Eden scoffed, a bitter smile playing on his lips. “Typical. You always do this,” he said, sitting up and throwing his legs over the side to get out of bed as well.

“What?” Jett looked at him with narrowed eyes.

“Was that Kai?” Eden asked, standing up. He looked so damn sexy standing there buck naked with his dick out, but Jett had to stay on topic.

“Guys,” Dami’s firm voice attempted to cut the tension.

“Get out,” Eden’s bright hazel eyes didn’t waver or leave Jett’s onyx-colored eyes.

“I was just leaving,” Jett snipped back. The shorter man grabbed his jacket and phone off the bed and left the room. His feet padded down the stairs, and a few beats went by before the front door opened and closed.

“Fuck!” Eden cursed in annoyance, grabbed his shorts off the ground and left for the bathroom before Dami could say anything. He didn’t care if Jett was seeing his ex again. No, he was so sure he couldn’t care less. Rather, it’s the lies, the secrets, the elusive half-truths, and deception. It’s stupid that he cares, but he does. He just does.
