Obviously, after watching the movie and the Hot air balloon sequence, along with the Clicking of the shoes in the last scene much like Like Dorothy in the wizard of Oz. That's a nod to that. But ..

Notice how copia does the "no place like home" click of his shoes near the end of the film? And respite of the Spitalfields also ironically mentions the wizard of OZ and how Dorothy goes home at the end of the movie.

Song mentions

When the curtain unveiled, to the sound of applause, that the king that we hailed was the wizard of Oz.

But also a foreshadowing

Imperator wore red shoes, and when she was covered over by the white sheet, her Red heels were sticking out much like the Witches Red shoes when the house fell on her. In the movie the wizard of Oz the slippers represent the ability to triumph over powerful forces.

I'm sorry this is so long. It is mainly me just talking to myself writing shit down so I can just vent, but remember the city of Meliora? In square hammer, it was green, and I've always thought that was a nod to the emerald city, and green means money, which mummy dust (eh, this is an entirely dif side quest a thought for another time)

A message is that people will march behind any authority figure who makes a splash, however undeserving they may be.

Let's see the twin brother : We will break away together, I'll be the shadow, and you'll be the light.

Maybe a nod to his twin, perhaps? One is the dark half, and the other would bring the light one. One will eventually kill the other one if we go back to the romulus and Remus theory. But which one. (Dunno) now then my fellow antichrist theory mutuals is this could still happen.. I say that because obviously we assume Copia has the mark 666 and Sister did mention something about how he will come to understand that one day ending means the beginning of a new one and that after a night of darkness.

Obviously I'm very much shitghosting and ballparking alot here and I don't claim anything as stated I'm only making links and parallels here and there 😅 I'd love to pick other people's brains here thoughts and theories. ^^

listen, I want Copia to turn out to be the Antichrist and I want him to be the most inept antichrist Satan could ever fear to get. I want to see him in diabolical situations in which his awkward autistic ass is just so out of place it confuses even the emissaries from hell/heaven/whoever he's trying to impress. let him try to fistbump god when he's supposed to fight him and go 'he he he' at his own jokes before solving a problem in the least antichrist way possible, creating more problems for the ministry and making everyone question their life choices.

Hi so I'm new to ghost and I'm catching up on all the lore and past and present theories, can I ask what is the twin theory? Both the copia twin theory and I'm interested in what you've posted before abt the twins actually maybe being secondo and terzo? Like what twins with black and blonde hair r we even referring to😭

Hi dear, welcome to the Ghost fandom!

The “Twin theory” comes from a scene in the Ghost movie Rite Here Rite Now (2024), where at one point we see a series of flashbacks (I don’t post the full clip because there are also major spoilers in it ) in which Sister Imperator— we rightfully suppose—was pregnant with, again we rightfully suppose, Copia (Papa Emeritus IV). The fact is that we see two children being born, and in one of those brief scenes we see the twins, a little grown up, from behind: one appears to be a brunette and the other a little lighter.

From here my silly theory you read 😅

Other elements included in the flashbacks and evaluated in different fan theories are the Romulus and Remus statue, scenes from the Year Zero video clip (or, more generally, referring to the Infestissumam era), and an eclipse.

“Copia” means “copy” in Italian, so it seemed obvious to all to think that the twins were him and a character—possibly the next Papa—whom we had never seen before.

The tricky part of this lore is that this is only one of the possible paths for the future. Many hints over the years have pointed either to the comeback of an old Papa or to Copia’s betrayal, and only recently to an incursion of another character from one of Tobias Forge’s other bands. It’s a long way catching up with all this mess, so forget about coherence and logic 😅

By the way, before watching the movie I suggest you watch all the band’s chapters on YouTube, if you haven’t already (The Summonings + The Chapters), that’s where the official lore happens. Sometimes lore happens during concerts too (new Papa debuts II, III, Terzo’s forced deposition, Papa Nihil’s death, and Copia becoming Papa).

All the different theories circulating around are the product of years of lore building (both by the band and fanmade), mixed hints, and fans’ fantasies, but we are very close to knowing the truth about the next Papa, at least 😌

However....it was still Copia's last show. A fact which still breaks my heart a little bit.

Now I wonder what comes next.

I've heard some theories but I am hoping we get a chapter (YouTube video) with the missing info/link between Copia leaving and he who comes next....

I have a theory about the first song sung by the Papas characterizing them as characters.

Secondo's first concert song was "Secular Haze" - a song with a dark circus atmosphere, praising the Antichrist. As we know from Papaganda and interviews, he likes wigs, silly costumes and noisy parties, hiding his unhappiness behind this.

Terzo's first song was "From the Pinnacle to the Pit". His life path follows the path of Lucifer and Icarus, even the last word sung by him on his albums is "falling" ("Bible"). The higher one soars, the longer it takes to fall, the theme of hubris and the giddiness of success all reflect Terzo.

Copia's first song was "Rats" (acoustic performance). Rats prowl everywhere, small and inconspicuous, and bring death. I think he may have identified with death, as his reign began with the murder of the brothers. And as a bastard, he may have felt like a small animal, despised by all, but capable of revenge.

Someone (I don’t remember Whomst but please do raise your hand if it was you) once proposed the idea that Terzo might be a bit of a pianist based off of this image

And I just wanted to say that I support this idea. Not only because I think Terzo being able to play piano is adorable, but because it would make the Kazoo of Destiny even funnier in my eyes.

Dude is a classically-trained concert pianist, would make so many of his peers swoon by doing that dumb “Oh is that a piano? Don’t mind if I do~” bit and playing a concerto off the cuff. He could easily wriggle in a piano bit for himself during rituals and acoustic sessions — and the Clergy would’ve been on board for once because they know the power that a confident, handsome man with strong fingers can wield on an already horny audience.

But nope: He toot his lil kazoo, his favorite party favor he got three years ago at a New Year’s Eve party.
