Doodles from my textbook part 1✨
Introducingg Beef and Papa Haydn😻😻😻✨✨✨
1st image : left is old Beethoven and the right side is young Beethoven (draw his hair from memory lol)
2nd image : a reference of an article that Beethoven enjoyed eating fish other than Mac and cheese 🧀 :D
3rd image : Beethoven threw the beef stew is actually a reference from an article that he threw the stew to the waiter it was bc the waiter gave him the wrong order (what a child..😓). Some said that the waiter actually gave him the correct order but Beethoven thought it was wrong 🗿. Then we have Papa Haydn vibing in his own musical world while his student, Beethoven is screams in anger-

i realised that on my last reblog i forgot some things! also i was forced to omit a few things bc i ran out of tag space oops ("nobody cares, lamorna" - shut up i need to document this correctly)
so let's explain:
saw belinda lang in present laughter (also saw serena evans in that!! and david from cold feet robert bathurst, but he's less important to me); the reluctant debutante (also saw jane asher in it!!); and single spies
old times: met kristin scott thomas, saw lia williams + rufus sewell
the audience: met helen mirren + haydn gwynne (this was also the day when i chased jenny agutter accidentally, and i saw anne reid + stephen tompkinson going through the stage door)
passion play: met sam bond, zoe wanamaker, and lyndsey marshal (she wasn't in the play, she was just there with zoe), saw owen teale
the weir: saw dervla kirwan, met ardal o'hanlon + brian cox
private lives: met anna chancellor
the importance of being earnest: met cherie lunghi + nigel havers
relatively speaking (i went to an ayckbourn play for felicity. this is true love and dedication) met felicity kendal
the national theatre masterclasses: went to penelope wilton + david hare's one, saw them (saw penelope out front beforehand!!), met penelope afterwards
also went to amelia bullmore's masterclass, along w lots of my lovely mutuals 💖; we all met her and talked to her at length
kiss me, kate: saw hannah waddingham
guys and dolls: saw sophie thompson, and phyllida law (her + emma's mother) was in the audience
a damsel in distress: saw summer strallen
mrs. pat: saw penelope keith
oklahoma!: saw josie lawrence (also saw her + paul merton at the comedy store one time)
me and my girl: saw caroline quentin, also matt lucas
fleetwood mac: i've seen them live twice, once with chris mcvie
once there was an event that a choir my mum + i used to be in were invited to sing at, and a lot of the other performers / organisers were famous people: julie graham was one of the organisers, so i saw her, alison moyet was performing (i'd already been to one of her concerts, but not met her yet), so i met her then (she hugged me!!!!) and emma kennedy was there bc she and alf are best friends so i stood near her awkwardly; and caitlin moran was also a speaker so i saw her (backstage and onstage) too; and my mum spoke to her
my mum once won tickets to see a bbc show being filmed, and it happened to be upstart crow (you don't choose what you see, you just get allocated something by the bbc people), so we were on set with david mitchell, liza tarbuck, gemma whelan
i've told the story of being caught in the fire w the new tricks actors + sarah beeny SO many times, but i will tell it again if anyone else wants to hear it
comedians/-ennes i've seen live: ed byrne (twice), alan davies, omid djalili, rich hall (i wasn't that keen on seeing omid or rich but my mum made us all go with her and they were better than i'd expected them to be), zoe lyons, tim vine
and finally: i live in the same town as dave benson phillips (of get your own back, british blue's clues, various other children's television), and he used to be (might still be, for all i know) the next door neighbour of a family friend, so i met him at a party at their house once as a child

I know, that the world's obssession over Eddie Munson and basically Joseph Quinn is getting out of hand and it became kind of creepy and just ew sometimes, but I really wanted to share my cliché idea with you, so enjoy loves :3
✨Description✨
FLUFFY FLUFF, bit of angst, NOT a SMUT, OC is 2 years younger, hope that's not a problem
September of 1982
Terry sighed. Fingers on her left hand were dirty and cramping, back being sweaty and her right hand tired. Sitting in one place for two and a half hour and memorizing such a difficult piece... On the weekend, when having time off as a student, she doesn't want to practice the instrument just because of her dumb teacher's ambitions. But hey, it is what it is. She got used to it. After all, she will graduate Hawkins High and then leave. Away from Hawkins. Out of the town that is blatantly getting on her nerves, even though she has a family here.
Well, family... Just an older brother. In fact, she sometimes felt that if she had already left, her brother would at least not have to worry so much and could enjoy himself. At least a little. After all, taking care of a teenager is not a pleasure, especiallx when you are completely on your own. Maybe that was one of the reasons why she wanted to leave.
And why should she stay here? She doesn't talk to anyone here since she often misses classes because of competitions, anyway. And from what she heard, other classmates consider classical music as lame and ‘only for reeaally old people’.
Terry loved all the artists other people listen to – such as Madonna, Queen, Kiss, David Bowie – there’s so many. She enjoyed a lot of songs from them – and to be quite honest, she loved it – especially Eurythmics and Depeche Mode.
Her forced arsenal consisted of Schubert, Haydn, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky... For the others, they were some long dead fossils, who had written stuff for people too long ago for it to be relevant now.
Terry played the cello – too many people mistook this musical instrument for a guitar, even though the case was so large, that if she put it on her back, it looked like a cello on tiny feet from behind. Terry was relatively small in figure – if only she had the rest of the meat somewhere else – but the feminine curves were almost unnoticeable – her brother made fun of her for looking like Oliver Twist.
Hawkins High was... let’s say specific – full of individuals that one should better avoid. And since all her friends (there were only two) from middle school went away for higher artistic education to prestigious private schools and conservatories, for which she apparently “was not talented enough”, so she had to befriend someone new. And let’s be honest – no one was as bad with new people as she was. There were jocks, pretty girls, smokers, metalheads, skaters and nerds.
Terry never fully understood the word nerd. But if that meant what she anyhow learned, Hawkins High was full of nerds — and she was one of them.
............................................................................................................................
Lunches at school were so stressful… Finding a free table was an unmanageable task, because there was always someone who was faster and took the table for his group. Terry often sat in chairs by the wall – with lunch on her lap. She was used to her brother's cooking — and let's be honest, that guy could cook Mac and Cheese, Spaghetti, or oven-readies — Terry wasn't that demanding on food. But the school kitchen is on a completely different level. Even prisoners are said to have better food than kids in US high schools.
There was pizza for lunch that day... Again. Terry would never have expected something like pizza to be so annoying. The crust was like a sponge and the rest was stale, old vegetables that no longer resembled vegetables in taste or looks. The only thing that was edible was a scoop of corn. She began to think that she would just start going home for lunch, to see her brother. He was at home all the time and only disappeared somewhere on weekends.
Best part of all this mess was the chocolate milk. Terry realized how much chemicals was in there, but as a person obsessed with chocolate... let's say she didn't despise it.
That day was Monday. On Monday there was Spanish after lunch, and she wasn’t signed up, so she usually went home to practice. Today, however, she exceptionally did not want to. With a Silmarillion in her backpack, she went to find an empty classroom where she could read. Music room – class happenning, gym – training of Tigers, theatre room – opened and empty – eureka.
Terry was in the theatre room for the first time. She turned on the lights. Colorful spotlights lit up everywhere and not a single normal light bulb – interesting choive of design,
She found the brightest spot, sat down and opened the book.
…And Aulë made the Dwarves even as they still are, because the forms of the Children who were to come were unclear to his mind, and because the power of Melkor was yet over the Earth; and he wished therefore that they should be strong and unyielding. But fearing that the other Valar might blame his work, he wrought in secret: and he made first the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves in a hall under the mountains in Middle-earth…
She heard a door squeak.
“Hello? Is anyone here?“
Someone came in. Terry quickly slapped a bookmark in and collected her other belongings , with her book still in her right hand.
“Yeah, I'll just pack up and go, I'm sorry.“
She didn't want to talk to whoever it was, so with her gaze fixated on the floor, she took off towards the door. Maybe it was the poor lighting near the exit, or her feeling of embarrassment, but she bumped into that person with quite a force. If you accelerate to a certain pace and want to get out of the room as quickly as possible, if you come across, the force of the impact is even greater. She only heard a little 'mph', as she lost her balance for a second and slowly descended to the floor into a pile of folders and boxes, that this person accidently dropped.
“H-Hey, you alright?”, the person
“I am terribly sorry, I didn't mean to,“ she muttered as her gaze was still locked on the floor.
“Hey, it's okay, I mean, you are the one who fell, um... May I ask, what were you doing here?“
Hell... A conversation.
She forced herself to look up and she felt like she is gonna throw up – not of embarasment, just out of the surprise, how it was all so sudden. For a moment she did not see the stranger’s face, as the light by the entrance was right behind them, but after few seconds, the picture stopped being blurry. Damaged locks of hair and yellow and red lights created a halo around his head as his gaze darkened under the shadows of the room.
It was Edward, Eddie, or Munson, as many people around school called him, she suspected that that was his last name – a significant individual from 11th Grade who was exaggeratedly called a “Freak”, especially among the basketball duds. Terry only knew, that he liked to play guitar and board games with his friends or something. She had seen him only at the school hallways, as he wandered around annoyed to his class, so she preferred not to create any assumptions in her head.
“U-um.“
He tilted his head slightly, while looking around.
“Are part of the theater club?“
Terry’s eyes widened.
“N-no! I was just... reading.“
She avoided him with her gaze again. But she could still feel his look on her. She picked herself up, grabbed a book and looked at him, smiling awkwardly.
“Mhm, reading… cool, cool, cool.“
He let out a sigh.
She looked at him once again and gave him a quick smile.
“Yeah, well, anyways, have a nice day,’ she turned on her heel and she headed for the door “bye.“
“Yup… bye.“
As she slammed the door, she could swear she heard a little chuckle. She shook her head and went to another class.

I love this prompt, anon! Thank you for sending it to me.

Who's Gonna Drive You Home Tonight?
“Mulder, I cannot listen to another country song,” Scully says with a sigh. She’s been searching for a station that plays something - anything -  else but so far, no luck. They’re in the middle of nowhere and their choices are limited. It’s country or no music at all.
“Um, there’s, in my Walkman, there’s a tape. Should be better than country.” He throws her a quick grin. “Let’s stop for a moment. I need to stretch my legs anyway.”
While Mulder walks up and down the deserted road, cracking sunflower seeds and jokes, Scully rummages through his bag in search of his Walkman. She finds it and takes out the tape. There’s a faded sticker on it but she can’t make out the words. She glances at Mulder, smiling absent-mindedly. By now, she’s gotten used to him and his antics. Who else does push-ups in the middle of the road? She turns the tape in her hands, wonders what’s on there. What kind of music does Fox Mulder listen to? She’ll find out in a few minutes.
“Legs are stretched. You ready to keep going?” He spits another sunflower seed shell out of his mouth and she nods.
Mulder starts the car and Scully puts in the tape. She immediately recognizes the song.
“Elvis, Mulder?” She asks, smiling at him.
He shrugs, his cheeks a sweet shade of bubblegum pink.
“I like it,” she says, not taking her eyes off him.
“I promised you it’s better than country music. Next time you can bring a tape if you want.” He quickly looks over at her to gauge her reaction.
“I’d like that.”
And that’s how it begins.
On their next out-of-town case, Scully brings her own beat-up cassette. Mulder grins at her and closes his eyes in appreciation as the first strains of Haydn’s Cello Concert No. 1 fill the car.
“I figured you’d like classical music, Scully.”
“Disappointed?” she asks.
He shakes his head. “Not at all. If Bach or Beethoven are on your tape, Scully…” he winks at her.
She blushes, remembering the last time he said something similar. His Iced Tea turned out to be Root Beer, but this time, they might just get lucky because she knows exactly what’s on this tape.
“Just wait and listen,” she says, composing herself. She can’t quite suppress her grin, though, and folds her hands in her lap, excited to see Mulder’s face once Beethoven comes on.
They take turns bringing music on cases, getting to know each other in this whole new way. Before, Scully dreaded the long monotonous journeys in their latest rental car. Now, she looks forward to them. Mulder is a fan of Depeche Mode and Elton John. The latter one makes her laugh until he explains that his roommate introduced him to the music in Oxford.
“I, um, tried to serenade a crush with ‘Your Song’ once.”
“Please tell me it wasn’t Phoebe.”
He chuckles. “No. Her name was Alessandra. But as it turned out, I wasn’t singing under her window.”
“Whose was it?” She’s grinning at him.
“My 63-year-old professor.”
Laughter bubbles out of Scully. She pats his thigh in sympathy. “I’m sorry. Did she like it?”
“He,” Mulder emphasizes, “wasn’t very impressed.”
“Oh Mulder,” Scully says, unable to keep her laughter at bay. “I’m so sorry. Did Alessandra ever get to hear you sing?”
“No, that was the end of my singing career.”
The words fall out of her mouth before she can stop them. “Sing for me?” They share a look and finally, Mulder nods.
“It’s a little bit funny,” he starts and Scully watches him, mesmerized. Who knew, she thinks. Who knew.
They’re traveling through the past decade's discography as much as they journey through the US. They listen to Madonna and Michael Jackson, to Fleetwood Mac and ABBA.
“Missy loved them,” Scully says, reminiscing. Her sister made her dress up and called her Dancing Queen. There’s a photo somewhere of the two of them in her mother’s attic. Maybe she’ll look at it one day. One day when the pain of losing her is no longer as raw.
“We can listen to something else.” Mulder's voice is soft, as is his touch on her hand. She shakes her head, not trusting herself to speak.
“It’s good music. Isn’t it?”
“It is. Tell me about Melissa?” He asks and she does. Sometimes, Mulder chuckles, and he provides anecdotes of him and Samantha.
“I wonder what kind of music she would have liked,” Mulder says.
“I think she would have liked ABBA, too.”
“You know what? I think you’re right.”
Two decades later, and they still refuse to country music in the middle of nowhere, USA. Mulder grumbles about the up-to date technology in their rental car while Scully settles in for a long drive.
“Remember when we brought tapes, Scully?” He grins at her. There are no longer tape decks in cars. Or CD decks. There are USB hubs and streaming. One thing, though, has never changed: Mulder’s smile.
“I remember,” she says softly.
“I made us a playlist, but the sound system won’t connect.”
“A playlist?”
He nods. “All your favorites.”
“You remember them.” It’s not a question, not after 25 years together.
There’s a beep and Mulder sighs in relief. “I did it. So what will it be, Scully? Are you in the mood for Dancing Queen? How about some Thriller?”
She looks at him, love spilling over from all the months they were separated. She doesn’t care about music. She’s got him and he’s all she wants. Just as she’s about to tell him so, she has an idea.
“Play Your Song, Mulder.”
And he does.

Mac-Haydn presents The Little Shop of Horrors through August 18. The play opened on Broadway in 1982, but it still engages audience in its science fiction fantasy about what can happen with plants. On opening night before the show, Bob and I interviewed three of the leads. Emily Kron who plays Audrey, Andrew Burton Kelley who plays Seymour Krelborn, and Pat Moran who plays the dentist, Orin…

people put together nhl dream teams all the time based on things like “skill” and “statistics”, well i say enough. put together ur dream team based on looks alone. on vibes 🤌 i say it’s time we put vanity back into sports. objectify men a little bit.
ANON YOU ARE SO RIGHT. PUT VANITY BACK INTO SPORTS AND OBJECTIFY MEN A LITTLE BIT 2021. I AM ALL HERE FOR IT
fuck talent, lets build a team based on prettiness. who’s gonna be on it?
my friends and i think that the forwards should consist of
chris kreider - nate mack - mikko
anders - mat - nils (hes not a RW but we are forcing him to be 🔪)
beau - pld - mathieu joseph (reasoning: they all have massive zucchini energy (because theyre french) and its only right they play on a line together (not my words))
marty - zeeker - andy (it hurt to separate the dilf line but we had to fit josh in here somewhere. sorry cal)
(and we accidentally made a fifth line with jujhar khaira, zack mac, and mathias brome because we apparently cant count)
then the d corps would have roman josi, kris letang, erik johnson, haydn fleury, matt dumba, and jani hakanpaa (plus bowen for the youth factor 😌 (but if this were up to me id just copy & paste the avs d but i was about to get burned at the stake for that))
finally, carey price and laurent brossoit would be in goal
carey will have the C (the rule of the goalie not being allowed to wear it does not apply here) and matt martin and roman josi get the A. we wouldve given marty the C because he is president dilf after all, however carey price is god soooo

'The best party ever': DJ Annie Mac to step down from BBC Radio 1 after 17 years
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Radio host and DJ Annie Mac is to step down from her flagship music show and leave BBC Radio 1 after 17 years at the station.
Mac, 42, made the announcement on Twitter, saying she wants to spend more time with her kids, writing fiction and creating podcasts.
“It’s hard to articulate what this job has meant to me. It started in 2004 with Annie Mac’s Mashup on Thursday evenings,” she said.
“I’m still in awe of the magic of music radio. Of the responsibility of handling these songs that are so powerful, they can stop you in your tracks and make your emotions soar.
“I have never not walked out of the studio feeling lighter and happier than when I walked in.
“Working at Radio 1 has been like being at the best party ever and it is a wonderful feeling to be leaving with a huge smile on my face. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
Mac’s first BBC Radio 1 programme was broadcast on 29 July 2004, having previously voiced jingles on the station and been a producer.
She had her first live set at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee in 2005 and she currently hosts Radio 1’s Future Sounds programme as well as a host of other shows.
Announcing her departure on the station this morning, Mac said: “After 17 wonderful years I have decided it’s time to leave Radio 1.
“This second home has been the thread that has run through nearly my whole adult life.
“I have grown up, fallen in and out of love, moved homes, climbed up the career ladder, got married and become a mother twice over. I have done this alongside you, my listeners, who have done your own versions of the same.
“I will be forever grateful to you all for welcoming me into your days.”
She will leave the BBC on 30 July.
Head of the station Aled Haydn Jones described Mac as “quite simply a legend” and said Clara Amfo will take over as host of Future Sounds from September.
He said former Strictly Come Dancing contestant has “long been one of the most influential voices in the music industry”.
Amfo currently hosts the mid-morning show on BBC Radio 1, which she took over from Fearne Cotton in 2015.
Other changes include Rickie, Melvin and Charlie, who joined the station in 2019, hosting Radio 1’s Live Lounge and Danny Howard, who joined after winning the station’s Superstar DJ talent competition in 2011, taking on Radio 1’s Dance Party.
Diplo, who currently occupies the 11pm to 1am slot on Saturday nights with Diplo and Friends, is also leaving.
