Your Sky - Ep. 8 The Pink Episode!

It has to be tough being a communicative Yellow Yal who only wears blue now being in a fake relationship with a perfect Blue Boy.

Because Rak wants to tell Fah all his feelings, but Fah is just soooo perfect and he probably would NEVER want to be in a real relationship with Rak.

So thank goodness Rak has his buddies to to track him down when he runs away in fear like Pink Person Joy.

And Green Guy Type, who I'm pretty sure is in love or already dating Joy since he is wearing pink.

Because team work makes this Yellow Yal's dream work.

Since BOTH boys are in love with each other!

They've been for awhile.

And so have both of these fools!

But I get Black Brooder Real's hesitation.

It's clear that he is in love with Hia.

But Hia is a Red Rascal, so even though he balances out Real's stoic demeanor,

We can never be sure if he is just being his usual flirty self or if he really likes Real.

Like in his Real's room, I was unsure what Hia was doing, and so was Real.

Well, until the pink lighting fully showed up to do its job.

I think Hia knows Real's heart flutters for him but has been trying to tease it out of Real, like a Red Rascal would.

And he got results since pink = 💕love💕

These two color-coded boys are also getting results with their rooftop color-coded lights.

Fah confesses that he has liked Rak for a while, and shows Rak the picture he drew of him on the rooftop, in yellow.

Which goes well for both of them!

In fact, both brothers get their man by using the arts as their wingman since even Lee makes strides with his guy as the pink backs him!

But @poetry-protest-pornography, now I need to know if Lee's color is blue or purple since the book about the moon (aka him) was purple just like Lee's purple straw last week.

Because in a show where the iPad cases give the colors away,

I'm not sure since Lee's isn't purple.

But I confidently know his brother is a Blue Boy through and through.

Since Rak keeps wearing his color and even the smiley face display is happy from them.

Because in case the arcade plushie and everything else this episode offered didn't give it away,

They are color-coded boys IN LOVE!

Hope's little expression journey here when he remembers that Save is in debt to Boss (just like everyone else) and that's why he wants to keep their relationship secret, because Hope is an enforcer, a debt collector and, well, one of the cruelest ones. Yet Save obviously fell for him and wants to stay with him and it's so interesting to see.

It's even more fascinating to contrast Jack and Hope. Because we know Jack is regularly paying off everyone's debt while Hope isn't touching his boyfriend's but Jack and Hope both have items that are held to keep their loyalty and they're each fallen for someone struggling in a different way and it's just... oof.

And then we get into Arun and Tattoo which is the exact opposite of everyone else where Arun has no debt but a different kind of loyalty and Tattoo has nothing but debt and absolutely no loyalty and it's amazing and I cannot wait to see them develop. Because Arun has plenty of his own issues but he also has power that's different from anyone else is the show's, even Joke.

(They are all the dark boys, even if Arun is wearing white lace over his blackness, he has brightness but he has darkness at his core, the same way Hope has blackness outline his white shirt while Jack, oh Jack, has engulfed himself in the darkness as much as he can. @respectthepetty I love them all.)

Now that I have enough art to actually do this I decided to hop on the trend. Of course I am a few months late but if I weren’t would it really be me?

This is the moment that broke me this episode.

Because the line he crossed isn’t the boundaries they’ve already been screwing with. The line is the fact that he’s told Kao and Grandma he’s going to protect his heart. That he isn’t going to develop real feelings for Yoryak.

But this moment, watching Yoryak sleep with the most tender look on Dee’s face while the room is bathed in the softest pink light. As @respectthepetty will tell you, pink = love.

And this is when he chooses to walk into the living room, filled with the pink light of love, toward Yoryak. If not ready to admit it out loud, this is the moment that Wandee chooses Yoryak and his feelings for him and moves towards love.

He goes and just sits and watches Yoryak sleep with such affection

And then after the sweetest conversation about being unused to sleeping without Dee in his arms, the room flooded with pink and purple, Dee settles in as happy as ever.

And so is Yak.

Look at this man’s face. He’s so happy.

But then he seems to realize it. And we get this face.

And I think about last week and him insisting to Cher that he’s not so fickle to change his affections so quickly. And about how Wandee has been clear he likes to win and set up this fake dating scenario for a scholarship. So Yoryak does the thing that broke both me and Dee and asks about Taem…

Look how happy and content and at peace Dee is here…as he’s getting stabbed in the chest.

And then the pink and purple dials down a little as Dee’s hand slips away along with his happiness and security. But the pink is still there around his eyes. Because he’s still in love with Yoryak and he chose it.

And he says “Of course..”

Because Dee fell in love with Yoryak exactly how he is with neither of them trying. So how could Taem not also fall madly in love with an actively engaged in flirting Yoryak?

THE FOREHEAD TOUCH TO A PINK BACKGROUND

The Love Sea special episode said Blue = 💙Love💙!

I already knew that Tongrak and Mahasamut were color and fabric coded boys in love and the special really hammered it in. It also pointed something out that's been in front of my face this whole time!

We begin the episode with Mut waking up in blue patterned sheets.

He's looking at his calendar (on which the date is highlighted in blue) because Tongrak is set to return soon and there's blue decor on the walls and Rak's textures are in the wall hanging beside the bed.

In fact, the blue and patterns and textures are all over their house! The patterned rugs offer texture by nature, there's some decorative wood that adds texture to the walls and blue photos, there's blue in the pattern Mut is wearing, a blue patterned pillow on Rak's desk chair. Even my favorite chismoso Palm is sporting a blue patterned shirt as he helps Mut clean before Rak's return home.

Even on Vivi and Mook! One of them is in a blue pattern and the other in a textured dress and there's blue in their matching necklaces!

But that's not even the best part because LOOK at what Tongrak is wearing!

A SOLID COLORED SHIRT WITH A BLUE PATTERN ON THE POCKET OVER HIS HEART! THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THIS SHIRT:

Before, it was plainly obvious to literally everyone that Rak was in love with Mahasamut but Rak couldn't admit it to himself. He was still afraid and guarding his heart so there was a solid pocket on his blue striped shirt. But look at him now!

He's got his husband's patterns over his heart and he's kissing him hello after a month apart in front of Viviana and Mook and god and the ocean with zero hesitation.

AND THAT'S BARELY THE FIRST 15 MINUTES OF THE EPISODE! The blue and the patterns and textures just keep going!

Blue in the tag Rak gives Mut.

Blue patterns on their clothes and again on Palm.

Blue patterns in the pillows and texture in the blanket they rest on while they go to their romantic dinner.

Tongrak sleeping so peacefully absolutely surrounded by all the blue in their home.

Mut in his blue patterned shirt getting sent off to work with breakfast and a forehead kiss from his husband.

Blue patterns in the tablecloth and seat cushions at the dinner Mook forced them to attend after interrupting their pre-dinner appetizer.

A dinner which they promptly skip out on because they'd much rather eat each other instead, UNDER THE BLINDING BLUE JELLYFISH LIGHT OF LOVE!

And I've just gotta talk about this shirt.

Because Tongrak isn't just wearing a blue patterned shirt.

He's wearing the same blue patterned shirt Mahasamut was wearing when he left Tongrak's house and symbolically took the love that he'd confessed and that had been rejected with him.

There's no longer sad memories attached to that shirt! Only happy memories of Rak and Mut planning their future together and being so excited about it that neither of them can sleep!

And it's not only them who are bundled safely in the patterned blue of love!

Blue = 💙Love💙 and they've been telling us that since the finale aired!

There’s something going on with the red in 4 Minutes.

This was only the first episode (and I know more is coming since I've seen it in the trailer) but I'm already buzzing from seeing all this red.

(I would expand on it if it weren't for the Olympics. But, for now, this will have to do until the Olympics are over and I have time to write about color (including the contrast of dark/light that's present as well).)

Taishin in a yellow and blue jacket, and green and blue shorts. The green and blue sheets and blanket. Takara folding the items, in a very light blue sweatshirt, in front of blue curtains.

(not to mention how brave and protective Taishin was in that jacket with the yellow over his heart)

Happy of the End - Episodes 1 to 4 - Colours

Building on my last post I now have a boader theory what the colours in Happy of the End stand for.

Yellow are needs.

While it appears mostly in connection with Chihiro's need for human connection

It also appears with food

And Haoren

Blue is outsiderness and isolation

It mostly appears as the world Haoren grew up in

But is also the colour of Chihiro's highschool experience

And because of that green is the colour of closeness and society

And then there is red and its connection to sexual exploitation

Lastly there are blue and pink as character colour for Haoren and Chihiro based on the episode numbers

So we are hoping for green but colourless is fine

I wrote that I was forgiving whatever was happening with Yellow Yal Arm and Red Rascal Arc's colors in Perfect 10 Liners since this cast was large and their story is on the back burner, so I'm going to remember that in episode eleven.

Because I need to focus on the love brightening up between Green Guy Gun and Black Brooder Yotha.

And Warit finding a balance with his boyfriend Klao and taking this moment as a sign to "don't text your ex"

WHO IS YOTHA in the same colors as Klao!

But Yotha has found a match in Gun, who continues to make him smile.

Even though Gun is the only one who smiles around Yotha besides his brothers.

The Green Guy is just so bright. He is so light. He is so chill. He is so nosy.

And he already likes a Black Brooder who just happens to have a Blue Boy brother who likes to talk about his brother.

Hey, it's the Blue Boy bother who is also always smiling!

And Faifa gives Gun all the details about his brother's scandalous behavior!

I know some of y'all hate the red flag and green flag labels, but LOOK AT IT! ¡MIRA!

But Gun is a chill Green Guy, so although he is worried about Yotha, he doesn't judge him.

And in exchange for Gun's acceptance, Yotha gives Gun his color in the form of his jacket.

I loved every second of it.

Because Yotha is already in love!

He even lays next to Gun and watches over him as he is protected by his color.

And the next day, he gives Gun his number when he takes him to eat breakfast because he enjoys talking to Gun, or more like listening to Gun doing all the talking.

Normally, Yotha is by himself, isolated from everyone else. He only counts on himself.

But now that he is forcibly sharing his space with Gun, he is willingly sharing parts of his life with him since he trusts Gun to keep his secrets.

(And if this was still Chimon, my Never Let Me Go's bathroom scene heart would have burst at this bathroom scene)

Because Yotha trusts Gun, he gives Gun his color again and takes him to the red flag bar.

Yotha wants Gun to see all parts of him since he is already in love.

(And if this was still Chimon, my Dangerous Romance in the club heart would have burst at this club and grabbing waist scene)

But Yotha is too busy wanting to be a "good boy" to care about my heart since all he cares about his Gun's heart.

Unlike his brother who seems to care about everyone's heart.

Which is probably going to be the biggest barrier between him and his future (dark) Blue Boyfriend Wine.

Because it's difficult to know when you're a man's special someone when he gives everyone special care and Faifa has so many friends, which makes it even harder to get his attention.

But out of all Yotha's issues, that's not one of them. He only has one focus, and he is making sure Gun knows he is special.

Basically, these two brothers are night and day.

Thinking about how they switched shirts and colors while Yuan was gone but switched back before Yuan came back and how the lights and the darks are touching both of them now, bring them together again and the inside of Qian's collar being light.
