This Hunter’s Moon is extra special this year because it is also a supermoon, which means that the full moon occurs when the Moon is closest to Earth in its elliptical orbit.⁣ ⁣ At its closest point, the full moon can appear up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than the faintest Moon of the year, which occurs when it’s farthest from Earth in its orbit. Even though 14 percent doesn’t make a big difference in detectable size, a full supermoon is a bit brighter than other moons throughout the year.⁣ ⁣ This full moon is also important to lots of different cultures across the world. As the full moon in the Hebrew month of Tishrei, this full moon falls near the start of Sukkoth, a seven-day holiday starting on the fifteenth day of the month. For Hindus, this is Sharad Purnima, also known as Kumara Purnima, Kojagari Purnima, Navanna Purnima Kojagrat Purnima, or Kaumudi Purnima. For Buddhists, this full moon marks the end of Vassa, the three-month period of fasting for monks tied to the monsoons. In Myanmar, this full moon corresponds with the three-day Thadingyut Festival of Lights, also known as the Lighting Festival of Myanmar. My full moon activities fluctuate from being these super elaborate rituals to being like “Hey Hekate can I just play video games in your honor for an unreasonable amount of time tonight 🥺” and She’s always like: “👍 go for it kid”

I take too much joy in imagining Werewolf! Hesh getting into goofy scenarios.

Like trying and failing to steal his brothers blanket for no reason other than to have it and then getting into a wrestling match that ends with Hesh in a headlock and Logan about to start biting him (Elias intervened before they could break something)

Or like gobbling down half a 12 inch supreme meat lovers pizza before the others can stop him and then sitting there still trying to get after the rest while chewing on the six slices he just crammed into his mouth (Yes he did use his lil half-human half-dog hands to grab the box but he just went with his mouth for the pizza itself.)

And then dragging Keegan down the hallway playing tug of war because Keegan wrapped the damn thing around his wrist and didn't expect Hesh to be so strong (Keegan spent a good 10 minutes before hand playing keep-away and riling Hesh up)

Then the less goofy but very wholesome scenario that is Hesh taking a nice content nap on the couch with his dad getting his head scritched (Presumably the same day all the other incidents occurred)

Watching him struggle through the change never got any easier. When the light of the full moon inevitably found him, he would always double over, arms wrapped around his middle while the audible sound of bones shifting could be heard where she was waiting several feet away. 

He didn’t want to accidentally hurt her during the change, advising her to always keep her distance. He would never harm her afterward, enough awareness between man and wolf to know who she was and what she meant to him. 

So, Tabby adhered to his wishes, knowing he would go off to do this alone if she didn’t. 

She never wanted him to be alone during the full moon.

Day 13 of Stabtober: Dating/Horror Sim. And I thought. Why not both?? So here it is. POV you're Julius Tear and you accidently found the horror route. @surprisestabtober Sonder's route is hard mode because if you leave him alone for too long or do something that annoys him whether he's in the scene or not he eats a heart. His route grows more seemingly hostile and unhinged the further along his route you go so it's *Impossible* to tell if you're on track to the good end or not. I also thought that an SMT style Moonphase Enemy hostility tracker would be appropriate for an Indigo Dating Sim. Some events can only be triggered on Full Moons or Eclipses and the Eclipse events specifically are terrifying. The horror happens when the sun can't see it.
