RAMPAGE!
Fan art of my spin of a more game accurate “humans turn into monsters”.
Lizzie, Ralph and George for the 1st film.  For the sequel, Boris, Ruby and Curtis.
1st image, Left to right:
Lizzie: Your average teenager who regularly goes to the gym to work out. Is a total delinquent who enjoys vandalism. On of her hobbies is owning various reptiles and lizards as her pets. Her exposure to the chemical happens after she is bitten by one of her pet reptiles. Crossing her DNA w/ that of a lizard. For her design, like the original game, I looked at the Ymir ("20 Million Miles To Earth" w/ effects aka the alien by Ray Harryhausen) for inspiration. Along w/ old depictions of dinosaurs, TriStar's Godzilla, Spider-Man's "The Lizard" character, and her tail based off the stegosaurus thagomizer. Ralph: A "lone wolf", who enjoys drinking beer, eating, and stoning out on weekends w/ the company of his lovable husky. Works as a part-time trucker. Lives far out in the woods. Gets a face full of dog kisses before he is exposed to the chemicals that cause his transformation into a giant mutant wolf. I looked to the classic Universal horror, "The Wolf Man" along w/ the many other werewolves of film to find inspiration. In the end, it more or less just looks like the 2018 film but w/ more human posturing. : /
George: He is a rather troubled preteen with issues involving his anger. Is regularly harassed at school as they find his outbursts amusing. Regularly goes to school counseling for it w/ Davis Okoye, a former US Army Special Forces soldier (Dwayne Johnson's character). His transformation into a simian-like creature occurs during school the day after being exposed to the chemicals. When designing him, I chose to mix the gorilla-ness of his appearance w/ other primates such as monkeys. As well as the elusive Bigfoot. Another one being his design from "Rampage: Total Destruction". Which looks the most human; facially anyways, of all the designs.  2nd image, not sure of their backstory but perhaps they were previous test subjects that get loose or whatever.

Note
does the transformation hurt a lot?
Going to assume this is for the mun.
Yes, I imagine it probably does with all the changes in bone structure and other anatomy. Plus developing appendages that aren't normally part of their bodies like tails in Ralph and Lizzie's cases is also likely uncomfortably. Lizzie especially might experience more pain because her breasts somehow flatten into her dinosaur body and she grows spines and plate-like scales.
Plus if we want to go into NSFW territory, the Wrecking Crew's genitals presumably get absorbed inside them in monster form, though in George and Ralph's case, it may just be the situation of some male animals in nature that theirs go inside as they spend the majority of time standing on two legs.
But if the genitalia is still present while not visible, that could have horrible implications for Lizzie: her genitals and anus fusing to create a reptilian cloaca.
Still, given that they have transformed many times, it's likely the process is less painful than it initially was as their bodies became more used to it. Though I'm sure they're still very sore and tired after doing so.
That was probably far more TMI than you wanted, but hopefully it suffices. lol

“The Chicago Rampage”
This draft was made on April 13th 2023. With people on Twitter talking about wanting a sequel to Brad Petyon’s Rampage. I wanted to post this draft I showed to @lovezdarestevez4ever long ago. We’re both Rampage fans and I’ll admit, while I question if a Rampage sequel will still happen. Mainly because Dwayne Johnson wants to do more serious stuff now if you’ve seen that news he’s working with A24 now. But again, I just retweeted some stuff on Twitter. Here’s a fun little fake documentary thing I made if a sequel was ever made.
I decided to not make any edits or updates to this. So, it’s raw basically.
Narrated by the WBC’s head news anchor.
This special has been given permission by the American government to tell the events of what happened in Chicago.
“In 2018, only a few years ago, the world hasn’t been the same since a distavorous incident that took place within Chicago. But also, other parts of North America.
To the surprise of many, the city of Chicago was attacked by three giant mutated animals. As they rampaged through the city, hundreds of people had sadly been caught in the crossfire. Counting both civilians and military personal. The incident has been considered one of the worst events in the city’s history.
But what led up to the destruction of Chicago and the three animals is...alarming.
Since then, new details had popped up after the incident. And where these monsters came from. And how this came to be.
While Dr. Kate Caldwell is responsible for developing the mutagen. She didn’t have the intention to use it for dangerous experimentation that Claire Wyden wanted to use it with CRISPR technology.
Project Rampage. An experiment to develop animals into super weapons. That was strangely inspired by a 1986 arcade game known as Rampage. More details about this were discovered within secret files and whatever was left of Wyden Tower.
It all started when an experiment aboard the satellite Athena-1 crashed down back onto the planet. Where it turned out, the satellite was a cover up for experimentation on a pathogen developed by the Energyne company. Which was covered up by now dead CEO Claire Wyden and her brother Brett Wyden.
Remains were found of the many crew that were sadly found within some of the crash sites. But other details that were discovered concerning their remains that most of them were already dead, killed by a mutated rat that also died within the crash. But the most alarming part of this news was the origin of the proclaimed “Wrecking Crew” that devasted Chicago.
-
1. Sickly nicknamed Ralph by the internet. In Wyoming, a Gray Wolf found one of the canisters containing the pathogen and was exposed to it. Resulting in the wolf to mutate and transform and even tragically murder his own pack.
“Ralph” kept transforming and traveled through Wyoming, causing the Wydens to send out a group of mercenaries led by a wanted man Burke. The group tried hiding the evidence and even killed a civilian who threated to report them to the authorities.
But their mission would end when they found “Ralph” in a forest. Where the aftermath left the entire group viciously slaughtered, and a helicopter destroyed. “Ralph” continued his rampage, killing wildlife, and even civilians in a bus into South Dakota.
2. Also sickly nicknamed by people on the internet, “Lizzie” after it was confirmed the American Crocodile was confirmed to be female was also affected by the pathogen. Which was found in the Crocodile’s stomach.
“Lizzie” attacked multiple boats in the Florida Everglades, causing death, and even going into the Gulf of Mexico.
3. George, an albino gorilla raised within the San Diego wildlife sanctuary was also affected by the pathogen when a canister crashed into the area. While being transported on a plane, George had awoken and took it down, killing nearly everyone.
-
The reason why all three animals came to Chicago was a signal activated by Claire Wyden, luring the creatures to the city. And in the process of that, the “Wrecking Crew” caused what appeared to be a 24-hour reign of terror. Again, resulting in the deaths of many civilians and military personal.
But soon it finally ended when “Ralph” and “Lizzie” were killed due to team effort of Davis Okoye, and George. Who was given an antidote to stop him from growing and stopping his increased aggression. Who also was the creature that was confirmed to have eaten and killed Claire Wyden. Brett Wyden was confirmed to have been crushed by debris after his remains were found.
Ever since the events, the world has been shocked, particularly America as many have grieved the loss of loved ones during the attack. Memorial services were held, reconstruction and massive clean ups were inducted as well. As for...the “Wrecking Crew” or what remains of them.
The remains of “Ralph” and “Lizzie” were picked up by the government. While George...was another case.
Despite having been “Cured” of his “Condition” and having helped rescue multiple civilians in the aftermath. Many people have called for the “Euthanasian” on the massive gorilla. But due to Davis Okoye, who had helped raised the ape, convinced the jury the people that George was no longer a danger. And that he, along with others would take responsibility not just for him, but other mutated animals as well.
Allowed permission by the government, and the help of Dr. Kate Caldwell and agent Harvey Russell, a giant animal sanctuary was opened up near by the San Diego Wildlife preserve.
But even after the incident in Chicago, this wasn’t the end of Project Rampage. It turns out, more canisters had crashed onto Earth, affecting more animals.
-
There have been reports and sightings of a giant squid swimming in the oceans that the internet have nicknamed “Cal”, ever since learning about it from a couple of divers who had barely survived an encounter with the creature at a reef. Since then, no one has been able to capture it.
Another creature that people have reported but never captured was a “Giant Great White Shark” that few have only seen. But multiple ships have been destroyed.
But as far as we know, these are the only two that are confirmed to be out there. Others have been placed within sanctuary.
-
Even though Davis Okoye’s motives are purely altruistic. There are still many that are still...devastated with what happened in Chicago. Many have criticized for trying to defend his “Friend” instead of putting him down. To where it got worse when someone attempted to bomb the sanctuary and kill George. The bomber’s motive was that after learning George had eaten his brother, he was enraged by Davis’s proposal to open a “Nonsensical” sanctuary and even for some reason, blamed everyone who worked at the area.
And concerning the inspiration for Project Rampage. Brain Colin and others were questioned about it. They were all shocked and horrified upon learning this information. Particularly Mr. Colin as he was also there in Chicago when the three attacked. They rather not comment more and feel like they inadvertently inspired such a catastrophe.
-
After everything, even with it being only a few years. And other events that have happened in the world. The Chicago Rampage has not left the minds of many, and will never be forgotten as it still baffles people to this day......
Wait...what are you saying? Can you say that again please?
Are you being serious? Are you actually being serious...and you want me to report on this? Do you realize what you’re telling me is to do is like saying serial killer coming back from the dead after a true crime narrator is about to end a video. Okay, I’ll do it.
So...something has developed...apparently as of right now. There is...another mutated wolf and possibly another mutated crocodile as well...and...I’m not dealing with this.
No, I’m not dealing with this. It’s Chicago all over again! Didn’t you guys just listen to me?! I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS! I’M GOING IN A BUNKER! I’M NOT REPORTING ON THIS SHIT! I’M NOT DYING! I WAS THERE IN CHICAGO! DID YOU SEE THE SHIT I’VE SEEN?!
FUCK THIS SHIT! I’M HIDING TILL THERE DEAD! UNLESS YOU PAY ME MORE MONEY!

I’ve realized something about possible Rampage sequels
This could explain why I’m having a troubling time thinking on that third one.
Along with why I’ve had some issues on the first sequel idea, “Rampage 2 World Tour”.
This isn’t also a problem but also a advantage. It’s all because of Rampage Total Destruction mostly. Yet there are still the original games from the 1986 arcade game to 2001 with that weird puzzle attack game. Which from what I know has no new monsters.
The idea is you have so many monsters to choose from these games. Mostly from Total Destruction. Especially you can develop stories for some that could make a film.
You have V.E.R.N. what is called a literal abomination and he’s never given a legitimate backstory. Meaning you can make him a antagonist and I’ve gone with the direction he’s a hybrid monster.
Then you have Myukus who is a alien monster you save from Area 51. You can use him when you wanna introduce the alien element in the series. Also the fact there are others such as Edwin, and Eyegore. also Myuku’s clone characters or whatever.
We even have other crazy monsters such as Venus the Venus flytrap. I’m not kidding that’s a monster character from Total Destruction. Maybe something like Biolantte but it has to be different still.
Along with Eustace DeMonic becoming a literal mutated human monster.
Also I feel I should mention characters like Nick The Demon, Squirmy, Harry, Rocky, and other weird ones or whatever.
There are so many monsters you can use for a sequel. But I feel like would the franchise keep going. Maybe for a trilogy unless they are very successful. Well Dwayne’s been in three Fast And Furious movies and he’s gonna be in a spin off next month.
Including there’s one thing I wanna talk about. I feel like if a sequel happens, you need to have a Ralph and a Lizzie in there. You can’t just have George with some new monsters. Because as a fan it seems weird without the other members of the Wrecking Crew. That is what I’m worried about if a sequel happens.
Even though the idea I’ve went with a new Ralph and Lizzie is that it makes the film feel like a retrend of the first film. But it also continues the original story and builds on how the world reacts after the events and Chicago. Along with the possibilities of other people getting their hands on that pathogen. Especially that deleted ending featuring that giant squid.
Weirdly my first sequel idea is like a weird remake but a sequel. Okay remake sounds stupid it’s mainly for Ralph and Lizzie. Or some what passing the torch whatever which sounds stupid in this regard.
I’ll reveal this I had the idea of certain monsters like Jack the Jackalope, and Fifi the Dog being cameos of other animals being infected by the pathogen. Showcasing the fact this pathogen can make any animal be dangerous. Also it might be ridiculous or whatever.
Really though, I feel if a sequel ever happens. They might be simple with it. I’ve been thinking, Rampage 2018 as of now is a stand alone film. We just have to wait and see if Dwayne Johnson, Brad Peyton, and anyone else wants to return. Luckily quite a lot of folks want a sequel.
Besides no I don’t wanna change the genders of my characters Darlene and Gabriel. Just to have this more clear reference that the humans are like the human versions of the animals. Besides now that I think about it, I’ve got it all cleared up actually. Because the animal care takes have similarities with their animals.
I’m rambling now I talk too much on these posts. It’s just I’m a fan of the games and the movie. I just like to see another movie like Rampage 2018 and just want a sequel.
Alright the monsters I would love to see in a sequel will be the ones I’ll list. George will return no matter what.
A new Ralph and Lizzie, but more in a role like George. Other monsters are Boris, Curtis, and Ruby. Along with possible antagonist like monsters being Leon, Kingston, and Marco. But also especially V.E.R.N. I really wanna see him as the main antagonist monster in a sequel. Yet that’s a lot, again we need to wait and see.

Rampage Designs from my deleted blog. Part of an AU of the movie.
George lived in Africa with his family. then one day, poachers attack them and killed his mother, would have been killed if Davis wouldn't have come and he save his ass. He got sprayed by a thing, that fell out of the sky, his anger increased is dramatic. He starts to destroy shit.
Ralph was treated like shit by his own pack, all changed when something fell from the sky. He went to investigate and it sprayed something on him, his anger grew and he killed his tribe. The next day He killed mercenaries, who tried to kill him. He started to destroy shit.
Lizzie always got what she wanted, a large lake, the biggest prey and the best sand banks. For many years Lizzie ruled over her lake with fear and ferocity until one night a strange object struck in her territory. She went to investigate and found it was just perfect for a midnight snack. Her anger started to grow to the point, she had to leave her home. Later, She started to destroy shit along George and Ralph.
Larry's a victim of Endless torture, so when some human sprayed him with some green gas, his anger grew and he started killing these people, who put him in so much pain. Somehow Larry survived the explosion, but he didn't want to destroy shit then and there, He was like "SLEEP FIRST, DESTROY SHIT LATER."
Harley is the laidback guy, you would think that doesn’t care about life, he seems to be the chill boy, but inside he hates himself. Unlike everyone here, he was one of test subjects for Scum Labs, He was taken from his home and tested on by Scum labs and his rage grew very quickly.
Ruby was Scavenger, seems rare for someone like her, she’s one the more quiet one, she doesn’t bother with anyone around her, then a something strange crashed near her home, she checked if it was something she need, it spray some green gas on her, she’s started grow more and more, she get attacked more and that didn’t well for the attackers.
Boris had a great territory and found a perfect mate and instead of leaving her he decided to stay with her and help her raise their newborn son. One day he found something strange to him and it spread some green gas at him but he chose to ignore it. But, When his family was killed....... You can tell he would pissed off..... He went out to destroy everything in sight, not before he found the poachers and killed them.
Curtis grew up in group where they changelle each other to be the ruler, so far he had scars from fights, he’s basically a punching bag for the group. something fell out of the sky, it sprayed him with a strange gas. His rage grew when one the group members tried to beat him, but he beat the shit out the guy. The Ruler decides to challenge Curtis, in the end Curtis won the fight and he was declared the King of the Rats.
Beezleborg is a robot created to be a guard for Scumlabs and will goes as far as killing the subject to keep everyone else safe.(Also, she doesn't know how Gijinkas works)
Myukus was sent to kill the humans because genetic engineers stole technology from his people and He got his ass caught by human.
Vern is an Abomination, he was in the space station and his containment pod crashes to Earth. He survived the crash and his insanity grows as much as his malevolent nature is shown.
- I kinda based Wrecking Crew on Both their game and movie forms
- Lizzie is based off different version of Swamp Witch
- Ralph is based off Wolfman
- George is semi-based off tribal chiefs
- Larry is more like a asylum patient
-I was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I literally based Harley's human design of Bebop and Curtis's design Semi-based off the Rat King
- Nothing new with Boris.(Was based off Rocksteady? Yes.)
- Ruby outfit is based of the Skarlet

Spooky’s Thoughts on Rampage (Spoilers)
Gonna add this to a READ MORE in case there are muns out there who can’t read big bold print.....unlike everyone else on this website apparently...
I am so sick of critics shitting on films for being cheesy and fun. It’s a good chunk of those guys that are the reason why the Academy Awards have spiraled worse than a plane with a broken wing, and probably why a majority of big movie studios turned their backs on horror fans (an example is Paramount releasing Mother! instead of Friday the 13th for last October. They wanted an Academy Award, and that was it.)
But things are changing and not since the days of the Hensei Godzilla series have we seen a resurgence of monsters for new generations.
And that’s how I see Rampage.
Is the story predictable? Pretty much. We knew from the get-go that there was going to be a rampage, and a good chunk of the film actually shows what the creatures are capable of (sadly Lizzie gets the short end of the stick, since all she gets is a second of her swimming and tossing boats aside as if they’re rubber ducks, only to make it all up with her awesome entrance into Chicago, and just how much she freaking DESTROYS.
I had more fun watching that croc tear down a building than watching Godzilla give a MUTO a radioactive blast down the throat.)
The human characters are pretty lackluster. The standouts were The Rock and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, though in the case of Jeffrey Dean, the cowboy euphemisms grew a bit stale, though his character was delightfully savage and snarky, reminding me a little of Deep Throat in the X-Files where he helps you, but you can’t trust him.
The villains were a complete joke, and were a waste of time. But the main standouts were the Wrecking Crew, with George being a fleshed out, emotional character with genuine funny moments that makes him better than most other supporting characters in similar cheesefests.
And the final act of the films was balls to the wall. Seriously, there was more destruction there than in the Hong Kong Brawl in Pacific Rim, Godzilla and possibly even Kong, and the creatures were nowhere NEAR as big as a Jaeger.
What bummed me out was killing off Ralph (though he went out pretty awesome, even though it was dumb.....he accidentally flew into Lizzie’s mouth and she decapitated him, swallowing his probably still blinking head.)
I loved that wolf, even though he was a sadistic killing machine that ate EVERYTHING.
I read that there is a contingency in place in case the studio okays a sequel, but without Lizzie and Ralph, I wonder if the other monsters will show up, like Rhett the Rat.
Yapping aside......this is a good movie for a Saturday night. It’s not smart, kind of dumb, the humans are crazy.....but when you’re laughing at a gorilla flipping off the Rock, you know it’s worth watching.

So in the Rampage games, all three of the wrecking crew are pretty much the same alignment, I can’t imagine they’re smashing buildings for the greater good, even if Scumlabs is a... well... scummy corporate entity.
But if there had to be one “Good” monster in the group, I don’t think it should be George. The giant apes always end up being the soft hearted good guys...  Despite my bias for Lizards, I don’t think it should be Lizzie either, since we’ve got Godzilla, who’s alignment seems to shift with each movie.
Nah, I think it should have been Ralph, simply for the fact that there aren’t any other iconic werewolf Kaiju that I know of, and certainly none that protect humans... also he was the coolest one in the movie.

So, I played more of it. Deleted the new file I made for Sonic Adventure 2, but I didn’t play the game after that. I went to playing Peter Jackson’s King Kong and started a new game on that.
In all seriousness...the lighting kind of...sucks. Don’t worry, the game is playable and I’m surprisingly very good at it. Even with how tiring it can be to press the left button. But the lighting dude, maybe next time I can do something with my tv. I stopped after the fourth level.
I also played some Rampage Total Destruction...first the original arcade game and a little bit of King of the City in San Francsico with the Wrecking Crew...but I went back to playing the original...
I’m still annoyed by the fact you can’t play as Lizzie and Ralph. And I even tried changing the controller to the second and third controller outlet, but it wouldn’t let me play. But hey, they are almost the same sprites and play the same, I shouldn’t care that much. Even though I am aware Ralph shares the same body as George.
But replaying the original Rampage game...and just wanting to continue playing it for weird or not weird reasons...I love it. It’s simple and to the point.
Even though I had some worries. But the GameCube with the new plug in I've had for a while ACTUALLY WORKS. :)

aches: does my muse have any frequent aches? ie, muscle aches, joint aches? how do these affect them from day-to-day? [for any muse]
Yes, all three of them do from the pain of transformation. Sore muscles, tendons and bones are common. They all most likely have stretch marks as a side effect of the frequent growing and shrinking, though how noticeable they are depends on where you're looking.
Ralph has the hardest time due to his age (he was already an old man before he ever transformed) and often needs more time to rest after turning back into human form than the other two.

✬ : Something minor they enjoy (for any muse)
George: He’ll do little science experiments with various chemical elements, not enough to blow up a house, just something to be interesting to some of the senses (sight, smell, or sound).
Lizzie: Likes finding/making interesting outfits she buys in thrift stores. She’s had to get cheap stuff so many times when she’s changed back that she decides to go all out where she can/ The clothes are just going to get destroyed the next time she changes anyway, so she figures why not?
Ralph: Sings when he isn’t going to draw the attention of authorities. He was a singer in a metal band in his younger days and sometimes he just likes to relive the glory days.

Headcanons for The Wrecking Crew
1. The Wrecking Crew are are all a bit older than how they’re often portrayed in the games because I thought it would be interesting to write characters who had been living for many years off and on as giant monsters.
2. George is often shown front and center in the games’ media, despite the Wrecking Crew not really having much organization. While human however, he does tend to make a lot of decisions with input from Lizzie and Ralph. He’s often very calculating and can be somewhat ruthless at times if he believes he and his friends will be put in danger by others. He has quite a bit of medical training and often serves as the group’s medic.
2. Lizzie as a human tends to be the heart of the group. While sometimes she can be too much of a bleeding heart in George’s opinion, she will often try to make connections with others and try to prevent her friends from falling into total apathy about the lives of others. She’s usually the one most bothered by having to leave behind friends and allies.
3. Ralph as a human tends to be the mediator between George’s analytics and Lizzie’s emotions. He tends to be the most laid back, having had enough experience to know when to relax and when to actually worry. However, this doesn’t mean he’s a pushover. He can be just as cutthroat as George and on the rare occasion has had to literally knock some sense into him, as his mutation has allowed him to keep in fairly good shape for his age. His advanced hearing from his wolf form remains, allowing the group to avoid a lot of danger.

¿ Are they easily frightened? (for any muse)
As monsters, no.
As humans, they are frequently paranoid about who they can trust and they don’t tend to stay in once place for very long out of fear of being found by any authorities. At the same time, they are often forced to take their chances because they know they won’t survive without help.

George
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Faceclaim: Ron Livingston
Head Researcher for the vitamin division at ScumLabs’ Toxic Hollow plant. He grew cocky about the safe effectiveness of the newly developed MegaVitamin. Enough so that he tested it on himself, transforming into a giant ape like mutant.
Lizzie
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Faceclaim: Adrianne Palicki
Lizzie worked in the plant’s management department and was well on her way to a promotion. A freak accident caused toxic waste to get into the plumbing while Lizzie took a shower in the women’s bathroom. She soon mutated into a giant dinosaur-esque form.
Ralph
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Faceclaim: Eric Roberts
A corporate executive in charge of the plant’s food division. Ralph was always seeking out new ways to draw customers with exciting flavors. The corporation’s latest idea intrigued him: getting rid of toxic waste by making it safe for human consumption. One of the ways involved using it was sausage seasoning. When Ralph insisted on a taste test of the seasoned sausage himself, he found out just how poorly thought out the idea was. He became a wolfman-like creature, albeit an enormous one.

Unless this question has been asked before. To the Wrecking Crew. How does it feel knowing you've been able to turn into giant monsters for years now? If I recall you're kind of used to it but I don't know for sure.
George: “Well, I think it’s something we both have and haven’t gotten used to, if that makes any sense. We know that it means our lives will constantly be in states of flux. We can be in some cheap motel one minute and happily tearing down cities the next. The only constant is change. I also feel like we’ve seen so many strange things over the years that very little shocks us anymore.”
Lizzie: “It’s been good to not be alone in this. To know that others have the same sort of conflicting emotions and thoughts. It’s hard to integrate being a person with compassion for others with being a monster that would eat people without a second thought into who you are. So having other people who share my experience is definitely helpful.”
Ralph: “It can be exhausting. Changing back and forth takes its toll on our bodies, specially if you’re older. At the same time, I think it’s the happiest I’ve been in a long time. I have friends again who stick by me, even if we don’t always get along. It helps to go with the flow and try to find some happiness wherever you can. I forgot that for a long while, but I won’t make that mistake again.”
