@thetoaddaddy continued xXx
The Haruno kingdom was built on peace.
They were small but were on good terms with all the neighboring kingdoms. The kingdom was known for its beautifully grown, natural cherry blossom trees. The flowers often painted the roads and town in pink. People came from all over to view the trees. Some came to have their weddings or honeymoons there. The people there were always welcoming. Even the royal family was welcoming to visitors, and even allowed some weddings to take place upon the castle grounds.
But the real treasure of the kingdom was not the cherry blossom trees, but the kingdom’s princess. It was long believed that the queen could not have children but due to a miracle, she became pregnant one day. A baby girl, born with hair as pink as the cherry blossom trees, and eyes greener than any emeralds. She was given the name Sakura and quickly became beloved by the people of the kingdom. Not only was Sakura blessed with beauty, but she grew up to be an intelligent and strong woman. One with a caring heart. Through years of study and practice, she learned healing magic to help the sick and injured. She also had a natural talent for strength enhancing magic that she could use in a fight if needed. Really, Sakura never expected to need it. A diamond shaped mark rested on her forehead as a symbol of her talent with the arts.
Many princes from different kingdoms tried to gain Sakura’s hand in marriage but she rejected every one. She wanted to get married when she decided to, and the kingdom was in no rush to make ties with another kingdom, so her parents respected her wishes.
But now… She wasn’t left with a choice.
In a single night, Sakura’s kingdom was destroyed. They were unprepared and taken off guard by the sudden attack. The once beautiful streets covered in pink were now painted red from people being needlessly slaughtered. The small army they did have struggled to protect the castle from the attack but it was all in vain. The castle was overtaken, the king and queen captured. Sakura was a lot harder to capture. She knocked out a lot of soldiers but eventually was overwhelmed and dragged into the throne room. Her dress was badly torn in places. Sakura was pretty roughed up, hair a mess. Her long hair became her downfall as one of the soldiers grabbed it and yanked her back towards him. She loved her long hair but at that moment, she wished she didn’t have it.
Sakura gave the tyrant a dirty look. She didn’t know who he was. He was from some unknown kingdom they didn’t know about. They were in good standing with most kingdoms. He must have known they were small, and weak and that's why he targeted them. It made her blood boil. She wanted to spat at him and tell him to go to hell but there was too much on the line to let her temper get the best of her. Her struggling stopped, and she looked at her mother, then her father, then to all the injured and dead that scattered the once proud throne room.
“Alright, I will marry you.”
“Sakura-!” Her mother gasp, but Sakura cut her off,
Tumblr media
“I care not about myself, I just want this senseless violence to end. I will marry you, give you everything you want, just leave my kingdom alone. They have suffered enough, now could you please let me go and allow me to heal my father?”
The princess kept a brave face, but really she was a bit scared of what was in store for her being this tyrant’s wife. She knew what was expected of wives; support their husbands, have heirs, just be happy. But Sakura was strong willed, and will not stand aside and be some submissive woman. She will make sure this tyrant quickly learns that.

“I would much rather the food go to someone that would enjoy it too.”
Sakura was far from bothered by his eating habits. He was a large man, it only made sense that he would eat in large amounts. The only reason she wasn’t fully digging in was she was trying hard to be a proper lady. She didn’t want to do anything that might repulse him or ruin her chances of being picked to be his wife. Her parents would kill her if she failed. Sakura smiled brightly, “I hope so. They deserve the praise for all the hard work they put into this.”
She really hoped they didn’t go overboard because she was here. Sakura didn’t deem herself special enough to make a fuss over. A pleasant silence fell between the two as they ate their food. Sakura admired the scenery. Enjoyed the soft sounds of nature around them. The flutter of wings. Birds chirping. The splash of the koi fish in the pond. It was all so beautiful. The garden was all neatly kept. Nothing seemed out of place or messy but not so neat that it took away from it looking and feeling natural. She liked that the silence between them was peaceful. It made her feel at ease and relaxed. They were enjoying each other’s company without having to have long conversations. Admittedly, she could be a chatterbox at times, but at the moment, she had no urge to be.
“Mm? Only when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, otherwise it’s a bit of a dull view.” Sakura admits, looking back over to him,
“But- I’m not often permitted to eat in the main hall like this. My father does not like people gazing upon me before marriage and I am a bit of a walking target being a princess. So I’m usually held up in my room most days. This is the most I’ve been out in ages. It’s wonderful!” Her bright smile widened a little bit more. To her, what she said wasn’t odd at all. It’s just been her life up until this point,
“I bet it’s beautiful all year. Each season bringing it’s own special kind of beauty to the area. I’d love to see it all…” She trailed off, her gaze returning back to the scenery,
“Do you usually eat here with other people? I am not causing anyone to eat in loneliness, am I?” Sakura looked back at him a bit concerned.
The soft audible gasps were enough to affirm Madara that he made the appropriate choices for her. He half expected a petulant girl that wanted all gold-gilded dishes and expensive cuisine. All of which the Uchiha didn't have himself and would have led the whole first impression down into disappointment.
Which is part of the vetting process, after all, but still would have been a headache to deal with either way.
Resting on the cushion on his side, sweeping his sleeves off of his lap and his wrist to the edge of the table, he joined her with a short prayer and thanks for the food. "Whatever you don't finish, we can pass along to the kitchen and save for later," he suggested, if she cared. If not, then someone else will likely eat it so the fresh fish won't go to waste.
Taking the simple plate, he held it up to pick at the many trays before him and choosing immodestly. He was a soldier, so it shouldn't scare her to see his eating habits plus this was a celebration. It'd be a waste if he didn't take advantage of the opportunity. "I'm sure they would be flattered to be commended by you, princess," he complimented her with sincere nod as he sat down proper once again with a full plate.
The first several bites were in silence, allowing him to sit back and take in the scenery through the open window nearby them. It wasn't often that he was afforded the luxury to sit in silence at meal time without a crowd of noble clans members, or even his own brother, sitting nearby chatting up a storm in the central room. The sense of community was palpable, but sometimes he rather enjoy the trickle of spring water over flat rocks and the sound of leaves rustling under a bird's wings.
"Do you get to experience such a scenic view back in your country?" Madara eventually broke the silence and asked, wanting to learn more about her. "We were fortunate enough to take base in a woodland area this Autumn, so we have the view of the trees this time of year."

The Royal Game - chapter three
Hyunjin is a prince. Felix is a prince forced to be raised as a princess by his mother's wish for a daughter.
At a ball, the two meet, and Hyunjin falls in love at first sight. Hearing about their encounter, Felix's mother forces him to try and win over the Prince's approval. What will happen when Hyunjin finds out Felix's secret? Will their wedding go ahead?
Genre; romance, royalty au, fluff & angst, slow burn
Warnings; forced feminisation, gender identity issues, sexuality issues, narcissism

Cherry Blossoms are another spring blooming flower, that I think suits because it is spring in the story and Felix is from the Spring Court. Cherry Blossoms have become associated with living in the moment, taking time to appreciate things as they are at present, and not always looking at the distant future that is bound to change. They can also symbolise femininity. In this chapter, Felix is trying not to focus on how he has to try and win Hyunjin's heart. Instead, he tries to enjoy what he is wearing for the ball and how he feels beautiful in it. I also rewatched the skz vlog of Felix, Hyunjin, and Jeongin getting their personal colour theory done. Lighter, pale tones suited Felix more, so I designed his dress off of that. Cherry Blossom petals are also a light pink color, which I feel like it makes it a good choice. Aha, I feel like I'm sitting my English exams again when I'm analysing like this. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Word Count: 1.1K

Felix stared at the dress on the mannequin his mother had made for him. The rose-pink and ivory satin ball gown had been specifically designed for the Summer Cout ball. She wanted Felix in light colours that made his skin glow and showcased the Spring Court.  As the daughter of the Spring Court’s capital, it was only right that he stood out compared to the others.
The dress’s bodice was a puffball sleeve, off-the-shoulder, ivory top, topped with a rose-pink corset that laced up with an ivory ribbon in the back, and came down in a ‘v’ at the front. A petticoat was hidden under a layer of ivory satin, then an ivory lace with cherry blossoms embroidered across and bunched into ruffles at the hem. On top, a rose-pink satin curtained around the back and sides, leaving the front open for the lace to be seen. As Felix walked the satin would shimmer underneath. On his bed, a matching cloak was folded along with a pair of ivory long-sleeve gloves, and a pearl necklace.
Felix couldn’t deny that it was beautiful and that he was excited to wear it, however, the dress was a reminder of his duties for the night. His mother would most likely be monitoring him the whole time, while also trying to get him near to the Prince. Felix hoped Minho would be able to come up with an excuse to let him hide away for a bit, even if it was just for a minute.
“Are you ready, Your Royal Highness?” Chaeryeong said, coming to stand beside the Princess—a set of towels folded across her arms.
Felix hummed. At least he could enjoy the night knowing that he did feel beautiful in the dress.
“I’m glad you like it, daughter.” Felix’s mother stood to his other side. She wanted to see Felix’s expression when he first saw the dress and could easily say she was pleased when Felix broke into a wide smile. “I believe you are going to outshine many there.”
“Thank you, mother, for having this wonderful dress made for me.” Felix’s appreciation was genuine.
“Good, now let’s get you bathed and glistening.” His mother led the way and watched over as Felix was prepared. It was bad to think of her daughter as a product, but everyone had their duties.
“Have you been remembering the information I got for you about Prince Hwang Hyunjin?” Felix’s mother spoke, looking at his reflection in the mirror as his hair was dried and styled.
“Yes, mother. You may test me.” Felix worked hard to not disappoint or risk offending his mother at the ball.
The Queen cleared her throat. “Very good. I’ll start easy then they’ll get more difficult. Your first question is, when is the Prince’s birthday?”
“March twenty-fifth. Today is his twentieth birthday. There are one-hundred and seventy-four days between our birthdays.”
The Corner of the Queen’s lip lifted into a small smile as Felix replied with more information than needed. “Where did the Prince grow up?”
“In the capital of the Summer Court, the Dawn region. He grew up with his Cousin, Princess Hwang Yeji, she will also be attending the ball and is someone I should try to befriend.”
The Queen hummed, happy with the answers. “Yes, Princess Yeji will mostly be next to Prince Hyunjin for much of the night. I believe her opinions will be taken into account by the Prince. Next question, who is the third cousin?”
“Prince Nishimura Riki. He lives abroad.”
“Yes, however, he is currently here with his mother. His mother and the Prince’s mother shall be overlooking all the women who enter the ball tonight. Make sure that you look presentable and be well-behaved at every moment. If you try and eat a grape and miss your mouth, or disrespectfully chew with your mouth open, it will ruin your chances. I already feel like you’re at risk since your attendance record is low. From now on, you are no longer allowed to avoid making public appearances. I need you to be loved.”
Felix glanced at his mother. “Of course, mother.”
“Next question, what are the Prince’s hobbies?”
“He enjoys training and fighting, but he also likes to read. The Prince has said that reading helps to calm him down after practice, it also teaches him new techniques and tactics.”
“Close friends?”
“Lord Lee Dweahi from the Spring Court. His family lives over in the East. He will also be attending the ball.”
“Yes, Lord Dweahi is an… interesting character. I do hope he doesn’t cause too much of a commotion with his drinking. I’m sure the Prince will keep him in check to not embarrass himself. Anyway, you’ve done well with answering my questions, so I’ll only ask you one more; what is the Prince’s favourite food?”
“Sushi, and for fruit it is watermelon. He doesn’t like onions, carrots, and eggplants.” Felix let out a deep breath, no longer feeling like he was in the prosecution chair. He’d managed to answer all his mother’s questions, now it was only a matter of time until he had to meet the Prince.
Chaeryeong stepped back, letting the Queen have a full view of Felix’s hair and make-up. “All done, Your Majesty.”
The Queen stood from the cushioned chair she’d reclined in, wearing a tight-lipped smile as she stood behind her daughter—hands on his shoulders. “Marvellous, I have no doubt in you getting the Prince’s attention this evening.”
Felix returned the smile—he looked so much like his mother. Chaeryeong had styled Felix’s hair into a bun with a series of curls hanging down, framing his face. He didn’t like how his make-up covered up his freckles, but he couldn’t go against his mother’s word, especially on a night like tonight. His lips were a soft pink, the same that dusted around his eyes. The bottom of his eye line had been traced black with kohl. The kohl was also used to darken and extend his eyelashes.
“Oh, daughter,” his mother sang—a sign her next words may not be so loving “Tonight, you’ll represent the Spring Court, the capital’s family, and me.” There it was—the sign for Felix to play puppet.
His mother proceeded to open a wooden box on the vanity table. Taking out the tiara, she places it on Felix’s head. The tiara was made of platinum branches donned with diamonds cut to make flowers. A single tear-drop diamond hung from the tiara’s peak.
Felix’s smile grew feeling the weight of the tiara on his head. A part of him couldn’t deny that he truly felt beautiful.
His mother hummed with Felix being ready for the ball. “Let’s go, daughter. It’ll be good to get there a bit early and talk with the others there.”
“I’ll see you later, Chaeryeong.” Felix hugged her goodbye once his mother had left the room.
“Good luck,” Chaeryeong wished, giving him a wink.
“Thank you,” Felix giggled and hurried after his mother.

Two Drifters | 3/3 Jeronica Secret Santa
@fangstomysweetpea oh my god.... its finally time!!!
The moment i’ve been aching for is finally here and i am HYPE
Happy Christmas my dear Tumblr-friend, I hope you enjoy this jeronica playlist/au/riverdale rewrite.
A couple things first, the descriptions on each song are just an outline as to whats happening in that moment/what the song calls for. Also, this is like a story, so its not really something you can play on shuffle lol. I’m confident you didn’t really need these “instructions” lmao, just want you to have a bomb-ass jeronica experience XDD
Also, you don’t have to “follow” the descriptions when you think them out, you can completely take the reigns too if you’d like!
So.... here ya go!!
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1MflcKtyBDRjnP0giX03X4?si=ZcsD0GfxR0KevhgDpTZVKQ
And here are the descriptions-
Oxford Comma-
Locking eyes for the first time… wow. Just- everything is in slow motion.
Baby Doll-
Slow dancing in Pop’s after the dance. (V goes to Pop’s instead of Archie)
Can I call you tonight?-
Jughead and Veronica’s moments of glee when they finally set up a date with each other. Veronica squeals and jumps up and down, Jughead punches the air, they both fall down on the bed with blissful looks on their faces. Two cinnamon rolls.
“So, I’ll call you tonight?”
“Yes! *Too enthusiastic- calm down Veronica* Yes. Call me tonight.”
*Que music*
Just Like a Movie-
Jughead calls this their theme song one day when they’re just hanging out in the student lounge as a joke.
Scrawny-
Veronica calls this Jughead’s theme song in response, they have a good laugh and Jughead rolls his eyes at the lyrics A LOT.
Space Girl-
Jughead calls this Veronica’s theme song- because she’s “oUt oF tHiS worLD!”.
She smacks his arm for being so cheesy.
Good Morning-
The morning after they do the “horizontal tango” with each other for the first time, they dance in Veronica’s kitchen, knowing all the words- only to be interrupted by an amused Hermione Lodge.
Unforgettable-
Their first Christmas together, spent snowed in at The Pembrooke. But honestly, they don’t mind.
Shake it out-
Jughead and Veronica cry together after her parents blackmail them/force them to break up. #parentssuck.
Your star-
Coping with the breakup, newsflash- they aren’t, or when they are... they don’t go the healthiest route. So. Much. Angst.
Rare-
Veronica changes up her style a little bit, which really is just lower cut tops, just trying to forget about Jughead- does a lil sexy performance singing to this at a pep rally.
Out the door-
Jughead never leaving the depressional stage of grief.
+ Exchanging broken looks that just scream “I’m not over you.”
I can’t get you off my mind-
Drunkenly hooking up at a party because their tension recently had just been… w o w
Drugs-
Sneaking around- sexy times ;)
Why Do You Love Me-
Having a screaming match, then a very angry/hot makeup session, then very angry sex XD
The Wind-
After some hOrIzOnTaL TaNGo at Sweetwater River, they admit that they can’t keep away from each other, saying that they love each other for the first time- followed by Veronica crying tears of joy cuz she’s never done that before- and that they’re going to work everything out, together. They just hold each other after that.
“I love you, Princess.”
Veronica props herself on her elbow to face him (they were laying down before)
Jughead sees her widened eyes. “Y-you don’t have to say it back, I know its ha-“
“I love you too, Jug”
You and I-
Montage of working at Pop’s for summer, ending with a jam sesh in Jughead’s trailer- Veronica just in his shirt and Jughead just in his sweats. FP comes in, surprised to see Veronica, but welcomes her easily. FP and Veronica bond, and he embarrasses Jug with some baby photos. While Jug’s probably beet-red, he can’t help but completely oggle at Veronica- happy that they don’t have to hide from his dad anymore.
Start a Riot-
Jeronica send a little message to Hiram through security cameras (they just make out lmao), showing that he can’t keep them apart. They then proceed to trash Hiram’s jingle jangle lab. :)
Moon River-
Slow dancing after having been crowned homecoming King and Queen. And of course, because Veronica is 1/2 of this relationship- this becomes their song.
“That’s us.”
“What do you mean?” Veronica asks, confused.
“The two drifters in the song. ‘Two drifters, off to see the world.’ That’s us”
Veronica’s eyes start to gloss.
“I absolutely love that. And you.”
Teenagers-
Being the badass power couple they are, being 100% team Serpent against the Bulldogs during the riots. Its all one long shot too- no cuts :))
A Sunday Kind of Love-
Looking at each other in slow motion (wow- I really love putting stuff in slow motion) when Veronica is officially named Serpent queen, they’re absolutely smitten with each other. Cut to them dancing in the Wyrm to the song, discussing how they’re going to make their big debut as Riverdale’s resident power couple… second to Choni of course.
“So… now that I’m your queen, I was thinking had a debut of sorts. Just to educate the public of this new order.” Veronica jabs, only kind of joking.
Jughead laughs, but it sounds more of a huff.
“Could you settle for a hand-in-hand entrance at school? Or would you be more comfortable with a red carpet event?”
Glory-
Veronica and Jughead walking into school as Serpent Royalty with matching Serpent jackets- no special colours thank you very much. You can bet your ass its in slow motion.
Worlds Apart-
Veronica crying at Jughead’s bed-side after the Ghoulies fuck him up.
Boss Bitch-
Veronica gets revenge on the Ghoulies and Penny Peabody with the help of the female Serpents, the River vixens, Hermione, Betty, and Alice.
Le Symbolique-
Veronica and Jughead reunite from his state of unconsciousness, this whole sequence is in slow motion, with a lot of white lighting/glare. Jughead almost died and just that thought alone KILLED Veronica.
“Jug I was so scared-“
“Shush Ronnie, let me look at you.” His teary eyes trace over Veronica’s face with a beaming smile, before he brings his girlfriend closer and kisses the top of her forehead.
Harmony Hall-
Some core four bliss before it gets chaotic again, with a side of Jeronica and Barchie cuddles.
Not Your Barbie Girl-
A River vixen performance, Jughead is so fricken in love with Ronnie right now cuz she’s just RADIATING empowerment.
Therefore I Am-
Jeronica sends Hiram to jail again after a bomb ass one liner from Veronica:
“Mija, you have no idea what you’re doing.”
“Only one thing’s false in that sentence Hiram, I’m not your Mija anymore.”
(HELP ME I CAN’T WRITE)
*Proud Jughead smirk*
This Life-
Veronica meeting JB and Gladys, them getting along great- just a wholesome Lodge/Jones get-together.
Don’t Call Me Angel-
Veronica changes her name to Luna, fully emancipating herself from Hiram, and this gets Jughead really turned on XD
Sway With Me-
La Bonne Nuit’s first successful night, Josie, Veronica, Toni, and Cheryl perform. Veronica somehow convinces Jughead to dance with her in public. Think Moulin Rouge’s Diamond Dogs type editing.
My Oh My-
Getting screwed over my Hiram, Veronica is in a TON of debt and needs some “stress relief” with Jughead. He obliges. Happily.
HIP-
Veronica and Cheryl start their rum business, Jughead helps and oml he’s so proud of her. Btw, Cheronica are HUGE badasses right now.
Bury a friend-
Surviving Eversgreen Forest and Penelope Blossom…
Youth-
The core four are free from the forest, successfully escaping Penelope Blossom. Jughead and Veronica share a tearful but happy kiss, laying down on the back of a truck.
Don’t Take The Money-
The core four hang out at pops and promise to have fun this senior year, Jughead steals Veronica’s cherry from her milkshake, but being so vulnerable to Midget’s (He calls her Midget. Yup.) puppy dog eyes, he makes it up to her by sharing his fries.
“And for a brief, shining moment, we were kids again.” all that good shiz
The Four Seasons: “Winter”-
Jeronica hangs with the Stonewall psychos.
(Online Love)-
Veronica and Jughead FaceTime and Veronica has this vibe like she’s the montage of the hero’s dead girlfriend in a movie. Like her hair is all splayed out on her pillow and she’s all smiley-
“You look like an angel right now- with your hair like a halo and how much you’re smiling.”
Veronica laughs
“Well it’s your fault I’m smiling you idiot.” Her voice softens towards the end of the sentence.
“I love you too, Ron.”
El Tejano-
Party at Stonewall, Jeronica are absolutely WASTED. Fun fact- Jughead get’s really into PDA when he’s drunk
Burned Out-
Oh shit… I guess Jughead is dead now. (dw, Betty’s still the one who “kills him”)
Claire de Lune-
Just kidding, he’s alive, and he and Veronica have a really cute moment in the bunker. Veronica starts reading his novel, per his request, and he just starts playing this on the record player and she smiles but her eyes are still on the book. He just kind of watches her, and when she starts beaming at the book he can’t help but kiss her right there. Then they just cuddle and little bit, Veronica on Jug’s lap, reading the book some more.
Girls Like GIrls-
Veronica has to prove Jughead is dead, so she and Betty kinda sorta… make out. Like, a lot. Betty is dating Archie at this point, and he’s the one who gets “mad”. But basically Betty and Veronica end up making out again cuz they spot Donna watching them. Veronica is a bi con, and Betty might be too but everyones in denial so *shrugs*.
Dream Lover-
(Time skip, because I’m lazy) Jughead’s alive again, sadly, his spot at NYU was taken by well, Veronica. Luckily, after pulling some strings, she surprises Jug with a full-ride acceptance letter from NYU starting second semester.
Magic Moments-
Yay! Prom! Barchie gets crowned king and queen (Beronica was kind of forgotten about, but thats fine, because we’re here for Jeronica first). While Betty and Archie are totally lost in each other, Jughead and Veronica are just kind of joking around on the side. While it’s Barchie’s moment, Jeronica is still looking pretty damn cute rn. Also, this becomes Barchie’s song!!
Oxford comma-
The song comes through the speaker at prom, Jughead invites Veronica to dance. As they sway, they gaze at one another like they’re seeing one another for the first time, to the song that started it all.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
And thats it! Thats Jeronica’s story from season one to season four, I hope you have a very merry Christmas and I hope you liked your presents! Also, if anyone feels like adding on to the dialogue or using any of the points in a fic or even making a whole ass fanfiction- please do!! I didn’t do this justice with my mediocre quotes so it would actually be preferred XD.
And again, happy Christmas :))

Like, there’s a lot I’d like to go back and change, but at the end of the day it was my baby for a good two plus years and there’s a lot of personal stuff sprinkled in there. It kinda shows my emotional progression throughout high school in the story, and while that’s def not why I wrote it, it’s cool to go back and look at it sometimes to see the things I used to say/think about. Plus it’s one of the only massive projects of mine that I’ve actually completed, lol.
Also I have a lot of love for amc just bc it’s so… different, I guess? Like, I’ve never really seen something like it fleshed out into a full-length story, especially not with silver and blaze. And the fact that it rlly touched several ppl and got them rlly into it… that makes me feel kinda accomplished when I’m not being a self-deprecating prick lmao. I rlly rlly wanted it to be my first fic to get to 100 reviews for a reason!
2) favorite tense (past/present/future)Definitely past, I tried present with the unforgiven and it just made it frustrating to write, lmao.
3) favorite POV (first/second/third/etc)I prefer writing in first person, actually. I think it simplifies things for both the writer and reader, and I’ve always found a lot more freedom to be creative when I write in first person.
4) what are some themes you love writing about?Lmao well, obviously romance is priority one for me, so most of my themes stem from that. I rlly love writing about class struggle tho, whether it’s someone low who’s aiming high or a noble who isn’t satisfied with such a high class. Morality also comes up a lot in my writing, I guess; tryna figure out what the right thing to do is, tryna figure out if this character actually did the best thing, all that good stuff!
5) what inspires you to write?Definitely music… sometimes I’ll stray from it and pick up some inspo from movies/stories/etc, but 99% of the time I’ll be listening to a song and suddenly come up w a fic idea from it lmao.
6) thoughts on critiqueI encourage it!! bc I think it’s the only real way to improve. Sometimes it can make me feel bad if I’m in one of those rlly shitty self-deprecation ruts, but still I usually get over it soon even when I’m like that. I know it’s for the better, and I appreciate everyone who’s ever been kind enough, and cared enough abt my writing to give me critique!
7) create a character on the spot…. NOW!UMMMM OKIE,,, what abt a snow leopard named Kyra… she likes to sit around n read n eat noodles… her main hobby other than reading is dancing. she’s v shy but she loves her close friends n BAM I just made her gay. She’s a lesbian, harold.
8) is there a character you love writing for the most? the least? why? Most - probably silver… his personality is always one I’ve gotten a lot of joy out of writing. He’s basically a walking contradiction, lmfao. He’s also pretty easy for me to self-project onto, idk why. Least - I’m gonna say amy for this one, just because it’s been hard for me to focus on more than one aspect of her personality and flesh all of it out. Plus amy is a somewhat overused character lol, I get a lot more fun out of writing blaze/tikal/others when I need a female role, even if it’s something simple
9) a passage from a WIPOh u kno I gotta dip into royalty au for this one 👀
It was nearly a fortnight before any word was received from King Pyrus. It came in the form of a small parcel addressed to Blaze, which held a note inside for her. The young princess jumped at the feet of the servant who had brought it in, and once it was lowered into her hands, she hurried to her chamber. Once there, she closed the door behind her and jumped on her bed, unable to contain her excitement. With a careful claw and an eager expression, she tore the parcel’s paper away. Before looking at what it contained, she snatched the note from her father, and brought it to her face. It read:
My Little Flame,
I am sorry I could not write to you sooner. I remain busy, but I finally began exploring, and I found something I think you will simply adore. It is a traditional robe (I believe it is called a kimono) from here in the Eastern Isles. It is just as beautiful as the land, and just as special as you are to I, my dear. We must make plans to bring you here one day, it astounds me each time.
Do not fret about the ongoings in the world, how ever much you have heard. Kiniti watches over us at all times, and she will ensure peace among all kinetics. Hopefully, I will depart in the coming few days, and we will see one another soon.
With love,Father Flame
Blaze, of course, merely skimmed over the second half of the note as a formality. She laid the message aside, and her jaw dropped once she held the kimono out. It was a beautiful shade of dark purple, with an equally enchanting design. Trails of dainty cherry blossoms sat on rugged branches, which climbed up either side of the robe. The silk seemed to melt between Blaze’s fingers; it was the softest material she had ever felt. She rubbed one of the sleeves against her cheek, and purred into it. When she turned the robe over, she gasped. A large, pink bow was already tied at the back, as if it had been made just for her. She slipped the kimono over her shoulders, and although the sleeves hung low over her arms, the length was just right. Blaze tied the pieces of ribbon at her waist, just as Pyrus had taught her, and words could never express how delighted she was with the gift. She could not wait to show her father once he returned.
As Blaze was fitting her tail through the bow on her back, Baxton entered the room. Whenever Pyrus was absent, it was usually Baxton who took up the king’s general duties. He signed letters, addressed the people, attended court; it kept him quite busy. The only responsibility he didn’t inherit was any control of he army - the sole post he would be familiar with. Quite the chore it was, but Baxton was always fond of his temporary sovereign role. At least in terms of the power he held, that is. In fact, Blaze assumed that he had been yelling at some servants not too long ago, judging by his flushed face.
The elder cat scratched his head. “Princess, did the king leave a letter?”
Blaze pointed to the note on her bed. Baxton scurried to it, and frowned as he glanced over the elegant handwriting. “Is this it?” he quizzed.
The princess nodded, and held her arms out with a smile. “Look, Baxi! Look at what father sent me!”
Blaze couldn’t quite tell what Baxton’s expression conveyed, but it was something between a smile and a scowl. The note crumpled in a quick motion from Baxton’s fist, and was thrown back onto the bed cover. Blaze didn’t think much of this as Baxton hurried out, and she walked to her mirror to admire the kimono again.
10) what are your strengths wrt writing?Hmm… I get a lot of ppl saying that I’m pretty eloquent when it comes to phrasing/word choices? I’m constantly tinkering with how things are said, even up until like 30 seconds before I publish smth lmao. I also like to think I never just string sentences together and leave it at that when I’m narrating, I pay a lot of attention to how different sentences/phrases flow together.
11) what are your weaknesses wrt writing? My main weakness would probably be going overboard on all the little things, like how a sentence sounds or flows and stuff like that. I end up being a perfectionist with it, and sometimes when I’m crafting/changing phrases around, I end up with a sentence that kinda drags on or tries to do too much.
12) what’s your favorite place for writing resources?Tumblr’s pretty good for me, actually. I rarely ever seek out resources, but I do reblog a lot of them that come to me here and they’ve been very useful to me in the past.
13) who are your favorite writers?Ok first off binch u@aurora-boring-alis (FF: aurora-boring-alis) Then my other peeps who also make the quality goodness™™ I can’t get enough of (some fanfic accounts more active than others)@maliwarm (FF: biteworsethanbark) @lordoftheghostking28 (FF: lordoftheghostking28) @weezernaut (FF: space mercutio)@ebachan (wattpad: witto150)

Sakura gave him a complete stink face at the suggestion, “Why would I bare my breasts to the man that groped me? Besides…” Her face turned a bit pink, “I’d rather not give people the excuse to mock my small chest.” Now that she could understand the language, she picked up that she was mocked for just about everything. Mostly her size. It’s not like she had a choice over coming here, or being married. It was annoying how Jiraiya was so well respected, while she was taunted like a child. Hopefully tearing these men a new one will grant her some level of respect.
“I’m aware you weren’t the one that put me in all of this. The woman that dressed me was just so excited about the event that she kept adding things onto me… I didn’t have the heart to stop her. The jewelry is quite pretty. Like nothing my people have. It’s just not something to be fought in. I’d hate for anything to get broken.” Even though everything these people made seemed to be incredibly sturdy.
Her expression brightened at the sight of Mina, her maid. Seemed they were quite fond of each other. Sakura turned back to Jiraiya as he placed a kiss on her hand. A grin rested on her face, “You should be wishing your men luck. They’re going to need it.” Pulling her hand away, she pulled her crown off her head and placed it on the table, “Watch that for me, dear.~”
Sakura stood up and followed Mina out so she could change. She was quite eager to get out of this heavy wedding dress.
Mina had to help her get out of all the heavy jewelry, and remove the dress without ruining it. Sakura was so frustrated with the dress she was about to rip it off. Sakura felt pretty comfortable being naked in front of Mina, but not so much anyone else. Which is why Sakura insisted Mina remain her maid. Sakura felt so much better once she was in the lighter clothing, though it damaged her pride a little bit that they were children’s clothes. Children’s clothes that were still a little baggy on her. Sakura put on the bare minimum to cover herself, not wanting anything to get in her way. This outfit at least showed that Sakura was well toned, and muscular. Unlike the dress that made her look small and skinny. Mina watched in amazement as black lines starting from the diamond on her forehead covered Sakura’s body. Her eyes looked more slit now along with more pointed ears. Sakura explained that the diamond was how she controlled her power.
After Sakura was good and ready, she was led back out with everyone. She hopped down to where the men were waiting, grinning confidently,
“As is the tradition of my people, the accused are allowed the first move. I suggest you make it a good one, it might be the only one you get.~”
Jiraiya shrugs. They aren't total savages. Should anyone force themselves on another they are put to death. Touches like that are on the line of legality, but hey that's why they settle for beating the shit out of each other for such grievances. It's a better teacher than any words of warning. Should she want to implement a new law she can.
He's interested to see this balance of corruption and purity. Perhaps this environment is more corrupting. All the more reason for her to fight. What kind of person will Sakura grow to be here in his deep mountain halls, he wonders. She gives off an aura of sweetness and light. Hopefully she lights this place up, not fade away.
He found it kinda cute, albeit more attractive, to see her so offended at being called scrawny and showing off her well built arms. Alas he won't share that. They're far from sleeping with each other. He doubts she'd find his praise for her body to be flattering.
"Of course. It's similar to what they have on already. A pair of leather pants and shirt if you desire. Women here often go topless, even in fights. But given that is rather unfamiliar to you, you may dress as much or as little as you wish. No pressure, especially for who you are fighting." He explains. He motions for her maid to come forward to escort Sakura to the training barracks. "For the record I asked them not to put so much on you. But we have quite a fascination with gems and metalwork."
He smiles with amusement and curiosity as Sakura expressed plainly that she would kill his men. Interesting. And she is confiding in him to control her impulses. What an intriguing woman. He wonders.. is she truly capable of killing in such cold blood? He wonders if he should play with the idea of waiting. It can't hurt to humble the lads. Especially if it teaches them to be more mindful about touching someone's body, as she is quite pressed about it.
"I grant it. You may fight both of them. When you return from changing they'll be waiting for you in the ring." The hand she placed on him he raised and gently placed a kiss on. "Good luck."

The princess let out a small, annoyed sigh. It seems her father got fed up with her constantly rejecting suitors and decided to pick one for her. Much to her surprise, it was another princess. She supposed that made things a small bit better but she didn’t enjoy the fact that the choice was being made for her.
Sakura was given a single picture and a name but they had not yet met. Hana Tsukioka was her name. From her picture, she looked so pretty and had kind eyes. Hopefully this princess will be as pleasant as she looked in the picture. It was the day before the wedding, and today was the day she was getting to meet who she shall be married to. Her father insisted on her wearing her best dress, and to have her long, pretty pink hair styled up nicely. She chose to wear her favorite soft green dress, and had a matching bow in her hair. It all seemed to compliment her bright green eyes, and vibrant hair. The princess stood next to her father in the throne room, hearing the announcement of the other royal family entering. The large doors opened, and out walked Hana with her guards. Once the foreign princess stood before them, Sakura bowed to her politely, giving her a smile,
Tumblr media
“Welcome to our kingdom. I hope your travels went well.” Her pretty green eyes looked at the girl as she rose up, admiring her for a moment.

“The unfortunate fact of royalty is that a lot of it relies on looks. Well… If you’re a woman anyway.”
It was why she was always prettied up in heavy dresses, hair all done up perfectly. The one thing she really didn’t need was make up. Sakura was extremely blessed with natural beauty. Many women envied her for it. Even though Sakura, herself, always thought she was a bit plain looking. Minus her naturally pink hair,
“I hope I can be. More than anything, I want to be able to help people. I know your kingdom’s wounds run deep, and it’ll take time for them to even start to heal but… I want to help aid in the healing process.”
They weren’t even her people yet and she still cared about them. Some say she’s a little too caring. She was already prepared to be rejected at first. There was no way a kingdom so wrecked from war was going to welcome an outsider with open arms. Sakura was going to have to prepare herself to be harshly judged for a while, and she didn’t mind that. She’s been judged all her life. It came with being royalty. It wasn’t going to scare her off from being Sasuke’s wife.
Sakura held his arm as he moved them over to the balcony. The sounds of the ball inside was but muffled background noise compared to the sounds of the ocean waves hitting against the rocks. It was one of her favorite spots in the garden. Especially at night. There was just a perfect view of the stars and moon most nights,
“In my opinion, a married couple should be equals and should be equally willing to lay down their lives for each other. I refuse to stand behind you and let you constantly protect me.” A bright smile formed on Sakura’s face, “Really? You will? I guess I’ll have to give it my all to impress my soon to be husband.” She softly laughed
Sakura was going to give it her all anyway. It might be the last time she gets to spare with the knights here. A bit of sadness hit her thinking about that. She knew she would get homesick but she wasn’t going to let it drag her down. The image of a bright future was still in her mind, even if Sasuke was unsure how she would react to his kingdom. A small sigh of relief left her,
“Then I shall fit right in! I hate the mentality of my own kingdom. I don’t wish to be on the sidelines. I wish to be a wife you can be proud to have.” She did want to ask more about his family, she was curious, but she could tell it was a sensitive subject. Sakura also somewhat put it together that his brother might not be alive any longer. As to why Sasuke was now king.
“My attendant no doubt feels the same way. Having an entire wedding between two kingdoms dropped on him, we’re all lucky he hasn’t had a heart attack. It seems the both of them would be grateful for some help.” And it was all happening so soon. She was sure her parents were pushing for it to happen as soon as possible.
“Bring personnel with me…? Wouldn’t your kingdom frown about that even more? Having even more outsiders in the castle? It would be nice to have some people I’m familiar with… I know I won’t be able to be around you all the time. I’m already a bit nervous about interacting with your staff. I guess I’m just nervous in general. I’m happy, yes, just still in a state of shock.” Sakura paused, looking up at Sasuke, admiring his handsome side profile,
“How do you feel about all this? Are you really sure about me? I know that's what you came here for but– It’s alright to change your mind.”
Sakura had faith where others did not and despite their only recent joining, it dispensed an inkling of inspiration into Sasuke. Not to say he's never had encouragement in his life, but his goals and ambitions were only second to the actual Heir Apparent, whose name tastes like bad omens and despair. For a second son who's life was outlined the moment the first son could talk, Sasuke belied on mercy and instruction to guide him home, even down in bloodied battles far from sanctuary.
"I have no doubt you'll charm them with your fortified spirit and good looks. Superficial, the lot of them," he speaks mostly of the seated nobles that smirk behind ornate fans and well-kempt beards," what remains of the kingdom, who knows. I believe I've mentioned my country has only been graced with peace the recent years, so they are searching for a guiding light; I believe you can be that."
Not to say that was his plan all along, or even Junichi's when he assisted on his king to appear at this ball, but as the reality began to set in concerning his future as both a young adult and a leader— the realization of what influence and stigma others carry and provide.
Following the scent of Earth and humidity, the Uchiha carried the princess on his arm around the bend towards the balcony edge to feast his eyes on the sea. Under the moonlight, the horizon was blotted with an intense, endless darkness with only the chopping of waves at the cliff's edge to break the illusion. There was no divine message to be beheld here, only the pausing of meaningless thoughts as Sakura spoke.
"I'm happy to hear how eager you are to lay down your life for me," he says with a brief pause," I wouldn't mind joining you later."
Touching the metal guardrail, his fingertips traced over the spiral pattern from the top-edge and over the thin details of flower petals wrapping it like vines," there's plenty of women within our ranks. I'm not foreign to the concept of a woman such as yourself." He mentions in an act of consolation, if it meant anything to her. "My brother's projected fiancée was one. A formidable power with fierce looks." The compliments stop there to maintain the glimmering image of a honorable man and his perfect soon-to-be wife with none of the misery that befell them afterwards.
"My attendant would appreciate that. Since the passing of his master, he's one travesty away from tearing his hair out by the roots." Somewhere, Junichi would sneeze, but here Sasuke spoke with all seriousness and no humor.
"And if it brings you any comfort, you can instate any personnel from here to my kingdom. I'll offer them a treaty of amnesty," he offered in cool-tone, but really he insisted. He drove a blade through all the last ones, after all.

Sakura was surprised she wasn’t that bothered by having someone view her naked body. All her life she was raised to be modest and ashamed of her naked form but she didn’t feel that with him. The way he looked at her made her feel beautiful, confident. She could feel his attraction to her from just his gaze alone. It made her feel excited and hot in a way she never felt before.
She let out a soft chuckle, “I feel the same way. I wish to have strong children. I want them to be able to defend themselves in the event of an attack or war. Also, the kingdom will fall on their shoulders when we pass, I want them to be powerful leaders the kingdom can depend on. Both our kingdoms.” Her kingdom was still as important to her as this one. Now the two kingdoms were connected through their marriage. Meaning her kingdom deserved the same level of protection as this one. Sakura fancied the idea of at least one of their children taking over her old kingdom when the time came for that.
“I do admit, I am a bit eager to become a mother. It was something I’ve always wanted when I was younger.”
She’d like to believe she would be a good one and it seemed this kingdom wasn’t as strict as her own. Sakura wouldn’t have to worry about doing things so closely by the book. She could be the free spirit she’s always wanted to be. To be the kind of mother she’s always wanted to be but worried it would be all stomped out by outdated traditions and views on how each gender should act and what roll they play. It seems her new kingdom, everyone was equal as long as you were strong enough to prove yourself. She had no doubt in her mind that their children would not only prove themselves but be welcomed by the kingdom with open arms.
Sakura dipped below the surface of the water to clean some of the blood off herself. It looked humorous from the outside as her horns were still poking up from the water. When she reemerged, the blood was mostly cleaned from her face and hair. Jiraiya was right, the water was deep, and Sakura would struggle to find seating that would keep her above water. It was lucky she was a strong swimmer.
She swam over to him with a grin on her face, “How could I possibly turn down the chance to sit on my husband’s lap?” Sakura floated closer to him before sitting down on his lap, still facing him. Her arms slid around his neck. He gave her plenty of height to keep her above water,
“Your kingdom was built for giants. I hope our children aren’t going to be as short as me.” Sakura chuckled again at the small joke.
“Flowers? I can arrange that.” He agrees.
He continued to take off some of his clothes, moving slower as his eyes caught sight of her. While nudity wasn’t much of a big deal here he still found himself lingering on the form of his newlywed.
Sakura is… tiny. Petite but still powerful. He liked the mix of soft human and monster. Beast and beauty all in one. Power and soft. He watched her, rather entranced until her words hit him. Uncertain isn’t something he expected to see on someone like her.
“I wouldn’t care if they inherited your traits. That makes my children strong, unique, and more than worthy to inherit what we leave them.” Jiraiya replies. Another layer hits the floor. “What’s a little risk? If our sons and daughters prove themselves strong enough to get free then they deserve the freedom.”
He watched her pounce in the water like an excited child. He found it rather entertaining. At her teasing he made short work of the rest of his clothing. His body is something else, perhaps average to most who have seen a warrior if a bit bigger given the larger stature of the denizens here. Years of a hard life showed through with solid muscles and scars.
“You’ll do no such thing, my dear.” He said softly before stepping into the water.
He sinks into the hot water, taking out his hair before kneeling against the smooth stone. He could comfortably sit with his head above water. Sakura however? Well she might struggle to find a place to settle.
“If you need a place to sit, my lap is free. It’s a little steep for a girl your size.” Jiraiya offers.

While they headed to the bath, Sakura took a moment to look around. She would, after all, have to get used to navigating these halls. He couldn’t be with her all the time and she’d rather not get constantly lost. She’d probably get judged if she had to ask for help. Sakura wanted to keep her high standing after winning that fight. At the moment, the kingdom thought highly of her as queen and she would like to keep it that way.
A look of amazement crossed her face when they entered the bath area. It was so big, and grand. All made of stone, which was expected given the kingdom was built inside a mountain. Sakura walked up to the bath, sliding her fingers over the smooth stone as Jiraiya released the water into it. The scent of the hot spring cleared her mind. It still felt a bit cloudy from her losing control like that. She still felt different and the same. Everything was just so new. She was just happy she now fitted in and gained some respect.
“It’s beautiful, I love it.” Sakura turned to look at him, her cheeks turning a small shade of pink seeing that he was already undressing, “I like the smell but I wouldn’t mind some flower scents. It would remind me of home.” Her kingdom being known for its flowers.
Now she felt the cusps of shyness hit her. This would be the first time she would be completely naked in front of a man. But it was only natural to do so in front of one’s husband. Sakura looked down of what was left of her clothing. She was already halfway there. The man had completely torn her shirt to shreds in hopes of humiliating her. She didn’t allow him to do so even if she was displeased with having her body exposed to everyone.
Carefully, Sakura reached down and untied the sash that held her pants up. She could feel her heart fluttering in her chest as her pants loosened. Then she slid them down, taking them off. All that was left was her panties. Part of her worried he would not find her attractive. Even if he captured her partly for her beauty. Just now, he knew she was a monster. Her horns now exposed. Ears pointed. She still had sharpened teeth and claws. Under the layers of caked on blood, there were vague, scale-like markings on her shoulders and thighs. A thought passed through her mind that she couldn’t help but speak out,
“Are you… Sure you wish to have children with me? I know it is expected for a king to have children but… You know, they will all be part monster too.”
They would have her blood in them. Sakura didn’t know how much they would inherit from her. Or if the dragon part of her could even be passed down. Just, it could be a concern.
“I do, however, wish to have children. I just thought it would be appropriate for you to know the risks. If you’re okay with it, I must warn, the doors of this castle are in danger the moment our children are old enough to walk.”
Sakura let out a soft laugh, her seriousness melting away. She let the shyness she had go, and pulled off the last of her clothing off, tossing it to the side. Letting her playful side show, she practically hopped into the bath. Letting out a happy sound. Turning to look at him with a grin on her face, she splashed water at him,
“Hurry up, slow poke! Or I shall steal all the heat from the bath for myself!”
“You’ve warmed rather quickly to our ways. I’m not complaining, mind you.” Jiraiya says before letting her go. “This way.”
He walked across the room to an area she hadn’t really explored. Given the tight timeline of everything the last few days he doubted she explored beyond the bed. Beyond a hall lined with shelves meant for her goods and treasures was an archway. It wasn’t terribly grande or imposing.
It led into a bathing room. A large bath was carved into the stone. It was sunken into the floor, like an extension of it rather than a protrusion. The stone itself was worn smooth from centuries of use it looked. The smell of minerals and damp earth hung in the room. It’s rather simple. A few ceramic jars sat along the edge holding oils with scents. There are pull strings with heavy wooden planks on the active end. One above the bath and another at the lowest point.
Jiraiya was already tugging off some easy layers to remove by himself. Even he was growing sick of all the layers that came with traditional wedding attire. As he did he pulled on one of the strings. The top plank lifted and steaming hot water began to fill the tub. The smell only intensified. It’s clearly hot spring water.
“Well? Does it please you?” He asks as he lets his cape fall heavy to the floor. “There’s some additives if you wish to mask the smell. Just say the word and I’ll get your maid to get you anything you wish for your baths.”
By how he talks about it, it was clear it held some significance. He began to pull at some of the ties holding his top layers to him. Clearly he had some catching up to do.

Sakura cared little for the men as they were dragged off to meet their ends. She never did get her apology but she did gain new respect from the kingdom. Hopefully, no one would dare disrespect her like that again. Otherwise, they were going to meet the same fate the men did. Now the kingdom was aware of her monstrous strength. Something she kept hidden for so long. She had conflicting feelings about it. It felt like she was going against everything she was raised to be.
Her parents and kingdom would be so disappointed.
But she wasn’t with them anymore.
Holding his hand, Sakura allowed Jiraiya to drag her away from the loud crowd. It would be nice to have some peace after all the chaos that was caused by her. Surprisingly, she kissed Jiraiya back when he pressed his own kiss against her lips. Her mouth still tasted of the mens’ blood. Not exactly the best taste in the world but not the worst either,
“What kind of queen would I be if I second guessed myself? I would not have offered, if I was not okay with my husband seeing me naked.”
Sakura grinned playfully, besides, her breasts were already out. She was basically half way there to being naked. As much as she was displeased with the entire kingdom seeing her chest, she was relieved they didn’t see everything. She wanted to save some things for her husband’s eyes only,
“You should have. I wouldn’t have held back for nearly as long. I hope from now on, people keep their hands to themselves… But I would enjoy my husband's hands on me, very much.~” Sakura purred at him in a suggestive manner, “After all, it's tradition to consummate the marriage.” She found herself no longer hating him or this kingdom. Sakura felt more free than she felt in her own kingdom. She did not have to worry about being labeled a monster,
“Now where is this bath you speak of?”
Jiraiya held a newfound respect for his newlywed. Sure they aren’t exactly in love but he did enjoy this bloodlust in her. She’s different in a good way. Powerful in the best way. Someone that can hold their own. All the things needed to survive in this kingdom of his.
And thus he was hesitant to show her more than the minimum until she approved of more. To disrespect her in any other way would be horrible after she proved herself. It shocked him when the small peck he offered was turned into a hungry engulfing take the air from him kiss.
At that point the crowd didn’t matter anymore. It felt like they all faded away. The noises. The over the top preforming flare. The celebration itself. Everything erased from his vision aside from her. Hell… maybe he had made a love connection. It wasn’t exactly a typical romance one finds in a book full of princesses and magic.
Jiraiya raises his brows when Sakura implied he could see her naked and even bathe with her. Now he was incredibly curious. He raises his hand to silence the crowd.
“Feast, celebrate, and be marry on this day. Our beasts are fed and we will continue to conquer!” He bid his people.
Keeping hold of Sakura’s hand he guided her. The bloody pulps of his fallen men were dragged off into one of the massive holes where the toads retreated off to. They’re no longer of any concern. Nor will they be wasted. Stepping past people and navigating thin parts of the dangerous mountain’s insides eventually he guided them safely back to her room.
“You’re sure you want this? If I knew all it would take was a little bloodshed I would have let you pummel whoever you wished as soon as we arrived.” He practically purrs before leaning down to press another kiss to her lips. His dark eyes scanning her face carefully. “You look rather beautiful spattered in the blood of those who wronged you.”

Sakura was in a trance-like state as she punched the man over and over again. When Jiraiya gently placed his hand on her shoulder, Sakura almost turned around to lash out on him. Thinking he was the other man. But as soon as she recognized who it was, her gaze softened, and she relaxed her shoulders. The man under her long since stopped moving. No longer fighting her. She suspects he was dead from the head trauma she inflicted on him. Her intent wasn’t to kill either of them but she couldn’t let their disrespect slide. They pushed her to this.
She allowed Jiraiya to help her up, wiping her hands on her ruined pants. There really wasn’t much point in the action, she was covered in blood, “If they do, they will meet the same fate.” Sakura felt vindicated over being able to get back at the man that groped her. And then he went and tore open her top to shame her. She was not ashamed of her body, merely was raised to keep her body hidden for her husband but the people here seemed to care little about such traditions, so why should she now?
In a surprising act, Sakura grabbed a fist full of Jiraiya’s hair and forced him into a deep kiss. Not satisfied by a simple cheek kiss as a reward for what she’s done. It was deep, and aggressive, before she finally broke it with a pleased sigh,
“I feel powerful. I would have never gotten away with doing this in my home kingdom.”
Sakura let go of his hair, leaving blood smeared on it. She flexed her hands, looking at her new claws, then touched the horns on her head, and then admired the markings that now decorated her skin. Her eyes raised to the cheering crowd, looking a tad confused how they didn’t view her as a monster when she was raised to hide her dragon-like traits. Hopefully, that meant she did not have to clip and file her horns back again. Not that it mattered now, the markings were now stained on her body. Teeth and claws forever sharpened. Her parents avoided her tasting blood because once her power was triggered, there was no hiding it again,
“I think I earned a bath after that… I do not wish to keep the blood of trash on my body.” Her eyes moved to the two men, as she let out a huff,
“I would not mind if you joined me.” Sakura looked up at him with a grin, acting bolder now.
Maybe he should stop it. But the moment those horrible words kept spewing from his men’s mouths he wasn’t so keen to. If they’re so keen to make their bed then they can lie in it.
Plus no one will respect her if he went and interrupted the fight. Their rules can be to the death. It’s not as civil but.. they aren’t very civil people.
Actions speak much louder than any speech. No one would listen to any warning he has anyways. If Sakura was going to make her stand now as a leader to be both feared and respected then it’s now.
The crowd was loving it anyways. The brutality under that tiny frame was perfect. They’re cheering for her. It looks like Jiraiya picked right. He stands up from his chair. The frequency of Sakura’s punches were starting to slow. She’s getting tired. Slowly but surely she is losing steam. Yet the determination kept her going. There wasn’t much of a face left to make an apology anyways. It was bloodied up and pulverized like a piece of ground meat.
He slowly descends down the steps towards her. He ignores the one writhing on the ground. Reaching his hand out he put it on her shoulder. Once she snaps out of it he’ll make the announcement.
“You’re the winner. And I doubt anyone will disrespect you.” He assures her in a soft, almost coddling tone.
He turns to the crowd and announces that the losers will be toad food. Its not like they be much use to him all bloodied and broken. He pulled Sakura to her feet.
“I must say… you look most beautiful like this.” He coos before pressing his luck and pressing a kiss against her cheek.

Sakura’s movements at first, were graceful, and thought out. As the two men charged her, she grabbed one by the wrist, spun him around like he weighed nothing, and tossed him against the other man, throwing them both back against the ground. The crowd gasped, surprised someone of her size could so easily throw a man twice as big.
They got up and went back to attacking her. It was clear Sakura was going easy on them. Hesitating over seriously harming either of them. That is until one of the men grasped hold of the front of her shirt and tore it off her body as to shame her. Exposing her bare breasts to the entire room. Sakura staggered, trying to cover herself in shock and that's when the other man punched her in the gut, throwing her against the wall. Sakura slid down to her knees from the impact, almost looking knocked out. The two men taunted her calling her every name they could think of. Telling her how useless and weak she was,
‘You’re nothing more than our king’s useless slut! You’re only good for one thing!’
Their laughter was halted when the air around Sakura changed, when she lifted her head, her pretty green eyes practically glowed, now slit. The teeth she bore at them were sharp and dangerous. Sakura didn’t even fully get up, she charged them on all fours like a beast. She tackled the closest man, her clawed fingers digging into one of his eyes destroying it as she slammed his head into the ground.
The tone of the fight quickly shifted from Sakura avoiding seriously harming them to her completely brutalizing them. It became a fight of life or death.
The men were clawed at, beaten bloody, she bit off chunks of them when they tried to fight back. Bones were crushed. Sakura was coated in blood, and from that blood sprouted the horns she tried so desperately to file down. They grew out like branches from a cherry blossom tree. Much like how she told Jiraiya that their trees grew from blood sacrifices. These men were her sacrifices. Her ears were more pointed now, and pinkish red marks spread on her pale skin. Sakura’s parents had protected her from ever getting the taste of blood because she wouldn’t be able to hide what she was from people anymore. Jiraiya had exposed her to violence and bloodshed. There was no going back now.
Sakura sat on top of the man that groped, tore the shirt off of her, and disrespected her. She punched his face over and over, snarling out, “Apologize.” over and over again. The other man was rolling on the floor in pain, the bone sticking out of his leg.
If Jiraiya didn’t do something soon, his new wife was going to end up killing his two best men…
“Take it as more of a warning then. You’re going to see bare boobs at times is all.” Jiraiya informs.
He takes her crown and waved her off as she went to dress more appropriately for battle. His men complained, more like whined that Jiraiya wasn’t taking their side.
“Prepare yourselves. She took the time to learn, to wait and listen. Enemies like that are a the most dangerous.” He warns.
Jiraiya shooed them to the area. They seem reluctant to prepare. Pride getting in their way to take Sakura seriously. Silly silly silly. It’ll be interesting to see her in action. All this bold talk but he’s inclined to believe her. She’s so sure of herself. A very attractive feature. When she came out… looking different… well she certainly is full of surprises. Her body is sturdy looking despite her smaller size. The unwavering stance had an air of… try me.
They were huffy. Her offer only riling them more. The two men pounced, rushing her. The plan to be quick and fierce.
The audience was waiting with baited breath to see their new queen fair against the two men. Her confidence has them captivated. Sakura certainly will win them over. If that means by either she dies in glory or kicks some serious ass… well. Time will soon tell.

Sakura let out a pleased sound, feeling his hand brush over her soft cheek. A smile remained on her face, “I’ve never been very fond of the socialite lifestyle. My parents forced it on me. It is no big loss to me that I won’t have to put up with that all the time.” She never enjoyed big parties, or being forced to be pleasant to people that were either rude or made her uncomfortable.
A small frown graced her lips, “Really, you seem like such a good king to me.” Even though she’s only known him a short period and has yet to see how awkward he is on active king duty, “Well then, I’m just going to have to prove myself to them!” Sakura looked determined, “I spent all my life studying and training to become queen. They made sure I covered every possible situation that might come although… It wasn’t them that taught me combat.”
The princess felt a little on edge, uncomfortable admitting this to him. She didn’t know what his idle woman was like. There was know way of knowing how he’d react to finding out his future queen enjoyed getting into fist fights as a hobby.
Her pretty green eyes trailed away from the mess of a flowerbed, “While you are skilled with a sword, I am skilled in hand to hand fighting… It was something I started doing as a kid. I was nearly kidnapped once and I wasn’t going to let it happen again. The guards taught me many things, and I often snuck out to the city to do… Ah, what some might call, illegal fighting rings.” Sakura’s cheeks heated up but she refused to look at him,
“Only reason I didn’t break every bone in that man’s face when he cornered me was my parents. They don’t believe women should be so boyish and crude as to fight. Job for the men as they say but I don’t like that mentality. I refuse to be weak.” She stated bluntly now looking back at him,
“So- I really hope you and your people don’t expect me to stand on the side and just look pretty. Because I refuse to be that type of woman and queen. I’m more than happy to get my hands dirty for any situation.” Sakura started to look a bit proud as she finally admitted that she was as soft and elegant as she has lead him on to believe up until this point,
“If you are put off by a woman that can stand her ground and won’t be walked on, it is best you run now before we make our vows. But if it doesn’t bother you, I welcome you to join me later after the ball is over to the guards quarters to see me in action. Just don’t tell anyone.” A wide grin spread on her face as she invited him. A small tinge of sadness did hit her knowing it would be one of the last times she gets to spar with her guard friends before she’s moved to a new kingdom.
A new kingdom, with new people that will not like her…
Sakura was suddenly hit with the realization that things were going to be very lonely for a while. Up until now, she didn’t really think about the fact that she will leave all her friends and family behind. Everyone she knew and everything familiar to her would be gone.
Perhaps she can bull head her way into making friends. So the only person she knows isn’t Sasuke. Not that she won’t want to spend as much time as possible with him, it’s just she was sure he would have other things to do and wouldn’t need her hanging off his arm the entire time doing it.
“Don’t worry. My family will aid any way we can to help with the planning of the wedding. So everything isn’t entirely on your poor attendant’s shoulders.” Sakura softly laughed, giving Sasuke a comforting smile. Things were going to get quite chaotic in the coming days.
The King stared at his future bride with a thoughtful look. It's not that he exactly wanted to lie to her about the messy horticulture maintenance here. There was love and sweat that went into planting each flower, supporting its stem, and keeping it flourishing. May not be the tidiest of things, but Sakura wasn't solely a gardener. It'd be asinine to expect such perfection in everything.
The princess took his hand, caressing her cheek against his knuckle until he had turned it over to cradle her correctly. "Most girls would fall to their knees and cry once they find out that they've been sentenced to a stony fortress at the edge of the world with no socialite status to save them."
It wasn't necessarily the lifestyle that aroused Sasuke's concern. It was something else.
"I must be honest with you," he said," the kingdom, her people, they haven't settled on me King quite yet, so I'm not hopeful of their reception of you."
The moon-scorched king had only ascended the throne recently. After his brother's excommunication and the subsequent murder of his parents, the people did not think fondly of Sasuke. His soldier status and firm position as The Shield, should have granted some sort of unworldly intuition to have prevented all unfortunate circumstances from befalling them. He may have been a spare, but no one expected him to take the mantle, thus opening conversations of doubt and scathing opinion on his proficiency as a leader.
Not even within their militant ranks did he hold a position of power. Only by birthright was his climb effortless ( despite his many impressive efforts, but no one wants to acknowledge where talent might lie on someone who already holds an advantage ), yet at no point did any sergeant wanted to leave the comforts of their seat to allow him to hold the reigns.
And now that he's been bolstered to the top, Sasuke never received the training that Itachi once did, and found himself fumbling the most delicate of interpersonal matters when it came to roundtable leadership.
"I didn't expect me to win your affections tonight either. The wedding will need to be planned and handled, somehow. My attendant is probably fretting himself to the bone figuring what to do there."

“Do you not remember our vows? I can be a blessing or a curse. I can heal or I can destroy.” It was prior to telling him what she was, so it was in reference to her gods but now looking back on it, it was clear she was speaking as that god not for it, “I should not introduce too much blood shed onto myself, it could corrupt my healing abilities. It’s rather frustrating that I have to be mindful to keep a balance.” If she had too much of one and not the other, it would greatly affect her abilities, and might possibly warp her as a person. Sakura always had a fear of losing control. Becoming some dark being that someone would have to kill before she tainted the lands with her rage.
“Not to criticize your leadership but my men would never stoop so low. Such actions aren’t tolerated. Had they been one of my men, they would have had their hands cut off.” As peaceful as her kingdom seemed they still had their own set of violent customs, “Both. They don’t look like much, I might grow bored fighting them one at a time. I expect them to be dirty fighters too, no? Perfect. I wish to prove my strength to your people. I suppose our people.”
Sakura let out an amused snort at the two men’s words, “My arms aren’t skinny, my clothes are just big.” To prove her point, she pulled back her sleeve and flexed, showing off that she was in fact muscular. A few scars decorated her arm from training, “Call me a bitch all you want, it will not change the outcome of this.” She was pleased that Jiraiya was taking her side on this and not his men. That was certainly winning some points with her. Sakura was a bit surprised about it. She was certain he would take his men’s side.
‘For children…’
She whined out in dismay, “Being small is a curse…” Sakura stated in a depressed manner. What a blow to pride that she had to wear children’s clothes, “If they’re easier to move in than this heavy dress, I’ll take it. I also want all this jewelry off me. The wedding is over, I don’t need to be all dressed up like a doll. I don’t want to wear my crown either. I don’t want it to be damaged during the fight.” Even if it did look sturdy. Sakura was sure that if she wanted to, she could bend and break it.
Sakura reached out and placed a hand on Jiraiya’s, looking at him seriously, “Promise me you’ll stop me before things get taken too far. Once in battle, I tend not to realize the damage I’m causing until it’s too late. If you don’t want to lose two of your men, you have to stop me.”
"It's awfully ironic. A small girl, dispositioned as a healer but she's capable of destroying just as much as she can fix." Jiraiya notes with a hint of poetic. "I don't doubt you'll do just as you say."
His brows raise when she points insistently at what was essentially his third and fourth best. They're his best due to their more brutal natures. They don't hesitate. And unfortunately they aren't keen to respect or treat women well. So.. maybe this is a good thing.
"I agree. There should be some semblance of honour. I certainly don't condone them touching you in such ways. But I can't enforce it beyond telling them not to." Jiraiya explains. It did rub him the wrong way they had assaulted her. "Do you feel confident in dishing out respect on both of them at the same time? Or one on one?"
"This bitch wants to fight us?" The first one, Tatsu, scoffs.
"She looks as if she couldn't hold a pebble with those skinny arms." The second, Koro, was just as cocky and smug.
"Careful." Jiraiya warned in their tongue. "She speaks and understands you now."
He dismisses the others to go back to their groups. The man set for his grievance looked a little put out at his match being stalled. Jiraiya waved to him, dismissing him from the ring. "My wife will fight on your behalf to avenge your grievance." He promised. Said man looked a little doubtful but reluctantly retreated to the higher level.
The warriors exchanged looks, offended that Jiraiya was believing in Sakura more than them. Which he did. He was interested to see her fight unrestrained and down right feral. He was curious to see how his warriors will react too.
"Do you need a change of clothes? We have garments that would fit you, I admit they are for children as they enter training. But they'll serve you better than your wedding gown." Jiraiya offers her.
