#The Lost Little Caterpillar (2002)

If I was someone you loved/cared about, & I was turned into a worm would you tell me that i was no longer a human?
What a surprising little ask that got me thinkin' 🤔
Thinking of it from the perspective of that loved one, it would be pretty terrifying to be suddenly turned into a worm and being confused to what even is happening to yourself and the world around you. It might help to at least let them be aware of their predicament and possibly help them through it, I don't want them to get hurt or somethin' D:
Also since this is a Stefán Karl fan blog, I'm obligated to link to a cartoon where he voices a worm 🪱

There’s this Icelandic animated short film from 2002 called The Lost Little Caterpillar and I think everyone should watch it despite the strange but unique CGI animation. It’s about a little Caterpillar who journeys through the garden trying to discover who she is and what it means to be beautiful. The caterpillar looks like some kind of little green goblin or little green garden elf lurking in the trees and grass. Throughout the film, she is bullied by the other insects in the garden, they call her ugly, fat, etc., tell her what she can and can’t do, and she almost gets eaten twice (by a spider and by a bird). There are also some kind insects in the film, such as a wise worm who gives her advice about what it really means to be beautiful and how important it is treat others with kindness, no matter how “ugly” they may be. The worm was voiced by the late Stefan Karl Stefansson (a.k.a Robbie Rotten from LazyTown). But I really think that everyone should watch this film at least once in their life because it teaches us a lesson of how it is always important to be kind to others no matter how “ugly” or “strange” they may seem, because you never know if they are really a beautiful butterfly on the inside.
If you’re interested in watching, the film is available on YouTube.

20 Crazy Pictures Of Animals Without Hair
20 Crazy Pictures Of Animals Without Hair
Pets can be commonly described in some adjectives: cute, adorable and furry! It’s easy to recognize these common animals–and why not? We’ve been taught their names since we were probably three years old. However, imagine the animals without fur. We don’t think about it much now, but without hair, animals are almost unrecognizable. They look like completely alien species! Still, plenty of these hairless animals are still bred kept as pets, even without their famous fluff. Check out these following twenty animals without hair and see how many you can recognize.
Kangaroo
This kangaroo, named Sabrina, was unfortunately abandoned by her mother as a baby. Kangaroos need to stay in their mother’s pouch until they are old enough (and grow enough hair) before coming out.
Penguin
Unfortunately, discrimination is present in the animal kingdom too. A bald penguin was rejected by his mother for not having any hair at a Chinese zoo.
Chimpanzee
This is a hairless chimpanzee with alopecia, a rare condition resulting in complete hair loss. The illness can also affect human beings.
Bear
Dolores the bear and her other female companions lost all their hair. It’s thought to be a rare genetic condition. She looks completely unrecognizable without her fur!

Dog
Quite a few dog breeds are hairless. This breed type is known as the hairless khala, and was voted in 2002 as the ugliest dog in the world.
Chimp
‘Cinder the Chimp’, better known as ‘The Naked Chimp’, is one famous example of an animal with alopecia areata.
Baboon
Were you able to recognize that this animal is a hairless baboon? This one was spotted in the wild, and is believed to be another case of alopecia.
Anteaters
These two anteaters are born with no hair, however, they have little spikes poking out of their backs.

Aardvark
Aardvarks are born bald and fragile, but they usually grow fur later on.
Hamster
Hairless Syrian hamsters are believed to be caused by a rare gene. We still think it looks cuddly and adorable enough.
Caterpillar
The caterpillar in the photo is one unfortunate insect, he’s both albino and bald at the same time.
Sphynx Cats
Sphynx is a hairless cat breed whose skin feels like a skin of a peach. The breed developed after a domestic cat gave birth to one hairless kitten fifty years ago. Breeders still sell these furless cats for pets.
