The Royal Engineer has foolishly stated that he can successfully steal from Eugene Fitzherbert, Corona’s former greatest thief. Sure, he’s left that life behind, but there’s no way that Varian can steal from him, right?

So, they make a bet. If Varian can steal Eugene’s Medal of Valour by midnight, Eugene will publicly declare him an Amazing Human/Genius. But that doesn’t matter, because Varian isn’t going to win.

It’s finished. It took awhile, but I’m genuinely really proud of how this came out.

Some Tangled Halloween Heist headcanons, inspired by @antiquepearlss’s fic

One year Arianna joins in and helps Rapunzel win the heist

Rapunzel ends up making a flag for the heist that they hoist up every year

Quite a couple times Varian ends up recruiting Brock into doing his bidding for him, mostly either stealing from Eugene or pretending to be him to trick everyone else

The year Rapunzel won, nobody even knew she was playing. Eugene and Varian kept thinking the other recruited her and she showed up both of them as payback

The heist after Cass finally comes home is complete chaos. Part of the castle caught fire, somebody broke their arm, and thanks to a spilled potion the animals were able to talk for a few hours

One year Max and Pascal won; much to the surprise of everybody

Cass’s first year she also briefly stole Meadow to help her out, much to Eugene’s panic

One year Varian actually used the heist as a surprise wedding for Jane and Faith. While everyone was off looking for and trying to steal the target, he made himself busy building a venue in the throne room

Do you think any of the Brotherhood would ever win the halloween heist if they visted?

Quirin is not a fan of the heists that is all I am going to say about him.

I don’t think Hector would have much of an interest in winning nor do I see him capable of pulling off a heist.

Edmund, I think he would try but he wouldn’t be very successful.

Sorry if this was already asked but do you think Pascal would ever win the Heist?

I think Pascal winning would be hilarious. I think that he, Max, and Ruddiger get fed up with the humans and win the heist that year. I mean, they probably know all their significant humans’ plans. It’s an easy win.

Unfortunately, neither Eugene or Varian think that counts and so they both consider themselves the winner that year.

Would Hugo, Nuru, or Young ever win the Heist?

So I don’t want to get too into spoilers, but Hugo will be showing up. Not until later, though. So stay tuned. And whether or not he participates or even wins, you’ll have to wait and see. (Remember how Jake hired a thief to help him win? I’ll be taking inspiration from that 😉)

Unfortunately aside from Varigo, I’m not really into Vat7k. I think it’s a great au but it’s not my cup of tea, so Nuru or Yong showing up is unlikely. Sorry.

But, from what I do know of Yong, I don’t think he could win the heist even if all of Team Radical helped him lmao. Nuru on the other hand, I can see her helping Varian and then stabbing him in the back and winning that year. She seems like she’s incredibly smart and a lil ruthless.
