
#the wording on this one confused me a little so i hope i answered this in the right way#ace copular#ace gorillaz#ace ppg#asks#daftydill#long post

Regarding the relationships between the Presidents and the Vice Presidents, which ones would you say were the most toxic among one another or disagreed with each other the most?
Maybe it's just recency bias, but I seem to remember President Trump not only throwing Vice President Pence under the bus and calling him a coward for not helping to overturn the results of free and fair election, but very publicly doing so while hordes of Trump's supporters were chanting "Hang Mike Pence!" and attacking the Capitol (the place where Pence was physically located at the time) during a violent insurrection.
I mean, plenty of Presidents and Vice Presidents have said bitchy things about one another, but I feel like that one has to be the gold standard for toxic POTUS/VP relationships.-- which is pretty remarkable considering how embarrassingly loyal and personally subservient Pence had been for the initial 3 years and 350 days of the Trump Administration.
Andrew Jackson and John C. Calhoun at least deserve an honorable mention. At the end of his Presidency, Andrew Jackson said his two biggest regrets were that he was "unable to shoot Henry Clay or to hang John C. Calhoun". Calhoun was Jackson's Vice President for most of his first term and it's clear that they weren't teaming up to solve mysteries like Obama and Biden. Calhoun -- who had also served as Vice President under Jackson's immediate predecessor, John Quincy Adams -- eventually resigned as VP, partly to take a vacant seat in the U.S. Senate, partly because Martin Van Buren had been elected to replace him as Vice President in the 1832 election, and partly because his disagreements with President Jackson over the Nullification Crisis were getting pretty tense and openly hostile.
Political rivalries were at the root of the issue between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson when they were President and Vice President (1797-1801), and things got nasty, but nobody was threatening to kill each other. Their war of words took off more after Adams left office and Jefferson succeeded him, but they also reconciled and enjoyed one of history's great pen pal partnerships for the rest of their lives.
When Jefferson became President in his own right, he had his own beef with his first Vice President, Aaron Burr, over the 1800 Election. It didn't really result in much drama once Jefferson was on solid footing in the White House, and nobody got killed. Well...except for Alexander Hamilton. He totally got killed. The incumbent Vice President of the United States actually killed a fellow Founding Father, eventually returned to Washington, and presided over the Senate despite catching a murder indictment from the State of New Jersey. Even though he got himself a different VP for his second term, Jefferson never let go of the grudge he held against Burr, and pushed for Burr eventually getting charged with treason for sketchy dealings he had going on in the area recently acquired via the Louisiana Purchase. Much to Jefferson's disappointment, Burr was eventually acquitted.
Now that I'm laying out the facts, the Jefferson/Burr relationship definitely sounds pretty toxic when the ingredients include shady maneuvering over their initial election, murder and treason.
But it's important to remember that Vice Presidents played almost no role in the Executive Branch until the second-half of the 20th Century when Presidents started carving out a role for them, so it was really easy for a President to sideline his VP if they didn't get along. There were also long stretches of Vice Presidential vacancies because there was no mechanism for replacing a Vice President until 1967. We've had a President of the United States for over 234 years, and I once figured out that during that entire history, we've gone 37 years, 290 days of that time without a Vice President.
So, if there have been issues between a President and the Vice President, the VP has never had much leverage to use in order to better their position. As a federally-elected official in their own right, the Vice President is the one person that Presidents can't fire. But their only weapon has been their role as a tie-breaking vote in the Senate, and most Vice Presidents are in ideological lockstep with their President politically, so it's usually been rather unlikely that they'd have an opposing viewpoint on potential legislation requiring a tie-breaker. There are always issues that bubble to the surface between Presidents and Vice Presidents (or between their staffs and/or families) and we normally find out about them after the fact when folks are writing their memoirs and settling scores, but it's not usually anything too dramatic.

Send me a 💗 and I’ll talk about the relationship our Muses have.
Now what a precarious little relationship this is going to be.
Katherine is caught somewhere between being terrified of Aruora and idolizing her. Katherine thinks shes batshit insane, but she kinda likes it. Shes a tough bitch, been around longer than Katherine, on the outs with the Mikaelsons and still surviving. Not only that she walks around with a neon middle finger sign and a megaphone screaming fuck you Mikaelsons- fearlessly.
Thats probably what Katherine idolizes the most, is how fearess she appeares to be, (at least to katherines point of view) and how shes nothing less than formidable at all times. Shes smart, shes ruthless, shes loyal to her brother.
And theres a little bit of jealousy from Katherine. Shes had someone to share her pain and years with the whole time (to Katherine's knowledge) where as Klaus murdered her entire family, and took away everyone she cared about after. Katherine's only ever been alone and on the run, she often wonders how she would be present day if she had just had someone to care about and love while she was running the whole time. Would she have gotten killed? Because severing her attachments was the one kindness Klaus did for her. Gave her the ability to compartmentalize and only have herself to worry about. Or would she be free of Klaus with an extra hand of someone who loved her just as much as she loved them. Loyalty to someone other than her own survival.
Much to unpack, but lets just throw the whole suitcase away-
These two have the potential to be the most detrimental team up to the Mikaelsons in the history of ever- but equally so they are ready to at the drop of a hat- turn each other over for their own (or tristan in aruoras case) survival. Besties till theyre not. It's just a game of who throws who under the bus first, and who made the better deal to escape.
#answered#shes also very pretty#but Katherine didnt want that in the break down#shes mad i mentioned she was scared of her lmfao

You are probably tired of getting asks about UHT's past of bullying Rachel, but I have to ask: why do you think they targeted Rachel to begin with? Because let's not forget that in Pilot, Quinn was cyberbullying Rachel before Finn even entered the picture. Rachel's gold star narration in Pilot came way before Finn was blackmailed into joining Glee Club.
I personally think it's a mix of Rachel being the daughter of a interracial gay couple in a small town, and being a potential threat to Quinn in general, not in romantic sense.
Because to this day, I am still shocked Sue never once tried to snatch Rachel up for her squad. Girl can sing, can dance, can follow directions, and really, you can't tell me Sue wouldn't have managed to rein Rachel in. Not to mention Rachel is dangerously loyal to a fault— she could have been one of, if not the most, Sue's most powerful assets!
Hey Anon, no worries I think I've only really gotten asked about the UHT's bullying of Rachel once so it's not a dead horse topic. It's gonna be long but I hope you're along for the ride.
I think there are two dimensions to this ask, why the UHT targeted Rachel and, connected to that, this topic you introduce of Rachel's potential as a Cheerio. Let me answer the first one by saying she was an easy target and elaborate as we go.
Rache was an easy target. That's an easy answer to the bullying question and explains why, even before the threat of Finchel entered the picture, Quinn and by extension the rest of the Cheerios bullied Rachel. And it wasn't just the cyberbullying we see before On My Own, or at least I'm also willing to consider the deleted bathroom scene with Rachel and Quinntana canon. The fact that they bullied her in person, too, is canon to me, anyway. Why is she an easy target? Well, high school social hierarchies do be like that, especially in media aimed to exaggerate these divides. We all know Rachel is beautiful but she's not the conventionally attractive type, which already places her lower on this cruel food chain. And then there's her loud, overachieving and overbearing personality which I'm sure already alienated a lot of "cool" and "laid back" kids in middle school and freshman year. Even put aside the theater kid thing which already gives her an aura of uncoolness in McKinley's established sports-obsessed world, Rachel's too much. Personality-wise, she's just too much for people and kids can be stupid and cruel and turn the traits of a well-meaning but sometimes obnoxious girl into subjects of ridicule.
To be clear, I am most definitely not saying Rachel deserved any of it. Not for her interests, not for her personality - which is admittedly too much but in an endearing sort of way when you get to know her. And certainly not for her looks, when even the most shallow environment has to admit she is pretty just not in the most conventional way. Rachel never deserved to be bullied and she didn't bring any of it on herself, but by a combination of things and by nature of someone having to be at the bottom, she became an easy target. An easy target gets piled on and leaders of packs and those at the top are even more likely to pick on them just 'cause. Quinn, as we come to learn, is desperate to be on top and willing to throw people under the bus, and to be on top someone has to be at the bottom. Maybe she started the bully train against Rachel, maybe a more senior Cheerio did in her freshman year and Quinn followed suit to fit in. For our purposes, it doesn't really matter because she did lead the charge when we're introduced to her and there's no excuse for that.
And I think with that answer I'm also disagreeing with you, Anon, because I don't think it's because of Rachel's dads and I don't think Quinn saw much of a rival in Rachel until she set her eyes on Finn. First, the gay dads thing: as I established, there were plenty of other factors that landed Rachel at the bottom. Valid or not, a discussion for another day because of course bullying itself can never be justified. Did having an interracial gay couple for fathers also contribute to painting a target on her back, maybe. I hardly think that would have been the only factor, but I'm sure the backwards parents of Lima kids would have heard about the Berrys and dissed them in front if their kids. The kids, in turn, feeling empowered to extend the bigotry they heard at home and hurling insults at the poor Berry kid herself. Russell WASP patriarch Fabray and Alma anti-Black homophobe Lopez don't strike me as people who wouldn't have all kinds of colourful things to say about Hiram and LeRoy Berry.
But that said, my point is that that's not reason enough alone for Quinn Fabray, personally, to target Rachel. I think it can potentially be part of a bigger picture of toxicity learned at home, sure. And it's not like the UHT's insults didn't have a shocking dose of transphobia and some homophobia in canon. I just don't think it's that simple, and I think what high school kids perceived as cool and lame contributed more. Such as Rachel embodying much of the "lame" part. And to also say, about the rivalry, I don't think Quinn or any of the other Cheerios saw Rachel as anything but a loser prior to the show's start. There's no reason to. If anything, based on her reactions throughout Showmance and s1A, pre-series/early Quinn would be offended at the notion that she and Rachel could be considered rivals, that someone like Rachel could be a threat to her.
And this brings us to the Cheerio Rachel question, which... is another point on which I have to disagree. See, even though Sue, later on, does expand the squad and includes more non-traditional candidates. the Cheerios at the beginning are very much building on the high school social hierarchy I mentioned before. Sue literally spells the HS caste system out to Will in the Pilot. She strictly adheres to these cruel notions and wouldn't pick someone with Rachel's aura of uncoolness. Sue also recognizes difficult personalities and I doubt she would have wanted to deal with Rachel, even if she likes a challenge every now and then. And to your point about singing and dancing, well. The Cheerios aren't singers. The only time we see Sue include singing in the routine is (conveniently) when Kurtcedes join. Apart from that, even though she literally has the Unholy Trinity at her disposal, Sue knows that cheerleading isn't Glee, you don't typically need to belt a Celine out. As for dancing... well, oof, I know Glee tells us Rachel practices oh so much and is an okay if not good dancer, but even Lea Michele admits she really can't dance. Most of the time, even in her "dance" numbers, Rachel does a few moves while the actual dancers do their thing around her. Sue hardly has a need for that. Besides, I don't think Rachel herself would have wanted to join anyway.
Bottom line, TL;DR? Kids are cruel. Environments that foster hierarchies based on arbitrary indicators of cool vs lame also foster the type of bullying Rachel went through. At the end of the day, it's just the plain stupid cruelty of those at the top feeling insecure but also being boldened by their perceived power. Quinn and Santana and all the other Cheerios bullied Rachel not (just) because her dads didn't fit in with a small conservative town. They didn't put that much thought in it. And not because they looked at Rachel as anything but a loser who was beneath them. It's good old-fashioned picking on someone who the world deems inferior, not because you yourself know them and have decided they deserve it.
#opened up the cheerio!rachel can of worms lol#i guess there's more to say there but i'm firmly on the#sue never would have wanted to recruit rachel side of things#frankly i'm just a bit confused why sue would care that rachel can sing#yeah she utilized kurtcedes but that was a different context and she never does it again#cause it's cheerleading you don't need singers you need dancers first and foremost. athletes#basically i don't think we need to look for specific reasons for the bullying as much as it was just#the unfortunate reality of a few different things landing rachel at the bottom and the cheerios feasting on that like vultures#just because they could#long ass tags as well huh#anon#glee asks#rachel asks#rachel berry#i considered tagging the uht as well but this post doesn't feel like it's really about them#i think that's okay it's mostly about rachel

Secret Santa Prompts
Being an artist that likes getting general prompts but proceeds to turn around and not have any prompts for other artists other than "I just want to see them, I love them" makes me a problem child doesn't it. Lmao. I'll do my best and also leave some reference material here!
Tales of the Rays: Recollection:
Don't know what Reco is at all or sort of do and want to get to know my requested characters better? You can take a look at my character introduction posts to get a general feel for them. I did privately EN summarize the entire story chapter by chapter in detail on my Discord, Kocis Squad! But, uh, linking it would probably out my assignee to me via joining huh? ...W-well here's the opening animation and a playlist of the raw chapters if you want to take a look. The main story chapters in particular are fully voiced at least.
Character thoughts:
Elnath:
She's cute! She's badass! She's perfe-- *ahem* Um. Let's see. Naturally she's adorable, but she also just. Carries a claymore over her shoulder with zero effort and leads a military squadron. Please note that Elnath is also an adult even though she doesn't look like it. Like the rest of my requested Reco characters, you can find a write up of her in my linked character introductions tag above.
Making a read more cut for the rest for the safety of everyone's dash.
Haze:
Above is her fall outfit, and it's gorgeous, but I welcome any design! Haze really grew on me, and before I knew it I was part of the Haze fanclub. She is sincere and dotes on everyone as if they were her own child.
Kodama:
Petty crime greml-- Kodama is a fascinating character, and you can really just sit and chew on him analyze his character. He's exceedingly clever and utilizes street smarts, including for petty get backs at anyone who bullies him, but he's very kind hearted and will throw himself under the bus to help others. You really never know what this boy is up to at any given time.
Lugh:
Feral cat. Does bite. Stubborn, loyal. Pretty design. Maybe a little unhinged. Under certain plot circumstances she did soften, and was found crying. She's been alone for a very long time... Her pupils are indeed white, but it's really hard to see with this internal image resolution. I do own the art book, so if anyone wants her actual settei sheet with the 3D turn around and eye detail, I can provide it to a secret santa mod to send to you perhaps?
Tales of the Rays:
...Let's just cut to the chase on this one. Here's the writeup I did on Kocis. I love him with all my heart.
Tales of Luminaria:
Honestly as my 3rd request, this is most relevant if you were actually specifically matched to me because of this so! If that's the case I'll assume you know Lumi pretty well! Because we have to love and remember Lumi or no one else will--
I'm calm.
Anyway, even if you weren't matched to me because of this you're of course welcome to enjoy drawing these characters! Mostly I actually just don't know what to say haha So in that case, lemme grab some references.
Here's a story playlist in English dub. There is also a JP dub on youtube, but it's organized a little backwards. The neat thing about Lumi is each episode focuses on a character, so if you want to get to know my request characters, you can get a good idea by focusing on their specific episodes! Which are clearly labelled. They do show up in other character's episodes naturally, but that's the quickest way to check them out.
The exceptions to this are Grace Menil and Frederick Logerot, who are actually supporting/background characters haha I just love them. Grace only shows up in this specific episode starting at this timestamp if you'd like reference of her. She is very cool and I'm sad we didn't see more of her. Meanwhile Frederick is Maxime's butler and he's just a bro. You'll find him in various episodes with Maxime, but here's one timestamp of him.

Muse List for B3AST0FBURD3N
This is the last time I'm gonna switch between multi/single I swEAR
All in fc3, 2012 for ease of timeline management. those without full bios will have them soon.
PRIMARY:
Eden Seed (21) - Daughter of The Father himself, Eden holds her values and beliefs close to her chest. She is strong and independent, slow to friendship but fiercely loyal and always willing to do what it takes to get the job done. PROUD, ENVIOUS and WRATHFUL. She values softness and kindness in others while never allowing herself the same grace. Eden does not command respect, she’s too awkward, but at least now the pirates have stopped calling her Angel.
She can often be found working around the North island, handling shipments, hunting, or, if others are doing the same, relaxing by the water.
Notable physical traits: Eden has heterochromia (ITS PLOT OKAY) blue/brown, short blonde hair buzzed except in the front and back (think mohawk without the middle. mowk), covered in religious scars and tattoos, 5'9. FC is Kristen Stewart.
quick bio, characterhub (full bio, outdated tbh)
She also has fc4/ 5/ ND details, to be discussed later when I actually write them down
THE REST:
Atticus Hayes (34) - Will not answer to Atticus, you’re better off with just Hayes. Overgrown manchild, just as awkward as his friend and roommate, Eden, without the foresight to stop talking. Lazy hedonist, complainer, annoyance. Just as sexist and grotesque as the rest of the pirates. Despite being in the military, his personality led to him not being invited to the privateers. Hayes tries to avoid work as much as possible, he's often lounging at a bar or hanging around other pirates, annoying them with his constant rambling.
Notable physical traits: Absolutely covered in scars. 2012 pre-Brody sees most of them on his body, including the lack of both little fingers, left middle and right ring fingers. 2012 Post-Brody includes fresh slices across his face (skin no longer dangling, thank you medic) from his former best friend. Buzzed brown hair, brown eyes, 6'4. and bc I don't know where to put it: From Australia.
this is the oldest drawing on my current laptop (like three or four years old) but it is unfortunately the most accurate (excluding the gages). fc is Brad Pitt from Fight Club!
Charlie Barlow (16) - Tech extraordinaire. He graduated high school early, so his mom took him on a cruise! How sweet! Until they run low on gas and float too close to Rook. After watching his mother be slaughtered by pirates, Charlie lost a piece of himself and gained a new life goal. Survive. He'll do anything to get on someone's good side, throw anyone under the bus. Entirely loyal to himself. Only being on the island for a year, most people don't know Charlie, and after an unfortunate meeting with Vaas left him chair bound, most don't see him. He stays in his shack, with limited internet connection doing whatever Eden (or anyone who threatens him) asks.
Notable physical traits: 5'6, grown out buzz, red hair with hints of black box dye on the tips, E carved into his cheek, brown eyes, squints because he lost his glasses.
fc is Nathan Westling
Elias Dubois (26) - Quiet, pensive, clean freak. Genuinely has OCD and also happens to prefer things neat. VERY clean, bathes at least once every two days, has two cabinets full of bleach and soap. No one is fully in control on Rook, not even Hoyt. Elias strives to control everything he can, including his own space and the makeshift cafe where he prepares food. Not particularly friendly with anyone aside from customer service politeness, he prefers to keep to himself by not sharing many personal details. This is just a defense, though, Elias is deeply void of human connection and severely touch starved. Stays in his cafe most of the time, has a small bedroom in the back, only really leaves to collect shipments of food/supplies sent to him.
Notable physical traits: 6'1, Green eyes, light brown hair usually pulled back but always up when he's cooking. Mustache and scruff on his chin. A couple scattered tattoos.
fc is Kyle Gallner
Mahsuri Hasan (29) - Mahsuri comes from a long line of Seers, her chosen divination tool is cards. All are welcome to her tent, as long as they obey the policy: Leave your weapons at the door. Suri is a friendly and generous person, no one leaves her without a small trinket or rock to guide them along their way. Even when dealing with the pirates, she keeps her opinions to herself and tries to offer them some respite from their tumultuous lives. She grew up with the Rakyat, but finds more value in playing both sides than living for only one, despite her diehard allegiance to Citra. Can always be found in her tent, if not then she's being friendly with the residents of Badtown.
Notable physical traits: Brown dreadlocked hair, brown eyes, scars on her wrists from a run in with pirates. Carries a shoulder bag with her main deck in it.
fc is Danai Gurira

─── ・ 。゚☆: SERALDINA EZRANA
NAME: Seraldina Ezrana AGE: 31 / 310 PRONOUNS: She/her SEXUALITY: Lesbian SPECIFIC FANDOM: ACOTAR DRAGON INFO: Mara, orange dragon, bonded for 2 monthsPHYSIOLOGY
HEIGHT: 5'3 HAIR COLOUR: Brown, wavy EYE COLOUR: Brown, dark APPEARANCE: She prides herself on always looking very put together, very focused on her appearance SPECIES: High fae ** STYLE:** Lots of greens and oranges in her clothing, wears a hood a lot when she's trying to just pass by. She likes gowns but doesn't wear them a lot, so most of her clothing are darker pants with longer shirts that sort of give the same flowing impression TATTOOS: Line of dark tattoos that go across her upper back, over her shoulders and down her arms, a different scattering of stars and other things SCARRING: Many, most significantly on her upper back where the tattoos are, as well as many on her legs WEAPON OF CHOICE: Bow and arrow
SOCIOLOGY OCCUPATION: Dragon rider. Her life revolves around her dragon. Before that, she was sort of unoccupied, her life focused and in control by her father COURT: Dusk HOME LIFE: She lives alone. She's spent her whole life in service of others in one way or the other, so she chose to be alone and free PETS: Mara, the dragon, if she counts as a pet FAMILY: She has a father and a mother, both of whom she doesn't like and isn't on good terms with. No siblings whatsoever RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Single SOCIAL STATUS: She's never cared about that sort of thing. Her father was well known, at least enough to have quite a few important friends in her court, but she never wanted to follow on his footsteps. She'd rather be at the bottom than at the mercy of someone else TRAINING: She was taught in a lot of her self defense training, sword training, by a general whose services were given to her by her father. However, the dragon training she mostly learned on her own. It was her decision to try and bond with a dragon, against her father's wishes VICES: She's very much a self sabatoging kind of person
PSYCHOLOGY SEX LIFE: Ha! Good one MORAL STANDARDS: Although Sera has a very heavy sense of loyalty, she has yet to find someone to be loyal to in the way that she believes they deserve. She's loyal to her court to a certain extent, so that's where her moral standards lay. However, she is the type to put her lover or found family above ALL else, even going as far to willingly kill for the one she loves. She just hasn't found it yet AMBITION: Her ambition is to be free in her heart and in her actions TEMPERAMENT: Decent. Sometimes snaps COMPLEXES: None really ABILITIES: Typical high fae abilities such as winnowing, immortality, heightened senses PERSONALITY: She doesn't take any shit, stands up for herself, and can be quite sassy. She is, however, very reasonable and communicative
BIOGRAPHY
Sera's father is very close to the dusk court's inner circle. From a young age, his only passion was power, and he brought his family along with him in a pursuit of that. He's the type of man to address people only when he needs something, yet butter them up in such a way that it seems like he truly cares about them. Growing up as an only child, these values were taught to Sera. Sera hates him for that. She hates the way he speaks, the way he lacks loyalty to others when it matters, she hates how she KNOWS that he would throw his family under the bus for her. From a young age, she knew she wanted more than the life he had laid out for her as just another political tool. She was fascinated with dragons, and desired to know them, desired to ride one and bond with one. Her father had her trained in archery, swordsmanship, and self defense. She learned about dragons in secret on her own time, befriending others with a similar mindset. She wanted not to take her dragon into battle (unless needed), but rather, to find a dragon who wanted the same purpose as herself: to be free, bonded with another, and never touch ground. Her father was against the idea. All he wanted was for her to be another pawn in her political schemes, another person to manipulate. She moved out on her own, against his wishes, to somewhere in secret, and began planning how to convince the inner court to allow her to bond with a dragon. When she finally bonded with Mara, he was furious, knowing there was nothing that he could do. It's been two months since and Sera and Mara are inseparable.
PERSONALITY
She keeps to herself quite a bit, and although she has a keen mind for politics and is very reasonable, that doesn't interest her at all these days. She's a fighter, and very sassy and can come off strong, but it's never badly intentioned.

What`s another year!
So as we put 2023-24 to bed, we reflect on a campaign that saw us four points clear at the top after seven games and dreaming of the promised land. However, the joy was short lived as results began to fade and after beating Birmingham at home on 19th September we won just four of the next twenty two league games before beating Ipswich on the 3rd of February at Deepdale. It was a shocking sequence of results and to go almost half a season winning just four games would have been way too much for plenty of owners. North End saw fit to retain the services of Ryan Lowe and the Ipswich win was the start of a five game run which saw us win four and draw one. We were, once again, incredibly, on the brink of the play offs but a draw at home against Hull was the start of a final twelve game run in that saw North End take just eleven points from the thirty six on offer which is relegation form in anyone`s book. We won three, drew two and lost seven of those final twelve games including losing the last five games on the trot. In those two runs of twenty two and twelve games we won just seven out of thirty four which is an appalling return. I know people will say we finished tenth on one of the bottom six budgets but if money were all that were needed in football then why would clubs bother employing a coach. Ipswich have spent just 4.2m and look where they will be starting next season!
I wanted a change after the defeat to QPR in December as I had seen more than enough of the brand by then. Lowe bought himself some time with the results in February and hopes were raised as we clung on to the tails of the play offs. However it is much more than the brand on the pitch that made up my mind about the manager. The comments about fans and badges was the end for me, for in what other business would a company slag off or disrepect the opinion of it`s customers? The fan base is undoubtedly split on Lowe but I talk to many people and I would say that at least two out of three of the fans would like a change in the hot seat. The manager has calmed down a little since those appalling comments in December, no doubt some sage advice coming from above as to his future conduct and comments in the media, but he still has rather an annoying habit of throwing his charges under the bus in his post match comments.
Anyway, enough about the manager as thoughts move to next season. With Millar and Browne gone North End need to strengthen and if Lowe insists on playing the wing back system then he needs to buy two wing backs. No doubt there will be a good take up on season cards once again as North End have a very loyal fan base in spite of everything. 63 years without kicking a ball in the top flight is an appalling record and while the current owners have little to do with the first fifty years of that it is worth mentioning that North End had four Championship play off campaigns between 2001-2009 and have had none since. No doubt people can make their own mind up about that stat. My fear for next season is that the club have put all their eggs in one basket with the manager and if we get off to a poor start then the club will have nowhere to go with most of the fan base saying I told you so. However, we all hope that scenario does not happen and that the close season investment is wise and appropriate. We could possibly have new owners by then, who knows, and things may look very different. I have no doubt that the Hemmings family will sell for around the 40-45m mark, to the right investors, but sometimes with new owners you have to be careful what you wish for. For now we can only wait and see how things evolve between now and August 10th, but the club feels stale at the moment and something must be done before the new campaign begins to freshen things up.
And finally this week:- whilst waiting to get off a very slow moving car park at West Brom last Saturday I had the pleasure of bumping into Nick Scholes and his good lady wife. For those who don`t know Mr and Mrs Scholes have given immeasurable support to the youth set up at Preston North End over many, many years. Nick was very proud as he told me that the youth team had won the Alliance league last Saturday morning, therefore completing the league and cup double this season. There are many unsung heroes at football clubs up and down the land and if we had a competition for the PNE unsung hero then my vote would, undoubtedly, go to Mr and Mrs Scholes for their enourmous contribution to the Youth set up at Deepdale. Thanks Nick, and it was a pleasure, as usual, to meet you and your good lady again last Saturday.

omg thank you for this comment, this line really gets me and warrants its own post tbh. Because the way Steve Kloves writes Hermione strips her of so much of her warmth and personality as she's written in the books. Instead of being Harry and Ron's fiercely loyal best friend who's intelligent not just intellectually but emotionally, she's portrayed as a know-it-all harpy whose sole purpose is to be a mouthpiece for exposition (often in ways that strip other characters of the opportunity to develop, especially Harry, by putting realizations and motivations in their mouths, because the alternative would be allowing these characters to experience emotions and raising the tension the audience feels, and Kloves is way too repressed to engage in that kind of standard screenwriting).
This extends to the other characters too, btw. Book!Ron defends Hermione to Snape and gets detention for it, but Movie!Ron throws her under the bus when he calls her a know-it-all. Steve Kloves misunderstands Ron's lack of emotional intelligence in the books and writes him as insensitive and outright mean, which might explain Ron's whole "lol that was crazy!" comment at the end of GoF but I think that would be giving the writing more credit for its consistency than it deserves. It's clear that this whole final scene was a clumsy way to try to tie the film together and leave on an upbeat note (why???). The final shot of the Beauxbatons carriage flying off over the lake is just an alternate version of the end of PoA - it has nothing to do with the story, its ending, or where it's headed, and is a flimsy attempt at trying to make a frachise film go out on the kind of note a stand-alone film might. It's also just bad franchise storytelling: if you want hold people's interest so they look forward to the next film, leave them on a note of tension and anticipation. This was something Rowling (boo, hiss) understood fundamentally as a writer, and one of the reasons the books were so popular - she ends each chapter and each book on a note that makes the reader feel like they have to know what happens next. Kloves, instead, ends this film like PoA, on a note that conveys that all the loose ends have been tied up and there's nothing more to see here. Our heroes will walk off bravely into the sunset of the unknown but our time with them ends here. It's the wrong ending for a film like this .
But I digress. For four films Hermione is a two dimensional caricature in a "teen years of the future star of an old-timey-mysoginistic-mother-in-law joke" kind of way. She's the epitome of a female character written by a man who's never let a woman finish a sentence and feels attacked if she tries to. Her sole purpose whenever she's onscreen is to tell the other characters what's happening and what to do. (If you played a drinking game while watching any of the films where you took a shot each time Hermione feeds another character their motivation and character development, you'd be passed out before Voldemort is even mentioned). But suddenly at the end of GoF, because Steve Kloves needs to wrap up the film and at least vaguely address the whole "Voldemort's back and a child was murdered" thing, suddenly Hermione is the one asking the question of what's going to happen next. Her entire character is thrown out the window for the sake of making a scene work, and it doesn't. The reason her character is twisted out of its usual shape like this is because Kloves knows the scene doesn't work, but isn't a good enough writer to do it better. To make things worse, Hermione asks the question in the most laughable way possible. So laughable in fact, that even the writer who came up with this moment (was it his first draft or did he actually put work into getting here?) can't put a better reply in Harry's mouth than "Yes." And bless Daniel Radcliffe for his deadpan delivery that recalls the scene earlier in the film where Cedric asks how he is and he replies "spectacular," because it highlights what a low-effort, uninspired ending this is to the film.
Because Hermione's question is stupid. And not only is she not a stupid character, but Steve Kloves has framed her throughout four films as an infallible bastion of knowledge and information whose only reason for existing is to impart necessary knowledge on the other characters. And maybe if he'd written this whole ending scene better there might be an argument in favor of the idea that he was deliberately juxtaposing Hermione's role as omnipotent mother-nag with her apprehension to show how precarious and unpredictable the characters' future had just become, but even if that was his goal, it was poorly executed and as a viewer I feel insulted that they let his half-written first draft of a scene go straight to production. It just shows, yet again, that Steve Kloves doesn't see Hermione as anything more than a talking doll he can make dance on command, not a fleshed out character who's driven by her own perspective and motivations. You know, the way a good writer approaches characters.
And then she just accepts Harry's answer and demands her friends write to her over the summer - to which Ron says he won't and Harry replies sarcastically. As if Book!Ron didn't keep in touch with Hermione unless forced and Book!Harry didn't spend his summers getting through each day sustained by the letters from his friends and the knowledge he'll be back at Hogwarts and with them soon. As if his two best friends didn't mean the world to him. As if keeping in touch with Hermione was just another thing she was forcing them to do like an annoying mother who makes you clean your room and eat your vegetables. At this point, they walk off and watch the Beauxbatons carriage fly away (presumably as Harry thinks, "I did that on a broomstick last year, it was the most low-effort ending to a film ever, the final freeze frame is still a running joke 20 years later").
hey can we talk about the ending of the GoF movie for a minute
when Ron says, with a giggle,
"do you think we'll ever have a quiet year at Hogwarts?"
and the other two go, "no, LOL"
and then Ron goes, "oh well, what's life without a few dragons" which wasn't where the story ended up at all and also the first task was in like, October and since then there have been two more including one where a kid died and Voldemort returned but the trio are just like lololol dragons amirite
kind of like they just had another crazy adventure, a wacky old time at the kooky wizard school! you never know what's gonna happen!
except their crazy adventure was another student getting murdered and Harry almost dying. like that kid is dead. he is dead now. Harry watched it happen. two minutes earlier they were all crying in great hall during Dumbledore's speech and terrified at Voldemort's return but ok.
did anyone look at Steve Kloves or Mike Newell and go "hey buddy read the fucking room (or the book)"
because I can't get over the insane disconnect of the intensely dramatic end of the film and then the quick wrap up with the vibe of of "lol omg you guys that was so wild a kid we know died, isn't that bananas, anyway I wonder what's for lunch on the train home"
#if I ever met Steve Kloves in a dark alley I'd force him to eat his scripts page by page until he passed out#if he choked on it I wouldn't even feel bad I would just think the irony of it was apt

Hi! I wonder if I can request a romantic yandere concept for Grif from Red vs. Blue? I'm really interested what it's gonna be like.
Thank you and have a nice day!
Of course! I'm a Grif fan ^^; Thank you for yet another RvB request, I'll do my best -w-
Yandere! Dexter Grif Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Fear of abandonment, Obsession, Slight manipulation, Jealousy, Slightly possessive behavior, Delusional behavior, Slightly clingy behavior.
- Grif's rather interesting, he's typically self-centered at times but can also be loyal to people even when he hates them.
- In later seasons when he's away from people he also gets delusional, meaning he truly does hate being alone.
- Grif would be Loyal, Somewhat emotional, Caring, Fears being abandoned, Obsessive, Somewhat manipulative, Cold, Somewhat possessive/jealous, and Delusional.
- Grif, surprisingly or not, is somewhat similar to Simmons in obsession except he has a much easier time speaking with you.
- He acts like he hates everyone but he has soft spots for people he doesn't show.
- Unless it's you, people can tell just a bit that he likes you more than the others.
- While he may not seem to care for people, he will do things for you if you ask as he is still loyal.
- Grif likes to act like he doesn't care and loves to annoy people, although he can't turn down doing something for you....
- Even more so if it gives him an excuse to be with you.
- He seems like the type to try and be flattering to someone he likes but isn't all that good at it.
- He's better at it than most, at least.
- Grif can also be emotional as he cares for what people think of him.
- He likes to be seen as lazy although with you he tries to be seen a little better.
- He wants you to see him as good for you even if he is... not the best choice.
- He probably would be a little hurt if you said you didn't like him or something.
- He'll try to be caring around you and loyal.
- Oh, he'd throw Simmons or anyone else under the bus for you.
- Grif may fear abandonment, too.
- Like Simmons he doesn't like being alone even if he doesn't like the people around him.
- He'd be so irritated and concerned if you weren't around but tries to hide it.
- People can tell he is having issues overtime, though.
- He'll be better once he has you near him again luckily.
- Grif would be obsessive but not to the degree of Donut or Simmons, maybe Sarge too....
- Like he can go time without thinking of you, unless you're around then he will be all about you.
- Grif may also have the ability to be manipulative.
- Not as clever as a Freelancer like Tex, Wyoming, Washington, South, etc.
- Yet he is capable of it to a degree.
- Grif also comes off as cold towards you and others.
- Usually it's when you do something that upsets him or someone takes your attention away from him.
- He'll be so moody just to manipulate you into siding with him.
- Like you doing your own thing without him was bad somehow.
- This shows Grif could be jealous too.
- It takes longer than Simmons but other people being around you gets on his nerves.
- He won't harm anyone as that's effort but he may threaten them.
- Unless they're a threat to you or him.
- Lastly, Grif is delusional as most of Red team is.
- He believes what he wants to believe and probably thinks, out of everyone out there, he is the best for you.
- He slowly but surely finds out he loves you and dedicates what he can to you.
- He may not put too much effort into kidnapping or murder, but he does cling to you just enough to prevent you from leaving.
