Orchis mantis.

For those who don't know, the little world I've built that Hanabee's story takes place in, it is a classiest society. Mantises are at the top due to their intelligence, as well as spiders just due to them being intelligent themselves, and quite strong.

Orchis is heir to the Hymenopus coronatus (orchid mantis) family, known for their power over the industry and war sectors of Crowstree (city most of my stories in this world take place,, biggest bug city lol. Even has some mice and very small birds living there)

This is orchis' mom, Lilian Mantis. A powerful and strong woman who may have a heart of gold but we aren't sure because she is kinda sorta violent. And a war hero so.

She's totally not foreshadowing how he's supposed to die lmAo
