#The True Ink Demon (Unstable!Bendy)

Note
In Bendy x Poppy Playtime, it'd be hilarious if Bendy just one-shot the Prototype. I mean, he's dealt with far worse in the cycle, which is full of fucked up shit. I mean, he basically one-shot Dudley with little to no effort and can bust down a locked bulkhead door easily, this thing is nothing compared to him. The toys can only watch as the thing that's left them in fear/was worshipped/etc is one-hit K-Oed by a fucking living cartoon character/demon thing.
Or it could go the cool route and him and Audrey merge into Beast Bendy to whoop his ass.
Bendy is actually a bit weaker outside the inky realm and abilities like ink teleportation are limited. That doesn't mean he isn't still highly dangerous. I can't say anything about the Prototype since we've yet to see his true form. Ollie mentions Catnap's shrine is a pale comparison to the real thing.
There's also that deleted message from the creators. In a video by Sheeprampage, he points out a comment from the developers in the official Poppy Playtime Discord which compares Huggy Wuggy to Anakin Skywalker and the Prototype to Emperor Palpatine. The fact it later got deleted could mean the Experiment could bring Huggy back to life.
Beast Bendy would absolutely wreck the Prototype though since Audrey cancels out the strain of being in the real world. Plus the complete form is more powerful than the unstable version in BATIM.

Bendy Bites 3: Feral Audrey
Alright, I was going to save this for later but I’ve been struggling with writer’s block and wanted to warm up with something fun.
Something I miss in some of the portrayals of Audrey is how feral she truly is. I mean, she finds the first unstable ink canister and her first thought is “IMMA PUNCH IT!” and she does just that. Doesn’t even think twice about shoving her hand through glass into a mysterious liquid. I could come up with other examples but I’m lazy.
This is a scene I will be writing into the story at some point but it won’t be for a while yet.
Later on Bendy (Ink Demon form) and Audrey are traveling together and he disappears for a bit. Audrey is just starting to worry when he reappears with an unstable ink canister in hand (he’s fully aware it will make her stronger).
Bendy: *offers her the canister* THE DARK PUDDLES ARE CALLING
Audrey: *takes it* Stop being creepy.
This isn’t the first time she’s found a canister and in true feral fashion she punches through the glass side and absorbs it’s power.
Bendy just watches her do it in stunned silence and Audrey notices him staring at her strangely.
Audrey: What?
Bendy says nothing, just takes the broken canister from her and pops the lid off (like a normal person).
Audrey, feeling silly: Oh. That would have been good to know when I found the first one.
Bendy: HOW MANY HAVE YOU VANDALIZED?
Audrey: …six.
Bendy: WTF
There’s a joke here about how men can open jars and women can’t but I can’t for the life of me figure it out. My inner feminist won’t allow it. *sigh*
Anyways, quick update about Born From the Same Ink I noticed a couple people asking about when I’ll be updating and I honestly don’t know. I got about halfway through the rough draft of the next chapter and got hit by a mix of writer’s block and life problems (moving, health issues etc.) and haven’t had the time or motivation to sit down and write until now, oops. I’m not giving up on my BATDR fics yet though!

Sooo I ended up coming up with 3 kids of Henry’s…
(This gonna get long)
Bethany “Beth” Stein- the oldest child. She got sick a few years before Joey threw Henry into the cycle and ended up passing away from it at 19 soon after Henry got thrown in.
Joey felt guilty about this and thought the best solution was to just. Make a new Beth for Linda. Linda had a weak heart and was already not doing well with everything, and Joey showing her a child version of the daughter she just lost freaked her out so bad that she had a heart attack and couldn’t be saved in time.
After this, Joey couldn’t stand his version of beth calling him “uncle Joey” but got attached to the idea of raising her, but she ended up being unstable and melted away. So Joey decided to try again, but instead of just trying to recreate beth, he’d use her likeness to make his own daughter, Audrey Drew
William Billy” Stein- the middle child. At 15, he lost his dad, sister and mom within a very short frame of time and only had his little sister left.
Him and his sister got taken in by Joey. Joey still wanted his own kid and figured billy and his sis would be ready to move out within a couple years anyway so he continued trying to make his own kid in secret.
Billy got suspicious and bitter towards Joey and ended up discovering joeys little project, alongside a journal detailing some of the atrocities Joey committed.
Unfortunately, Billy got caught before he could expose Joey and Joey infected him with the ink in order to not get caught. Billy managed to get away for a little bit as he was transforming into an ink monster and gave the journal to his little sister and told her to run, keeping Joey away from her long enough for her to escape.
Joey threw billy into the cycle and Billy transformed into a Boris with glowing golden eyes, often deemed “Borkis” by the rare few who see him
Mary Stein- the youngest Stein and the only one who managed to get away. She was 9 years old when all this happened and it destroyed her life.
She wasn’t able to get anyone to believe her, even with the journal. But fortunately she got put into an orphanage rather than back with Joey as Joey was under investigation.
She got to keep the journal and read through, growing more bitter and vengeful towards Joey as she read through his atrocities.
She also developed anger towards a certain monster Joey kept bringing up in his journal.
A version of Bendy.
Her favorite of her dads creation.
Twisted and mangled into a heartless beast.
It’s usually friendly grin now seeming sickening.
Joey was the true culprit behind everything, but it was clear from his writings this monster he created also caused so much pain.
So.
She vowed.
To do everything she could to not only get revenge on Joey,
But destroy his crooked empire,
And put down his horrific copies of her fathers creations.
No matter what it took.
At some point in her adulthood, she found herself working for Gent as a commander to Alan greys secret militia.
She’s not happy with greys experiments, but tolerated it in order to have access to his resources to complete her goals.
She only has one rule for him.
No kids.
Other than that, she’d let him experiment on whoever he wanted without argument.
In turn, Alan gave her access to the ink. She ended up using very small, controlled doses of it to keep herself young and strong until she could complete her personal mission (so she ends up looking 20 when she’s in her 40s by batai)
But once she discovers the ink demon resides within the body of a teenage Bendy, she’s conflicted.
On the one hand, this Bendy is just another monstrous copy of something her dad created,
On the other…
He was almost the same age as her brother when she lost him…
The ink demon was still just a monster to her,
But this was just a kid.
So she develops a new plan.
Separate Bendy and The Ink Demon first
Then take the ink demon out,
once and for all

2. twisted
The cartoon that came out of the machine was pretty as a picture, perfect in almost every detail, and had a bubbly, positive personality. But she was not what Joey had wanted Susie to become. (Set in an AU where Joey gets perfect toons from his freshly killed employees and STILL isn’t happy, the unpleasable bitch…)
“Progress report to GENT home office, Client; Joey Drew Studios.
With the addition of the new ink recipe to use in the machine, we have made an unbelievable leap in progress and have almost met our client’s expectations. What had started as a machine to mold life sized figures out of ink has now done things that border on being supernatural.
Although Mr. Drew seems unimpressed, even frustrated with the results at times, in spite of the fact that the models have come out identical to their cartoon counterparts.
The process of running the cartoon film through the machine for the figures to imprint on has been successful, but it looks like that unless someone goes through the trouble of making a short that only has ONE character in it, the machine picks what character it makes at seemingly random. That is our client’s complaint; that instead of being user chosen, the machine picks out which living, breathing, thinking ink models it makes at random. Upon working on this, if I were to be in the client’s shoes, I’d have several valid complaints regarding the machine and the models it created, but our client’s complaint… Is that the machine that doesn’t have a system that allows the user to pick and choose which model it makes yet creates a physically flawless model every single time, does not allow the user to pick and choose which model it makes. He never ceases to infuriate me.
On a sour note, there was an incident with the figure in the likeness of a character called ‘The Brute’. Upon its creation, it immediately went and broke our client’s leg in a very… well, brutal fashion too. But fortunately, it has not physically attacked anyone since The Cameraman figure was made as we have threatened to separate them if it keeps up that behavior. It still likes to insult people, and it still does things that unnerve me though. We’re hoping that the rest of the figures will be less violent and or creepy.”
Thomas clicked off the recording and sighed as he looked at the newly made report, there was no way he could submit this to his boss without someone sending in someone to make sure he wasn’t huffing in ink fumes and whatever the Studio workers smoked to consider any of this to be normal.
“Hey Tommy! I think I figured out the issue with the machine! Or rather, its fuel.”
The mechanic grit his teeth and turned to face his client.
“What? I wasn’t aware that there was a problem with it.”
“Why, Tommy, how could you forget? I’m talking about the figure deposit problem of course! Why did we get The Brute when we wanted to get Boris? Why did we get Cameraman when we wanted Bendy? The answer was so simple, why, it was even staring at us the entire time!”
“Uh huh…” Thomas did not look convinced. “And what was this issue?”
“The ingredients, the Ink of course! You simply can’t put blueberry pancake batter in an oven and be surprised when you get blueberry pancakes instead of blueberry muffins, We got those two knuckleheads before we got the real stars of the show because the souls used to make them weren’t fit to make those two, but the machine still did what it does best: made living cartoons.”
Tom had an uneasy feeling in his gut as Joey grabbed his arm and led him to the Ink Machine’s room. He felt like a sheep being led to the slaughterhouse, he KNEW what went down in there! He knew the other ingredients, not well, per say, but for long enough to judge them and their characters.
He didn’t shed a single tear when Sammy was used in it, in fact, he was rather pleased with the results before it started acting out like that. He and the music director were almost always at each other’s throats for one reason or another. If you asked him, the ex-musician was strange, rude, clearly mentally unstable, and sometimes even cruel. And even if he wasn’t, his physical health had declined so much over his time at the studio that it was obvious that he would die regardless of whether or not he was put in the machine. Feeding Sammy to that machine was an act of mercy, really, and even if it wasn’t, it served him right to become a- err, The Brute and have him put the former musician in his place- put his villainous ways to a decent cause. Now if only someone could ensure for a fact that The Brute would behave...
Now the other ingredient, Norman Polk, was a different story. The man was old, weird and kinda creepy. On the surface, the man was an ideal candidate. Like Sammy, he would die anyway and nobody would miss him when he did. But on the contrary, he seemed like he still had some good years left in him. And while he was weird and creepy, he had been those things in an oddly endearing way that most of the studio had either liked or tolerated enough to not be bugged by it. The mechanic didn’t know how to explain it, that man reminded Tom of a mysterious, mostly-estranged relative that shows up out of nowhere and was always there for you even if you don’t always see him. So when the man snooped too much for his own good and had to be silenced… Tom could never look the resulting toon in the eye, or in his case, the lens.
But the mechanic couldn’t deny that it needed to be done, after all, the former projectionist was far too nosy for anyone’s sake. Nobody who knows the secret of the Ink Machine (or rather, it’s unconventional secret ingredient needed for its ink) should be free to wander the studio and spill the beans.
And a feeling in his gut was beginning to tell him that that was why he was the next on the chopping block.
He had built it, he learned what it would take to make it work, he had done what it took to make it work, and it was working now; No more models that would only move a tiny bit before collapsing into puddles! No more off model models! No more issues aside from x, y, z… -No more reasons for Joey to keep him alive when it was now too dangerous to his business…
A tiny voice at the back of his head told him it served him right. The creator of this unholy torture device would now be consumed by it, just like how the maker of the Brazen Bull was the first victim it claimed.
At this point, he was almost morbidly curious on who or what the machine would make him; would it poke fun at his past and make him that territorial junkyard guard, Canoodle? Would it ironically punish him for his greed by making him The Fat Cat of the show, Boswell Lotsobucks? Would it acknowledge that although he was a villain to the bitter end, he still tried to go clean only for demons to drag him back down his dark paths and make him into Charley? Thinking about it, any butcher gang member would be a good enough fit really.
He was a mix of relieved, disappointed, and horrified when he was brought into the room and saw the unconscious voice actress of Alice Angel strapped to a mobile operating table. Joey seemed to ignore his reaction as he proudly showed her off and began to monologue.
“Like Boris, Sammy was a musician, simple-minded, and was very loyal to those he considered friends until the bitter end. But what made Sammy more like the Brute then Boris- Aside from body type, obviously, was that Sammy had quite the short temper on him, one that got messed with often, and a tendency to hold onto a grudge that can’t be swayed away with a good meal or a bad joke… Just like our friend; the Brute.”
Tom stayed speechless as Joey continued his seemingly prepared and rehearsed speech.
“As for Bendy and Norman, well, it’s obvious that those too simply weren’t compatible in the slightest! Sure, they both have their mischievous sides, but that alone doesn’t make a man into a good imp… However, do you know who DOES have more in common with Mr. Polk? That’s right! A certain smart alec-someone who knows a thing or two about anyone, everyone, and everything whether he wants to or not. Someone with a darker, more jaded sense of humor than our little devil, someone who can lurk in the shadows, or in his case, ‘backstage’ for safety or to gather Intel, but be happy and proud to take the front stage when the need arises! ...Alright, I can see that Norman’s soul may have influenced the personality of our Cameraman, but at least he did it in ways that make sense to the character.”
The mechanic continued to stay silent as Joey continued.
“But the main point is: we know what to do to fix this little issue. If we want a main character, we need someone who embodies the soul of that character. And Ms. Campbell here said it herself; Alice is a part of her!”
“Joey…”
“Why, she’d be thanking us if she knew what was coming! This is a dream come true for her! She always seemed to be the happiest when she was singing our angel darling’s songs…”
As if he was snapped out of a trance, the mechanic pulled Joey to his face, gripping the animator’s arms tightly and shaking him up a bit.
“Joey! We can’t do this! Susie isn’t like Norman or Sammy. She’s young, healthy, and still has a lot to live for. Nobody would buy that she passed on from something out of the blue, or that she moved away without warning or telling anyone. Everyone in the studio loves her and talks to her frequently! If we do this, especially so soon, they will make the connection, and they will find out about this. It was bad enough when Norman went, imagine if someone as well loved as her went too!”
Joey just laughed and slapped Tom’s shoulder.
“Oh Tommy, all we need to tell them is that Susie got her big break and is Bringing Alice to life in ways never before seen! And to sell the illusion, also tell them ‘you know how those folks in Hollywood are with their schedules, always a bunch of busy bees.’ They’ll bite, you just have to trust me.”
“What if they don’t?” the mechanic argued. “What if they start snooping around and start to piece together what really happened to her?”
Joey’s smile wavered a bit, but remained steadfast.
“Well, we’ll just have to cross that bridge when we reach it. And when we do, we’ll have our answer!”
“Nnnnggghhh…”
Both of them shuddered when they heard the voice actress start to stir awake.
“I swore I used stronger stuff in her drink…”
“...Jo...Joey..? ..Mr. Conner..?” The voice actress’s real eye widened in horror as she looked around, and her voice wavered as she grew more and more frantic. “WHat’s going on?! Where am I- Why am I tied up?!”
“S-Susie! Everything’s perfectly fine my dear, you just need to calm down a bit and I’ll explain everything…” He subtly jabbed Thomas in the ribs with his elbow. “Tommy!” He hissed “Throw her in the machine already!”
The frightened voice actress began to struggle against her restraints while Tom hesitated. Joey shot him a glare as he strolled up behind Susie and put a ‘reassuring’ hand on the weeping angel’s shoulder.
“Joey, please… let me go… Don’t do this to me!” Tears were running down the woman’s face, her voice was soft and breaking from her stress. “Just let me go and I promise I won’t tell anyone…”
“Now, now, Susie, there’s nothing to worry about, yes I know this looks unsettling from your position… But you and Alice are going places, new, big places that most people only dream of seeing! You’re going to bring her to life in ways that will touch the hearts of generations!”
A flash of realization crossed her face.
“Joey… answer me this: when Sammy ‘died from untreated lung cancer’ did he actually die from lung cancer? And when Norman ‘died from a workplace injury’ did he really…?” her voice trailed off a bit with uncertainty before asking her third question. “Did their deaths have anything to do with those two toons that showed up?!”
Her questions were not answered by words, but with actions as the two men stuffed her into the machine. When it turned on, her screams echoed throughout the mostly empty studio, chilling all who heard them to the very bone.
When they finally stopped, the machine whirred and roared to life and Joey rubbed his hands together in glee as he watched the machine work its magic.
Thomas, on the other hand, stood in silence while staring at his hands as dread and guilt sank in his gut.
The former man’s smile fell into a look of confusion when he saw a pair of gloves with ‘X’ marks on them come out, followed by arms that connected to them. That look of confusion fell deeper into a frown when he saw the arms stretch, curl, and twist when the gloves reached the floor as if they were streams of ice cream coming out of the machine at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Alice didn’t have arms that curled and stretched, but Joey knew a certain demoness toon who did; Miss Twisted. He was cursing under his breath, of course it would complete their little trio before giving him what he wanted! Now he wasted his one shot at getting Alice!
The rest of the toon didn’t even get out of the damn machine, it was like she was taunting him by continuing to stretch her arms and let them continue to coil in piles on the floor instead of showing him the finished product.
Furious, he marched over and grabbed the toon demonesss arms and yanked her out of the damn machine.
“Stop messing around!” He scolded before pausing and reapplying his signature smile. “Your friends Brute and Cameraman have been worried sick about you ever since their creation! You wouldn’t want to keep them waiting for you any longer than they’ve already been, right?”
He could’ve been imagining it, but he swore that she had a look of pure terror on her face before she put on a fake smile of her own. And was it just him, or was this Miss Twisted’s left eye slightly discolored, glassy looking, if that made sense for someone with pitch black pie-cut eyes. The grayer eye she had reminded him of Susie Campbell’s fake eye.
“Y-yeah! You’re right!” She pushed Joey out of her face, clearly uncomfortable by his staring but pretending to be perfectly fine. “I can’t keep my boys waiting for too long, who knows what they’ll do?” She chuckled nervously. “So… where are you keeping them? where are they hiding?”
“Tommy here will be happy to show you, just follow him and-”
“Thanks!”
The demoness chipperly chirped and swiftly yanked Thomas out of the room at a speed that almost insulted the man.

VOID DEMON AU HEADCANONS
Figured it was time I write out some headcanons for my Void Demon Bendy-Hollow Knight crossover AU since I've been working on really fleshing it out more as of late
- Umbra, my Void Demon, is named after the term that derives it's definition as a shadow that covers all light radiating from a source. Since he's the Lord of the Void in my AU, I found this name to be quite fitting for him
- I think of void as similar to how the ink from BATIM functions. Both have very alike properties in that they have undefined chaotic existence. They can be both a solid or a liquid, everything and nothing, at the same time. Home to a screaming well of voices filled with souls of the damned, be it the shades of the failed vessels in HK, and the souls of the failed experiments in BATIM
- Umbra's "true" form is a combination of the Shade Lord and Beast Bendy. This is his "true" form and the form of void given focus. His small vessel form is derived from Toon Bendy combined with a hatchling vessel, and his primary "mortal" form is a design made of both Ink Bendy and an adult vessel
- Umbra, like some creatures of the void, can "taint" mortal beings should certain care not be taken around free flowing void substance. He has more control over this though, as he is the God of the nothingness and as such holds extreme power over it and what capabilities it has when interacting with the world around it. He always has small motes of void floating around his body regardless of what form he takes, though these particles are normally harmless unless he's in an unstable emotional state and they thicken to become more fog-like around him
-He has spiney protrusions, similar to Ink Bendy, on his back. These spines can be pressed flat against his back in his vessel forms so that he is either less intimidating or for wearing clothes. His spell-cast abilities are limited to primarily void based spells, but he requires soul-based energy replenishment like other vessels for these spells
- Kinda..chaotic good I guess? He's chaotic, that's for sure xD He seeks retribution for the cruelty enacted upon the void as a result of the Pale King's and Joey's unbridled bullshit that involved all kinds of sketchy experimentation involving void (In my AU, Joey is a silver tongue showman who gets caught up with the King in unethical void experimentation and ultimately seeks immortality and power through his obsession with it). The devil is going to collect his dues
- Joey is a cockroach bc I said so
-White Lady and Radiance are not excused for what they've done either and they will get their just deserts. This is the AU where all the bad guys have a bad time courtesy of feral demon vessel not putting up with their shit anymore
Please do not reupload/claim/copy/take my art/design, thank you!

-childish
-troublemaker
-hot headed
(As a grown up)
-hot headed
-troublemaker
-loyal
-spiteful towards strangers
-cheerfull
-romantic
Here's some info:
-he was the second creature the ink machine created and the first to have a soul of his own.
-his death in 1934 accelerated the production of the ink machine.
-Joey drifted away from him after 2 years and forced him to voice Bendy until the studio went bank corrupt.
-he was found by Nathan Arch jr years after JDS went bank corrupt and brought him to voice Bendy once more, staying there for three years before pulling Nathan Arch himself into the ink machine out of anger.
-during the start of the in-game era he's about 26 years old, but still, fell naive to Joey's manipulation.
-he was tasked by Joey to play nice around Henry and lead him into the throne room, but he went against Joey several times during the cycle.
-he fought with Joey and still has some scars even if the cycle repeats itself.
-he's the one to hijack the lift during chapter 3.
-in the last run on the cycle, he fought with Joey in a more brute way than before, getting a bit of his ear taken off and a scar on his eye, Henry eventually guided him to lead Joey to the acetone monster who weakened the demon, only for him to be saved by Henry and Bond.
-during the second run in the cycle, Henry and Bond came across the first creature created in the studio, a blob of ink that was supposed to be Bendy, Bond formed a friendship with him, which lead to Bond giving the creature half of his soul.
-he, later on, goes to form a stronger friendship with the new perfect Bendy until it eventually becomes a mutual crush.
-he sees Henry as the father Joey was before his death, caring and loving, it was the main reason he betrayed Joey so many times before, even getting into fights so Henry could escape alive.
-he has a small friend searcher named Sarah, she was the one responsible for his death during a game of hide and seek near ink tanks.
-he's bisexual and has flirted with Both Bendy and Alice before during different times
-he has some trust issues and it takes him some effort to trust someone he doesn't know, he usually acts cold and mean to strangers if he deems them as deserving of the actions.
Tiny fun facts:
-all though not related to Sammy, he sees Sammy as his uncle, spending most of his time with him.
-Susie trained and guided him to be Bendy's voice actor and to withstand Joey's high demands.
-the reason why Joey choose him to voice Bendy was that he wouldn't have to credit nor pay him for the work, aside from forcing him to keep the childish voice until it was no longer needed.
-he teases Nathan a lot during after-game, mostly about how he was able to bring out his true self, a fat cat.
-his original body is a plushie created by Henry years ago, and it was a perfect blend between Bendy and Boris. After he took the form of the plushie the two halves became unstable due to the machine being rushed, leading to Bond having an uneven distribution, being 90% demon and only 10% wolf.
-he and Boris usually take on contexts to see who can gulp down bacon soup the fastest, they always get stomach ache which leads to Bendy having to comfort the two of them.

If you can do a quick summary of your hymms of struggle au please? I can't read very well and is really long.
No worries!!! I try to tell people that it’s fine if they don’t read it, since it’s so long. Before I get started here, I do want to let you and some other people that might benefit from it that there’s extensions you can get for Google Chrome that’ll read highlighted text to you! As of late I’ve been using that a lot to read fanfics, since I love listening but I need constant visual engagement (video games, videos, etc). I use “Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader” and it does a pretty good job!
I’m also starting a podfic of Hymns which you can find here. There’s only one chapter read so far, but I have friends that are recording future chapters and I’ll be working on recording too, now that my illness woes seem mostly cleared up and I can spend my weekends having fun. I got a brand new mic and I’m excited to use it!
Listening to that much in itself is still- y know- a lot, so don’t worry if none of this appeals to you.
So with that all said and done, here’s the summary you wanted. Kind of obviously, spoilers for basically everything about the story.
(This summary did not turn out quick at all so skip to the bold headers if its too much.)
Hymns of Struggle is an AU I started before chapter 4 with it being based only on the canon of chapters 1-3 of the game. It’s about a college-aged woman who falls into the depths of the studio and comes across the circumstances and characters that Henry did before her. But unlike Henry, she becomes convinced that she’s not going to leave anytime soon. So instead of using her willpower to escape- as Henry did- she uses it to survive the experience, especially in an emotional sense. She meets the monsters of the studio and discovers their humanity, and as she holds out hope for them, their bitter perspectives start to turn, and they began to see hope in her in turn.
Sammy is the first to meet her and treats her not unlike Henry; she is prepared as a sacrifice. However, as the ink demon not only ignores this request but heals her injuries (not really but she’s not dying anymore), Sammy comes to terms with this by begrudgingly taking her as his ward, as the ink demon for whatever reason wants her alive. The woman, of course, sticks with him at first only out of fear and morbid curiosity, but eventually they become friends that have genuine cares for each other. A big plot point is Sammy presenting the ink demon as a god before the woman gets any other impression, and so she’s inclined to view him similarly. The other characters- mainly Alice and the projectionist- have a similar arc with her of reluctance before they view her as empathetically as she views them.
The woman is only named in the fic once Sammy asks, which isn’t for a good 20 chapters or so.
Gingie (within the fic simply called the usual Joey Drew) is the main antagonist of the story. About half way through it’s revealed that he is still alive, and not physically changed like the rest, and that the others don’t know about it. Francine has to decide whether or not it is good for the studio to keep it this way, although Joey makes his misgivings very clear. The fic from the second half on shifts to this walking on eggshells of what it means to care about others- if it ignores other kinds of morality like lying and condescending, or if you have to be able to brave for the worst even if you could have prevented it by said lying and condescension.
This is played out in the fact that the ink demon towards the very end is revealed to be an extension of Joey’s deepest desires. Joey can’t control him- in fact often does the exact opposite of what he wants- but the demon plays entirely off of what Joey really wants. The demon makes sure Alice stays where she should. The demon made Sammy blind without his mask of faith (literally and figuratively). The demon fights the projectionist if he decides to leave his maze and find Francine when she goes missing. Joey doesn’t want anyone to be hurt. He’s afraid of what he’s made- the studio being a curse born out of a desire to see his son Henry again, that ended up swallowing everyone inside the building and trapping them for 80 some years. They’re inside his world, and he knows it’s terrifying. He stays by himself, trying to keep himself calm, to prevent something like with Henry happening again to the others and now Francine, who still has her own body, blood, and soul to keep from joining the disfiguring ink.
With Francine there, Joey’s tension builds. He’s both hopeful, as he watches her befriend the others, and he is very, very afraid. It’s not true, but Joey believes Henry is dead from that visit 30 years after he left. He’s so forlorn he can’t bring himself to find his soul in the ink. As Francine finally finds him- the demon bringing her to Joey against the studio itself (another, slightly more controlled extension of Joey’s emotion)- Joey has to decide on the spot to make up a lie that the studio stole his freedom as it stole Sammy’s memory, Alice’s identity, and Norman’s voice. But of course, he wants to know her too. Francine found lovely things in everyone, helped them remember who they were before the ink…who like Joey wouldn’t long for the same?
But as that becomes more and more true with each of her visits, her curiosity about things that don’t make sense become dangerous in his eyes. After Francine pieces together that something must have happened to Henry and Boris (who has never appeared to her), the ink demon abruptly rips her out of Sammy’s arms and at Joey’s feet, where the old man decides that in order to keep what remains of his family- to keep the studio from imploding on itself- she has to stay with him.
With her upset at this, he breaks down and the walls around his chamber fall apart and the others finally see him for the first time. Alice screams at him as he tries to call her his angel, and Sammy breaks down at proof that his god is not at all who he seemed. With everyone all at once screaming at him, Joey uses the curse to push everyone away from him. The remainder of the story is Francine and her friends Sammy and Alice defeating the ink demon, finding out the truth about Henry, and convincing Joey that he can set everyone free after all. In the resolution, everyone becomes human again, Alice/Susie and Francine have their first kiss, and they find Joey curled up and crying in his childhood home, having to come to terms with the fact that he is still alive even after all he had done.
Joey discovers Henry’s daughter, Linda, is still alive and he visits her in a nursing home. Sammy assures Francine that the eyesight he lost in taking his human form again won’t stop him from making her keep the promise she made of showing him every song he’s never listened to.
The series that takes place after is heavily focused on the studio’s survivors recovering from trauma, forgiving, and learning to enjoy themselves. Francine finds herself the caretaker of a real life Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, the young matriarch of people waiting for their surviving families to be found and reunited with them.
LONG STORY SHORT:
Sammy makes friends with a young woman he tried to sacrifice. His memories are forcefully blocked and she helps him find them again.
Alice and the young woman gradually fall in love.
Joey is the secret villain who caused the studio to be cursed and transform people into ink. He loves the studio deeply but assumes a parental role that is toxic- and is the reason Henry left long ago.
Francine gets Joey to realize what he’s doing and he sets everyone free into the modern world, where they have to learn how to live again.
OTHER DETAILS:
How the curse happened was that Joey found a spell that would- in his view- reconnect him and Henry forever. The ritual required Henry’s consent and thus failed; it needed a part of him (like hair or blood) and Joey used the first sketch of Bendy instead. This, combined with his mother’s ashes and his own blood, flooded the studio with ink, created the ink demon, and transformed both the building and the people inside it in a symbolic world of Joey’s unstable, tortured emotions.
Joey/Gingie before the studio’s downfall was very jovial and saw the *most* in everyone. He made people want to make him proud, and Joey believed of himself thanks to his mother that he was obligated to only be the best for the world and his loved ones. This results in a mentality that only perfection and ultimate happiness was good enough, which leads him to success and the beloved role of father/grandfather until Henry saw cracks in the man he laid his foundation/life upon and turned tail as soon as it felt unstable for the first time.
The ink demon is in the role of a god. The story is heavily based on Christian/abrahamic views of religion. Joey is the father, the ink demon is the son, the studio is the holy spirit. All the same, yet all different.
The themes are: the importance of names, being empathetic vs being selfishly loving, religion vs faith, and family. Francine is the color pink, Henry is the color blue, Joey/magic is yellow/gold, green represents the world outside and freedom, and black is the ink demon and the curse.

(Tumblr version under the cut)
(Trigger Warning: Body horror)
“GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH--!” Was her last, enraged shriek right before it was abruptly cut due to a cold, sharp pain that took the air out of her chest.
Dreadfully slow, feeling as that mimic of blood raised by her throat, she dared to look down, only to find the tip of a sword, the sword that... that... that impostor used to carry around.
She stabbed her. She tried to kill her! She inserted that foul, sinful weapon through her chest, rejoicing on her fear and silent panic, to later remove the sharp object from her—the only thing that ironically helped her to still stand on her feet, making her collapse onto the ground in a thump.
And as the inky blood run through her by routes that shouldn’t, clogging her lungs, dripping by her mouth, nose, and eye socket, and filling her ears with a deafening ringing, she saw them. Saw the impostor claiming her errand boy; saw the mangled wolf complying the silent orders of the fake angel, diving over the man and knocking him out in a swift movement; saw them picking the unconscious body of Henry up. And with steps that no longer needed to be furtive, they left, leaving her in solitude in the middle of the debris filled ballroom, waiting for the malicious ink to claim her, to finish the job and leave her for dead.
No... no, No, No! She was so close! After ages, she had finally found it! the heart of the most perfect Boris so far... Every other Boris she found and harvested, all grotesquely flawed with twisted muzzles, mangled arms, tails that shouldn’t be or even extra fingers; none of them worthy, none of them stable, their insides never did more than prolong what seemed inevitable. That, until she saw him.
His only flaw might have been the eyes –notches pointing to the wrong direction. And still, he was stable, he was strong, he could stand next to the demon itself and still prevail as immaculate as if taken right from the old reels.
He was the one. He was the closest to perfect. His heart could fix Alice at last! His... His heart...
She didn’t even have the chance to experience it, to prove that it was indeed the final piece, to see the results of all that has been her hard work! She didn’t...
Oh, Alice... She was so close, so almost perfect... even if she already was, she’d never have the chance to see it by herself, not anymore.
Did she achieve it? Was she at least stable enough? Would she even forgive her for all the atrocities she did to obtain what she desired most?
Black viscous tears trickled at the edge of her good eye as more questions roamed through her mind in her last moments. Hardly could differentiate whether they were real tears or just more of that cursed substance menacing to take her away from inside out. Not like it made any difference at this point.
She closed her eye, unwilling to see what she was about to inevitably feel. Only the ringing in her ears filled the deafening silence that solitude was.
She didn’t deserve this. She didn’t! She was just trying to fulfill what was promised to her. It wasn’t Alice’s fault to be so imperfect, it wasn’t! They... no. He. He was the one at fault. He was the real guilty! He made her that way... if only he’d have given her a chance instead of ditching her right away...
But now it didn’t matter anymore. She would never see her perfect face –if she even managed to make her perfect.
Did it worth it? So much hard work for... for... Nothing? Was she daring to doubt it?! How could—Of course it worthed it! Even if she’s not there to see it herself...
Soft, rhythmic thumps started to take place along the ringing in her ears. So quiet at first, she wasn’t really able to notice them at first. Only when the weak light that shone through her eyelid felt disturbed, she realized of the stop of that thumping sound, which ended with a rather abrupt stomp right next to her.
Something grabbed her arm, lifting it. Something solid it was, or at least more solid than she was in that moment. Her hand was pressed against something warm, rubbing its back, and drips hit her fingers; they felt so different, so alien to her own melting skin, warmer than her at first, but turning colder as they slithered through her arm until they became part of her own ink.
Was that a sob, she heard?
Slow, painfully slow, she struggled to open her eye. The dull light felt so blinding, even although there was something obtruding it from her sight, but was enough to engulf the figure right before—above her, backlighted, like a halo for a true angel.
Her features so delicate and soft, with a beauty only seen in the old cartoons, yet so very much real, so very much... angelic. She was so close to perfection, so close to be the true and only Alice Angel, as she should have always been. But even if she was close, she saw, still there was something off, something missing. However, it didn’t deter the smile that warily yet gleeful started to spread through her face.
“My sweet... little angel...” She hoarsely whispered, weakly reaching with her free hand to her face, thumb stretching in attempt to wipe away those tears made of ink from her face.
But her unstable, dying body felt too much the strain of that simple action, as ink clogged her so useless respiratory tract, sending her to a cough fit and spasms all through her body, quickening the ink claims over her, melting more and more.
With hurry in her mind and panic in her heart, the angel in desperation held her up in a sitting position, engulfing her with her arms, afraid of letting go, of losing her so soon. All the while her sobs hitched and jerked her body with every grasp of air.
“No... please, stop...”
“No, you stop!” Was the anguished answer she got, as inky tears streamed unstoppably, drenching the angel’s cheeks. “We... we’re supposed to do this... do this together. You weren’t supposed to... You shouldn’t have...” But the lump on her throat didn’t allow her to articulate any of her thoughts.
The woman in her rubbery arms tried to reach once again for her, but stopped midways, stare locked in her mournful face, on the frown that shouldn’t be there. But she’s the one at fault for upsetting her.
“I’m...” She reached again, thumb wiping away the angel’s tears, as she leaned on her hand, holding it with one of her own. “I’m sorry, Alice.” Was what she managed to hoarsely say, as her face softened, eye filling with reluctant acceptation and smile stretching in feeble reassurance.
“No... Susie, please, don’t--!” Panic filled the angel’s voice, making it quiver in her plea. “I don’t--... Don’t want to lose you, Susie, please...!” She managed to shout in a whisper, voice betraying her bleak attempt at bravery.
And so the angel curled over the fallen one, her body quaking entirely between sobs and gasps, holding Susie as tightly as she could, but afraid to squeeze too much, as she already felt the woman’s body dripping between her grasp.
Despair was not something she ever desired to see placed in her beautiful, sweet face. Yet there they were, feeling useless on how to comfort her little angel as she was the reason such despair took over her.
With all her insignificant might, she lifted again her gooey hand, intending to stroke some lose tuffs of hair off her face, but didn’t do much than just stick it together behind her ear with her dripping fingers.
What else could she do? the more the time passed, the closer she was to... to leave her... The ink was claiming her as tribute of her own death, and she knew that only would bring more suffering to her poor angel, leaving her alone, at her own luck in this hell she wasn’t meant to belong. She didn’t deserve this...
Treasuring the warm she gave her as her own heat faded, Susie let her head to limply tilt forward, placing it right on her shaking chest, feeling the soft, rhythmic beats of the heart that lied within her, as her eye closed while she only focused on them.
How many more would have she needed? She was the closest to perfection she ever was...! They were so close...
It was soft, but determination was gleaming through her half-lidded eye. Her angel was suffering, might not have been stable enough to resist it, and she was dying, would be lucky if any bit of her conscience blooms in one of those pathetic half-formed shapes; that would be too much to ask.
“My an... gel...” She hoarsely called her, pulling way too gently her chin so she could look at her. “I need... to ask you--”
“Susie, stop. Stop talking.” Alice begged with fear leaking through her quivering voice. “Don’t waste your strength. Please...!”
“No... Alice...” She was breathing raggedly, holding back coughs that tickled her throat. “Please, I need... I need you to listen...”
The fear in her round eyes had no right to be; she should be cheery and happy as the angel she was! Then again, hell was no place for angels, and she failed to take her out of there...
She had to do it. She needed her to be safe somehow.
“Alice... please...” Susie gently held her hand, the one engulfing her, and in a slow motion she placed the angel’s hand on her chest. “I need you... to take my heart.”
“What?!” She recoiled in shock, taking her hand away from the organ; some ink tendrils flying away from the fallen one due to the suddenness of her movement. “Susie I-- I, no! Susie, I can’t--!”
“You have to!” She winced at her own command, feeling the ink raising in her throat but containing it as best as she could, though a couple of coughs escaped before she was able to keep talking as weakly as before. “Alice, you have to. I... Alice, I’m not... not going to make it. If you don’t take it, the ink will claim it...!”
“But... Susie, if I do that, you... You won’t--...” Inky tears welled up in her black rounded eyes all over again, a knot in her throat was stopping her from verbalize the so dreadful thought: the total loss of her angel on hell.
Although even if grief was glistening in her golden eye, she already made up her mind. This was for her, even if the angel didn’t want to see it that way.
“If you don’t take it...” She pauses, slowly trying to reach for her hand, though her fingers were mostly melted by now, more like stubby shapes of what could have been fingers as they kept dripping more and more. “...then, Alice... I’ll be lost. No guarantees... of me returning as I am...”
“You don’t know it!” She protested, gently squeezing her hand back. “You... You already did! You can! You can come back!”
“What if I don’t?” She begged, her eye wide in a plea that, despite all her courage, couldn’t hide the growing fear of being lost in the darkness of the ink. “What if... if I become... one of those wrong, hideous monsters?!” Desperation drowned her voice. “What if I’m back as one... only to not recognize you... and attack you, hurt you?”
Alice was at loss of words. Denial wouldn’t let the possibility to down in her.
“No! Susie, that won’t happen!”
“How can you be so sure?” She defied, her hoarsely voice a stark contrast to the angel’s strong yet trembling voice. “What makes you believe... something like that won’t happen?”
Alice clenched her grasp around her fallen angel, as the hand she was holding was no more than a shapeless slime.
“Because...Because I know you, Susie.” She shook her head, as some drips of her own unstable and stressed ink flew around. “That won’t happen. You’ll be back as you! And... and then... Then we’ll be back together! And we’ll work our way out of here, just... just like we said!” With hollow hope she tried to reassure herself, giving away a cracked smile in a vain attempt to convince herself. “You’ll be back, Susie. You will. I know...!”
“And how long will it take?” The question froze the angel in her empty reassurances. “Do you remember... how long it took last time...? When I found you... you were almost a shapeless slug... unstable...” She paused, her voice just a thread from the knot in her throat and not from the ink. “I... I almost lose you...!”
“But... Susie, no. I’m more stable now. I can wait for you--!”
“No, you can’t!” Susie cut her off rather harshly, and painfully. “My angel, you’re... You’re not stable enough. The demon still can hurt you. You are spilling already your own ink...! And you still need... the hearts...”
Silence filled their space as Alice tried to think about it for a couple of seconds.
“I-- I'll stay out of sight! He can’t hurt me if he doesn’t find me! And... And I’ll harvest them! I can do it! I’ll just—just--...” She couldn’t keep talking, as the fearful yet disapproval stare of Susie relied on her widely.
“Do you realize... where those hearths come from? You can’t step... into his territory... Is too dangerous... and the ink...!” She tried to shift a little in her hold, to rub away the tear-like ink drips that flow from her good eye, finding rather difficult now that she didn’t have any remnant of legs. “Please, Alice... take it... Take my heart!”
“No...” She tightly shook her head, never breaking eye contact. “No... Susie, no. I can’t--...! I can’t...”
“You have to.” Was her final resolution, as she once again reached to grab Alice’s hand, this time with both of her shapeless, stump-like slimy rest of hands, and placed hers tenderly on her melting chest. “The ink... is already claiming me... Don’t let it take me away...!”
Between hiccups and sobs, she takes her hand away once again to wipe her own tears, hiding her stare as with a clenched jaw, she jerkily shakes her head in a painful and reluctant nod.
Were her body a bit more defined, she’d have slumped her shoulders in relief on her acceptance.
“That’s my angel.” She said, accompanied by a lovingly smile she still was able to muster.
Still jerkily, Alice placed her hand on her chest once more, spreading her fingers around the place where her heart was meant to be, pointed nails taking their position, rotating her wrist in hopes it would make it swift and smooth, and she bit her lower lip trying to gather enough courage to do as commanded.
“Alice...” Her whispering voice stopped her tracks, face jolting to her fallen angel’s. “Be strong for me, alright?” Her answer was a more assertive nod, biting her inner cheeks as tears fogged the las sight she had from Susie. “I love you.”
“I love you too, Susie.” Alice said with a cracked voice, as she leaned forwards to have one last kiss from her fallen angel.
Fear, sorrow and passion blended together as she pressed against the lips of her true, although fallen, angel. Dark tears ran down by both set of cheeks, yet Susie ones merged with her dripping ink altogether.
No much of her body was left as they still were unable to part away for an eternal farewell. Her hair, which Alice still held with her hand behind to straight her up, wasn’t more than a gooey mass that fell off in chunks as it joined the ever-growing pool of ink that used to be Susie’s body. She had no legs to stead her up, no arms to engulf her, but still her face, her lips, and her chest remained as solid as they could, at least to allow the angel to still embrace her fallen love.
Lips still pressed against each other and with closed eyes, she set her hand and fingers on her chest, readying herself to do as requested. She pressed hard, as much in her hold as in her kiss. And with a flick and a twist of her wrist, she drilled her way into her already soft chest, wrapping her fingers around the still beating heart, ripping it off her body right before the ink decided to claim that part as well.
And with no more to hold onto, she dared to open her eyes, only to see the still lingering face of Susie before the ink took her away definitively. She looked so relieved, so... peaceful, with a smile that actually reached her once scarred side with the purest sincerity. She was at peace, she would, now that she was sure her angel would be safe.
The angel stayed there in the deafening silence of the ballroom. The ink puddle that used to be Susie already gone, taken away by the malicious substance that keep them all trapped. And Alice stayed there; quiet sobs filled the emptiness that now resided in what used to be her domain, and with blurred sight she stared at the organ she left behind in hopes to save her.
The heart still beat, soft rhythmic thumps only audible for her. This was all that’s left of the sweet fallen angel, and she couldn’t do more than hold it tight in her embrace, afraid to let go, afraid to lose her at all, as the sobs grew louder and louder in the middle of her mourning.
And yet she already knew well what she must do with the heart. Susie gave it to her to protect her, to save her. Maybe not now, she wasn’t ready. But she had to. After all, this would accomplish what she always wanted, what she always worked for her. It was for Susie, to become her perfect angel.

With the Bendy x TFP, where is Audrey, or what about Gent? They could possibly play as secondary villians like MECH was, trying to capture the Ink Demon or nab the kids as bait/experiments.
Of course, there's also his old form. How would they feel if they knew how he was made, what happened to him and what he did, what Wilson did and how he changed because of it. June would, again, freak over how skinny and malnourished he is, and his more visible and hindering injuries. And the thought of Raf searching up Henry Stein for even a slim chance of the Ink Demon meeting him, or at least getting to visit his grave would be touching.
Audrey and GENT is currently unknown. Things hadn't gotten easier for her or Bendy over the years as the company been relentless in their pursuit of the Ink Machine. Our dear Ink Demon left Audrey for her safety since GENT's interest in him would be greater. Bendy was on his own for years hunting down everyone involved with the twisted inky experiments.
He planned on vanishing once the job was down until Raf cross his path. Bendy can see a lonely child and things were set just like that. Not all of GENT disappeared as the remnants would soon become MECH. Notes and discarded Keeper remains were the start with concept moving from ink to machines.
Bendy does revert to his previous state seen in the BATIM sometimes. It usually occurs whenever deeply exhausted or about to have a mental shutdown. This is him showing true weakness unlike disguising himself as Little Bendy.
It first happened when the notes found during Operation Breakdown episode were from GENT which includes bits of his creation and the treatment once imprisoned by Wilson. Bendy broke down, melting into the more unstable form seen in BATIM much to everyone's shock. This is the real him behind that cynical rough visage.
Bendy can't exactly explain his past verbally without rendering himself mute. Thus he has it displayed through a film reel infused with some of his ink to tell it instead. Everyone was horrified and disgusted at what went down. No one could blame Bendy though.
He was treated like a mistake meant to be hidden. All that isolation, hate and abandonment would break anyone much less someone who just been born. Joey refused to admit that he made Bendy like this. He even had the gall to paint him a monster for twisted time loop.
Audrey is the only one who actually tried to reach out and make a connection. You can say this is the point where Bendy made a claim on Team Prime. A very rare feat as to earn the Ink Demon's trust is to earn his aid and power.
Raf does look up Henry with some help from Fowler. The real man had passed away a year ago but they do know where he been buried. His children would one day visit their father's grave only to find a bouquet of inky black roses that never wilt.

What are Bendy’s powers?
Shape Shifting
Bendy has a kind of shape shifting ability. He’s liquid, so he possesses the properties of a Newtonian fluid, but he also has some preferred, pre-set shapes. His default shape is the little, chubby one, of which he has learned some semblance of restraint and self-control for all his wanton desires.
His ink demon form is a lot more unhinged; the buffer of sanity that stops Bendy from murdering everyone when he’s a bit angry is laxer in this form, because of which he is extremely dangerous in this form.
His most unstable form is the huge beast. This only occurs when he’s almost lost control entirely and is more pure demon whose only goal is to slake his many thirsts. Bendy is quite chaotic and wildly emotional. In his more extreme negative states of emotion he’ll transform into his beast form. He can enter any of these forms freely.
Teleporting
He’s able to take control of and reform himself out of any ink. As much as he jests, he is an ink demon, or God of Ink as some call him. Luckily for him he is able to summon ink from the Other Side, which means he can essentially go wherever he damn well pleases.
Demon Aura
Bendy exerts pressure. People used to his company have grown accustom to this, but it leaves folk with a sense of dread and foreboding. For revellers in the Devil’s Roost this gives a thrilling adrenaline boost that helps fuel their carousing for the evening. If Bendy’s mood darkens the pressure grows to oppressive levels, and it can drain you of all hope, joy and energy. A hopeless and lethargic prey is easier to catch. He is a soul eating apex predator after all.
This is especially true for those of angelic leaning; His draining effect happens twice as fast. The more pure the soul the faster his demonic aura will exhaust you.
In moments of very extreme emotion his demonic aura can shatter glass and move objects ambiently.
The source of his power
Sacrifice and ritual. As a fairly weak demon he required the energy given from sacrifice to bring him to life. Any sacrifice and offerings to him greatly bolster his power. Of course, since the event of The Bad Thing, he has devoured many toons souls, and he isn’t going to give them back…He’s horribly powerful right now because of all the residual soul power he’s got reserved like a battery pack. He loves a good ritual too. With the correct incantations he can be summoned, in which case he will perform any task for you, for a price….

What if in another AU setting, where we get a little more in-sight from just those who knew what Joey originally wanted to make a real life Bendy, but alive rather the statues that were made (because willing to bet that’s where the statues came from now since we know now the ink machine is just a MUCH bigger ancestor to a 3D printer) that Henry is trying to figure out just what went wrong, in hopes of not feeling as if he’s repeating the same hellish adventure. Henry wants answers on just what Bendy is (cause let’s face, we honestly don’t know.) Allison thinks he’s truly putting himself in danger, because despite what Tom thinks of him being dangerous, Allison eventually realizes Henry is just trapped here like they all are. So, much to Tom’s dismay Allison gets them to a shaky agreement that Henry can be trusted.
(More under the cut because DAMN THIS GOT LONG)
I’d also want Tom and Henry friendship development. True, Tom can’t talk as a Boris, but I feel as if Henry should be more questioning of the toon wolf. He may not be the same Boris we had before, but Henry knows that Tom isn’t just a stubborn old dog who doesn’t take kindly to new tricks. So, with more effort, Henry teaches Tom some tactics like morse code specifically for the bunker and sign language so there isn’t as much of a language barrier. Tom isn’t accepting of these offers, but he must admit, Henry is actually proving himself to be at least somewhat useful.
Eventually, once the trio needs to escape their bunker as an emergency, Allison is actually the one to free Henry and Tom passes him a weapon instantly, making him more trusted not as an ally quite yet but you can tell Tom at least WANTS you to defend yourself. Maybe something not as breakable or disposable like the gent pipe or the axe. The gameplay is still pretty much the same for the most part besides Allison saying they NEED to stay together. Thus, getting some interesting reactions if we come upon some new tapes featuring Thomas Conner and Allison saying a rather sad line like “Strange... that voice. It sounds so familar... there’s really a kind of happy nostalgia for it, but for some reason my heart aches upon hearing it?” As Tom glances away down at the floor with a more solemn expression. Also, I WOULD GIVE ALLISON HER OWN TAPE GODDAMN I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH! She was so underdeveloped that it really kinda makes me angry how pointless that buildup for Susie’s descent into madness. >:/
I could go all day about the potential of Tom and Allison because of how much hope I had for their characters, but I’ll get to the point:
So, we finally get to the inside of the ink machine and into Bendy’s lair. It’s a little more of a tearful goodbye, because quite honestly Henry has gotten to admire his new friends and WANTS them to come on the surface with him... with something like “You two... are my only friends left in this studio. I just... want to give you a better life than here. I want to set you both free, if you’d let me... please, come with me.” as Allison explains they can’t cross that inky river like he can due to their own bodies as told in game. Tom just nods along with Allison’s explanation as they both take turns hugging Henry. Allison sighs as she lets go with a voice seeming on the verge of tears as she dries her face off. “Please... live out your life once you leave this this dreaded place... It’s the only one you have and you deserve to live it.” giving a very heartfelt swelling music. Perhaps a slower version of the original theme “you left me in a heartbeat” as Tom grabs you by the shoulder to give you one last hug as well before signing “and good luck, Henry...” as we leave on a note that says Tom finally trusts us and gives us one last weapon; His own tommy gun he rescued from the bunker and strapped to his back last minute which we see him carry throughout the game.
As Henry steps through the ink before going inside the machine, he tells both Allison and Tom “thank you for everything! I will, I promise you that!” as we get the feeling in his voice that he was getting emotional as well as he watches Allison and Tom hold each other’s hands as they wave goodbye to Henry. Same thing, there’s a safe spot to walk inside the machine that isn’t all parts and gears, same weird levels of sci-fi vibes cloning new bodies of ink, we get more dialogue from Henry saying something about the tubes like “No! No... this isn’t right! A-all these people... not just Allison and Tom... but Sammy, Bertrum, Susie, Norman... Joey, you’re a MONSTER!” thus getting more continuity when Henry honors those who were sacrificed by writing their names on the coffins.
So, when we get to Bendy’s throne room and we find Joey’s tape with that special reel, witness Bendy’s transformation into his true form, there could be a cutscene where Henry panics and tries to shoot Bendy, thus making him more pissed and BITES the tommy gun crushing the weapon as he smacks Henry into a wall. Henry looks as if he’s going to pass out again, we see one last flashback of how Bendy was shoved away from public vision and treated as the monster he appears to be. Henry reaches for the reel in between as Beast Bendy stomps over to Henry, roaring in his face as he seemed to look like he was ready to finally kill Henry... before Henry gets an idea and with a bit of wrestling, shoved the reel down Bendy’s gaping mouth. Hissing in pain, the ink demon was quickly loosing ink, and similar to Brute Boris before him, coughing up corrupted ink that looked like searchers, but were far too weak or unstable to attack us and instantly collapsing upon themselves. Beast Bendy begins growing smaller and shifting between the previous forms he took from how much ink we was losing, . Heck, you could even put in concept Bendy as a little nod but still attempting to chase after you as you try to get away, turning off switches as you run past. He’s still INCREDIBLY fast as well.
Eventually, with enough of the ink tubes and pipes being destroyed by Bendy, he coughs up the reel, too weak to even muster an attack as you finally put the reel believing to end this once and for all. The cartoon plays and you come closer to Bendy, sounding as if he’s crying from either knowing his time has come or from the pain he’s endured all these years. Even put in one last voice clip for the beast saying something similar to “B... E... N... D... Y... wanted.... happy... end...” as Henry puts his hand out to the crying demon revealing his face from the demon’s point of view, though a bit blurry from tears and melting ink. “Hey. It’s okay little guy. Just because it’s the end, doesn’t mean it’s not a happily ever after. Sometimes you gotta work for the best ending. Come on, dry your eyes now. It’s gonna be okay now.” The demon heavily sniffled as it crawled closer to Henry as they sat and watched the cartoon together. “I.... Am... Lonely... I wanted... to be... ” the ink demon hiccuped as it wept. Henry with enough convincing tells the weakened ink demon that maybe he isn’t Bendy, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be and with a little help, Henry can help the redeemed ink demon.
But if you aren’t quite big on the sappy endings, than instead imagine Henry waltzing out, coated in the ink the now tiny Bendy spit up on him and fast asleep on his shoulders as Tom and Allison are both shocked and amazed Henry made it out alive as Tom’s ears perk up but eyes closely narrowed on the little demon as Allison is like: HENRY! My god... you’re alive!
Henry, basically covered head-to-toe in spat-up ink and bleeding a little bit from the fighting his new adopted son gave him when refusing to take a nap: Unfortunately, yes.
THERE, I FIXED THE ENDING
How exactly does it go from there?
Well, than Henry, Allison and Tom and a napping baby ink demon restored to his purest form all kick Joey’s ass right after calming down from the excitement and meeting the new baby Bendy. Allison might be crying a bit from being an auntie and Tom loves bouncing the little one on his leg.

#AND THAT'S HOW I FIXED THE ENDING#JK meatly I still love ya but I like redemption arcs more lmao#I'd also give Sammy more of a part to be honest#both allison and sammy being kinda not used to full potential still kind of annoys me#but I'm not too terribly disappointed about the ending now#especially since moving onto to DeltaRune is kinda helping X'D#bendy the ink demon#Allison Pendle#Alice Angel#Thomas Connor#Tom The Wolf#Baby Bendy#Henry Stein#Lei's headcanons#really long post#I'm not even sure what to call this AU#since tbh it's not an AU just a dumb drabble that my brain let grow out of hand#and wouldn't leave me alone til I wrote it#YALL BETTER REBLOG THIS THIS TOOK AN HOUR TO WRITE

Decided to try to redesign babqftim Ink Bendy.
Now imma be real
I actually really really like ink bendys design in babqftim
I’m an edgelord at heart and his design appeals to that
I honestly don’t hate any of the babqftim designs. I like em all.
My only true issue has always been that I personally feel like the bendy characters should’ve taken more design cues from their canon counterparts to be better recognized as those characters.
Giving them the classic pie cut eyes would’ve been enough for me
I’d have loved if babqftim ink bendy took more design inspiration from the ink demon
So when I redesigned the character, I decided I’d prefer to lean into the creepy uncanny monster aspect,
Rather than the cool edgy anime superpowered dark side aspect (which I like don’t get me wrong)
So I’d also probably rewrite him to be unable to talk or not smile when he first transforms into this, making his motivations and if he’s still bendy unclear, thus making him feel far more concerning to the questers.
Also, since this is bendys first time turning into this form and it was by accident, the form is unstable and malformed.
But will stabilize once he gets the hang of it, likely looking more like batdrs ink demon once it’s mostly under control
Idk why I went on a ramble with this design specifically, I just really enjoy ink bendy and the ink demon and all that fun stuff

open starter- Monstrous Demon
//takes place in post game you find yourself in a unfamilar studio, the walls were isntead of tan were a oak red like woodish color, the only sounds being heard were the grinding gears and the ink machine.. course that soon changes when a low looped like snarl was heard as a large shadow was nearby followed by a familiar forked tail.
