Dorian gray the guy you are!!!!

Drawing I did of Dorian based on a photo of my friend that we took at a sleepover!!! I had finished this waay back in October but am finally getting to posting it!!!

my own version of Dorian (or at least for this piece) it was based on something i noticed. in the beginning scenes at the garden, Dorian doesn't seem to have agency. basil and henry take hold of how the reader and how each other will view Dorian. Mr. grey himself seems to not speak much in the beginning almost like a doll that is made for display. basil's adoration and affection for Dorian kind of infantilize him, basil wants Wotton to shut up completely and not ruin Dorian's innocence, despite Dorian being an adult. where as Henry pushes pessimism and hedonism, putting these unnecessary stresses over Dorian's head. which kickstarts the rest of the book. Dorian himself just sits there, taking in this info.

i dunno i could be completely misreading the book, i have only started, i just find it cool and taking my perspective onto my own path, even if its wrong. :P

my reaction to episode 15 of flower of evil was literally the "i was so caught up in x that i forgot y"

in this case: i was so caught up in the ending being more sweet than bitter that i forgot how convoluted this gets. seriously how the fuck did heeseong get the gun. the man was about this close to being in handcuffs.
