#The art of murder sousuke

So I was browsing through the Twitter posts of the studio behind The Art of Murder, and I saw that, prior to the pilot's release and even several character reveals, they made posts with most of the characters in a swapped art style (here are some links to the posts I'm referring to: 1 2 3 4).

So now I'm thinking about an AU for The Art of Murder where all the characters swap genres/art styles.

Here's what I've come up with for this AU so far:

- Sousuke has Winn's artstyle, and the show he's from is now an action-based western cartoon. Also, instead of the Bosuke spin-off, Sousuke's show has a reboot (kinda like what they did for Ben 10 in 2016) that equally few people watched.

- Winn has Albie's artstyle and is now from a 2D feature film that's sort of like Peter Pan, where she's a young girl that's whisked away by a magical boy to a place called Forever Land.

- Albie has Giorgio's artstyle and is now from a visual novel that isn't a dating sim. She wants to prove that people like her are more than just "dating material."

- Giorgio is now the new original character and is kind of like Pip's imaginary boyfriend in a sense. His vanity stems from the fact that, while the others may be Pip's favorite characters to create fanart of, he's the first and only character created by Pip herself.

- OC has Sousuke's art style and is actually a character from something now. Specifically, he's the protagonist of a "main character is isekai'd into a brand new world" anime and is a sort of blank slate character meant for the audience to project themselves onto.

What do you think about Joey "The Anime Man" Bizinger voicing the Ninja Sparkla? He recently voiced Sousuke from The Art of Murder, and while I'm of the opinion that anything with a theater theme and English voice acting should have a good amount of Broadway actors in the cast, I'm not against variety if the non-Broadway actors clearly have the talent and/or potential.

First of all, this is a really great show and I want to watch more of it!

Second, I can see it! I only hope that they will use their powers for feminism and not murder…

The Art Of Murder headcanon thing?

The dog being revealed with mud and paper on him, while Sousuke is also mud covered. Leading the gang to believe he is the murderer.

The truth being revealed that he actually hitches a ride from the dog every night when he's first awake. He goes to the backyard where he practices his epic monologue he's going to give to the man who murdered his family. That night OC was "murdered" he got muddy. And when he returned inside and tried to wash it off, he got water on Pip as she was coming out of the book. The paper on the dogs paw was from the paper scraps Sousuke uses to lure the dog to the table so he can drop down.

Also Winn deserves the Steven Universe star eyes, and I’m obsessed with them so here!

So happy to have the opportunity to work as a cleanup animator on the The Art of Murder pilot by @chocchipanim! Had to do a piece featuring the characters to celebrate the pilot launch & 1 Million views milestone! It's a fun pop culture parody, murder mystery musical series that features characters that comes to life every night, like Toy Story but drawings!! This piece I made will also be a part of The Art Of Murder exhibition which will be held at Kinokuniya Sydney, Australia in January 2025. I HAD to draw them all in their referenced styles. The pilot was so great, I NEED more of it. This show hits my artist/theater heart perfectly ❤️

Albie personally is my fav just because I used to heavily reference the Disney princess body type while learning anatomy (oh god their waists. those were the dark days before I learned proper anatomy).
