GET BACK, PART III — Ringo doesn't talk much, but when he says he's not going abroad, they are not going abroad. And when he says "I wanna go on the roof", they're going on the roof. (x)

It has come to my attention that not everyone watched the Yellow Submarine movie three times a week when they were eight years old and, thus, does not have this scene burned into their memory. A few things of note:
1. Paul is so bad at acting. So bad it’s ridiculous. I cringe every time he speaks. He is trying way too hard and it does not work at all. It’s almost endearing how godawful he is.
2. George’s deadpan delivery of every line is so fucking funny. He’s not quite apathetic because you can tell he gets a kick out of saying it all so apathetically. Fantastic.
3. Ringo is trying and he does overdo it a little, but in comparison to Paul McFuckface he comes across as a virtuoso and gives a performance that is easily Oscar worthy. Talented king <3
4. Paul’s…posh? affronted gestures and reactions when Ringo is talking are endearingly annoying.
5. George’s bemused eye-roll at Paul’s Fixing a Hole bit.
6. Paul’s stupid little wink/laugh.
7. The SECOND John starts talking, they all immediately lose it. George purses his lips and looks anywhere besides John, Ringo distracts himself by making the most concerned expressions ever, and Paul looks directly at John, almost COMPLETELY breaks (you can see him swallow a laugh), and forces himself to go back into bad actor mode.
8. Every one of these photos would make a great reaction image.
9. All the languages :)
Anyway, Yellow Submarine is the only Beatles movie ever.

"Paul is my favourite musician. He plays great and is so supportive. I have other bass players on my records too, and I say to each one of them, “You’re my second favourite bass player.”" — Ringo Starr “It’s family. Sometimes we get pissed off at each other. I’ll want something from him and he won’t give it to me, and I’ll get pissed off. But then it passes. Brothers fight sometimes. There’s this revisionist history that it was all John and Paul. But it was four corners of a square; it wouldn’t have worked without one of the sides. Ringo was the right angle.” — Paul McCartney
