Do you, COAD, spend any time thinking about what you're pushing, and how either your own biases or the agendas of those that submit to you cause harm to the people you "expose"?
I have been on the receiving end of the PCU's antics, and there is no love lost. I have been on the receiving end of people from TSE, too. And yet, digging into the actual "sources" when it comes to TSE, for example, amounts to them being hypocritical, and one person's retelling of what they felt, repeating: Felt, happened. And yet, over and over, you mouth off on this blog and mention the PCU and TSE in the same breath. It calls into question your credibility in general, and makes one wonder whether you actually have any sort of vetting process.
And no, before you go to your much-loved "cope harder"-style non-defenses, I neither am in or have ever been in the PCU, or TSE.
Tell me, tell the readers of your blog, why what you're doing is not effectively just a slightly different version of the public shaming tactics that your supposed enemies employ. In what way are you not just another corner in the metaphorical arena, shitting up the realm for everyone by perpetuating drama, and assisting with the legitimacy of inconsequential or even downright fake drama?
I look forward to an actual answer. If you could make it one without pointlessly calling people fascists or -phobes, that would probably strengthen your stance, too. If you actually have any defensible stance.
You must clearly be one who has not actively followed this blog for a while, or at all. We have on many, many occasions outlined out why we do what we do. We will assume that you are not just another bad faith poster trying to get a "hah gotcha" for a moment here and address the core of your point here.
Argent Dawn for the longest time had no means of community reproach against large cabalistic type guilds (if you're not with us you are against us sort that you often see here) who could with impunity attack players without consequence (hence the blog title) of any sort.
Oh but you could report them to Blizzard? Do we need to direct you to how inept Blizzard's reporting system is? How easily abused it can be? How a single stalker has made a certain player's life misery for years on end and has not been dissuaded at all? (We made a feature on this too, which you would know if you followed) Or how about another certain guild who uses the reporting system to actively abuse and silence anyone who speaks ill about them (which has been proven as well by several independent sources, which you would also know if you followed).
We have always been and will always be the voice for independent players who don't have that cult like, cabalistic clique to fall back onto to support their twisted opinions (and then get hilariously curbstomped by the community regardless with 225 dislikes to 35 likes). We have always been a voice for those who have encountered abuse off disgusting and maligned individuals who exploit peoples trust and naivety but also use the clout of being a prominent guild leader with a large devoted following for over 15 years to in effect force any thing they dislike in their surroundings to either be forced off the scene or harassed off by any means.
We are not 'perpetuating drama' we expose those who want to hide what they truly are to the rest of the server. We have an archive of over five years worth of evidence of just how vile some people on this server are and the rest of the server deserves to have that knowledge before them when making a decision if they want to actively roleplay with someone who has behaved with underage players in an inappropriate manner, stalked vulnerable women and minorities or otherwise actively supports extremist ideologies that have no place in a civilized society, online of offline.
Remember, silence is acceptance of something occurring.

needle in a haystack
Emery stretched as she stood.  Her limbs protested the movement, reminding her that she had spent a good part of her day hunched over an old book, her hand scribbling notes on paper as she read.  It was how she spent the last few days and how she would spend the next few as well.
The life of a researcher.
She knew that she was paying her dues.  No one got to step in front of students right away.  At least not until they had combed over archives, dug through old journals and newspapers.  Published things that put their name out there.  She had done some of those things and she was working on the last one.  She hadn’t really had any preference as to where she did it --- well, that was until her father had gotten sick.
In the back of her mind, Emery knew that it was now or never.  Everything she had talked about with her father loomed over her head and she wanted to make sure that she was able to get it done in time (she didn’t want to dwell on what that imaginary deadline meant).  So with that in mind, she had come to Port Charles where she was determined to split her time between research for the University’s historical department and research for herself.
The Ward Family History.
It was rich and full, with roots partially in this town.  She had come here in hopes of finally getting those roots under control but so much of it had gone by the wayside.  Including the most important piece.
It was frustration and that looming deadline that had her seeking him out.  She knew nothing of Curtis Ashford, just that his name (along with Sam McCall’s) was the first that came up when you searched private investigator in Port Charles.  She had no idea if he would be even interested in something like this but it didn’t hurt to try.
With that in mind, she left the confines of the PCU library and headed to the address that her search had given her.  Once there, she rapped lightly on the door.  “Mr. Ashford?  Ms. McCall?”

Another desk photo! Haha, I am making this a trend.
I stumbled across this old photo yesterday. Before we know it High Hallow will be around the corner, and everyone will be talking about or working on their Romping costumes. Not sure my plan this year, so I was searching the PCU archives for old photos trying to spark an idea when I found this photo. At first, it amused me. So I took my own photo of this photo (i know, i know) since I wanted to share it here as well.
After I looked at it for a while, I felt bad that I was amused. On the one hand, I don’t blame these kids directly for engaging in an act that is tantamount to speciesism. Odds are they were encouraged by a teacher or their parents. I am sure at the time no one thought of what they were doing. Just silly dress up game in the spirit of the holiday.
But, in reality this sort of thing is offensive. The dauger are a noble people. Their masks are an important part of their culture and society. Seeing a bunch of human kids playing dress up and treating dauger culture as if it was a costume has to rub them the wrong way, right? After I thought about it, it just rubbed me the wrong way as well. Instead of being amused I just felt uncomfortable.
Thank the Shepherd this sort of behavior doesn’t go on anymore.
Anyway, rant over. What do you think?

hi, not sure if this is the right place for this but anyway.
didn't know about consequences of argent dawn until it was being screamed about on the forums by a group of players over the last few days.
im not sure if this 'coalburnt' fella knows about the striesand effect but he's only increasing the exposure of this place and after a looksie at the tags associated with him here i can see why he doesn't like you guys but at the same time a grown ass man acting the way he has is completely unacceptable.
i'll be sure to share this page with my friends because a lot of them have had worries about people like the pcu in the past as well.
All publicity is good publicity as they say. Please do remember to use the "archive" feature which can be accessed by going to this link here or by pressing the "..." button beside the "Follow" button and then pressing "Archive".
We have endeavored over the years to keep a tagging system going though it is not entirely perfect, though the archive system itself is suitable enough we believe. If you like our work please share with your friends and if you have submissions of your own please feel free to do so either in the "Confessions of Argent Dawn" button or again by the "..." button and pressing "Submit"

I thought this page is against bullying yet you target people and bully them publicly with very little evidence to back it up. I don’t get it, but the hypocrisy is entertaining.
Plenty of evidence dear reader! Please do remember to check the archive tab! https://consequencesofargentdawn.tumblr.com/archive for our technologically illiterate readers!
On that note we have recently reached the 1500 posts! We could not have done this without our keen and adroit contributors, supporters and affiliates.
Not to mention the encouragement our PCU superfans have given us over the years to remind us why we need to keep continuing.

Are the PCU officers/higher ups known to god emote and meta game? Over the years I have encountered several high profile players god emoting and meta gaming in various ways. I always thought that this took the fun away from roleplaying and consequences of player actions but people still did it anyway.
Luciase for example was well renowned for having 'bullet ridden shoes' as that many people tried to shoot his character IC and the bullets even at point blank range always seemed to miraculously hit his shoe. While he did this, he expected characters to accept death when they were surrounded by his thugs IC.
Ottaline and the Beylockes had some magic whistle that would summon Joshua Venomheart and the entire Wolves Silhouette guild whenever they were in trouble. I remember one time one of Ottaline's schemes had back fired and her character was at serious risk from the mob. Venomheart wasn't even in the same zone and his whole pack of 20 players showed up and started attacking people in the mob. Venhomheart was a frequent visitor of Ottaline's 'courtesan' house in Dalaran.
Cathan Felian had been brought to Stormwind for the 9th/10th time on trial for various war crimes against the Horde and Alliance alike as well as being a general deviant. A bunch of the Arathi Honour Guard infiltrated the city to bust him out so he could avoid the consequences (disguised at first). They were exposed and the AHG members went on a rampage and started trying to kill random civilians in their escape for no reason. There was a Gnome Engineer called Menkins who they rode down on their horses on a street. They also ICly killed a stable hand who did absolutely nothing to them which my character witnessed IC. Realistically all of the AHG would've been swarmed and killed by the Stormwind Guards. Yet all the AHG plus Cathan came out unscathed and had killed 4 or 5 characters
The Royal Court/Hrothgarr and judge character alts. Whenever the Royal Court and or Hrothgarr were annoyed at players or guilds they would use their anonymous judge characters to convict people or crimes or someone them to Stormwind. Usually these would consist of long Argent Archive posts and the DiCU guilds would spread this around. One of Hrothgarr's alts was exposed once for publishing a massive wanted list which had 25+ guild leaders, officers and players on it. I led a guild at the time and somehow my character was on there wanted as 'dead' for crimes against the Kingdom of Stormwind. My character criticised the royal court once but apparently that was enough for a death warrant. I remember some edge lords (employed by Hrothgarr) came to attempt to assassinate my character on a guild campaign and at the time I had no idea about the wanted list until one of my friends told me about it. Hrothgarr's judge character had put players like Arthedun and Grelind on the bounty list as well but they were dead or alive. I'm not sure if the above was sanctioned by Didonus or not.
Speaking of Didonus, he would pretend to be 'AFK' in his office whenever he was caught off-guard or was without his cronies to avoid consequences. My friend led a small Knight guild and they were embroiled in an investigation to discover who was responsible for the murder of a town crier who was critical of the Royal Court. They spent months investigation and it led back to Didonus (who hadn't covered his tracks well in this case). 6 of these Knights went to confront him and Didonus did the whole 'AFK' trick. However, he must have accidentally slipped on his keyboard as he hit an arrow key and then realised they knew he was very much there. The Knights said they were going to detain Didonus and take him into custody to stand trial for his crimes. Didonus let his mask slip (probably because there weren't any witnesses from his sphere there) and accused the Knights of treason. He went full Darth Sidious and emoted flipping across the room from his desk at them (using the blink spell so he was behind them) and despite being a mage he started throwing warlock & fel spells at them (they were kill attempt emotes as well). My friend and his guildies were like 'wtf' in their guild chat as this was all going on in Stormwind Keep. One of them managed to actually get a blow on Didonus but Didonus had killed 1 of the 6 knights ICly. Didonus then starts running realising he was in a bad situation. Then conveniently for Didonus as he starts running Nasias, some of her justicars and Didonus' guards show up and just start attacking these Knights in the corridors of Stormwind Keep trying to kill them without asking any questions (it is assumed Didonus had skyped them to get them online to help him). Didonus was real angry he'd been caught with his pants down as he sent his cringe spy guild to try and kill off the Knight guild as well as other agents. Eventually the guild disbanded as there was just too much pressure from the DiCU.
There's plenty more stories in AD's history like this. Can you recall any from the PCU?
This is a very detailed and highly informative account, so on that basis alone we thank you for the contribution. To answer the original question posed however - the PCU leadership effectively ignore any action in RP that they don't deem to fit within their world view and have actively altered their own positions so that they can't "lose".
Case in point when Sylvanas betrayed the Horde (who couldn't see that coming), Perroy went out on a huge tangent and wrote that his Rotgarde were 'loyalists' to Sylvanas along with the rest of the 'Stygian Legion" (the in game name for the PCU collective). Cut then to Shadowlands and suddenly all of the names in said Legion are mysteriously pardoned.
While the examples you have listed above are well known to use, In general the DiCU and their orbit of guilds have always been more egregious in blatant avoidance of consequences of their action. The PCU methodology has always been to gaslight others into thinking they are the ones in the wrong and that the PCU has simply always been right, even when faced with physical evidence contrary.

Whatever happened to Sathrynn? such a major void on them in the last few months. Kind of weird how they vanished.
Sathrynn has been effectively banished to the Shadow Realm after this expose proving our long standing concerns about their conduct and the company they and the Forlorn Order keep.
The greater context of this was the Forlorn Order and Sathrynn hypocritically attacking one of Argent Dawn's longest term community event providers on the utterly brain dead "gotcha" of a crude (and self deprecating) joke they made in one of the urls of an upload to the Argent Archives (yes, basically a nothingburger.)
Compared to the company that they keep such as this individual in particular. Instead of simply putting their hands up and admitting blatant double standards and apologising for it, they doubled down, multiple times.
A quick search for the #sathrynn or #the forlorn order tags on our archive will net readers quite the smorgasbord of typical enclosed clique mindset hypocrisy in action. It was no wonder Sathrynn and her friends got on very well with the likes of the PCU, considering the general shared proclivities.

PCU dudes or "A3" as they want to know can't even keep their story straight in their own apologia thread. You've got some sheepishly admitting that yeah, they had weirdos and yeah, perhaps they should have done something about it. That's good, but it's completely overshadowed when you have:
utter boneheaded deadasses saying "UGH IT WAS SO LONG AGO WHO CARES" well... us? Clearly? Fucking nonce-supporters. Don't even try to deny that the PCU was clean of ERP, you don't need COAD to tell you there's ERP going on in every guild, especially ones with horny 14-20 y/o males forming the majority of the playerbase.
Just because the abuse was 3, 4, 5, however many years ago does not mean it's invalid. There are people who have gone 20+ years without disclosing trauma because the pain it caused, the discomfort, the humiliation and because the abusers were in unassailable positions.
I don't always agree with COAD, in fact i disagree with a lot of their tone and language but one thing they have always had going for them is they will call out abusers no matter what. Argent Dawn needs a serious #MeToo movement because this is what happens when you have poorly adjusted (mostly white, mostly male) social rejects given a platform for unlimited reach and zero oversight, they get abusive because they feel its their 'right'.
If the A3 are absolutely serious about NOT being the PCU they definitely need to come out and start cutting the weeds and maybe in an act of good faith their guild leaders making some sort of apology.
Sorry for the long winded rant but seeing the likes of Boush(Atahalni) and Koiffen sit in that thread with a straight face pretending they didn't actively egg on and encourage gross abuse of female players and gay players for YEARS is staggering. I can even give Coalburnt, who on more than once called on people to /drink bleach/ a relative pass because he hasn't immediately dived into raging and calling everyone 'soytastic' as his usual form does.
In a number of private conversations this has been a large sentiment from non-PCU aligned people. They are happy to see them move on and try to be better versions of themselves. We absolutely always encourage improvement of oneself and part of that comes from recognition of your own faults.
The issue, from other conversations we've had from PCU members who have approached us appears to be many of the newer players are completely unaware of the abuses happening. To that we say - please elucidate yourselves in our archives.
This does not excuse as you say long term members who were present at the height of the abuse, Boush, Koiffen, Grim Gest and Rotgarde "veterans" as you may call them from not being held over the coals.

You said the PCU was dead, but they are returning in numbers with their guild threads appearing on the forum and they are RPing again in numbers ingame. Seems that you are wrong again. How's that coping and seething Coad? What was it you said? "See all Truths". Seems you just like being under FOOT of the Harbinger instead. Or maybe you are living rent feet in your own head.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Despite the absolute word salad you gave us, we thank you for proving how unhinged the PCU actually is, no matter what kind of name they take.
Tumblr media
It is satisfying to know that the opinion of our collective is being taken seriously! Though at this point our regular 300+ active readers and 1000+ weekly visitors far dwarf anything the dried out detritus of the PCU can manage.
Those who are responsible for taking part in mass harassment campaigns of vulnerable players, many of whom are minorities, the endless witch hunts against players who did nothing but play something the PCU deemed 'bad', yes they will be held to account. We have the lists already written, published here on our archive no less. People know WHO to avoid and WHO the PCU members are.
And as a reminder to anyone who can't read, anyone claiming to be CoAD or affiliated with us in game are not part of CoAD. We see all truths, we do not need to tell people who we are when we are already everywhere.

In light of the formal disbandment of the PCU we've thought it prudent to update our, probable last, listing of PCU guilds. The brand is dead and buried, the majority of remaining guilds within the old cult have removed references to their former affiliation with Perroy's gaggle of goons.
While we won't for a moment dare claim this is entirely on the work of CoAD, we can only hope that we have helped highlight with our archive documenting the absolute madness and weirdness that the PCU allowed to fester, at its highest echelons no doubt, has contributed to the weight of consequences on these peoples shoulders.
It has become common discourse now on the public forums that the PCU did shelter and abet some truly disgusting individuals who have actively been praised and held as exemplars in the past (Stormbinder, Vyst, Morsteth, Perroy himself as well) who's activities could quite well have veered into the realms of illegality, and even if not, utterly morally bankrupt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sooner the PCU's former guard expunge and clean themselves up of their bullyboy past and express genuine contrition for the associations of the past, the sooner our server can move past the clannish and bigoted past they promoted.
Tumblr media
Dear Lintian, we do not need to justify our existence because there are always foul persons and groups on this server that deserve exposure, we have always made it clear from the outset that our 'targets' are the abusers and bullies of the server, but least of all do we need to justify ourselves to a hollow talking-head as yourself.

Regardless of your extensive archive, which is an over-tagged mess and an utter hell to sift through, you're just proving people right by continuing the snark. It's hard to be less likable than PCU but you're really trying
So you acknowledge it is there. Good. Next please.
