as much as I would like to believe that Frederick and Asuka could be friends again, like, Freddy is building that rocket as fast as he can to kick his ass before the residual FoC and Gear power leaves his body. I'm sorry. I know I'm the Asuka apologist but dude. Nearly 2 centuries of the most unimaginable agony and festering sense of betrayal, compounded by Asuka goading him intentionally on multiple occassions (his reasoning behind all this goading aside) he is not just going to be able to let that go.

Asuka's crimes against humanity are one thing, you can argue til you're blue in the face about that and there's actual ground to cover there, but what he did to Frederick and Aria is like... damn dude. You, without their consent, turned them into gears. You lied about it to their faces too. Aria, someone who is cited as having her identity and who she is as a human being be one of the most important things to her, trusted you to put her into cryosleep because you said you'd find a way to save her so that she could be with Frederick. She didn't want that, she wanted to stay and spend the time she had left with Frederick instead, but she let you convince her cause she trusted you. And you took away her body, identity, and autonomy. You took Sol's humanity from him following that, lied to him about it, and then spent 200 years pissing him off so bad on purpose to make sure he'd always be there to help you fix everything. Oh, and then you made him kill his wife that you mutilated. Twice, essentially.

I love you Asuka, but shit, that's all kinds of levels of fucked my man. Frederick justifiably hates you really REALLY bad. I hope we get something in Dual Rulers settling this, cause Frederick just letting that go even following the events of Strive is just kinda unrealistic.

I just learnt that Thorns Alter is coming out in CN & I am so hyped for the next months of Arknights.

You may remember me going on about meta rolls, horny rolls & story rolls before. I will bring that up again first before talking about the upcoming banners.

I got enough operators to do everything I need to do in game, so I don't care about meta & I don't roll for meta. I can do most things with welfare units. I also got enough other units to do themed stuff when I feel like it. I did the Lone Trail rerun almost entirely with units that are Rhine Lab (Silence Alter, Mayer, Astgenne, etc) or Rhine Lab adjacent (Anthony Simon, Kafka, Rosmontis, etc), with the exception being needing Myrtle & Scavenger as the two DP generators because I don't have Muelsyse & Rhine Lab teams are very DP hungry. I did the original event on a welfare-only team (Yato & Gravel used on the up/down switches) .

Horny Rolls = I'm a bisexual virgin, this game has some characters that I find attractive. So some of my rolls are based on that.

Story Rolls = These are the characters I've come to really enjoy their presence in the story. I'm not attracted to them, but they are awesome.

We have

Ulpianus release in December with Path of Life banner. I don't care how stacked everything else is in the coming months, I haven't rolled for anyone since R6 (excluding free rolls from Chapter 14 banner), because I needed to keep some Originium left for Ulpianus. I am getting Ulpianus, he will complete my Abyssal Hunter set.

Followed by a gap where I don't care enough to roll on the banners, giving me time to rebuild my stockpile. I might have rolled on Hortus de Escapismo rerun if I didn't know we had Delicious on Terra coming up. But we do, so skip.

Engraver of Quicksand provides a free 10-roll at the start + one free pull a day, so I can probably get the 5-star Sand Reckoner entirely on free pulls. I won't waste my saved pulls on this event because I don't want the 6-stars, but Sand Reckoner is a cutie, so I can risk the free pulls. More time to rebuild stockpile from Path of Life

Here is where things get stacked

Dungeon Meshi collab aka Delicious on Terra. Yeah, I know none of them are meta, I don't care for. I don't roll for meta. I like Dungeon Meshi, I want the Dungeon Meshi cast, so I am getting them.

Brief break for rerun of the Blacksteel event. I wish Woodrow Bianchi was playable, but he's not. This is the last break in the schedule as the final 4 dot points are all banners I want one after another.

Orienteering 1 = Yeah, none of them are new, but I tried & failed to get Hoederer & Ines. I only skipped Logos because I didn't want W Alter. The only one of these 6 I have is Ebenholz (He was in the Gold Cert store, I grabbed him). You can pick 3, who will be the only 6 stars on the banner. Hoederer, Ines, Logos, enough said.

Vina Victoria. It's official, Vina Victoria is here with "Ending a Grand Overture" update.

We Mischievous Few = Lappland Alter + Vulpisfoglia (Suzuran's gangster mother). It also gives a chance to get Muelsyse & Texas Alter, who are semi-limited & re-running on this banner (I only consider collabs to be truly limited). I also like the look of the 5-star, Figurino.

And then the piece de resistance, Thorns Alter. Yeah, he's hot.

So you might be wondering who's story rolls & who's horny rolls

Story = Ulpianus, Vina Victoria, Muelsyse & all the Dungeon Meshi operators.

Horny = Thorns Alter, Figurino & Sand Reckoner

Both = Lappland Alter, Vulpisfoglia, Texas Alter, Hoederer, Ines & Logos

I have no way of getting all of them as I'm not a whale. Luck can get you one 6 star per banner, but I know full well that I'm only getting one of my desired characters from Orienteering 1 & We Mischievious Few. That's why I skipped Chapter 14. I had no guarantee my 6-star was going to be Logos, so why not wait for the stronger chance on Ulpianus.

Well first off I'm so sorry for the wait on this, I had it 99% finished since 2020 but just lost the heart to post it during Covid and my subsequent depression. I really wanted the people who love this series to know that I haven't abandoned it, and the finale is mostly done as well and I'm so excited to bestow Reylo with a GOOD ENDING they deserve.
