Amalthea

Amalthea is the planet made by both the Aeon of Dreams and the Aeon of Nightmares. The description of Amalthea is a mixture of a gothic Victorian,Darkest Academia, gothic aesthetics in one single planet. Amalthea is a planet of mystery, knowledge, maturity, despair and curiosity. Aeon of Dreams and Aeon of Nightmares decide to make a planet that fits them well and Amalthea was born. 

Amalthea is also where Lysander and Isidore now live after running away from Jarilo-VI. Amalthea has a calming yet unsettling vibe when you enter Amalthea for the first time. Unlike Xianzhou Luofu who had a bad past with Yaoshi the Aeon of Abundance, Amalthea has an excellent past with Jasper the Aeon of Dreams and Juniper the Aeon of Nightmares. Amalthea has events where everyone lowered their guards a bit to enjoy the events with fellow natives of Amalthea. The natives in Amalthea are more wary of outsiders regardless of occupation as they love Amalthea but they already know Jasper and Juniper are watching over their planet. You do not see them but you know that they are watching. 

The shape of Amathea is a chandelier and natives have bridges to enter each part of Amalthea freely without trouble and fee. Amalthea has 5 parts of cities.

The first part is the gateway where any traveler can enter and/or leave Amalthea without a fee. The interior of the gateway is based on a dark royalty aesthetic with the couches, decorations, the walls, floor, ceiling even the gates themselves are based on the aesthetic of dark royalty. Soldiers, guards and some members of the secret organizations will be there to greet guests and tell them rules that they have to follow to avoid legal trouble.

The 2nd part is where events are held there and where the most shops, cafes, and stores are at. The aesthetic is dark academia as the surroundings. You can think of it as a middle part of the place like for example Liyue from Genshin Impact. 

The 3rd part is the parks, pools and some cities and towns. This part is the most peaceful and the most friendly out of Amalthea. The aesthetic is darkest academia but it has the comfy and mysterious vibe coming from the third part. 

The fourth part is the parks, gardens, lakes of Amalthea. A place where people can spend their time there with friends or alone in peace. A place where all the stress of everyday life washes away. The aesthetic there is a cottagecore

And the last part is forbidden to enter because of one thing. There is a secret organization where only those who kept secrets shall work there. Lysander and Isidore work there. There are punishments for trying to enter that part without a member’s permission. Some are light while others are..harsh. Darkest Academia is the aesthetic there.

Since that gothic anthy piece I've been thinking about a whole gothic rgu au... I'd really have to dig in deeper into indian-british history in order to develop this further (and to dress everyone more accurately) but I'm tentatively placing this in the 1830s... Akio could be an indian nobleman who worked with/for the east india company... Maybe did some shady stuff for it and was rewarded with a lavish mansion in the uk... Utena is some plucky orphaned girl who becomes his protégé... Anthy is the woman hidden away in the attic... But utena glimpses her at night... Mrs rochester core...

The Sea Miracles

Summary: Opposites attract. It is the term used for people who are complete opposites meet and fall in love. Well the saying is true but what would two people from different dorms meet. Love is a unique thing indeed.

People find love in mysterious ways.

Not only is the saying true and it makes two different people fall in love. In more ways than one. Daniel Jett Sterling had fallen in love with Isolabella Duvessa Tsukii aka Tsukii, the first vice warden of NRC’s Sapphire Lake Dorm.

How they meet is interesting to say the least. Daniel and Tsukii met during after class hours, they both bump into each other and Tsukii was the one to apologize for not paying attention as she was reading a book. “Hey..I apologize for bumping into you. I really should put my book away more often.” The girl said with a nervous smile as she was embarrassed of her actions. The merfolk just look at her in awe. He was taken back by her beauty and her appearance. He never saw any woman who had those features but her. Her burgundy red hair with light purple shaded ends, light tan skin, her eyes are heterchomia but her eyes have crimson red and amethyst purple colors in them. 

Daniel snapped out his trance when he noticed the girl was staring at him in worry. “Eh. It's no biggie. I’m Daniel. Daniel Jett Sterling.” Daniel introduces himself as the girl looks at him in curiosity before introducing herself back. “My name is Isolabella Duvessa Tsukii. It is a pleasure to meet you Daniel. Call me Isolabella or Tsukii.”

After that day, Daniel and Tsukii usually see each other at random times with random people. But they share common interests, one of them is music. Daniel is a DJ while Tsukii is a DJ too but she plays a different type of music with Daniel but she never likes showing her face towards fans or in public outside of NRC. Daniel noticed that the bookworm only comes to Octavinelle for drinks and some food and nothing else. He also noticed that she always has a book with her, knowing why she is called the silent bookworm by everyone in NRC. Daniel was the first one to take her order and even delivered her food, making small conversations with the said girl. Tsukii was shocked when Daniel has misophonia but she understands and shares a bit of information. She has a fear of being taken advantage of because what happened to her when she was younger, she ended vowing to close her heart so she will be okay. Daniel ended up vowing to treat Tsukii like a queen she is. Tsukii and Daniel are both careful with their actions and words towards each other, making sure that they are both okay. 

Tsukii was in denial about her feelings for Daniel as she worried about her heart breaking again. She was taken advantage of by so many people..that she had to close her heart away so she won’t be hurt again. But she knows that Daniel loves her but she knows that she never gets her hopes up. That is the lesson she learned years ago. As time passed, Daniel and Tsukii grew closer as everyone in NRC was confused and shocked when they saw Daniel and Tsukii together but the silent bookworm only gave vague answers which not only annoyed people but it made them want to know more. Daniel wanted to ask Tsukii out but he ended up overhearing Tsukii tell her close friends that her birthday is coming so she was excited for it. He later asks Jeanne when’s the girl’s birthday and he has the answer he needs. “January 23rd is her birthday. Why?” Jeanne asked Daniel with a sly smirk, making the male blush and confessed that he was planning to ask Tsukii out. 

 The mirror demon told Daniel a place in Sapphire Lake Dorm where Tsukii hangs out which is the gardens and told him where to find it. Daniel was excited but scared to be rejected by Tsukii but Jeanne reassures him that Tsukii may look cold but she is a sweetheart underneath the cold mask. She is positive that Tsukii will return his feelings. When Tsukii’s birthday comes, Daniel asks Tsukii to show the gardens which the girl happily shows him the way. Daniel loves the way Tsukii shows him Sapphire Lake Dorm and he will admit..Sapphire Lake Dorm is unique just like her. The two arrived at the garden and just relaxed there. Daniel decided to confess to Tsukii and closed his eyes in fear but..Tsukii spoke. “Silly. I love you too.” She smiles at him with her cheeks red and she is actually crying tears of joy. Daniel held her close to him and they both shared their first kiss.

In the background, Jeanne is watching the scene with a warm smile on her face. “I told you that you will find someone who loves you for who you are, Tsu-Tsu. You already found that person.” Jeanne leaves the scene with teary eyes, happy for Tsukii to find her love,proud of herself to tell Daniel about the garden and now wishes for the two to overcome anything together.

Love is agonizing but patient. That is Tsukii's new lesson. She found someone that sees her for herself and nothing else. This makes the silent bookworm drop her mask and smile warmly with tears of joy and happiness. ‘Finally..I can’t hide behind a mask anymore..I'm happy.’ Tsukii smiled at the thought. What a beautiful birthday gift.

Dēteriōrātus Voluntās - A Ghost Cow Short Story

TW: Starvation and self cannibalism. AO3 link here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4 days... 5 days...? Well, I've officially lost count now... My rations have ran out. My bodY thins and weakens as it consumes itself. I'm skin and bones with no meat. I have drunk my own urine out of thirst and gnawed at my fingers and arms for what little bits of food I can obtain. I have not slept since I have settled myself in this room. The room is pitch dark. I have a flashlight, but I do nOt want to turn it on and be horrified at the sight of my own body or potentially something else...

Yet I still remain. I still prevail. Everybody else in the hospital is now dead, I presUme. Except for me. I'm hidden. I'm safe. I'm sane. I'm content with this small, dark, comforting room. Sometimes I hear faint whispering in my ear. Sometimes I hear something walk past the door. Sometimes I hear groaning or wailing under me. Sometimes I feel something touch my shoulder. Sometimes I smell something enticing outside the door. Sometimes see straNge images and visions in the sparse moments where I close my eyes longer than I should. I can't say for certain whEther this is due to lack of sleep or something paranormal, but it doesn't matter to me. None of it matters. I shall stay safe and alive. Safe from the "ghost". I have read or heard of stories of all kinds of monsters, ghosts, and cryptids. Freaky, weird, and potentially dangerous abominations that poor souls would sometimes stumble across. One thing consistent with these stories howeVer, was that these creatures always had a reason for behaving how they did. Sometimes they were acting on purely animalistic instinct. Sometimes they had a strange and alien morality to them. And other times thEy were victims of a tragic past. Not the creature roaming around in the hospital though... no. This creature is something that I have never seen or heard of before. I have seen the things it has done. I have seen how it manipulates otheRs. I have seen how it controls. I have seen how purely sadistic and void of any soul it is.

It's not a ghost. It's not a demon. It's not a monster. It's something else entirely. Something that I can't wrap my head around. I don't know what this thing is, but what I do know is that it's not doing what it does out of any instinctive nature, alien morality, or vengeance for what it had previously gone through. It does not seem to have any big or meaningful goal. It just simply popped up here one day and began causing havoc. It's a petty creature. Made evident by the fact that it chose a hospital of all things to spread misery and suffering in. A place where people should be comforted and helped became a place Where people were tortured and killed. It knows what it's doing. It loves the suffering it's causing. It's doing this purely for fun it seems. Not too unlike a child burning ants with a magnifying glass or tearing the legs off a caterpillar one by one.

I suspect it's searching for mE. To manipulate and control. To cause me agony and delusion. Unfortunately for it, it will never find me. Others have tried ways to get rid of it. Suicide. Radiation machines. Breaking their own fingers or cutting off their hands. Giving themselves concussions. Quitting their jobs. Yet they all still died in the end. Such pathetic idiots. Why did none of them think of the simple and correct solution? Hiding yourself away, somewhere dark and unremarkable at a glance. Never falling asleep, as the creature can't haRm or possess me if I'm always on alert. Staying completely calm, not taking any notice to the odd things you see, hear, smell, or feel. You aren't in any actual danger. In the end, I am victorious. I am resourceful. I am safe. I am content. I am sane. ... I closed my eyes for too long again. I'm not safE in this room.
