Tbh I’ve always privately imagined in a non-Village scenario that Murder Mom and Murder Dad would have their first date either at a fair or like camping or something outdoors that mutual friends or other folks would be present at (I like to hc that them and the Wintereses are friends as you all know, although Ethan is constantly Suffering because he does NOT want to be bros with Karl lol) and the whole time I was writing that fic all I could imagine was Mia who’s obviously connected to Karl via Bluetooth headset trying to give him date advice out of pure love (and pity) for Kris.

Ok Sophie I don't agree with you about grammys not being about charts, tho I think you will agree with on the the racism part bcs it makes no sense how the weekend and sza and Beyonce didn't Qin any of the major awards while white people win them all the time, even multiple times.

the thing is that the grammys are up to the voters and there are thousands of them (i just did a google search and 12k people are eligible to vote) — it’s impossible for us to know what each of them is considering when casting their preference, so maybe some of them take into account chart positions and numbers, but it’s wrong to say the grammys take charts into consideration since they officially don’t and there’s not a panel of judges averaging out charts and sales to see who wins! also, them being up to individual voters is why racism is such a serious issue at the grammys without it being an issue with the grammys — there’s no criteria of the grammys that actually discriminates (at least afaik!) but there’s an issue with the values of individual voters because clearly some of them have racial biases and are not voting fairly. it’s a veeeeery multifaceted issue
