Haruka likes to sing at 4 in the morning. Her neighbors hate her. (True. There's nothing more exhilarating than an impromptu idol concert, in my opinion. No word from the neighbors though.)

Hikari is a dog person. (Untrue. She's a cat person.)

Touko will go feral. Watch out. (True. She has gone their fair share of White (actually half-American half-Japanese) Girl Insane.)

If Serena likes someone, she will give them a pretty rock. (Untrue. She prefers giving people she likes roses.)

Mizuki is not good with social cues. (True. Moon especially doesn't get emotional cues. She has a tool to help them with this, though.)

Yuuri needs a night light to sleep. (True. She's afraid of dark places.)

Aoi has a diary that they write in with a glittery gel pen. (Her handwriting isn't all that good, but if it did have a diary, they'd write in said diary with a glittery gel pen.)

Canon Mun Questions!

3: What is something that was never addressed at all in thecanon material that you have independently developed for your muse? 

Lemme just split this into sections for ease of answering XD

Ruri: Her backstory and how she ended up with the Kurosaki family, as well as her view on being fused with Yuzu post-canon. I don’t at all think the girls are dead after the events of canon, they’re still within Yuzu just as much as the boys are inside Yuya, but all of this is my interpretation. We get some backstory with her, but… How tf did she end up with the Kurosaki family to the point even Shun thought she was born into their family and always his blood sister? What was her life like prior to meeting Yuto past those couple of flashbacks? This blog’s canon has her found by an elderly couple who loved her and realized they couldn’t care for her, and gave her to the Kurosakis with the knowledge they could. She’s a happy kid with her brother. She deserved more story than she got.

Rin: The same as Ruri’s in that I gave her a proper backstory and feelings towards the fusing. Rin was so much of a blank slate it’s not fair? We got such little info on her that as far as this blog is concerned, Rin was found by the orphanage she grew up in, but eventually started questioning why she (and the other kids) was there, just to be told her parents passed in an accident. Wondering about the ‘what if’ (What if she’d been there, could she have helped them, did they like her, if she hadn’t been there…) combined with the Tops looking down their nose at her and the others in commons gives rise to her ‘ice queen’ personality, but also results in her questioning everything by the time post-canon comes around. In actual canon she just gets like… Five minutes. Ten tops. Not enough for this girl.

Ray: She has more of a backstory with Zarc here - Namely that she’s been more involved with him for a while prior to him going bonkers. They’ve had a kind of relationship (even if she won’t call it that) and she knows him way more intimately than canon even remotely hints at. As far as I’m concerned, she also still exists within Yuzu, just differently from how the other girls do.

Serena: How she got her Lunalights, her relationship (or lack thereof) with Yuri, and growing up in Academia. We gets hints here and there of things, but they don’t really tell us anything past those hints? Blog canon has decided Serena was found by the professor and raised alongside Yuri, but kept her distance from him because there was something about him she just couldn’t stand. She recieived her Lunalights from a teacher she liked before they never came back from a mission (having been doubting Academia and got carded for it under the guise of another routine mission), and began to hate the memory probes Leo conducted on her - Part of her reason for wanting out as much as she did to prove herself. She was a solider, but if she proved herself, would the probes stop…?

Yuzu: Her Melodious deck is actually a newer archetype (not new-new, just on the newer side of things) and she picked it because she loves music. Her childhood is getting more fleshed out here, with her growing up happy and having interests and music lessons. There’s also a lot I have in mind for post-canon, with her having to learn how to live with three other voices in her head and how she came back to life- I’m still working on how much I’m looking to expand things here but there’s a lot I’m eager to work out with @pendulumrisen!

5:What is an aspect of your muse’s canon material or canonexistence that you never had the opportunity to explore but really want to?

There’s a lot I haven’t touched on for Ray yet, but I honestly want to explore her feelings towards Zarc’s possible revival and her dad’s plans to revive her. Like I mentioned above, this blog’s canon involves Ray and Zarc having had a relationship (of sorts) prior to the split, and part of her reason for stealing the En cards in my portrayal was because she knows him and wanted to try and stop him herself, on top of wanting to save her dad from a probable death if he’d tried. We know from canon she wasn’t pleased by Leo trying to revive her, but… We don’t get too deep into that? We don’t get too deep into a lot of Ray’s character and gdi I want more??

I’d also love to look more into how Ray was as a duelist. We know she’s strong and gave Zarc a run for his money but what was her deck? Did she do tournaments? Was she popular? Why the pink goggles? There’s so much to Ray I’m super eager to explore and I’m taking everyone down with me. XD

Nate - Nate is the friend you always hand the aux cord to. He has impeccable taste, but like, by accident? He doesn’t have any genre preferences, when he likes something, he just likes it, so his music is wide-ranging. When he and Blair were together as teens, he’d always be uploading cds to her itunes library and she’d be like “what the hell is this” (but would also secretly love it). And when Vanessa and Dan (but especially Vanessa) come into his life, his range grows even wider. The artists I associate with Nate a lot are Walk the Moon, Flaming Lips (good weed music), Talking Heads (he unironically loves David Byrne), Motion City Soundtrack, and Vampire Weekend of course.

Serena - She like Nate loves damn near everything. And I think that she also has this uncanny talent of discovering an artist just before they really explode. She loves her ‘00s pop divas, but is also really into indie stuff and the psychedelics and the artists out of Laurel Canyon. If she were alive in the 60s (like she said she wished) she absolutely would have been a deadhead for a while. The artist I associate with her the most is Kesha - I think she identifies a lot with Kesha’s journey from her party-girl persona through her evolution to an artist who works through her trauma and has real grit in her. Rainbow is a cathartic album for S when it comes out. High Road too: “Cowboy Blues” is literally a SVDW character study. And “Father/Daughter Dance”?! I mean. Also add to the list: Britney, Miley, & Lana del Rey

Blair - oh my dear girl fascinates me. She is an arbiter of taste, so I think she works very hard to appear like she only likes “refined” things (using quotes bc nothing is refined) and she canonically loves opera! my girl! She plays Carmen at her sleepovers, and listens to Delibes in the bath - so we can safely assume she prefers the French romantics and Impressionists (she also loves Saint-Saens, Debussy, Ravel, and Poulenc OOH and the Boulanger sisters). Harold is so excited to take her to the opera, so I hc that that’s something they share (I love the idea of Harold being an opera queen).

sidebar - I go absolutely feral for the scene at the end of Age of Dissonance when Carter approaches her at the bar and the Flower Song from Carmen is playing!!! Galaxy-brained. The music editor on the show truly did The Most.

Okay back to Blair: she also loves the divas of the ‘80s. She’s obsessed with Cyndi Lauper! Pat Benatar is her wedding song! (I would add Whitney and Carole King to her faves as well) I think that outwardly she is the Classical & Jazz Standards Girl but the people who know her best are like: B….come on. Nate and Dan bust her on it all the time. I think she loves a little bit of everything, and has a secret love for pop and indie folk, but it takes her a while to fess up to it. The artists I associate with her the most are Chet Baker, Edith Piaf, and the composers I named above. Plus, I think she really really loves La Traviata.

One more for this part: I don’t have much to say about Eric, except that the way he lights up when he talks to Rufus about “Der Holle Rache” leads me to believe that he is a baby opera queen in the making and I love that for him. I could see him taking theory and musicology courses in college and vibing.

Just in case y’all missed it or didn’t look at Clementine’s updated bio, here are a few things you need to know that are a distinct and unique part of my portrayal of her that I DO NOT want anyone stealing! Beware of spoilers and mature themes and post length! If you see anyone stealing these headcanons, please IM me.

-Clementine is an eclectic witch with an intrigue for the occult and all things magical. She takes elements from African Witchcraft, Animism, Art Witchcraft, Astrology Witchcraft, Crystal Witchcraft, Dianic Witchcraft, Divination, Elemental Witchcraft, Kemeticism, Floral Witchcraft, Green Witchcraft, Hearth / Kitchen Witchcraft, Hellenism, Lunar Witchcraft, Musical Witchcraft, Sea / Water Witchcraft and Hoodoo to make her own type of magic.

-Clementine is demibiromantic and demibisexual - most times she has no preference between men and women, but sometimes this fluctuates in preferences, i.e sometimes she prefers the company of males over females and vice versa.

-When she was younger, from ages eight to eleven, she would start to draw vent art, especially after the incident at the St. John’s Dairy - and often times this consisted of rather dark imagery. She stopped at age twelve.

-Clementine is racially ambiguous. She identifies as Black / African-American, but it is possible that she may be descended from other none-African races further back in the family tree, though this is debatable. Regardless, Clementine does not know her true heritage nor is it likely she ever will, and it’s not like she can take a DNA test. However, regardless of belief, it's highly unlikely that Clementine will ever know her true heritage, and as such, she identifies as Black / African-American, even if there is the possibility of her being mixed.

-Clementine identifies as Cisgender Female / Demigirl so thus she uses she/her/ and they/them pronouns. She’s still experimenting with her gender identity and discovering herself. 

-Clementine is very androgynous, especially in her youth during the events of Season Two. Many individuals at Howe’s thought she was a boy.

-In her default verse, Clementine is eighteen, as it is set a few months after the events of The Final Season.

-Clementine is a proud Scorpio - and a Scorpio Queen at that.

-In her default verse, Clementine is leader and Headmistress of Ericson’s Boarding School For Troubled Youth, to which it is later renamed The Enlightenment - Aasim is the one who came up with the name because the previous suggestions that Violet gave out were considered quite informal but Clementine and Violet sometimes call the school the name they chose as a private joke.

-The Enlightenment is not only a settlement in it’s own right, but it also doubles as a sanctuary for the lost and the refugees from the wars outside of their borders and an actual school in the apocalypse. The settlement becomes formidable and renown for it’s neutrality and safe environment, and survivors from more established communities send their children to learn there.

-Clem was raised in a mild Christian household before the outbreak; she was an agnostic during the events of Season Two to Season Three: A New Frontier, and in present time, she is Pantheistic and a believer of the Greek Pantheon but will occasionally pray to and brings offerings to Egyptian gods such as Bastet and Sekhmet. She mostly prays and brings offerings to Hecate, Persephone, Aphrodite, Athena and Artemis, but will also pray to Apollo, Demeter, Dionysus, Hermes, Hestia, Harmonia, Nemesis, the Muses and the Charites. Yet her patron goddess that she prays to most will always be Hecate, the goddess of crossroads, entrance-ways, light, the night, the moon, magic, witchcraft, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, ghosts, sorcery and necromancy. Despite all this, she is very open minded to other religions and faiths, and even those who don’t have a faith.

-She believes in past lives and reincarnation, and that there is life on other planets.

-Honestly, at this point, after seeing humans literally rise from the dead and start devouring people, she’ll most likely believe in anything considered “occult”, “mystical” or “magical”.

-She speaks English (mother tongue), Spanish (intermediate, taught by the Garcia family), French (beginner, self taught, Louis teaches her a bit as well), American Sign Language (in a verse where Louis loses his tongue, self taught, intermediate, post-The Final Season), Latin (self taught, beginner, post-The Final Season), and Korean (beginner, taught by James, post-The Final Season) in default. She hopes she can learn more languages in the future, because of just how essential it is for communication in the apocalypse.

-Clementine has up to the middle of her calf on her left leg amputated by AJ after she was bit by a walker - often uses crutches to move around, but this advances to using a wheelchair or riding on her mare, Epona, when she wants to speed up her pace, and this evolves into a wooden foot and then a prosthetic foot via trade with other settlements.

-What is truly concerning, however, is her mental health: Clementine is psychologically damaged. Depressive disorder, PTSD, Anxiety, abandonment issues, suffers with hallucinatory episodes from time to time, she is an insomniac. Survivor's guilt. Self-loathing tendencies. Sociopathic tendencies. Suicidal tendencies. Possible messiah complex. She has the possibility of becoming an addict to drugs or alcohol if she is not careful and has suffered from substance abuse after her exile from The New Frontier whilst in Prescott at a young age. She could potentially have a "hero complex," with her inherent desire to help those around her, despite being unable to help herself, and having a compulsion to make the world right. She dislikes her reality which is mostly portrayed as polluted, dull and disheartening, full of the dead walking among the living, human trafficking, anarchy and homelessness, and struggles to cope with everyday life but it has improved post-The Final Season. 

-Clementine's lived in borderline poverty and homelessness for most of her young life and she has faced the possibility of prostitution at a very young age in Prescott in order to survive and this obviously leads her to having trust issues. Clementine was for the most part, lonely, and did not have friends or family, as everyone else had either betrayed her or died.

-She has heightened senses. 

-Clementine also has a deep fear of illness. She lived for a very long time in the wilderness with the groups she’s been with, especially in Larry’s case and his frequent heart attacks to the point where it indirectly lead to his own death by Kenny’s hands and then lived on the streets of Prescott and received very minimal medical care, for this, she can be absurdly clean to the point it’s a little jarring. Even a simple cold can make her worry as she had no way to provide for herself if ill, it reminds her of the extreme situations she endured. 

-She suffers in silence as a survivor of sexual abuse - she has never told anyone of her experiences. 

-She's self harmed and attempted suicide on multiple occasions in her past, both at a very young age. She hasn’t done either of these things since she was twelve years old.

-Clem still dreams of Lee and her loved ones and talks to them as if they were still there with her. 

-While Clementine is not completely cured of her depression and her mental illnesses, it is also noticeable that she is no longer suffering from it as much as she was before, and some of her mental health is under her control.

-Clem worked as a Former Supply Runner, Patroller, Hunter, Medic and Fighter for The New Frontier.

-She was a Former Spy, Beggar, Thief, Arsonist and Child Mercenary For Hire and has been a Bar Owner and a Businesswoman of many trades - almost that of a Gang Leader in Prescott - all at a young age.

-Clementine ends up taking Tennessee and Willy under her wing and thinks of them almost the same way as she would AJ - her younger brothers or her sons - it’s complicated, but she loves them very much.

-After the events of The Final Season, Tenn shows up quite often in her room at night because he cannot sleep due to the recent trauma he’s endured and asks her for advice or alternatively, to sing him to sleep. She gladly does so. 

-Clementine’s maternal grandmother was a Voodoo practitioner. Clem can still remember her, but only vaguely. Her grandmother had intended on teaching her granddaughter Voodoo but the outbreak hit before she could.

-Post-The Final Season, Clementine and the group takes care of nine stray cats who she’s named Luna, Hazel, Sol, Serena, Rai, Brynjar, Oreo, Pepper, and Stella. She and AJ take care of a little box turtle that they’ve named Franklin. Three stray, friendly foxes also make their way around the school, a white fox, a black fox, and a red fox, to which Clementine and the group began naming Aurora, Agni and Aenar. Determinantly, Clementine has her own horse that she stole from the Delta and named it Epona after the mare began taking a liking to the girl. Clementine rides her often whenever she feels stressed and they share a great bond.

-Clementine’s full name is Clementine Maria Jasmine Cree, but will use the surname Everett in honor of her protector and adoptive father figure. “Clementine” is “Mercy” in Latin, “Maria” is the Latinized form of “Mary” whom is a respected figure in many religions - notably Christianity and Islam - whom is the mother of the savior of the world; it has several different meanings: “sea of bitterness”, “sea of sorrow”, “rebellion”, “wished-for-child” and “mistress or lady of the sea.”, “Jasmine” is a Persian word meaning “Gift from God” or “God’s Gift” and it is also named after the Jasmine flower, which holds significant cultural, symbolic and religious significance in countries like India, Hawaii, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Syria, Thailand and the United States. It symbolizes motherhood, love, respect, beauty, sensuality, appreciation, good luck, purity, and romance. “Cree” means “Highly Spirited”. “Everett” - a surname that Clementine takes on as a momentum to her mentor, Lee Everett, comes from the Old English word eoforheard which means “brave as a wild boar”.

-She is directly descended from a Voodoo Queen in New Orleans, she also has ancestral ties to the Maroons and many of her ancestors were bokor or caplata, meaning male and female Vodou witches. Many of her recent ancestors were skilled in music. Her relations tie back to Ancient Egypt and other great African empires, many of them were explorers, travelers and sailors, whilst others were horsemen and feared archers and warriors. Clementine has no knowledge of any of this, nor is it likely she ever will discover this revelation.

-Post-The Final Season, Clementine lets her hair grow out a little longer. She lets her hair loose, especially when the colder seasons pass through as it covers her neck and just past her shoulderblades. When styling her hair, she often chooses protective styles in traditional African styles such as Afro Puffs, Bantu Knots, braids, and cornrows.

-As an eclectic witch, she likes using glyphs, sigils, runes, colored candles, metals, herbs, oils, crystals, special stones, rocks, seashells, animal skulls, flowers and plants to use in her spells and to decorate her room. She has a grimoire that she write her past in, the history of magic and how she initiated, an appendix of crystals, herbs, plants and trees, spells, ingredients, prayers, incantations, rituals, holidays, zodiacs, planets and celestial bodies, gods/goddesses/deities, their powers and how to worship them, the planes of existence, animals, mythical creatures, demonology, dragonlore, necromancy, the dark arts, books to use as references, colors, altars, recipes while cooking / baking in spells, magical objects, spiritualism, mythologies of several cultures around the world, symbols, sigils, the phases of the moon, flower language from the Victorian Era and fan language. Luckily, the school is quite large and the library is being rebuilt and books are generously donated by other settlements through trade. Clementine’s knowledge skyrockets in adulthood, quite impressive for a girl who had once been in first grade.

-In the colder seasons, such as autumn and winter, she tends to wear more to clothing with furs on and inside them if she manages to acquire them. Some of the outfits she wears consists of her own homemade outfits of animal furs she had skinned herself. Clementine wears an Omega necklace that Louis gives her, symbolizing the end of something. In current plots, she wears a opal crystal pendant necklace around her neck, hanging down to about her chest as a gift from The Commonwealth; it’s her birthstone and she believes it could grant her luck among other things. She often makes her friends and family fur cloaks to keep them warm.

-She begins taking an intrigue in playing musical instruments, notably the piano, but has started playing the flute, the violin and the harp. Clem is mostly focused on learning her piano lessons as of now, though.

Why thank you, you’re such a wonderful soul. I have all the time in the world she says to disguise the fact that her life has turned into naught but trash for this game, as if she’s not either answering headcanons or writing fic I will do my best to fulfill this request, post-haste. 

Let’s see.

I love the idea of all the girls just eventually growing into besties. There’s a horribly heartbreaking party chat of Jade’s just before you go into Arboria in Act II where she’s super excited to see Veronica again and since we don’t really see Serena, Jade, and Veronica interact much so I loved that one, you know, until it broke my soul to bits.

Anyway, they’re all three ride or die buds and you can try to pry that one from my cold, dead hands. Veronica and Jade especially - you just know they make fun of all these dumb boys they run around with. And as Jade’s grown up with just Rab as company for years, I think she’s got to be over the moon about not only having friends somewhere in the vicinity of her own age but other girls to boot. 

All I have to say for Rab and Erik: @flutiebear ’s Book Learning. Literally nothing I come up with could be better than the conversation those two have, combined with precious Erik’s daddy issues. It’s perfection. 

I have to mention my love for Veronica and Erik, too - I just adore how they antagonize each other, and I think they grow into a sibling type of love. I think Veronica reminds Erik of Mia, which might hurt sometimes at first, but they’ve got this…just, subtle friendship and loyalty thing going a little later? Maybe it’s just me, but I’m obsessed with these two as friends. I mean - after Serena of course - Erik arguably has the most emotional response to Veronica’s death, which just…hits me, man. That little ‘no’ and tree punch eviscerates me every time. They love each other and both would rather die than admit it, and those are the kinda friendships I am trash for. 

As for Henny-Wenny, we’ve got Jade, who Hendrik probably has no clue how to handle when they first find her in Act II - I mean he remembers playing with her when she was a kid and now all of a sudden she’s got legs that go on for miles and kicks people’s lights out without breaking a sweat and he’s just seen way too much not enough of her cleavage, not to mention he feels guilty about how he treated her when he was Evil Hendrik in Act I - so I love the idea of Hendrik being a little terrified of Jade at first. But then obviously he loves her so 

So I think Hendrik gravitates towards Rab and Serena more than anyone else, aside from the Luminary, of course. He knows Lord Robert, and Rab is easy to chat with. They come from the same world of Kingdoms and Laws and such, and they share an interest in *ahem* reading material. Serena is a calming presence and seems to have more sense than some of the rest. He might feel a bit awkward around her after they make it to Arboria, though - I imagine Hendrik’s got some guilt about the role he played in the events at Yggdrasil, and he’s too moral and upstanding to not feel horrible for Veronica’s death. 

He and Erik give each other Intimidating Stares over the campfires until they play that only mildly antagonistic game of Go-Fish in a snowstorm and come to a gentleman’s agreement to accept the other’s existence. 

Sylvando is everyone’s mother. Is that even a headcanon, though?

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ASPECTS OF YOUR CURRENT MUSE: Even when she’s scared she will put her life on the line to protect others. She doesn’t take disrespect from anyone, even if they’re a giant who eats worlds (ie Galactus) or dear friends. She’ll stand up for herself and put them in their place if their stepping out of line is going to impact others negatively. Alison is also such a driven person and makes me want to do better in my own personal life. She cares deeply for others and still manages to make sure her own needs are taken care of too by pursuing her passions.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN  IT  COMES  TO WRITING: My partners. The people I’ve made great connections with through this forum. When we share inspo posts back and forth along with rambling headcanons. RP quick dialogue and scenes in dms. And then still get to talk about life outside rp. The struggles we face everyday and still manage to encourage each other to keep pushing through it. Those relationships inspire me to write because anytime I read messages or posts from them I get a wonderful shot of dopamine and it makes me want to do something for them that may repay the favor.

alright i think this is about like, the playable characters of pokemon and their personalities? but if not please feel free to clarify with another ask and i’ll be happy to do it again  ( ^o^ ) - mod hau!

Main Character Headcanons

((the characters won’t be separated by gender, bc for the most part i interpret them the same way if they are in the same game, but there may b some rule breakers + read more bc wowie this is long!!))

Red/Leaf

- these are the quiet protag, very thoughtful and somewhat reclusive, and a lot of that has to do with their rival (Green/Blue/Gary) being such a show off and watching him lose face every time they wipe the floor with him, and they don’t want to end up being the same level of asshole if/when they get shown up

- they love nature, and spend a lot of time in pallet town just. reflecting. on themselves, their place in the world, the world. just everything. 

- the quiet philosopher, but also a large case of being the world’s biggest overthinker. gets caught up in the details a lot about things and fails to be understand the ‘big picture’ a lot of times

- needs to get out of their own head for a bit to get to know the world in an immediate relation versus the detached expression they feel before they start their pokemon journey

Ethan/Lyra

- childhood best friends, and are the consistently asked if they’re dating or smthn so they both have really snarky answers after years of strangers asking them. fan favorites are: ‘oh god, you can see them too?? i think they’re haunting me’ or ‘he’s a stalker i swear please call the officer jenny’s as fast as you can’ - its a tie

- the protagonist (the played character) is constantly jealous of the rival when they get the marill, and it kind of drives the protag away from their rival before the game starts. after, for some reason they always are anxious and compare their own bond with their pokemon to the rival and their marill (even when they have a fucking lugia or whatever)it’s a big source of conflict in their friendship and one of the protag’s biggest insecurities

- hg/ss feels but, i like to think the protag’s favorite time of day is the sunset just outside of goldenrod city and likes to sit near the edge of the water while listening to the cheesy radio dramas, and calls their family and friends up to let them know they’re doing alright (they spend the most time talking with their rival bc i think, even platonically, they depend on each other for support and love to spend hours talking)

- almost best friends who still have time to mature and work their stuff out, but until their journey begins things are just kind of weird

Brendan/May

- i’m gonna say this, i really did think that brendan’s hat was his hair until like last year, full naruto kakashi hair and shit. the kakashi of 11 y/o’s and pokemon. god what an awful hat.

- their favorite town is a constant toss up between lavaridge and slateport. they love the warmth that seems to just radiate from everywhere in lavaridge, but they also love the ocean breeze and the museum in slateport. once they can use fly, they weep tears of joy. the feeling and smells they get from those two towns make their chest constrict in such a strange and good way, they want the feeling to never end.

- loves the first evolution/cutest stage of evolution of all their pokemon. could care less that the second and third evolutions are stronger and have better moves, they love the cute stuff

- sucks at cooking pokeblocks, they always burn them and end up using up most of their battle winnings on just buying their party their favorite pokeblocks for a good battle or training day. 

- nerds who are very obsessed with capturing all these new feelings on their journey and how light they feel all of a sudden

Lucas/Dawn

- Research nerds all the way, these kids love learning and are obsessed with pokemon research and the protag is super jealous of professor rowan’s assistant bc lbr that’s such a dream job for these little brainiacs 

- I really associate twilight/evening with this game because that’s just when i always played it but i think that these two would love it and like really their color scheme and outfits just really go with it - they live for the aesthetic

- they love watching those little ‘tv’ segments about pokemon moves/abilities/etc. and probably watch nothing but the equivalent of pokemon documentaries anyway (this is basically confirmed i mean, come on lol, the game starts with a documentary on the red gyarados y’all)

- their favorite seasons are fall and winter, but they love early spring after they visit floaroma town and see all those flowers - and they develop a taste for honey too after visiting

- crisp kids you would find in a library or watching the equivalent of animal planet, and they are just so curious about the world around them that they see their journey as their first big foray into scientific research (they probably cried when they got their pokedex)

Hilbert/Hilda

- they’re eternally lost without their best friends, cheren and bianca

- like really, i’d like to say they are all bad ass and stoic, but really their main goal is to just catch back up with their friends and hang out like they did before they go their pokemon and started this big old journey

- has a sinking feeling a lot of times that this journey was the end of something rather than a beginning, and tries to fill the void with pokemon when they can’t call their friends on the x-transceiver

- has…confused feelings about n. because, after spending so much time trying to catch up to their friends, they thought they could slow down and spend some time with this new fast friend who seemed to want to slow down too. it was a confusing friendship but, they still call it a friendship despite everything.

- comes home after the journey feeling not as content as they were before. not like they’re missing something because of the journey, but more like they found out they were missing out on something all along - probably goes on a few more journeys to find it before they call it quits

Nate/Rosa

- Gaymer kids

- for real tho, these kids were shut ins who only really went out to get new videogames/junkfood when their mom wasn’t forcing them to eat healthy or at least not play videogames for 18 uninterrupted hours

- they don’t do well with the grime of being outdoors too well, but they love visiting the other cities - they love the night/early evening when the whole place just lights up, and they really love just staring at it or taking pictures for social media

- have all the cool games on their phone, but along with emergency provisions (chewy granola bars and fruit) and first aid (hello kitty bandaids with a tube of neosporin) the rest of their bag is electronics: 4 different types of portable consoles, a digital camera, a laptop, a tablet, an mp3 player, and all their accompanying charging cords

- voted most likely to own a midi fighter

Calem/Serena

- the mom friend

- hates their nickname that their friends use but, they don’t like the idea of not having one so they will for ever be known as that embarrassing title they gave themselves when they were fifteen 

- straight a student, but doesn’t even try and doesn’t know why their friends get so frustrated around finals but offers help anyway, and doesn’t understand why it just makes everyone more frustrated

- its difficult when a lot of their friends compete with them, like the rival, and it can strain the relationship but their friends always have their back and the protag always has their and having a unstoppable force on your side isn’t always a bad thing

Sun/Moon

- sweet angel babies who deserve the world

- but seriously, these kids go through so much and are the kind of kids who can’t stop smiling - even when it would be appropriate to stop grinning like a fool 

- that’s part of the appeal, they’re like a magnet and a binding force of sorts, people can’t help but be drawn to this kid and somehow the people this kid brings together always manage to be just the kind of people the others need to be better people/heal

- so many close friends that they just call family, it’s confusing to an outsider but this kid really does love all their friends like family and practically all of the islands are in this kid’s found family (holidays are always so hectic tho since they moved to the islands lol)

In Honour of Pokemon Day

In honor of #PokemonDay , I wanted to share some of my most valuable & retro Pokemon possessions! I mean, I have been a fan of this series since it first aired on TV since 1997 (which at that time, I was 9 years old... Shit, now you know how old I am :P ) Pokemon have evolved through so many generations, and I’m still a fan of this series on my end, well, maybe not so much on some parts, I may not follow through all the episodes, like Hoenn & Sun and Moon, but when it comes to Pokemon (in the overall), I’m a fan and I don’t think this will ever change for me.

Most of these goodies/merchandizes, I have collected through the years (here where I live), and in Japan (when I visited, been there twice and the recent one was last year in November 2016).

I saw people over on Tumblr have been contributing their share/story, I thought I will too; because it seems fun = w = Anyways, here’s mines!

Movies:

As you can see I’ve got the VHS to Pokemon First Movie & Pokemon Mewtwo Returns, even though we don’t use VCR now, but it just makes it more valuable dating back to my time (when I was a kid). I still have a VCR on my end, and I’m quite nostalgic to watch the First Movie & Second Movie again, because I really love Mewtwo in there; that’s the ONLY Mewtwo for me.

DVDS:

Among the Series itself, my most favourite is XY/XYZ, so I’m definitely planning to collect all the DVD once it’s out, to you know support this region! Even though I have the Japanese Dub downloaded and actually prefer the Japanese Dub better. I hope they will have the DVD release to the ‘Mega Evolution Act’ as well because I really love Alain on my end! <3 Aside from XY/XYZ, my second favourite anime region is Sinnoh! <3 I’m not all fond of Hoenn on my end and as for Black/White (Unova), I only to really start liking this series after the Unova League where N joins the party! Unova is a region I wanted to watch/like but in the overall, it just never did it for me as a ‘season overall’. 

Pokemon Monopoly (left)

My friend got this for me for my Birthday, and even though I absolutely SUCK at the game, but I really did appreciate this gift on my end! Since it’s on Pokemon! And funny thing was, on the day of my Birthday. I actually wanted to get this game on my end (at a Toys store) but I couldn’t find it, and when my friend bring this over to my house at night time (since she got work), I was actually ecstatic (talk about she reading my mind or something) <3

Figurines:

I got this in Tokyo when I visited the first and second time, though I bought N & Reshiram/Zekrom at different times.

^ I have to say that I have come to really love Ash & Greninja’s story in XY/XYZ and it’s developments, and with that in mind, you can bet I was really happy (ecstatic actually) to find all the Froakie Evolution, not to mention Ash Greninja figurine, I didn’t care how much it cost, I just know I really have to have it in my possession, and when I did, now sitting inside my glass-stand, I’m just in love with it. On my end, I just love when a Pokemon bond with Ash, and looking back to how Ash caught a Froakie at the beginning of XY, they both have really come a long way. I mean, I love Ash/Pikachu, Ash/Chimchar(to Infernape) ; Ash/Charizard etc etc, but Ash/Greninja and it’s bond to go to a new form just make me love them to a whole new level and it’s really special you know. I truly miss this Pokemon on my end, so I really hope he will one day return to Ash since I see it as a temporary good-bye... (He better!)

Lucario has always been a favourite Pokemon of mines, and I actually rank this Pokemon really high on my list. I first came to really love this Pokemon through the Movie: ‘Lucario & the Mystery of Mew’; because this Pokemon gives me a sense of righteous and responsibility (the same feeling I get from Ash’s Greninja btw) and I just love those type of Pokemon (/personality). And, I actually have a headcanon on my end here: http://kikotsukino.tumblr.com/post/149765676413/headcanon about Ash’s and his relations to his past ever since I saw that movie on my end.

The third one (pic of Mega Lucario) ^ actually comes in pieces (in a box) where I have to build them on my end, got it while I visited Japan for the first time  at the Pokemon Centre, which is also the same with putting the pieces together for Charizard X:

^ Kinda similar to building your own Gundam where you put the stickers while you’re doing it, and yup! Just got to put Alain next to Charizard X since that belong to him (in the anime!) <3 I got that through a 300 yen twisting machine, where you know, put 3 x 100 yen into the machine, and you twist, and a random ball comes out, I was actually really glad/lucky that my first 3 shot, I got the characters I wanted being ‘Ash and Serena’:

^ Here’s some Ash x Serena (Armour Shipping) moments for you lol (and yes, I ship these two on my end as well ^^) Even though I didn’t place these two next to each other in my glass stand (only did it for that photo ^) because I wanted Ash to be next to Greninja/Ash Greninja (for my second set (lol) in my glass stand)

The other remaining characters in that machine was ‘Citron/Clemont’ and Eureka/Bonnie.

I really wish Fairy Tail has one as well, because I wanted to get a Jellal Figure so badly, not because I love Jellal but because I also want to put it next to my mini Erza figurine which I already got (Jerza!).

Even though Charizard Y is so underrated in the anime (poor thing)! :( But I do really love this Pokemon on my end, and I like to imagine in an alternate universe/world, Ash have his own Mega Evolution Pokemon being Charizard Y (hence why I place it next to Ash there), because it just seems so right, you know! Even though I’m not salty he couldn’t get a Mega Evolution in the canon-’verse’, because I reckon Ash Greninja is ‘one of a kind’ so it makes it even more special! <3

Mega Rayquaza, another favourite Pokemon of mines, but I regret not buying it in the Pokemon Centre since it works out cheaper than where I got it from (i.e. second hand figure store in Akihabara ;_; ) 

^ Just an idea to how I placed my Froakie -> Ash Greninja evolution with Mini-Ash at the back in my glass-stand. Before photo-shot, I only took it out to focus on that frame (clearer). Yes, the mini Ash-Greninja (at the back) on top of a noodle cup, I got that one for free <3 Too many Ash-Greninja, but hey! I just love this Pokemon too goddamn much, so I am happy!

Plushies:

Here are some of my Plushies that I’ve collected while in Japan & in here where I live:

They are actually sitting on my shelf in my room. I don’t think I can fit anymore on it because it’s overly-crowded (lol), but I do love collecting these, and just got to have all the Eeveelutions on my end! Was super happy to be able to get a Ash-Greninja & Ash Plushie <3 as well as Noibat!! <3 since that baby bat is too precious and cute!!

Books:

Which contains Strategy Guide to the games I’ve been following throughout the years. And also got some comics on my end because it’s fun to read and I love the XY one since that’s my favourite region! The B/W one is actually my birthday present from a friend of mines this year!

Console Games:

I have been following on these games since, forever! Since.... Yellow version first came out. Preference-wise, I’m more of a Pokemon Red > Pokemon Blue considering I love Charizard on my end but I didn’t get it because my brother got that version, and he didn’t want me to get the same version as him (don’t know why I let that got to me...) -.- That’s also the reason I didn’t get Fire Red T_T (and ended up with Leaf Green), even though I chose Charmander as my starter because that’s my favourite Kanto starter Pokemon! It also sucks to know that the version I always end up getting only allow me to catch a Vulpix but not Growlithe (even though I love Vulpix a great deal, but I also would want to own a Growlithe on my end too...lol). 

Others: 

Charmander & Charizard Nano-Blocks:

^ This actually took me a while to build them, but in the end, I’ve accomplished and I love that ‘feel’ of ‘accomplishment’ there :) 

^ I got this from a twist-machine where I put yen in (300 yen) to get a random Poke-ball, where it will project a Pokemon out when you close off the light, and I was aiming to get an Ultra-ball since that is the one that is Ash-Greninja and I was lucky that my first try was the one I wanted to get <3

^ This one is actually really adorable, where you put coins on top of the yellow button, and Pikachu will come out and grab the coin into the box, here’s a video to see how the scene plays out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57EXxx4Kxsk . On my end, I got this one during my second visit to Tokyo, it’s actually quite expensive, but I got it anyways because when it comes to things I love, I just have to have it xD. 

^ Both Ash Greninja and Charizard X are rubber figure that you can put water in; and it squirts water out. Greninja through it’s hands, Charizard through the Pokeball (ofcourse he can’t use any water attack xP (lol) so it has to be through something else xD). I got this for 300 yen through a mystery box. Have to try a few attempts, before I can get the one I wanted. The Moon badge, I got (as you might be aware) through pre-ordering Pokemon Moon on my end. 

Bonus:

^ I got this one at the Pokemon Centre at Sunshine City (even though I was about to say Sunnyshore City....AGAIN* (always does that on my end)). It’s a soundtrack + DVD of the Ash Greninja AMV along with the XY music. I bought it because I love the cover and because I get to have a free ‘Ash Greninja’ card... I think you’re actually tired of me with all the ‘Ash Greninja’ stuff by now, but yeah, that’s the extent of how much I love this Pokemon. I listened to the music, and the song is just so nostalgic... I want to watch this series again!!

Anyways, that’s all the Pokemon possession I have on my end, and considering I’m a Pokemon fan, and it actually seems fun with how other people have been posting there’s to contribute & share with everyone, I thought I’ll do that on my end too! <3

Happy (Belated) Pokemon Day!! The ironic thing for me is, considering I first started this series when I was 9 years old, Ash being older than me, it feels like I’m actually older than him now because time in Pokemon just doesn’t age..... (LOL!) But I’ll always love Ash on my end (not so much the art-design to him in Sun & Moon), but as long as Ash is still Ash (personality-wise), then he’s still the same Ash I’ve grown to like (and love in XY/XYZ + Sinnoh). Unpopular opinion: The characterization on her is not just 2d bc of her position but bc the writers have been real lazy in defining her as an individual, there’s really nothing about her separate from Shun, Yuto, or her bracelet girl status that is engaging, and while Rin is far from the best written, it frustrates me that they managed to do her pretty decently for her lack of screen time and just didn’t really try as much with Ruri, like with Rin, even though she is heavily linked with Yugo, I feel like I understand the type of person she is and what her relationship is like, with Ruri I couldn’t tell you a single personality trait that I didn’t have to infer from the text besides being pretty and believing in smiles, compare their appearances in 116, Rin gets to show off more personal traits (even if they are a bit cliche) and show how hard the kidnapping has been on her, Ruri just kinda says like ‘oh’ and smiles, sure she might not have been as close to Kaito but it’s so underwhelming and boring and uggggggggggggghhh,  even without all the hyping up, it’s disappointing and she deserved better

Favorite relationship: If I cheat and go by fanon, then Dennis and Ruri blow everything out of the  water, while again it’s defining her a lot by her connection to a male character, it gives her a chance to have an independent backstory from the rest, a chance at independent thoughts and emotions from the xyz trio, plus the angst is just so beautiful

In canon, her friendship with Sayaka is the cutest even if a bit shallow

Favorite headcanon: Again she ends up pretty bitter and frustrated about the kidnapping and internalizes all that in a pretty unhealthy way
