gift-wrapped baby that’s not a baby. saved by the doctor from imminent mortal danger but the snowman was hollow on the inside too…

Call me crazy but please tell me I’m not the only one who hears Paul’s voice here too, just below John’s?? To my knowledge they didn’t do voice doubling on this song and this is the only part where two voices are heard. Did Paul just decide to scream the verse too at this particular point in the song for some reason? Can anyone who knows more about it than me confirm or deny it’s driving me crazy.
If they are then it becomes hilarious, because I can just imagine the others in the room with them while they were all recording, being forced to listen to these two basically have musical hate sex, radiating angst while on the brink of a divorce all like

I'm currently in that weird in between of 'I'm still sick, but my body feels like it can already run a mile but I also know I'll fucking collapse if I do that literally'

Something more casual (and masculine) with very minimal makeup
During the several episodes of smog and dangerous air quality due to forest fires around the whole of Québec, my allergies to smoke/pollution caused my eyes to swell and crust, so I couldn't wear eye makeup and contacts for a while. My health was also bad, and I didn't dress up much during that time. However, on that rainy day, the air quality and my health were both "decent", so I helped my sister on her quest to find glasses that fit her face (we succeeded).

hi i'm a newcomer here, just passing through as i try my hand at the offline practice mode, but i'm charmed by the dynamic between heavy and medic conveyed through many of the fan works & wanted to discreetly slide a napkin with the titles of older songs i've listened to today that reminded me of them across the metaphorical table we're both sitting at.
strangers in the night (frank sinatra)
from russia with love (matt monro; is that one too on the nose?)
i get along without you very well (except sometimes) (chet baker)
speak low (frank sinatra; as in "speaking low" to hide their relationship from the other merc's on the compound.)
but not for me (chet baker; "i've found more clouds of grey than any russian play could guarantee" oh, banger.)
my funny valentine (chet baker; but the lyrics - "is your figure less than greek? is your mouth a little weak? when you open it to speak are you smart?" - reflect how heavy is insulted & undermined by the other mercs, in contrast to medic, who appreciates his competence, intelligence, and person entirely.)
much of sinatra's v-disc album features songs about short, passionate love in a very "if we don't get tomorrow, let's cherish tonight" manner that seems compatible with an anguished portrayal of their relationship.
thank you for reading! please share your thoughts!

After a massive argument with the other Beatles (which Paul has described as "the crack in the Liberty Bell"), Paul helps Steve Miller record My Dark Hour. He played drums, bass and guitar and sang backing vocals.
According to the Paul McCartney project he "didn’t receive a composer credit", but I'm going to go out on a limb here:
My dark hour My dark hour You know it's drivin' me wild Well, well, I went to see the doctor And I had my fortune read And you know, the doctor told me "Son, you better stay in bed" Who's that comin' down that road Looks like he's carryin' a heavy load What's that word that he started to say? Wanna come with me on my way? My dark hour, a mother nature's child My dark hour, oh, it's drivin' me wild Well, I went (to see the doctor) Just to have (my fortune read) Well, well, well, well, well (The doctor told me) "Son, stay in bed" So do you think these sinners will fall Or do you think they'll survive us all? Well, well, well, well, a-down this road Won't you help me carry my load? My dark hour, mother nature's child My dark hour, oh-oh, it's drivin' me wild Oh-oh-oh, mother nature's child Oh, yeah, oh, oh, yeah Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah
